Summer in Tokyo was akin to watching ants skitter around a mound. Everyone was doing something, whether it was seen or unseen. People were hanging out with friends and family in the temperate weather. Kids and teens alike were enjoying whatever break they could get, relaxing in the summer sun or buying toys, games, and summer wear for them to show off. Plus with the famous Summer Festival coming around many people were buying and selling hero merchandise in stalls and stands. Attracting fans, aspiring students, and tourists from all parts of the country. Whispers of popular students and up-and-coming students would be on the lips of many of the people nearby while others would argue about how their personal favorite would easily trump another's. Yes, summer was in full swing. And with all of its wonderful features, the summer heat would often rouse up the rabble that would prefer to stay in the shadows. Encouraging and prodding undesirables to make a quick move while the world was enamoured with other things. "Phew... sure is a nice day out here." A large burly man with a black suit walked through the busy streets. "Hard to think that it's already summer again... guess it's that time of year." he yawned as his eyes peered from left to right. His eyes stopped on a particular hero stand that seemed to be getting a lot of business. His face scrunched up as he approached the stand, pushing his way through the crowd to get to the front. "Hello there! What can we interest you in?" The store clerk was a young man, likely some kid who was just doing a summer job. Without as much of an answer, his eyes scanned the stand to where a large black box was, its of money piling up inside. "I'll just be taking that." His muscular arm taking the whole case into his palm before walking away. "Hey you can't ju-" With a flick of his finger he sent the boy flat onto his back, his forehead swelling up as he writhed on the ground. His immense strength apparent to everyone else around him as he calmly walked away with the box of cash. "Jeez, kids these days just putting money wherever it can get nabbed from. Makes my job easier." H ripped the box open, stuffing it contents into his pocket before tossing it back. "Man... sure do love the summer season." He mumbled under his breath as he ignored the apparent chaos and attention he was getting. Not like any of them could stop him, and with the busy summer season, he'd have enough time to grab a few things before heading out. He spied another stand, not wasting any time to approach it to crush a safety deposit box and taking its contents into his coat pocket once again. With each stand, the sound of metal crunching would be followed by screams, angry patrons, but no heroes. "Man I should've done this years ago, robbings stands it a lot easier than robbings banks." He grinned as he felt his pockets getting heavy from the load he had gotten. "Welp might as well keep it up, wouldn't want to keep them waiting." He mumbled as he spied another vendor who had already abandoned his shop. Our Villian of the Day Is...

Like many teenagers, Koruso had been taking the day off. Between school and excersize, the boy didn't really have much time for himself these days. Hero work was too important too him, as illegal as it technically was, and he couldn't afford to lose out on his studies. But, however, today was slow. And so Koruso had left to go play some games at the Arcade. A day to unwind, a day to relax. It was going good, so far. Koruso was never the best at video games, but he was having a great time. He'd never had the chance to enjoy them as a child under his fathers strict tutelage, so now he was making up for lost time, he supposed. He was racking up high scores left and right! That was, until he picked up the sound of crushed metal and screams. Turning his head, he ran out of the Arcade to look around, seeing what was going on. He saw a giant of a man in a black suit stealing from Vendors, and Koruso's eyes narrowed, his brows furrowing together. This man... how dare he! Using ones powers for petty theft?! He looked to the innocents. The screaming men and women who were afraid of this man. They were scared, and even the cops weren't getting near this man. Cowards! Looking around again, he looked for any signs of a Hero. "You're kidding! No heros?! None at all?! Damnit! Think, Koruso! Think!" He screamed to himself mentally, before his thoughts setelled. He only wished he had his hero costume. But he didn't. He was going to have to do this as a civilian, like it or not. Dressed in a button up white collared shirt and khaki's with sneakers, Koruso ran towards the villain, picking up a rock along the way. "Hey!" Koruso shouted, giving the rock a good toss so it'd hit the man in the back and get his attention. He wasn't planning on fighting this guy head on, not yet anyways. Not until he knew what his Quirk was. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size, asshat! Give these people their money back and surrender before I have to take you down! The easy way or the hard way, your choice!" |

The gruff villain whistled a tune as he continued to take more and more money from the vending machines, shoe boxes, jars, and whatever flimsy containers money was being held. His attention only being diverted by some dumb kid that was gonna try and stop him. He turned to him only to have a rock bounce off his chest. Though for a moment, the rock seemed to make the man's chest tense up before it was shrugged off. "Really...? A rock?" He picked up the piece of earth twining it in his fingers. "I mean come on kid... you're not gonna stop me from doing this..." He picked up a jar of money and dropped it onto the ground, shattering into pieces as he scraped up its contents. "...With a rock." His grip tightened around the rock until it began to crumble in his palm. "Now unless you plan on dropping a boulder on me... get lost. Even then I don't think that a boulder work..." He rubbed his chin as he contemplated the idea. He didn't need to waste time with some wanna be hero punk that thought throwing rocks was going to stop him. Sure he could probably break the kid in two if he really wanted to, but he really didn't want to. After all, he was really here just for the money. And any time spent with that little rat as just cutting into his profits. |

Koruso was grinning a little, his heart beating a little faster. This was his first real battle, his first real fight. And from the looks of it, this guy didn't seem too smart. He was underestimating Koruso. An enemy sure of their victory was bound to make a mistake. From that little rock, Koruso had learned two things. This guy was tough, his chest had tightened a little when the rock hit him. But otherwise, not even a flinch of the sort. Perhaps his Quirk had to do with absorbing kinetic energy? If that was the case, this was going to be difficult. Koruso could still burn the man, at least, but there was really only on way to find out what this guy was capable of. Koruso chuckled a little. "A boulder, huh?" He'd ask, before charging straight at the man. Just before getting to the man, a small explosion would ignite under Koruso's left foot, propelling him into the air. "How about some Dynamite instead!" Koruso would shout, throwing out a wide sweeping kick towards the man's head. Whenever the leg made contact with the man, his sweat would ignite, resulting in an explosion! [Dynamite Kick! Used. 10/20 LP remaining.] |

The buff villain continued to whistle a pleasant tune amidst the chaos and confusion that was going on. Why was everyone getting so worked up? He wasn't destroying buildings, setting fire to things, or holding people hostage. All he was doing was teach some kids a valuable lesson, put your money into banks. At least then if something bad happens you can get your money back from the government. No one's gonna come and save your life savings if you put them in a shoe box. "Dynamite?" The villain pondered the thought as he turned to face Koruso, his kick landing square in his face before an explosive blast sent shockwaves against his body. Koruso would notice that upon making contact with his face that his body felt extremely tough and hard upon impact. Smoke from the explosion slowly enveloped his upper body, but it slowly started to clear away showing that the man's face seemed completely unphased by the attack. Though he was wildly patting down some embers that had managed to get onto his coat. "Damn kid I just got this a few days ago!" He finished patting down the embers and checked his pockets to make sure that none of his money had gotten set aflame. Seemingly sighing with relief that all his work didn't go to waste. He then turned his gaze to Koruso. "Look, kid, I get it, want to be a hero, save the day and make everyone happy. Got a nephew just like you, know what happened to him?" He messed with the wrong guy and ended up in the hospital." He punched his palm, seemingly wincing as he did so. "So let's just save each other the hospital bills... and scram off." It was apparent that the villain really wasn't interested into fighting the kid if he didn't have to. He continued whistling away a tune as he walked over to another stand and ignoring Koruso's presence. "Oh I know this guy... maybe I'll pick up a souvenir." He plucked an action figure before going right back to stealing money from whatever places were left open. |

Pain shot up Koruso's leg as his blast impacted the man. It felt like he was kicking a solid steel wall! Throwing his arms forwards, two blasts eminated from his palms, pushing him straight back and distancing himself from his enemy. He glared at the thief as the smoke cleared. He frowned, and he'd be lying if he said that he wasn't a little shaken by the fact that his strongest ability had no effect on the enemy, supposedly. Then, the man spoke, and pressed his hand into his palm. He winced. That was the last clue Koruso needed to put everything together. The tightening chest, the fact that the man felt like steel. And yet, despite that, he was still capable of harming himself? "Non-Newtonian." Koruso spoke, looking the man in the eyes. "That's your quirk, right? The harder I hit you, the harder your body will get. So..." Koruso spoke, bringing a hand to his chin. "I suppose I should just give up." Koruso spoke, shrugging his shoulders. "I should, but I won't. That's not what doing the right thing is about." He said, bringing up his foot and then slamming it on the ground, causing a small blast once more. Several small pieces of broken-up concrete flew into the air, and Koruso grabbed one. He decided that this time, he'd add a little heat to his pitch. If he could overpower this guy, hit him faster than his body could harden, he might stand a chance. Bringing his hand back, he smirked. He threw his hand forwards, and at the last second another massive explosion rocketed forth from his palm! The concrete was propelled forwards, breaking off into smaller chunks that were all flying as fast as a bullet towards the theif! Koruso thought that he might've just thought of a new special move. He'd have to think up on this one. What would he name it? Shotgun Pitch? He wasn't sure. [TNT Barrage used to launch concrete. 2/20 LP remaining.] |

"Oh... so You're not just some dumb wanabe hero? You actually have some brains." The brute seemed somewhat impressed that he had managed to discern his quirk rather quickly. Though he didn't seem to mind, especially considering that a quirk like his wouldn't be able to threaten his body. "That's right kid, if you know how a Non-Newtonian fluid works then you ought to know that all the kicking, punching, and screaming in the world isn't gonna do a thing to me." He pounded his chest to make a point. "If you don't, then go ask your science teacher. I'm sure that they'd love to give you a lecture on the subject." He smiled somewhat, maybe the kid wouldn't end up doing something stupid if he knew that there wasn't a chance in high heaven that he'd be able to make him back off. Sadly, that smile faded when he did that thing that heroes usually do. Try and justify their foolhardiness with it's what right and blah, blah, blah. He ought to keep a bingo card with him to see how many silly tropes people like this tended to do. It might make things more interesting than usual. He sighed as he scratched his head. "There really is no way getting it past that thick skull of yours huh?" He shrugged with indifference as the boy slammed the ground. "I'm honestly not in the mood to be hurting people, especially boneheads like you who'll likely just keep getting up even if you've got broken bones and torn muscles." His eyes followed the cement as it went into the air. "Ah I see what you're playing at." If he was trying to go for the weakness of his quirk then it didn't take too much thought to figure out what he was going to do. As the boy reeled his hands back the brutish villain made one of his arms liquify. He whipped it over to one of the nearby stands he had just recently looted, his hand hardening as it made contact with the metallic foundation. His hand gripped against the metal before whipping his hand back, tearing the metal from the stand with a loud shriek. As the cement went flying towards him he raised the metal scrap he tore off, blocking most of the cement shrapnel that was coming his way. Some bits had managed to tear and puncture around his legs, but it was better than having his body turned into a cement pincushion. The boys reasoning was solid, he had to give him that. If he couldn't have grabbed that metal he might've been worse for wear. He cleared some of he cement off the battered metal shield and then began to dust off his legs which were slightly bruised and sore. "And now I wasted money on these pants too..." He sighed seemingly slumping over at the fact that he had decided to go taking money in his good clothes. Some old habits die hard he figured. "You're really starting to tick me off!" He gripped the metal shield he had made and wrapped it around his fist. "Since you're so intent on being a hero today I'll indulge you!" He wound up his arm, it began to liquefy into a vicious form. His metal gauntlet them whipped toward Koruso at high speed. His eyes scanned from the crowd, he was certain that he saw something moving in the corner of his eye. But this annoying brat was keeping him from being able to tell what was going on. Best to start thinking of a backup plan in case someone who actually posed a threat showed up. |

The man was totally sure of his victory, and Koruso couldn't help but chuckle when the man made it sound as if he were invulnerable. "Wrong. Your Quirk makes you tough, yes. But you're a far cry from invincible. If I hit you hard enough, you'd go down." Koruso spoke. But he was surprised when the man extended his arm to wrap around a nearby steel stand, taking away the metal and using it as a shield. He frowned. "Oh, wonderful... you can stretch your limbs like water, too..." He spoke under his breath. Maybe he had bitten off a little more than he could chew with this fight. But that was fine. He didn't need to win. He just needed to buy time until a real Hero got here. The man flung forwards the metal 'fist' he'd then created. Koruso was getting ready to dodge it, until he heard the scream of a woman behind him. Taking a quick glance behind him, he saw a woman and her child trying to get out of the way. If he moved, it'd hit them. And so Koruso stood his ground, and the metal projectile slammed into him. He felt the wind leave his lungs, and he got knocked back onto his back, groaning. He rolled over, letting out a few coughs, before getting back up. He grinned. "Come on, try harder! You're throwing like a girl, ya panzy ass!" At this point, Koruso was just trying to edge the guy on, hoping to keep him around until the law enforcement came. |

Screaming crowds were the worst, they were defending, chaotic, and most annoying of all... they would always draw attention to the area. Granted he knew that the would be some kind of outcry once he started his looting but he didn't think that it would get to this point. It was probably because this little brat just had to make a spectacle of what was supposed to just be a small hit and run operation. Oh well, his last strike to the kid had punched out any actual firepower left in him. Good if the backed off now then there's a better chance that he could get away without too much trouble. Still, best to have a backup plan in case he got a burst of moxie or something. "No thanks pally, I'm good." If he were younger he might've tried to actually fight the kid longer after a taunt like that. But he wouldn't make the same mistakes he did in his youth. No, better to just leave the kid with some bruised ribs and get out of there with the profits he earned than breaking him down harder and getting caught by a hero. He quickly turned his back on the kid and began to run off into the screaming crowd. Making one of his arms viscous and sticky he grabbed a young girl from the crowd and tucked her underneath his arms. If anyone really tried to stop him he'd that least have some leverage in negotiations. Now came the hard part, a plan of escape he was going to just smash and grab a few things and then escape through the crowd back to his car. But with so much attention, that likely wouldn't work. A car was too easy a target to track, especially with thousands of eyes on it. He'd have to scream through the city and lose them somewhere. For now, the usual dark alley through some tall buildings would suffice. "Keep it quiet and ou won't get hurt!" His vicious hand covered over the small girl's mouth keeping her wild screams muffled. His eyes looked around for a good means of escape through the narrow alleyway. Man things just couldn't go his way could they? |

Koruso frowned. The guy didn't take the bait. He'd already been formulating a plan for this situation, trying to think two steps ahead of the brutish thug, when he thought of something. If his pure kinetic force wouldn't do, perhaps an energy source? There had to be something around here he could use to get this guy off guard. The man ran back into the crowd, and Koruso gave chase! Slipping between the screaming citizens, he tried his damnest to keep up with the thug, knowing that he couldn't use his Quirk quite yet. But then, he heard a scream. A young girl, and a mother crying out "He just kidnapped my daughter!". Koruso's eyes narrowed, his teeth showing as he grimaced. He could only imagine how scared that poor girl must be. "YOU ABSOLUTE COWARD!" Koruso called out, no longer caring about his stamina levels or how tired his Quirk made him. A few swift blasts, synchronizead from his hands and feet, and Koruso was in the air, chasing after the thug. Changing course, he dove feet first towards the enemy, and he'd attempt to throw his arms around the mans neck! He'd dig his knees into the thugs back, pulling back on his neck as hard as he could! He didn't think he'd be able to incapacitate the thug, but he sure as hell hoped he could at least get him to release the girl. If he got hurt in the process, so be it. |

The sound of loom explosions didn't really give the kid an element of surprise. But it was obvious that he didn't really care as he decided to charge him from behind with loud explosions. He felt the sharp impact strike his back which hardened right as he struck. Didn't the damn kid know how this right was gonna play out? Though the fact he was pulling against his neck was irritating as it stretched back uncomfortably. H "Jeez you just don't know when to give up do you!?" His voice was strained as he tried to suck air through his teeth. The annoying brat apparently thought that he was a coward for using a hostage but it was only sensible if anything. He who runs and flee's the day lives to fight another day. Or in his case rob but if he thought that his grip was going to contain him he'd have to think again. His head began to began to liquefy and change into a rather sticky viscous from that slipped through Koruso's grip until it moved back into it's proper position on his head. His arm had apparently done the same but for the sake to keep the young girl trapped in his sticky yet tough grip. "Peh... and you call yourself some hero." He took a step back as his vicious grip on the young girl began to tighten like a boa constrictor squeezing the life out of a mouse. The girl's screams became shallow and then changed into quick coughs. "You really think it's a good idea to attack a guy who's got a hostage!? I could snap this girl like a twig... and just to prove to you that I would." His vicious fingers hardened as they gripped the young girl's hand. "Sorry kid, but I have to make an example out of ya." His large muscular fingers gripped the child's dainty soft hands. The course skin scratched the child's hand as they tightened around her fingertips and with a bit of pressure on a few select fingers they snapped backwards, sending a splitting pain into the child's body as her index finger broke and limply dangled on the back of her hand. Her cries became frantic and severe but were muffled as the brute made his hands viscous once more to muffle her screams. "Now that's just one finger, and if you try and if you keep following me I'll snap off another finger. I'll keep snapping them off like pencils, then I'll go to her hands, her arms..." He voice was sharp and shallow showing serious intent on damaging his hostage. "Then I'll work her toes, her feet, her legs, snap her pelvis and spine, break her nose and teeth, and if I have to I'll kill her and just get some other unfortunate kid who's around. So you can play hero all day if you want, play it till every kid within my arms reach is broken, battered, or dead and you can say that you're the hero. Or you can stay put where I can see ya and this kid will only have to worry about a busted finger." If it wasn't clear enough now, it ought to be. He wasn't going to go to jail cause some punk wanted to play hero. If he wanted to be the hero that the world would churn out... then he was going to play nice and let him get away. At least he ought to unless he was okay with letting small kids have broken bones. "So let's try this again... I'm going to go through here and I hear as much as a firecracker go off that's another finger. Get it? Good..." He didn't even wait for a response he just hurried through the alley wit the kid in tow. The streets weren't far off but he'd have to act fast if he was to escape the city panic. |

In a few moments, Korsuo was thrown off the villain and landed back-first on the ground. He rolled back onto his feet in a swift motion, only to get a lecture about hostages and to see the man snap the girls fingers. His eyes went wide, and he stared at the man with a look that could kill. "Bastard...!" Koruso muttered under his breath, his right hand clenching as tight as it could. It was the only thing he could do to contain the absolute rage he was feeling. As much as he hated to admit it, the brute was right. Attacking him while he had a child would only put the child in even greater danger, and Koruso didn't have the quirk necessary to stop him. "Come on! Get up, Koruso! Pah, you really are weak." The words reverberated through Koruso's mind. His father had said them once during one of his 'lessons' on how to use his Quirk properly. Koruso had been battered and beaten, and hadn't had the strength to stand. It was only from his mothers intervention that he survived that day. Deep down, Koruso knew his dad was right. He was weak. Powerless to stop even a street level thug from harming a small girl. Koruso almost felt tears welling up in his eyes as he looked down at his hand. His classmates always praised him on his Quirk was, how they wished they had an ability like his. But they had no idea what it was really like. Koruso wanted to help people, but he couldn't even do that. Did they have any idea what that felt like? "You can do it, Koruso! Don't give up!" Another memory flashed through his mind again. This time, his mother. The supporting pillar of love and acceptance that had kept the boy sane through all these years. She always encouraged him, praised him, and wanted him to be the best he could possibly be. His gaze softened as he thought about his mom, his grip on his own flesh loosening. His legs began to move, and he chased after the thug again. He wasn't using his Quirk this time. He couldn't afford to. And he was trying to stay far enough behind that the villian ye on where the villain was going. He had no doubt that the man would kilwouldn't notice him if he were to look back. But he had to at least keep an el the girl when he got away if he was left alone. "You're not getting away from me, you bastard." Koruso thought to himself. |

With the kid under his arm the brute walked through the crowded streets. It seemed that the people here didn't know about the situation a few blocks away. If he could blend in, just enough to get out of sight he could probably ditch the kid and make a break for his hideout. "Heh... now keep it quiet girl and you'll get to go back to your mommy in once piece." He eyes the child, his fingers still keeping her cries muffled as he let her down onto her feet. Couldn't carry around a child with a broken finger under his arm without looking weird. If the kid acted out he'd just have to keep her lips sealed. As he walked through the crowd a sharp pain impacted his back. Despite his body hardening up from the impact he still felt pain from the shock. Did that damn kid come back again!? Damn he apparently had no right mind as to what his words meant. His arm quickly wrapped around the girl as he turned around, yet he couldn't see his assailant. And the people passing him by just looked at him funny. "What but I..." He was on edge, did that explosive kid call for help? The last thing that he needed was an actual hero tailing him. His grip on the child tightened as his eyes wandered frantically trying to spot where he might have been getting targeted. His vision quickly got blurred however as he felt a tight grip against his face. Damnit that kid probably snuck up on him again! His tried to make his body viscous to escape the grip but as he did so he could feel parts of his vicious body being torn apart. A painful sensation akint o ripping off bits of his skin and flesh. He had to solidify his form once again just to keep himself fro loosing any more parts of his body. Yet even as he solidified himself he felt the vicelike grip against his neck suffocate the air out of his lungs. Whoever was wrapped around him was strong as hell! Because it was like sustained pressure it wasn't causnig his body to harden either. Whoever was attacking him must've known about his quirk. "Ugh... dammit..." His arm reached for the assailant on his back as his air reserves began to deplete. But his arms couldn't reach it, it was like he had a damn snake writing around his body and choking the life out of it. He wuld have to use two hands, it would mean dropping his hostage but anything to get rid of the annoying snake that was writhing around his body. Yet the moment the child in his arms as released he felt whatever was around him jump off. Leaping off his body and picking up the young girl that was starting to escape. For a moment a shimmer of light seemed to reflect off the assailants body. A hero not known by many, but was all the more potent in combat. A silent ambushes... The Chameleon! The Chameleon Only for a second was his body visibly before it blended into the surroundings. Only a slight disturbance in the air giving a signal as to where the hero would strike next. The brute tried to track him and tensed his body up for the incoming strike. But before he knew it he felt a sharp impact against his back. His body became solid like steel He turned, only to feel his eyes getting poked and then having his legs swept. He fell onto his back and without warning felt his arms and legs getting pulled behind him, being bound with chains. "Ugh you invisible fu-" His head was shoved into the dirt as he tried to speak. He tried to make his arms viscous to escape the binds The Chameleon clawed at his arm. Sending a painful sensation through his arm. "Dammit! I give! I give alright!" He was pinned on the ground and bound... damn guy apparently knew how to deal with him. His day was ruined by some invisiblessed hero that could wipe the floor with him. It would take awhile for the authorities to arrive, yet the Chameleon as he sat atop the brutish thug just to ensure that he wasn't going anywhere. He kept an eye on the crying girl who was still holding onto her broken finger. He grunted, seemingly distressed by the sight but kept vigilant as he waited for someone to show up to take this villain away. |

Koruso was getting closer. He was catching up! He heard the man say something about returning the girl, but he didn't believe a word of it. Then the man started to get beat up by an invisible foe -- even Koruso didn't know who it was for a moment. Staring confused at the sight, he saw the mans body appear for just a moment, and then it clicked. "Chameleon!" Koruso shouted in reflex, standing back to let the man do his work. Sirens were heard in the distance. The authorities were getting closer. From the sounds of it, an ambulance was coming too for the small girl who'd gotten injured. He walked over to the little girl, kneeling down. He smiled, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, hey..." He spoke softly, wiping away her tears. "Calm down, your safe now." "I-I want my m-mommy!" The girl spoke, and Koruso nodded. He wrapped his arms around her, picking her up and rocking her some. "We'll get you back to your mommy, okay? You were very brave, you know that?" He said, trying to get the small girl to calm down. The girl wasn't crying anymore, but it was clear she was still hurting. She clung to Koruso out of instinct until her mother came running. "My baby!" The mother shouted, and Koruso gladly handed the girl over. She proceeded to thank Koruso for taking down the thug. "My hero!" She had exclaimed, but Koruso shook his his head. He wasn't going to take credit for something he didn't do. "Hey, don't look at me. I didn't save her." Koruso said, pointing to the man. Or rather, the space above the man. "Chameleon over there did all the work. All I did was buy time for him to get here." |

"..." Chameleon watched as the authorities came and took the thug into their special storage tank before moving him into a truck. Usually with his work done he would head off and simply make sure that a proper report was filed in for the chief. Of course then there was the issue of cleaning his office, organizing papers, and a mess of other things he had to make sure get done before the days end. Before that though he had approached Koruso, The boy who had apparently made it his business to get involved in the situation while he was silently stalking out the criminal. He had crept up on the boy who hadn't quite noticed that he had gotten off the villain already. His guise of camouflage disappeared as he revealed himself in front of Koruso. Not a moment sooner he struck the boy with a sharp but harmless chop to his forehead. His face scowling in disappointment as he crossed his arms to face the boy. He had been stalking out that villian the minute he had attacked, waiting for an opportune moment to strike when he couldn't harm any civilians. But once the boy had gotten involved he had to delay his ambush longer and longer and the moment that a hostage had been taken he had to make a swift decision that could've failed ultamitley if his study of his opponent had been incorrect. "..." Without a word he held out his hand as if asking for money, though considering the context of the situation it would've made more sense to assume he was asking for a hero license. Perhaps he just didn't recognize it, or perhaps his intuition was right and this was just a kid that was trying to play hero. Something that might have once been admirable in times past was now dangerous and illegal. It seemed that the hero was demanding an explanation of some sort for the boys actions... even if he didn't say it explicitly. |
