It was like any other 'normal' convention in Tokyo, extravagant and over the top as machines booped and beeped, lights flashed and on-lookers gaggled over the latest gadgets. A few shrill female voices let out poorly subdued screams of joy as some hero or other demonstrated their prowess with their 'weapon'. When it came to Quirks and 'work' not all were suited perfectly for combat situations...but had other uses. Gadgets became a forefront market for an eager public as a brilliant mind could easily allow 'weaker' citizens to copy their favorite heroes to an extent. While the black market wasn't immune to this influx and buyers always came flooding into these 'legal' events with 'illegal intentions' in mind. However, unlike 'polite' society, violence and threats were tossed out like a shitty hand of cards, as buyer and seller would bluff, intimidate, and eventually come to an agreement. The only time limit that mattered would be who lost their 'polite mask' first. That particular task becoming an increasingly difficult one as an auburn haired woman clenched her delicately painted hands around china tea cup. That was the only sign of irritation as her crimson lips sat in the politest of smiles at her opponent. Clad in a woman's business suit of pristine black velvet down to the heeled boots on her feet. Her waist length auburn hair put together in a messy white ribbon as her voice broke the tense silence "Is that all you can do for me. I mean..I have my orders..". A baritone chuckle was her answer as a scraggly blonde gentleman in an ill-fitted suit merely tsked a finger in her direction before slamming his palm down on the table "I don't care what your orders are GIRL. That's my price take it or leave...I mean I risked my hide for these 'goods' and you expect me to sell them for half that. Frankly, I do value my life very much..unlike you it seems". Crimson lips merely quirked at the veiled threat as cool blue eyes eyed the poorly hidden forms of pistols beneath the two burly bodyguards's suit pockets. To her experienced eyes, there was little loyalty between charge and hired muscle..if it came down to it..loyalty just meant a higher price had to be paid. None of this malicious was displayed on her lightly made-up face as her lips merely quirked again. The prices for materials had shot up again, the bane in any gadget-maker's side, but the 'quality' offered it was impossible to ignore the chance of snagging at much lower price given the hype of the convention. So a few phone calls here and there, was how Sugar found herself having tea with the little gutter rat thief by the name of...Well his name didn't matter, the only thing that did was the whispered promise of an address with an abundant stock of materials. If she managed to get her clutches on it at the chosen price, it would reduce the nagging of the expense. The thief in front of her did have a valid point, the offered payment wasn't worth the price of the reward..but Sugar had always been one for a challenge. Now all that mattered was the next card of negotiation to be played. Taking a sip of the tea cup in front of her as it was set back down with a soft clink. A pout formed on her luscious lips as she cooed out "Surely, there isn't anything you can do for me. I am sure..favors are suitable bargaining chips in your..line of work...All I need is for you lower the damn price..". Her honeyed voice became a low hiss, a bark of laughter was the answer. Followed by the metallic glint as the thief snapped his fingers and was handed a pristine gun, it's metallic barrel glinting in the lightly. The barrel was pointed down in the direction of her chest as the thief made a display of 'observing' the barrel as if he was merely demonstrating the wonder of the weapon. While his tone was warm compared to the cold look in his auburn eyes "See, I told you once..the answer is No. I don't care who your boss is..Now scoot..or..you know accidents can happen here..Like now..". Her only answer was to flash a dangerous grin as her mind whirled at possible routes to take. This was not her forte..her silver tongue was rusted from lack of use..as all she had been doing was the heavy lifting for her charming boss these past two years.. |

Advertising, that was the excuse that he had told his mother and father for the trip. Ever since his trip to Hawaii Gale had to find more concrete ways to allow for travel outside of Europe. Granted there was a tech convention so there was always that little excuse but saying that he was going for advertising for his company had some weight behind it. After all, he had managed to sell off one of his inventions overseas once, and he had gotten a hefty sum of money. He could fund himself for a trip. Now granted he was also going to advertise himself as a How Single Englishman in Your Area, but he didn't need to go into details with his parents. Japan in some ways was similar to London. Every city had its hotspots, places where people came together to talk business and pleasure. To trade money, and kisses, two things that Gale wanted more than ever. Though nowadays he was leaning more so on the money to keep himself and his business afloat. Though what made it more like home was the dark alleyways that reminded him of the underground systems. It was shady, but Gale knew his way around shady. Mainly because the best way to avoid getting into real problems was to always know when it was a good time to leave the shadows and head back into the light. For example, this 'normal' tech convention was far from anything that his parents would have approved of. It reeked of back-alley danger, of bad deals, and mostly is smelled like it was poorly managed. But he didn't mind that because he wasn't there for the atmosphere or for friendly conversation with a deal (unless they were a cute female). He was here for inspiration, ideas, and industry... black industry standards. Gale moved around from stand to stand, taking note of a few gadgets here and there. He was careful though and made note of the dealer's temperament. Nothing irks a guy quite like giving 'em the promise you'll buy something only to walk away without as much as a word. The last thing he wanted to do was get on someone's bad side and end up in a bag heading to god knows where. His attention was turned as he walked through the convention noticing that a rather beautiful young lady was having a gun pointed against her still eating heart. Oh, such cruelty! How could even the vile people of this place think that holding up such a pristine piece of beauty at gunpoint!? He'd have to step in, not in front of the gun of course, but maybe right beside them and just diffuse the situation. "Hey, hey, fellas!" He spoke with a cheerful demeanor in English. Though in the case where they only spoke Japanese he held up his phone, a translator speaking out what he was saying into Japanese. "No need for this right? No one wants their pretty gadgets all bloody, especially from this maiden's heart." He turned to gently smile at the woman. "Which I'm sure is sweet and gentle and wouldn't be able to take the force of a bullet at all." Though he showed the calmness in his face he was somewhat scared. His eyes seemed to change from their usual clementine orange into a rather glistening blue as he looked at the men holding up the woman. Along with the young woman who was being held at gunpoint. You could never really tell what kind of people you were dealing with... Luckily he could at least find out what his quirk was. You know... for the second worse case scenario where he wasn't shot in the gut and left for dead. Tech's & LP

Boisterous English was another way to break the tension between nefarious characters it seemed as just that happened. Keeping her face relatively blank aside from the occasional twitches of the amusement for the poorly thrown assumptions of her 'innocent' status. While the interloper did have a valid point that it would extremely stupid for blood to be shed in such public view as she could see the synapses of the dealer's brain spark and finally come into thought "Brat has a point, let's just take this on the road. Ladies first". The hasty flicking of a gun for Sugar to rise was evident followed by the thugs going on either side of her stupid 'hero'. Standing from her seat as she didn't spare a glance for her hero. The moron that he was just made the situation possibly much more dangerous than it needed to be for a simple deal. A delicate quirk of her eyebrow was her silent question as the man's eyes flickered orange to a cool blue, similar to her own disguise right now. A sign of a quirk being used? Sugar thought as the uncomfortable barrel of the gun pressed against her hip. Impatient bastard, it seems in all aspects of work. A faint smile crept up on her lips as she filed that piece of info away for later usage. The most impatient people had the tendency to die in the slowest of fashions it seems..eventually..within the next few hours for the dealer. While the two burly thugs merely placed meaty hands on her 'rescuer's shoulders and gave him a shove to follow their boss and his 'lady'. A few on-looker hastily found themselves busy with something else such as their phones rather than be as daring as the young British boy. Minutes seemed to pass by as their footsteps were the only noise followed by the increasing irritated sighs of Sugar as her assailant's hand rested snugly on her hip concealing the gun from view, but she still felt the hard barrel against her flesh. While her eyes merely narrowed at the tag-along kid silently scolding him *Now look what you have, good job..genius..*. The warmth of the day did nothing to stop the cool anger she felt brewing in her chest as another shove was given as the two found themselves comfortably close inside a black SUV. Each door blocked by a beefy henchman, and it would be suicide to make a move as the car picked up speed. Buildings sped by from apartments, businesses of all sorts..and finally something a bit familiar of warehouses. The salty scent of the sea made her feel a mixture of an anxiety and homesickness, as home-worthy a warehouse could be. The gravel crunched beneath their feet as the occupants were escorted out of the car, Sugar merely drawled "What, this was your price to reveal where the hell you were stashing the goods. A dandy car ride .Man, and here I thought I was going to get on my knees and..". Her tirade was cut off as the butt of the pistol slammed against her face, seemingly splitting her lip. Crimson blood dripped down her chin as her answer to blow was a cheeky smile. The lip was perfectly lined and undamaged despite the blood evidence.."Get this bitch and her little knight in shining armor inside. Keep your guns on them...". So this was the worst possible way for the deal to go. In a unknown warehouse, guns pointed at her and to put the cherry on top..a fucking kid roped her into this entire mess. If her cheek wasn't already bruised from the pistol-whip earlier, frown would be her choice of feature..but the smile remained..but it would be breaking eventually.. Techs and LP |

His mother always warned him of this, that he was too nice, too much. Though he would retort that if he didn't go out and help the ladies from the brutality of other people who would? The obvious answer would be a more qualified hero, but that was an answer that he always avoided giving to his mother who probably knew better anyway. He would come home with bruises, cuts, scrapes, and other injuries. Not once did he ever come back home with a girl, or even a lipstick stain from a kiss. Nope, only red blood which most of the time was his own. Now despite his intentions, he was in the back of a car and more importantly he had managed to make the situation worse for the poor maiden he had intended to save. He made himself small and looked down once the young woman looked at him. Likely in disappointment or anger which in all fairness was just considering what he had done. "Sorry..." His voice was weak and quiet. Not that she would know, but he wasn't aa soft spoken man. But he was used to dealing with gang bullies, people who would use fists and kicks, and occasionally knives. Guns and other lethal means of intimidation shut him down from his usual chivalrous talk and he just kept himself quiet as the drive persisted. Multiple times he had thought that he could try and lighten the mood but he was far too afraid to speak up for fear that he'd get shot in the foot just to keep him quiet. So he simply tried to keep his thoughts positive. These guys would likely have no real reason to kill him, at worst they might use him for ransom. Not a pleasant story he'd like to explain to his mom and pop, but he had to keep his spirits up somehow right? Better money, than blood. As they were escorted out of the car Gale realized that despite being held up he still had his glove on. If he really needed to, and if the opportunity presented itself open he could try and spray one of the guys with it. Not that he had the courage or opportunity to take that chance, but it calmed his heart a little knowing that he had some form of protecting himself in case something terrible were to happen to him. He made note of the young woman speaking up, only to flinch up nearly jumping when she was struck by the gun. It angered him and terrified him all the same, he hated seeing women getting hit. He hated the idea that these assholes were doing this for some small misunderstanding, but he bit his lip knowing damn well that he was powerless in this situation and just turned away from her. They were lead into a warehouse. Great, just how he imagined his trip to Japan. Not glorious trips in towns, or having fun chatting it up in host clubs, nope being stuck in a warehouse at gunpoint. It was like the movies, except that he knew he wasn't some great actor who knew the solution to every situation. He sighed as he inspected the area, his eyes changing from their usual orange to blue once more. At the very least he could try and get a feel for the number of people that were inside the area. And if there were people there he'd know their quicks, assuming they were close enough for his eyes to focus in on them. Tech's 'N LP

Time was running out as Sugar fidgeted impatiently..while a soft chuckle came from one of the guards as he made a comment about a little lamb isn't so tough when cornered it seems. A soft cry escaped her lips as her legs hit the floor, as her lips trembled in fright, if it was gambit to elicit sympathy it did nothing as the more stoic guard stomped over and grabbed her elbow to lift her roughly to her feet. The loosely grasped gun swapped ownership the second Sugar saw her reflection staring back at her. Emptying a bullet into the shocked man's chest was child's play as the acidic scent of gun powder filled the air. The other thug moved for his own gun only to threatened with the stolen one as a smug look decorated the bloodstained woman's face. Kicking at the corpse as she strolled past it as if walking among the flowers in a pretty little dress instead of the ruined suit. "Be a good little knight and keep that mean dragon busy won't you..my little hero" Sugar purred out with a wink as she swayed past the boy. Bullets pinged as Sugar emptied the chamber, aside from one bullet into the ceiling. The multiple gunshots would had made the deafest men come running, and come the dealer did. The footsteps of his shined shoes came to a halt as the small brunette aimed the gun between his eyes as the tell-tale click of gun's being pulled back was heard "You little..." the dealer voice growled out until it stopped as the cold barrel pressed firmly against his skull. Tsking under her breath as Sugar delicately stepped about the man, cooing softly as her free hand hastily patted around the man's chest and pocket. While a genuine smile lit up her face as a soft click was heard revealing the hidden pocket knife once concealed in the man's suit pocket. Pausing to admire the beauty of the tiny blade as Sugar cooed "Now, this is best price..I could just take the goods and walk out..leave you with a corpse..and the kid". A dry chuckle escaped the dealer as he agreed slowly, amber eyes following the glinting knife currently being twirled around like a toy in woman's left hand. The gun was tossed to the side carelessly as Sugar merely wrapped her arms around the man's neck as the blade faintly caressed the man's revealed throat as she let out a surprised gasp as if a thought had just occurred to her "But, why would I want that. People talk..and that gets the heat from the police..Besides, you do have such pretty..pretty..eyes..". Another nervous expression as the woman's smile grew just a bit larger, while her free hand gently ran her fingertips over the man's face. A second passed as the man stared back at his own reflection..while the same twisted smile graced that copied face "However, you damaged my face..So your pretty eyes can't save you now..". A shrill howl of pain escaped the man as the blade nicked across his sensitive orbs until it turned into gargled noises as his neck was cut.. A delicate hand pulled out a handkerchief to wipe some of the blood splatter from the borrowed face as a soft humming noise came from the woman's suit. Masculine features turned softly feminine The auburn hair came tumbling down into a waterfall of brown and pink..as mismatched eyes of brown and pink narrowed at the source of the noise as a slim black phone was flopped open grumbling "Time's up" as she pressed the talk button while her cheerful expression grew more sulky as the conversation continued as she hissed out [Really now, that's your issue with this mess. THAT I DIDN'T LOOK AT THE WARES BEFORE MAKING A DEAL...DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HELL I HAD TO DO...STOP NAGGING ME...". Her voice became more subdued as the voice on the other line became softer "Yes, I understand. Heres the GPS coordinates of my location..Uh huh..See you soon..I...". The phone conversation ended before Sugar could finish her sentence as she slammed the phone shut with a huff.. "So..looks like we have time to kill..What should we do..now..." Sugar inquired with a low purr. Her smile a crimson mess in the combination of blood splatter and lipstick..at least the product would be free. All that remained was loose ends, as she glanced at the boy before asking in a sweet voice "Oh, don't mention the bodies to anyone K'ay...he gets..pissy about this..sort of things..". Nonchalantly explaining her boss's rational problems with her murdering folks..was humorous as her lips twitched slightly at the possible expression in her future. Her left cheek was turning a painful shade of purple from the earlier blow and the split lip didn't make her such a pretty picture Spoiler: click to toggle Edited by Silverinks, Aug 22 2016, 05:12 AM.

Everything moved so fast for even Gale's eyes to key in on. The sound of a gun firing off had made his heart skip a beat and nearly sent him into a panicked state. It was only when he realized that it was one of the thugs that had kidnapped him who had gotten shot. He looked to see that the young woman had somehow managed to get the gun from one of the goons and shoot him right through the chest. Blood spattered over body and face like Jack the Ripper. The sight honestly terrified him, here he thought he was helping a young woman who was being bullied up by some dealers... yet here he was now having to deal with what was likely some psycho assassin and a gun-wielding thug who she had left to him. Though what might've been the most disturbing was the fact that she could just take the face of someone else so easily. As she had passed him by a sharp shiver went up from his toes up to his ears. An eerie sensation that set his body off into fight or flight mode if it wasn't already in that state. The grunt that was left seemed to be shocked all the same too, probably still afraid that he might end up getting shot. Gale didn't waste time rushing over to him, tackling him to the ground. He wasn't a fighter as evidenced by his flailing to keep the goons arms pinned down. "Just... stop moving and this will be quick!" He struggled, hoping that the goon would just lay down. What if that psycho chick came back and decided to shoot him!? Wouldn't it be better if he just played dead right now!? The goon sent a swift jab to his cheek, bruising it in the process. But Gale managed to ignore the pain for the brief second and punched the man in his face. Squeezing his palm as he did so and releasing a powerful connection into his eyes and towards his mouth. The combination sent him into a coughing frenzy before Gale wound up for a flurry of punches that battered his knuckles more so than the goons head. In the end, though it was enough to keep him from waking up, and that's all that mattered to him. His fists were bloody, his knuckles pulsed with pain and his cheek had already started swelling up from the earlier punch. His legs shook as he managed to stand up, he took the gun off the goon. Hiding it away in the warehouse if he cases he ever woke up. As he waddled around the empty warehouse his eyes, unfortunately, spied upon the Bloody Marry with what looked like a blade around the lead thug's neck. He was somewhat surprised that she had tossed away the gun and was resorting to a knife. He wanted to reason with her, to open his mouth and perhaps, with as much reason as he could muster, suggest that she let the guy go and just go back to the city. His courage melted into a pool of fear and cowardice once he heard the blood-curdling scream of the man having his eyes slashed open. The scream bein cut short because she then proceeded to slice open his neck. His eyes wanted to turn away, to just imagine some other reality where he was back at home with his family and not watching men getting their guts blown out... or their eyes slices... or their throats eviscerated. His mental escape was distracted once the blood covered woman approached him, changing from her guise of one of the henchmen into her actual face. He understood the quirk, he knew he shouldn't have been terrified by it, but that quirk combined with the vile acts he had just witnessed made him shiver in fear, yet stuck in a place like a rabbit caught in a trap waiting with terror for its neck to get snapped. "I...I think..." His voice stammered as she spoke to him in that low seductive purr that normally wouldn't make him hot and flustered but now was making him look for any way to make a quick get away. She wasn't holding a gun anymore, but if he tried to just bolt out and run there was no doubt that she could grab a nearby one and just... make him into a fleshbag with holes. There was no way in hell he was gonna get close to her either while she still had the knife. Hell, even if she didn't have it he didn't want to be any closer to her than he had to be. "I mean- I won't say a w-word! Lips are sealed... sealed you know like a-a vault." He found himself stammering more and more as his heartbeat accelerated. "W-Which they m-m-might have around here you k-know?" His eyes darted to the warehouse, hoping that there was anything other than him that might catch her attention. Lucky for him there actually was an in a nearby corner of the warehouse. "S-S-See... like that over there..." He inched his way over to it slowly. Not trying to trigger some killing reflex in the woman if she had anything like that in her. Inspecting the vault he looked down, taking a few deep breaths to try and calm himself down. "Okay Gale, you're trapped in a warehouse with a bloody psycho killer lady that's probably not going to leave until she gets what she wants. So... so... just help her out. help her out and then you can go back to the city and stay in your hotel for the rest of the night. Some movies, ice cream... it's all going to be okay. It's all going to be okay..." He spoke the words softly under his breath like a mantra. His shakes starting to die down as he set his mind into a slightly more stable state. The vault was being protected with an electric lock. One with a multitude of buttons and switches, though it was honestly child's play to anyone like himself who knew how to work it, he'd need some time, though. "I can unlock it, just give me some time and space. Like a lot of space preferably, one wrong move and these things will go into a lockdown state and you'd have to call the manufacturer to get the damn thing open. Well... that or some really good explosives, or drills or something." Maybe some soft conversation would calm him down. Talking to ladies... even... psycho bloody ones... might help him calm down. That's what he told himself as he began to press the buttons and flip the switches figuring out the right combination to get the master code. Gaget Tech's n' LP

The trembling Romeo was an equally pathetic and amusing sight as Sugar tittered slightly at the boy's impressive act of a chihuahua. While the faint grin on her face merely widened a bit as the boy continued rambling on a possible safe, her only reply was a mere quirk of her head to acknowledge the boy's confirmation. Her boots made soft clicking noises as she followed a few feet behind before coming to a halt as her lips trembled to hold in her laughter as she caught bits and pieces of the boy's mantra. While a small part of her was curious as the boy fiddled with the seemingly complex safe system, she had never had the patience to deal with the finer arts of illegal studies aside from lying through her teeth and exceptional ability to perform under pressure. Lock-picking and pick pocketing just made her want to stab something. Crossing her hands in front her as Sugar merely swayed back in forth side to side like an impatient child would as her voice drawled out "Aren't we a clever little crumpet, don't worry if a manufacturer gets called the corpses here will be least of your worries". A veiled threat tinted with false charm as she merely scoffed the boy's suggestion of an alternative solution to the 'potential' lock-down as her voice became a bit sharper "I really..really don't have time deal with that possibility..although I am sure he would be able to pop it open..or burn it?". A curious tone echoed in her voice as her mind whirled at the hypothesis..would Apollo be able to burn a safe open without burning whatever was stored in it. A tried sigh escaped her at possible phone call as the man's irritation at a simple job gone EXTREMELY wrong would been a definite fuel to the fire. Soft giggling escaped her as she imagined the particular expression that she just adored seeing on her boss's face. It was one of pure anger or rage..best observed when it wasn't directed as her..a lighter sigh escaped her as she imagined it. It was such a PERFECT expression..worth any trouble it brought with it. Rocking back on her heels as her daydreaming stopped as curiosity took over again as she inquired "So, how stupid are you exactly..to put your dumb ass in the way of a potentially loaded gun..with a man surrounded by two cap-..". A giggle escaped her as she corrected herself "Well, seemingly capable thugs..all for a woman. That you haven't met a day in life..Huh..Crumpet?". Judging by what little she had seen of the boy's bravo..and tiny ounce of bravery this brat thought himself a hero of romantic tales..time to wake up from that fairy tale. Reality could be so cruel sometimes..but it would be better to face it now..than later. Edited by Silverinks, Aug 23 2016, 05:18 AM.

A flash of heat flared over his skin as the veiled threat only made his fingers get sweatier and frantic to figure out how to open the damn thing. He didn't want to turn his face around and see her bruised cheek and likely bizarre smile. He'd likely never be able to enjoy the sound of heels clicking against the floor again after hearing her stalk behind him. Probably just waiting for him to make a mistake so that she could find a god reason to tear into his flesh. "He...?" Oh great! Now there were more than one of these goons going around here! Probably some big criminal boss that would slice off his limbs and feed them to his pet sharks. Or he would twist his arms until they popped off like a cork. Or... or... Gale continuously began to dream up horrendous situations of pain and torture that plagued his mind. His only snap back into reality was the loud beeping coming from the safe. "Shit, shit, shit!" His mind had wandered, and now he was going to have his head on a damn stake! His fingers raked over his head before he began pressing buttons again. "No, no, no, this is fine, this is fine! You really don't need to stab me in the back right now! I've got this I KNOW I GOT THIS!" His pressing voice becoming more and more frantic as he tried to figure out what the damn code to this damn vault was that would keep his damn head on his damn shoulders! After inputting what should've been the master code reset the buttons flashed red before letting out a high pitch beep. BLOODY HELL! He screamed nearly punching the buttons in frustration. Only pulling his arm down to keep himself from going ballistic. "Okay... okay one more." He took a breath running the steps in his head as to how to get the code right. Another slip-up and likely it would send out an alarm signal that would attract cops and security officers. Now granted, he would love them right now, but he was also certain he'd be splattered across the walls here before they could show up. He began to press the buttons once again, his breath seemingly getting calm as they would blink green for a moment as he pressed a set every once and again. He paused, his breath becoming slow again as he began to run an algorithm in his head. "Okay, 6-2-5-5..." He stalled on the last button his finger floating over the numbers. "...3?" He pressed the button closing his eyes and hoping not to have his neck cut open from the results. A single soft beep echoed inside the empty warehouse, followed by the sound of multiple clicks. He breathed a sigh of relief as he heard the vault unlock slowly. He slumped over, nearly collapsing onto the floor. "There it's... done." He wiped the sweat from his brow before curling up into a ball and leaning against the wall. The last thing he wanted to do was see what the hell was in that vault if he could just forget it maybe they would forget him right? The psycho's question about his stupidity and chivalrous nature made him peek once glance at her before turning away. Why did she care? If she thought he was stupid why would his opinion matter now? But better to give an answer than make her force one out of him with a knife to the neck. "You never know, I thought... that maybe you might've been impressed. Might've... wanted to talk with me." He normally would lavish the chance to explain his usually chivalrous and flirtatious nature. But the simple words would work for now, after all... she wasn't really his type anyway. "But... you've made your point..." |

Humming softly under her breath Sugar examined a once pristine nail as if were a typical day of peace. Instead of being the acute examiner for the impromptu safe-cracking performance as a soft laugh escaped her as the little crumpet's babbling continued. Leaning over at her waist as her lips were level with the flustered boy's ear "Now..why would I want to stab you in the back..I mean I already ruined my suit. Be a waste of further dry cleaning..". Her voice was cool and level-headed as a extremely panicked accomplice would be less than easy to work with. Then again said accomplice was roped into this entire mess accidentally. His nerves were clearly shot as the button-pushing became more frantic, it was like her first murder..although less frantic stabbing with a shit blade. Her hands clapped together in slow applause as the magical sound of beeping echoed through the warehouse. Not even sparing a second glance or bothering to budge the boy aside as she merely gave him a well-earned pat on the head like a owner would a well-trained dog. While a small whistle escaped her as she admired the contents of the safe, mentally counting the amount of precious metals, few stacks of cash and... The sound of something scratching against it's metal insides protested it's removal as her delicate hands plucked out a small, but charming little wrist band. Whoever it belonged to must have paid a handsome price for it as gems gleamed in the sunlight hitting it's surface. With a sigh as she glanced down at her stiff partner before a small clink hit the ground as Sugar said casually "Your cut of the profits..would only be fair for you have something to remember your work by..". A smirk lined on her face as the boy's soft voice as she cooed out "Aww, that's just adorable..bit too young aren't you. A little hero in the making..Although your heart isn't as noble as you paint yourself to be. Saving a damsel all for the possible reward of attention..really now..at least be honest with yourself..". Patting the boy on the head condescendingly once more as she pocketed the precious content's of the safe in her suit's pockets. Turning on her heel as she silently hoped that the bloodstains clinging to her clothes wouldn't be too difficult to get out or else she would never hear the end of it. The fabric felt like it was sticking in all the wrong places as Sugar eased off the jacket portion revealing a white tank top underneath, while a hiss of irritation escaped her as a splotch of blood had seeped through the material onto the white fabric and a splash on her collarbone. The cool air against her heated skin felt amazing as it wasn't exactly comfort to fight in a suit. How her boss did it..she would never know .Grumbling her breath about cost of dry cleaning as a tell-tale click of a compact being opened echoed in the empty space. Her lip was killing her as the damaged flesh was tender to the touch and the violet bruise on her face made it look she had fought with a door and lost. While her fingers had small gunpowder burns on them that tingled anytime she moved them..all these sensations had her now as the adrenenline of the encounter faded away. That could have gone MUCH worse..right? Sugar thought as her duo colored eyes slid over the curled up boy. The kid could have been shot, turned on her or done something even stupider and took a bullet for her. She may have been a murderer, but the guilt of an 'innocent' kid wouldn't leave her mind for quite some time. While it was amusing to just poke little tiny holes of doubt in the boy's fantasy idealism "You, know..you aren't even my type kid..Sooo sorry..".. While another sniff of annoyance as her eyes blinked slowly as she glanced down at her tank-top as another 'wonderful' discovery was made as her favorite 'nice' lace bra's upper portion frilly fabric once pristine white had turned a pale pink. Her cut had better been enough to at least by another drawer full of them.. Edited by Silverinks, Aug 23 2016, 10:39 PM.

Gale froze as the bag of whatever the hell was in that vault was laid out in front of him. Apparently this was going to be his cut, for opening the vault. Damnit he didn't want dirty money! He already felt bad enough having to help a murderer he didn't want any of the spoils. Though for now he figured he ought to just play along just to keep her happy. He turned his head away as she began to undress in front of her. She had apparently made it a point to criticize his actions. Sure he could admit that his acts weren't entirely chivalrous but what was the harm in trying to protect someone? To garner a little attention by doing a good deed? "I know that, I'm not kidding myself. But... that doesn't make it any less of a good deed right? Besides... doesn't even work out most of the time anyway so I'm not hurting anyone." He always promised himself that he'd never try to break a maiden's heart or feelings if he could help it. Sure his desires were selfish in nature but he did enjoy seeing ladies happy, smiling, laughing, whatever. Well, at least when they were bloodlusty. Hearing that she wasn't his type set his heart at ease. Never before had he been happier to hear those words before. "I'll be alright, there are plenty of fish in the sea." He mumbled as he stood up and tried to ignore the blood stains around him. Plenty of fish that likley wouldn't flay him up like sushi if he got them angry. He imagined that her type would probably end up being the type that didn't mind taking power tools to the crotch. He shivered at the thought and held himself, that would have to be the painful and grotesque thing he's ever envisioned before. With his small sack of money, he was walking out ready to somehow find a way back to the city without getting put into some kind of jail. Though his thoughts were blocked as the sound of another car rolling up onto the gravel. "Oh great..." He raked his finger across his face. Either these were more henchmen or he was about to get arrestd along with the kook. He didn't bother running, whichever it was he didn't feel like getting shot, tazed, or gassed by something. "What is it now...?" |

Apollo stepped out onto the gravel with a lot more purpose than usual. He was angry. For a supposed crime boss his ride was definitely... less than fitting. A simple dark blue sedan. Honestly, he would hopefully get his hands on something more stylish at some point, but for now he appeared to just be part of a very awkward carpool with two thugs in black suits that contrasted to his white one. As he left his car and stomped his way into the warehouse, he took note of the black SUV. Not what he had in mind, but if they could jack it, it would definitely be more practical than what they have. He swung the warehouse door open and recoiled for a short moment at the grisly scene awaiting him. He pulled the hat off his head and held it in his right hand, hung loosely to his side as he used his left hand to rub his face, as if trying to wipe away the stress that was evident on his expression. "Ohhhhhh, great. Awesome. Fantastic. Totally what I needed today." He took a deep breath and firmly placed his cap back on his head. With his hat back on, he suddenly glanced over to the young man who was quite obviously not meant to be a part of any of this. "You. Stay right the fuck there until I say you can leave." With that, he turned his attention to his second in command. He held his right hand up for a second before stiffly gesturing it towards the two murders that he very much doubted was the boy's doing. "What. The. Fuck. This was a SIMPLE DEAL. I had assumed you could handle it, at least without KILLING A FEW PEOPLE." He let out a loud sigh, placing his hand to his face for a long moment before gesturing at the bodies again, now with both hands, for emphasis. "LOOK AT THAT! Why would you do that?! I've gone over this with you! We. Do. Not. Kill. Business. And do you know what this looks like? IT LOOKS LIKE YOU KILLED SOME GOOD GODDAMN BUSINESS!" He let out another, exasperated sigh holding his face in both hands for a good moment before holding one out to her, as if trying to calm her down, though it was more likely to calm himself down. "Okay... never mind any of that. I'll talk to you more about this later. For now, what did we get out of this whole farce." |

Sugar merely quirked an eyebrow up with surprise at the boy's honest words as she merely rolled his eyes at his 'fish in the sea comment'. The kid had been helpful enough with the safe, even this whole fiasco was all because of him. Well, along with the handy dandy pocket knife that had been perfectly at her disposal. About to waggle her pained fingers in a cheery goodbye as if it had just been a wonderful tea time, not a double homicide. While grip on the blade's handle tightened in reaction to metal screeching in protest of it's opening before it hastened loosened as a sheepish smile was directed at the newcomer. Said smile grew a bit dimmer as a small amount of guilt trickled down from her mind. Her cheerful expression turned into a guilty one as she winced slightly at the ginger's handling of his beloved hat, a good sign of his current mood. The amount of anger on his face was clear as he spat out his tone in the unfortunate boy's direction followed by the stiff gesture towards the two corpses. Like a child caught doing wrong as the yelling continued..said pocket knife made was tossed to the side as it fell with a protesting crack. Her mouth opened and closed a few times, but remained silent as the tirade continued while she visibly flinched as the word SIMPLE was thrown out. Taking a few shuffled steps forward as Sugar attempted to gather her voice once again, before she made hasty retreat away from the explosive man as another furious gesture was made towards the corpses "IT LOOKS LIKE YOU KILLED SOME GOOD GODDAMN BUSINESS!". Several excuses came to her mind; self-defense, fear, wanting to not get smacked around again by a thug's fist. Yet nothing spilled forward as she twiddled her thumbs stressed slightly. That was one single rule that had grey area..Don't kill business operatives as profit could be made in the present, off the past or the future. Words wouldn't smooth over this mess any longer at least with the corpses. Yet, an apologetic smile edged onto her face along with a 'It's over and done with' shrug. While his tone stated this whole problem would be talked over at length later on, in Sugar's mind as her smile turned giddy at irritated expression on her boss's face. There was just something about it that made her heart turn into a tiny puddle of goo..for all the wrong reasons. While her cue that she wasn't going to be caught in misplaced anger was the gentle sign of his hand being held out. See, it wasn't so hard to forgive her..most of the time when she broke his on cardinal rule. Inching forward as her muscles tensed nervously as her footing was weary like a skittish feline about to investigate. A mental sigh of her own escaped her as she clung to the suited man's arm with a cat ate the canary smile on her face. The effort alone made her bruised face hurt, but it was the easiest way for to express her..somewhat apology. Unlike her dearest partner who's stress was currently at an all-time high, hers was now at an all-time low. The familiar scent of cigar smoke clinging to the expensive fabric soothed her somewhat frazzled nerves as she merely pressed her uninjured cheek to the man's arm seeking comfort. All without a care that the bloodstain on her clothes would possibly leave their own markings on man's pristine suit. Even in her boots, she wasn't able to reach the taller man's shoulder..something vexed her no end. A pleased smirk curled up on her lips as her duel colored eyes landed on the frozen boy as she cooed sweetly "Well, for one this whole shit show was HIS fault..at least partially". Gesturing to the kid with a lazy wave with her free hand as she continued "Thought, he was rescuing a damsel..Instead of interrupting an EXTREMELY important business deal..So one thing led to another, my mouth got me in trouble resulting in this shiner. Thanks so much for noticing by the way..". Sarcasm dripped from her voice as her eyes glared at the boy hostilely almost wishing her Boss's quirk was her own to set the little snoop aflame. Sniffing haughty as she continued "However, it's because of him we managed to get something out of this whole fiasco through his fabulous safe-cracking. Now before you say anything, no it wasn't the fact that you managed save one of your pristine suits that I thought about..'appropriating'. It's this..". Untangling her grip from the man's arm as she scooped up the bloodstained jacket from the floor and removed the desired items. With a pleased expression as she presented each item with finesse, the best one first on a crumpled piece of paper along with a clear card "A clear lock box combo in storage facility in Tokyo, stashes his materials there it seems..instead of this lovely..metal shack". While her interested expression grew a bit bored as she drawled out "Couple hundreds in these neat stacks..oh and the kid has some type gem encrusted bracelet in the bag..." Her eyes danced with mischief as she curled herself against her boss's chest, her gaze bouncing between the British boy and her pissed off boss. It could be powder keg waiting to happen, given at the race her boss's heart currently was making. Maybe next he will remember, negotiating isn't my strong point..at least with words... Sugar thought smugly as she purred out "See, I wasn't a total fuck up..okay..maybe a little bit. But, really care to forgive me...Apollo..Just this once...". That would be inevitable lie as once had already happened multiple times more than she could count. There was a reason the mobster needed to keep her..energy on a leash. There was hint of pleading in her voice just for show, while the smug smile on her face spoke volumes about the sincerity of her request. It wasn't insincere, but it wasn't honest pleading. Snapping her fingers at the boy as she cooed out at the boy "Isn't there anything you would like to say, Crumpet?". Given the context of the entire day, the words were EXPECTED..not a polite request. In truth, if anyone has had any problems she was going to get a facial tick as her battered face hurt just a small amount.. Edited by Silverinks, Aug 24 2016, 05:41 AM.

Great... an actual mobster. Or at least someone that was dressed like it. He certainly had the attitude for it, though from the looks it didn't look like he was going to shoot him on site. Which calmed Gale a little bit, even though he was instructed not to make a move until he was done lecturing what had to be his attack dog. A loose attack dog that probably wasn't eh best person to go out making deals if that was what she was meant to do. Though his eyes got wide the minute that she basically threw the detail that he was the one that got them put into that mess in the first place. Couldn't she at least have tried to make it sound more like an accident? Sure it was... kind of his fault? If he knew that the guy would've driven them out to the middle of no-where to execute them he would've just let them talk it out themselves. "I just... come on can you really blame a guy like me for just trying to do good in this-" He wanted to say "do good in this world" but he was sure that one of them would take that the wrong way. The wrong way being that he was just trying to find some excuse to take a lady out to dinner after being held at gunpoint. TV shows really ought to paint a better picture as to how to pick up chicks in dangerous situations like these. He closed his eyes trying to figure out what would be the best thing to say in a situation like this. That girl could probably twist whatever words he said into a knife that would likely lead to some kind of internal injury or death. And this guy... he was just a loose canon. He really didn't want to make him angry, he might just get back in his car and chase him around until he felt satisfied for all he knew. "Okay I know that this was a real cock up, but my lips are sealed, alright mate?" He tried to keep his voice calm as he dropped the bag that was his share. "Alright so... you can take this. Just forget all about me, I'll just disappear like the wind." Maybe if he was lucky, they might just ever forget that this night happened. "I'm not into... dodgy stuff like this. I'm a self-employed inventor for christ sakes." He tried to make an appealing smile, hopefully being submissive enough would make this guy just leave. "So... can we just let bygones be bygones? You don't even need to take me back to the city I'll uh... I'll find my way back on my own." He pulled out his phone, he had enough power likely to get to some nearby city and from there... well he could always improvise. In his own mind, he felt like he had a dunce hat on and was trying to relearn his entire life up until that point. How the lovely fairy tale of Sir Gale Prism wound up getting locked in a bloody dungeon trying to save a princess. Who turned out not only to actually be a demented demon in disguise but also had a corrupt king unleashing her onto the world. Poor Gale, now having to stoop to aiding her in order to keep his head on straight. He mumbled under his breath as he kicked a few pieces of gravel. This would likely scar him forever, how would he ever look a lady under duress now and not hesitate? It went against his very being, but now he was sure that he'd have some subconscious part of his mind telling him not to. Damnit! Damn it all! Why did she have to ruin the fun of flirting now!? He was only 17! How was he going to get through life fearing that every woman around him might be a homicidal maniac!? "So... yeah, all in all, I've learned not to stick my nose where it doesn't belong... and to keep my eyes off of cute ladies that could tear me apart in the fraction of a second." He tightened the glove on his hand feeling somewhat ashamed that he had to go out and explain himself in this manner. This day hopefully wouldn't get any worse... |

Apollo sighed as he let his subordinate cling onto him like some sort of cat. She would always get like this when he began scolding her. How troublesome for the mob boss who more or less relied on his intimidation factor to get most things done. He was honestly terrible at using his Quirk, but just a small demonstration was enough to scare most common thugs into doing what he wanted them to. His intimidation was his most valuable bargaining chip, yet at his angriest, she seemed to completely ignore that. Likely because she somehow knew that if he was ever going to punish her with his Quirk, it would be for something a bit more dire than killing a few nameless thugs. He glared at the boy as Sugar accused him of being the reason she had to cause such a commotion, which Apollo had already guessed was partially true, thus why he told the kid to stay where he was. If this kid turned out to be some sort of liability, Apollo would not hesitate to use his Quirk to at least scare him a bit. He let out one more exasperated sigh as he took a long moment to absorb what these two had said. He would certainly have to wait until they got back home to continue his scolding of Sugar, over both the obvious transgressions, and her saying his name in front of someone who was not actually involved in their sort of business. He couldn't make a big deal about the latter right now, it would just make the fact that she said it more obvious. "Okay... right, so..." He pointed at the kid. "You made a dire mistake by pulling your cell phone out in front of a criminal. You're lucky as all hell I'm not paranoid, and I really do not feel like causing any more violence than what's already happened here. Also, since I'm sure my... second hand would not have been able to crack the safe, I do have to give you a hesitant thanks. So here's the deal. I'll believe you for now, that you won't tell anyone. Just know that if I find out that you told anyone about us, I'll kill you myself." While Apollo was not an intimidating man on his own, knowing that the woman who brutally murdered those thugs worked under him, definitely added some weight to his statements. With the boy taken care of, he turned to look down at the woman pressing her cheek to his arm. "As for you... dump the bodies, the dead ones, gather all the loot we got, including that bracelet, and drive that SUV back to our place. I'm sure one of those idiots has the keys on them, if they didn't leave them in there like an idiot." He wrestled his arm out of her grasp and wiped his sleeve with his other hand, showing obvious disgust at the blood she left on his suit. "... You're also washing the clothes for the week. All of them. Including the cronies' suits. I'll see you at home." He straightened his suit and strut his way back out of the warehouse, confident that his punishment should be enough to deter Sugar from killing again. At least for a few days. |

A pleased smirk curled onto Sugar's face as her boss merely didn't shake off her clinging. The sigh that came from the ginger merely made a soft laugh escape her, it seemed her apology was accepted..at least in public. A tingle of fear jolted up her spine as she mentally ran over her morning, just to reassure herself that the mask cases were locked. Not, that boss would go as far destroy her collection, but if she found burn tracks on the glass casing it wouldn't surprise her when she arrived back at base. Despite her admittedly many fuck-ups in the past, his dangerous Quirk had never been used on..constantly threatened about..certainly. While a soft titter escaped her as her boss's threats towards the British Boy. There had only been a few incidences where she had actually seen the man get his hands dirty personally...all events had turned fatal. Goosebumps rippled over her skin as the phantom smell of flesh burning flickered over her nose, that had been quite the night. The mobster didn't make idle threats to outsiders, it was merely promises waiting to happen. A literal powder keg for a few unlucky souls. Her expression changed to slight surprise at the begrudging thank you left the arrogant man's lips. You know I cannot remember the last time, he directly thanked me. Asshole. Sugar thought sullenly as she cast her gaze back up at her taller boss merely blinking in confirmation at his words. Well, at least he wasn't too pissed to have her walk back..that SUV was decently sleek. A pout formed on her face as he shook her off with the task of laundry being forced on her shoulders. Cheekily smiling at his obvious disgust of the blood stain, well that is what happened when blood was drawn. While a plot was already unfolding in her mind on a few select 'mistakes' she could make if she felt irritated enough..although it would be better to do so once..the fiery ginger had cooled off. Rocking back on her heels as Sugar watched her boss stalk out of the warehouse, sighing internally that he wasn't throwing her out like a stray...just yet. Her solution to scolding was foolproof thus far...who wouldn't want a cutie like her cuddling up to them in an argument. Shaking her head as her cheeks burned slightly at previous incidents using this tactic. Clearing her throat loudly as she set out on her task, first looting the unfortunate pricks that just had bad luck before rolling up her non-existent sleeves as her small frame attempted to haul the corpses out. Within minutes, the task had exhausted her as a small screech of fury escaped her as the dullard of a man looked back her from his leaning state in front of the soon to be 'collected SUV'. This moron had just been standing out there..without a word, harshly throwing the keys at the black suited man as she hissed out "Get these fucking bodies into that car. Dump them..and come back..". The muscular man merely blinked stupidly at the order before putting his ass in gear with Sugar's next words of adding to the list of the dead. Wiping her stained hands on her once perfect suit pants as her frustration faded away at the improbable task of a woman, at her size dragging that much weight with her tiny frame. While the lingering thought of chores merely soured her smile as it turned into something more...predatory as her gaze on the already threatened boy. Removing a tube of lipstick from her pocket as she casually retouched her lips before pocketing with that same dangerous smile on her face. Sugar's measured steps softly clicked along the floor as she purposely swayed over the boy..crimson lips and all. Her movement only halted until she was inches away from the taller boy's face as her hand easily pulled him down by the collar of his shirt until he was face-level with her own. Her touch was gentle as her fingers brushed against his cheek, while her brown and pink orbs flickered an unmistakable orange just for a few seconds as contact broke. Pressing her lips to the younger's cheek for a split second just to leave a crimson stain against his pale flesh as she said sweetly "So the gallant knight finally got a kiss...However..". Her voice became a bit sharper after her pause "Think it of it as a reminder..of me...and the threats hanging over your head....See you may haven't of guessed yet, my boss keeps his promise..all of them. While I, happen to have a good recollection of faces..". With her little 'reminder' in place, she released her grasp on the boy's shirt, satisfied the snoop wouldn't forget it. A small laugh escaped her at the unintentional pun as a shrill whistle escaped her lips as the stupid-looking thug merely shrugged from his position at the warehouse door as the roaring sound of an engineer starting echoed in the quiet. Humming under her breath as she scooped up the dropped bag, along with the other loot before turning on her heels to blow a farewell kiss to the little knight. Gravel flew as the commandeered SUV rolled out of the make-shift driveway, leaving the boy alone finally. A sigh escaped her as the cool air conditioned car cooled her down just a bit before her smile turned into a pout as she scowled "A whole week of laundry...maybe I can get it down to three days..".
