Too much for him to handle...did this man think he would overload Gavin He scoffed. British scoff. He had been challenged and the fact that there was more supposedly hidden away intrigued him. This bar keep couldn't even begin to see the fathoms of his quirk had yet to be unveiled. A simple migraine transfer was nothing. The pain is a different side, but pain is only temporary. Pride is forever, and his had been wounded.

The bar seemed to have a slight chill to it. The air hung as the two looked at each other. Gavin had a bone...to pick with this guy and he wasn't about to roll over and take it. Your place. Close up and lets go.

Gavin reached into his suit pocket and grabbed his phone. He needed to find this drunkard a cab so the barkeep could close down. Getting off his stool he walked to the back of the bar.
Fast cab company.
Yes hello. I need two cabs to arrive as soon as possible. One will be taking a man who went over his limit while the other will be taking my friend and myself back to his apartment.
Yes ok. Be there soon.
Thanks.

With that sorted he turned back to his man at the counter. They will be here soon. One last drink?

He saw the man shuffle around which Gavin took as him pouring the drink. The horn had honked outside so he decided that this drunkard would have his drink and be ready to close up after he tossed this other drunk in the cab. Dragging him to the cab outside was rather easy as if this were England the man might be a bit more portly in the mid section. These Japanese people were skinny fellows which must be from all the rice and fish they eat unlike Britain. Also the English could drink much more than them so that beer belly was present on most commoners.

He easily slide into the yellow cabs door.
Where is he going?
Blimey, didn't even think to ask.

He pushed the guy on his stomach and looked for his wallet. Who knew if his license or something was able to get this guy home. He handed the guy his card.

Alright this works...who paying for this?
Bugger whats this gonna run me then mate?
Around 5000 yen

This was going to start burning a hole in his wallet. He looked at his unconscious friend and then dug around his wallet.

He is 4000 yen and another 2000 from me. Make sure he gets in the door if you don't mind.

With the cabby nodding he closed the door and the taxi sped off. Close behind it though he could see the headlights of a new car. Its body yellow like the former. He needed to check on his newly made friend to ensure some progress. Pushing the door open yet again he found to see the man still standing hand holding the bottle. He had done nothing to close up. If there had been other people here to witness this they could have said that Gavin had turned as red as his palms.

He walked with a hurried pace around the bar counter. Capped the bottle of booze and grabbed the man by his shirt and pulled him in close. You're cocking this all up mate. This place needs to close up right and proper with a side of hurry up. You need to make it happen quickly if we want to make this cab. If we miss it I'm heading home. I'm interested in the possibilities tonight so don't bollocks this all up.

Hopefully that put some lead in his pencil to close this place up.

Your place. Close up and lets go.

A scoff, so very British indeed, if stereotypes could be so accurate. It was simple enough, somehow the bartender had provided a challenge and the man before him wished nothing more than to take it head on. Keisotsu ran his fingers through his dark hair, looking to the Briton with the same dangerous smirk. So… he really did want to play that sort of game. He had a way with words, so blunt, so suffice. Again, this was a man who knew what he wanted and he was going to get it, even if it did mean taking it for himself.

It could be said that he was even impatient.

A phone materialized in the stranger’s hand, dialing up a number and calling for a cab, two in fact. One for the unfortunate drunk who had passed out earlier and another for the night’s unlikeliest of pairs. Keisotsu did grab the few empty glasses and bottles left on the table, throwing them causally in the sink and the trash, respectively. Of course, he stopped at seeing the shot glass that still held his wedding ring. Reaching his fingers down, it was easy to take the small golden band out. He realized his own hypocrisy if he decided to put the ring back on. Wouldn’t that have been just the greatest insult to both himself and the one that he had loved?

But he didn’t have much time to contemplate as suddenly a hand reached out to his chest, grabbing onto his shirt and pulling him forward. He nearly dropped the thing on the floor, but instead his hand made a tight fist around the small piece of jewelry. He found himself breathing hard, out of surprise and out of… anger? Cold air surrounded him, coming from instinct rather than conscious action. The Briton spoke up again, quite obviously now showing his annoyance with the bartender’s sluggish actions. His frustration more easily shown on his surface, than the cold hearted bartender. However, Keisotsu was hardly one who succumbed to intimidation, in fact more now than ever, such anger only seemed to him encourage him more.

Mists of breath escaped his lips, now forming something of a half smirk. His face was just so close, and Keisotsu’s dark eyes could stare directly into the brown orbs of the Briton. As he had been pulled by his shirt, now the bartender was leaning forward. His free hand traveling upwards, first starting lower near the hip and his side, but gradually working its way up, exploring how far it could go, how intimate it could get, especially with the man so curiously excited to get the real fun started.

So, of course, Keisotsu would give the man what he wanted.

And perhaps it was also the other way around.

His fingers were so bold, tracing upon the other man’s chest, then reaching for the hand that held onto the cloth of his shirt. His grip came slowly, gentle but still strict and surprisingly solid, curling those long, cold fingers around the wrist of the Briton. Of course, his other hand would not remain stationary, his fingers and thumb had miraculously slipped on the wedding band on his ring finger. And so that hand too, would travel upwards, this time the fingers coming around to run through the short brown hair. The touch was the same was his other hand, cold and strict but gentle all the same.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

The next move however, was certainly not as graceful, showing signs of the carelessness that usually would have befallen the intoxicated. Holding firm to the man’s brown hair, it was Keisotsu’s time to lunge forward, his body weight practically being thrown onto the other man. His lips searched hungrily for a connection, finding it easily within the closed proximity. This wasn’t an action meant for love, but one for hungry, drunken desire. Keisotsu held the man like a hostage, not letting him go, hardly letting him breathe, smothering him with cold, white mist.

Not until he was done with him.

But when he did finally pull away, more so the bartender pushing the other man away, he did release his grips on him. Keisotsu covered his mouth, loosening his tie with his other hand. He could’ve been disgusted with himself, and perhaps the Briton was. Instead, only laughter escaped ice cold lips, dry and dark, the only kind of humor the man ever felt anymore. “Not bad.” He wasn’t sure who the comment was to, but the words came as surprise to him as well.

The next few moments passed by without much thought, though Keisotsu did remember turning off the bar’s lights and locking the door, or at least he thought he did. Then he somehow found himself in the back of a cab, sitting with a stranger and heading to his apartment. He stayed silent during the drive, a short one at that, but his dark eyes kept wandering, unable to stay focused. What had happened at the bar… was it just the beginning? Of course it had only been… He remembered exiting the car, leading the man up to the second story of his apartment building. He remembered fumbling with his keys, just barely getting the door open. He remembered reaching for another bottle of sake, a hand unbuttoning his shirt and throwing away his black tie.

But after that… he wasn’t sure if he wanted to remember.

[Fade to black for some unsavory activity...]

Notes:

Hey, sex isn't wholly unsavory!!

Anyway this thread is a riot, though I can't help but feel somewhat sorry for Susu because he's obviously not over his wife. Additionally, I think my favorite aspect of Gavin remains his propensity to be helpful while being a bad influence at the same time. The thread has a surprising degree of character development for a purely social storyline, which is always appreciated - a story doesn't have to be complicated to generate some and I'm happy that a few players realize that for sure.
