LP: 10 + 20% (5) ===> LP: 15 Her opponent unknowingly known as Sabine had been distracted as if there was someone she didn't expect to see. This is what gave Keelo the opening she needed to pull off that awkward grapple. She held on for dear life, aware that if she let go she'd give up the advantage she currently had on this villain. Whoever this seemingly non-villainous person was with the squirrel in his hands, she hoped he could handle himself, for when Sabine brought herself to her feet, it seems she had more in store for our heroine. Still holding her breath, her control of her own body made this attempt at swinging Keelo to the ground an opportunity rather than a hazard to avoid. Still being near the wall, Keelo's feet shifted to the ceiling nearby, quickly building up her equilibrium to her feet and activating Clean Up On Aisle Three (-10 LP). Using it once more to propel herself, but this time doing so to bring herself and her passenger to the ground with Keelo still on top of Sabine if this all had work out as she planned. In their descent, Keelo tightened her arm that was still around Sabine's throat. Secondly, her right hand came around Sabine's side, balled up in a fist with the side of her palm hovering above Sabine's chest. As the two fell to the ground, Keelo made one more Precise Strike (-5), waiting just as they hit the ground to attempt a strike at her opponent's sternum. If this worked, Keelo would likely end up with a broken hand. But also, if this worked, the added force of a strike to her chest and the impact of hitting the ground would likely cause some important internal damage to Sabine. Nothing vital, of course, but enough to weaken her opponent. It was a risky plan, but if she could pull it off despite the various opening for failure, hopefully, the man that had just joined the fray could lend a hand and take advantage of Sabine's compromised position. The situation had seemed a bit too easy for Marco. Well, thats what happens when you wanna break the situation quickly. He bit on his gum, as the girl jumped over his hasty try to keep her still. "Man, criminals never give up easy do they?" Marco said, as he reacted to the girls try at stomping on him by bending his back backwards, almost feeling the girls (quite gorgeous) legs scratch against him. However, his eyes widened as he saw a humongous red haired woman run towards him! "Hang on boss!" The ketchup surprise shouted! At this point Marco needed to pick up the speed! A spicy mix of this size would propably snap his back, especially in the position where she could ram her legs down his throat! Quickly he went all the way with his acrobatic display, as he bent his head in between his legs, and slithered through them at maximum speed! If the big lady didn`t have time to react, The kick would propably hit the poor Masked girl a bit too hard for comfort, but what can you do. Better the hero in one piece, than the villain filling you for the worth of 2. As he passed the girls legs in his dive for safety, he noticed, how the little disney princess sure was awfully pampered for a night of robbing. However, that was not the important thing he was keeping an eye on. Cappuccina, the late working lady of the house, had gotten a good grip around the girls neck, and the "princess" was clearly trying to fight back. As the dark cup full of goodness tried to send the girl towards the ground, Marco put his hands in his pockets, twisted his leg and... Wait a minute... Wasn`t he carrying a small package just a minute ago? A cute lil squincy of surprisingly high value? Shit! He must have dropped the poor thing while dodging attacks! He took a look around. Where could he have dropped him!? ...oh no "Oh donkey balls... PTRUU, OX! THERES A BEAST IN THE WAY!" Marco shouted, a bit prematurely. Whether a hostage or not, a squirrel dying would be a pretty miserable sight. He ran towards the princess, And delivered a quick slippery kick in her direction, to Maybe push her in the way of the giant red ox and stop it, before she trampled the poor thing. Moves used (OOC: If its confusing where the squirrel is now, its a small way behind sabine, and in front of the red haired lady.) |

Sabine found the male stranger to have slipped back from where her legs would have landed, which honestly didn't throw out her intended plan all too much. After all, her idea was to use the momentum of her fall to try and throw the opponent that held her at the neck, and with her feet headed to the floor anyway, she still attempted to do just that. But when her feet hit the floor... The opponent's did not. In fact, their feet were literally opposite the floor, stuck to the ceiling. "What in the-?!" Sabine managed to wheeze out as she caught a glimpse of this sight, before some force pushed down against her. Her feet having not yet firmly planted themselves, Sabine was summarily knocked downwards, which only got worse when her opponent actually came as well. Their fist struck with an unnatural force right at the sternum... right in front of Sabine's additional organ, where she made her gasses. Never before had she ever really been struck there directly, and never again did she want it to happen. There was pain, like she'd never felt, like she was burning from within and knives were cutting all across her skin. Sharp, and fierce, but quick to subside as well... pain was the great warning signal of the body, and perhaps this was its way of making clear that this was her most vital organ, and it had to be better protected than this. If Sabine needed any more motivation than that, she found it in the fat one's yell that there was 'a beast in the way'. Imagining only one animal to be present here, that suggested that her pet was somewhere around the scene. Managing to just slip herself free of her opponent's vice-like grip - though she could not slip out while maintaining her mask on her face - Sabine spewed out a great white mist, that might at first seem as though it were the hydrogen all over again. However, this proved to be thicker than that, a cloud that would obscure the scene all around... Because it actually was a cloud. Water vapour, just as hung in the sky above. And unfortunately for these two particular foes, it was just enough that Sabine would be rather difficult to see - and her features obscured - as she scooped up her squirrel, avoiding any attack that would have been meant for her as part of it. "We're leaving!" She yelled suddenly, which probably drew some surprise from her Tenants. In theory, they might well have the numbers and means with which to take on what were meant to be just two opponents. Indeed, she intended to make sure these two at least understood that her withdrawal was not a total concession of defeat. ...But... Sabine clutched her chest again, and not merely to keep her squirrel safe in her bosom. The pain, even if it had subsided, was a foreign one for which she did not rightly know the repercussions. Moreover, her reaction was an undoubtedly obvious one, meaning her opponents would focus upon it if given the chance. She needed to recover and to rest, and to not permit her opponents any opportunity. So it was that while her Tenants, not ones to double guess her decision making, began to bug out. Sabine hoped that one of them had actually managed to find something of value to take - whether digital or physical - but she could sink the cost on this one if need be. She propped herself against the door that was the one way out of that room as far as she could see it... and she filled the way with white. It was not water vapour. Twice the volume now, certain to at least ignite the room even if not necessarily the two inside it. Sabine would see that as being enough of a distraction, as she lit up one more match, and dived away as she tossed it. Fire erupted from the doorway in great orange plume as she scrambled for the exit, aided by the redhead that had tried to come to her rescue earlier. They were a loyal tenant at least... they probably deserved at least a little something for that much. Sabine was coughing, a rough jacking sound escaping her throat, as well as a small bit of blood. Evidently, taking that sort of hit and straining her limits... maybe not such a good idea. When she was helped into the sedan, Sabine fell back into the seat, her chest heavy as it rose and fell. It was frustrating to go like this... but she could do better. She would do better... And she would remember their faces, so she could find them again. [EXIT] LP

LP: 0 +20%(5) ===> LP: 5 Against all odds, it worked. The pain that spread through her balled, now somewhat misshapen fist had actually managed to elicit a feeling of victorious satisfaction in the split second that they both hit the ground. After this moment was over, however, whatever concentration Keelo managed to keep throughout the fight was shattered along with several bones in her hand. It was such a dumb and risky move, and this showcases the former of her plan's qualities. Keelo gasped out in pain, her undamaged hand loosening it's grip around Sabine's neck as she was unable to concentrate, her body rolling off of her opponent's. If it wasn't for that extra organ, Keelo would have been at the mercy of her opponent at the moment with a broken hand and not much fight left in her. Looking back on this fight, she'd definitely rethink her strategy when facing opponents as strong as Sabine. As the water vapor filled the room, it became hard to see. Sabine looked pained, but her distance and exact position were hard to tell as she yelled, most likely to her lackeys, to retreat. Keelo took a moment to let the pain settle in, sitting herself up against the wall nearby, watching Sabine's outline get away in the hazy mist. "God dammit.. she's getting away.." Keelo remarked, getting up slowly. She wanted to chase after Sabine, but as she took a few steps and winced, she was reminded of how much damage she took in that fight. This inability to continue was cemented as a blast of hot air hit her face, making Keelo stumble back while the flames provided a bright obstacle between the two and the criminals who came through here. Giving up on chasing her opponent, Keelo simply sighed, seeking Marco out. She carefully walked over to him, sore all over and showing it. "You.. uh, you ok?" She called out to him, not knowing that all he had to face before getting here was a snitching squirrel and thus unaware of his relative lack of serious injury. "Who are you, by the way? Didn't think heroes patrolled warehouses." She joked, a weak chuckle following after it. She picked up the now cracked aviators off the ground with her good hand, putting it back on her face before turning to Marco once more. "Name's Keelo, by the way. Thanks for the help." |

The little princess seemed to finally feel the waking effect of Cappucinas hits, as Marcos hit tried to continue to bring some more hasty pain to here. However, suddenly a huge cloud of mist appeared from her position. Of course! She had some kind of gas powers! Marcos kick slid through thin air, as he heard a commanding shout of retreat. Something weird was going on. But never mind that, he had to go after them, and atleast catch one of the goons for questioning! Luckily for him, the fog was in the way of him just diving in blindly, as the doorway outright erupted into flames, Clearing the fog, into a somewhat alluring mist. "Darn it! We have to go and..." At this point Marco finally looked at Cappucina. The brave lady had been fighting for a long time alone, and now that Marco had finally come around to help her, the fight was almost over. He saw from the computer rooms now broken windows, how the princess was carried away, like a miserable and sick toddler. Marco lifted his leg on the windows base, and looked intently. He could still propably make it. He could try and capture the girl in her weakest condition, and make her spill her secret! Maybe she was the daughter of some horrible villain! Maybe she was a hero student gone bad! What was she looking for... maybe if... maybe... Maybe it was the time to clean the spilled coffee, and help the actual hero, who had bravely handled the hotter than she had expected coffee in her lap. The lady walked over to him, and asked if he was alright. Marco spat the gum out through the window. "Better than you I`d imagine." Marco turned around to face her. Now that he got a better look, the lady was pretty plain looking. The janitor outfit she had on looked goofy, but at this point Marco couldn`t make a joke about it. Cappucina asked who he was. "A fun kind of guy. Marco kwent is the name. And yeah, "heroes" don`t." He put a special emphasis on the word heroes. it was a mocking and insulting tone. "Lets just say that if I had not thought to check this place out, just cause I thought it was weird that you had lights on this late, Nobody propably would have come to help you." Marco popped a gum in his mouth. He was in a ranty mood again. He hated it, but emotions tended to clutter up, when he thought about the heroes of today. As Cappucina tried to thank Marco for "helping her", he just raised his cap off his head, revealed his golden locks, and waved the hat towards his face. "You thanking me? Hah! He cracked open the gum in his mouth. It was simple peppermint. A boring taste that reminded him of his much meager loss in another situation. "Honestly, I didn`t help you any. All of that was on you, Cappucina." Marco bit on his gum harder. "You almost beat a criminal leader, just cause of your job here. Some heroes can`t even do it for that paycheck of lovely size. Meanwhile I just ran around holding a dang critter hostage." Marco sighed. "...And even that failed." Marco was silent for a moment. This was not him. He used to want to be the hero who could proudly smile and say "Indeed, it is I who saved you!" But instead, now he was just the guy who smiled and said it was nothing. Keelo, as she called herself, was the hero of the situation, while Marco was the repairman, who came when the situation was already done and take care of. There was nothing to be proud of there. "Anyways..." Marcos face quickly turned from dissapointed looking into a mildly amused one. "At this time of the night, I really feel like having some coffee. Maybe even some Cappucino hehe." He remembered the guards knocked out and roped up outside. "Maybe those co-workers of yours could get us some, while we enjoy some quality time of waiting for an ambulance to get you." |

As the distractionary fired died down and the mist filled the room Keelo's sunglasses fogged up slightly, to which she wanted to fix but considering her broken hand, it was just something she'd have to deal with. After they introduced each other, Keelo brought up a seat and sat at the desk nearby, feeling exhausted and aching from that fight. While Marco went on, she listened, but Keelo also thought about the fight and the injuries she accrued. First, after disposing of the grunts, the main threat, this 'villain' came in and gave her a good bruising jab to the side, and while that let Keelo get a hit off of her soon enough, that left herself wide open to be engulfed in flames. This was responsible for the numerous burns that now littered her body. Lastly, the biggest bonehead move she made, shattering her own hand bones just to have the villain retreat, Keelo chided herself mentally for that idea. "Man, I haven't changed since highschool, have I?" She whispered, giving out an exasperated exhale as Marco finished up his suggestion. "Haha, I guess, I mean, it was either that or agreed to be tied up and watch those baboons take those iron and steel bars. Considering how hard that stuff is getting to mine these days, that'd be a pretty penny." She reasoned, trying to gesture but stopping with a wince as she discovered how painful that was to do with a broken hand. She shrugged. "But then again, guess I wasn't really thinking about that sorta stuff when it happened. Just heard their voices, turned off the lights, saw them approaching, and acted." Keelo looked over her injured hand as she explained her reactionary heroism. Still looking at her hand, she frowned, realizing focusing on it only made it hurt more. "But you know, the police, n' more importantly, the press is gonna want answers as to what happened here, and uh, I guess I just don't do well with attention like that. Maybe you could do me a solid and take all the glory? Just like, say you were the one that chased them off and all, y'know?" She smirked a little, hoping this was an appealing offer for Marco. "Besides, I'm just a janitor, I don't really wanna get wrapped up in that hero business.. but a victory cappuccino does sound pretty nice, so I'll take you up on that offer, Marco." And so, they both sat and had coffee while one of Keelo's coworkers called 911. They exchanged phone numbers, engaged in small talk, but ultimately nothing too serious before the ambulance arrived, rushing to the hospital where they could actually help with the more intense of her injuries. [SCENE: END] ((OOC: Damn that was fun! I'm glad Keelo's first fight went like it did, and the way it ended seemed fair considering the villain's power and the heroes power. I'll go ahead and post that this is ready for grading so we can see the results of this thread.)) |

Comments: Quite an entertaining thread, not every night is a peaceful one and when things get rough and rowdy well there's always Sabine to make things interesting. The fight between Sabine and Keelo was fun, watching her actually do combat was a first for me so seeing fireballs and mop battles was pretty funny. Marco's highlight definitely had to be the interactions with the squirrel and then dealing with the red head, even if he didn't get to participate in the main fight much. All the same entertaining, hope you enjoy the spoils! Edited by ZetaAzuel, Sep 10 2016, 12:48 AM.
