With school pretty much at a close, Ezra had somehow managed to pass his class. Given the fact that he didn't give much of a damn about the class, to begin with, it is a bit of a surprise that he manages to do an alright job. A large part of him had wanted to fail, but he didn't want his mother to think that he didn't at least try. So it seems his most moderate effort of work is passable for a good grade, who would have thought? Honestly, he was just happy that it was over with. If he had to do more school word, he would have chundered on everything. With it now over, he was now counting down the days until he is able to head back home. Ezra was really homesick as of late, he missed being around people he actually could talk to. It helps that people back home were also not as sensitive as this bunch of tossers he has run into as of late.

Taking advantage of the break, he decided to try and see more of Tokyo. He has walked around the city a few times, but he never really gave a damn about anything. He couldn't get over the fact that he didn't know anyone nor could he talk them. The few people he did recognize were similar to the two toaster overs he ran into some months back.So he hadn't really been able to enjoy himself that much, which is not much of shock. Even if he was objective, he wouldn't really be objective at all, given the fact that he missed being back at home. Nonetheless, he was going to take the chance to actually do something instead of being bored out of his damn mind.

Going by suggestions given, he decided to make a trip to Akihabara, or whatever. Immediately, the first thing he noticed was the colorfulness of it all. In fact, it was way too much for him, annoyed the hell out of him. It was also rather quiet, there wasn't much room to breath when walking around others on the sidewalk. With his level of annoyance rising more and more, he decided to distance himself from the crowd to stop at a nearby tea shop. Not really clear on anything, the place seemed more like a cafe than anything. With the help of his phone, he manages to order a milk tea bubble tea with a side dish without even having to deal with trying to have a conversation with anyone. Taking a seat, he waited for his drink and snack, taking a moment to think of where he was going while here. "Feel like I am not going to enjoy being here." He expressed while scratching the back of his head.

Shiori was sitting down in a booth in a small cafe in Akihabara. Her sketchpad was in front of her on the table with the word 'BLACK' written on it bold faced, strong pencil lined hiragana. She was sitting by the window and looking out towards the street from her window side seat. Her chin was leaning on the palm of her hand as she was staring at the crowds walking by. She did not look up until one of the waitresses apprehensively put down a cup of coffee in front of her.

She was looking a bit apprehensively at the tall blond haired woman with the creepy black eyes, the scar covered left arm and the gleaming mechanical right one for good reason. It wasn't exactly that Shiori had been rude in ordering her coffee it was more the fact that the entire exchange had gone something in the vein of the tall blonde repeatedly pointing at an entry on the menu that said 'Lovely Heart Coffee with Fairy Tale Parfait' and pointing to her sketchpad and the word she had written on it. Even the quite gently worded question if that meant she did not want the parfait to go with it then had just earned the poor young waitress a pouty face and another pencil assisted point at the sketchpad.

She bowed to Shiori nervously as she set the coffee down on the table. Normally this would have come with a strawberry yoghurt milk poured on top in the shape of a heart and a wonderful parfait to go with it, usually that is because it was completely black and the waitress, professional as she was still made an attempt at telling the blond haired customer to enjoy her drink and her stay at the café but when met again with a silent stare she just thought the better of it and bolted off to help another customer.

Shiori looked down to the coffee that had been brought her and sighed.... It's true that she wanted a black coffee because she really didn't like strawberry flavoured milk.. but the parfait would have been nice. On the other hand she was supposed to be on a diet after all. The scale had gone over a hundred this morning and it had taken her nearly an hour to get over the shock of seeing the one thing that never lied break her fragile maiden heart with such a devious and blunt truth. Shiori, your way to big for a girl your size it had said. Well it had said so in her mind anyway, it was not like she thought the scale could ACTUALLY talk, but she liked to give things a voice in her head anyway. The scale used to sound cute and lovely and friendly in her imagination, today though it had sounded like her old baseball coach, strict and unforgiving... for her own good.

She sighed again as she picked up her coffee and took a sip. She made an awful face as she did so. Coffee was soooo bitter without sugar... but she had to be strong. She let her shoulders hang as she tried to drink through that awful taste but all this determination did was make her eyebrow twitch and cause her to stick her tongue out in disgust as she put the cup back down on the table. This day was going horribly, first there had been the scale thing this morning. Then she had gone all the way here to cheer herself up by buying some hero merchandise . But because she had skipped breakfast too she was soooo hungry and she had gone into the first café she had seen but come on. This place... It was in AKIHABARA, there were supposed to be like waitresses! In Maid Outfits! Or Hero Costumes! not just girls her age serving a quirky, extra cute girly menu in jeans.

She sighed, no parfait, no cute super hero waitress... or maid waitresses or SUPER MAID waitresses. No Merchandise yet and she would have to resign to the fact that she was completely and indisputably chubby now. She reached for her sketchpad with and angry expression on her face. No! Screw this day! Screw reality even, she was gonna have fun even if the whole world conspired against her. If there were no cute maids even here, she'd just make them up herself!

Her left hand trembled slightly as she took hold of her pencil, it was her dominant hand but lately all the scars on her hand had made the skin stiff and sometimes made it hard to move her fingers the way she wanted. Even holding her pencil was kind of painful now. But that didn't stop her, no, she and her sketchpad were on a mission now. If this place was so incredibly boring in the real world she would make it better in her imagination! She bowed herself down over the sketchpad and started drawing. Ohh there would be super heroes, and maids, and Super Maids! Ohh yes!

It was a tiresome day for Leng still, especially when it wasn't even so late. The proud and determined teenager had been jogging for already one hour and a half at least, quite the energy she possesses indeed. But her lungs were already shutting down. Though, the Da-Xia was a strong one, after all, she holds the bloodline of one of the mightiest families in the world... Or so she thinks, even if she dislikes it due to what occured to her in the past. At the least, she's still living.

The streets of Tokyo, or more precisely now, the streets of Akibahara were typically loud and crowded, almost not even any space for Leng to do a turn or keep a straight line of slow running, even worse when it's needed to pass by the huge crosswalk in the middle of everything. But that wasn't where she was going to stop, even if sweating rivers and already having quite the potent, reddish skin tone. This teenager was going to keep going and only stopping before her last breath is drawn. This is how determined the red-haired girl is, determined to be the best, or at least to be strong enough to even enter the so famous heroic academy; U.A High.

Being real now, she had to halt on her whole jog session. Upon taking sight of a small cafe, it was clearly time for some rest and thus, she slows down on her pace, on her quick steps and turns into a simple, almost lazy walk over to the entrance. Whether it was automatic or manual, she'd move in anyway, looking around for a while and taking hold of the towel supported around her neck, wiping sweat and drying off calmly. While that, she makes way over the counter and leans against it, staring forwards at the waitress dizzily, clearly having her vision all blurred up due to the boiling effect coming out of her still somewhat sweaty figure.

"Fresh water, please..."

She states in a slight demanding tone, which she totally didn't mean to. The waitress by the bar obviously gives her a furrowed expression, but nothing else than that as clients were clients and her job was to serve them, no matter how they are feeling. While simply waiting for the drink, she looks around, allowing a small huff to be released and noticing indeed a few individuals already in, minding their own business. But one somehow calls her attention... The one woman sipping what seemed to be black coffee and that resembled a cyborg. You don't see such things often, do you? Either way, the bottle of fresh water is finally slid in across the table as she takes it, her eyes simply locked on its coolness as she rotates the cap and chugs down a couple of milliliters in an almost desperate manner.

It was going to be a clearly tiresome day and those kinds of days... Well... Aren't always the best, are they?

Surprisingly enough, Ezra didn't absolutely loathe the cafe he was in. It was a step up from what was going on outside, at least. The cool air was rather refreshing, he didn't really expect it to be so hot here. If he were, to be honest, he was much more of a winter kind of guy than summer or spring. The humidity and heat overall were both rather annoying. It doesn't help that he also hates sweating, it tends to ruin his clothing, and it gives him a sour mood. That is to say, he doesn't naturally have a sour mood, to begin with, but that was beside the point. In the end, he would much rather be walking in snow than in the heat, and he was also more of an inside kind of guy than anything else.

Keeping his attention on his phone, his eyes would faintly leave the screen to give the waitress a wink when she brought over his boba and his pastry snack. Sadly, judging by her slight look of disgust, she was one of those feminist types that probably thought he was objectifying her with his eyes. Which was both true and not true at the same time. He will admit that he did check her out the one time he looks away from his phone, but for the most part, she wasn't anything remarkable. She was decent at best, which was nothing to get over confident about. Besides, Ezra tends to give a wink to any girl he sees, it is his way of being nice and giving the girl a little bit of happiness. Who wouldn't want a guy as good looking as himself giving them a wink? If Ezra were to give an answer, it would be feminist, they have become a growing pain as of late, the hardcore ones at least. From the videos he has seen, some have even used their quirks to lead a charge against a group of men just because they whistled at them. What harm can a whistle do, exactly? Nothing! The girls were just a crazy bunch it seemed, to him at least.

Ignoring the waitress, he picked up his boba tea and took decided to give it a taste. Taking the overly large straw, he pops it down into the plastic covering, spun it around a bit, before taking a sip. Immediately, he manages to suck up a few of the tapioca. He was a bit shocked, to be honest, he didn't expect it to be as good as it was. When he made the choice, he just had decided to go with something that was different, hoping for the best. Looks like he made the right choice.

"Not bad, not bad at all. Should try some more of these." He complimented while taking another drink.

Putting it down, he picked up his pastry treat, from the looks of it, he had given it a bit of time to cool down. Taking a bite, he was immediately met with the red bean paste inside, which was still rather hot, if he were, to be honest. Putting it back on the plate, he washed it down with his boba tea before turning his attention back to his phone.

Hearing the door open, he looks up for a split second to see a girl covered in sweat. Giving a bit of a disgusted look, the girl had reminded him why he dislikes the heat so much. Plus, it wasn't flattering on a female, at all, made her less attractive to him. Then again, if he were, to be honest, she wasn't his type anyway. Looking away, he did a bit of a scope around of the cafe, seeing who were all around. He notices an odd-looking girl with blonde hair. He had no idea what was going on with her, but she was a bit too weird for his taste. Nonetheless, he turned back to his phone, looking to see what was going on with his friends back home. "These wankers, they seem to be going arse over an elbow to prove they don't miss us. The pricks, can't even admit that I was the brains of the operation, and now they're some loss little bellends." He muttered with a bit of a chuckle.

It wasn't long until she was done with the whole chugging down of the bottle of water, but of course, she probably didn't even have enough stamina reserves to just end it in a jiffy. It was cold as ice too, doing such thing wouldn't be healthy. Leng simply ends up gently landing the thing back down on the table to turn around once more and gaze once more at certain people. Or well, a certain person. The blonde woman indeed, that still somehow resembled a cyborg in the Da-Xia's mind. I mean, just look at arm. That must be something, right? The girl's eyebrows furrow for a bit as she keeps a brief, but deep gaze. She turns back to the waitress right afterwards.

"Thank you for the drink! How much is it?"

The teenager questions and so she awaits for an answer as she gets it right afterwards, one of her hands digging through her pockets to search for money. She didn't brought much, but luckily fresh water wasn't that expensive. After finding some from her still slightly sweaty training shorts, she places the pay by the bar, nodding once and keeping a friendly smile to not look so demanding and weird-looking anymore. "Thank you again!", and with that, she aims for the exit, but stops on her tracks before she does so. A faint gulp is taken and her towel is once more rubbed between her neck-chest area. Suddenly, something rings. It's her phone, noising out with the typical default tune. Beep, beep! Leng went to pick it up, a basic flip phone indeed as she lifted it up and placed it over her ear, now laying against the corner by the exit.

"Granny? What is it? ... Oh, what? Really? Do you know h-- Uggh... Fiiine. I'll go get that. Yeaaah, yeah. Don't worry, I won't get lost... Alright... Bye!"

And so there she goes, after saving back the phone in her pocket, moving out of the cafe. Next destination... The between stores area!

Shiori rubbed the bridge of her nose as she took a momentary break to look up from her drawing to give the teenager taking a call in the middle of the restaurant an angry glance. She was already heading towards the exit anyway, would it REALLY have killed her to take 3 more steps to answer her phone outside?! It irritated her just how inconsiderate people could be sometimes. That was the whole problem with humanity to begin with, everyone was selfish, rude and worst of all most of them didn't even realise it!

She let out an annoyed grunt as she reached for her coffee and took a rather fast and perhaps to greedily of a sip. Her avarice made her cough as she put the cup down on the table with a ringing sound. It was already lukewarm, disgusting. Everything about this trip was turning into an annoying let down already. She reached for her pencil to continue on her drawing but the grip her maimed fingers struggled to keep on the wooden writing utensil coupled with her already agitated mood made her squeeze just a bit to hard. The point cracked off as she put it to the paper and she hung back in her seat with an exasperated sigh.

For a moment she just stared up at the ceiling in annoyance. That annoying little girl was still yapping away on her cellphone in the middle of the restaurant during the few moments her actions had took. She pulled out her own smartphone with her mechanical hand a moment later. She had made up her mind in a rash decision then and there and she stood up hastily, picking up her sketchbook underneath her left arm. Her thumb slid across the phones screen as she brought up the Bluetooth slider on the menu and turned on the wireless earbud she was wearing in her right ear. A moment later she had turned on her internet radio to drown out the annoyances of the restaurant with a solid blast of music from some currently popular idol she had vaguely heard of as she moved towards the Cafe's current register operator with her smartphone in hand and her eyes glued to the screen.

When the young woman managing the till greeted her with the same fake courteousness and empty smile that all retail drones practised so thoroughly she simply turned her phones screen towards the woman displaying the character for the number 4 on the screen, to indicate the table she had been sitting at. The waitress maning the register simply continued on in that same empty, bubbly and feigned tone of consideration as she ran up the 1900 yen for the coffee and parfait. For a moment Shiori's eye twitched at the thought she was going to get charged full price despite taking only a bland coffee. Whether the girl attending her noticed that or not, she did adjust the price with some kind of discount code to half off but even so 950 for just that cup of coffee was a ripoff.

Shiori took a deep breath, not worth getting upset over, she reminded herself as she nodded and swiped her mobile across a pad on the counter in front of her. With just that motion she paid for her drink with her mobile wallet. Right after she turned up the volume on her earbuds to drown out the have a nice day or whatever that was going to follow and turned her back on the cafe's staff and walked towards the door. She didn't see the little red head that had been talking on her mobile phone anymore, she had probably finished her call and left by now. Good riddance.

At least that's what she thought until she passed out of the cafe doors and ran right into her, nearly tripping over her in the process. Shiori managed to stay on her feet however after 2 unbalanced passes though she said nothing, the gritted teeth and angry look flashed the girls way spoke volumes. Her fingers angrily tapped on the smartphone screen as she turned the gleaming device towards the girl. the screen reading:

[ Who stops right in front of a doorway, idiot! ]

Now bored with scrolling through what was going on back home, Ezra needed a bit of a break from all of that. Setting down his phone, he had forgotten he had a pastry waiting on his plate. Breaking off a piece, he tossed it into his mouth to give it a taste. After a few confused and somewhat disgusted chews, he took a napkin and spat the crap out. "Ugh! That was atrocious, last time I try something new." He expressed out loud while using his boba tea to wash it down.

Thankfully, the tea was at least alright, so this venture here was not a complete waste. Either way, he wishes he didn't waste any money on whatever crap he just tasted. Giving a bit of a sigh, he went back to looking at his phone, as he now had needed to pull up a map to find his hotel. Luckily, he had already scheduled a room before coming here, but now he had to find the damn place, which meant he would have to walk around in the heat.

Fucking Japanese... I swear, if this woman had wanted me to go to a place like this, she could have reached into those pockets of hers and pay for a couple of classes. For fuck sakes, who sends their kid to a place that speaks an entirely different language? Just because the school had different translators, sure as hell does not mean the entire fucking city does. Ezra thought to himself while referring to his mom.

Giving a bit of a roll of his eyes, he figured he could at least just follow the arrow on the screen. From the looks of it, the place was close to where he was, so it wouldn't have been that difficult to get to. Besides, he wasn't going to keep walking around with a bag of his clothes, he didn't know what any of these filthy bastards were like around here. "Should head out." He expressed before finishing the rest of his boba tea.

Raising out of his seat, he took the strap from his bag and place it over his shoulder. Just as he was leaving, He was stopped by the sweaty chick and the weird chicks, who were currently blocking the door. "For fuck sakes, if you two are going to have a cat fake, take the crap to the sidewalks.." Ezra spoke out loud, feeling they couldn't understand him anyway, that was at least one pro to living in this place.

Leng was clearly expecting the day to be peaceful, full of happiness, with no trouble ensuing. But unfortunately, that often happens to her and she has to deal with it almost every single day. Bumping into people and then ending up having them become irritated at her. What did the Da-Xia do to the world to suffer from such a curse? The same thing would happen as she walks out the door of the cafe, but before she could even take a single step further outside, a certain someone runs into her as the young girl almost ends up tripping as well, taking a couple of staggering steps forwards and then hastily turning around to notice it was indeed the seemingly silent cyborg girl, written on her smartphone something that caught Leng out of surprise. After a light blink, she just takes another small step away whilst looking quite nervous. She didn't really want to cause any problems, especially with someone that looked like she could send her to the hospital in seconds.

"I, uh... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, I sw--"

But she was interrupted in her apology by another Englishman! Just how many of them are in the city? It is all really odd to her, but well, Tokyo was pretty famous worldwide, that's a fact. Especially Akihabara. Once more, it was hard for the teenager to understand as she takes another step back, hopefully the guy around her age being able to distract the older female and allowing the red-haired youngster to just flee away. One thing was certain... Both were angry at her. Like always, making people stressed! Leng indeed had a curse.

Well at least she had the sense to apologise. That was something at least, perhaps this one wasn't so bad. It almost made Shiori feel like maybe she was being to harsh on the girl. She nodded understandingly at the girl's polite attempt at an apology. It didn't escape Shiori's notice though that the smaller, if not necessarily younger by that measure alone, girl was looking at her nervously. She was well aware of the fact she had that sort of effect on people even when she wasn't particularly as annoyed as she was feeling right now.

She was already typing up a response on her phone when someone who obviously didn't get the memo decided to make beef. Well in Shiori's case it might have been justified for her to get on the girls case, she had tripped over her the moment she left the cafe after all. The keywords there being Tripped. Neither of them was standing directly in front of the door anymore when this wad of human refuge came out so what he was getting his panties in a twist over was anyone's guess.

Yeah she remembered this guy.. She'd seen him sitting there all by his lonesome in the cafe. Being all doom and gloomy with his fancy... ohh so delicious looking order. What she wouldn't have given for that sort of treat. No, no this is not the time to get off topic Shiori. Focus! Gritting her teeth in angry fashion she held out the half typed message on her phone screen towards the girl.

[It's fine, don't worry abo-]

Before turning towards the newly arrived man with an angry glare. Her narrowed eyebrows, gritted teeth, narrowed lips and general body language obviously conveyed the sense she was pissed. However none of that was quite as effective as the shiny metal middle finger she was flipping him as she was deftly typing up a new message on her phone with her left hand. A fraction of a second that too was turned his way along with a contemptuous smile. The screen read the following insulting message.

[Piss off, Shit drip. Sidewalk would have been more then big enough if you weren't just stuffing your face. Get lost, fatty!]

Ezra was fully aware of there being some room for him to get past the two, but at the same time, that seemed to be a bit much for him. Besides, why try and slip past someone who was clearly blocking the way in the first place? Nonetheless, you can say that he was a bit peeved at the moment. Here he was in a place where he had hoped to enjoy himself, only to have to deal with crap weather and this kind of crap in front of him. Honestly, he would have done better staying in Tatooin, or whatever that place was called.

Giving a bit of a sigh, a part of him was still annoyed by how dreadful the pastry he had bought back at his table. While the boba tea was scrummy, whatever that pastry was, surely was not. To top it off, now he had to deal with a pair of tossers that couldn't even walk properly enough through a door without blocking the way completely. Let's forget the fact that one of them look both bigger and taller than Ezra himself. He had no idea what this creature was, but it didn't look, human, not to him at least.

As he waited for them to move some more, he had noticed the girl in front showing a sign of fear. Not taking long to figure out why he wouldn't blame her for being scared of this amazonian beast towering over her. By the looks of it, the dumb broad had to be young, so she obviously didn't know any better, not that it mattered anyway. At the very least, he knew that an issue could come from the bigger one of the two, just by the way she came off at the moment.

Of course, these suspicions were proven to be true when he noticed the bastard typing on her phone while flipping him off at the same time. Looking in different directions, he really had to figure out who it was she was flipping off, there was no way it could have been him? Did this girl know who Ezra was? She must not, given what was said now, something that he had to basically read off of a phone. "I know this big bird looking freak did not just call me a shit drip? Oh, someone must not know who in the hell she is messing with." He spoke out loud with a bit of an annoyed expression. "Fatty? Fatty, really? Have you seen yourself? You look like a deformed amazonian beast, a hell of a lot bigger than me, disrespectful bellend."

It was a relief, that at least the cyborg woman understood her apologies, but such thing didn't happen to the other, a man clearly taller than her, but that was surprisingly enough the same age. Little did Leng know that though! But that didn't matter for the case. The Da-Xia wanted to leave, not clearly desiring to participate in the whole commotion. Something couldn't be helped. The red-haired teenager felt like perhaps the male in the whole thing was being a bit too rash, even though it was mostly the female one that had started the whole thing with the insults.

Leng just decided to stay there, but still taking a few steps away from the whole event, not wanting to have to deal with maybe people that actually possessed strong quirks, just like her. Who knows if she could get hit by one of them even when keeping a distance! Everything could happen at that moment and she had to be ready for it, though, no guard was taken. She just kept the somewhat nervous or more so anxious expression, scratching at her cheek almost skeptically, having really no idea what to do at that moment.

"Uh... Maybe we should just c-calm down, no? It isn't really the right time for fights... Right? Mnh..." She spoke. Hopefully the apparent Englishman could understand Japanese!

Shiori was at the end of what was turning out to be a particularly short fuse day. Well one could hardly blame her, she was still hungry and still tired. In fact about the only thing that the stay at this café had gained her was a moments reprieve from reality by drowning her troubles in her art. Maybe that could have been enough, but nobody managed to fill any voids with a mediocre lukewarm coffee without a parfait. Or paying almost a thousand yen for that sad excuse of a beverage. That is how she now found herself outside, with a lighter wallet and a heavier heart.

So naturally picking a fight was a good way to relieve one's stress about life, about this stupid ridiculous diet. Yeah mostly the later part! To someone to whom eating sugary treats was half the reason to get up in the morning it might seem like picking a fight with 'the guy' was a great idea. You know the type, the guy who you just spend several minutes staring at while they were eating delicious cake and drinking quirky beverages. Yep, fighting 'the guy' was probably the next best thing to being able to kick the very concept of a diet in the butt!

It doesn't really even matter who the guy is, as Ezra quite clearly experienced. Wait come to think of it wasn't that very clearly describing just him right now?! Ofcourse she didn't know who he, was, nor did she really care. He was the enemy! The meatbolically gifted who could eat what they want and never get even a little bit pudgy. It didn't seem like either of them had even taken notice of the fact that leng was trying to stop the fighting before it started. The two much taller people throwing... or showing insults as might be the case did not seem to even notice.

Shiori had threateningly taken a step forwards as Ezra had begun cussing her out. This was totally going to turn into a brawl any second now. Except it didn't. One could almost see Shiori deflate as he pushed the exact buttons that fed her own insecurities. If words could kill, then he had just stumbled straight over the large girl's Kryptonite. She had her fist already raised when he hit her with that most well chosen of insults.

'Fatty? Fatty, really? Have you seen yourself? yourself.. yourself ... yourself...' her fist trembled at that single well chosen barb. A most excellent retort that shattered what little self confidence she had and crushed whatever spirit of defiance she had managed to build up. But no the Brit was not stopping there. He took it one step further and the corners of her mouth twitched as she bit down on her lip. He was far from done in fact, in that annoyingly superior tone of voice, with that accent so well crafted to put force to further insults.

'You look like a deformed amazonian beast, a hell of a lot bigger than me.. bigger then me ... bigger then me...' the rest didn't even matter. that single verbal blow had crushed all opposition. Her eyes watered and from the corner of her dark and inhuman eyes the tears streamed silently down her cheeks. She lowered her fist in utter defeat before a single punch was thrown. Instead she raised her regular hand to wipe the tears from her cheeks, and turned around to run away. The only response left after such a shameful battle of wills resulted in her utter destruction.

Ezra felt pretty good about his comeback to the tall slag in front of him. While the girl's insults weren't something that he would usually get work up over, the girl had a bitchy attitude and had to be put in her place. Besides, no one comes for Ezra Collins and gets away it. No matter if it was male or female, no one was safe from him, rather that meant verbally or physically for that matter. Nonetheless, the girl probably had learned her lesson. At the same time, judging by the bitchy attitude she had, there was no chance she was going to back down without trying to get back at him, even though all she could do was type crap on a phone.

After waiting a couple of seconds, Ezra began to notice something a bit off. For one, the girl no longer had the bitchy expression that she had before. No, she looks dead or sad, Ezra could rarely tell the difference these days. Confused as to what in the hell was wrong, he stood there in wait for her to do something, but nothing happened. After a bit of time had pass, tears began to roll down her cheeks as she looks to have been crying. Shocked by this, Ezra look around a bit to see if anyone was looking at this. Someone had to have had the same reaction as him, right? The fact that she was hurling insults at him one second and now crying the second was fucking ridiculous.

What in the bloody hell is going home? This girl can not be serious right now. Complete and utter bollocks, I did nothing wrong in this situation. For fuck sakes, this tosser must have lost the plot, because if she thinks this crap is going to make me sympathize or be apologetic, she has another thing coming. Ezra thought to himself while standing firm on his decision to not do a got damn thing.

It wasn't long before she took off on her feet, running off crying like some little pubescent child. Giving a sigh of annoyance, he scratched his head in disbelief as he moved over to a wall near the shop. With his bag still strapped across his chest, he had to give a bit of a chuckle at what just happened. Not long before said chuckle riled the ire of some broad who was watching the entire thing. From the look of it, the woman was middle-aged and Japanese, but she also looks to have been fluent in English, just Ezra's luck.

"That was horrible and despicable to say to a young lady. Do you have any idea how insecure girls that age can be? For you to sit there and say such a thing is cruel and inhumane. Your mother should be ashamed, ASHAMED!" The lady expressed while wagging her finger around or whatever.

Giving a roll of his eyes, Ezra really did not have any patience for some old broad who was lost in the plot. Obviously, she was unaware of the shit the girl said about him first, a bunch of tossers in his books, all of them. "Excuse me!? For one, you don't know what shit she said about me first, so how about you sod off somewhere, go wash your dried up fanny, and bother someone else, ya prick. Also, I'm not sitting, I'm standing you daft bimbo." Ezra shot back with the same amount of fury. He couldn't believe how easy a girl crying could become some big feminist bullshit propaganda, for fuck sakes.

Leng just stood there, watching the whole situation, still slowly taking steps away as she clearly didn't want to get in trouble. Matter of fact, she was already forgetting about the tasks that were given to her by her grandmother, she had to go to the shop as quick as possible! But the situation was getting more and more tense, plus, after the cyborg-looking girl accepted her apologies and was pretty nice for her, even if briefly, the Da-Xia couldn't just run away and abandon her while she was apparently dealing with a certain bad mouthed Englishman. Certainly, he didn't understand Japanese, such as why he wasn't probably paying any attention to her, or was she way too short for that? Perhaps the latter was the case.

Either way, something happens that took her back immediately. She felt like she almost heard crying sounds and the look of surprise in the man's face could explain all of it. Was the woman really crying? Leng just hoped that she wasn't, or the situation would probably grow even worse and she had to force herself to stay there even longer to see if she could soothe things out. But it was impossible. What would a girl like her that barely knows how to speak English be able to take care of such an intense event? And that was when it all happened.

Suddenly, her eyes widen in an abrupt blink as the older female turns on her heels and goes for a sprint away from the area. She took note of her face for just that quick moment and somehow, instinctively, with the heroic mindset of hers, she couldn't just watch it all ensue and decided to stand in front of her, placing her hands over the cyborg-looking woman's hips and just attempting to stop her. Though, she was quite strong, it seemed and certainly heavier than her, but the Da-Xia just hoped she could listen. Her gaze demonstrates worry as she looks up and clearly, she's ready for some sort of consolation.

"Hey... I... I think I never got your name, but... You don't really need to care about what other people say or how they insult you... Those kinds of people shouldn't really deserve any kind of treatment, just ignorance... Hey... What about you come to the shop with me? I need to buy some stuff for my granny and maybe we can talk about this... Please? You really seem like a nice person and... I... I'm willing to be friends with you and stuff, you know? Please... Just ignore him; you don't need to pay any attention to that man."

She obviously almost whispered, keeping the tone low as she didn't want the other man still by the shop listening. She also threw a hopeful, but at the same time gentle expression at the cyborg woman, hoping she would understand the innocent words of a simple teenager.

Stupid jerk! Everyone in the world was an egotistical jerk deep down and she knew that but with some people you didn't have to dig all that deep to get to the spoiled rotten core. Of course she was conveniently forgetting that she herself had started the hostilities in this particular instance. However she was in no state of mind for such a lucid thought. In fact she was in complete emotional turmoil over the things he had said. Damn that guy, she already knew she was tall and big and not the most attractive looking girl to begin with but he picked out and tore apart every single insecurity she already had with vicious precision.

So with her emotions clouding her judgement her body reacted in the most basic of instinctual responses to his provocations: Flight. Her eyes were tearing up and rubbing them away with her hand did little to improve her field of vision so for a moment it was bewildering to find that something was impeding her flight away from the source of her emotional torment. For a moment she did not know what to make of the fact that something was stopping her from running away and that she couldn't see exactly WHAT. After all she was not someone that was easily halted in her tracks.

So one might imagine her amazement to see the small little girl clutching her around her thighs. The sight was so intensely comical that for a moment she was so shocked that she forgot why she was crying in the first place. After a few moments though the realisation that someone was firmly embracing her was quite as unsettling as the insults hurled at her earlier. Most people did not like to be touched by other's to begin with, but for Shiori there was an added barrier to physical contact that made this hug all the more of an inconvenience for her.

So one might expect that someone who had nought but bad memories about being touched for most of their lives would struggle quite adamantly against being held so closely by someone else. That is if they had not long since learned that resisting made things worse. Shiori thus was standing frozen in her tracks.. At this point it was not the smaller girls strength holding her back, but the conditioned apathy that she had learned was the best resort to take against people touching you against your will. Surely Leng meant it more positively then most of her past experiences but to Shiori, receiving actual kindness without any ulterior motives was an experience so alien that she had no idea how to behave.

Even so the girl's whispered words made her mind wander back to a memory, old and burried amongst years of much more terrible ones. A memory about being held like that, with nought but kindness once before, a long long time ago. Something about that faded memory and the smile of someone she barely remembered lingering before her minds eye filled her with something she had not felt in years. In fact she wasn't even sure if that was really a memory rather then some kind of long held ideal desire that never existed in the world. This.. she supposed was what a mother would be like.

The thought itself surprised her, she had not had such naïeve thoughts in years. She did not remember her mother at all though maybe.. maybe that was the face she had recalled so indistinctly just now. She felt a sickening wave of sadness well up from somewhere deep inside herself. A flood of emotions was coming up from a place that she had not connected to in a very long time and the intensity of her feelings took her by complete surprise. She sank to her knees as even the strength to keep standing left her entirely. She leaned towards Leng and rested her head against the smaller girls shoulder. Her hands both the metallic one and the real one hung powerless on the ground next to her knees. The tears flowing freely down her face but even then not a sound passed her lips.
