General Appearance: Sabine's mixed ancestry is evident on an immediate appraisal, her skin darker than her mother's, but much lighter than her father's; her mother's blue eyes and hair, the shade for which came from her father. Her appearance beyond that, however, is much her own, a healthy, somewhat curvy figure for a young woman her age, though not an especially athletic one, as she does somewhat lack for muscle tone. It would not be especially difficult to guess - correctly - that she has not really worked a day in her life prior to her arrival in Japan.
| Clothing: Sabine's upbringing, and her own sense of taste, has left her with a preference for fairly feminine styles of attire - that she really only has a couple dresses in her entire possession right now not withstanding, chiefly white in colour and going halfway down her thigh.
| Personality: At first glance, and indeed to some actual extent, Sabine is not an especially out of the ordinary young woman, in that she has a complete and complex set of emotions and thoughts that are dependent on the situation she finds herself in. To friends, colleagues, and those she respects, she projects a warm and friendly tone much of the time, whilst strangers and the unfamiliar will get little more than dry courtesy and an uncomfortable stare, though she tends to warm up quickly if there's enough of a conversation going. Stuck in a foreign land that she has not entirely prepared for, she can be confused by certain customs and cultural norms, making minor errors or mis-assumptions with relative ease, though she rarely means any real harm in her ignorance. But she is quite curious about the world beyond her home, both in terms of lands and the people that live there, sating such curiosities in a fashion that some might consider a little... stalker-ish really, but that she sees little issues in.
Such is the smallest hint of her less ordinary aspects, the kind that make her ultimately willing to lead a life of villainy. Chief among them is that Sabine does not possess a base level of empathy for other human beings that most others might. It is solely through personal experience and investment in an individual that she may end up showing concern for their wellbeing or their comfort, and even then, much of how she responds is learned and theoretical - showing concern because she understands that such is what people are meant to do, not because she herself actually feels concerned. This makes it incredibly easy for her to not only rationalise invasions of private space, asking deeply personal questions, or choosing cruel but efficient options, but also to lie, cheat, steal, threaten, and perhaps yes, murder if need be, in the name of her own interests and desires.
Sabine is not a sadist however, or at least, unless she thinks she needs to be. She doesn't delight in mere cruelty - certain kinds perhaps, but in a way that is not too different from how the average person can, where a video game will let one severe heads, but the same person would be repulsed at such a reality. Not that Sabine would be repulsed, due to her difficulties with empathy, but nor would she be thrilled by the prospect. But she understands that people can be coerced by perception, and is willing to manipulate that, whether its fear, friendliness, flirtation, or fortitude, playing any such part up to a given extent. Past that extent, her expressiveness quickly reverts, as she seeks simply to act on whatever needs, or that she wants, to be done. She becomes as cold externally as she often is internally, distant, quiet, and above all unflappably neutral.
| Quote(s): "Really, its not that hard to see why people do it..."

History:
History: Many are driven to villainy for reasons that are tragic, perhaps sympathetic. Some need or want something they cannot have, whether food to survive or revenge against those that have wronged them, while others are driven by high ideals twisted into malicious form. But for Sabine? Its simply business. The family business.
Born in her father's native Douala, Sabine grew up initially unawares of her peculiar ancestry, not surprising given that she was rather unable to comprehend it as a mere babe. In youth, she still largely lived her life not knowing exactly how her family made its fortune, especially given how much free time her parents typically had to spend with her, and ensure she never used her quirk in public. On those rare days and nights where one, the other, or both were out, she sometimes noticed the odd tendency of the news to cover some heist or villain attack in progress, but it wasn't until she was eight that she began to suspect the correlation as a connection. Could it really be that her parents... were Villains?
Whilst she had the question linger in her mind, for many years, Sabine didn't wish to ask it. Her family had kept it secret it from her for some reason or another, and given how clearly they cared for her, she sought to respect their wishes, and not let on that she knew. Such was a struggle however, because she also wanted to know more. How they really came together, what their quirks - the ones they so often claimed to not possess - were, and how it was they had evaded the law for so long. For those particular questions, the answers were: In French prison; gas generation and armoured scales for her father and mother respectively; fleeing to a country that didn't quite have the same infrastructure in terms of superpowered crimefighting to really stop them. But there were many more that had to be answered, and Sabine found those answers as well, gradually building a personal database of her parents' illegal activities over a lifetime. Coming to understand how much they had stolen, spent, and simply done with their lives.
Sabine grew to be impressed.
Eventually, came her sixteenth birthday. A momentous occasion for sure, and as usual for the family, a large celebration was had. But after the party had ended, Sabine confronted her parents, revealing all that she come to know. All of it, that she could release in an instant to the police, bringing down the hammer of justice that had failed to strike them for so long. Unless, of course... They let her have her chance to be a Villain. Sabine's parents were initially surprised, but they grew to be impressed. So impressed that they willing acquiesced to their daughter's demands, telling her they would support her wherever she wanted to go. Their convictions wavered just ever so slightly though, when she revealed she wanted to go to the very heart of Herodom: Japan. Why? Because while her parents had been able to remain free by virtue of living so far from such challenges, Sabine intended to overcome it, besting her parents but also achieving a potential level of power and infamy that they never could.
So, they sent her off to the land of the rising sun, having packed everything she could ever need... or so they claimed. Because while they were thrilled to see their daughter getting into the business, and they were impressed with how she had threatened them, they were still parents who weren't about to just let insubordination of that sort go unpunished. So to Sabine's surprise, but even genuine shock, she opened her suitcase to find little beyond a few spare clothes, while all the useful things she had intended to smuggle into the country - weapons, a suit, fake IDs and all the like - had somehow disappeared in the flight, along with her parents. In their place, was but a single note, telling her that if she wished to make it to the top, she was going to have to start from the absolute bottom.
So be it then.

Name: Adelle Age: Unknown. Quirkless A strange, blue, black and white squirrel(?) that Sabine received for her most recent birthday. All around fluffy and cute, it serves as Sabine's only companion in a foreign land, apparently able to understand and act upon human speech, with its behaviours straddling the line between sapience and animal instinct. Though quirkless, it may well have been subjected to the effects of one.
Including control, this NPC has E+ in all stats. They automatically lose to PCs if brought into a fight. T5’s may also be custom claimed, or even regular claimed, by them.
| | Foddermen | 1 Point | This enhancement allots 10, statless, one-hit KO’d, mooks. Once per thread however, a single mook may be granted E+ stats all around. | Techniques |
|---|
Hydrogen (D) T.P Cost: Free Limit Cost: 10 Type: Blueprint Range: Short Stats: N/A
| Description: The most basic element in all the universe, and thus the easiest gas for Sabine to produce. Hydrogen is highly flammable, and odourless, able to react and form compounds with a variety of other substances. Naturally colourless, when produced by Sabine it takes on a faded white colour - like cold breath.
| Nitrogen (D) T.P Cost: Free Limit Cost: 10 Type: Blueprint Range: Short Stats: N/A
| Description: The most common gas in Earth's atmosphere, utterly odourless. Chemically inert, large quantities can displace oxygen, choking mechanical processes that rely on such - including human breathing. Naturally colourless, when produced by Sabine it takes on a sky blue colour, difficult to spot on a cloudless day, but sticking out against most other surroundings.
| Oxygen (D) T.P Cost: Free Limit Cost: 10 Type: Blueprint Range: Short Stats: N/A
| Description: The fuel of human life, and the most abundant element in the earth's crust - albeit not in its pure state. Odourless, it can react with numerous substances in numerous states, and does not deplete Sabine's existing oxygen supply. Naturally colourless, when produced by Sabine it takes on a red colour, bringing new meaning to the phrase 'red mist'.
| Water Vapour (D) T.P Cost: 5 Limit Cost: 10 Type: Debuff/Defensive Range: Short Stats: -1 Accuracy
| Description: Fusing oxygen and hydrogen atoms in her lungs, Sabine is able to create water vapour - in other words, mist and clouds - that she can spew to hide her obscure her immediate location, and lower general visibility.
| Chlorine (D) T.P Cost: 5 Limit Cost: 10 Type: Blueprint Range: Short Stats: -1 Stamina
| Description: A double edged sword of a gas, necessary to all life, but dangerous in high concentrations. It reacts with moisture, and so burns the eyes and throats in particular, though Sabine's base levels can't match the horrors of a true chemical weapon, being more of a particular irritant. When produced by Sabine it emerges as a stark, yellow cloud.
| Fluorine (C) T.P Cost: 10 Limit Cost: 15 Type: Offensive Range: Medium Stats: -
| Description: The thirteenth most abundant element on Earth, most often existing in compounds with other substances. This is because fluorine is highly reactive, igniting many substances - even those that are normally flame resistant - on contact. To that end, Sabine unleashes it in a concentrated stream of sickly green gas as a potent flamethrower - even worse, the stench is horrific!
| Gust (C) T.P Cost: 10 Limit Cost: 15 Type: Defense Range: Short (But Similarly Wide) Stats: -
| Description: Unleashing a high pressure volume of air from her third lung, Sabine creates what can be roughly be described as a barrier of wind, with which she can deter projectiles of C-rank strength or below. It is a short lived burst, but its width can protect both herself and associates from harm.
| Name (Rank) T.P Cost: How much TP. Limit Cost: How many points it costs. Type: offensive, defensive, support those kind of things Range: Touch, Short,Medium, Long. Stats: Does it change any stats, de-buff, buff.
