Keep striving to be noticed.

It was one of the pieces of advice she had received for school evaluations, but the meaning was something she struggled to fully understand, alongside the other two.

On the surface, the advice was telling her to be more confident. While she already did have a great deal of that in general, there were certain parts in life, where that side of her didn't shine. Though what she was thinking, might have been the complete opposite.

Because it didn't make much sense at all, for Pew Pew Sensei to advise that she go on the path of vigilantism. Not like those delinquents, who she always had to round up, and get to attend class. So he must have meant other, more legal parts of her life.

Which meant actively helping recent damages from crimes.

A bit of a fight had broke out earlier, resulting in the collapse of a wall, and the smashed furniture that had been on that side. There was still crosstape around the vicinity, while she and a couple of lesser-known environmental heroes worked on cleaning the area.

People were walking pass the scene, carrying out their daily business as usual. Although some stopped to take pictures, or talk to her temporary co-workers, stopping progress.

She slightly frowned, but didn't say anything, knowing that she would likely be in the same position, if it were one of her heroes. Still, you'd think they'd offer help.

"Kid. You know I think it's a great thing you're doing here."

Detective Yamada, who was covered head to toe in winter gear, had spoke to her, after looking up from his notepad. It was almost hard to believe he could really focus, wearing something that would normally cause a person to pass out.

"Thanks, but you don't need to cheer me up."

She did her best to smile, though couldn't really bring herself to put on anything but a slight frown. At least, until all of this work was over anyway.

"Excluding this, how's work been?"

If he was wearing that kind of attire, it was likely it had to do something with his quirk. Though what, she wasn't exactly sure of. Temperature one wouldn't make sense, namely because of the pair of sunglasses he had going on. Which were ordinary, and not optical.

"The usual. Any noise complaint made, and they have me running over to deal with it."

So delinquents then.

The sounds of static and a beep came from the man, which he picked up.

"Whatever it is, I'm on my way."

He sighed after hanging up the walkie talkie, before turning to her, and patting her shoulder. Not really the kind of goodbye she wanted from a professional.

"I've gotta go. Keep up the good work, alright?"

And he was off.

What a nice day it was! The sun was out, the stars were put away, and all the people walking around Tokyo were squished against him per usual. The boy wasn't doing anything productive with his time due to his day being off at the manga shop. Weirdly enough, Caleb was actually looking forward to digging into some hero work from his dollar store mask being on-providing him with a Clark Kent kind of Ails. This terrible way of trying to hide his identity was even more horrendous when you take in the fact that he always wore the same uniform every single day, and it never changed one bit.
All that aside, he happened to stroll by what looked like a crime scene. That or someone doesn't know how to properly redecorate a building. Busy eyeing up the people taking photo's and talking to their friends he bumped into some guy wearing the strangest shit he'd ever seen anyone wear when summer was just kicking in, meaning this guy was either once of those cool tempo quirk users or a loonie that liked crashing into little kid's.
In all honesty, he didn't mind a bit when he got crashed into, brushing it off like it never occurred on his way over to the yellow tape. Normally he wouldn't cross over these kind of boundaries, but since he was a hero now, he guessed he had a bit of a free pass. Hopping over the tape, he walked over with his usual "I don't give a fuck" swagger, and stopped before a person that looked like they knew whatever the hell was going on here.

"I don't necessarily do this all the time but, you look like shit. What are you guy's supposed to be doing here? "

He titled his head lazily, thinking not to give away how apathetic he was.

Didn't sound like he really did much.

But in the city where The Spectrum was active, and most people didn't have outstanding quirks, that was only natural. Couldn't really compete against that sort of best.

She had gone back to work, no sooner after the detective had given his farewell, and lifted the wood she was carrying, over to one of the other workers. The plan was to take the wooden parts of the broken furniture, and reshape it into a proper wooden log.

Everything else, like bricks and picture frames, were lined up similarly. And in the end, everything would we be wrapped, and shipped off somewhere.

It was truly the epitome of volunteer work.

For her, at least. The other workers were just doing their jobs as environmentalist heroes. A couple of construction heroes were expected to show up later to fix the hole in the wall.

"They're doing their job, I'm doing volunteer work, based on the advice I got from evaluations."

She had answered for her co-workers, which upon giving them a glance, seemed to be wrapping up their chat with fans and curious on-lookers.

This boy's rather blunt attitude, really wasn't anything new she hadn't dealt with before. And long as he wasn't stupid enough to cause trouble around officials, she didn't see a problem with him being around. Though she rather he did something useful, than just chat.

But that was wishful thinking.
Somewhere within the city, the cause of the disturbance report the detective had received, were all huddled around in an alleyway. There were about four individuals in total, dressed in the kind of attire one would expect a disturbance report would be needed.

The leader of the group stood in front of the wall, where he shook up a can of spray paint, tagging some graffiti along the wall in their insignia, which laid next to a mural.

These were just one of several they had already done today, with each one depicting an intense moment of a recent crime. In this case, it was a hero using a quirk that gave him control over wind, and blasting away some villain trying to get famous.

With the work finished, they dashed off and out of the alleyway, the leader and the other three, tossing their can of spray paint to random civilians.

Some managed to catch them, but a majority either ducked, or got hit. The group didn't even look back as they disappeared elsewhere into the city, although their presence could be heard, from all the surprised outcries they elicited, with their skating tricks.

Tilting his head back to it's natural position, his eyes wandered from the seemingly dull girl to glance to each one of the heroes helping to pick up the pieces of someone else's mess. It was probably some thug around town that was a generic skater kid or some guy that was just angry at one of his side chicks that day. Either way, he knew this all wasn't meant for him, but he also knew that there were bigger fish to fry throughout this day off he had. Not even moving his hands out of his pockets, he leaned cooly in a slanted stance, looking down at the girl that was as cute as she was short. "I would help you out here, believe me I would, but reconstruction isn't really my cup of tea. Mostly due to it always going wrong towards the end. evaluations? No clue what you're talking about there"

His tone was genuine when he spoke to her, saying that he really did wish he could be of use in that shit hole. For the moment, he was busy trying to see if he should just head off or if he should just stay. Her tone didn't really sound whiny enough to stay, and it didn't sound bitchy enough to go, it was just that of acceptance in his eyes. In the midst of turning to skip away, he sighed to turn back around...

"You want some help or what? "

She heard enough.

"Sure, no problem."

While it didn't sound like he was lying, if he didn't want to actually do it, then he was just taking up their space being here. Though there wasn't any need to be rude about it.

For Yuuei, end of the year evaluations hadn't even been that long ago.

The guy wasn't wearing their uniform, though she still would have figured other schools like Shiketsu, would have gotten theirs by now, regardless of what kind of student you were.

"Nevermind."

But explaining it wasn't important. He was going to leave anyway, and likely had somewhere else to be. With her answer given, she had already gone back to work.

It wasn't intentional, but there was a bit more pressure than normal, when she had handed over more material she had stacked up, over to her co-workers.

While she had no issues with being able to lift her own body weight, being one of the few who hadn't been chatting with civilians, allowed her to get more work done.

So exhaustion in that exchange, had been inevitable.

"Sorry. Kinda tired."

"Maybe you should take a break."

To be told this by someone who had been doing just that, was pretty odd to say the least. Lesser known environmental hero or not, she was expecting more professionalism.

"Thanks, but I'll be fine."

A slight frown briefly crossed her face, before being replaced with just an eyebrow raised, as she saw the boy come back. Hearing his offer though, she turned back, giving the closed-off area a scope around. It really wasn't even a difficult decision.

They still needed help lugging the materials into those crates, once they were reshaped. She just didn't want him to see her relieved that someone her age was willing to do this.

"We do. It's mostly just bringing the materials there, then putting it in there."

She pointed over to one of the environmental heroes, who was clearly reshaping broken wood and other material, then over to the open crates that were nearby.

Pretty easy job.

It was really just the wait for these things to be reshaped, that made this work feel longer than it actually was. With the others not chatting away, they should be finished in an hour.

Going over to the cooler, which was left against the wall of the building, she took out a water bottle, and took a sip. This was really what she needed.

Least she was the straightforward type and didn't lead him on a wild tsundere goose chase for the answer, she seemed pretty calm and cool to him in a "I'm gonna grow up to be one of those super busy moms" way. Least it was a straightforward type of job, take the materiel's that get reshaped by the punks with the pussy quirks(What his father called them anyway) to the create for an hour tops.

"Sounds like a blast"

He replied, having the heavy sarcasm just leak out of his throat, something that was bound to have him avoided at all cost by the workers that would glance over to the two. Well, the one. The girl left to go take her lunch break or...Water break...Leaving caleb to the work that he didn't want to do, but just had to do. All living things contain a measure of madness that moves them in strange, sometimes inexplicable ways. Least that's what was going on with the vapist in this thread, and what was a quote from the life of pi. By the time he arrived where the environmental dude was reshaping the snapped wood and other stuff it was complete, leaving him no other choice than to pick up all of the reshaped bit's he could hold onto, and walk over to dump it off in a create that was partially done. A process that was repeated a multitude of times while he was in all of the other heroes presence, earning him nothing in return but a clear conscience.

Maybe he wasn't such a bad kid after all. Maybe caleb was just a fatally misunderstood teenager, but what teenagers weren't? Couldn't throw a pity party about it, not that he had anyone to invite to that. Most he could focus on were gathering these things up to place them where they were supposed to go and ask a bit of questions.

"So, what school you go to?" he shouted towards the girl " You look like a freshmen, guess that would explain why I haven't seen you around. "

It wasn't interesting work.

But unless you spent the time talking, volunteer work never was. She had no issues with doing both, but focusing completely on one thing, was usually easier than two.

Even during school, she was the same way.

No matter what assignment she received, or who she worked with, the task at hand was usually more important to her, than something like talking about seeing a movie.

She liked to think that it was reasonable, seeing as how school was a place of learning. Though if there was one thing her friends liked reminding her of, it was to take it easy.

But that was easier said than done.

Her water break, besides quenching her thirst, was merely just supposed to be a gauge of how the others were doing. For a moment, it had felt like she was a supervisor.

Being one to like leading, the feeling was nice. Though looking around at everyone else working, especially the guy who came back, she couldn't help but resume work.

The professionals might have been fine spending a portion of their time talking earlier, but they had more experience than she did, doing something like this.

That alone made their actions well deserved, regardless of whether or not she really agreed. Beyond trying to get things finished up, she was more preoccupied hefting the materials up, than thinking about lessening the load of a co-worker.

Whatever seemed to be a surplus, was grabbed by her, and given to the hero who would reshape the material. Occasionally, she spotted that guy doing his part, and certainly more than she expected him to actually do, judging him by his earlier comment.

The attitude he gave off, wasn't really the vibe that he was a helpful sort. It was one thing she needed to work on, based on the advice she received from evaluations.

Take an avid interest in self improvement.

If there was anything not judging a book by it's cover would be filed under, it would be this piece of advice. Her usual belief of what people were like, based on their appearances, needed to be given the benefit of the doubt. Like with her co-workers.

Placing some materials into crates, which were neatly tied up in plastic ties, thanks to a quirk of one of the other heroes, she didn't stop when she heard the guy's voice.

It was pretty obvious he was talking to her.

They were around each other's ages, and while her school allowed even those older than 18 to attend, none of her temporary co-workers here, were still in school.

Of course, she wasn't going to shout her answer.

But she wasn't going to stop working, just to do so either. Which was why instead of helping pack things, she had gone back to lifting the materials, on her way towards him.

"Yuuei. But save for a few people, it's not as snooty as some people might think."

She could have gone on and give her reasons as to why, though talking about how great of a school she thought it was, wasn't exactly something she saw reasonable.

"You've seen the Sports Festival, right? I think that's a good measure of what some of us are like."

Talking about it this way though, didn't count.

(Was supposed to have the whereabouts of the detective explained here, but this was longer than I thought, so I'll save it for next post.)

Look at her go. It was amusing to him; her types that is. The type that you could depend on doing most of the effort in a classroom group project without bit of complaints on some lazy punk's wimpy-albeit nonexistent effort. Then again, most humans were amusing to him in some way or another so, this didn't necessarily count as a compliment.

Lugging a bunch of shit he was never going to see again to a create, he stuffed it full and raised his brow at the sound of a response. It wasn't that he thought she wasn't going to respond, it was that he amused she was gonna talk to him when the job was well over. Turning to his side caleb lowered his brow and narrowed his eyes instead. Should have known someone like this was involved in a uptight snobby bitch feast like Yuuei, she was doing this lackey work because someone told her she should look into it after all. Fit her tidy appearance now that he thought about it.

His interest spiked again when she went on about the festival... Something he spectated but, didn't even know he was until it all was said and done.

"So basically, a bunch of kid's fighting for a organizations amusement. Not everyone there was what i'd expect from that...Great school, but the one's who were, WERE basically leaking the kind of snottiness you claim isn't much there. Least appearance wise. Couldn't tell what any of those...Were you in that? "

That being said, he was done for today. He lugged over a lot more than he saw the other good for nothing "heroes" do. Not only that, but they had to be close to done with this chore already(says the guy that just started working a post ago.). Turning his head from her to the remaining junk... He thought of a pretty important.

"Should I even asked what happened here?"

Things weren't that simple.

The Sports Festival was a world celebrated event, which aimed in showing off the talent schools had, and maybe even be gain the attention of professionals.

To lump it all together as just fighting for people's amusement, true or not, was just degrading the event. And by his comparison, something similar could be said about work.

"Well you're not wrong."

But none of those thoughts left her head.

The work they were doing, was practically finished by now. What reason did she really have, to argue about who was right on the matter? This was the closest she would agree with his sentiment, in a way she still found satisfied her own opinion.

Might not have been much, but it was something at least.

"I was, but the crowd's attention was all on Eve, the girl who could make earthquakes?"

She could feel her cheeks slightly flushing.

Part of the reason was thinking back to how she was in her suit, and shouting out the name of her attacks. It was all part of the idea of striving to be noticed, along with the other advice she received during evaluations, namely her interest in self-improvement.

While the other half of her embarrassment, was the reminder of how many matches she lost. She might not have been the only one, but that did nothing to comfort her.

There were plenty of people she could have named from the Sports Festival, but the crowd's favorite, was one for a reason. The girl was likely the strongest in their year.

And while she was sure there might have been some part of her, which resented the girl for being better, she couldn't exactly dislike her for being qualified for the title.

If there was one thing about being a hero, which she was striving for, it was aiming to be an inspiration for other girls. A mark that Eve had no doubt left since last year, and from the looks of things, was a mark that wouldn't be dying down anytime soon.

"Just the usual hero crashing into a building, cause a villain wants to cause trouble."

She had simply shrugged at his last question, not really seeing anything out of the ordinary, about the crime scene they were helping clean up.

The last of the materials were placed into the crates, which were loaded up and onto a truck by the other heroes. With that done, there wasn't really a reason to stick around for.

Though her eyes still drifted over to the environmentalist hero, who was assigned to this clean up in the first place. He seemed to be checking things over on a clipboard, like what the detective had done earlier. But she doubted he was looking at damage reports.

"Is that everything?"

Most people her age would have probably just left, rather than actually be sure things were taken care of. And if she was going to do volunteer work, then might as well do it right.

"Yeah, seems so. Thanks for the help, kids."

He didn't even look up from the clipboard as he answered, something she wasn't sure whether or not to be upset about. But it was at least better than a pat on the head.

"Thank you for accepting my request. I know you didn't have to, and it really means a lot that you did."

Still, no reason not to walk off without a proper thanks.

While this society they lived in, liked to encourage people to step up and be heroes, even if it was something as small as this, it was sort of an empty gesture.

There was really no reason the man and the crew he was with, couldn't have managed something like this on their own. Their leisure approach earlier, was proof of that.

"Jeez kid, you're leaving me speechless here. I'll give you a heads up if I see ya again, and anything else needs lifting."

Looking up from his clipboard, a hand briefly rubbing the back of his neck, the man had waved her off. Guess flattery was the way to go for his attention.

Nodding, she turned back in the direction where she had left that guy.

"Guess I'll see you around too."
The Detective had long since left to check up on the disturbance report he had received, making his way there as fast as he could on foot. Surprisingly, it didn't seem like it was an issue, despite the long trench coat he wore, along with the other gear he had on.

The only problem seemed to be tracking down the ones causing the disturbance.

There were plenty of signs left around the city that they had been around, with the murals on brick walls, and random civilians being given paint cans.

It was an interesting phenomenon.

Some of the paint cans were empty, but the ones that weren't, seemed to draw in a certain crowd of people, who gathered towards where the murals were.

Having questioned individuals here and there, he found people willingly decorating the walls on their own, regardless of whether or not they seemed to have any talent.

There didn't seem to be any issues with being told to clean it up, and the detective had even found places where people were already doing that on their own accord.

Though what he really noticed the most, were people looking at the originals, and discussing whether or not it was good. This led to comparing to other places where murals were created, and if it was still there or changed.

Almost had him wonder if it was appropriate to continue chasing after them, but the possibilities of a territory war occurring, pushed that thought away.

These skaters had to be detained.

(Whether or not Caleb and Saeko continue to talk is whatever, but they'll bump into each other again either next post, or the one after, just because this sets her off enough to be meddlesome. Skaters will be mentioned again in one of the next few posts.)

She not only agreed with him, but he could see a tiny flare of envy in her tone when she spoke of this eve person. She was pretty impressive, he did see how wild everyone went for her but, personally... It was what he expected from her in the first place. He'd be shocked if she was actually pretty shitty in combat situations. Needless to say, all men weren't born equal in this world anyway, least that's what his old man would say about now... Nothing else to do but overcome your role or except it.

His eyebrow furrowed as his hands slowly slid down his sides into each of his tight pockets. Who could she have possibly been in that shit fest? He couldn't even remember any other girls aside from mia and eve so, who was this girl? Questions aside, the building being wrecked as a result of a hero v a villain was nothing new, causing him to groan on the spot.

Everything was clean now and it was around that time to get to stepping yet caleb found his feet still. He at least wanted to say bye to the kid, wasn't like he had somewhere better to go or lamer to do. When she turned to his direction he started to step towards her in the laziest pacing on earth. Moving his hand from his pants pocket, he paused in place to place the hand on top her head.

"I doubt it, and don't overwork yourself spider chick"

He said without missing a beat, starting to walk towards the yellow tape and duck under it this time around. When he left her his hand softly dragged across her head and entered his pocket yet again. Where was he headed right now? Well... Anywhere was an opinion. So, Anywhere was where his goal was.

(Gonna save the tagging post for later. Maybe next post. Sounds like a plan if they meet up next or the one after.)

The boy had left.

But his goodbye, much like the detective's earlier, was one she didn't like. As a Freshman at Yuuei, aiming to become a professional hero, it was a bit degrading to get something like a pat on the head. Almost made it hard to believe this would go away in time.

Sigh.

The sounds of construction went on behind her, as she left the place behind, going in a different direction than where the boy had gone. Though it wasn't at all intentional.

She had no reason to avoid him, as annoying as his goodbye was. But they really had no reason to follow each other either, since he clearly went to a different school.

Probably lived in some other ward too.

Still, if his comment had the humor it sounded like, then she was at least somewhat happy they didn't seem to be on bad terms. Something that would make another encounter, possibly less focused on work, and more of something fun.

She pulled out her phone, which she wasn't surprised to find had been full of texts for over an hour now. Even when she wasn't hanging out with the blonde and pink-haired girl, the two still tried including her into their conversations anyway.

Scrolling through the messages, from oldest to new, they had began pretty normal.

Skylar liked to obsess about food, and somehow, thanks to Rukia, it led to talking about the latter's acting. Whether or not she could attend a performance was brought up, before the blonde derailed the conversation into something entirely different.

Between quoting the messages, and responding that she hadn't yet read a particular thing, it was difficult not to leave a gap in her response time, from catching up.

Especially while she was walking.

Had to occasionally look up, to avoid bumping into anyone. Of course she could have just called, but after all of that work, she just wanted to be alone for a bit, and not attacked with questions in her ear. Coming down one street, she couldn't help but notice a crowd.

Curious, she came over, barely able to get a peek with her short stature. The thing everyone was looking at, turned out to be a mural, depicting a couple of heroes.

Though the wall had clearly different art tastes, than what the original probably was. She didn't know much about art, but she didn't need to, just to recognize contrasting colors.

"What's going on?"

The closest person next to her, was a girl who looked around her age, and who was clearly chewing on some gum. Not really the ideal person to ask, but she wasn't going to be picky about information on something like this. And it was just to peak her curiosity.

"You haven't heard? Some group is going around tagging walls. The one down in Chiba is better than this."

"Are you kidding? Chiba's mural is trash."

"Oh yeah?"

While the girl did answer, her explanation seemed to elicit anger from someone within the crowd, something that a few others had agreed with. This was something for the police to deal with. Couldn't really go around webbing people for disagreeing.

But what the girl had said interested her.

Someone was going around making murals, and if this crowd was like any of the other ones likely to be in wards like Chiba, then they were starting small riots over art.

It was stupid, but somehow not surprising.

As much as she wanted to ask whether or not the detective had came by, it didn't seem like it was a good time. She would just have to find out on her own.

Glacing out the corner of his bug eye's, he took note of her taking off in a direction opposing his own; and glanced no longer. He definitely wasn't planning on meeting that girl again in his life time, nor was he even expecting her to know him if that did happen for some reason. The real bottom line of it all was that he lived in a different world than most people around him.
Edginess aside, he snapped out of his lifeless daze when he heard the sound of that odd bouns track from resident evil two. You know that awful one that you ask "why is this in the director's cut? They had plenty of time" The one that sounds like a band warming up or individually practicing at the same time. Point was that it was his ring tone for some unexplained reason, but it wasn't something that stopped him from continuing forward. Groaning as he picked up the phone, an annoying groany voice started to leak out of it, one kin to the rebellious teenager.

"Brrrrrrrrrruuuiuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh, tell me you're seeing these murals around tok?"

"Huh?"

"Its gotta be an artistic outbreak man~. Get your spray paint ready and I'll be waiting for you at the old school house. We already hit chiba and a bunch of ot--"

"You really like this organised desecration of public and private property huh?" He interruped just to get a feel for what this delinquent was after.

"Of course I do! This is the ki--"

"That's why I'm going to shit on them"

And with that the voice no longer came, silenced by the push of a button that had a *beep* tailing it.Swiftly rotating and pocketing his cell, his mask never left his face, but you could tell he was feeling fantastic after that conversation. Removing his hands from his pockets, caleb's arms swung. While he ran throughout the city, looking for more murals, and looking for some jet set radio rip offs. Probably running because that acquaintance of his was either in cohoots with them or looking for them at the speed that he was. He wasn't going to let the guy warn them either way but, he prefered the latter option.

Displaying a quirk.

In history books she had read, it was once said that displaying a quirk in public was illegal, and that there were few exceptions to showing it off. Self defense being one of them. But times have changed since then, and people have gotten lazy.

If a person had some kind of speed quirk, or something that allowed them to take flight, what was the issue of saving time, so long as surroundings and limits were adhered to?

Even so, she didn't mind walking or running around. Using too many webs could bring on some protein deficiencies, which wasn't anything she really needed right now.

Especially with this phenomenon going on.

Though she doubted the scale was actually that large, it almost seemed like the notable parts of Tokyo, had an unusual crowd, which were fascinated by the murals.

Some were violent like the first crowd she had saw, while others seemed to be more level-headed about things. One thing she did notice though, were places like bars and several other businesses, likely receiving more patrons than they usually got.

Still, even if there were positives to whatever was going on, there were still the negatives to consider. People were apparently being thrown cans of spray paint, which was an obvious problem. There was also the possibilities of turf wars, dumb as that sounded, happening.

If she didn't know from experience about trends, she would have found it hard to believe.

"Thanks for the help."

From talking with the level-headed fans, she was able to learn what she couldn't earlier. One was that the detective actually was around the city somewhere, chasing after the ones who started this mural. While the other was that this was the cause of skaters.

The info on them wasn't really all too helpful, beyond their hideout being somewhere in Tokyo, and that she would know them when she finally saw them.

Most people would have stopped at this point, and just called it a day, knowing that an official would take care of things. But she wasn't like most people.

If she was capable at all with helping, then she would.
The skater's hideout was pretty typical of a group that didn't get paid for the art they did.

Located in a small warehouse-like building, somewhere in Chiba, the place wasn't all that furnished. There were a couple of speakers, a pinball machine, and the group's own graffiti around the floor and walls. But aside from that, nothing really stood out.

Though with how often the group was outside, it wasn't like it really mattered.

The leader and the other three pulled open the garage, slipping inside with their skates, before closing it behind them, then hopping onto the sofas that were around.

Cans of paint were thrown at the ground, empty and waiting to be refilled.

"Boss, I think the plan's actually working."

Blonde locks stuck out from underneath a cap, the hood of his hoodie draped over it. His eyes were already recovering from it's glazed look, as it drifted over to the leader.

"No. It's not enough."

"I was hoping you'd say that. Whose turn is it this time?"

Right next to the blond, was a girl who might have been too interested in looking around. Besides the goggles she wore, her Brooklyn accent was the only notable thing about her.

"I'll do it if you stayed still."

While the last member, who was sitting far from the others, only had a single headband for something visibly notable. Though the sigh that followed after was a close second. The leader watched the antics with a groan, before getting up as well to do his own part.

"I'll be back later."

He left the garage.

Quirks

The usage of quirks weren't getting lazy to people taught the old ways. People like Caleb most of all. Though he was taught both ways to use his quirk to his advantage, he choose the way his mother taught, and kept it sealed away until he really needed it. His quirk was far to dangerous to use recklessly and this proved to be a leading reason why he would or would not fight people with it.
That aside, he was getting positive and negative text messages (that he never responded to) about the uprising of a few dumb asses with artistic adeptness that would vaguely map out where the hide out was located. If only he could pick that information up by putting the links together, then and only then would he be able to truely leave the frustration brewing in his mind behind. Picking up his buzzing phone again, all he could hear on his way down another crowded street was

"You got any spare change"

Coming from a older strainy voice, one belonging to someone obviously obsessed with something he could just buy.

"Sorry bruh, I'm all out"

That simple exchange didn't do shit for him at the moment, but if he wasn't so eager to hang up, he wouldn't have noted that one skater guy taking off out of a warehouse. Not passing right by him, but passing through just enough for his attention to be focused on all the...Warehouses!? It was one of the best places to do crime!
From that point one, caleb cautiously stood by for a second or two to see if anyone else exited the area. From that point on, he snuck in, investigating each and every house, starting with the first by shifting around the outside.

Saeko

She wasn't a vigilante.

The fact that she didn't go around in a costume, suiting up to fight crime, should have been more than enough proof of that. Yet, responding to the rest of her texts, her friends thought otherwise.

Beside bringing up the small fights that occurred because of the murals, which she already acknowledged knowing, they also questioned whether or not she was going to stop them.

She couldn't.

As much as she wanted to, beyond using her webbing to bind an arm or leg, that was as much as she could do, without personally being involved with the fight.

And it wasn't like it was already being taken care of.

Though Tokyo didn't have as many heroes as Tatooine did, you couldn't expect for civil disorder to be ignored. Either the lesser heroes who actually had licenses, or the police force, would take care of the issue. A fact that she was witnessing now, as she looked for the skaters.

She might not have been able to help much with the riots, which was probably for the best anyway, but slowing down or detaining a skater or two, shouldn't have been out of the question.

After all, how was this any different than reporting a suspect, when a person goes missing? Long as she wasn't in range of the skaters, she should be fine.

Coming down one street, she thought she had seen a familiar figure, although it was hard to actually tell whether or not she was wrong, from the distance she was at.

It looked like it could have been that guy who she never got the name of. But it could have also been one of the skaters entering the warehouse.

Regardless though, she followed after. It couldn't hurt to check and see who it was.
Patrolling the area.

The leader of the skaters had left the warehouse, taking the long way around, intent on scoping out the area their hideout was in. With all the work the group had did, it would have been naive to think they wouldn't be anyone after them. But he couldn't leave the group to their own devices.

From past experiences, things went wrong when he went too far from the hideout.

Which is why this time, they found a messenger to be their eyes and ears from beyond the hideout, whenever the group had to take a break and refill.

Though the leader couldn't find the guy.

Whether or not that really meant anything, was questionable, so the leader counted. If there wasn't any sign of him in 20 minutes, then he would head back to the hideout.
The case was difficult.

With the small fights that were going on, and over murals of all things, tracking down the skaters wasn't easy. Occasionally, the detective had to stop and use his quirk, unraveling some of the pieces of clothing he was wearing, and helping control the disorder going on.

But eventually, through questioning individuals, and assistance from officers, he was able to find the location where the group's hideout was. The detective entered in from a path that didn't converge with the leader, nor the routes that Caleb or Saeko were going down towards.

Believing he found the hideout, he began unraveling the scarf he wore, along with taking off his pair of sunglasses, as he went inside of the barely closed garage.
