“Heroes may need to climb to the top, but a true Hero will never kill to reach their goals!! That makes us as bad as those we fight! If we allow ‘Heroes’ like that to populate our world… the difference between them and Villains are a mere name!”

"The only limit to what you can do is what you limit yourself to."

“There is no ‘trying’ to be a Hero. I am a Hero.”

"Being human is a weakness to Villains.”

This is a story of nothing more than a girl thrown into a world in which she can only sink or swim. A criminal organisation back home threatens the lives of her family, and she has to become a sanctioned Hero to appease the organisation's demands and hopefully ensure that no harm comes to her family. She is fast running out of time to enter Yuuei Academy. If she does not make it into the academy by the end of the year, her end of the bargain will be declared null and void; making the lives of her family forfeit. Everything else is open for the shaping! Eve appears very cold and unfeeling on the outside, but this is all a facade and method of protecting herself and those around her. She will never tell anyone about her predicament and why she is becoming a Hero, and she will do anything to ensure her family's safety, even if means becoming a Villain to do so. The plan is that she enters Yuuei Academy and gathers the strength needed to become a true Hero, and go to fight back against Noir.

FRIENDSHIPS
When one moves past Eve's cold, icy exterior (which can take a lot of perseverance), you will find that she is a very good friend. She is loyal to a fault (just look at the lengths she will go to for her family) and will never give up on you. She is not judgemental and will befriend anyone who has made the effort to break through to her true self, even if she will often make quips about people not being as smart/ intelligent as her. She likes making friends who are like-minded and share similar interests to her, in terms of logical pursuits, but this isn't necessary. As a friend, she is kind, caring and sweet; always looking out for her companions.
  • Edith "Bon-Bon" Bonneville - This bubbly British Hero is Eve's guardian while she is living in Japan, in order to protect her from Noir and any funny moves they make against her. Bon-Bon was once the girl's nanny before suddenly disappearing and not being seen since, which has been explained in full with the meeting which has since occured. Using her incredible hacking skills, Bon-Bon has been able to pin down Villain activities and forward them onto the Delacroix girl so that she may increase her standing as a Hero in her own right. And of course, she is Eve's biggest cheerleader. More can be found about Bon-Bon here.
  • Hana Tsubomi (Deceased) - One of the first encounters she makes within the city of Yuuei, this blonde bundle of hyperactivity is a mystery to Eve. For whatever reason, Hana seems to have adopted the French girl as an older sister figure, through nothing that said girl had really done, per say. The pair later face off against a band of Villains before the announcement of the Sports Festival, and Eve reluctantly accepts help to enter the Academy for Hana's school project. Putting her faith in another person is a rare occurance to say the least, and accepting their help is even rarer still. She worries about and cares deeply for the young girl, much like an older sister would. She recognises the girl's strength and skill in spite of her strange actions and manners, viewing her as a fearsome adversary as well as a friend (although she would never admit the latter). Hana's death greatly affected Eve, but ultimately steels the French girl to steel her resolve.
  • Raikou Tsurikomu (Whereabouts unknown) - First of all, an annoyance. Next, a comrade in arms and a friend. Her first meeting with Raikou occured as she was trying to break and enter into a Villain's hideout alone, and ended up with a group of two others to aid her. She admires the trust that he obviously had within her when she stated that she would have to be beaten around for her quirk to activate and work effectively, and she worked cohesively with him in a team all the while. She is obviously concerned about his wellbeing, and views him to be a friend after their shared ordeal against The Joker and his gang. Her oblivious natures makes it so that she cannot see any further feelings that the boy might have for her, or vice versa.
  • Dylan Driscoll (Whereabouts unknown) - The pair met by chance after literally bumping into one another while training in preparation for the Sports Festival, and made fast friends while they got to know one another. She was, of course, completely oblivious to any of the very huge signs which said otherwise about their friendship, or about it being more than just 'friendship' due to the manner in which they learned about one another; a nice lunch, situated in a beautiful cherry blossom grove, which Dylan paid for. Nothing like a date, right? Not to Eve. She is impressed by his strength and his quirk, which she finds fascinating due to its scientific properties. To help him, she has offered for him to become a roommate if they both get into Yuuei Academy, so it would be like 'living in a boarding school together'. In spite of not knowing one another for very long, their bond is a close one. The pair become classmates in Class 1-A of Yuuei, and as such, Dylan moves in with Eve, further strengthening their friendship. They stayed close, with a few tribulations, throughout their time at school together. Since graduation, they haven't really been in touch.
  • Mia Bellacanto (Presumed deceased/ in hiding) - Having met this Mafia Princess at an affluent gala, the two girls swiftly bond over their joint distaste for such events and keep one another company. In spite of their obvious differences, they are similar enough to understand the other and their problems, and as such, a strong bond is quickly formed between them. Eve admires Mia's conversational skills and utilising numerous means to achieve what she wishes, and cannot wait for the pair of them to become classmates in the future when the latter managaes to get into U.A. Academy. Quite honestly her closest female friend to date. Following some rather tragic instances in which the two girls became distant, they cemented their friendship further, and even after Mia revealed that she had to go into hiding following the tight hold of her father tightening more and more. They remain in touch, although they are forbidden to see each other.
  • Tork DeGracio - This boy brings out all of Eve's typically hidden sass, and does so with a vengeance. She delights in the verbal battles that the two of them partake in, and while on the surface they appear very different, deep down, they share a lot of similar traits. Both wish to keep their distance from people, and have methods to do so. Deep down, they have a good understanding and respect for one another. Especially since Tork witnessed Eve's participation in the Sports Festival and admires her ability to throw punches and take physical punishment, they have begun to form a sort of friendship which will only deepen over time. Certainly as they face hardships together, and she aids him in entering U.A. Academy. Their constant trials and tribulations have meant that the two of them started dating approximately a year after they met, having forged a strong bond that surpassed a friendship. At its deepest level, however, Tork is still one of Eve's closest friends, and she feels as though she can go to him about anything.
  • Takeru Igarashi (Presumed deceased/ in hiding) - Respect and friendship through fear would be a good way to describe Eve's relationship with Mr. Tall, Dark and Scary. At least, it certainly was to begin with. The pair of them are both relatively easy going, however, and while Takeru is certainly more introverted than Eve, the pair end up reaching a kind of mutal respect and understanding (at least, she hopes so). They don't talk much or interact much, but have seen one another enough now for her to class them as friends. She trusts him, and his ability to look after Mia.
  • Sorin Jokinen (Whereabouts unknown) - A boy whom she met at her sixteenth birthday event, Sorin is someone that she also gets along well with. She knew upon meeting him that he was someone whom she relates a lot to, and is curious about. Another foreigner in Japan, potentially for the same reason that she's there? On a scientific standpoint, she also finds his pigment in eye colour to be fascinating. The pair of them share suitably nerdy hobbies and are both just general dorks that get embarrassed far too easily, so there's that which they share as well. She wants to get to know him better, and feels guilty, as she always does, for not being able to share everything about her own circumstances. However, she finds him to be sweet and wholly interesting; quite contradictory about how he feels in regard to himself.
  • Beru Kemono (Whereabouts unknown) - A very hesitantly made friend over the Christmas vacation, Beru is a sweet girl whom Eve was very wary of for quite a while. Only after spending a long time finally coming to terms that she wasn't going to be bullied/ judged by the blonde girl, and getting over her awful jealousy issues, she was able to make friends with the other female. Because of her past, she is very hesitant to befriend girls, but Beru is an exception, very much like Mia in that sense. The animal-loving girl is sweet and kind, through and through, which is something that is almost impossible not to like. All of it is genuine, and not a way to make friends through deception either, which Eve finds endearing. The two girls have formed a rather close bond, all things considered, and enjoy one another's company a great deal (although spending time with the very extroverted girl leaves Eve feeling exhausted by the end of their time together).
  • Saeko Hikari (Whereabouts unknown) - The two girls have been acquaintances for quite a while, and were in the same year when they fought in their very first Sports Festival. Until recently, however, they have not been particularly close. Their time at the Spectrum Hero Office changed that. They spent an intensive week of training together, and have since formed a sort of friendship between them. While not a particularly close friendship, they have worked close enough together to have each other's backs in any situation. Previously Saeko's idol, or one of them, Eve is now on a much more level playing field with the other girl. She has proved that she is only human.
  • Mercutio D. Regalis (Bellacanto) - After meeting this man for the first time with a barely living student cradled in his arms, their friendship started off on... well, quite the wrong foot. He remained a mystery for the entirety of that time, until she started seeing his face pop up more and more and finally started to get a feel for who he was. Following this, during their Heroics Licensing Exam, Mercutio proceeded to aid Eve, and announced his connection to her best friend, Mia. Ever since that day, she has made the effort to try and keep in contact with him more and start calling him a "friend", because it is useful to have such friendships in high places, after all. Not only that, but his general enigmatic persona was something of intrigue for her. She has a habit of dropping everything to rush to the aid of people who end up getting catastrophically injured when Mercutio is involved, with the latest being a boy who was completely paralyzed. She tells him on a regular that he had better not make a habit of it.
  • Jackson Game - Always an acquaintance while still at U.A., and a kouhai that Eve admired, the pair have recently forged a friendship through a spar of self-improvement. Ever since Jackson arrived to share information about his quirk and abilities for Eve's Oasis project, she has been mindful of his struggle and has been inspired by his determination to surpass his limits and become a Hero. Due to the mess that followed with Noir, and the death of her mentor in her final year, she did not truly reach out to Jackson in an attempt to help him as he experienced various horrific encounters. She felt that she could help him, as she saw a lot of herself within the boy, but came to the realisation that she was prideful for thinking as such. After revealing this and the fact that she has never been scared of the demon youth, they officially secured their friendship built upon good banter and mutual respect.
  • Kasai Iyashi - A skilled kouhai who did not originally have plans or passion for Heroics, Kasai interned with Spectrum during the last academic year. As Green Grit, Eve was in charge of the interns' training and development, so during the week that they were there, a more structured bond of teacher and student began to form. At the end of the internships, Eve revealed her identity to her students, one of which was Kasai, to showcase her trust in them and desire she had to be their mentor. Following this, Eve and Kasai have kept in relatively close contact, recently bridging the small gap that had been present (in no small part due to their little bits of social awkwardness) in order to become friends with a firm student-teacher relationship. She is keen to help Kasai in whatever endeavour he decides upon, and wants to draw out any passions and determination he has for him to become the best he can be.

HATESHIPS
While it is rather easy to make Eve dislike a person, it is not easy to make her fully despise another person. She is one to believe in second chances and not holding grudges, unless it is for very good reason. In the case of her relationship with Noir, she can truly say that she hates every member of the organisation with all her heart. Can anyone blame her? Ways to incur the wrath of Eve is to attempt harm against someone, or multiple people, that she cares about. She has quite a short temper in a lot of circumstances, but this does not mean that she will immediately despise a person she shouts or yells at. You can tell when she is truly angered by the dark tone of her voice, and the way she becomes eeirely quiet rather than explosive and angry. God help you if you wind up on her blacklist.
  • Noir - Having lived under the relentless and absolute control from this criminal organisation for most of her life, it goes without saying that Eve absolutely despises these people. They are built out of thugs on broken promises, and function due to the excellence running things at the top, the worst of whom is responsible for many of the young woman's scars and various phobias. The organisation has since been (forcefully) disbanded on a Spectrum-sanctioned mission, overseen by Yellow Quo and led by Eve. All of the "top brass" are in prison or deceased, and the lower-ranked members have been reformed as serving staff for the Delacroix household.
  • Mercutio D. Regalis (Bellacanto) - After getting close enough to this enigma to hopefully call him a friend, Eve found herself betrayed by him as news of his transgressions came to light all over the world. She had helped countless people for him, and all the while had no idea of the evils he was covering up from her. Potentially putting her job on the line, she brought a whole mansion to the Iles of Elysium only to find out this news, and she has since been unable to think of this man except in anger and disappointment. Having been betrayed by countless people before, she feels the sting of this very keenly. If she is to face Mercutio again, she will likely engage in combat with him due to the huge ideological differences between the two of them which have come to light. Balance allowed evils to be committed, and wasn't true justice.[/color]

LOVESHIPS
Recently awakened to romantic feelings as a whole, Eve has started taking note of feelings that she has probably always experienced, but never knew how to lavel. By nature, she is quite oblivious and blissfully innocent, but at least now she isn't wholly ignorant to the concept of lovers and the like. That aside, it has to be somebody truly special to make her begin realising that she has feelings beyond platonic for another person. She assumes that her sexuality is Heterosexual, and this is indeed the case. Always open for experimentation, for science of course! Much like when she makes friends, Eve will be a fiercely loyal lover. And she will continue to be blissfully oblivious and adorable. She'll get all flustered by holding hands, or even being seen in public with her lover in true Tsundere fashion. Plus possibly reacting violently to the problem, like punching the person upside the head. Or a suplex of love. All that good stuff.
  • Tork DeGracio - These two started things off with a bang after meeting (and bickering) at a dinner party, before ending the night on a positive note. From there, the unlikely friends fought countless times and laid their lives on the line together, which proceeded to forge a bond stronger than friendship. They have developed a very deep respect for one another through all of these life-threatening situations, and the fallout from them afterwards, always coming back to one another in spite of the odds stacked against them. After accompanying Eve on the mission to take down Noir, the pairs' relationship only bloomed further and they decided to move in together (much to the delight of their respective families). Now approaching their fifth anniversary, they continue to balance one another in terms of personality, and will fight tooth and nail for their significant other's goals.

STORY ARCS

ARC I - BEFORE THE ACADEMY
Eve's arrival to Japan was barely too late for the entrance exams of the prestigious Yuuei Academy, her Heroics school of choice. Just as she begins to despair that she will not be able to get into the school for another year, she is told by her guardian, the beloved British Bon-Bon, that there are other methods of getting into Yuuei. First and foremost, via recommendation. If the young Hero in question is scouted to be strong enough and worth tuition, they can be drafted in to further their Heroics training. The other, less favourable option, revolves around sponsorship. And with Noir backing her, there was no question she could buy her way into the school. But with her pride and honour forbidding this until the very last second, she sets her mind on entering via recommendation. Thus begins her journey around the city to apprehend small-time villains and make a name for herself.

With the help of Raikou and Hana, she is able to apprehend a gang of four Villains. The authorities give them all a slap on the wrist, so to speak, due to the fact that their actions were unsanctioned and they destroyed their precious evidence. But, because no civilians were hurt and they had accomplished note-worthy work for a group of teens, they were given praise all the same.

Shortly after this, comes the announcement of the Yuuei Open Sports Festival; a chance for prospective Heroes from all over the globe to participate and show their mettle to the teachers of Yuuei. In preparation, Eve is whisked away to Tokyo in order to rest and recover after her previous ordeal, which left her with fatigue and injuries to get over before she could train properly. After resting as much as she could physically manage, the girl begins training once more, determined to use the Sports Festival as a means to get into the school. There was no other option. It was during this training that she runs into Dylan, a Welsh boy aiming to enter Yuuei via the Sports Festival also. The two become fast friends, and decide to train with a sparring match to see if they are indeed prepared for the biggest ordeal of their lives which fast approaches.

Just before the Sports Festival is due to begin, Eve is whisked back to Tokyo to attend a gala which her family cannot attend due to being annexed and controlled by Noir. Despising such events, she struggles to find much joy in the occassion and is tempted to leave soon after arriving. Rather quickly, she meets a girl called Mia Bellacanto, who is in much the same situation as her. The two girls become fast friends with the more time they spend revelling in each other's company, and together, they make the event more bearable for the other. Things swiftly start changing rapidly as Tork DeGracio makes a loud entrance, and ends up teaching Eve how to dance. The pair of them, both 'difficult' in their own right, proceed to spend time on the dance floor with the result being Tork overheating due to his quirk. As Eve helps the boy, she is overcome by her quirk and the pain is causes her, not made any better by a violent outrage from said youth whom she aided. Eventually, Tork realises that there was no need for such a reaction and helps Mia in getting the French girl into a car to take her back to the hotel she was staying in, even offering to be the gentleman and accompany her to ensure that she was safe.

ARC I GOALS
  • Gain new understanding of her quirk and develop techniques which aren't as harmful to her body
  • Accumulate minor notoriety as a Hero in her own right
  • Form a friendship (Friend Count: 4)
  • Become better at dealing with people (??? Is this possible for the Tsundere ???)
  • Learn of her family's wellbeing back home

ARC II - YUUEI OPEN SPORTS FESTIVAL: EVE'S GRAND ENTRANCE!
Having trained her little heart out and finally started to grasp more in-depth mechanics of her quirk, Eve bursts onto the stage at the Open Festival with deep determination... and huge embarrassment, because Bon-Bon watches the whole proceedings, of course.

In the first Round, she is teamed up with a current Yuuei student, Ikkuge, and it pitched against two boys who aren't students; Sam and Ryuuji. Before she can even discuss with her partner any plans she had for capturing the flag of their opponents, he rushes off and uses insane mastery of his quirk to dimply... make the flag vanish into dust. Whatever his quirk was, it eclipsed hers utterly and completely. The crowds went wild for Ikkuge, and Eve was left looking like a useful fool. Ashamed and angered, she leaves the field with a harsh realisation sinking in; if this was one student's power, how did she have a hope of being noticed for the next class of Heroes?

Round 2 rolled around soon afterwards. Her partner for that round had been a no-show, however, and she was expected to fight against two people by herself. Determined to make a good show of her strength and capabilities this time, she goes out with a solid plan in her mind which only strengthens when she sees her opponents and their shoddy teamwork. The boy in particular, Jakuta, was reckless and rushed her head on with a powerful attack. She reflected the attack back at her two opponents, almost burning both of them in the process. The pair split off, and Jakuta aimed to tackle her from one side, while the girl, Saeko, shot webs at her from the other side. Eve reacted quickly and took the boy's tackle head on, performing a Judo flip to put him on the side where webs were rushing him. Her plan worked, but she was slightly too slow to stop the President dummy falling. This was all it took to declare the other team the winners. Things just weren't going her way; she had won by looking useless in the first round, and now, she had lost on her own terms miserably.

Her anger and frustration only serves to build in preparation for Round 3. Steeled by her poor showings previously, she storms out onto the stage and goes all out at her first opponent, Royce, unleashing her full strength through the usage of a powerful buff to her power and stamina. Having overdone it and sending him flying, to the point where he would fall right off the ring and thus injure him further, she rushes after him as she realises her mistake. She manages to reach him and catch him at the last second, apologising for so recklessly attacking him and stating that her previous behaviour was not very Hero-like.

Of all people to fight, Eve comes up against her close friend Dylan in her next fight after the U.A. students leave and the brackets are shuffled once more. Her body acted on its own, preventing her from attacking further as she comes to the realisation that if her friend loses, he would have to go back to Wales in the UK and he wouldn't realise his dream. However, with stern words and passion overflowing from a heated exchange, the fight resumes. Their fight ends as they promised to begin with at the start of their friendship: together. Both go flying off the arena, and by sheer chance, Dylan ended up landing first, declaring Eve the victor. While delighted, she also feels conflicted and worried that her friend would be going home. Much to her excitement, however, she learns that her friend was recognised and placed in the same class as her in U.A., meaning they both teens succeeded in their aspirations.

ARC II GOALS
  • Win Round 1 (Successful)
  • Win Round 2 (Failed)
  • Win Round 3 (Successful)
  • Be noticed by the teachers for her talents
  • Do the latter without having to activate her quirk fully
  • Scout potential rivals and competition

BONUS - Achieved 2nd Place in the Festival overall.

ARC III - YEAR ONE IN A SCHOOL FILLED WITH HEROES! MIXING WITH THE ELITE: CLASS 1-A
Training does pay off! Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Eve lands herself a spot in the prestigious Hero Academy of U.A., and manages to enter 1-A in the process. She is well and truly ready for a year filled with Heroics studies, with one main goal: be the top student in the Academy.

With class comes a very harsh realisation for her; she is seen to be a know-it-all by her classmates, and people begin to bully her for her academic nature. She felt as if she failed her class assignment rather than pass it with flying colours (as her A grade depicts). Her continued hard work and dedication becomes the focal point of teasing from three girls in particular from class 1-B, girls known as the Three K's amongst the students of U.A. While they were intimidated to back down due to her friend Mia's intervention, followers of the Three K's have continued to give Eve trouble for being a smart, dedicated student. She has since been taught about the intricate nature of feelings and emotions to do with love, and lovers, firsthand thanks to Mia demonstrating a lover's kiss. Since this point, she has been filled with strange feelings that affect her when it comes to three boys in particular; Tork, Dylan and Sorin (to a lesser extent).

Aside from her typical teenage hormones being an uphill battle, Noir have decided to start pushing their power and influence onto her even more so for her to feel. They sent Gerard Moreau to assassinate Dylan, one of her closest friends in Japan, and to try and get more information about who else she was close with to send the same message; Noir saw everything, and could take things away whenever they wanted...

ARC III GOALS
  • Receive all As on her assignments
  • Spend at least two full SLs training or studying
  • Aid Mia and Tork with entrance into U.A.
  • Become known in Tatooin (D Fame)
  • Arrange to see her siblings, at the very least
  • Work on upgrading her costume capabilities
  • Work with Heroic Support class to design more gadgets to use her quirk effectively
  • Learn from students in classes in the years above
  • Start/ join an extra-curricular club (Martial Arts Club)
  • Learn another martial art (Kendo)
  • Learn Italian (to converse with friends in their native tongue)

ARC IV - THE SERIES OF ULTIMATUMS: TRAVELLING DOWN A DARK PATH
Following the Christmas vacation she attended with her good friends, Eve's life took a huge upturn for the better. During said vacation, she was asked to be Tork's girlfriend, which she gleefully accepted, and the pair were happily dating and enjoying their lives together. Her friendships continued to blossom (for the most part), and her grades remained impeccable throughout the year. Her boyfriend, her best friend Mia, and her other friend Takeru were all moved up into her class, and the group of them were able to enjoy a good few classes together in preparation for the next big spectacle: The Sports Festival.

In the run up to the festival, Eve's older sister, Val, chose this opportunity to visit. She turned up out of nowhere and demanded to see all of her little sister's friends, and see what life was like training to become a Hero. That, and it was a wonderful opportunity for the two young women to catch up and make up for lost time. The visit made Eve absolutely ecstatic, in spite of her concerns to do with Noir, and they had a marvelous time together and with everybody else during the short visit that Val paid. Shortly after her older sister departed, the youngest Delacroix girl was met with a threatening and very resounding phone call:

Noir already knew, and they had the power to take down Val's plane on the flight home, should Eve not co-operate and do exactly what was asked of her.

Desperate to save her sister's life, the girl complied, and listened in horror as she was asked to cut all ties between her, and her friends in Tatooin so she could truly focus on the Festival. That, and the criminal organisation viewed such bonds to be superfluous, a waste of time, and something getting in the way of their full control over the youth. Grudgingly, she agreed, and began to distance herself with no reason why. Whereas her icy heart had been thawed before, because of her companionship with others, it started to frost over once more as she prepared herself for the Festival.

It soon arrived, and she was ready to give her best showing so that Noir would have no reason to harm anybody back home. Everything started so well; she was the crowd favourite after winning last year, and she was in top form physically. Her first fight was declared won very fast, as was the second. When the third came, however, that was when things started to become very complicated indeed. Her close friend and former roommate, Dylan, had told her boyfriend all about the situation with Noir following the failed assassination attempt against him. Tork chose their fight to reveal this information, that he knew all about what was happening, and it forced Eve to start unraveling in terms of mental state. Her performance in the festival was hit hard, and she moved recklessly to try and win a fight in which she outmatched her opponents, and the fight was called early. Noir had seen enough; shortly after the dodgeball event started, the Delacroix girl was removed from the festival altogether, being termed a 'disgrace'.

She ended up placing last, and only a few Hero offices selected her for the internship programme that she was to undertake in her next year, which was unacceptable to Noir. They ordered her to continue following their orders; to stay away from her friends, otherwise their lives, and those belonging to her family, would be forfeit.

With the coming of the next school year, Eve was a completely changed young woman. Mentally, she was unhinged and ready to come undone. She had managed to scrape into Class 2-A somehow, but she claimed in her first class that it was a miracle or dumb luck which attributed to this. She arrived late for every class, and spent all her other time at school locked away in the private study rooms in the library. Try as she might, all of her applications to drop out of U.A. Academy were all rebuffed, no thanks to Noir. What was the point in her being a Hero if everything she had done to help others was classed as all but Villainous in the eyes of the law? This was not something that she had seen in her future growing up, but it had become a part of it forcibly, to appease the organisation running her life. As she had grown to truly wish to follow in this pathway, she had been told at every turn that she wasn't good enough, or she was doing things that weren't right.

Her performance in school was, of course, not acceptable for Noir. They contacted Eve during the first week of her having been back at school, and gave her a final ultimatum. They had a target in Tatooin whom they wanted to eliminate, and they wanted her to pull the trigger.

It was Mia Bellacanto, none other than Eve's best friend.

Should the Delacroix girl refuse, the lives of all her family back home would be forfeit in numerous ways, which were described in detail to her until she accepted with a heavy heart and tears in her eyes. That was how she found herself outside her best friend's apartment with a gun in her hand, and a very hesitant intent to kill...

ARC IV GOALS
  • Drop out of U.A. Academy (Failed)
  • Get back on Noir's good side
  • Assassinate Mia Bellacanto (Failed)

ARC V - DEFIANCE: THE RESOLUTION
As she held her weapon of choice to Mia's head, Eve knew she couldn't go through with what she was doing. Mia was one of her friends in Japan; people who had chosen to be her friend, not for her prestigious background, but for who she was. She broke down on Mia's bedroom floor and told her best friend everything. Holding everything in for too long could be dangerous, and she had broken, right there and then. She recounted everything that Noir had ever done to her, and claimed that her family's lives would be forfeit if she couldn't kill the Bellacanto heiress, which she couldn't do either.

Luckily, her friend had a plan, much like she always did.

Mia proceeded to shoot herself in the stomach, and commanded Tork and Eve (the former of whom had arrived feeling distress from Mia due to their bonds) to stage a break-in. Takeru would look after the princess currently bleeding out. Much to their relief, this whole plan worked, and media overtook the story while drinking in all details that were provided to them. There had been a break-in, the assailant shot Mia, and took off with valuables while hurriedly destroying security equipment they had seen in the process. Mia was taken to recover in hospital, and was successfully stabilised when it should have otherwise been impossible for her to live. Her body had already begun to heal itself, accelerated by some life force.

Of course, the physician appointed to Mia didn't pry, and instead took good care of her. Tork and Eve were allowed to visit, and they concocted a plan together to take down Noir. Filled with guilt and sadness, Eve gave up all details about the organisation without hesitation, unable to shake the feeling that she was dragging her friends into a situation that would have never otherwise been in, if they had never met her. She expresses a very firm assertion that she must be the one to take down Noir; making a stand and saying that she was sick of how they had controlled her, and her family, for too long. Her fierce determination certainly hadn't been shaken, at least.

Still burdened with those feelings of guilt all the same, life progressed as normal, with one notable change. The weight previously crushing the teen had all but been lifted, and other people were shouldering it with her. She was largely back to her old self, if anything to avoid media suspicions that she had a hand in the attack on Mia. She had been able to tell Noir that she was responsible, but was unable to land a killing shot in the chaos. As such, she was instructed to stay close to the girl, for fear of other suspicions, and of course, the speculation soon died. Both girls grew close once more, where there had previously been a wedge in their relationship due to Eve's distance over the summer months. Indeed, she also worked to re-build the bridge between herself and her boyfriend, whom she had also estranged over summer.

Eve was able to focus whole-heartedly on her studies once more. She was given compassionate understanding from the faculty, who knew of family issues back home (though not the true nature, of course), and she was given a pardon considering how good of a student she normally was. She was allowed to submit a request for internship like the others, and made her rather unconventional choice recently to be submitted and considered. She would be venturing to Spectrum when internships were due to begin. Even so, she just couldn't shake that guilt plaguing her mind... she had committed a horrible act that should have lost the trust of Mia, Takeru and Tork, and yet... they continued to stick with her all the same.

Grappling with her guilt and still continuing her life as a student of U.A. (still one of the best, if not the best), she pressed onwards and threw herself into becoming a prefect for Class 1-D. In doing so, she moved to the dorms, as per regulations, and had to say goodbye to living with Bon-Bon, her guardian. The woman would still be watching over her, however, and Eve still goes to catch up with the bubbly woman every week. In her time spent living in dorms, she had built even more relationships, which has lifted her previously dark heart into feeling happy that people genuinely seem to enjoy her company, and want to be friends with her.

It fills her with hope.
ARC V GOALS
  • Get to know all of Class 1-D personally
  • Set up and run an afterschool club.
  • Put her plans in motion for a student-led tutoring programme for her peers.
  • Improve her grades back to As. (Success)
  • Embark on her internship with Spectrum.
  • Get to know more of her 1st year peers.
  • Have her Hero suit further upgrades.
  • Plan structures that she wishes to build in the future. (Ongoing)

ARC VI - BRIEF RESPITE
While her personal strife found a sort of lull, there was more brewing in the background. Halloween arrived, and Eve threw herself into celebrations with her 1-D underclassmen. A party which had been thrown with the intention of providing joy and excitement for the students of U.A. soon became a disaster, however, when the unthinkable happened.

Villains invaded and rocked the very foundations of the school.

Each floor of students were cut off from one another, and they all had to face the threat on their own floor without any assistance aside from relying on themselves. Eve immediately stepped up into a protector role, and swiftly went to the aid of a girl, Shiori, who had her arm ripped off by a brute of a villain. She ordered the other First Years to stand back, but against her wishes, they stepped up to fight alongside her. Touched by their decision to aid her however they could, she allowed them to fight at her side and did her best to not only protect them, but fight back against their deadly foes simultaneously.

She pushed herself to the absolute limits of her strength, and took huge amount of punishment for what she did to protect her underclassmen at all costs. It tipped her body into the danger zone as her Quirk's full activation was seen for the full time in its full force. Utilising her newfound (albeit borrowed) strength, she tried to finish the fight without any consideration for her own life. Professional Heroes stopped her deadly path, and dealt with the problem from there. As she faded from consciousness, body all but destroyed with the effort she exerted, she weeped and apologised to her peers. She had been unable to protect them like she wished, and they had gotten hurt, if even a little bit, in the fight.

When she next woke up, she was in a hospital bed and unable to move. Greeted by her boyfriend, she sobbed uncontrollably all over again and grew hysteric as she worried about the first years more than herself, which earned a very irate Nurse-chan bearing down upon her. She learnt what had happened after she fell unconscious, and that she had been in an induced coma for a week to allow her body some much-needed chance to heal. The worst news dropped on her like a bombshell; she would find that she was no longer able to walk or do much of anything, due to the extensive damage to her body and her own carelessness in a fight situation. Nurse-chan scolded her for being so reckless and mindless about her own safety, and this hit Eve hard. It truly sunk in just how important it was to rely on others, if they were so distraught by what happened when she tried to shield and protect them all no matter what.

And thus, a long rehabilitation process began. Tork was there with her every day after classes to help her re-learn to walk, grasp and get her body back into its proper condition, and it was a gruelling solid month of this treatment. Against all odds, she recovered by the beginning of December, and was allowed to start moving independently once more, while also being discharged from the campus hospital.

Suitably humbled by such a defeat and the way that the first years, alongside her boyfriend, showed concern for her, she stepped forward with big strides and got her head down to concentrate on improving. Her humanity and compassion has since grown and flourished, making her that little bit softer around the edges.

She worked hard and proved herself at Spectrum's Office during her internship, and earned the respect of Green Grit, her tutor while she worked there. He shared a secret with her and her classmate who also attended, that nobody else knew publicly; he was dying, and needed a successor for the position of Green Grit. Eve did her best and learned how Grit dealt with his problems, so she could best help him without getting sappy and over-the-top. She kept him grounded and hoped to make him smile, while also forcing him to remember that he wouldn't fade into obscurity like he believed. To her and his team, he was irreplaceable.

Resuming with classes once more, she knuckled right down and kept pushing to improve herself and aid her classmates however she could. Their last class for the semester turned into quite the Lesson; a mock examination for the upcoming Hero License Examinations. Part of her mistrustful and cold persona resurfaced due to the introduction of new people to work with, whom she didn't trust. They proved to her that they were there to work as a team, and she soon softened her attitude, only to feel betrayed by them turning on her class when they were told to split up into two teams. She fought hard with Suko, the prodigy of the Third Year team, and worked to make him break his rigid beliefs about strength in solidarity. She came away as the more wounded party, but managed to convince him to work alongside the second years, and they worked to get everybody together to spring their elaborate plan.

Highly irate by the way that Shuffle was acting, and spurred by the similarities she saw between him and her mentor with Spectrum, she called out to him and begged him to stop being selfish in his ideal of strength. It could be shared; that a group was stronger than any individual could ever be. They relied on one another, and worked together to achieve their goals. Finally, with a good deal of work, they got through to Shuffle and passed their mock examination with dire consequences should they fail.

Quite the emotional roller coaster for a second year of high school, no?
ARC VI GOALS
  • Recover from injuries caused in the Halloween incident.
  • Make a good impression on Spectrum.
  • Keep up with studies and keep A Grades.

ARC VII - FINAL YEAR IN HEROICS: CLASS 3-A
Successfully passing her second year and being put straight into Class 3-A was a huge relief for Eve. Her summer break was filled with training and time with her friends, fond memories that she will never forget, and reconnecting bonds in unlikely places with a certain redheaded boy from a different time. All the while, she was able to keep looming events in the back of her mind, and focused on building her future in Heroics.

With a continuous desire to help her underclassmen, she put an application forward for the position of Head Girl, something only available when one reached third year in Heroics. She also encouraged her boyfriend to apply for a Prefect position, or at the very least move into the dorms to help with his living costs. He went and surprised her by applying for and receiving the Head Boy position! And her application for Head Girl was accepted without any issues either. In quite an unlikely turn of events, Tork and her were the top students in U.A. all of a sudden, and it didn't half feel good. Both of them dedicated their time to preparing for the first years' arrivals, and getting the second years settled back into dorm life.

She well and truly threw herself back into school activities by re-starting her U.A. Hobbyist Club, and being delighted at the new sign-ups from first year students. The position of Head Girl suited her, and she worked hard to be everywhere at once and help whoever she could; even going as far to organise a tour around campus for new students, and being their guide when it came to this new school for them.

With graduation looming at the end of this year being only just within her mind's eye, she focused all of her attention on the task of passing her Provisional Heroics Licensing Exam on the first try when the event rolled around within the first semester of Third Year study. Going into the event with her boyfriend, Tork, and close friend, Ezra, the trio banded together against all of the scrutiny from outside forces and other schools. Against all odds, they worked together and managed to all receive their Professional Heroics Licensing Exam by passing both phases, and cemented their Heroic identities in their own ways. If not for the intervention of a certain mysterious Mercutio D. Regalsis (who claims ties to Mia Bellacanto, her best friend), they would have likely failed.

Although feeling guilty for having to rely so heavily on an outside force, she is grateful for Mercutio's intervention and aid in the mammoth task of passing the exams. She makes a mental note to follow up on his connection to her best friend, and accepts the license proudly with both hands; a true representation of all her hard work over the years.

Now a Licensed Hero, her Fame sky-rocketed once more. She found herself being recognised all the more outside of normal situations, and she was able to offer aid in the streets if ever anyone needed her. But of course, her studies always came first and she worked hard to continue keeping her A Grades in preparation for finals.

Remarkably, their graduation exams were somewhat low-impact compared to previous years, and with good reason. It was a cementing of leaving behind their vigilantism of the past, and moving forward into a life of Professional, dependable Heroes that people could trust to uphold every aspect of the law. And with that, her time studying at U.A. Academy would come to an end. It was all kinds of strange to come to this realisation; it only felt like yesterday that she first arrived in Japan with this goal, and her ideals as well as in herself, had developed and changed to hugely different semblances of what they once were. She had come here against her will to start, and had since come to love the profession in which she had been thrust into. The ability to help others with a quirk previously thought to be only capable of destruction... was an empowering thought.

What lurked around the corner... was undoubtedly the biggest challenge she had yet to face.
ARC VII GOALS

  • Become School Ambassador.
  • Re-Start Hobbyist Club.

ARC VIII - A NEW CHAPTER: OUT INTO THE WORLD
A new graduate of U.A. Academy and licensed Hero, this previously bitter and cold girl was looking forward to the future with hope set deep in her heart. However, her trials were not yet over... far from it.

The consistent reminder of the danger that her family was entrapped within came back day after day to remind her of how important it was for her to fly back to France as soon as she could, so that she could make good on her promise to bring Noir to ruin. But day after day, she struggled with this method of thought. It had started out as a revenge story, but now that she knew all about Heroics, she knew that there were inherent problems with this. She gathered all of her research into the organisation, and meant to compile it all into a semblance of a case to combat the group without her own personal ties attached.

But before even that, she had yet to face more tragedy.

Her mentor was losing his battle with terminal cancer, and when a fateful call was received one day about his condition worsening, Eve's world as she knew it began to crumble beneath her. She was quick to make it to Spectrum Tower in Tokyo, in order to see the famed Green Grit in his final moments... especially since he asked for her to be there. Assuming it would be a simple farewell, she had no idea of what would follow.

Frank Gilbert passed his mantle of Green Grit, defender of peace and strength in their world, onto her.

It was a huge burden to bear, and alongside the loss of somebody close to her, she almost broke down into disrepair following it. But with some encouragement and much-needed support from her boyfriend, she started to face up to this role. She cared not for recognition for her deeds of Heroism, and simply wanted to save others. Fame was never something she was particularly bothered about, so giving up her identity was never an issue for the somewhat shy young woman. It was moreso the pressure of carrying all of that weight, and supporting one of the pillars of justice that were unshakable in the face of Villainy throughout the globe.

She swore an oath to her mentor as he was passing away that she would create medicine in his memory, to ensure that nobody else would die due to their own quirk and drawbacks that affected health. Having suffered with this for herself, and seen somebody die because of it, she was unable to remain inactive about this. Her previous research into quirks began to filter into this goal, and became nicknamed Project: Oasis. The name came from the idyllic and miracle nature of an oasis within a desert, and it hearkened a sort of greenish hue that was reminiscent of the man whom she dedicated this research to.

And so, she publicly retired from Heroics as herself; as Genevieve Delacroix, The Potential Hero.
Noir Takedown: Arc VIII-I

Instead, she enrolled into a Medicine Degree at the University of Tokyo, determined to deepen her knowledge of all things medical in order to create this miracle drug to help others. That, and behind closed doors, she worked as Green Grit; steadfast 'tank' of Team One. It kept her unimaginably busy, but anybody who knows Eve will know that she enjoyed that level of busy scheduling. Inactivity was her worst enemy, after all.

Her experience in combat soared as she embarked on mission after mission, and then approached the tricky art of looking after interns with Spectrum. She had always been a teacher at heart, but there was something immensely daunting about carrying her Office's reputation on her shoulders while she taught two bright young boys; Kasai and Oswald. By the end of their week together, she revealed her identity to them, feeling as if the mask and suit she wore for disguise kind of removed her from the personable relationship somewhat. She trusted both boys' ability to keep this secret, and they all went out on a mission together, as a celebration of their successful learning experience.

And so she continues going from strength to strength, shining light in the darkness that threatened to envelope their world, and doing it without the true recognition that others would dream of.

Her name was Green Grit, and she was both the shield and sword on the war of Villainy.
ARC VIII GOALS
  • Finally get her fantasy novel published.
  • Actually pass her driving test (Fail Count: 4 Times)
  • Decorate her shared apartment with Tork.
  • Acquire a dedicated student/ become a mentor.
  • Pass her first year at University. (accomplished, with honours)

Reply here if you're interested in being part of Eve's plot! I'm open to all eventualities and all things to aid her develop into a truly awesome character. <3

The Delacroix Family

Aleron Thierry Leander Delacroix
The Patriarch

Full Body

CHARACTER BLURB
| Trope: Father Figure, Savvy Businessman, If Looks Could Kill, Charismatic | Personality Type: ENTJ - The Commander | Nationality: French | Known Languages: French, English, Japanese, Italian, Swedish, Danish, German |
Name Musings: Royal/ affluent French families give their children long names to represent their status. 'Aleron' means 'Knight', 'Thierry' means 'Powerful' or 'Ruler of the people', 'Leander' means 'Man of the Lion' or 'Lion Man', and 'Delacroix' means 'Of the Cross'.

Monsieur Delacroix is a very handsome, youthful looking man for his age. Although certainly young to have parented four children, at forty nine years old, he has no visible signs of ageing aside from a few very fine wrinkles around his eyes that crinkle visibly when he smiles. He stands just shy of 5'8", somewhat short for a fully grown man, but he appears much bigger than that height with how he commands the attention of a room. He oozes charisma from every pore of his body, and is savvy enough to always come out on the much better end of a business deal. Having founded numerous successful businesses of his own, he is typically the first point of contact for people to approach in Europe. He is also a highly intelligent man, his IQ exceeding that of his youngest daughter's (which was already high at 200), and the two of them have a lot in common. He is a man who wishes to be with his family more, and one frustrated by their current circumstances and his inablity to do anything but rely on his children. Like his wife, he does not give out compliments to their children readily, to harden and toughen them up. He is a product of rigid tradition, but is breaking free of it in his own ways, by advancing into the modern era with businsesses and innovative new ideas. A lot more flexible and free-spirited than his stoic, stony wife, he exudes a certain kind of reserved, fatherly warmth and wisdom. He was born to the affluent Delacroix family as the eldest son, and was arranged to marry a wealthy young woman of around his age when both turned fifteen. This woman's stubbornness was set to determine the rest of his life, and she refused to try and love him because of her hard-headed demanour. He, on the other hand, grew to greatly love and care for his wife, and deep down, she feels the same about her husband. Under constant pressure from his family legacy, he strived to make his parents proud while also leaving his own mark on the Delacroix name. Since the disbanding and imprisonment of Noir, the family's oppressors, Aleron has been making more effort to engage with his children in their lives, and has been able to actually be a true father to them for the first time.

Silana Calandre Harriette Delacroix (Lachapelle)
The Matriarch

CHARACTER BLURB
| Trope: Cold as Ice, Emotionless, 'The Perfect Lady' | Personality Type: INTJ - The Architect | Nationality: French | Known Languages: French, English, Japanese, German, Danish, Swiss, Austrian, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Swedish |
Name Musings: Similar methodology as others in the family, long names mean power and affluence. 'Silana' means 'Dignified', Calandre means 'Lark', 'Harriette' means 'Keeper of the Home', 'Delacroix' means 'Of the Cross', and her maiden name, 'Lachapelle' means 'The Church'.

Madam Delacroix is stunningly beautiful, in spite of her forty eight years, and is lusted after by most in the affluent circles that they mix with as a family. A petite lady, she stands a few centimetres shy of 5'2", but she is very curvaceous and has an angelic face... minus the sour, stony expression she wears daily. She was married to Aleron immediately after she turned eighteen, and the arrangement was in place from when she was fourteen years of age. More than anything, she wanted to hate the man whom she was tied forcibly for the rest of her life, but she just couldn't do it. She found too many endearing, attractive qualities in him, but still pretended that the sight of him made her sick, and she refused to spend much time with him. By the time they had their first child, she was hopelessly in love with him. She has never acted motherly or soft with her numerous children, and has always been firm and cold. With her daughters, she tried to fashion them into real ladies, but her endeavours were rather fruitless to say the least. Growing up a loveless home herself, she had no idea how to deal with children or showing them affection, and thus remained wholly detached from their upbringing; throwing herself into business instead. She proved to be a very shrewd businesswoman, a product of her amazing strategic and focused mind. A very insular woman, she prefers the company of herself as opposed to others, but often attends galas and all sorts of other social events to appease the demands put on her to be a true matriarch for her family. She tries to take the brunt of all social scrutiny they come under, so she can weasel their way out with quick, cutting quips. Deep down, she is wholly proud of and loves all four of her children, but she struggles to show them. Following the successful liberation of the Delacroix household by her youngest daughter, Silana has softened up a great deal. Her expressions can still sour even the freshest of milk, but she goes out of her way to be in touch with her grown-up children, and tries to pay compliments the best she can. They are often back-handed by nature, however...

Valeraine Eleanor Patrice Allefra Delacroix
The Eldest Daughter

Full Body

CHARACTER BLURB
| Trope: Mischief Itself, Bubbly & Bouncy, Full of Life, Deceptively Powerful | Personality Type: ENFP - The Campaigner | Nationality: French | Known Languages: French, English, Japanese |
Name Musings: Previous theme of affluent, long names applies here. 'Valeraine' means 'Brave', 'Eleanor' means 'Shining Light', 'Patrice' means 'Noble', 'Allefra' means 'Cheerful' and 'Delacroix' means 'Of the Cross'.

Valeraine, or as she prefers to be called, Val, is certainly nothing like her parents upon first glance. Only after careful scruple one can recognise the angelic face shape of her mother's, broad shoulders of her father, and so on and so forth. Her hair and eye combination come from her mother's mother; a recessive gene for lilac hair and eyes. She is twenty eight years of age, and stands at 5'4", hardly very imposing whatsoever. It is difficult to see an Olympic athlete in this bumbling ball of eccentrics, but it becomes very clear when she takes to the field. She is very confident and bright, with a massive need for causing mischief and problems wherever she steps. Her rebellious nature truly came out from the age of thirteen, and it was from then that she started to break away from her mother's insistence of being a proper young lady. She decided to pursue athletics, and went from oddity to oddity from there on out. A naturally kind and caring soul, she loves her family with all her heart, but she loves to embarrass them all in equal measure. More specifically, she loves riling up the youngest in the family, for no other reason than 'it's funny when you get flustered!'. She is not very book smart, but her true knowledge and expertise lies in the more practical aspects of life. Her common sense is bar none, and she has marvellous instincts. That, and she is surprisingly creative. She loves singing and dancing, both hobbies having a positive effect on her athletic career for varying reasons. She is notoriously stubborn, much like her mother, and when she sets her sights on something, her path isn't shaken no matter what. She is very loud, and loves to make it known to everybody when she enters a room. Her promiscuous nature is very evident as well, as she typically flirts with everyone she first meets rather heavily until she gets to know them better. She knows when to tone everything down, as part of her inate mothering instinct borne out of her sheer compassion, and has always been there for her siblings through their hardships as much as she could; being the mother figure that they lacked while growing up. She doesn't resent her parents for being busy, and is entirely understanding of their situaton and necessity to perform up to standards set upon them by their varied families. She acts as a scapegoat of sorts, for the naysayers to focus upon her and her eccentricity to make the rest of her family positively shine by comparison.

Marceau Darcel Raydon Fanchone Delacroix
The Eldest Son

Full Body

CHARACTER BLURB
| Trope: Cutie Patootie, Master Debator, The Tall One, Ambitious | Personality Type: ENTP - The Debator | Nationality: French | Known Languages: French, English, Japanese, Belgian |
Name Musings: Same methodology as the rest in his family. 'Marceau' means 'Hammer', 'Darcel' means 'Dark', 'Raydon' means 'Counselor', 'Fanchone' means 'Free' and 'Delacroix' means 'Of the Cross'.

Literally towering above the rest of his relatively short family at 6'0", Marceau is noticeable in a crowd immediately. Like his father, he has a kind of charismatic pull to him which leaves people wishing to be in his company, through no conscious effort of his own. His distinct dark purple hair is a trait also inherited from his father, and his matching indigo eyes are inherited from his mother. Somewhat lanky due to his height, this twenty five year old doesn't scream of being very scary or imposing in spite of towering over most people he meets. He is almost always seen with a smile on his face, and for an extravert, he is surprisingly insular. He enjoys spending time alone, and when in social circles, he would much rather stay quiet and listen to everything going on around him. When he does speak, therefore, it is with such gravitas that he commands the room, something which his father also does. He is aptly described as an introverted extravert. He is perhaps the most ambitious of the Delacroix siblings, with his sights set high and aiming for the top in a very cut-throat field; politics. While he appears very nice, sweet and kind, he can turn in an instant and become quite the opposite. He has learnt this through political in-fighting to get him where he really belongs, way up at the top. As his personality type may suggest very heavily, he adores debating things, even things that are known as fact. He simply loves questioning everything that is said to him, which drove his previous nannies and his parents absolutely bonkers. He is very thirsty for knowledge, a trait he shares with his younger sister, and the pair of them often spent time together in the mansion library reading all sorts of texts to satisfy their interests. He knows when it is good to lay low and be the submissive part of a fight, being quite a passive person by nature who has been forced into situations in which he has to be ruthless. He would much rather do nothing but curl up into a ball when real conflict is place on the table, beyond a healthy debate. He is quite a conservative young man, , but also very fluid and flexible. He knows that, in their family, there are certain things to uphold and he does his very best to fit that ideal, strong man that his culture paints as the perfect male figure. By no means a tough guy, he puts across the stoic and quiet, analytical and mysterious front very well.

Laurent Beale Ignace Cendrillon Delacroix
The Youngest Son

Full Body

CHARACTER BLURB
| Trope: Devilishly Handsome, Lady's Man, Most Exciting Law Student Ever, Prince Charming | Personality Type: ESTP: The Entrepreneur | Nationality: French | Known Languages: French, English, Japanese |
Name Musings: Same methodology as the others in the family. 'Laurent' means 'From the place of laurel trees', 'Beale' means 'Handsome', 'Ignace' means 'Of the Fire', 'Cendrillon' means 'Of the Ashes' and 'Delacroix' means 'Of the Cross'.

This twenty four three old has already broken countless hearts, both knowingly and unknowingly. Laurent takes after his mother solely in appearance, with his blond hair and indigo eyes, and his height is nothing particularly noteworthy, standing at 5'9". He appears very "pretty", which is part of the reason why so many girls are hopelessly attracted to him, and he is a very, very vain person. He cares deeply about how he appears to others, whereas his siblings aren't too bothered about this sort of thing. It is as if his mother's constant nagging about appearance sank into solely him, tenfold. When he tells people that he studies Law, of all subjects, they literally cannot believe him. He certainly doesn't look the part of a Law student; the typical stereotype of those sorts of people are quiet, subdued, very bookish types. Laurent, in spite of his sheer lack of common sense and hilarious clumsiness, is very book smart. He excels in mental work, and this is why he is so good at what he does. He isn't ambitious like his brother, but he is awfully competitive. He loves challenging people to well-calculated bets (always in his favour, of course), and he is... an awful loser. He is a very emotional, dramatic kind of guy, and feels everything in full force, 24/7. The siblings joke that he even acts overly exasperated when he sleeps. His initial desires were not to enter Law, but he did so because he wants nothing but the best for his family. He loves each one of them with all of his over-dramatic heart, and would do anything to change their current situation. He gets frustrated that he cannot do more, and is instead allowing his younger sibling to take the brunt of it all on her shoulders, but he does what he can by excelling in the forced studies he was pushed into. His forced shows of grandeur are indeed just a show, and is actually quite a sweet and sensitive kind of guy (which only makes the girls like him more when they find out).
