Queen Harmonia, First of Her Name, Ruler of the Realm
|
Man, betrayals really sucked. Shortly after finally finding the information that she sought about her origins, one certain platinum blonde Loli lady was reading the bright screen of her tablet device. On it, there was an email displayed which included a huge mess of information. Since her leaving the islands of Elysium, there had been a multitude of discoveries and quick solutions. Kimiko, a woman that Alana viewed to be a friend, had been secretly plotting to overthrow Elysium, kill Mercutio (the man protecting her beloved school in the first place) and take world domination. And while she could get behind world domination, she could never abide those who were deceitful. She screwed up her face with disgust, as if she had been sucking on a slice of lemon far too tart, and turned to the Amazonian woman, Katrina, who had been travelling Europe with her. The two of them were sat in Edinburgh’s airport, ready to embark on a multitude of flights and boat journeys to reach the archipelago of her lover’s design. “This sure is a pain…” The sorceress sighed, leaning back in the uncomfortable airport seat and locking her tablet while Katrina smiled; shifting her travelling backpack a little better onto her knees. “For you, perhaps. But I feel as though your solution will truly bring something fresh and necessary to those children.” The tigress chuckled, and before long, they were boarding the first flight of the day. After stop-overs in Spain, Turkey, China, and finally reaching the Philippines, the travelling duo finally reached a small, non-descript port on the far reaches of an island there. One of Elysium’s residents had been sent out with a vessel, and immediately recognised the petite lady to be Ignacia; proclaimed leader and overseer of Alana, the largest isle of Elysium. Without a word exchanged but a wide smile shot her way, he allowed the pair to board the ship and they pushed away into the dead of night. Numerous days of travel after first setting out from Scotland, and Alana was back on the sands of the first real place she had started to refer to as ‘home’. She breathed deeply and exhaled with a somewhat dreamy smile on her face as they touched down in the port of the island that was her namesake, ignoring Katrina’s knowing smile and chuckle as they departed the boat. Next came the relatively long walk down the paved road that led to the island’s centre, and on the outskirts of the populated parts of this man-made location, was the school of villainy disguised as a correctional facility; Yoshizawa High. It hadn’t functioned as a pretend correctional facility for quite some time; not since WISH found out about the deeds that Mercutio had done and had his Heroics license revoked. And indeed, since Kimiko’s assassination to make an example of what happened to those who betrayed Adrestia’s trust, the school had been lacking direction. As a teacher of this establishment, Alana came jetting back as soon as she was able to discuss and decide on the future of this place. Her journey had truly changed her previously straight-forward mind-set, and now she was reconsidering the school’s whole mission, while thinking of her own students. Her thoughts went to Brent, who had been cast out of society due to fear, to Joshua whose quirk was an uncontrollable force when active… there were likely other students of the school who had genuinely wanted to reform, and felt rejected by the rest of the world. Not everybody here wanted or aspired to be the greatest Villain of their own design; others simply wanted personal growth, development, and the power needed to turn the tables on the world at large. She started smirking to herself as she stood outside of the school gates, and then strode confidently inside the grounds. Nobody came to stop or inhibit her, and she made her way straight to the staff lounge where she remembered having the first-ever meeting as a team with her fellow teachers and late Principal. There was a great deal of planning to complete… The school had been without a Principal for all of five days when Alana returned, and simply acted as housing and accommodation for its students during this time. They were permitted to use the facilities here, but otherwise, they were not being taught while a decision needed to be reached about the facility’s future. And indeed, after calling a meeting of all remaining staff, the recently matured sorceress reached this end. Following contact with Mercutio, he essentially handed all matters of the school off to Alana, and trusted her to make the right choice. They couldn’t afford betrayals and uncertainty in their ranks again; not when they were shaping young lives to whatever end they wished to reach. She would be the new Principal. Changes were swift in the academy; including a new name, vision, direction, and even décor. Previously unused spaces were fixed up and made into specific, well-made rooms for everybody to enjoy. As these changes were going on, the new Principal of the freshly named Alternative Order Academy (AOA for short) called a school-wide meeting inside the building itself. She requested that all students and staff should join her in the newly-dubbed recreation room. Currently, it was freshly painted with plenty of comfortable seating ranging from armchairs, couches, and beanbags scattered about. Alana was stood at the rear of the room, arms folded and looking out across the clean, fresh canvas ahead of her; the room, and students alike whenever they made their appearance. At her sides were the staff, and newly-named Vice Principal to assist her in school matters. For the moment, they were alone. “Sure does feel weird to be with all of you like this again.” She muttered to the group beside her with a small chuckle, turning to smile at the trio. Sonomi, one of her closest friends within the organisation of Adrestia, was Alana’s right-hand-woman now. Hiroaki remained at the school loyally, too, and was also someone that she enjoyed the presence of. She was even immensely glad to see the somewhat stoic Grigori still here. It was very likely that the rest of their original staff team had also been Kimiko’s followers in deceit; hence them all leaving the school in a hurry. “Your support in all of this is much-appreciated! If you need to go over anything else with me, don’t hesitate to ask. This will all be a pretty big work in progress as we go ahead, but I trust you all to help teach the next generation of revolutionaries.” She addressed her staff team again with a trademark smirk of hers, and then turned to the doors as they were opened with the first students starting to arrive. “Come on in!! Nice to see all of ya again!” Alana called loudly to whoever was first to arrive, and gestured for subsequent students to take a seat. When she had the student body present, she would make a start with some pretty important explanations, and answer any questions as they came. This was it; the start of something revolutionary!! The persistent question that would roam through Khari's mind was which of his teachers the craziest out of the staff , currently at the top standing Ignacia even if he hadn't seen her for the longest period of time. Time escaped from him for a brief moment taking a glimpse into the past when he first arrived on the island for the entrance exams and just how dangerous she was instructing an exam , like who seriously would think of a hot gooey rock-climbing wall? Leaving the past behind once again he'd focus on the present reality which was the changes within the school and too the school he should say. With the headmistress being his home-room teacher he bared witness to his teacher's throat being torn out by foreign visitors who even took over the class until they disappeared in a crimson flare. Since then he'd attempt to live his best life possible on the school grounds even hosting after-hour activities something which didn't live up to it's full potential after the phone-call he received and messages. There hadn't been a single word back yet since the mysterious man called him about his sister using her as a leverage piece of his head. His sister could be starving at that very moment and he wouldn't even be able to help her....he was stuck at school. Leaving the student housing area he'd make his way into the main building into the staff's lounge , where he'd be met with the glowing Ignacia and other staff he failed to meet over the course of the week. She was just as loud as he imagined causing him to do a one-finger ear cleaning. She'd invite him in seeing as he was the first to arrive , ' Geez Big Boss , isn't their an off switch on you somewhere ' , covering her face with the palm of his hand as he made way looking for a seat somewhere where he would be able to use his phone discreetly. ' Never have I ever met someone with a personality that actually glows. Your shampoo must have special glitter or something'. After taking his seat he'd scroll through the list of pictures he was sent of his younger sister . Analyzing the backgrounds for different shadow displacements or entry's of light. He couldn't find a single hint in the pictures to dictate a single radius his sister could be hauled up in. Sucking his teeth and slumping back in the chair felt like the only thing. Man, what a drag. Everything was such a pain. Marie hadn't heard in her boyfriend for ages after their last big fight. Apparently she was just a bit too demanding or needy or impatient. She couldn't remember since she deleted his number off her phone. Then typed it back in. Then deleted it again. Then reentered it to text she was sorry. Then deleted it after sending a middle finger emoji. She was complicated, deal with it. Over all her mood couldn't have been fouler these last few days. She remembered the big shock and awe of the teacher getting trashed in her last class then she just kind of zoned out. She wasn't into crazy stuff like that and it had all just totally killed her vibe after she had finally gotten to rage again. Marie rolled her shoulder and tested out her tennis shoes to make sure they felt good on her feet. There was some stupid meeting or whatever for he school. Marie didn't care that much but she figured she could hit that, tune out whatever loser was gonna run the place now, then go for a run or something. Clear her head, everything always felt so much better when she could run and move. Serious like, what were her parents thinking falling for this bogus correctional academy. They had told her they could make her into a villain, which Marie didn't care about. Then that poser off and got herself killed. What was this place supposed to be now? Well, it didn't matter. Marie would serve her time then go do something else. She was never really tied down anywhere after all. She hit the new rec room and had to admit that it looked nicer than before. So far she only saw one other student here, going off of age, so she plopped her pretty tush down next to him. As she moved small trails of pink and purple light wafted in the air around her. Her quirk naturally gave off small light shows at every movement. Even sitting down a small puff of light came off her as if dust from the seat. She made herself comfortable, kicking up her feet on the nearest table, and gave him an unimpressed glance before looking at the teach that seemed to be in charge. "So who ez this?" Marie asked the boy by her side, her french accent thick when spoken in English. As she asked she pulled out a small brick of bubble gum and tossed it into her mouth, chewing loudly until she could blow out a fair sized bubble and then pop/suck it back into her mouth for further chewing. All in all, she was the picture of teenage rebellion. A pretty one too. Summary

Ketsueki was slowly losing faith in this academy as it seemed pretty unstable. On his first day at the school, his entrance examiner had to leave for unknown reasons and a substitute took that person’s place. It was somewhat like they were unprepared for that day. Then, when he got accepted and attended the first day of his school, the principal herself was assassinated and was replaced with substitutes again. After that day, school has been silent about what’s to happen for a while. Maybe all of this really was Kimiko’s fault for just being a traitor and all but maybe someone should have kept an eye on her from the beginning if she had such a high position despite not being completely loyal. Whatever the case was, Ketsueki wasn’t really able to form a solid opinion on all this since he lacked information. Hopefully the next person in charge would be able to get the school in check properly. The students were called in for a meeting at the recreational room a few days after the assassination of Kimiko. It must have been something important since it was the first thing the students have heard since the failure of a first day. Ketsueki got himself ready for the assembly, just staying simple with what his attire was going to be. He just put on a pair of denim pants and a plain white T-shirt. With that, he set out for the recreational room in the school proper. On his way to the room, he noticed that a bunch of the halls have been redecorated from what it looked like the last time he walked around these halls. He thought it was a bit of weird that decorations were one of the prioritized things to be changed within that short amount of time of a few days. It wasn’t too much of a big deal for him so he continued on towards the recreational room. When he got there, he opened the door and there he saw a bunch of people at the back of the room who he assumed to be the staff. One of them stood out among the rest. There was this girl who was really short and looked to be the same age as him or maybe just one or two years older than him. Despite this, she was there with the other people who looked like the other staff members of the school. “Morning.” He said in a monotone manner and loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. He turned his head to the side to see that two of his classmates were already there and no one else yet. “I guess I’m a bit early.” He said to himself. He walked towards the area where his classmates were seated as he didn’t want to be alone and be labelled as someone who isn’t sociable. He did this even if one of the people he was approaching was Marie, one of his classmates that he didn’t like, for obvious reasons. He sat next to Marie, and greeted, “Hey Marie, Khari.” He looked back at the people at the back of the room and turned back to the others and asked, “You guys know what this assembly is all about?” Ketsueki assumed that they were already informed on what he asked about. summary

What would only five days felt like weeks as Raenia was off the heels of her first class, a big fight, and nursing her wounds from the fight. Honestly, she was thankful that the infirmary was as good as it was, she would have been so pissed if she needed to be in a hospital bed for god knows how long. While not one hundred percent, any major damage was taken care of as she now only had to let her body rest and relax. The days she has dedicated to rest was also used to begin changing the school, she would have probably been the last to actually find this out, but that was not anything she typically cared about, she already expected as such. Kimiko was killed five days ago by some kid, a fox, and a goose that spoke ebonics. She still had no idea as to who they are, what role they play at this school, or why they killed Kimiko, to begin with, she didn't necessarily care either, but that was a thing that happened. From the murmurs around the school, apparently, Kimiko was planning some shady shit against the owner or leader of this island? Honestly, Raenia could not be bothered to give an iota of a fuck, none of it really concerned her, she barely knew Kimiko to give a damn about her dying or being a traitor. If she could give a compliment, she could say that she like when the bitch chunk a book at two of the other students and made two others fight, that was a good start to class, honestly. There was supposed to be some sort of big event or some shit happening and Raenia wanted nothing to do with it. Sadly, she had no other choice as she really had no other choice in the matter. Staring at the mirror along the back of her closet door, eyes narrowed as she wanted to find any noticeable bruising from the fight. Honestly, she was fortunate to have so much fur, it hid her shame well. Having to get your ass beat at your own fucking school was dreadful, honestly, but it was nothing Raenia couldn't handle. She's taken beatings before, hell, she was jumped by multiple bitches. While this beating was pretty bad, she could only grow from it at this point. It, at the very least, made her realized just how much she's been slacking when it came to training. Acknowledging that she needs more training, that is exactly what she will do, as she owed the paper bitch an ass whooping tenfold. For the time being, she'll do what she has to do to get through this school experience, learn what she cans, grow and refine it into something that fits her personality and goals. As of right now, however, she had to attend this event. Throwing on a pair of beige cargo shorts, and a black short sleeve, she was never one to dress up for these kinds of things. Her fur was an outfit in itself, but she wouldn't dare have something on, too many freaks and pathetic perverts in this day and age. Arriving at the event, she scanned the crowd... if you could call it that, and would notice that all of her homeroom class was already present. Rolling her eyes, she flashes a short gaze to Alana, the apparent leader, not believing her to be someone that she would vision as a President of anything. At least Kimiko had the middle age mother look going for her, Alana still look quite young and it was... alarming. Ignoring that for now, she took her seat and didn't pay the other four much mind, she still didn't like the pink-haired bitch and the sickly boy that wanted to lick her blood, like, what a freak... She was thankful for not being in a class with him now, as it was only going to be her, pinky, and the other boy. Their teacher, some broad named Sonomi, was who took over after Kimiko. With any luck, she wouldn't be a bitch, but you never know. Spoiler: click to toggle

For Brent, the five days following his first day of class had been eye-opening. Less than a week ago he had made the decision to take up the flag of villainy, joining the others in his journey down the morally questionable route. His choice had been one he had been reconsidering in his free time. He had gotten caught up in the heat of the class at first, letting himself become swayed by the honey'ed words of his teacher. But as time progressed he had come to realize how right that route had felt. Not needing to hold back, learning how to properly harness his abilities rather than suppress them. That class had given him a glimmer of a life he could actually enjoy, the fact that it felt so wrong was just another reason to pursue it. When Brent had heard of the assassination of the principal, he wasn't sure how to feel. His first interaction with her was her attempt of throwing him into a bloody game of capture the flag, pitting him against his classmates as he was forced to scar and injure his peer with his flames. While he owed her for pulling together this school, the were no tears shed by him upon hearing of her passing. Deafening himself to further news, he answered the summons blind to what was happening. He was surprised to find his teacher, Alana, had called the meeting. What more, she was now standing in as the Principal, a fact that put Brent at ease. With her in charge, the shaky stability of this establishment would be solidified, this school wasn't going away any time soon. Joining his other classmates in welcoming her as the new defacto leader of this motley gang of rebels, Brent kept silent as others spoke up, burning with questions. Summary

Phoebe hadn't really known what to make of the information that their previous principal had not only been planning on betraying them but that she had also been assassinated. Were they going to be sent back home? It didn't seem that was the case as they had been allowed to stay at the island and live for the past several days. She figured they were still getting everything sorted out, but until then Phoebe had thought just waiting around was incredibly boring. She didn't particularly care who ran the place, but as long as she was at the school she wanted to actually be learning, or doing something at least. Finally, an announcement was made to all the students that her homeroom teacher Ignacia was going to become the new president. Phoebe thought it was a pretty good choice; the woman was pretty cute after all. Much cuter than the previous president, she had to say. At any rate, she and all the other students were now being called to the school's new recreation center for an important assembly and, given how bored she was and how she had no reason to skip, Phoebe put on a particularly cute outfit and bounced on over to the meeting place. "Looks like a lot of them are already here." She stepped inside to see several of her fellow students standing there along with the school's staff. Phoebe entered the room and went to stand next to Brent. She hadn't socialized much with her classmates as of yet and she felt most familiar with the hot-headed boy. Along with the others Phoebe waited in silence for the new president to say what she needed to say. Summary

Sonomi couldn’t begin to possibly think on how to react when the news hit her about Kimiko’s death. It surprisingly wasn’t how one would react, nor was Kimiko’s death the reason she’d been so… so angry either. With each punch towards a shark did her eyes brightly shine against the submissive creatures in hopes it’d tell them an answer. She was like everyone else… she wanted to… Her voice growling in frustration as she connected another one, popping it directly in its gills as she huffed towards herself. That fucking bitch wanted to use me. I shouldn’t of bothered… Fuck her. Fuck her. Fucking FUCK HER. She loudly thought before placing a more well timed punch towards the same shark she had popped in the gills. To think I tried opening up to her… I should of known. I should of fucking known… Sonomi’s voice said as she tried not to crumble down and swim back towards the beach to leave the sharks alone till another day. The news of Kimiko’s intentions were released to a few people, Sonomi unfortunately being one of them, while hearing news of Alana’s return as well. Killing Mercutio, overthrowing Elysium… Why would Kimiko try to do that when she was protected by them? By HER even since Adrestia had been a crucial part for the school’s well being. This feeling she had was something different, more sporadic and more volatile compared to how she felt towards the African Elections. Normally the young woman hadn’t been one to overuse such vulgar language no matter the situation - but this was different. All of how she felt was just different considering all the times she interacted with Kimiko flashed by her mind in an instant. “I should of killed her myself…” Feral words like that of an animal escaped her lips as she sat with her knees pressed against her flat chest. Hell, Sonomi couldn’t recall the last time she’d ACTUALLY gotten angry at someone unless she counted her sister. The thought of her showing up to just merely leave without so much as a word towards her… cowards, the lot of them. “Gra-.... Kimiko. I hope you’re having fun cooking down there.” She hated spewed through her lips as she slowly stood up and looked out towards the Elysium waters and heading back towards her room. Still rather angry and potentially volatile, she instructed the twins to go outside and play for a bit as she took that time to change clothes and calming down. Minutes going by before she got a message on her cell that hadn’t been used in God knows how long. “. . .?” When she further inspected her phone to go towards the source of the noise, it was from Alana surprisingly enough. What’s more was what the message was ABOUT, a certain sentence freezing Sonomi as she had to read it multiple times on end. “Vice principal?...” She did want to help these kids and if Alana was going to go through with this by ignoring all of what that bitch Kimiko did - then Sonomi would see it through alongside her. “Yeah, count me in Alana. Let me know when we’ll start and I’ll be there.” She hazily responded with her phone before taking deep breaths and plopping onto her bed with her eyes facing the ceiling. She hadn’t been to that academy in a long while, not since the exams that is. “I need to have faith.” The young woman said to herself upon recalling how Alana was as a person, nodding weakly to herself before closing her stressed eyes to await for the day orientation was to start. Five days passed before Sonomi was to take wearily steps into the newly reformed school and see Alana in person after so long. The rather anxious girl wore contacts like usual, her outfit to be rather suitable for their orientation as she heaved in dryly. She was still the short stack and funnily enough, the youngest teacher, as she continued to admire and explore along the aesthetically pleasing walls while thinking about how this would all go down. It was such a surprise that people worked fast in getting rid of whatever garbage the late principal tried to create within the building, whether that was Alana or someone else had her giving props either way. Sonomi's outfit When she entered the room where they were all to meet, Sonomi laid eyes on the other teachers and the principal herself. “Wow, we sure lost a good bit of people since last time.” The first words that left her mouth before slowly meeting with the other teachers. It must’ve been obvious that the other teachers who had showed up at the first meeting must’ve been with the old hag upon seeing only a few remaining since then - probably worried about their death if they got their hands on them. She listened to the principal talk while her arms were crossed before inching closer to Alana to smile towards her comment. “Right? It feels rather surreal but I’m glad to see you all again. Especially you, Sis.” The shorter girl ( You can do this… A quick refresher thought towards herself before a few students already flooded into the room to take their appropriate seats. “Welcome, please take a seat and wait patiently for everyone to file in.” She repeated a few times to students who flooded in and even waving softly to the ones who were already seated. She still looked to be overall nonchalant about the whole thing despite five days ago at the beach, which, she was going to wait to talk to Alana in private about. “When we’re all settled in, Alana or myself will answer any questions and/or concerns you have regarding new changes.” She finally said upon hearing a few of them confused as they spoke amongst themselves. While she stood there to help assist did her eyes lightly glow in a passive manner, not really to be meant as a form of intimidation but more or less something that just naturally happened from what she could tell. This was their chance to reform the rather poorly maintained establishment, and she along with Alana were going to do their damnedest to make that possible! Summary!

Here we are again. Another bright and early morning on this isolated island. The sky barely had any clouds today, and the sun was a blinding white above the island. The heat was intense but perfect for working up a good sweat. That was exactly what Joshua was doing yet again, working up a good sweat with an early morning jog. This was part of the routine he developed for his stay here on the island’s school. Unfortunately, the school part wasn’t very true anymore, at least not yet. For most of the past week, classes were cancelled and there was no news as to what would happen to their new school. The only thing that the students heard was the principal of the school was a spy and a traitor, leading to her death. Joshua couldn’t help but feel confused about the whole thing though. She was Kimiko Yoshizawa, she founded the school in her own name. Why would she need to spy on something she created herself? Of course, Joshua didn’t really care too much since he didn’t really know her. The only time he saw her was the entrance exams a while back. Even then, he preferred his new Homeroom teacher, Ms. Ignacia, over the late Yoshizawa. So, overall, he didn’t really care much about what happened. Honestly, he was more concerned about their class schedule. There had been no news about the continuation of classes now that the principal had died. It’s already been five days since the first day of classes yet the teachers were busy settling what was going to happen to the school. Of course, Joshua decided to keep busy though. He always started his day with a nice, long jog like this one. Afterwards, he would shower and spend most of the day with Christi, learning from all of her brilliant and dangerous experiments. Of course, he also tried to pitch in and help wherever he could, even though most of this super scientific stuff was too complex for him. It made him appreciate her more, she was truly a brilliant scientist. Of course, every scientist needs a break every now and then, and Joshua was always ready to help her relax and cool off a bit. Then, he left after dinner to give her some alone time to focus on her experiments without distractions. Right after, he would visit Ketsy or Khari to see if they wanted to hang out for a bit. If not, he would just head back to his dorm and relax with some music and some good reading. In the past week, he was reading up on German. He figured it would be a nice gesture to talk to her in her native language. That and, it would be nice to understand her fully. Sometimes she tends to switch between English and German so some of her message might get lost in translation, at least to him. Either way, he was trying to learn German in his spare time. Today was different though. As he finished his early morning jog and started his shower, he received news about a meeting in a new recreational room. He knew it was gonna be news about the classes so he tried his best to rush his shower. Hopefully he wouldn’t be too late. He quickly put on his clothes, a simple grey shirt and jeans. Afterwards, he would head straight for the recreational room, keeping an eye out for Christi the whole way there. He arrived a little after Phoebe did. He noticed that a lot of the other students already arrived, including Ketsy, Khari, Brent, and some of the others. He waved to the three of them as he considered them to be his close friends, well, most of them. He was starting to warm up to Brent but they still had a ways to go. One thing he did notice though, was that Christi didn’t arrive yet. He wondered if she was gonna be here soon or if she maybe overslept from working all night. Maybe he should’ve gone by to look for her first. He was considering leaving but Alana said to take a seat. He decided to follow and he sat down next to Phoebe, saving the next seat for Christi. He wasn’t paying any attention to the staff in front or the students beside him right now, instead staring at the entrance of the recreational room in case Christi was going to show up soon. summary

It had been 5 days since Christina’s new school life had begun, and already had it been an eventful time. The young mad scientist had quickly become enamoured with the idea of a villainous academy, one where she could learn useful and intriguing skills alongside peers who she could actually (kind of) get along with. Indeed, after only her first lesson, Christina had come to like the place. And then she’d met Joshua again. Perhaps her most ambitious experiment, one could say. Her ‘monster’ being in the school only intensified the Germanic girl’s desires to remain there, so news of the death of the principal had been initially concerning at first. Of course, things were explained a bit more afterward, and Christi grasped what was happening. Snitches get stitches, was something she had heard was popular among the world of villainy. She didn’t particularly care, as long as the school was still running. All the internal affairs weren’t really something she was particularly interested in, but given that it might directly affect her, Christina did pay attention. It seemed like their new principal and vice principal would be of the isles’ government, but that didn’t concern Christi. She wasn’t bothered by their new leaders being from a place that preached balance. She only desired to learn of chaos. And balance was a state characterised by inherent chaos, so things certainly worked out in that regard. In the interest of picking up whatever else might be important to her, Christina would attend the assembly of sorts that was being held, even if it meant that she had to take a break from working on her gadgets. She’d woken up a little late that morning, on account of spending the previous night making breakthroughs on her tinkering. Christi headed there post haste, keeping an eye out for Joshua. She wasn’t exactly on good terms with her only other classmate, and she’d been too preoccupied with her gadgets to meet anyone else. The only other familiar face that Christi spied was that of Hiroaki, once the bite-sized principal her white-haired companion had let them in. Christina would wave enthusiastically to her pyromanic teacher, the only educater shed ever respected, before turning to look for Joshua again. She spotted him by some other students, and already she could feel her expression twist into a smile. Christi had become more intrigued as of late by the strange ways her body reacted before thought could process, especially around her monster. The girl, wearing a lab coat as usual, hurried over to him. ”Ah, Guten Tag, Joshua!” She declared as Christi took the seat left for her, smiling at him. She felt her body almost pull her forward toward him, desiring to plant a peck on his cheek, but once she noticed the presence of there around her, well... It made her cheeks almost as red as her hair. Christi just brushed her hair aside, chuckling as she normally did, before turning her attention to their new principals. Summary

Grigori didn't know how he was holding himself together. Soon after Kimiko's assassination, he had spent many restless nights searching his residence for anything that could be used to spy on him. After spending two days straight not finding anything significant, he spent the rest of the day in the academy's workshop. While it might have been a clutter of tools, parts, and unfinished projects that the man kept fiddling about with, it might as well have been a zen garden for him. He worked on the mechanical contraptions some, on his lesson plans a little more, updated a few project drafts, and then played a game that had been sitting in his digital library untouched for months. When he tried to fall asleep last night, the paranoia crept back into his head. Am I next? I was just following the money in the first place. He couldn't get his mind off it. Two hours had gone by before he finally got up and took an Ambien to get himself to sleep. When he woke up, or rather, realized what he was doing, it was apparent that the Ambien Walrus had taken him back to his shop and made him dismantle at least two or three of his projects for a reason that he couldn't fathom. He never remembered getting out of bed, the need for sleep now weighing heavy on his shoulders. To his disappointment, he found that it was too late in the day to even catch a nap. He would need to get ready as quickly as possible. He returned to his living quarters in nothing more than a set of Pajamas. Now standing with the other teachers, he was dressed well, but not even that could hide that he looked like he a zombie in that moment. His eyes were squinted- even more so than usual- and bloodshot, his hair was a mess, split strands sticking out like a halo around his head, and mug of straight espresso shots shook slightly in his grasp. When Alana greeted all of them, he could only manage a thoughtless nod at her. When Sonomi did the same, he actually responded: "Morning.." It took him a second to realize what he had just said. Inhaling sharply through the nose, he corrected himself, "I mean, it's good to see you all again. Too." The slav paid no attention to the awkward looks that came his way should they come, and instead took a sip of the espresso sludge that sat in his mug. It was bitter as Sonomi's hatred towards a certain dead woman, but he really needed as much caffeine as he could get. The man would remain quiet as the students trickled in. Summary

It'd been an interesting week, to say the least. Kimiko was dead, the school was taken over and Hiroaki just kinda watched from the sidelines. Apparently, that was why the weird fox kid interrupted his class too. They'd just run into Kimiko's class and killed her, he liked the direct approach. Still, he felt kind of disappointed at the whole deal, especially seeing as the reason she was killed was her plan to kill Mercutio, which he might've been able to get behind in all honesty. After all, he was responsible for the death of several of the only people he'd been close to in the past multiple years and he couldn't help but be at least a little bitter about that. But hey, now he knew that an Adrestia hit squad could pop up at any second if he let that slip. It was also maybe a bit of a disappointment that the school hadn't been abandoned entirely, that would've been a great excuse to burn it to the ground. Good god, it'd been way too long since he'd set a fire, and it was starting to eat at him. He couldn't help but find himself a bit on edge recently, it was getting bad. But he couldn't exactly give in right now, as much as he hated it, he had school stuff to do. On the other side, he was also kind of glad the school stayed. The first class he'd given was fun, despite the small class and interruption, and he'd get through to Rakujo some day. Being a teacher turned out to be more up his alley than he thought, given he could talk about things that interested him at least. But he'd have to put his thoughts on the side for a bit, as he was headed into a short little meeting with what was left of the staff. He made his way into the new rec room, which he had to admit looked pretty good. Thoughts flew into his mind about how well all the stuff in there would burn, but he ignored them as much as he could. Still, those beanbags would just go up so quickly if he just put a light next to them, so much fabric and plastic scattered around, it'd be toxic like a chemical weapons factory but he didn't care about that. There was just so much potential everywhere he looked, he couldn't help at least thinking of what would happen if he did it. It would just get rid of all his worries if he could just toss a lighter into a puddle of gasoline and wish it all goodbye while enjoying the show. His daydreaming was getting worse, he figured. He was as pent-up as he could be, it wasn't entirely his fault how he was. He still had to go talk to the others, though, so he made his way to them. "Yo, yo," he greeted them absentmindedly, a bit shifty-eyed. Listening to the petite woman in charge of him now didn't really work out, as he continued thinking about how much better the room would look if it were just a little more of a hellish inferno, as he only nodded along a little. He did like Alana, if only because of her fire quirk, but he wasn't interested. The other two were there too, but once again he didn't particularly care at the moment. Students came pouring into the room after that, distracting him from his flaming fantasies again. Most of them he didn't really know, just their names, mostly. He did see Christi, one of his students and an enthusiastic one at that. Self-proclaimed mad scientist, and he didn't doubt it for a second. She'd make it far if she didn't end up in jail, potential was written all over her. He returned her wave, giving a smile to go along with it. It'd been the first smile he'd had the whole day, it was nice. Anyway, he didn't feel like talking to anyone, so he crashed onto one of the beanbags sitting on the floor, fishing a lighter out of his pocket and absentmindedly flicking it on and off in his hand. It might get boring after a second, but the tiny little orange flame shooting from its top was as mesmerizing as always for now. Summary

Queen Harmonia, First of Her Name, Ruler of the Realm
|
Before the students started arriving, Alana addressed her reduced staff team with positivity and enthusiasm as always. It was a shame that they were low on the ground after Kimiko’s betrayal was unearthed, but she would rather have a trusted few as opposed to an unreliable horde. That being said, she had yet to fully evaluate the trust of both Hiroaki and Grigori, but they both seemed willing to partake in the school’s changes after their initial staff meeting about it all. She’d just have to keep her eyes on them while everything moved ahead. She grinned lopsidedly at Sonomi who had taken up a position at her right-hand-side, folding her arms over her chest and tilting her head somewhat towards the youthful Erasure user. The grin quickly faded and gave way to a small flush as her companion referred to her by the nickname of ‘sis’, unable to stop from jumping very quickly to the fact that Sonomi called Mercutio ‘bro’. In a lot of ways, Adrestia was one big dysfunctional family, so it was nice to be referred to with such familiarity. And yet… wasn’t it practically incest, considering Alana’s relationship with Mercutio? She decided not to dwell upon it, and instead cleared her throat softly as her new Vice-Principal mentioned hearing about the trip to Europe. “Don’t worry, I’ll tell you everything that I learned and the asses I kicked while I was away.” She chuckled, the earlier grin back on her lips as her head lowered somewhat as if deep in reminiscence of the bizarre journey she had undertaken to find out about her heritage. Quick to leave those thoughts behind, however, she turned to acknowledge the reactions of both Hiroaki and Grigori. The former was as cheery as ever, and just as casual; choosing to take up a seat for himself with a lighter, which made Alana sweatdrop the tiniest amount. As long as he didn’t set any of their new furniture or the fresh paint alight, she didn’t care too much. Oh, and the students would be better when not burned to a crisp, too… that aside, Grigori seemed to be groggy and disorientated as he addressed his fellow staff. The platinum blonde smiled and nodded her head, deciding not to ask her fellow faculty member what had him so exhausted. And it was just as well, because their students started to arrive. Beside her, Sonomi requested that the kids all take a seat and then they’d be able to ask some questions about the changes that would be taking place around campus. The first to enter was Khari; a face that Alana was familiar with due to being his exam proctor. His comedic remark about her being loud would have perhaps scorned others, but she laughed at the joke heartily and shot the youth a wide grin… especially when he proceeded to talk about her personality positively glowing. “Pft, there’s no beauty product around that allows for this sparkle, Khari.” She flipped her long hair dramatically, and then nodded her head at the youth. “It’s good to see you again!” The next few faces that filed inside the recreation room were ones that she vaguely remembered, but due to not meeting them personally, she couldn’t place any of their names. Nevertheless, she smiled widely with her arms folded and keeping a strong, authoritative pose while the others entered and found seats. Finally, she spotted some more familiar faces; those who belonged to homeroom class. Before her leave of absence, they had only had a couple of classes together before they were left with lessons that Hiroaki and Grigori took turns to teach, and then came Kimiko’s betrayal. The schooling had come to a halt after that, and she knew how much that would frustrate some of her students. They were pretty keen to become the best Villains possible, and to make something big out of themselves. She offered Brent, Phoebe and Joshua extra wide smiles, and a wave of her hand as they entered and took their places. And before long, there they all were; the entirety of the uniquely selected student body. Alana noticed a few missing faces, and she was unable to think about whether they had been in cahoots with Kimiko or not. Perhaps they had just decided to flee somehow through the school’s security measures; likely getting stranded on their way off the island. Boats would only ferry those that were members of Adrestia, or with special mention from the school. That being said, the petite Principal was looking to change a lot of regulations around the place to allow for more freedoms, and she had no doubt that the kids would appreciate it. “Alright, welcome to this humble ol’ assembly, everyone!” Alana addressed the students when everybody was seated, stepping forward with a small flourish and bow of her head in their direction. “As Sonomi mentioned, my name is Alana. You can all call me Ignacia; my chosen name of Villainy, and one plastered on many posters bearing my name worldwide.” She grinned, unfolding her arms and instead beginning to gesticulate mildly when she spoke. For one so small, she had a loud and clear speaking voice, plus a rather charismatic disposition which made her difficult to ignore. Between that and her more informal manner of address, she tended to be relatively easy to listen to. And she didn’t want to brag, but… most people tended to find her at least a little bit enjoyable, too. “But, I didn’t call everybody here for jokes, I’m afraid.” She paused and stopped still upon realising that she had been pacing somewhat; another speaking habit of hers. “The previous Principal of this school betrayed our trust, and wanted to use all of you to drag herself up to becoming the world’s Number One Villain. When her previous scheme of passing this off as a correctional facility fell through, she turned to dirty tactics.” Her tone was a little more serious, but she proceeded to shrug her shoulders. “Members of Adrestia caught wind of this shortly after I left on my expedition, and she was assassinated. Those who are protecting this school from WISH don’t look kindly upon betrayal and underhanded behaviour, yanno?” She held up her hands to accompany her shrug, and she went back to pacing a small amount as she gestured that she was not yet done with her speech. “Those of you who took part in my entrance exam, and are in my homeroom class will understand one thing about me… I’m all for dominating the world, showcasing the power of Villains and anybody else not accepted by society! But, the only way we can do that while the entire world looks down on us, is to achieve it as a unit.” Alana brought her hands together in a meshing motion, looking at the students overtop her clasped hands with a smile back on her face. “I was asked to oversee this school, and make sure that none of you have to go back to society to be put in prisons and stifled. I want to unlock all of your potential and help you grow.” With specific emphasis on this final word, she lowered her hands altogether; holding her arms at each of her sides instead. “Our new direction is simple. We’ll nurture your aspirations, and provide you with the means to get stronger in whatever way you wish. You can want to be a Villain, a Bounty Hunter, Hero Killer, Con Artist… whatever you desire!! The one condition is that we won’t be raising future Heroes here. The Hero society is the one that sent you here to be ‘corrected’ when they were just scared of your power.” Alana nodded solemnly, coming back to stand at the centre of her pacing trajectory, turning to face the full student body with a smirk wide on her face. “We’ll offer you choice when the world wasn’t going to give you any! Unlike under the Yoshizawa banner, you’ll have more freedom to leave the school, train and grow as you see fit.” It was a well-known fact throughout the student body that nobody was allowed to leave the school; no matter what the circumstances. It was one of the first things that Alana wished to change, with the proper precautions, of course. WISH was still hot on their heels, and the only thing they had going in their favour at present was that Adrestia was providing protection, and the majority of the school’s population was children. Although corrupt in its highest ranks, even WISH wouldn’t directly give an order to destroy a building filled with kids. “Now, that’s my spiel all out of the way; the boring parts. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be re-modelling the school in its entirety to better fit with the new mission we have. We’ll also be unveiling a new laboratory, a gadget-making workshop, a library, brand new training facilities… in short, we aren’t just pursuing our own selfish ambitions like Ms. Yoshizawa was. Our focus is you; the future of chaos and disarray in society.” She lightly cleared her throat after rising to a crescendo of excitement, unable to help herself. A wide grin spread on her face, and she started enthusiastically moving around between the chairs to see if any of the students had questions. “Like Sonomi said, we’ll be answering whatever questions you have! But first, I’d like for my faculty to introduce themselves.~” She chimed and turned back to look at the trio of staff with a bright smile, mischief and excitement playing in her colour-changing eyes. Sweet Baby Lemon Hands, the wizard, is here to the rescue!
|
It appeared they were missing a few kids, whether they had slept in or ran away like some of the teachers had left the white haired woman confused. There wasn’t a reason why a student would of been scared to show up for their grand orientation, right? Perhaps they were merely frustrated at how the school had been run till now? It made complete sense when the woman began slowly piece the facts upon instructing students to their seats. Sonomi hadn’t gotten the full details just yet about the classes and how Kimiko ran them, but with the new renovations did it seem they could change those who could of been deterred from bad first impressions. “Keep the PDA at a minimum, please. If you’re going to do it, do it outside.” Regarding the statement’s message did Sonomi try her best to convey it in a joking fashion, her eyes landing on the girl and boy who had showed up near the end of the flock before lightly nodding her head towards their direction. Once most of the kids were all gathered inside and properly in their seats did it seem the orientation was about to begin, the young vice principal’s eyes glistening against the ceiling lights as she inspected each individual face. There appeared to be a few faces that she recalled seeing at the exams and/or their sheets, but it was to be expected a lot of people’s first reactions went towards their newly found principal Alana. This wasn’t to imply she was jealous of course! Sonomi knew that sooner or later the students who were to be in her homeroom class were going to know her like the back of her hand, or so she thought at the time. First, they’d just need to get the message across that this change was for the better - which, Alana was about to get into right then and there actually as she spoke up towards the students. “Alright, welcome to this humble ol’ assembly, everyone!” When Alana corrected her name to be properly introduced to ‘Ignacia’ did the young woman blush and do a few mental backflips. Clearly embarrassed, did she look down at the ground to try and recompose herself but still pay attention to her dear friend’s words towards the audience. It was something about the platinum haired woman who was her close friend, her voice, that was quite mesmerizing to listen to. Such a demanding voice in a little body, not to mention the rather easy-to-listen to tone, it was no wonder how people garnered her attention and assertiveness! Alana’s small jokes aside did she now begin to pace back and forth between the staff and students to give a more in depth speech towards the future of the school. Her pacing was soon stopped when talking into more serious topics like Adrestia and Kimiko’s death. The white haired woman’s eyes just slowly shifting from the ground towards Alana herself and then towards the students. Her reaction wasn’t distracting from the bigger thing at hand, just slight facial expression that reminded her of the past that she’d want to shrug off if she wanted to move forward. She agreed with Alana that betrayal was something that wasn’t tolerated when she changed topics soon after, even going back into her little pacing fit that Sonomi assumed to be a habit of hers. Nearing the end of Alana’s speech had Sonomi began to fidget in her stance, almost feeling a bit antsy in not saying much to ensure the other small woman got everything she wanted to say out in the open. Not raising heroes, new places within the school’s walls, freedom to wander on the sandy beaches of Elysium, and it was most certainly the key points of Alana’s speech presence that got her to be on board! It was a blessing that there was a sense of relief in knowing that the school would be more or less ‘safe’, added by the fact that IF something was to happen that WISH would hopefully not attack a school full of kids. “Like Sonomi said, we’ll be answering whatever questions you have! But first, I’d like for my faculty to introduce themselves.~” Finally picking up on it being the staff’s turn to introduce themselves in full to their students, Sonomi thought it only fair that the vice principal be the next in line to say her part. Taking a few steps forward and deeply bowing towards the kids who were seated did she wait a moment before talking. “Hello, it is pleasure to finally return after a much needed break.” The woman began to say before raising herself up to nod towards Alana’s direction, “Like A-... Miss Ignacia has stated, or if some of you don’t know, I will be your new vice principal for the school.” The soft tone escaping her lips as she placed her hands just in front of her lap. There was a stark contrast to the rather bold and overwhelming speech presence Alana brought and Sonomi’s overall calm and softness that made the two combined feel like a pair. “You may simply call me by Sonomi. I am a high ranking Adrestian general, your vice principal, and your physical education’s teacher. I can for sure say that with Al- Miss Ignacia and I here, your protection at the academy is at top notch.” Raising a hand of hers to create and pointed hand did she continue, her eyes bouncing from each student as she continued her introduction and main points she wanted to get across for them all. “Before I tell you more about myself, I will list off those who will be in my homeroom class - just so we are all caught up on who goes where.” She at least knew two of them from her exams, her eyes moving towards Raenia and Marie before smiling. Her hand return back to its original position before she pursed her lips to think of the name of the last student before she called them. “Raenia and Marie, you two will be participating in my homeroom class followed by… Khari? You three are the students that I will be spending most of my time with, please don’t make me regret that.” She bluntly said before presenting them with another bow and fixing herself upright. “I am pretty tolerant of most things, however I do go by the rules of respect. All of you, as of right now, have my respect and will be treated as nothing but that.” Sonomi said a bit louder to get anyone’s undivided attention before continuing her focal point, “But, if you start to be disrespectful then I shall do the same. This may be a school, but that does not stop me from ‘physically reprimanding’ you if you get snappy with me. I hope you all can understand where I come from by saying this.” She said in a polite way of saying, ‘if you sass me then I’ll beat your ass’ fashion. “I can fully understand some of you may be upset from the way this school has been ran, but do not take it out on those who are still putting forth their effort to change that. That aside, I will tell you some tidbits regarding who I am and what I do.” Sonomi remained where she stood with her hands occasionally moving to express herself as she spoke, once again her eyes moving to give each student a part of her undivided attention. “Originally, back in America I planned on you being one of the many students I'd be training to be villains.” She quoted the old saying with a sharp hiss in tone considering this was from Kimiko’s own mouth before heaving in a quick breath. “This was what I was first told upon meeting who you all knew to be the late principal. It’s a bit of a shell shock to take it in how one went from student to a teacher, believe me, I was surprised myself.” She jokingly said before using her right hand to rub the back of her neck which cause her sleeve to roll up and expose the shark bites that formed scars she obtained years ago. “You often times take risks to get a bigger gain and possibly more experience, which is why later on, I agreed to become a teacher instead despite my young age. Hopefully my overall maturity can compel you all to not see me as a kid as I’ll be doing my best to see you all as people aspiring for something bigger.” She noticed she was close to rambling if she hadn’t already, shaking her head before adjusting herself accordingly to briefly finish up her introduction. “I often train by punching on sharks, I know that sounds unbelievable but it’s happened. I also spend a lot of my time physically training and taking care of two orphan twins. If any of you would like to freely chat with me and strike up a conversation you can, I don’t bite unlike the shark I have in my office.” She snickered before waving one of her hands about to ease the mood if there was some frightened by the sudden confession. “All in all, it’s because of my experience in physical combat that allows me to be your P.E teacher. I will try my best to make that class fun for you all, and don’t worry, I don’t plan on leaving a second time. I had to leave due to unfortunate events that disabled me to continue helping the school.” The ending statement being made to a few people in particular who noticed Sonomi leave abruptly during their exams Summary!

He'd have to introduce himself? Ugh, he really wasn't feeling like it. The pyro didn't know what he should say in the slightest, but well, he didn't have much of a choice. He put his lighter back in his pocket, pulled himself out of the soft, flammable comfort of the beanbag and walked back over to the rest of the teachers. Alana had just held a massive speech he hadn't listened to, too busy looking at the flame in his hand. He thought it was probably her introduction seeing as he did catch the fact that he'd have to give one too. The even smaller white-haired girl went first, going on and on and on while he just had to stand there, expectations going through the roof. It almost sounded like he missed a memo 2 weeks ago telling them to write a speech beforehand, but he'd just have to make it through this, even if he wasn't exactly focused. None of this would've happened if he'd just burnt down the building during the power vacuum situation. The urge to pull the lighter out of his pocket and start flickering it again was like a teen with their smartphone, but noo, he couldn't. And Sonomi was still going, good lord. Finally she wrapped up, so time for him to hit the stage. He stood in front of all the kids, mentally scrambling for words. "Hey kids, I'm Hiroaki. I teach science, chemistry, that kind of stuff. I like setting things on fire, too. I'll mostly be teaching you that actually. You might not get it right away, but you'll warm up to it soon enough, heh. There's just something about it, so beautiful and strong and.. just, it's great. Really complicated once you get into it, though. It's easy to learn, takes a while to master, you know. Like, there's a lot of stuff you kind of need to get a feel for, but you'll warm up to it." Wait, he'd made that pun twice now in the span of a minute. Great job, he thought to himself. "Anyway, it'll be fun. I'll do my best teaching you guys, I guess. Have fun with the party," he finished off his tiny speech. He could probably use the excuse of not wanting to lose their attention if he was asked why it was relatively short, but he just didn't have much to say, or at least that he wanted to say. So... he stepped back, let the engineer guy do his thing while he kept resisting the urge to light something up. Anything would do, really, anything in the room including the room itself would look so nice. But no, he'd have to behave himself for who knows how much longer, unbearably enough, as he continued phasing in and out of focus. Summary
