Jeez it was cold. It was snowing outside for the first time in a while, and Maze still held that trademark smile across his face, despite shivering and shaking like a leaf. Despite such circumstances being rather uncomfortable to him, he stood outside and let the snow fall on him, as he stood outside in a large black jacket with a symbol on the right shoulder. One that looked like a simple chameleon logo in the middle of what looked to be a castle rook on a giant mound. That was the logo of his own prison, one that he only just now thought of doing because of a new prison recruit's suggestion in order to make the prison more 'appealing' and 'accessible.' The large warden really had no idea that this mattered, but apparently a Chibi Woman's touch was all it took to make the pr

Heck, that bit of prettying up the application process and how accessible this place was what made it hard for the big man to choose from the list of applicants. Though, after scanning through it all, only two names spoke to him, and a third being one already close to them. Having contacted these three people, they would be arriving soon on the prison bus, the only mode of transport that was allowed to cross the six kilometer bridge that connected Stone Chameleon Prison and Edinburgh. Maze was mostly standing in front of the building next to the garages, as he wanted to personally greet the three new arrivals of Stone Chameleon.

Looking at the folder he was given for the initial two recruits, one was a Russian Man who had an interesting hand quirk and was desperately needing a job. Though there wasn't much experience to his name, the quirk was interesting enough to the large Warden as it could be used for suppression. The second man was an X-form, one of the quirk types in the world which seemed to interest the man at large. Usually it was a tough sell as there were plenty more kinds of quirks around the world which can be used for crowd control situations, Maze saw the amazing potential for this Orca man due to the fact that there really were little precautions took for anyone who had an aquatic quirk and actually made it to the ocean for a getaway. That alone made Maze want to give him a chance.

Lastly was his right hand woman in the political world. It took him a bit of convincing to do, but he at least got her to agree to give this a chance. After all, this wasn't going to be a full time placement for her, only to be able to assist whenever she felt that it was currently in her own best interests and possibly whenever she felt bored. Well, it was honestly up to the Chameleon woman as to whether she really wanted to commit to working at the prison, because what she honestly had going for her was a light amount of invisibility. Nothing too terrible honestly, but nothing advantageous. Maze was just amused that he could actually make the Stone Chameleon name fit completely with him being the Stone and Aido hopefully being the Chameleon. Small things like that make the big man chuckle.

But there was nothing for him to do, at least until the prison bus came along with Ruruka sitting at the steering wheel. Maze finally got a bit of an installment to the bus, so that she didn't need to strain herself in reaching the pedals, but it was all worth it when she slowly strolled to a park beside the shutter doors to the Prison Bus storage. Next to said shutter doors was an actual door to the Guard Barracks portion of Stone Chameleon, with Maze waiting there and holding the door open for the guards to be. Ruruka still sitting in the bus seat and waiting for her coworkers to be to stroll off of the bus.

Aido hugged herself as the brisk cold chilled her to her core. Having the anatomical attributes of a reptile meant she was all but miserable in these cold seasons. This was one of the things she despised about leaving Africa, winter was a lot more tolerable there. Watching her breath exit her in a visible plume, she couldn't help but smile a little. When she was born having manifested her grandmother's Chameleon quirk, her mother had named her after a certain mythical beast, the African Rainbow Dragon Aido-Hwedo, as an omen of good luck and prosperity. And her breath visible on the cold morning was this omen coming around full circle. Despite her reptilian nature, Aido was also very lean for a woman her age, many times since entering this country her penchant for androgynous clothing meant she was mistaken for a scrawny young boy. She was quite the contrast to her employer, the towering giant of authority.

Ever since being offered the position as Maze's right hand in politics, she had grown to respect the man and how he lead the country. England had it's issues and he made the occasional mistake, but he pursued everything with such an ingenuous passion, that she often felt herself being swept up along with his passion. That being said, up until now she had kept herself out of his 'pet project' running the prison. Given her... background, she had always found it too sensitive of an issue to breach, but when he came with an offer to work along side him in both careers, she figured it was the perfect opportunity to work toward clearing her name. Plus it meant she could have a hand in ensuring quirk based bigotry stayed off the streets.

Laying back against her seat she looked up, thoughts drifting through her mind as she thought over the last year. She had arrived in England with barely a pound in her pocket and a shoddy resume. Now she was a political figure-head and a person who could make a real change. Where once she was riding in the back of police cruisers for public displays of civil unrest, now she was riding on a prison bus, ready to further her career into rehabilitation. She had felt a bit strange standing on the other side of the glass now, looking down at the world she used to gaze up at with defiance. Perhaps she had grown a little, leaving her immature shell to become who she was today. Things had felt... different. She could barely even remember her last visit to Africa, she had gone for a research trip and woke up a week later back in England. Perhaps she still had some growing left to do after all.

The cold air outside the bus reminded Rasputin of home, although not as cold as the motherland during this time of year. Rasputin did miss his old life among the fishermen, but that life was over when the company shut down. He had to make do with anything that could keep him afloat, even becoming a guard at a maximum security prison. Rasputin sighed as he watched the scenery zooming past, the bus speeding along to their destination. Rasputin had heard about the Stone prison before, but he never imagined himself there. The black bus was more spacious and fortified than it appeared on the outside and moved fast for such a heavy vehicle.

He didn't know what to expect as the bus pulled to a stop, the towering building that must have been the prison poked itself out of the bedrock. The entirety of the small island had been taken over by the building, and something odd caught Rasputin's eye. Where was the fences and yard? But before he could think about it farther, the doors opened for them to exit. As he exited he noticed The Stone man standing in the doorway, obviously showing them in.

As Rasputin got off the bus he noticed his other co-workers were not the most human, if at all. One was green and looked more like a angry thin frog, but had a tail and spikes on its head. The other's appearance was more known to Rasputin, some form of killer whale. This would pretty much be Rasputin's first time he meet X-Forms in person. He had heard of their animal like appearance but he didn't think of how they would be more like a animal then a human.

Maze was doing quite well enduring the cold as he watched the bus roll on over towards the guard quarters. It was really interesting to see how the new recruits reacted to first coming to the prison as they were all hurried off of the bus. First off was Aldo who seemed rather cold... Ooooh this weather must be affecting her far more than anyone else right now, as Maze forgot that she was biologically different as well as physically. After all, Maze really didn't see X-forms as any real different from him and the other guards.

Not wasting any time as she approached, Maze took off his leather jacket to reveal that he was shirtless underneath. A huge gust of cold washed over him as he took the black leather off, but he'd offer the oversized jacket to Aido anyways. "Although it may not be the best jacket for you my friend, He began, his tone jovial and warm despite being a stone cold golem that was slowly but surely freezing over in this winter, "But I think it'll work perfect as a wrap around blanket for you, GAHAHAHAAA!"

Leading her with a guiding hand, Maze would lead Aido to enter the door right next to him. Next off the bus was a big burly man, one who definitely fit the bill of your stereotypical Russian. One that was as tall as Maze, which the large warden enjoyed far more than he'd admit since he's only used to one person being taller than him,. Holding out a hand for Rasputin to shake, saying out loud, "I don't know a damn thing about you but thank you for coming out in this admittedly bad weather. Come in and wait for me to come in along with Miss H'wedo!" And just like that the shirtless warden lead the second possible guard inside, leaving only the third recruit...

Who was nowhere to be seen. Ruruka would wave at Maze to get his attention before the Chibi woman admits, "Yeah, I think he fell asleep as he's slumped over completely in his seat. Should I wake-""Nonsense!" He quickly answers back before giving his order, "Just drive into the garage and let him rest, as I heard he had flown our here today since he was in the States beforehand. When he wakes up, bring him to the main break room where everyone else would be." Though Ruruka gave Maze a mean glare as that meant she was babysitting what she assumed was a full grown man, she opened the garage shutters, driving on inside before closing them.

Maze finally enters the building once more, meeting with Aido and Raz in the hallways. Brushing the snow out of his own dreadlocks and off of his bare, broad shoulders, Maze would properly give them the S.C.P. greeting that he always gives everyone when they first arrive at they prison, "Welcome to Stone Chameleon Prison, and I'm so glad the both of you made it out here on such short notice. Especially you Aido, since you must be utterly frozen right now. Don't worry, the rest of the prison has a proper heating system and is far warmer when we get into the ACTUAL prison."

Chuckling about how this wasn't the real prison, he waved the two of them to follow along with him down the hallway, the two of them feeling far warmer than they were outside. After all, there were cement slots in the wall where warm air is constantly being pushed out of it. After all, the prison used as much cement as possible and whenever possible, which explains that the ventilation ducts were, for the most part, made of cement and concrete.

"As far as I'm concerned the two of you are already hired." He admits rather honestly, knowing how easy it is to persuade him in these kinds of situations, "However, to ensure the security of this prison and the prisoners, I need to learn more about who you are and how you'll respond to certain situations. After all, I won't hesitate to act if you turn out of line, no matter how much trust you earn from me." As he said that last bit, it was directed at Aido with a glance from Maze. Though his words were threatening, Aido would probably tell from the look in his eyes and the kind of smile he sported, he was more than confident that she'd never cause such an issue.

"So tell me, how are the two of you feeling right now?"

As Aido shivered helplessly, she'd find her hulking employer had taken the initiative to drape his thick coat around her. Whether this was an act of pity, friendliness or affection, Aido interpreted it as the kind act of a friend. Maze was a good man, far kinder than she deserved at times. Clutching the jacket around her, she warmed herself up, Maze's body heat still present as she felt her body adjust a bit. "Thank you..." she answered bashfully. As he greeted the others, she looked around at the surroundings a bit, not straying too far as she marveled at the impressive architecture of the whole place.

Following her jovial employer down into the prison proper, she let out a relaxed sigh as they moved into a more acceptable climate. The whole building's impressive cement structure made sense given Maze's quirks and prowess for manipulation. Keeping up with the tour she listened as Maze explained their purpose here. As she listened and let out a casual chuckle at his choice of words, a throbbing in her head began to nag in the back of her mind. As a doctor, she knew the countless reasons behind such a mundane affliction, chalking it up to lack of rest and dehydration she ignored it.

As Maze finished his explanation she found his words mildly singling her out. Nervously looking to the others, she worried his subtlety wasn't enough, she'd rather not have her potential co-workers aware of her less than legal background. She had figured her past had been laid bare for Maze shortly after her employment as his Chancellor, and he had been kind enough to never bring it up to her. She had hoped it would remain a mutually unspoken detail unnecessary in their relationship, but if the truth had to come out, a prison surrounded by his element was one hell of a place to do it.

"You know me... Ready to get to work Sir."

Rasputin took the stone cold wardens hand, the warden thanking him for coming in when the weather outside was awful, well awful for them. "Is my pleasure Warden, this weather is nothing i can't handle." Rasputin said shaking the wardens hand. "Da, I will wait." After Rasputin had shaken the warden's hand he went inside with Maze into the hallway. After the warden had come back inside where he welcomed them to the prison.

Apparently the stone man knew the other guard more personally as he was on a first name basis, which made him even more of the odd man out. As the went farther inside the prison the air warmed up, the source being slits in the seamless cement walls that pushed out the hot air. Rasputin had been looking over the prison structure as they had gone through it and so far he had yet to see any prisoners, the actual prison like Maze had said must have been somewhere else.

Maze had said they were basically hired but gave them a warning about stepping out of line and how there would be consequences. He then asked how they were feeling and Rasputin didn't have much to say, this place was a lot better than where he used to work. "I feel like this job may be better than i thought, let us continue stone man." Rasputin said the last part not as a insult as Stone man would be easier for him to remember.

Despite what Aido had thought, Maze really hadn't known the full story behind Aido. All he knew was what she shared at the interviews to become one of the chancellors, but he pretty much didn't care about a person's own background as even the scummiest of people could probably run a country. However, when it came to volatile prisoners who teetered on the tightrope of falling further down the path of crime and villainy, or hopefully returning back to proper side of justice and righteousness, Maze didn't want to endanger their chances of returning back to a normal life. So if it took a proper interview to get any and all dirty secrets out on the table in order to get a proper understanding of his own guard's capabilities, then he was willing to push their buttons.

And, seeing as how Aido was more than willing to begin with how ready she was, and it seemed Rasputin was rather enamored with the idea that his job was all but secured, it was time to get the real show on the road. Leading the two people into an offshoot room, they would all find themselves in a break room of sorts. There were uniforms of different shapes adorning coat racks near the entrance to said room, though no one else seemed to occupy the room at this moment. It was probably the most lavish break room these two would probably have ever seen as there was a fridge, a couple televisions, a couple of sofas, a pinball machine and even a ping pong table. Along with a couple bare bone training equipment such as a punching bag which hung from the ceiling.

And in the middle of the room was a table with plenty of chairs to take. "Help yourselves to anything in the fridges!" Maze spoke as he walked around the table, lifting up a finger and pulling out a chunk of cement for him to sit on at the table. He was afraid he'd break the seats, after all, so he would rather sit in something that'd definitely support his weight and size due to his own quirk rather than risk breaking these chairs. Taking a seat, the large man would wait for his new guards to take seats before addressing them.

"Now, seeing as this is uncomfortable, I'm going to share my own story with you two..."
He was aware of how revealing dark secrets of your life was discomforting, and wanted to make them ready to share their own stories, "As a young lad I was in charge of my own group of vigilantes, back when Africa was free from the prying eyes of WISH and their laws. Granted, I saw this as a boon as anyone could be a hero, and I was damn good at it too. Took the law into my own hands and broke criminals far more than the usual hero would, as to ensure they would never act out of line again. It was all good and all, until a Villain didn't like what I was doing and flat out slaughtered my entire group, the Stone Chameleons. Before you ask, yes, that's where the name came from... Afterward, I became a proper hero cause of my Momma, and honestly I do regret some of the actions I took in the past."

Pausing on this, he would then look over at Aido and Rasputin with a big smile on his face with a roll of his wrist, offering them the chance to speak while elaborating, "Now share your own story, unadulterated and uncensored. Trust me that anything said in this room." With those words spoken, the walls which separated the door into the hallway shut with a cement wall rising up out of the ground, as Maze continued, "Will stay in this room for only us to hear. Admittedly, I don't look into my worker's backgrounds as no one wants to have unwanted eyes prying into their personal lives, which is why I ask to hear this from you guys personally."

ZZZZZZZZ

Exiting off his flight he'd already felt drained from life barely having enough water on the plane to keep him as hydrated as he needed to be , little kiddo bottles didn't resolve his need to drink. He couldn't remember much after boarding the prison with the others , taking a seat in the back were he would have had space to stretch out. His eyes seemed as if they closed to long noticing the suspicious amount of rest he had been getting , mustering the energy to raise his hand and smack it across his own face. SMACK. Being heavy handed had it's perks even if he was on the receiving side , jotting up out of the seat looking around flickering his eyes gaining adjustment to the limited light.

Ryu's Attire

"AHHHH....I overslept. Hello? Anybody there ?" , letting out the meanest stretch as he rose out of his seat. Looking back he'd find a half drunken bottle of water hiding under the seat that he'd reach for , making sure it was his. He always tore a slit in his bottles wrapping to make sure he didn't drink after anyone else that was just disgusting. Ryu would down the bottle almost instantly before hearing the voice of a woman that would catch his attention.

"Wakey Wakey Big Man , follow me."

"Yes Ma'am"

The large teen was still woozy from the nap that walking to fast would cause lightness in his head causing him to zone out from time to time. He needed to be re-hydrated with something preferably sweet like Ice Tea , or even water would work. They hadn't walked much before they arrived in an another which seemed like a break-room for the employees of the prison. As the two entered the room the female would notify her boss with a wave , "The Big guys up" , returning to his side as Ryu would remain standing in his presence. "I apologize for oversleeping sir. Ryujin Yukan at your service." , extending a firm hand out for a handshake.

With everyone ready to get to work, Maze lead them to what seemed to be a break room. There the few of them were alone from the world, isolated in this realm Maze had crafted for himself. The room was nicer than she had expected, though Maze was not an individual who was easy to anticipate. With the faint ringing in her head, she reached for a water, hoping to deal with any potential dehydration. Rubbing her eyes a bit to stifle her mild headache, Aido listened in on her employer's monologue. As he described the intended bonds that they would share as members of one unit, she was allowed a glimpse into Maze that she had not seen before, there was a lot she hadn't known about him, as much as she had kept hidden from him. To her, Maze was a well-meaning paragon of reckless justice. To see that he too had had his own run ins with the law was strangely comforting, even the Mighty Maze could stray.

Taking a deep breath to center herself, Aido straightened her back and spoke up. She realized she wasn't just baring her soul to Maze, but to all the others, she could only hope her history didn't skew how they looked at her. "I guess, I need to start at the very beginning. I was born in a rather small village about four hours south of Nairobi, almost everyone there was some kind of X-form, like myself. We didn't have a lot, but we made due, unfortunately our village was one of many under the thumb of a very notorious yet fair Warlord. When I was little, there was a very large war, some American missionaries were killed in the crossfire and that drew the attention of the world. WISH came in and 'liberated' our village, but left us with valuable supplies and no means to defend ourselves. The ensuing power vacuum crushed us, and we were forced to scatter, leaving our home behind." Her head began to throb a bit more, her agitation causing to to flair, this wasn't dehydration after all.

She paused and gathered herself, she had never talked about that part of her past. "Many others were like me, homes lost due to foreign influence and clueless altruism. With so many hurt this way, it was easy for us to adopt a very xenophobic mindset, even easier for others to take advantage of our hatred." She gathered herself, what came next was the hardest part. "Before I was even twelve I was recruited as a child soldier, normally they didn't take girls but I was able to pass as male thanks to my... boyish physique. What happened to the girls was a worse fate than being shot at. I... had to shoot my own kind. When I was old enough I fled Africa and came here to England for Medical School. Once I finished my residency I moved back to Africa with hopes of changing things, but one oppression was replaced with another."

"While here in England there is less of a problem, in the less developed parts of the world my kind are still seen as lesser beings, part animal and not fully human. Being an X-form I was barred from most medical fields, finding work only as an emergency first responder. My... frustration was again abused when I was scouted by a Pro-xform activist group. At first I was just patching up wounds and helping out a group I thought were fighting for equality... for MY rights, but what we were doing wasn't quite... legal. We hurt people, people who probably were innocent." Looking down she shut her large eyes. "I left them when they tried to put a gun in my hands... they wanted me to shoot at the people I swore to heal. After that I slinked back here with my tail between my legs... I ran away from all the problems in my life and tried to start over." Looking back up she addressed the others. She shared her criminal past, her pitiful story of a cowardly chameleon who was too dumb to keep from being manipulated by a charming voice and a noble cause. In truth, Maze wasn't the first powerful man she had served... he was just the most recent. The throbbing in her head was soon joined by an itchiness in her gums, did her... teeth feel loose?

The stone man lead them to a room that must have been the break room for the staff. Rasputin had never been in a job where he was allowed access to a room like this, and it looked nice. Maze told them to help themselves to anything in the fridges as he took a seat at the table. Maze had pulled cement out of the ground to create a seat for himself, maybe he thought stone was more comfortable? Rasputin was fine for now and he took a seat at the table.

Someone else had entered the room before Maze could speak, and they introduced themselves as Ryujin Yukan. Maze continued about his backstory and how it has affected him. He talked about his time in africa and how that got him onto WISH radar, and how that lead him to become a warden. "I do not have anything worse to say about my past, other than the fact that I was forced to seek work out of Russia." He said when his turn to share came up. "Stone man." he said turning to Maze. "I wish to thank you for this job, it means alot for me and family."

Just as he wrapped up with his own personal introduction of his own backstory, it seemed the chibi guard lead the Orca man into the room. Nodding at the both of them and shooing them away, Maze began his own proposition to the entire reason why he told his story. He wanted to get a look into their own personal backgrounds to judge as to whether they would be perfect fits for this prison or not. There was much to be seen, as Maze wanted to learn more about who he was about to hire. Aido, ever the eager and most dependable of the bunch, began her tale which spanned far before what she introduced herself with when they first met for the Chancellor interviews. And it seemed she was giving the full story, from her upbringing in a more southern portion of Africa. Whether or not Ryuji or Rasputin knew it, Maze was able to recognize the meaning of how further south she lived. It was far more dangerous the more South you go, whether you are an X-form or not. It helped being an X-form, but not enough as it seemed she was outed from her village from WISH intervention.

"Fuckin' WISH,"
Maze muttered underneath his breath upon hearing this, as it seemed they caused more problems than it was possibly worth. And by helping her village, they doomed her to those that sought to use those goods for their own means. The more she went into detail about her torrid past, the more Maze realized he had recruited the perfect kind of person as someone who held unwavering trust in him would reveal such tender details to him AND those around her. Even when his right hand admitted to committing murder, Maze would remain unfazed as his actual hands weren't clean of blood either. It was highly commendable for her to try and help her own people through the proper channels, but all the more heart breaking when it all ended in failure. Frustrating him even more as it seemed there were those who sought to twist her good will into something more vile.

At the end of the story, Maze's large hand reached across the table and lightly hovered on top of the chameleon nurse's. His own lips turned to a neutral state while shaking his head left and right, as a bit of disappointment welled up in him as his eyes shut themselves for a couple of seconds. Thinking of the proper words to say before beginning it off with a simple, "My friend," his eyes opened as he gave a heartfelt grin, one that didn't show off his pearly whites. Looking his own X-form comrade into the eyes, he continues with a heavy heart, "I never knew the kind of burdens you struggled with inside your heart. If I had known back then when I was a starry eyed lad....... No no, I won't dwell on the past, and neither should you. It takes absolute guts to put this much faith in me, so much so to give this information. Though, there is one thing that I will call a lie in what you said."

His grip tightened atop Aido's as he called out what the lie was, "It would have been easy to pull the trigger, to fall prey to their sweet nothings, and to fall prey to the inherent racism between the quirk types which persists in Africa to this very day. Group mob mentality can be overwhelming when they try to place this many expectations upon your shoulders, feeding off of your frustration and terrible past. Yet you persevered in maintaining your own moral code, and made the hard decision to start anew. It takes true strength and courage to do that, even if you don't believe me." Smiling as he picked up Aido's hand, flipping it around so his own knuckles were pressed against the table top and her hand in his palm, the bearded man continued his own analysis, "And through your actions, you have made it to a point in your life in which you can actually help others. You're in a position that many whom already have power would use to their own advantage and further their own gains, yet you... You have started from the absolute bottom, and proved time and time again that you are worthy of what you do now. I already held no regrets whatsoever after employing you as my right hand woman in the world of politics."

"Yet, after today, I have no objections to bringing you into this world of mine,"
Maze would slide his hand out from underneath Aido's with a large grin on his face, his vibrant teeth shined a little because of that perfect light angle from the ceiling lights above, "After all, a prisoner would definitely look up to you as a role model for being able to stave off the cruel, vile temptations of walking down the path that was lain before you. You yourself laid the bricks and stones of your path to a legitimate life, free from the vicious cycle of life which ails Africa. Welcome to the Family, Aido H'wedo." Moving the hand on the table into his pocket, he already procured a special kind of Knight's license which he had procured. One that only works inside of this prison and nowhere else in the world. A badge which held the emblem of a green chameleon on in, with the badge having blocky prongs to a building. Sliding it across the table, Maze would give her a wink as he held full trust in her.

After having rewarded Aido with her honestly, he would turn his gaze over to Rasputin who seemed to now follow the wonderful example that Miss H'wedo set. "Though you may not have as terrible or sketchy of a background as Miss H'wedo, I trust her far more than you currently. After all, I wanted to learn about your life story. After all, being forced to find work outside of Russia could mean many things, as I haven't looked into any of your records. I prefer learning about who you are by word of mouth, as it helps cement our relationship." Chuckling at his own pun, he looked over at Ryuji who seemed to be among those that were tardy to this grouping. Maze gave him a pass, but he would repeat out loud, more pointed in the direction of Rasputin this time around, "Give me your life story, uncensored and unadulterated. Even if nothing eventful truly happened in your life, I would like to know what built you up to this point."

Pushing himself up out of his seat, Maze would saunter his way over to the fridge of the break room. Opening it up and grabbing a water jug the size of a milk carton, made of metal no less, he would speak up and ask everyone, "Oh, anyone wanting something to drink? Got some milk, water, beer, juice... The works!"

Upon entering the break-room his initial reaction was to greet his new boss formally , showing a level of respect in how he was raised. Ryujin couldn't be mad at the fact he was shoo'd away to the tables since he had entered rather late missing out on his boss's grand backstory. It bothered him he missed out on a rather spectacular front row seat into someone else's back story . Being a listener rather than a talker possessed great outcomes for the big guy with being able to decipher between lies and truths. A skill people usually pick up about body language having a similar fashion , being used to hearing sounds being bounced around all the time.

Unlike other's his age Ryujin didn't possess such traits others did such as a youthful appearances or the feeling to sit around all day. His goal in life was to reach the peak of the heroic society and challenging any and all who dare test the might of a peaceful lifestyle. He admired many heroes from all walks of life , such as Captain Buffy & Zora from the late Lucy's crew the Freedom Pirates.

"Got any water bottles?" , throwing his hand up at the request of Maze. He knew he needed to get more water in his bottle seeing how he passed out in the bus partially due to dehydration. He'd ponder on what he heard about Aido's life the other X-Form of the group that seemed to carry some rather similar features to Ryu's. The current African situation wasn't clear in Ryu's mind , ignorant to all other worldly happenings. All he could remember was the mass murder of some world leaders in Africa not that long ago. The matter had made Maze rather passionate and full of sympathy for not knowing the terror's she had to witness before stepping foot in the prison.

"There isn't much for me to say about my own history. I was born of Biracial parents from two sides of the world which is why I can speak English and Japanese." , scratching the side of the thinking about what really inspired him to move forward in his own life. "Unlike Ms. Aido I haven't faced any hardships since the 16 years I've been born. My life has been rather good to me yet its the fact that my life doesn't pertain more flavor that I don't have the same ambition as other striving for the same career as my own." Ryujin was a scholar with a respectful personality. There weren't any other siblings around to compete with nor have any real bonds towards.

Aido felt herself redden ever so slightly after she had finished opening up. Once the words were out of her mouth, she immediately wanted to pull them back in, she was foolish to be so candid. Perhaps it was Maze's presence that brought this honesty out of her, he was the one her confession had been for, the others were just bystanders to her words. She couldn't go back now she realized, this could possibly be the irrevocable first impression she gave to the others, she could only hope it was a good one. With a long sigh she listened to the others, surely she wasn't the only one who took Maze's request to heart and was willing to bare it all.

One individual who caught his attention was the cetacean fellow with the water bottle. She was always more comfortable around what she saw as her own kind, but something about this specific individual had caught her attention. He had grown up free of the same oppression she had faced, yet she found this fact to be a comfort. It meant there existed hope, finding someone who proved that all kinds of quirks could co-exist was a major step toward her goals. She would have to talk further with this individual some time, perhaps they had more in common than both of them knew.

Before long she caught herself having stared an awkward length of time at the Orca, averting her eyes away she focussed instead on the strange itching that was engulfing her gums. Ever since she had returned from Africa she had felt off, her gums had been bleeding a good deal as of late. Then there was the odd molting of her scales, she was no stranger to yearly spa-days to shed her old layer, but now her skin had been drying out months too early, and patches were starting to flake off in the shower. The doctor in her was stumped, had she contracted some illness in Africa... was she Patient Zero? No one else in her life had shown any symptoms, though she doubted Maze would admit to bleeding gums or shedding cement if he was infected.
