A few days had passed since Loïc had encountered the store robber. His mind was buzzing with different ideas on how maybe even someone as indifferent like him, could make a difference with his quirk. He smiled to himself realizing that had he had not of met Arnold, he probably would've never even considered delving deeper into what his quirk can do. His whole life had been about sports (that of which didn't include quirk usage). He wondered what Arnold was doing and if he'd see him again. The guy pretty much saved his life. The robber had experience with his quirk and was armed with a dangerous weapon (albeit a simple knife). Had Loïc trained with his quirk more, he would have most likely been able to fend for himself.

Even though he was a MMA fighter, soccer player and surfer, fighting off people with quirks was a lot different. So on this day, he decided to train with his quirk. Not just for others, but for himself. He thought back on Arnold's enthusiasm towards his quirk. He never really considered much of it, but perhaps Arnold was right. His quirk revolved around air-propulsion from his feet. Maybe he could reach fighter-jet levels of speed. He smirked to himself at the thought, knowing that that would probably be impossible.

He would walk to a nearby grassy park in order to gather his thoughts and practice. The park was somewhat empty, with a few people jogging and walking their dogs (etc). Standing in the middle of the field, Loïc would slowly take off his flip-flops off. The tricky thing about his quirk was that, he couldn't really use it with his shoes on. At some point, he would have to invent and purchase special shoes that had holes in the bottom of them so that he could use his quirk properly. But for now, he'd just have to be barefoot, something that didn't bother him.

He bent his knees and took in a deep breath. Closing his eyes, he would open them and breath out. The air from his feet would immediately push him five feet into the air. Losing control and balance he would hit a front flip and land on his chest, in a clumsy yet comical manner. He turned over and sat on his bottom, trying to figure out why in the hell he was having trouble. He was a little dumbstruck, a psychical activity that he didn't have a grasp on? The fact that there was still a lot for him to learn did inspire him though. He got up and tried again. He gave a few short breaths before taking in a breath and breathing out. Air would leave his feet once more and send him stumbling into the air.

This time it was a little more violent.

"WHOA!"

He yelped as he landed on his back, drawing the attention of a passerby or two.

Hideki would ask them what their quirks were. He figured that he probably already knew what his was since he had been watching him, but he explained anyways.

"I have air propellers on my feet. Helps me move around quick. As you saw, I'm still learning. I'm hoping to one day maybe fly around in the air like a jet plane."

Loïc said in a kind of silly manner as he looked at Arnold. Hideki would then explain that in Japan, they have controlled areas where one can practice with their quirks. He would then ask if Spain had such facilities. Loïc really wasn't sure. He shrugged his shoulders.

"I....I'm not sure." He thought to himself for a bit. "I feel as though Spain has a ways to go before it can truly develop as a quirk progressive place like Japan."

Hideki's description of what Japan had to offer sounded really intriguing. It only made sense that such a metropolitan city had all sorts of different things revolving around quirks. Arnold would brag about his quirk being really cool. Something that Loïc agreed with. He would also add that he only used his backyard for practice and a place called Mu Ren Zhuang. Loïc lifted a curious eyebrow as Arnold said this. He would then ask Hideki what his Hero name was.

Loïc smirked as he looked at Hideki. But before anything else could happen, Loïc heard a familiar voice.

"Well Well!"

Loïc turned to look behind three boys (who were around their ages) approach from behind Arnold.

"I recognize you."

He pointed at Loïc.

"You're that one loser who lost his last match at the MMA gym. You use to be skilled, what happened, lost your nerve?"

Loïc recognized this guy as well. He was one of his previous rivals. His heart sank. The timing of all of this was jarring to say the least. Loïc just frowned.

"What do you want Arshaun?" Loïc asked as he looked at his two other buddies that were with them. They looked like a gaggle of street punks.

Arshaun was getting ready to respond but stopped himself as he laid eyes on Hideki, noticing his floral like mutation.

"Interesting quirk there, freak." Loïc was getting nervous. Arshaun would would walk up and stand in front of Hideki before breathing out. A small plume of fire would spray out of each of his nostrils. Loïc had no idea that anyone from his gym had quirks, but why wouldn't they? He would get in front of Arshuan and push him back.

"Hey, back off!"

His two other buddies, were ready to retaliate but Arshuan held his hand up, stopping them.

"You think you can take me with your quirk?"

"Is that what this is about? Jealousy?"

"Can you even use your quirk? Show me!"

Arshaun gave a toothy grin as more flames inside his mouth could be seen. His friend at his left, Vitaly, rubbed two of his fingers together, giving off a small electric charge. The other guy, Krys, simply crossed his arms and slowly closed one eye.

Loïc looked at Arnold and then at Hideki. He wasn't the aggressive type and the last thing he wanted to do was get into a quirk brawl in the middle of a park. Some of the public looked on in suspicion and worry. Probably itching to call the police.

Thugs and bullies. They were everywhere. Even though he was on a different Continent he was still the attention for those who disliked the 'normal'. It was ironic. 100 percent of the living population had quirks and even animals had started to manifest the ability. And even though everyone was the same, people were still finding ways to separate them into categories. Yes, thugs and bullies were everywhere.

What seemed more interesting was that these trio, or at the very least one of them, knew Loic. Then there was mention of an MMA gym. The coincidence was almost too perfect. What annoyed Hideki more was his total lack of respect, more so when he invaded his personal space and stood toe to toe with the foreigner.

Freak. Hideki had more or less been called every colourful name under the sun. They were usually spouted by people of naive upbringing, or rarely murmured when they lost to him during club bouts. He had hardened his resolve, wore it like armour so he could never be hurt by words again. Hideki did not give an inch. Instead he stood his ground and locked his gaze on Arshaun. He gave his entourage a quick look, but the observation didn't give him much to go by. As Loic and Arshaun exchanged words Hideki spoke "Do you not have any shame? You seek a fight in the middle of a public park and like a coward you bring a pose to encourage your misbehaviour?"

Hideki took a breath and shook his head is disgust. Intimidation was a cowards tool "I'll take you. But only you. Without our quirks. Let see how confident you are."

Arnold wanted to hear about the hero name, he wanted to get along with these two so bad but then this wandering scrabble of half-wits decided to ruin it, 'I WILL NOT FORGIVE THEM!' he said in his head childishly. Arnold wasn't disillusioned in the slightest, these guys were not good people, there was always a pack of thugs when bullying, nobody usually has the gall to bully others when they are all alone unless they were criminals, it kind of irritated Arnold how they could always be so predictable. But, this was a public place, Arnold couldn't needlessly show his abilities, especially considering how people might peg him for a vigilante. 'What do I do DX' he thought nervously because in situations like these he usually stood up for others or for himself, but Hideki had that covered and Loic seemed like this wasn't the first time.

'Perfect idea Hideki!' he thought looking at him with glassy eyes, as if idolizing him. Thoughts are always a problem for Arnold, they take off inside his head and seldom slow down, though by looking at the fire and the spark, these guys were itching to use their quirks... That pissed Arnold off. 'It's because of jerks like these guys that using my quirk in public is so frowned upon...' he thought angrily, his face changing from one of relief to that of calm annoyance, looking at the three of them. "One on One, Winner gets to brag, I'd take the deal bud." Thinking about it, Arnold didn't have to be seen using his quirk, with his jacket on and the gloves that he was now slipping on while watching them, he could perfectly hide his quirk underneath his clothing so that no one would know what his quirk was.

He'd recently been testing something out about his quirk and was eager to test it out, self-defense was a law last he remembered, hopefully in this country too. "No seriously I'll referee" Arnold said as he plucked a rock the size of a baseball from the ground, coils started to intertwine through his feet up towards his hips, completely changing the anatomy of his legs. Bones were replaced with spiraling coils, muscles replaced with intertwined coils, ligaments replaced origin, and insertion coils, literally, replacing the whole leg by changing it from biological into a pure transformed state.

This happened in the fingertips up to his shoulders as well, fingers, thumb, forearm and upper, bones, blood, ligaments, flesh, skin, just like his legs, completely replaced with intricately formed coils. This was all done whilst hiding it underneath his clothing, no one could see unless their quirk permitted, they would be none the wiser. On his face Arnold suddenly adorned a very childlike smile, too innocent. "Remember not to cheat though" He said, gripping and slowly crushing the rock, chips of it shattering off as if he was applying pressure over time and his hand was not being slowed down, at the end he opened his hand and let the rubble fall out onto the ground.

Hideki called Arshaun out on needing a crowd to pick a fight. He had a point, which made Arshuan literally red with anger as his checks flushed a bit. It was clear that this guy's affinity towards fire was very pronounced and Loïc wondered why he never saw it before. Hideki would challenge Arshuan to a fight, but without using quirks. Loïc smiled at this and then gave a slight look of worry. There was no telling what underhanded trick Arshaun would use in the heat of battle. And the fact that Hideki's quirk was plant based, what would happen if he came into contact with too much heat, accidental or otherwise?

Arnold always found a way to turn lemons into lemonade, offering to referee the match and even mentioning not to cheat. Loïc narrowed his eyes again, he knew that this guy was going to do something, he fought him before.

Arshaun snickered at the three of them as he slowly backed up, getting ready to take his jacket off, revealing a muscular physique. His friend Krys (the guy with one eye closed), would tap Arshaun on the left shoulder, much to his chagrin. Without looking, Krys would point behind himself. Loïc looked in the direction that the guy pointed in and saw numerous people with their phones out, recording them. Krys would then point upwards towards the sky. Loïc looked up and saw a drone. It most likely had a camera attached to it. This kind of unwanted paparazzi was something that this trio of thugs didn't want. On a more interesting note, how did this guy know that they were being watched without looking? Did it have something to do with him keeping one eye closed?

"Alright alright." Arshuan said to Krys as he opened his closed eye.

"Guess this isn't the best place to settle this score." Arshuan would place on his jacket and sneered at Loïc, Arnold and Hideki.

"If you're up for it, the Conclave of Dogs is hosting an event tonight, big money on the line."

The invitation seemed almost a little too convenient. Was he simply trying to recruit them into fighting elsewhere this whole time? The trio would walk off and as they did so, Vitaly would fling a spherical spark of electricity up towards the drone and zap it out of the sky.

"Hey!"

The owner of the drone yelled as he ran to it in order to prevent it from breaking into pieces on the concrete below.

Loïc crossed his arms.

"The Conclave of Dogs? Didn't realize that place was still up and running. It's an underground fight club for quirk and non-quirk users. Dangerous stuff, cage matches."

Loïc gave a distant look as a few flashback played in his mind.

Weird timing....

The crowd had grown and civilians began taking photos and videos. A few were on their phone, no doubt calling the authorities for the disruption of peace. The scene alone was enough to deter the trio from engaging in any sort of physical retaliation, and denied Hideki on his invitation. Instead they offered their own. An underground fightclub was being held locally tonight, The Conclave of Dogs. The proposition didn't sound the least bit tempting to Hideki and he was obliged to turn it down. Instead, he kept silent.

Loic seemed to know a bit more on what was on offer, and had a few questions. He waited for the trio to leave and turned his attention of Loic and Arnold "What do you know of these events?" His answer would sway Hidekis decision. He was in Spain on school business, and did not want to make any trouble for himself or his team. If he did participate in one of these underground fights and got injured, he would be unable to compete in the school competition. In fact, his earlier goad was too brash. He should have known better to engage. But he would accompany Arnold and Loic if they wanted to compete.

This was all too annoying. He wanted nothing more than to pull the plug on their fight club by reporting it to the police but like it or not this seemed to have some kind of emotional or even personal attachment to Loic, you could tell by just looking at him. Property damage, using a quirk in public, harassment, assault with intent when applying that fire in front of Hideki, the amount of things he could get this guy done for with the evidence all of the bystanders had collected was a tall order and the fact that Loic knew who this person was meant a positive ID. That being said, Arnold didn't have to live here and from what he could tell, Hideki wasn't from here either. He took to grinding his teeth and 'huffed' as Arshaun and his friends prepared to depart, eyeing them like a good guy eyes jerks.

His eyes shifted to Hideki when he asked the question, then to Loic. "Don't worry, you can tell us, especially if you're worried or want to do something." Arnold said, knowing that right now all Arnold can really do is be a bit more supportive. The coils within his arm retracted along with the coils in his leg, after a few moments his biological body had completely returned and he could stop concentrating on maintaining the anatomy of it.

Hideki asked him about the underground club and Arnold assured him that they could be trusted. Loïc sighed to himself a bit.

"After funds were cut from MMA Spain, combatants have been subjecting themselves to different fight clubs. The most popular one is the one that Arshuan just mentioned. I personally never participated but I know about it. Being that I too am a fighter or....I use to be, I'm some what partial and can understand why these men and women do what they do in order to sustain themselves financially. I'm originally from Brazil, I know what poverty and strife looks like, which is why my parents moved us all here. Clearly anything underground is highly prohibited, not just by quirk society, but by Spanish law as well. That being said, police and other political figures gamble within the scene as well. It's all corrupt, which is why I kept my distance. I have a family to think about and I wouldn't want them to accidentally get dragged into anything."

Hideki nodded. He was sympathetic to those who participated in these sorts of events and Loic seemed to enlighten him on why these did it. Poverty and money could make even the most honourable turn to a more questionable lifestyle. Hideki looked at Loic and Arnold "How frequent are these harassments? I doubt not showing up tonight will cease his attitude nor will it stop Loic from being pestered on every encounter." It was a conundrum for sure, but the Japanese student had his own reasons which bound him from taking up the offer and competing.

"The last thing I need is to get in trouble with the authorities. My team are here on school business and I'd hate to tarnish their name by being found competing in such clandestine events. In saying that, I would not be opposed to helping you resolve this matter. I could accompany you and both to this event. As a basis of support and morale?" unfortunately the stick up Hidekis arse was not one easily removed. He had decided long ago to follow the rules set forth by heroic society and made it a habit to confront any who recklessly flaunted their quirks in public. It was a fine line to walk. And rarely did he rely on his quirk to help alleviate the situation.

Arnold rubbed the back of his head, breathing in as he started to calm down. His lip practically twisted when he listened to Loic's small story, seemed sad at first thought but at the same time, no ones upbringing is quite what they wanted. Hideki seemed to be right though, Arnold himself couldn't get dragged into this kind of fight and he couldn't just let Loic go in on his own, moreover he couldn't alert the authorities. 'DAMNIT ALL!' He thought, scruffing his hair and trying to practically scratch out the idiots in his brain. His eyes shifted back to Loic and then back to Hideki, this was a sticky situation. "I can't be there, But I'll be there." he said looking at Loic, sure that Loic would know what he meant, the whole being a vigilante thing if it wasn't painfully obvious.

Arnold crossed his arms and once again held an annoyed face. "So it's settled then, you're gunna go, kick their ass, prove that you're not a push over then Hideki is going to contact the authorities. He said, nodding to himself as if the plan was already laid out, as if already calculated and finalized.

Hideki was here on school business and didn't want to risk anything that was avoidable. This made perfect sense to Loïc and the last thing he wanted to do was cause trouble for anyone. This was more or less his problem alone to deal with. Arshaun was an old rival of his and he knew that he was just a bully, with or without the underground scene. Arnold offered to go although he knew he shouldn't. Loïc nodded and smiled at the both of them before holding up his hands and shaking his head.

"As good as the money is, it's really not all that safe. I'm ok with sitting this one out. The negatives outweigh the positives and I only just started practicing with my quirk."

He knew that getting others involved was the wrong thing to do. If he had an itch to do anything risky, he would do so alone. Even if it was more or less selfish and morally grey. After all that he heard, Loïc was more intrigued with Japan and it's customs. He wanted to ask Hideki a few more questions, but wasn't sure where to begin.

"How long is your school here for?"

Hideki was glad to see the voice of reason whispering in Loics ear. He hated bullies with an absolute passion, but that did not warrant any sort of activity that would be deemed illegal. Once you walked down that path, it was very hard to get out of that life. Hideki looked at Loic as he explained how his quirk was still being ironed out. It was pretty much the case with all teenagers who had been thrust with a power that they could not handle or comprehend. He could remember the first time he fully used his quirk for the first time. The power was addicting, but the damage the uncontrolled ability did to the family farm was a wake up call.

Loic inquired as to how long Hidekis school would be in Spain for "Just for the week. We have our first bout of competitions in 2 days time. At the moment the team are training and the coach is drilling in strategies."

Hideki dropped to sit on the lush grass underneath his feet "I've always wondered how my life will unfold after graduating school. Will I tread along the path which I've sought to walk since childhood? Or will I stray and find another direction in this game of life?" the comment was soft, almost a whisper. But Loic and Arnold would be able to hear "Lets get out of here. I'm quite keen to find somewhere we can stretch our arms and legs without repercussions. I assume ONE of you know of a fairly secluded place where we can expend our quirks? Somewhere not so.........public"

Arnolds eyes lit up like a christmas tree upon Loic's very mature way of thinking, clenching a fist you could see his teary eyes. "You're so.." Sniffle "So very right, and so brave" he said with eyes glazed over like he'd just eaten a lemon. Arnold felt another tug to the heart when Hideki started talking about how he didn't know his path in life, 'How dare I!, These two have hardships, Loic knows what he wants but his quirk needs refining, This tree guys quirk is amazing and he has his life figured out right now, but doesn't know his future! I'm... such a HORRIBLE PERSON FOR NOT SEEING THIS!' he thought to himself, angry that he didn't take their hardships into consideration sooner but, as usual, Arnold was over thinking things.

At the end of Hideki's sentence when he was asking if there was a place to train, Arnold knew just the spot, he'd been running around lately and he knew of an abandoned warehouse that criminals 'used' to frequent, keyword being used to because he drove them out after learning about them. At this point, almost like a sneaking ambush attack he grabbed the both of them by the arm and into a tight-nit hug, one arm around each of them. "I know! Life has been so unclear to you two but have no fear, YES!, WE WILL TRAIN TO BE BETTER! AND I KNOW JUST THE PLACE!" he said, almost like a screw was loose, but he was just happy to have two new friends.

Hideki would explain that his school would be here for only a week and that their coach was drilling and training them. Relaxing, Hideki would sit down onto the grass and contemplate life, wondering how things would unfold after he graduated. Loïc could only relate to a certain degree, being that he's more or less a dropout. He would then suggest that they get out of this scene and find a place that was more secluded. He asked if either him or Arnold knew of such a place. He figured that Arnold wouldn't know, since he too, wasn't from here.

Arnold seemed to be moved by Loïc's perspective towards the underground cage matches, which only made him smirk and chuckle. Arnold was very passionate and it was actually refreshing. One of his older brothers had an attitude that was similar to his. To his surprise, Arnold would tug on his and Hideki's arm, pulling them in close so that he could speak privately. Loïc lifted up a curious eyebrow and then chuckled some more. He was laughing a lot which meant that he was comfortable with these two. Could it be that he had officially formed a bond?

Arnold would reassure them that he knew just the place to train, much to Loïc's surprise. He nodded at Arnold and then spoke up:

"Well, that and we can probably find a secluded area at Costa Blanca. It's a nice day today."

It was a pleasant change of pace from what occurred only moments again, and the swift turn of events reminded Hideki on how fickle people really were. It really only took a moment to properly think and make an informed decision, yet those precious seconds seemed to elude most when caught up in similar situations. Hideki motioned Arnold ahead of him and Loic "Well, finally. Some good news. If you know the way then please, show us. As a new arrival in the beautiful Country of Spain I am unaware of where to go. If its not this park or my hotel, I don't know where to go."

Hideki would wait for Arnold to set the pace then follow. He was both anxious and excited to get a bit of training under his belt. He was always excited to see peoples abilities and their quirks. It always amazed him how Humans, whom had once been so similar, had evolved to become so different. No person had the same quirk as another. There were generally similarities but then individuals always differed in the smaller details. It was those details that often separated similarities in vast distances.

Arnold's smile was beaming at this point, having pulled the two in for that really made him feel comfortable as if he'd made a couple of friends that he could be himself around. He let go and moved back as he listened to Loic's interpretation of his own area, Arnold started nodding. "Well where ever we go let's look forward to some serious training!" He said with a thumbs up and a glint in his smile, how that happened was almost comical. Arnold's heels suddenly came together like an English soldier and he saluted, serious face an all but one could tell from a glance that was all for the sake of being dramatic. "With what Hideki's said it's final, LEAD THE WAY CAP'N" he said towards Loic.
