The sound of a bell ringing three times could be heard as Loïc gazed up at a bright light. Laying flat on his back, sweating profusely, this would be a another loss for him. He would slowly get up as the referee announced the winner of this match (which wasn't him). Cursing himself, he was beginning to realize that he had lost his edge in this MMA combat match. Not even acknowledging anything. he would calmly walk out of the ring and head to the lockers in order to change out of his boxing attire and head home. What was his issue? Normally, he'd on top o his game, but something was off.

Perhaps, he was changing personally, and there was a transition that was yearning to be disclosed. Despite that, his confidence was shook and he wasn't feeling good about himself. This would his fifth loss and he was beginning to give up on himself. As he changed in the locker, he could hear other combatants speak poorly of him. He would ignore it though. A lot of what they said rung true: he was wash out who lost his talent for hand to hand combat. As strange as it felt, something within Loïc resonated. He was seemingly ok with not begin idolized in the same way he was back in his original home of Brazil.

As he walked down the empty street, he would stop at s local market in order to pick up a few things for himself. As he wandered through the place, he would here a ruckus. Looking over to the cashier area, he could see that a robbery was taking place. His heart raced, should he do something or act as if nothing was happening? Hero work was something that never interested him for a second. He was more invested in sports and family life.

Peeking from around the aisle, he could see that the robber was brandishing a knife and wearing a hooded sweater in order to conceal most of his face. He narrowed his eyes and looked around, trying to see if maybe he could use something to help him. Spotting a wine bottle, he would reach over and grab it. Taking in a deep breath, he would crouch down and sneak up towards the robber from behind. As the guy was collecting money into a sack from the register, Loïc would reach back and get ready to strike a blow from behind.

He was too slow however. The robber would spot him and slash with his knife. Nervous, Loïc would back peddle and nearly get hit. Accidentally dropping the wine bottle, causing it to break, the robber would chuckle at him.

"Don't tell em you're a hero."

Loïc frowned.

"No, I'm not."

In a freakish display of ability, the robber's arm would contort out of place before stretching out in an attempt to stab. Throwing Loïc off guard, he would attempt to dodge only to get cut along his shoulder and stumble back into one of the aisle shelves and knocking it over, sending glass items and the like smashing onto the ground along with Loïc.

Covered in glass and bleeding from different points, Loïc slowly got up as he tried to get his bearings. With an angered look, the robber would slowly walk up to him.

"Today wasn't a day to play hero little boy."

Arnold laughed as he spoke with his cousin, walking down the street having just grabbed a bite together. "Hey you can never be too careful, I swear some pugs are out to get you. The little ankle biters." Arnold said with a big smile, he was happy to see his cousin although he had wondered 'why Spain of all places'. He and his cousin laughed as they walked down the streets, it was starting to get to a darker point in the day and his cousin checked her watch. "Oh, I have to go, do you think you'll be ok for a couple hours? You know where I live right." she said with concern and in seek of approval. "Yes and Yes, Now stop smothering me and go do your thing." Arnold said in his normally hyperactive cheeky way. His cousin just shook her head and walked off, Spain looked good on her, the tan anyway.

Now was the time... Arnold quickly ducked behind a small set of trees and changed into his vigilante gear. A long hooded trench coat that doubled as a cloak with grey and white and a tight shirt, loose pants tied with two belts and long lace-up boots at his feet. His face covered by a black bandana, hair tied back with a clip and his hood held down with two tassles that connected to his collar to hold it down. It was time for Spain to feel someone of Vigilance within it!

He stuck to back ways mostly, either walking on the street normally with his bandana down just enough to skirt suspicion. A man seemed to be pushing a woman around and it seemed like his mark to tell him stop being so rough with her and consider his actions as a man. But just as he'd put his bandana up and was about to speak up turns out he was holding her arms so that she wouldn't hit him, upon her asking him to let her go a final time he did so and then she started wailing on him. He didn't do anything to fight back aside from holding his arms up defensively. Should he tell her to stop... 'I mean it's the same situation but reverse...' he thought to himself. He decided the man would be fine without him though as he heard a smash, the man and the woman heard it too as they looked towards a store.

Vigilance quickly rushed over, his arms taking on their coil anatomy from fingers tips to just hear his shoulders in the upper arm. As he got to the store he opened the door and saw the other guy with cuts on him starting to stand up, the man with the knife seemed edgy. "No one worry, this crook is not a threat anymore, just a piece of garbage." he said with a death stare towards robber, gripping his transformed fists as he stared. This was clearly a taunt, attacking the robber personally. "You give bad guys a bad name, that knife supposed to be scary?" the taunting continued, he wasn't going to let up until this robber let his emotions get the better of him. All Vigilance wanted to do was get the robbers attention off of the wounded person.

Things had took a grim turn, but an angel would descend onto the scene and save Loïc, without a moment to spare. A boy around his age would speak out towards the robber. He was wearing a hooded trench coat, loose fitting pants with two belts and a black bandana. Was this guy a hero? He had to have, he was talking out towards this robber after all. The robber and Loïc looked at Arnold at the same time. Loïc gave a confused look but then, he would give a smirk, glad that he wasn't alone on this. The robber would chuckle while keeping his head low in order to let his hood cover most of his face.

"The heroes keep gettin younger. Pity really, adults sending you all to your DEATHS!"

In one motion, the robber would kick at Loïc. He would block but stumble back anyways. Right after, the robber's arm would stretch out and grab the sack full of money that was left near the register. Realizing he was outnumbered, he would take off running towards the back of the store in order to make his escape from the back. Loïc was frozen, unsure of what to do. He looked at Arnold, but didn't say anything. If he would give chase, Loïc, would follow closely behind him. Where did this reckless courage come from? Not even he was sure. Kicking down the back door, the robber would run through the alleyways.

Damnit, it failed. He knew he couldn't claim self-defense unless the man hit him first, pity the robber was smarter than your average thug. He kicked the other guy who blocked, pretty decent block at that and then started running for the back with the stolen money, immediately Arnold Sprung into action. "Call the police!" He said to the person behind the register who didn't understand a lick of what Arnold just said, either in shock or just not that familiar with the language. He ran towards the back door and immediately stormed out into the alleyways after the robber, a smile underneath his bandana that hid his face. "Stop!" He yelled as he ran, visibly attempting to gain on the robber.

He turned through the alley and then began down the second alley, jumping boxes, bikes and the like in order to keep up the pursuit. "No choice then." The coils disappeared from his arms as they returned to their normal anatomy, his legs, however, changed in unison. The coils took over his legs up to his thighs, forming twisted coils as bones, replacing muscles, fibers, skin, ligaments, and tendons with their superior form and on top of that, formed a new structure. "HYDRAULIC CONFIGURATION!" he yelled as the coils reconfigured during his run, making him swing in his steps, like a woozey animal until finally.

"HOLD IT!" the robber heard, turning his head back to see that Arnold had leaped high into the air and after a second had slammed down into the ground in front of the robber. A crack had appeared in the ground when Arnold had landed, cracking his knuckles and staring at the robber whose path he'd just cut off. He looked behind the robber, a raise in his eyebrow. "No escape, you'll have to go through me no matter where you go, forwards, the sides, up, give up the money."

Arnold would yell for someone to call the police. Even if this was a foreign land, the word "police" in itself was probably very obvious when yelled out. Loïc wasted no time, he gave chase directly behind Arnold, who went after the robber. The robber would turn into another alley way, leaping over boxes and the like. They were slowly beginning to catch the guy. He was clearly good at quick attacks and running away but now was a test of endurance and stamina. Something very strange would happen. A seemingly organic material would coil around Arnold's legs. It looked as if it were made of bone. Looking at him and describing what he was seeing was hard in and of itself.

"HYDRAULIC CONFIGURATION!"

Is what Loïc heard next before Arnold sprung himself into the air. Loïc's eyes widened in shock as he leaped over the robber's head and landed in front of him. The robber gave a mean glare as he held onto the sack tight. Her would attempt to turn around and run in the opposite direction but saw Loïc standing right there. He chuckled to himself.

"This guy is a weirdo but you're no hero kid. Let's make this easy and help me out. I'll split this with you."

He was referring to the stolen money. Loïc looked down at the sack and then back at the robber.

"You should probably give up. The police are on their way."

"Hmph." The robber scoffed with a smirk as he tossed the sack int the air, allowing for all off the money to rain down like leaves. Trying to create a diversion, he would withdraw his knife from earlier and flick it between his fingers before tossing it towards Arnold. He would then rush in for Loïc.

Something at that moment snapped inside of him as the money rained down in slow motion. Crouching down a bit, he took in a deep breath and exhaled. Air from his feet would shot out, but since he had shoes on, the power of the burst was muffled somewhat. Still, it was enough to shoulder rush the robber and send him stumbling back, losing his balance.

His Hydraulic legs returned to normal, his arms once again underneath the clothing changed into that of the human anatomy except, made up of coils. With normal legs and now, coil powered arms, Arnold lifted his arm up and caught the knife right in his arm, stabbed. There was no blood, no damage and no pain. It too no effort pulling the knife out as if it was a pointless tool and throwing it to the ground, eyes flicked up to track the robbers' petty attempt at confusing him with raining money. Something peculiar happened directly after that, once again he was about to give chase and if he had to, save the bystander, but it seems the bystander had spirit. Shoulder rushed, the robber found himself going towards Arnold which, in itself was pretty much the end.

"VIBRA..." He said as he slammed his fist into his right palm, lunging forwards as the vibrations in his right palm started to shake with such force that it made his right arm unstable. As soon as he was melee distance he grabbed the mans rear right shoulder and forced him to turn around, it was at this point, the robber knew, he clucked up "STRIKE!!
. If he may, with the vibrashock palm, closed into a fist and then with great force buried itself into the robbers' gut, winding him as the vibrations caused all of the oxygen to leave his lungs at once.

With this, there was the noise of all of the vibrations being reverberated off the robber's ribs. Arnold took a step back and shook his hand a bit, the coils shaking off the excess vibration. "Don't get up, Also, A knife man? really?" Police wouldn't be here yet, not so soon anyway, it'd be a few minutes so it would be wise to make sure this jackass didn't go anywhere, and then there was this other guy, around his age by the looks of it and a peculiar quirk. At this point, Arnold began talking to himself, kind of self-reflecting in his mumbles as he went through the list of events in his head to make sure he didn't do anything that could get him in serious amounts of trouble.

Standing there he looked to be carrying out a series of gestures with his head and hands, every now and again looking at the robber to make sure he wasn't moving. 'Did I hit too hard? Maybe I shouldn't have shown off in front of this new guy, BUT HE WAS TRYING SO HARD!, no, not the point everything I did was in self-defense, Yeah... I chased him down and self defensed him until he was subdued...' He rubbed the back of his head, clearly he still had a lot to learn and there was a long way to go but, his eyes quickly glanced at the other guy. "What's your name?" he said with a smile beneath his bandana.

As the robber stumbled back, Arnold prepared a strike of his own. Loïc saw that the knife was either blocked or parried because it was on the ground. The coils would leave Arnold's legs and then wrap around his arms. Loïc could only marvel at how strange and yet, cool, this guy was. Turning the robber around with his free hand, Arnold would gut the robber right in the stomach, forcing him to black out right away. Loïc's hunch was correct, the guy was all talk but hardly had any fight in him to at least take a single hit. Loïc walked up to the two of them and then nodded with a smile. Hero life and the like wasn't really his forte. But this guy, standing in front of him was something to behold indeed. He searched for the right words before speaking.

"Th....thank you. Had you not have come, I don't know what would've happened...."

He said as he looked at Arnold before he was asked what his name was.

"My name is Loïc. It's a pleasure to meet a hero." He held out his hand for a shake.

"Your Quirk....what is it exactly?"

It was at this moment that police officers would begin to show up one by one. Guns out at the ready. Loïc turned around and held his hands up.

"He's right here."Loïc motioned towards the robber as he moved out of the way in order to let the officers do their duty.

Arnold Shard seemed to light up in the eyes, finally, someone called him a hero that wasn't just a villain making fun of him. A tear would almost fall down his face 'No, Keep it together man!' he thought to himself as he held his head down a bit, keeping his eyes hidden with the hood. "It was no problem, really." He reached out and shook Loic's hand, coils were still present at this point as he wanted to be absolutely sure the robber didn't do something dastardly. A surprising question though, one about his quirk, a blink or two as he lifted his head up. "I can produce coils with my body, like guitar strings, What about you, your quirk seems to involve ... strength, that wasn't a normal shoulder bash."

The police were starting to show up, their footsteps were getting closer and the sirens not far off, Arnold rolled his eyes and put his hands up. "Ixney on the Ero-hey." He said in a subtle voice that on Loic could hear, implying that he shouldn't refer to him as a hero in front of the police. Yeah, sure he looked shady but even so he stepped to the side of the alley to make sure the police could get to the criminal. "This guys quirk seemed to be stretching or something. The knife was just insulting though, people should have more pride in their own bodies." He said to himself, not too loudly yet you could tell he was in deeper thought.

Arnold would explain that he could produce coils from his body like that of guitar strings. He would then ask Loïc about his Quirk.

"Coils? Oh ok. That makes sense. It looked as if you can produce coils on a level deeper then the surface of your skin. My Quirk well..."

He thought to himself for a second.

"I have these air jet propellers on the bottom of my feet. I have to take in air before I can use them though. Still getting use to it, I haven't spent much time practicing. Being that I'm an athlete and we don't rely on Quirks."

As the police were cleaning up the scene, Arnold made it clear that he didn't want them to know that he was a hero for whatever reason. Loïc found this to be strange, but didn't question it. Perhaps there was a good reason as to why he wanted to remain discreet. Arnold would make a few comments about the robber's quirk and how he should've had more confidence with own body instead of bringing a simple knife. That comment resonated with Loïc. Perhaps it was indeed time for him to start building up his confidence. This Quirk was a gift after all. Maybe he could help people the way in which Arnold helped him today.

"I'm sorry. I didn't catch your name." He said.

The police were oddly ok with him, the fact that he was a vigilante hero who saves people and stops crime despite not having a heroics license, that might cause some distress but, he didn't want to tell that to Loic. "That is so coool~!. Being able to control air pressure in that way would result in MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SPEED!" He said, letting his childlike behavior get the better of him, coughing into his hand as he once again got it under control. "My quirk used to be useless, I was always turning into a puddle of coils on the ground. Yep, It's taken years of practice to get where I am now. he said, nodding to himself.

'Hmm? Wants to know my identity? Well, gotta start somewhere.' he thought. "I am safety that watches, I am Vigilance." he said, giving off a very casual but serious pose, trying to emphasize that he wishes to embody the protection of everyone. But after tooting his ego he had a curious thought, tilting his head and looking at Loic with very prying eyes. "What about you, What's your hero name gunna be huh." he said, casually nudging Loic in the side of his arm as if to pressure him, insinuating many things about Loic's future.

The police weren't too wary, a mistake on their part as there is always another bad guy or maybe even this guy wasn't alone, still, small beginnings for some people. He would stay in Spain for a bit and then probably head back to England or maybe go back to Japan. The coils of his arms slicking through their muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments until the human form had been recreated, down to the last blood cell.

Loïc gave kind of a nervous smile when Arnold expressed that his Quirk was cool and how massive air pressure meant that he could achieve massive amounts of speed. He thought to himself for a second and pictured himself blasting off like a fighter jet.

"Speed huh?"

Loïc nodded and smiled at him.

"Never really crossed my mind, but maybe you're right. With enough practice I suppose."

Arnold would then explain how his Quirk use to be use and how he would simply end up as a puddle of coils on the ground. Loïc smiled at this.

"Really? I can't possibly begin to imagine what that would look like."

Finally, Arnold would reveal his name, but not his actual birth name rather, his alias.

"Vigilance huh? Not bad. Cool and to the point. I forgot that all heroes and villains have their own names."

The police at this point were clearing out. Loïc too found it somewhat surprising that they weren't questioned. Maybe they thought the were just bystanders? Arnold would then look Loïc up and down to which Loïc cocked up his right eyebrow as he was nudged a bit. He would then ask him what his hero name was going to be. This was quite honestly something that Loïc never thought of. What would be his hero name?

"I dunno, probably something like Mach Man. Oh oh, I know. Sonic Boom. That's what happens when you break the sound barrier. I took a vacation to America once and watched a few jets do this."

Loïc's eyes started to light up in the same fashion as Arnold's.

"A breaker of barriers hmm? I'll call you Breaker, Thank you for help today Breaker... Now... Where am I?" He said rubbing the back of his head. The police approached the two of them and, one of them had a notebook and Arnold himself seemed surprised they hadn't approached them sooner. The policeman looked angry but at the same time, frustrated, Arnold wasn't quite sure how tor react. "You two." he said in a poorly portrayed representation of the English language, well, at least he knew it, convenient. "There have been numerous sightings of robbers today, most of them got away. Normally, I'd book you on the spot for being a vigilante, but, one of you is hurt and as far as I'm concerned you stopped a criminal. We'll be taking credit for his capture and his arrest, you were never here. Understand?" he said with a stern voice.

Arnold nodded, "Dah" he said in a thick Russian accent, many thoughts going through his head. 'More than one, there were several robberies, this might be just the beginning. Wait did he just say take credit!? ... Oh nevermind, peoples safety takes priority and as far as things go it could be worse.' He was standing there nodding to himself as he went through a series of thoughts in quick succession, yet again showing his hyperactive brain. 'Breaker did well though, I might need his help... he's a civilian but' he thought as he looked Loic up and down. 'Pretty solidly built, hmm, he needs to get patched up first though'. "Comrade, Izt possible to get this young man medical attention." It became obvious that Arnold was trying to remain inconspicuous, especially in Spain, something he would explain to Loic when the time was right.

Arnold (Vigilance) wasn't too keen on the name Loïc gave to himself. So instead, he would call him "Breaker" instead. Loïc chuckled at this. Breaker was a cool name and he happened to be an MMA fighter so perhaps that was more appropriate. Arnold would ask where he was as he looked around. Loïc looked in the direction of where they came from.

"We can probably get out of here that way." He pointed.

But before anything else happened, an officer would approach them. The guy seemed to be peeved about something. He would explain that there have been numerous sightings of robberies as of late and that they have all been getting away. Normally they'd be marked for vigilantism but since Loïc got hurt and they managed to stop the robber, he was willing to let it slide as long as they didn't mention this incident to anyone. Loïc nodded his head.

"Yes sir....uh, sorry for the trouble."

Loïc had no idea that heroes couldn't just do as they pleased, even if it meant saving others and stopping crime. That made sense though. Things had to be organized. Using a foreign accent, Arnold would ask if there was any way Loïc could receive medical treatment.

Why is he?...

Loïc thought to himself and then it all made sense. There were potentially criminal ramifications for vigilantism. Which is why Arnold wore a bandana over his mouth, in order to conceal his identity. Did this mean that Loïc was potentially in trouble? He didn't want to put too much thought into it. He had many cuts and what not on his body. If anything, he looked like a victim and that was it.

The officer nodded at Arnold.

"There's a ambulance in the front of the store that was robbed. Try not to bring too much attention to yourselves. Especially you."

He was referring to Arnold, who wasn't necessarily dressed like a normal civilian.

Loïc nodded and then turned to Arnold.

"Um....are you visiting Spain or?...."

Loïc was intrigued by Arnold but wasn't sure if he was a visitor or not. Perhaps they could hang out again so that Loïc could start working on his Quirk.

He was rubbing the back of his head, laughing a bit forcefully and yet, half-heartedly when the officer told him not to bring too much attention to himself. He nodded a couple times and then looked to Loic, best to make sure he was ok but... 'Ugh' he thought as he knew this was going to be a slight pain. "See you at the ambulance" He said, waving to the officer then quickly jogging to the end of the alley and then, out of sight of everyone. He turned the corner, ducked through and went behind one of the dumpsters, not ideal but... 'eh' he thought. He carefully removed his trench-coat that doubled as a cloak, pulled up the sleeves on his long sleeves shirt and took off the two belts that were holding up the over the top pants. Clipped to the back of those pants was a carrying satchel which he stuffed the trench-coat, gloves, pants and bandana into. Taking from it his hoodie and then slipping it on, hanging the satchel over his shoulder.

He went around the block, as he came around he saw the couple that he'd seen before the store incident, gawking and staring at the event, there were a few cameras. As he had burnt some time he had come round and after approaching the ambulance said in a ripe 'English' accent "Hello, I'm looking for Loic, he's an acquaintance of mine." sounding almost 'too' posh. His pants looked light tight cargo's and a vest with a dark blue hoodie, tags pulled in front of him with the hoodie tied up. If and when he was allowed to push forwards he came up towards Loic again after their small 'break away' and said "You do get into all kinds of trouble don't you. Hurry and finish up, we have a bit to talk about." He said, trying to sound stuck up in order to aggravate the paramedics as if trying to get their dislike.

His long blonde hair was pulled back a bit and his eyes, unmistakably coloured the same as when he was wearing his improv 'costume'.

Arnold would tell him that he'd see him at the ambulance. Loïc wondered where he was going, but didn't ask him. He simply nodded as the officer escorted him. As they came out of the alleyways, Loïc would lay eyes on what he had hoped he wouldn't see, cameras.

Damn, hope mom isn't watching.

A camera or two would turn towards Loïc's direction as he slowly walked up to the ambulance. The reporters didn't ask him any questions but they were speaking of him. It was at this point that a blonde hair kid approached him, seemingly chastising him for getting into trouble and telling him to hurry up since they had a lot to discuss. The English accent was interesting. Was this really the way in which he spoke? Loïc simply nodded at him with a smile as the paramedics patched him up. Some of the medics would ask if he were in any pain at all. Loïc explained that he was ok and allowed them to finish up so that he could depart from the ambulance. Once he was off, he would turn to Arnold.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, shall we leave this scene?"
