The Character

Height: 5’11
Weight: 150 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Darkest shade of brown

Character Costume

The Mask

General Appearance: Being an avid martial artist and former high school athlete, Marrow maintains a lean physique. He has bronze skin and stands around the average height. A variety of burn marks and other battle scars garnish his body, the most noticeable one being the scar on his left cheek. He styles his hair in a dreadlock-Mohawk fashion, with a few locks hanging over his forehead and creating small bangs. He is often times called handsome by his female encounters.

Clothing: Marrows attire usually consists of dark colored techwear, clothing for everyday life with special fabric, construction and properties that allow for breathability, movement, water-resistance and comfort. His shoes are often times running shoes but he may feel the need to wear combat boots at times. When in action, he wears his mask composed of bone to conceal his identity. He can sometimes be seen wearing a bookbag which contains food, water and weapons, etc within.

Personality: At first glance, Marrow may seem reserved, but however he is more so just observant and over analytical. For those whimsy he has grown closer to, he is actually known to be very intelligent, competitive and humorous. However he is still a teenager, and at times he can be obnoxious. Deemed as a pessimist by others, he considers himself to be a realist, using primarily logic to make assumptions and come to conclusions.

He believes that society is stuck in a darwinistic mindset to where evolution and desired results only comes to those who are on top(no matter how they got there), however everyone may not see the bigger picture. False idols such as athletes, heroes, celebrities, politicians, so on and so forth...are praised and looked up to as role models for doing nothing productive...if anything, the complete opposite. Riding their coattails is the massive population of people at the bottom of the totem pole who reluctantly rely on a sense of hope and security to get them on to the next day. Their content mindset will eventually lead to their extinction.

Although raised in a Catholic/Christian home, he himself has come to the conclusion that religion is just a deterrent and is in all a scam. He’s agnostic in a sense. Hope, the general public’s life support. Marrow hates hope. Hope never made senses to him. Hope is weak, unorganized and absurd. Hope, which is always nonviolent, exposes in its powerlessness, the lies, fraud and coercion employed by the state. Hope He wants to help the world but at the same time he believes that it is so far gone, it may be time to reform. Hope posits that people are drawn to the good by the good. This is the secret of hope's power. Hope demands for others what we demand for ourselves.

The way Marrow sees it, in order to solve a problem you have to realize the flaws and how to improve upon noticed flaws or abolish the flaws in all. He also sees that problems are subjective, and for all he knows he could be the problem for society in one aspect but the solution for it within another.

Marrow is no stranger when it comes to substance abuse. He occasionally...sometimes..more than often...okay, almost always is under the influence of something illegal. Whether it be a stimulant, opioid or depressant he does drugs for a plethora of reasons. He likes the way they make him feel for the most part, and sometimes he likes them because they render him from feeling anything, using them as a coping mechanism. With that being said, over years of trials, tribulations, and traumatic experiences combined with stress and drug abuse, lead the young man to exhibit signs of some mental disorders.

History
History:
Kevin Abreu was born in New York, New York and brought home to an interracial family the same crisp autumn morning he was delivered. He has one younger sibling who didn’t come around until he was about five years old. Eventually his parents split up, leaving Kevin to be the protector of his mother and sister.

Sooner rather than later, that role would fit perfectly upon the young Kevin’s shoulders. Around the age of nine during a burglary of his home, whilst defending his family, Marrow effortlessly killed the intruder to the shock of his very own mother for which ,upon striking the thief with a flurry of surprise blows a jagged blade composed of bone protruded from his forearms, making the encounter more lethal than intended.

After witnessing her son brutally murder someone amongst the debut of her sons newfound quirk, she believed it was only write to enroll him in a martial arts school where he would learn to not rely on his quirk to avoid from being put in a predicament that could wound him in lot of trouble.

This didn’t do quite the trick for which, although the was an honor roll student , he was heavily influenced by the street life and peer pressure. He ended up committing more crimes to the point that their home was raided by law enforcement in search of him time and time again. Eventually his mother threw him out to the streets where he now roams without proper guidance

Buloke Bark (D)
T.P Cost: 5
Limit Cost: 10
Type: Defensive
Range: Self
Stats: +2 Stamina

It is made flexible around the joints to sustain maneuverability. This armor can be maintained for half the cost.

Type: Supportive
Range: Short

The strength of the lancer depends on the degree of the technique and prowess of the user however to his discretion the size of the bone construct may vary. The technique follows gadget rules and can be maintained for half the cost.

Dang, almost cut myself on all the Edge in this character app.

In your history, state that the "brutal murder" he committed as an 8 year old was deemed self defense (and of course he was a minor). So that no infamy can be assumed from the act.

Red Rose Resentment
Is this an AoE or a single target tech? If its an AoE the range is 2m at D rank. If its meant to be both, pick one. D rank is too weak to have an aoe or single target switch move just yet.

Potent Pollenation (D)
No upkeep. Using this offensive move will require full LP cost each time. Additionally, though flavor text says fast as a bullet the actual speed is D per technique and control. Doesn't needed to be changed just worth noting so there is no confusion later.

Hay in a Needlestack (D)
No upkeep. Using this offensive move will require full Lp cost each time. Additionally, though flavor text says harder than steel the actual material rank is D per technique and control. Doesn't needed to be changed just worth noting so there is no confusion later.

Pine's Pinnacle (D)
State that the swords have D material rank (same as technique rank) and follow gadget rules. Upkeep on this technique is perfectly fine.

Buloke Bark (D)
This technique is purely defensive, nothing about it grants offensive abilities based on the description. Which is fine as D rank shouldn't do both. Just remove the offensive part.

Metamorph (D)
Mark the technique type as either Supportive or Transformation.

Dancing Clematis Vine (D)
Spinal whip has a material rank of D and functions like a gadget.

Dancing Clematis Flower (D)
You can either treat this like the other "tool creation" techniques or treat it as an offensive technique. If the latter then no upkeep cost. If the former then material rank equal to technique rank and functions like a gadget.

Remove the line about Clementine Flower being able to turn into anything. That’s way too vague for D-Rank. That’s the only thing left, from what I can tell.

Since Red Rose Resentment seems to be an aoe, list the range as “AoE Short”

After that, 1/2
