On the beaches at the opposite end of the island that the previous invasion took place, a familiar sight was unfolding. The only thing strange about the entire situation was the timing. It was midmorning. Long enough for the sun to have warmed the air and ground but not quite at it's full strength. The little black dragon, Artemis, was bounding about on the sands there. She'd be running down the beach for a few strides before she'd leap into the air as high as her tiny legs could take her. Large feathered wings would drive down onto the earth, providing further propulsion. And yet Artie could not quite get off of the ground permanently. With every push of her silent wings she'd go further than before, but yet the orphan always came crashing back to the multicoloured sands. She was so close to true flight. So close that she could basically taste it every time the little dragon opened her wings. It frustrated her to no end every time that she'd fall back to earth. The orphan paused on the beach and huffed, her annoying having moved from being hidden inside to being on clear display. She settled down on her haunches and gave her wings a critical look. Artemis even stretched them out, flexing the limbs this way and that so that she could have a closer look at her feathers. 'Is it the sea spray? Or am I still not strong enough?' the little girl pondered, disgruntlement on her face. 'It doesn't matter. I've got to get better, so I've got to continue training.' Resolve replaced the frustration that the dark creature felt. She had taken to heart what she had told Feraocity when he first helped her train on these very beaches. Artemis had already improved so much, but it still wasn't enough. Her first milestone would be to lift off the ground and stay in the air for a long time. To experience true flight, not gliding or extended leaps. Her next goal would be to fly off of Elysium and to reach civilization all by herself. Artie crouched down to the ground and readied herself for a leap, wings extended up and arctic eyes focused on the sky above. EP in use

Negan woke up in his bed, ready to begin whatever training Mercutio had planned for them. Wait.....they were on vacation now. For a couple weeks there would be no training from Merc which meant that everyone could spend their time how they wanted. Negan kept forgetting this every time he woke up in the morning. Still, even though training wasn't a requirement at the moment it was important for him to keep his body in peak physical condition. Fusing with his sister took a lot out of him so it was for the best if he made sure that his endurance was always up to par. But what would he do? Going for a run was a good way to stay in shape but since it was so freaking hot on this island it made running almost unbearable. The maroon-haired boy walked over to his window and opened the white curtains, still shirtless and in his underwear. With Elysiums heat there was no way he would be sleeping in pajamas, no they were just too hot. As he stared out his window, Negans eyes rested on the sparkling ocean that was sprawled out in front of him. Swimming would not only be a good way to stay in shape, it would also be a fun way to stay cool. The male half of the fusion ha duo walked down to the beautiful beach, wearing some floral patterned swimming trunks and holding a towel in one hand. He had initially been inclined to bring a shirt with him but he figured that since the mansion was so close there wasn't really a point when he'd be taking it off almost immediately. As such, he had left it back at the house. Negan would get closer to his destination before realizing he wasn't alone. A little jumping figure came into view, a figure he recognized as the little dragon girl that Mairu was friends with. She was an orphan like him and had come to the island alongside Negan and his Sister. The only real question was just what this little girl was trying to do at the moment. Upon closer inspection, Negan saw that she was flapping her wings in what looked to be a desperate attempt to fly. Huh, so that's what she was trying to do. It made sense that a little winged dragon would want to fly. Negan had always assumed it would just be something that would happen naturally for them. That kind of thinking may have made some sense in the wild but these were quirks and quirks only improved with practice. Negan's heart went out to the kid as he watched her jump into the air only to fall back down not a few moments later. It looked like she still needed some time to figure everything out. Walking over to where the little dragon was located, Negan gave a small wave before speaking. "Hey....Artemis, isn't it? I was just passing by and I saw you trying to fly. It's not going so well, eh? Don't worry about it! If you want I can stick around and try to help you." Negan gave a warm smile as he waited for a response. He had initially come out here to go for a swim but his time was probably better spent helping this little dragon learn to fly. "It's entirely up to you of course. If you don't want help I can leave you to it." |

The shifting sounds of the sand signaled Negan's approach. Artemis paused in her training to peer curiously at the other. She didn't quite know who he was. Hell, she didn't even know his name, but then again the little dragon didn't pay much attention to those that she hadn't formally met. She knew Gjoll, Mairu, and Alana well enough, but that was about it. All she knew about this man was that he was there in the group of orphans that were challenged by Mercutio, that he had been chosen to train with the crimson man, and that he could somehow change his appearance and got rather scary when he did. 'I really need to meet more people...' Artie thought, slightly sheepish. The orphan tilted her head as the other mentioned helping her with flying. It was a very tempting offer, even more so with her goal feeling so close. Artemis didn't mind people helping her at all, as a matter of fact she liked it when people took the time to tutor her in something. But considering that Negan looked like a normal human with no flying appendages, the only way that the little dragon could think that he would be able to help her would be in a similar way as to how Feraocity did. She didn't like to be picked up by strangers and spent a couple of seconds weighing that distaste with her own desires. 'I want to be the best, don't I?' Artemis snorted angrily to herself. She twisted around and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from her harness. She doubted that Negan would know sign language as most people on the island didn't. The sand didn't provide a very good surface to write on and so the dark creature flicked her tail over and used that. Under the sun her black feathers seemed to shimmer into subtle hues of purple and blue. "How do you think you can help?" Artie wrote on the paper. No malice was meant in her written words and she merely tilted her head, curiosity shining in her arctic eyes. The orphan wondered if the other would have a different idea but had already decided to put up with a stranger picking her up and throwing her if it meant she'd get better. Stuffs

Negan wasn't quite sure if the little dragon could actually understand him but he figured he might as well make contact with her. Worst case scenario she didn't understand him and he just went on with his day. However as it turned out, Artemis seemed to fully understand what he was saying. The child took out a piece of paper and wrote down her response with a pen. It seemed that she couldn't actually speak but she could fully understand him. Maybe that was something to do with her quirk? Oh well, at least she was able to communicate with him. Reading the words she had written on the paper, Negan stroked his chin in thought. "Huh.....how can I help? I'm not too sure honestly." After a couple seconds, Negan glanced over at the mansion. An idea had formed in his head but it was a little sketchy. He wasn't too sure if the little dragon would be up for it. "Well, my house over there...." the boy said, pointing to the mansion. "If we go up on the roof I could throw you off it and then maybe that could help you fly." It was a pretty dodgy plan considering how wrong it could go. The large house was pretty tall so if the dragon messed up and didn't fly or glide properly then they could get seriously hurt. However Negan figured that he would take a page out of Mercutio's book for this one. Sink or swim was the man's method of choice and it hadn't gone wrong so far. He often would toss the Adrestia members at whatever problem they were currently facing so Negan would do the same thing. "It's up to you. The idea is pretty dangerous so if you're not comfortable with it then that's fine." Negan didn't want to force the little girl into doing something that she didn't want to do. After all, it should be up to her how she learned to fly. However putting the little dragon in a do or die situation might force them to learn faster. After all, the greatest changes were often initiated through great stress. This was how baby birds learned to fly and although that sometimes didn't go very well, it was probably their best shot of trying to get Artemis to fly. Besides, even if she got injured, Leroy could probably fix her up in no time. "Well? What do you say?" the maroon-haired boy said, waiting patiently for the little dragon to answer his question in the form of a written note. |

Artemis looked up into the distance as she contemplated Negan's offer. Her light eyes drifted over to the top of the mansion. It was one of the tallest buildings on the island and being tossed from the roof as hard as someone as powerful as the young man could would certainly get her some air. Not to mention that the higher up the little creature was the more time she'd have to recover if something goes wrong. 'Not that it should...but if it does I'll try to aim to land on him' Artie thought, slightly amused about that idea. With her mind made up the orphan nodded to the other, confirming his idea. She tucked her writing utensils into her pockets, feeling a surge of pride at how useful her own creation was. It was the first ever thing that the little dragon made and, while it was a bit of a hodgepodge of fabrics, it held up nicely and did it's job. Artemis would double check the pockets and straps before trotting up to Negan, eager to be off. If he tried to pick her up then and there she'd back up a bit and glare slightly at the older, silently telling him no. Her legs worked perfectly fine, and the dragon wanted to keep her handling via strangers to a minimum. While Artie never knew who owned the mansion per se, or had even met the owners until now, she wasn't a stranger to the structure. Mairu, her closest friend, lived there and she quite often went to visit him. She'd probably even visit him later on in the day, just to catch up with what the two had been up to. Hopefully the orphan would be able to tell the fox that she'd finally had her first flight. But until then the little dragon followed Negan, letting him take the lead to the roof. Once on their lofty level the dark creature would bound over to the edge of the roof and peer over. The ground looked cold and unforgiving, but Artemis had enough faith in her own wings to keep herself from hurtling down at a speed that'd hurt. With the base height confirmed, the orphan walked over to Negan. She looked up to the other and nodded with determination shining in every feather of her being. Artie unfurled her wings slightly so that the other could grab her wherever he wanted to to give the little creature a boost into the sky. |

Fran was out for a walk today. Normally she would be lounging around with a member of Adrestia, sparring with Kiba, or falling into a state similar t that of sleep out of boredom. Today though she thought she would go out on her own and wander around the Island. She had seen most of it before and there was not exactly anything new for her to find on the island, but it was nice to just get out and maybe happen upon one of her family members doing something fun and interesting. Normally she would just get in the way or be left unnoticed, but today she was going to do something fun and be noticed. Of course she did not see anybody or anything of interest to her right away though as she simply wandered around and started to get bored of it all. she was tempted to just go back to resting as she turned her attention to the clouds above them. Able to float around as they wished and touch the sky while being noticed by all. She sort of envied them as she looked up and tried to make out specific shapes or designs in them. She saw a bunny and a bat and one that looked like a snake. Sure they were all just cloud formations, but they amused her for now. As she wondered about staring into the clouds she happened to pass by the Manor that was brought onto the island. She never really went near it or anything since it had nothing to do with her and she did not live there, but as she looked at it while staring into the clouds she happened to notice that there was somebody on the roof. She could not tell who and could make out something else, but from this distance and angle she could not really recognize either of them that well. All she could tell was that they were on the roof and near the edge and that was most likely not a good thing. The only reasons that she could think of for being on the roof were getting something, fixing something, or.....ending it all. It was a rather grim thought for a rather young girl, but she had seen a lot of darker things since coming to this island and had sort of come to expect and anticipate them. She did not see any evident tools, and besides the man and the small figure she saw nothing else of interest from her perspective, so she was started to believe that they may be planning the worst. Fran had no idea what to do or who to call in a time like this. She was used to death with all the fights and the elections, but all those times she was powerless to help them. This Time she was more capable, stronger, and in a position to help so she was going to help. The real question was how at this point and she knew that trying to help after they fell might have ended badly so she wanted to be proactive. So she quickly made her way over before using her newfound stretching powers to launch her arm forward and grab onto the roof. "Do not worwy fro I wam cwuming." she shouted out as her tiny little hand that had grown a bit as it reached out had grasped onto the roof. She had planned to pull herself up at this point, but she was not yet used to the changes in her body and instead of being pulled up to the roof she was quickly snapped upwards as her elastic arm was quick to have her close the gap at far to fast a pace. She would most certainly make it to the roof and continue up into the sky well over it before coming back down crashing onto the ceiling a few meters away from them. Her body would compress down from the landing looking all squished before springing back into its normal shape. It was not her intent to make such a flashy entrance, but luckily her body was rather resilient so her crash onto the roof had absolutely no effect on her besides squishing her down for a second. After shaking of the shock absorption she would look to the two and see that is was the small dragon she met on her first day and the boy who made things go boom along with his stretchy sister. He remembered her rather well as She wanted to get some pointers from her at some point but had not yet had the chance to get alone and talk to her. This made Fran even more confused as to what was going on here and she just had to ask." Wha what ish going wan?" Her expression hard to tell as she was just a stuffed animal but she was rather curious and still a little concerned. Spoiler: click to toggle

It looked like Artemis was fine with the idea of being thrown off a building. Her desire to fly must have outweighed any fear of falling and getting injured. Negan wanted to help her as best he could but he also didn't want her to get hurt. He was going to make sure that whatever happened, she was not going to get hurt. The two of them started walking towards the Taylor's mansion so that the training could begin. After a bit of time the two of them had reached the roof of the house. It wasn't often that Negan went on the roof as there wasn't really much for him to do up there. In his down time he often preferred to sit in his father's den and read through his old books. It made him feel closer to the man had always seemed to be too busy for him. Negan watched as Artemis looked over the edge of the roof and then got ready for him to pick her up. "Alright brace yourself. I'm going to throw you into the air." he said. Just as he was about to kneel down and pick up the little dragon in his hand, a tiny stuffed animal came flying onto the roof. For whatever reason, Fran had been walking by the large house and then decided to come up onto the roof to see what they were doing. "Oh, hi Fran. I'm helping Artemis learn to fly. I'm going to toss her off the roof and then hopefully that'll be enough air time for her to fly. I'll be right with you in a second." He gave her a warm smile before kneeling down and picking up Artemis in his right hand. Negan leaned backwards with the dragon in his hand as he looked up at the sky, taking the stance of a baseball pitcher. "Alright, here we go!" With all his force, Negan threw her up into the air as he fired off an explosion from his elbow that increased the strength of the throw. Artemis would be launched into the air with extraordinary power. The maroon haired boy braced himself as he looked up into the air with his hands held outstretched so that he could catch Artemis if her attempt at flight failed. He wanted to talk some more to Fran but he couldn't afford to take his eyes and attention off of the little dragon. If she got hurt then he could only blame himself. "Come on! You can do it!" He called out to her. Negan had made sure that he had thrown her within the confines of the roof so that if she fell he could catch her. Granted, he would have been willing to jump off the roof in order to catch her but it would be better if there was no need. Techs, stats and lp

Elysium was certainly an odd place, filled with strange people and interesting quirks. One may even say that Artemis herself was interesting or strange but if you asked the little dragon, she'd say that she is simply normal or boring. Which was why when a familiar creature came sailing through the air to land flat on the roof the orphan probably wasn't as surprised as she should've been. Her initial thought was to wonder why someone had thrown Feraocity's hat onto the roof. But then said hat began to move and talk, all on it's own. Arctic eyes blinked slightly in confusion as the pangolin the the explosion man talked. 'Why didn't they move or speak during the invasion? Or were they sleeping?' The creature couldn't help but think of the other. A little bit of a chill went through her spine as she thought of the kind of person who would be able to sleep through a fight. However Fran's speaking and mannerisms made Artemis think that she was just simply young, and possibly frightened out of her mind by the fighting. That thought calmed the dragon somewhat, although she did continue to look at the pangolin as if she was slightly puzzled. Once she was picked up by Negan, Artie clamped her wings closed to her body and fixed determined eyes to the sky. It wasn't the first time that she had been thrown, however it was certainly the strongest. The older orphan did his best to ensure the little dragon extra air time, although she began to wonder if it was something to thank him for as she whizzed through the air. Arctic eyes squinted against the wind, wings clamped tightly to her body, as the girl waited for the apex of the throw to snap them open. When the upwards acceleration slowed and she began to dip, Artemis snapped opened her wings and pushed down as hard as she could. The force caused her to bounce up for a second before she began to fall again. Hurriedly, not wanting to fall out of the sky, the little dragon pushed down with her wings again. Over and over the orphan beat her wings, causing her to bob up and down in the sky very much like a buoy on the ocean. Negan's toss had landed the girl up rather high in the air so that her erratic flight had plenty of room for error. The orphan's eyes were narrowed in concentration as she continued to flap. There were many things to focus on with flying, especially for one not used to it. She had to beat her wings in time, together, to stay aloft. The smallest twitch from the large appendages would cause the smallest wobble. Then there was her tail, which acted very much like a rudder. The feathers at the end were opened to their largest extent which probably didn't help the little dragon. All in all though Artemis was happy about the draining exercise and focused on an unsteady descent, bobbing up and down in the air in a general direction back towards the roof. |

Fran looked on in confusion as the boy started talking about throwing people into the sky to fall down as if it was something normal. Fran had seen the little dragon thing take flight before or something similar after being thrown. Maybe she was rusty or trying to polish off her technique but she did have wings so it would most likely end well. This eased the little dolls worries about doing the unthinkable, but this was still a rather random thing for people to do so her confusion was understandable. She let out a sigh of relief as she was sure there was not much to worry about. All the time though the dragon like creature kept staring at her blinking in confusion occasionally. Fran had totally forgotten that it had been quite some time since the dragon girl had seen her move and might have been forgotten. She was a bit too comfortable around those of Adrestia and assumed the dragon remembered her so she let her little secret out though she was not too worried about it. The Dragon seemed like the quite type and after she had her little ride in the sky Fran would ask her to keep it a secret. Since Negan seemed to like her she could not be that bad. As if on cue to her thoughts about talking with her Neganhad lifted her up and launched her into the sky with rather explosive force. The fact that he used an explosion to launch her startled and frightened Fran as she took a step or two back before seeing the dragon like girl go up and up and up. Just as she reached the top of the throw she began to try and fly. It was rather unsteady and had Fran rather worried at first as she seemed like she might drop out of flight into free fall at first. Luckily the girl seemed to have some control over how she moved through the air so Fran once again breathed a sigh of relief as she looked over to Negan who was waiting to try and catch the dragon. She sometimes forgot just how scary his quirk was since he always was acting as such a good big bro for his sister and was always kind in their dealings so far. Regardless of his quirk she was not going to let that get between her and her family as she slowly and cautiously made her way over to his side. As she did she wondered how it would be to be able to fly and spread forth wings to carry you through the air. She started to flap her little arms that would stretch a little bit as she did so. She thought of something interesting as she saw her body stretch due to the motion. Her recent training and probably a few other things had made her realize a power of hers and she wondered if she could use it to fly as well. She pulled at her sides as her skin began to stretch out as she pulled it and held it in the form of wings. Looking more like a fluffy kite then a dragon flying of course she would not be able to actually fly but she might be able to glide for a bit, and in the worse case scenario fall with style. Of course that would require her to jump off the roof or get the exploding boy to throw her. Both less than desirable choices, but as she pondered this She would see the Dragon heading back towards them safely and would awkwardly clap still holding onto her weird skin flap wings not really generating much noise as stuffed animals were a bit soft for clapping noises. If she were to land or at least get close to it Fran would speak again to the dragon and then to Negan. "Woo did gewd. You were wike a bwirdy. Now wy turn. Frwan will fwhy too!" she flapped her wings a bit at this hoping that it would work and she could add another skill to her repertoire. Fran still knew so little about how to use her changed body and really wanted to make the most of it for both herself and for the rest of her family. Heck if she got on good enough terms with Negan she would have a better chance to convince his sister to teach her how to stretch and bend like she does. Regardless if he was willing to throw her or not she thought it would be best to consult the expert on this to know what to do when or if she got airborne. As Far as Fran could tell it was just flapping your wings a lot and hoping that you went up, but she had never really paid much attention to things flying around in the air. "How do woo fwhy?" she would say as she looked to the dragon girl hoping that she would tell her some profound insight. Edited by Prizoner, May 24 2018, 08:05 PM.

Well what do you know? It looked like the little dragon actually managed to achieve flight. Negan's mind was set at ease when he realized that Artemis was out of danger. He had been pretty worried that she would fall and get injured but luckily that didn't seem like it was going to happen. The maroon-haired boy had initially thought that he had put a bit too much power into his throw but that power was probably the thing that gave Artemis enough airtime to properly get the hang of flying. With Artemis seemingly under control of her flight, Negan turned his attention over to the little pangolin that had graced the two of them with her presence. Kneeling down so that he was at the little girl's level, Negan smiled warmly and spoke softly to her. "Hey, Fran. So you came to see how we what we were doing, eh?" "Now wy turn. Frwan will fwhy too!" Negan tilted his head in confusion slightly, wondering if he had properly heard what the little girl said. Was she asking to fly as well? But that would be impossible. Fran had no means of flying to speak of and Negan wasn't about to just throw her into the air like he did Artemis. He didn't want her to get hurt and even if her plushy body protected her from the fall damage Negan still didn't want to risk anything. If Fran got hurt he would be devastated. She was so young and innocent, seeing her get injured thanks to him would be too much for him to handle. "I'm sorry, Fran but I don't think I can do that. Artemis was one thing because she can fly but I don't want to risk you getting hurt." He felt bad about disappointing the little girl like this but he didn't feel like he had any other choice. Training was one thing but throwing Fran with the force that he threw Artemis could hurt her badly and who even knew how bad being exposed to his explosions might be for her body. Yes, it was for the best if Negan refrained from doing anything like that. The male half of fusion ha turned back to Artemis once she had safely landed and gave her a big thumbs up for a job well done. Negan's plan had worked and best of all it meant that this little dragon thing had more or less learned how to fly. "Hey good job! You think you've gotten the hang of it now?" Negan was really hoping that she would say yes so he didn't have to throw her some more. Chances are she would be able to fly even easier the second time he threw her but throwing her again also added another opportunity to fail miserably. It was one thing for Negan to do something dangerous on his own but he didn't want to actively put somebody else in danger. lp

Flying took a lot more work than it looked like it would. As such when Artemis landed on the ground she set down a bit more heavily than she intended to, breathing heavily. Still she glowed with pride, finally satisfied that she had managed to achieve flight, albeit with help. 'Now I need to be able to lift off the ground by myself' the girl thought to herself, determination rising. 'I am going to become the best flier in the world.' But that would take a while, and currently it seemed like the little dragon was getting attention from her two companions. She couldn't help but puff her chest out a bit when the two praised her, although the question that Fran posed was certainly a curious one. Artie had to tilt her head a bit in concentration to understand the other's slightly odd speech. She gave the topic a bit of thought while Negan shot the other girl down. While Fran didn't look naturally equipped to fly, Artemis did remember how the other flattened on top of the roof before bouncing back to her normal shape, and watched how she stretched her sides opened. Decision made, the orphan reached into her harness to get out her pen and paper. She scribbled her thoughts onto the material before holding it up so that the others could see. "I can fly because my wings can push me up into the air. You don't have anything to push you up, but you might be able to glide, which is just being in control of how you fall." Artemis hopped that both of them saying that the pangolin couldn't be able to fly as she was didn't dishearten the little girl too much. Having dreams to strive towards was always good, especially in such a slow paced life that Elysium gave. That last thought made Artemis pause a bit. She didn't want to completely shatter Fran's hope, so maybe if the other truly did want to fly, gliding would be enough. Flipping her piece of paper over, the little dragon once again set her pen to work. "You don't get hurt from falling, do you? If so you could always climb onto my back and once we're up high jump off and try to glide. Best way to glide is to have as much of your body opened as possible and to lean towards where you want to go." |

Fran nodded to the boy as he asked if she came to see what they were doing not wanting to look foolish though she felt it best not to go into detail about what she had originally thought they were doing. After that though she got a rather disheartening reaction from Negan when she showed interest in flying. He showed confusion on his face and tilted his head making her believe that he did not have faith in her ability to fly through the sky. She had seen kites do it just fine in the past and the principle seemed the same. Sure her flaps were sorta hastily made and she had no idea if it would actually work, but you never know unless you try. Still hoping he would understand and let her try despite the worry on her face he began to speak. Of course he started with an apology and said that he would not do it. More specifically that he could not do it which sort of got her confused. He said her having wings was what allowed him to throw her, but he would have had to seen her catapult herself up here but a few moments ago. Even though the fall was not quite as far she could honestly take a simple impact since she had taken multiple Kiba punches and Mercutio blasts. When Mercutio was over protective of her she could take it because he was like the man of the house and his word was more or less law to an extent, but Negan was clearly showing favoritism to the little winged one and she was not going to have it. If worst came to worse she would just launch herself up their just to prove the point to him. Before she could rip into him though the Bird girl had landed and he gave her his congratulations as Fran sort of just looked at him not able to show her mild frustration in her button eyes. Fran would be clapping at the same time though still wanting to show that girl her support. She also got an answer to her question from the girl though it was not in the manner that she would expect it to be. It seemed this girl really did not speak or at the very least did not speak openly to Fran for some reason or another. Maybe she had a funny sounding voice like Fran did. She of course had gotten over it a little bit since they were all family, but maybe they did not see her as such. Regardless of the reason Fran read it even moving a bit closer to be sure of what she read as the girl explained that she couldn't push herself up in the air so that sort of made sense to Fran, but the other girl was mostly going down on her path and she was supposedly able to generate upward lift. Then again the part about gliding might have been more accurate to what she was wanting as she looked down at her arm wings. If she really swung her arms enough and they happened to stretch just right she might have been able to fly but for now the gliding thing might still be a possibility. "Frwan gwide so throw?" she would say as she pointed to what the girl had written down before the girl seemed to take it back and begin to write down again. This got her curious as the timing was rather poorly timed making her think that the girl was going to change her mind. Though on the flip side she might be agreeing with the plushie so she waited for her to show what she was writing. After a brief moment Fran looked at it and nodded to the question about her not getting hurt from falling. Fran was liking where this was going as she saw the girl offer to be her launch path for her trying to fly, but at the very least trying to glide if that seemed like it would fail. This was the opportunity she needed since he had already thrown the dragon before so throwing her again would only be logical. "Wokay!" she would shout as she ran at the girl. Fran did not slow down as she ran at the girl until the last second were she jumped up and tried to stretch herself out. Her body would contort and twist in the air as Fran looked the dragon over as she decided how best to tackle its form. She had practiced this before on a few dolls and the theory was practically the same. She was getting rather good at it too only popping the head off them 1/10 times now. Frans head would rest on Artemis's head as the core of her body ran across the neck and spun underneath her body just before the wings not wanting to interfere with the wings as it would curve back up and run along the rest of her back as she passed the wings. Her arms and limbs would spin around the dragons covering them in her softness but moving along with the girls motion as to not interfere with that either. After all this was Fran's idea of how to use her stretchy properties to keep others safe so it slowed them down or weakened them to much then that would defeat the whole purpose of it. He would have to throw them now since they were now one creature with wings which was his one complaint. Sure he could say that her jumping off was dangerous, but how could he possibly argue with two cute creatures fused into one. Summary

Negan sighed in defeat as Fran insisted that he throw her. The little girl was dead set on flying and Negan just didn't have the heart to tell her no. He watched as the little dragon and pangolin communicated with one another and decided to get thrown together. Fran would be hugging Artemis while she flew so in a way it was like the child was flying as well. Negan wasn't entirely comfortable with the plan but he figured that it was a good compromise. Worst case scenario he would have to catch them both but that didn't seem like something that was out of the realm of his capabilities. "Alright, I'll throw you both. But you have to promise to be careful, alright?" There was a bit of worry in his voice and the way he spoke made him sound like a parent. He was still young, yes but he had matured fast in order to properly take care of Rosa over the years. For whatever reason he couldn't help but get worried when it came to the safety of children younger than him. Walking over to where the two children were 'fused'. It was kind of funny seeing other people attempt something like fusion. It made Negan wonder what people thought when Rosa and himself fused into Taylor. He figured it must be weird to interact with someone that was actually two people. Describing what it was like to become Taylor was an incredibly hard thing to do. It felt almost like an out of body experience that made you feel invincible. Negan realized that he had lost his train of thought. He was supposed to be helping Artemis and Fran. Snapping back to reality, Negan knelt down and prepared to pick the two girls up in his hands. He didn't want to just throw them with no warning so he decided to wait for their response before going any further. "Alright I'm going to pick you guys up now. Tell me when you're ready to be thrown." The male half of fusion ha would scoop them up in his arms and balance them on the palm of his right hand, getting into a pitching stance as he prepared himself to throw the two girls up in the air. "I'll make sure to throw you guys at an angle so that you'll still be above the roof. Just in case you guys fall I want to be able to catch you." With that said, Negan waited for one of them to speak up and give him the signal that they were ready to go. He figured that it would be Fran considering the fact that Artemis didn't talk and it would be rather hard to write down what she wanted to say while he was holding her. lp

Fran's excitable charge made the little dragon pause. She wasn't quite sure what to make of it and wondered if the Pangolin was just too excited. That was until the other leaped at her, not even bothering to slow down to find out where to grab on to. Artemis stayed stiff while the other morphed around her, curious about what exactly this person's quirk was and how this was easier than hanging off of a perfectly made harness. While Fran did her best to not constrict the orphan, she still found it a bit odd and uncomfortable. But the little Pangolin wanted to fly, so who was Artie to smash her dreams? Artemis stretched out her wings and rolled her shoulders, making sure that her new suit didn't constrict movement too much. Her writing tools were shoved into the nearest accessible pocket, the little dragon not caring much for organization at this point in time. She looked up to Negan when the boy wandered over to the two. 'Now he's asking for permission to pick me up?' the orphan thought, a bit perplexed and amused by this sudden question. Not too sure if he'd see it the little dragon nodded, fixing her determined gaze one again towards the sky. Stats

Sure stretching and changing her form was probably not the only way that she could have gotten onto the little dragon, but she would probably interfere with flight if she was hanging from any one spot given balance weight and her maybe hitting the wings. Regardless this was the best way that she saw to get a ride as well as practice her new found stretchy abilities. That all aside it seemed that their teamwork had convinced the boy twin to throw her so her first goal was accomplished. She would smile if she had that much control over her expression and was not using her head as a sort of helmet for the dragon girls attire. The boy would make his way over as the dragon girl began to adjust herself and move about most likely checking her freedom of motion. Fran made sure to move away from any joints that she seemed to be moving for flight and properly adjust herself as if she was being a suit taylored to match the dragons motions. With her freedom of motion assured she would make sure to give the Taylor her attention as he would go to pick them up and ask them to tell him when they were ready to be thrown. Fran would wait for a moment giving the dragon girl a chance to speak not knowing she could not speak. She simply believed she did not like to speak. Regardless the answer did not come from her so it looked like it would have to come from Fran if it was going to come at all. "Frow wus!" she would say a bit of excitement on her voice as she opened her mouth to speak. She often wondered if that was even a necessary motion for her to do given how her body worked, but it had become an ingrained habit and she thought it best just to go with it since the only people she would speak to or want to speak to were her friends anyways. It might be a useful trick though if she could learn to throw her voice. All of that was irrelevant thought as she had to focus on her soon to be first glide or if she was very lucky first flight. She would tense and tighten a bit for a moment at the thought of it before realizing it might restrict her little dragon partner. There was so much more she still had to learn about this little trick that she was not the most skillful at its use. She would loosen up though to maintain her freedom of motion and so she would not hurt her. She could just imagine the wind blowing against her skin and the feeling of being carried higher. She would definitely enjoy this and do her best to wait till the apex of the throw to even do anything at all as she tried her best to just be a second skin for the dragon. LP
