Class Placements

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year's Entrance Exams! You took part in one of the site's most intense events and (in most cases) made it to the end, so well done.

As previously stated, we will only be permitting entry to 15 students TOTAL this year. Considering that 30 of you took part, that's half of you not getting a U.A. place. The school has never been this competitive, and we've had to make some very cut-throat decisions that uphold U.A.'s values and reward good RP in a difficult event. For the first time ever, too, we have witnessed some very troubling behaviour that will see consequences.

Without any further adieu, below are the class placements for our chosen 15!

Class 1-A

Eun-Jeong Ito - Aced every objective, portrayed Heroic behaviour, had a good handle of and employed creative use of their quirk. Took good care of their cargo. Screamed what U.A. is all about.

Nicholas Nixon - Showed Heroic behaviour and was creative with quirk usage. Good Teamwork skills, overcame a bad team choice, etc.

Sky Mathews - Approached every challenge well, took the hard routes and forged through regardless. Good care of the cargo with a good vision of what Heroics is about.

Miyuki Akiyama - Did decently well, a little passive at times but took good care of their Furby. Placed first overall in their exam, interesting quirk usage.

Momo Jeon - Took very good care of cargo, showed teamwork and adaptability. Roleplayed weaknesses well, knew limits and had a good head for Heroics.

Class 1-B

Meiji Wata - Some issues with inferiority compared to another candidate. Took good care of his cargo, made some interesting decisions that made for an amusing ride, and creative usage of quirk.

Jun Yukimura - Lacks confidence in himself, but had good judgement and Heroic potential. Made smart decisions and showcased good quirk usage.

Penelope Hill - Took good care of cargo, and was selfless in her decisions to help others. Wasn’t reckless in fights, but did engage in combat where necessary.

Tony - Delivered the cargo, creative usage of quirk without over-playing it. Improvement lies in more combat capability.

Ann Drover - Finished the objective and took good care of their cargo throughout. Very timid with combat and requires the most development here, plus developing a more Heroic mindset. Stop going for the nuts, only Villains do this.

Class 1-C

Matthew Hatten - Very cautious, but made sure Furby was well-protected throughout. Could have played more to Heroics. Good problem-solving and adaptability.

Raiden Yoshida - Showed good initiative and dove into the objectives, but was too reckless at times. Requires a bit more control and development.

David Gibson - Very rocky start to the exam, but showed improvement towards the mid-section and showcased good quirk usage. Good objective focus, need to bear in mind that U.A. is an In Character and Out of Character experience.

Sora Evans - Standoffish and reluctant to agree to teamwork, but showcased good control of his quirk (in stages), plus completed the objective. Reckless decision-making that needs to be kept in check, and bear in mind that U.A. is an In Character and Out of Character experience.

Ariane Mercado - Took good care of the cargo and used their quirk well. Often played it too safe as opposed to taking some calculated risks. Held back by lack of confidence and/ or bravery in situations.

Runners-Up

(( The following candidates have been put onto a mailing list for U.A. If any of the above 1-C candidates drop out, these runners-up will be contacted and have the potential to fill the empty spot for one IC year only. ))

Marilla Foley

Yasui Ririko

Vasily Pronin

Eloise Dubois

Mari Shinohara

Important Extras

Cupid - Following the events of their entrance Exam, Cupid is called in to speak with U.A.'s psychiatrist after showing disturbing sociopathic tendencies and wanton destruction around them. Following the psychiatrist's evaluation utilising their mind-reading abilities, it has been determined that Cupid will be held in custody and transferred to an appropriate facility dependent on what is brought to the jury.

For those of you chosen, well done! You are official U.A. students and your first class will begin on May 14th. Start doing your reading and get a feel for how the prestigious school functions. U.A. is a total of one and a half years OOC of commitment, with strict posting times and objectives to reach year on year. If you do not believe you can keep up with this demand and you have been selected, please contact a moderator and we will fill a slot with somebody who can commit this time and dedication.

Class placements are final and will not be amended unless in the above event, or in case of other drop-outs. Whining at moderators about your performance (or lack, thereof) will see you being removed from U.A. before starting.

It was included as a note for a couple of people, but please remember that this experience is something that must be upheld in character AND out of character. Not only must your character adhere by U.A. rules and attend the school, but you as the player are held accountable if you are out of order in any aspect in the Discord/ the community at large. Places in U.A. can (and will) be revoked for poor out of character behaviour.

That being said, better luck next time to those of you who failed. U.A. isn't the only option available on site, so we encourage you to develop and become a Hero under your own steam!

Now and forever, always remember to go...
