Verified Magical Girl
|
Vivi registered the words 'alright' and 'come with me' with a confused blink before she was suddenly scooped up into the arms of one of her allies. "H-hey!" A boy with brown hair using something that seemed to be a smoke quirk to her, it was one of the people she saw on the jet on the way here! She remained silent as she was carried away. It was one of the many up and downsides of taking on this form. The upside was that she was easy to transport due to her light weight and small stature, because she was after all a little girl. The downside was that she was easy to batter aside for the same reasons. The man-girl pushed down her embarrassment, resisting the urge to snap at him, and adjusted her position in his arm for comfort. Hopefully no one was paying too much attention to her this moment or she might not be able to live this down. Then again, she might not be able to live at all. "Uhm...my Quirk?" She mutters just loud enough for him to hear. "It uh...it turns me into a young girl that shoots small blasts of energy" She replied. "Yes, it's weird, it's kinda a family thing to have strange Quirks...Is that a tail? TAIL TAIL TAIL TAIL TAIL!" VIvi watched as a massive tail lifted itself up and moved to slam into the jet. Before she could even sat anything or act, the smoke boy, she remembered his name now, it was Rainer, was off, carrying her along for the ride as he scrambled for safety somewhere. She shut her eyes and only opened them when she could no longer feel movement. "Uwah." She couldn't help but squeak out when she was unceremoniously dropped onto the sand by the boy carrying her. She actually felt herself bounce off of the sand. "I-I'm good!" Vivi replies to him. "I mean, nothing feels broken, but you can never be too sure. She mumbled the last part of her sentence, making herself difficult to understand. "I don't seem to be in any pain but you look like you're worse off." She stands in front of him and extends her hand in an offer to help him. "There are places better suited for a nap than the sand you know?" She remarks with a small smile as she scoops up some of the sand and stuffs them in several pockets. Just as she finishes she spots a large bird like thing and panics. "Quick! There's a bird coming for us!" She takes him by the hand and yanks him up, urging him to get up and run. Summary LP

Sweet Baby Lemon Hands, the wizard, is here to the rescue!

Sonomi’s eyes dimly glowed as she remained affixed to the battle up above, and she could nothing but continuously contemplated the idea of using her quirk if she could. It appeared more people were joining up to talk with Gjöll during her thoughts, but she could do all but tap her kitten slip covered foot in anticipation. There was many risks that were involved in her using her quirk, but yet so many rewards and gains if it was to be successful - damn was her vision on them getting harder to follow as her chest heaved upward in frustration. “Just heave me up there to help you…” She mumbled to herself, knowing the risk of her being up there in the face of danger. Wasn’t it worth it? Wouldn’t it be worth it? To potentially sacrifice herself to give Mercutio the shot he needed if whatever was up there had proven to be durable? The girl closed her eyes to listen to the sounds that remained around her, and from what she could gather, the war was soon coming to a close - despite the explosions and numerous other noises that abruptly made her twitch in protest. There was still a few big problems she knew had to be dealt with, and since Satoshi was going to be assisted by the medical gang not too far off from her… what was to stop her from running off to continue fighting? It was the warm feeling… like fur… It coiled and bended its furry tails around her scarred and recently thawed out arm in an attempt to warm her. “Mmm…” She softly heaved with a calm smile before looking down shortly after to find the source of the warmth. It was coming from a small fox boy just getting to be as tall as her as she cocked her head to the side. “Well hello there-” She abruptly stopped as she scanned more of his features, the sudden recollection apparent to her as she heard his name. “You’re from the beach… the ship...” She quietly said as her big blood colored orbs stared into his own sea blue eyes. “I’m Sonomi.” She responded quickly upon the fox boy, Mairu, introducing himself properly to her. It seemed in the older girl’s eyes that he was hesitant in pointing out her sudden disappearance since they last met, her expression softening before shaking her head. “I’ve been gone despite the happy ending I had in meeting Mercutio-san and all of you briefly. I guess you can say I’m selfish but-” She stopped herself to heave in a quick breath and place her free hand behind her neck in an attempt to calm her nerves. “I wanted a happier ending.” She silently mouthed before looking back over to the medical squad, up at the sky, then back at the Mairu. He shows deep concern for the girl’s health and requested that she come back with him to get treated up, to which she pursed her lips in silent confussle. “Ruru-chan.” Sonomi said abruptly as the sudden nickname sparked between the pair, “I’m completely fine! I don’t need to go seek help, but my brother, Satoshi-san.” She looked over frowning before looking back over at Mairu, “He does. I’ll come with you, but only to drop him off before I run off to right what I can.” She stated as she cautiously reached her hand forward to pet the top of his head for only a few seconds before pulling it back. “You don’t want to see me get hurt, and I wish nothing but the same for you and everyone else here. I didn’t just save these orphans to have them get hurt from people who pretend to be heroes.” The comment hitting more towards Sonomi than Vitality themselves, but she played the act well enough that she had began adjusting Satoshi to rest back on her as his brace. She would of even starting walking immediately towards the medical squad had it not been for a voice that she had not heard for a long time. The boy that spoke the comment was lucky Mairu had been in her vicinity or so help them God, they’d find it ultimately had to use their quirks if their hands were busted up. “Hi… hot-head. It’s been a while, but then again I don’t look hardly as beaten up as you do.” She commented as she looked over at the arrogant Welsh boy that’d somehow fancied his way over to the trio who remained secluded for the most part. “I’d love to chat more Heat Miser, but-” She carefully readjusted her brother before giving the Welsh a shit-eating grin, “I have to escort someone before going back out to fight. We can chat later.” She finished before beginning to walk in a moderate pace to where the rest of the group was, and ultimately agreeing with Mairu’s idea to join up with them to help her brother out at least. Vigilante
|
Mordred's arms fall back to his said, the extra spine and flesh dropping away dead and lifeless under their own weight. The husks would join the corpses of the men dispatched by Mordred in the sand. He noted the routed enemy and did not pursue. He watched with eyes grim. He noted allies dropping their guards, enemies fleeing, the casual banter that seemed out of place on a sandy field covered in the dead and wounded. Mordred kept his spiney armor on. There was no knowing what may happen next. Noting Mercution and Tsukiko still fighting, Mordred would give space and start moving away from them to be clear of the area of effects they were throwing at each other. He could not fly and the body he throw seemed useless. All that was left was to stay vigilant until the end. He would move to the rear and keep everyone in front of him as best he could. lp stuff

King of Free-form

Pulling herself back up and out of the ground, Hiko emerged dragging an arm behind her. After her foe had finally kicked the bucket, she stretched a little as she hefted his cybernetic arm over her shoulder like a trophy. With this, she would finally prove to her papa that she was useful. Looking to her side though, she would see something a bit strange… the sand was soaked in blood. Worrying for a moment that she had left a trail behind in her casual homicide, she looked around only to see one of her fellow orphans being manhandled by a face she didn’t immediately recognize. Her eyes widened as she immediately snapped into action, stone gathering into her body, her form began to swell as she prepared to defend her fellow survivor. Lifting up her arm, the stone girl froze as she finally recognized the face of the small kid who was attempting to drag the orphan away. She had seen him back when all this trouble started. He had stood beside them at the start of this war, so why was he dragging Derge around. A better question was what had happened to the boy, and why was he missing a leg. Not one to be suspicious by nature, Hiko assumed this guy knew what he was doing, lending an arm to help him carry the larger dragon boy off to safely. “What… happened to him?” She mumbled as she tried to balance both the boy and her trophy in her grip. She had hoped the injury wasn’t self inflicted …this time. Approaching the gathering of other Elysium residents, she panted as finished dragging the body. After having killing a combatant, and then helping another not get killed, she was pooped. summary

Manaia made sure to steer clear of the nightmarish battle going on between the strange lady and Mercutio. Words were spoken, attacks were done, and Manaia just wanted to hell out of there. Tapu wouldn't survive in an environment like this, she needed to act and fast. Her eyes quickly scanned the battlefield, just managing to see Chameleon with her thermal vision before he vanished off behind the walls that Abyssal had made previously. If she was so powerful enough to make those walls, surely Mercutio must have had some trick up his sleeve to destroy her so quickly. It was not a comforting thought. Chameleon did say to follow them, but in her current state she would give away his position with ease. Invisibility wasn't much use if you had a giant glowing owl right next to you. Why she might as well fire lasers into the sky as well. Back home, she was a symbol. But here, she was just another soldier in a field of overwhelmingly powerful quirks. It was time to hide in the shadows. Suddenly, her glowing body began to dim in brightness, eventually glowing next to nothing as she continued to fly. Hopefully, the rest of the battlefield wasn't nearly bright enough to see her too well. With an Owl's natural silent flight, it shouldn't be hard to follow Chameleon without attracting any extra aggression. Still, that would be difficult considering the giant beast's tail was coming straight for the jet. As far as she could tell, Sub Zero Ego was down there. He seemed to be powerful in his own right. Hopefully, things would go alright for them. But for now, she avoided everything and continued to follow Chameleon around the walls. Poor Tapu... She hoped she wasn't flying too fast for his injured body to handle. However, she'd much rather fly fast than move too slow and see him bleed out some more. Only time would tell if he would survive, but she was desperately hoping he would. Summary LP, Stats, Techniques & EP's

“Weak…” The flaming sorceress made her rounds of the battlefield, burning away any followers of that crazy flying void energy bitch up above. No matter how much they begged or shouted for her to stop, she would pay no mind as she raised her staff and incinerated them on the spot. Before the long, she ran out of these easy targets and was left at quite a loss. By now, she was far out on the edges of the battlefield; just in time for a total of three worthless men running all but into her arms. They were expecting to swim away? “Weak…” She muttered, spinning her staff in a swift circle and planting it ahead of her in the island’s top layer of sand. In spite of using her quirk, both her hair and eyes remained in the same pitch black shade as they had been following the Taylors saving her. Something had snapped in her subconscious mind, and she was in no hurry to try and think about what it was, exactly. No, instead she had to do what she could to purge those who were even weaker than her. Those who were weaker than weak deserved nothing except death. Rainbow flames cycled around on the sand’s surface, aiming to ensnare those who were trying to escape. She didn’t waste her time with the usage of a stronger attack; even her weakest powers should be enough to burn them, scorch them, and leave no remnant of them behind. If only she weren’t impervious to her own magic, else she’d orchestrate her fate to match with these poor unfortunate souls. From her position on the far north of the island, past whatever chaos was ensuing with the jet, and far away from the aerial battle, she paused and surveyed the battlefield. Her expression, previously filled with excitement, determination and pride to be fighting with those that she held dear, had turned to ash. She purposely removed herself from the others as not to be followed or spoken to; to avoid the inevitable questions that would follow. What’s the matter? Are you hurt? Her grip on the wizard’s staff she held tightened, fingernails digging into the wooden construct with her teeth gritting in the process. There was no way she could continue to allow herself to be the weakest in this community. It had been right in front of her the entire time, and she had been far too blind to so much as acknowledge it. Maybe there was a reason that she tried to be away from Elysium as often as possible. Freedom… it was an illusion for her to try and achieve, due to her weakness. And it was pathetic that she’d even tried to grasp it. Fire coated her entire body as she remained at the island’s far north, therefore not being in the firing line for that huge blast of immeasurable strength. Just witnessing it made her sour expression darken even further. As if she needed further proof that she had to leave this community for her ineptitude… Post Summary LP Costume & Weapon |

Honk.
|
It wasn’t long before another wounded began to show, an ally dragging along another wounded. The wounded, of course, bleeding profusely. The shear panic that struck Leroy would cause him to completely miss out on the signing of Artemis, as apparently the fellow either was unaware or too stupid to take into account Gjöll’s quirk. It was a blessing, of course, being the island’s doctor. He had a rudimentary idea of every inhabitant’s quirk, mainly for profiling reasons. It was fortunate the erasing girl was present, as hopefully she’d be able to subside Gjöll’s bloodlust. ”Oh for Pete’s- Miss Sonomi, would yuh be so kind as tuh uh-rase Yole’s quirk so he ain’t all fidgetin? Cain’t imagine all this blood bein’ good fer ‘em. Assuming the scarlet eyed Suo would comply with the goose’s modest instruction, the medic would begin to check upon the wounded child he had been delivered. The poor thing was completely missing a leg, the wound having been gnarled and hacked to bits. Whatever had done this to the boy, it wasn’t humane. Considering the massive blood flow one’s leg would hold, it was unlikely he’d remain much longer. Not longer enough, Leroy thought, for the group to safely relocate him towards the hospital. ”He ain’t got long. Hospital’s still a mess, and I can’t stop that kind of bleedin’ here. Kids, turn yer heads. Now.” The goose’s normally jovial, and lighthearted tone took an abrupt nosedive, the pink doctor surprisingly serious. Feint, pink tears would begin to stain the ground, as he’d slowly float down towards the bleeding orphan. He’d give the dying child kiss on the forehead, say a quiet prayer, and place a small orb of Kindness into the orphan’s temple. Assuming the unconscious child was unable to fight it, the burst of energy would give off a horrific, chunky snap, the young Dragon Slayer dying with a smile on his face. Without saying a word, the solemn goose would begin swimming through the ground, making a beeline towards Alana. Thankfully, she’d be fairly easy to find considering the multihued flames that lent to being her trademark. While obviously excited to find his friend in well enough condition, the sorrow of a child passing still persisted in the back of his throat. ”‘Lahner, Miss Lahner! Ol’ Yole an’ nem’s off all battered like, said Abbyser and uhnother ‘un ain’t dead yet. Said we cain’t let ‘em get away or nuthin’ tuh heal up. And uh, ‘fore I head off tuh heal ‘em-” The goose’s bubbly voiced began to dim, his tone lowering to only slightly above a whisper. Sorrow no longer persisted within the translucent goose’s expressions, but had been washed away by that of disdain. “They left uh kid too far gone fer me tuh save. Son’s uh gun’s got chil’ren blood on their hands, thought I’d let yuh know.” And with that, the hyuckin’ honker would begin to swim his way back towards the wounded group, floating underneath the ground the entire way. His power was finally beginning to resurface, albeit slowly. It was but a slow dripping IV, filled with the proper measures to begin taking care of the Suo’s and others. While it wouldn’t be enough to fully wipe away their wounds, it’d be a start. summary

The Master

Nala The giant beast swung its tail with enough strength to cause small swirls of air pressure around the very tip of the appendage, growling lowly as she zeroed in on her target... Her tail successfully struck something on the jet, and it took her half a second to realize that it was... a human? Whoever it was had managed to catch the tail and successfully slow the hit, but he wouldn't come away unscathed. Her whole body was covered in insufferably tough armoured scales, complete with a rough coating to inflict damage to whatever came into contact with it. The attack's strength would shake the jet and almost knock it onto its side, if not for that human who had gotten in the way. When the mechanised flying machine righted itself again as Nala swung her tail back around, it landed with a hard crash on its wheels which promptly destroyed the landing gear; AKA, perhaps the most important thing required in order to get a jet off the ground. Chameleon It was quiet... far too quiet for the assassin's liking. Aside from the gentle sounds of waves lapping against their get-away boat, there was all but no sound filtering towards them from the battlefield left behind. It was eerie in a way, to go from deafening, ear-shattering attacks to... nothing. The stealth operative from Vitality shook his head slightly as he scanned the shoreline of the last portion of the island he had yet to see following the original splitting of the island. As they broke out of a small bout of ocean-bound mist, Chameleon started to see the extent of devastation here. The dividing lava wall had been... all but entirely destroyed by something, and the grounds were all but completely turned upside down. In the midst of this desolation, he spotted two humanoid yet barely moving figures. He hopped off the boat and made his way towards the two figures, finally able to see more about them. Through matted hair, he could just about make out the face of Huntress. And not far from her, the limp body of Abyssal lay, eyes barely open. "Yeah, yeah... we're lucky to be alive..." His leader coughed, immediately sensing his presence which made Chameleon stop in his tracks. "I won't ask what happened. Instead, I've arrived with another means to escape." He rasped as he approached, timidly. Force of habit, he supposed; even when his boss was in no position to lash out, he was still very much scared of her. No more words were exchanged, but he could feel the utter contempt and anger radiating from Abyssal in waves of raw power. Something told him that full recovery would be out of the realms for these previously powerful women... Mooks The three remaining mooks make it to the far north of the island after successfully running away. Met by Alana; assuming the free-form fire isn't stopped or halted at any point, the mooks are burnt alive. Zero mooks remain. Tsukiko's Battle 'I promised myself...' She gritted her teeth as she leapt forward in mid-air, going straight for her target with hatred flashing in her eyes. 'I promised that I wouldn't let him get to me...' Her body flared with deep purple void, licking her limbs and hair like a wild blaze. 'I've already lost...' With this resounding thought, she was all but upon him. Tsukiko was far too enraged to really notice the bad state which the previous explosion had left her opponent in, and she wasn't thinking clearly enough to react to Mercutio's shift in power. A large pressure built around him and started pressing against her as she soared right for him. But although it slowed her down, she didn't buckle under its power; even if her body started to receive wounds with the longer she surged forward to deliver death to the man who had ruined her whole world. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAH...!!!" She yelled out as she drew her right arm backwards when she was right in front of Mercutio, indigo energy whipping up around this limb wildly. Just before she was within range, she was blasted point-blank with the crimson pressure that she had been blind to during her enraged assault. With no time to really react, she could only try and push void energy out ahead of her to try and lessen the impact of the blow. Even doing so, she was left breathless as she felt various ribs crack under the pressure. She couldn't feel either of her arms. Her legs were supporting her atop a thin layer of void energy keeping her airborne. Tsukiko let out a shuddering gasp, trying to ignore the stabbing pain in her chest. With such a versatile quirk which seemed to be without flaw, she had never really needed to train her physical attributes. That... had always been her brother's focus. "No..." She rasped, gathering further void energy around her while trying to focus on Mercutio at the same time. One leg gave out and she buckled down to her knees, just about keeping herself aloft for the moment. Although she had negated the energy that rushed at her, there was only so much she could do about the physical nature of that strike made against her... With no feeling in her arms, she wouldn't be able to muster much by way of counter-attack. Scratch that; she could muster nothing. "If I am to lose... then I have to die..." She remained knelt on a wave of void, but slowly looked up at Mercutio. An image flashed in her mind's eye of her brother, whom she never ceased to think about. "I've... failed you again... Hiro-kun..." |

After having dealt with her own forces, Lyra had been standing rather shell shocked in watching all of the events happen. And also the sudden realization that she became what she hated the most, upon realizing the knife in her hand having brutally massacred the mook's mouth. Just looking at that agape mouth of the now deceased soldier sent her memory going back down to the point in which she herself bit the blade. She wanted to feel normal, she had to act like a monster to survive... Was there any real kind of balance to be had between both aspects? It was hard to say, but more likely than not she was going to have to figure that out afterward when there wasn't literal death upon the battlefield and when there wasn't a literal hole in her dang arm. Recalling all of her paper, she gripped her covered arm heavily as the Adrestian Robed woman decided that there was nothing to do except reconvene with everyone else. Her eyes quivered as she was having to deal with the burning pain of an empty hole in her arm, Lyra glad that her paper was at least keeping the injury held in. Taking steps towards the group, she could feel her own head start to heat up. Her own feet would trip in the sand as she was sent scattering on the ground. Pulling her face right out of the sand, she tried focusing her vision on the group in front of her. Seeing the kid with that weird power, Fearocity, and the Ghoost (Gooset? Ghooset? Leeroy the Kind Ghost?) doing something to a dying kid. Oh, she heard a very vicious sound as the kid's head rotated before collapsing on the ground. She didn't recognize the boy, so it was probably someone that deserved to die. And that was it before her own vision started to fade in and out of focus. "Fuh-... Frick... What's goin'..." Lyra muttered out loud, trying to right herself up. Pushing her hands against her own knees, she tried dragging herself through the sand. Her feet felt like lead as she trudged through the sand a couple more feet before falling elbows first into the sand once more. It wasn't her head and her arm that was now feeling heated, but slowly her entire body started aching. Muscles seizing up as she crumpled onto the ground, the young woman barely keeping enough focus to keep her paper bandages from falling right on off. On the ground, she reached out for help towards the medical group, in obvious distress. Curling up in the sand, gripping her own abdomen, Lyra was feeling an intense burning, stabbing feeling inside of her gut. Something was happening to her. Something... was changing. Summary

“Pathetic…” The fiery woman muttered as she watched the last remaining drips of life get burnt into ash in front of her, still holding tightly onto her wizard’s staff. She had yet to see more stragglers that came with that purple energy-using whore, so she could only really assume that most, if not all of them, had perished. It was a shame, really. They had been nice, easy targets for her to kill and not waste too much energy on. Without them being around to attack, she remained as far away from everything that was happening as possible. The tarrasque launched an offensive on the Vitality jet not too far away, which would have previously excited her; made her feel proud of those she was fighting with. Instead, she watched the strike from a distance with cold eyes and a dark glower for an expression. Just as she was resolved to start searching for a way off the island, or at least a place she could hide away in, a familiar voice reached out to her. She turned slowly to look at Leroy as he approached her, swimming in the ground up ahead. The goose told her that the other Generals of Adrestia had managed to make it here from the far side of the island, and that they brought news of Abyssal and another Vitality operative. They hadn’t been killed, apparently, and there was word being passed around that they had to do their best to intercept the Vitality members to ensure they didn’t get off the island. The petite sorceress listened without uttering a word, face still without any emotion complete with her midnight blue hair and eyes, it appeared as if something had perished within her. Before the goose left her to heal the returned Generals, he mentioned that one of their own, one of the orphans, had been wounded too badly to be saved. Vitality now had the blood of a child on their hands. From the roots of her midnight black hair, hues of blood red started to flare up and start spreading down her long locks. The same happened to her eyes as this sunk in for her. Granted, she had no idea which child was being referred to, but an orphan was supposed to be under her protection… and they had died. Perhaps if she wasn’t so weak, she could have been there to offer assistance. But instead… she had been dedicating her energy to taking out her frustrations and inadequacy on others. Still… she would have likely gotten in the way of saving the child all the same. But that didn’t stop the indescribable rage that started to build within her. “Leave it to me.” Her voice was emotionless, but her face was contorted into unadulterated rage while her hair and eyes all but burned with hatred. She wasn’t sure what she could be trusted with, nor what she could do exactly, but she would do something about it all the same. Rainbow fires ignited all over her body as she lifted her staff, and she was off like a blazing shot; headed for the gap between the magma wall and the waves. What on earth… what was she doing? If Mercutio couldn’t kill Abyssal, and if the Generals couldn’t kill the other operative… what hope did she have of doing the same? Either she’d prove herself to be strong, or she’d die in the process. It didn’t take her long with her enhanced speed to check out the middle divide of the island, and it was easy to spot the mostly ruined final magma wall that would have separated the further segment of the island. Humanoid figures, laid out on the sands ahead, caught her blazing eyes as she rushed to approach. She was blind to anybody else being in the area, and she instead fixated on the forms of those that she was told… couldn’t be permitted to live. “The Sorceress has arrived… to secure our victory!!” She announced her presence as she blazed a path right for the downed women, lifting her wizard’s staff dead ahead of her. “Your supposed strength is disappointing. The weak deserve to die.” Rainbow fire ignited at the tip of her staff and her eyes flashed as she finished charging her technique. “Burn!!” Post Summary Techniques Used EP in Use LP Costume & Weapon

"That's good..." Rainer muttered, his right arm of smoke grasping his left one in pain. Gah, my arms really fuckin' hurt. The bounty hunter glanced up to see the girl extending out her hand, softly chuckling as he accepted the gesture. His ass hurt a little from hitting the ground so many times, but on the bright side Vivi was relatively unscathed. An incredibly loud noise came from the jet, Rainer glancing back over as the humongous tail slammed down on it. But despite the tail's sheer size, what was possibly even more scary was that the guy from Vitality could stop it. Insane bastards. Rainer looked back at Vivi and was about to say something as she pulled him up and turned to run. Rainer's head turned back slightly as he began running after her, catching a glimpse of the giant thing out of the corner of his eye. Fast! He only got a glimpse at the creature, but it instantly sent shudders down his spine. Like a giant ravenous bird of prey, swooping down towards its prey. "Get on the ground!" Rainer shouted, jumping and shoving Vivi out of the way with all the force he could muster. The bounty hunter fell to the ground himself, turning on his back to see the avian creature descend upon them. Hands raised out in front of him, smoke spewed out like crazy in an attempt to block it. But he knew it was just an effort in futility, a hopeless act of desperation. He was like a kid, cowering under the sheets of his bed as if it would protect him from the monsters under his bed. At least Vivi's out of the way. Rainer chuckled, giving in. "Huh?" Rainer's shoulders were raised up close to his head, eyes halfway shut and head tilted slightly to the side. His teeth were tightly clenched, awaiting death. But as quickly as the bird descended on them, it swept down near the ground some distance away and shoot back. Rainer's chest heaved up and down rapidly as he tried to digest the information. A miss? Rainer didn't even think further, scrambling onto his feet and bolting the other way. "Vivi come on, run!" he shouted, grabbing the girl if she was on the ground and pulling her up. This was his second chance at life, and he wouldn't fuck it up. Or maybe it was his third. Or fourth. This war was really something. As he ran, the smoke Rainer just spewed morphed into a wall behind them, thick and large to obscure vision. Thinking back on it, Rainer roughly remembered that creature earlier in the fight. Whoever controlled it was a good ways back into the battlefield. At least like this they wouldn't have line of sight on the two of them. That wasn't to say they were safe from all dangers, and Rainer knew that. It was only a matter of time before some other danger appeared. It was a good thing then that they were nearing the shores. Water sloshed up against the island's land, and the magma wall ended just around the corner to their left. It only took Rainer shooting himself with a few blasts of smoke, but they'd flown to their destination. They weren't clear of danger, but their goal was visibly in sight. Glancing back once more, Rainer looked at his wall of smoke floating apart as it begun to disperse, and then his eyes moved over to Ezra. You'd better make it out fine. summary LP

Gjöll wasn’t sure what to expect as he finished pulling the pieces is of destroyed gauntlet from his arm. He would braced himself as Eizen’s hands touched his skin, ready for the same violent power he had seen on the Dark Continent. Much to his relief this was not the case, as it seemed the orphan had found a way to focus his power to heal without first having to destroy whatever he was working on. That being said, the healing process was still not without its own discomfort. In addition to the pain the injuries were already giving him, would feel a burning sensation across the surface of his arm as the cells began to multiply and the wounds slowly began to close. The process was slow but to Gjöll it was far better than the alternative. The boy’s comment about his hand was still concerning, but he had fully expect that to be the only method of healing any of his wounds. As far as healing went, everything seemed to be going better than expected. That was until someone decided to show up and wordlessly drop a partially dismembered orphan near the group. It had almost been a year since the spoiled rich kid had decided to use Mercutio’s gun to break is own arm, but it seemed his manners hadn’t improved at all. By the time Gjöll had shifted the knife back to his right hand to yell at Mihles, the boy was already out of earshot making it rather pointless to do so at this point. As his gaze came back to the bloodied and dismembered orphan, he would already to feel his bloodthirst coming back to the surface. He would immediately try look away, despite knowing it was already to late. His subconscious was already beginning to try and take control. That never works… So why do you keep trying it? Force of habit. Now go away. Why? You want to punish that snobby runt and I want to kill something....sounds like we have an agreement. I don’t… That’s not what I want….. Afterwards we can go back over and finish what we started with the wolf woman. You mean getting ourselves killed? She was out cold, it should have been easy for you.... Even if she is unconscious we’ve lost too much blood.. We already had our chance, we lost. Let it go. Maybe if someone wasn’t so weak… You’re even relying on a child for help.. Pathetic…. And if I let you take over we likely die… I’ll take my chances with Eizen.. The entire exchange would take place within his mind over the course of a few seconds, after which he was able to return his attention to the battlefield around them. He could still feel the bloodthirst pushing in at the edges of his mind, but for now he would keep it at bay. ”Oh for Pete’s- Miss Sonomi, would yuh be so kind as tuh uh-rase Yole’s quirk so he ain’t all fidgetin? Cain’t imagine all this blood bein’ good fer ‘em. “Don’t... Please...I’ll be fine” Gjöll requested, a slight strain in his voice. “I haven’t spent two years working to control my quirk for no reason. Besides we still have enemies on the island, I don’t want you to have waste your effort on me.” Ever since that day on the beach, he had wondered how Sonomi’s quirk would affect him, but at the moment her talents could be used on far more urgent matters. He also would likely lose the sensory enhancement that his quirk provided, making responding to any incoming threats that much harder. Finding out what exactly happened when she erased his quirk just for the sake of curiosity could wait for now. ”He ain’t got long. Hospital’s still a mess, and I can’t stop that kind of bleedin’ here. Kids, turn yer heads. Now.” To anyone who had seen the good doctor demonstrate one of his final acts of kindness before, the doctor’s change in tone clearly gave away what was about to happen. The older boy would pull off the remaining side of his cloak as the doctor essentially performed his own version of last rites. As the goose reached for the boy’s temple, Gjöll would tossed his cloak over boy’s body, attempting to block the vision of anyone else who hadn’t looked away. He didn’t know who or how many of the other orphans knew the now deceased, but hopefully not having to look at his corpse would help ease the pain a bit. In addition to helping block out his view of the orphan’s blood, it also helped mask the scent,as the cloak was already soaked in the older boy’s own blood, easing his bloodthirst a little. The goose had vanished into the earth for now without a word, hopefully to find and deliver his message to Alana. He would notice Lyra as collapsed nearby. Had she been hit by something? He hadn't seen any attacks headed this way. Possible a different wound that had finally caught up to her? He was unable to move at the moment, as he didn't want to disrupt Eizen's treatment. "Someone check her and see if shes wounded. We've already lost one person too many today. Please tell me she's not bleeding....." He called out to the others around, obviously concerned for the girl's well being. While he wanted to help find out what the others from Vitality were up to, for now he would just have to wait for Eizen to do his work. There was no point in rushing the boy as it was obvious he was putting all of his focus into trying to help him. He wanted to ask Eizen about his strange abilities, but as the orphan seemed focused on his task for the moment, it would have to wait. It was rather frustrating to feel so helpless at such an important time. As Eizen was focused on healing him, Gjöll would keep himself on high alert for any incoming attacks, to give them the best chance to avoid them. Summary

The mass of this beast was unlike anything Ezra has ever faced if he was being honest. The fact that he was standing on this damn plane to face it was ridiculous in itself, however, he wasn't going to leave his make-shift team behind. Eyes scanned the battlefield for a short moment before he turned his focus on the tail that was coming his way. Extending his right leg back and his left leg bent, he held up his arms, keeping them slightly bent to prepare for what was to come. By the time the tail connected, he felt his entire body shake down to his core. The mere weight and power this damn thing had was ridiculous. However, that wasn't going to stop him, from getting his team free from the plane. The wave of air that came from the tail would catch him off guard as it made it difficult to keep his stance. His suit would end up facing a good deal of damage from the scales, which pissed him off as he had just paid for this damn upgrade. Leaving well enough alone, he watches as the others made it to the waters. Feeling a bit of relief, he used the time he had when the beast wind backs his tail to go for another attack, to run his way down the jet and launch off onto the side. Going for a roll, he used his momentum to carry him the moment he hit the ground as he had to adjust to the effects of going up against that beast. If he had to face it, he would be wise to use more of his strength, because that thing was far too strong to take on in the state he currently was in. Leaving that alone, the plane would crash not long after, though, by that time, Ezra had already made it over to the wall. Opting to climb instead of going around, he sinks his talons into the wall and began to scale upwards. Once he made it to the top, he was able to get a view of the other side as he spotted the owl and the other boy. Rainer and Viktor were on their way through the water, and... Who was that? Noticing a girl heading their direction, he knew that she had to be someone from Elysium. "Watch out, she's going for the attack!" He yelled out to Chameleon and the others while hopping off the roof to head their direction. Given the speed at which the girl moved, he doubts he would be able to catch up in time, so he just had to hope the bunch was quick with their actions/ Summary, Stats, Items, Techs, LP |

God of Destruction

Mercutio height slipped ever so slightly as his body gyrated in air more a few moments as the force hit him again and his he continued to abuse his quirk and this abusing himself. The crimson cascaded over him, sweeping him closer to Tsukiko as she embraced the brunt of Mercutio's attack. Finally, going on four years, he found a way to defeat her and the promise he made, around two prior, would be kept. Mercutio thought for a moment of where he had come, who he had become because it had felt a lot longer for him than it had for her. Who he was and wanted and would be was solidified and would be seen now. "Tsukiko-chan, you know what I must do." he said as all the color in the area faded away and he poured from his being. The temperature sky rocketed as Mercutio dashed toward her and began to unleash his rage. 'Mercy may have been needed before, but a promise and a precedent come before anything else now.' he told himself as he pressed a fist hard into Tsukiko's gut. His legs would swing high into the air and a platform would be their to catch him. He'd launch himself head first into the back of her head to put her into the ground many meters below, but he refused to stop there. Kicking off the air behind him to gain maximum free-fall speed as inspiration hit him in the form of his Love, Alana. Her fury and ruthlessness reflected what he knew he had to do to scare anyone from coming back to threaten his home. Mercutio felt a crunching of some sort near his knee and wasn't sure if that was to say it to be his or his opponents. Pain was a rather moot-point at the current stage and Mercutio was far to focused and dead-set on the kill and his ruthless instincts took over. A rushing knee would attempt to collide with Tsukiko, impaling her into the ground with the force before Mercutio would take his good free hand to grab the pretty Blue-haired bitch by the neck and drifted high into the air, about four-hundred and ten meters. Crimson began to radiate out of him and slowly encompasses the entire area of his range. As he did, the area above him would positively charge from the heat and below him as well while the center where he lay laid a small portion layer of Tsukiko's negative energy. Thunder cracked the flash of lightning crashing into them both with Mercutio remaining unfazed. His Crimson Instinct would cease as he screamed at her, "Let this be a lesson to all whom think of coming here to cause harm because it is a crime with a sentences is almost assuredly death." The air cracked and popped as flames and lightning crashed and swirled around them as the air itself began to shake and vibrate. All the hair within the area he was manipulating or anything cloth or easily destroyed would fall in and crush upon itself from the sheer pressure he was generating. "I'm going to overload you, hit you with so much energy you won't be able to absorb it." he smiled wickedly. Manipulating his Soul to move his fucked arm, he channeled energy to both of them and placed both his palm over her temples where she use to have to little nodes when she was younger that allowed her the use of her quirk. "My LOVE is an EXPLOSION! HEAVY SPIRIT CRIMSON BLAST!" Releasing the force of his Spirit Gun without direction like the shot gun but in a burst much like he'd taken to the face from Taylor, the fusion of Negan and Rosa. The blast would constantly flow into Tsukiko regardless if she would absorb it, in fact he wanted her to do, he would constantly, relentlessly, deliver her what she wants most. "Go see your Brother again, tell him I'm sorry." he sighed softly as he drove his knee into her nose repeatedly. Something was different though, crimson energy was flowing, but it appeared more so to be explosions. Mercutio's hands mimicked that of a Explosion quirk user, the copy coming from Negan's Heavy Blast technique. Knowing what he knew now, he knew that she could ruin anything that was his energy, but his goal was to generate a bi-product of energy that she couldn't absorb as well to not only overload her quirk, but scramble her brain with the rapid concussive forces. Mercutio spun them to look at the fleeing Vitality, "REMEMBER THIS DAY, BOI! REMEMBER... WHAT SIDE OF HISTORY YOU ARE ON!" he screamed as he refused to let up his assault on Tsukiko. "REMEMBER THE MERCY I SHOWED YOU TODAY!" he said while gritting through the pain of using his arm when he should, hell... using his quirk more then he should... but the end was in sight. Techs & LP |

His suspicions were confirmed. Though Vivi and Rainer were fortunate that the distance between Crawford and the jet was ambiguous, they were far from being out of the woods just yet. Arawn stopped short, the line between him and his host tugged upon, leaving Rainer and Vivi seeming completely safe and sound. Of course, William himself could have simply strode forward. But he chose not to, instead deciding to see how they would react to the beast figuratively biting at their heels. A literal smokescreen was attempted, but it wasn't terribly effective. Of course, William's sight was disadvantaged by his distance, but Arawn was much closer, and his superior animalistic senses made it quite easy to track the direction Vivi and Rainer were moving through the smoke. 6 keen eyes watched them head toward one of the magma walls that Abyssal had set up earlier. So it was true then. That they weren't all fleeing randomly. Rather, they seemed to be some kind of rendezvous point, near where Mercutio had fought Abyssal. Perhaps the woman was still alive, and Vitality intended to retrieve the number 1 Hero safely. "Arawn, return. We must take flight." William could not risk allowing this rendezvous to occur without his watch. Should Abyssal receive immediate support, she could become a reckoning upon the battlefield once again. Additionally... William did realize there might be benefits in taking one of the higher-ranking Vitality members alive. He suspected that they might be more closely connected to WISH's operations compared to other offices, given they'd been entrusted with this sensitive task. They may well hold information on just how deep WISH's corruption ran. As his shadow monster returned to him, William wasted no time making use of a very dangerous ability of his. He'd no time to waste, however, and if he wanted the best angle on the rendezvous as quickly as possible, then this was necessary. Arawn's shadowy shape began to flow over William, meshing and melding with him. As shadows seemed to invade his very being, his appearance would change, morphing into some hybrid between shadow monster and man. One of great fury and ire, as Crawford maintained the rage that sustained his shadow monster. Only, now he and Arawn were the same being. A demon had arisen upon the battlefield. Great black wings unfurled from his back, and the demon immediately shot into the air. His great speed directed upwards quickly allowed him a vertical vantage point to survey the field. The great black beast flew across the sky, toward the direction Vivi and Rainer had been heading, and surely enough found himself peering down at the downed Heroes. He was well within range to cut them down, but that was not his plan. Instead, he hovered above them, slowly moving closer as he remained watchful vigilant, waiting for a reason to interfere... And a reason soon appeared, announcing her presence and intent in no uncertain terms. Glancing down from above, William saw the fire-wielding girl rushing at the downed pair with a senseless attack. There was little time to act. Their demises were not necessary, nor as beneficial as their lives. As soon as Alana's intent was clear, Crawford darted forward, extending one of his hands - now a claw in his demonic form - toward Huntress. Abyssal was far more likely to survive the heat-based attack. Hoping to utilise Arawn's speed, the shadowy mass of his claw grew and extended outward, shooting for Huntress. He attempted to clutch her strongly in his grasp, even if it meant cutting into her, and pulled her away, aiming to keep her restrained but saved from a less merciful attack. As it stood, her life was a greater asset than her death, so Crawford did not feel it was unnecessary to stop his enemy's demise. Summary Trump Card Techniques, Stats, LP |
