Rainer moved back, getting closer to Vivi in hopes that she would be fine. As he got vision of them Rainer, would sigh internally that his wall of smoke blocked the two off from each-other. From the last look he got of them, it wasn't going great for the little girl, so he was glad that she was still unscathed. The presence of the other enemy drew the bounty hunter’s attention, Rainer glancing over as he did. There was a smug look on the boy’s face, glaring up at Rainer. "Fuck are you looking at?" He looked somewhat surprised that Rainer was there, as if he hadn't noticed the bounty hunter before. Unfortunately for him, the young bounty hunter was already close to Vivi and due to him not being able to detect Rainer, his attack of air was blocked.

The boy wasn't deterred by this though, continuing to move towards them right after. Rainer shot another quick glance over at Vivi and the boy she was fighting to make sure she was still ok. Thankfully, it seemed he'd been more rational and stopped his assault after Rainer blocked him. The wall of smoke dispersed and Rainer put his focus to the newcomer as his arm morphed into smoke once more. But before he could shoot it out, someone else arrived. Thank god. It was one of the other vitality members, an actual member who was with Abyssal, unlike the scrappy group of interns that Rainer was a part of. He demanded the two enemies leave, the boy closest to Vivi and Rainer accepting. Rainer gave the newcomer another glance, seeing him finally turn back and leave.

"Hey! Some of the others are still out there in some deep trouble, they might need you to help 'em! Chameleon was getting pretty fucked up too!”

Turning around, Rainer would run over to the jet’s cockpit. There was some slight smoke emitting from a panel, Rainer smothering it with his own mass of solid smoke. Alright, fuck do you drive this thing.

Homicide Ruling

When Derge reached out for the drill, he would find it abruptly going out of control, its user having died from asphyxiation. With no one to control it, the construct went wild, meeting Derge's leg and slicing it clean off. Derge would begin to feel weak as he began to bleed out.

Fran of course was feeling a bit weird being held as if she was a pet by this Starlord character, but he seemed to have the situation under control and was making the icy boy and the wolf girl leave so there was nothing really bad that the girl could say about the man. He talked about WISH and heroics as well as a lot of other things that sorta went over her head. There were a lot of politics and other complicated relations involved in this fighting that was far beyond her, but one thing that did sort of stand out when she started to think about it all. It helped to have friends that would help you no matter what. Mercutio had seemed to make a lot of them as she saw the days during and approaching this so called war. He had made friends with those giants, that warden, the pirates, and even the Starlord. Despite his job as a hero he put Mercutio first and Fran sort of saw them as family instead of as friends in all honesty. She wanted nothing more than to thank this man for saving Kiba and the siblings over there from certain death. She did not know if she would be able to live with herself if she had to sit by and watch as they died before her without doing anything.

She had truly grown fond of the man and it was not only because he would constantly pet her like a kitten. It was a rather new and strange sensation for her as she was used to being hugged and worn as a hat, but being pet with such care and the feeling it created for her was rather nice. It was probably something she would not experience again after this though as petting a doll was a bit weird unless it actually was a kitty doll. In fact it made her almost positive that he knew that she was alive even though she was doing her best to not give off even a single sign of life. From his mannerisms and the way he talked to her at first he must have known from the very moment that he picked her up. In all honesty she was not sure about what gave her away but it was probably the seal that was a small contrast to her being a doll unless she played it off as a kid having doodled on her in permanent marker. Not that she got to actively display anything or act other than going with the motions. This too was training for her though as learning how to know when her act was not working would allow her to avoid being brought into a trap or being used as a hostage in more dangerous and espionage focused situations. This would not be much of a problem for her though as she would gladly give her life for that of others if she had any choice in it.

As Starlord had finished his assistance of them and had decided to go forth and aid Mercutio more he would send her flying through the air landing onto Kiba softly and feeling a bit more at home even if he was a bit worse for wear. She had not been placed on his head so she was sorta just stuck waiting there until the non Adrestians would go ahead and leave, and despite the fact that there could still be people watching or some sort of surveillance system she would have to adjust herself slightly as Kiba was not in the condition to do it for her. She would slowly scurry her way up and plant herself in her usual place upon his head as she would look down at his arm and worry about him as he still seemed to be in pain no matter how tough he was acting and how considerate he was trying to be to her. She made sure to hug him tightly as he asked her these questions and nodded along not wanting him to feel bad considering he was the one that was in danger and who should be the one receiving the care and attention.

As Kiba had decided that they should go into the battle and check on the others as well as find themselves a doctor she could not help but agree as she did not know much about human bodily injuries given her rather unique physique and not having ever going to school, but normally when things started leaking fluids that was never really a good thing. She sorta imagined it as stuffing pouring out from her. If it did not stop eventually then he would most certainly not be in a good situation. As they got weaker as they lost blood she would get weaker as she lost stuffing so she hoped they could find somebody in time. As they started to make their way to the battle she saw what was left of that giant barrier after her new savior Starlord was done with it. The power at his disposal was immense and she hoped to one day be able to help people like him even if she was never as strong as them. She never really wanted power for the sake of being strong or for any purpose really till she met Mercutio. Now she had a reason to fight so she wanted to be able to do something when these times came.

____________________
INVASION

After going through the wake of disaster she saw more and more people fighting for their lives in various places. What had once been her peaceful home had become a battle field full of death destruction and chaos. She would see people fighting in on and above the ground as some people she recognized and many that she did not seemed to be defending their home. She felt bad before not being able to fight with the other combatants, but this looked like civilians were even standing up and fighting the invaders and it just made her feel lower than low as she was forced to just sit there and do nothing. If only she had a way to change like a true assassin and fight while in some sort of disguise. Or at the very least lend people a helping hand and protect them from even a little tiny bit of the harm.

As they made their way through the carnage and wreckage Kiba had said for her to keep her tiny little eyes on the lookout for a medic or a healer. She did not know many of the people in adrestia who were capable of healing wounds besides the doctor duck and the Mayo boy turned into Mr. Explodo Heals. She really really really wanted to find the goose first since even though he did good work it was still a rather scary thing to see. Since if her stuffing was gone she was dead she was not sure if she would be able to comeback from one of his explosions. While she would not exactly turn him away should he be willing to help she would certainly keep looking. Of course though the fates giveth her a savior and they taketh away as they showed none other then Eizen. Kiba seemed to whistle for his aide and she wanted to call out for anybody else even to scream medic to the heavens. She did not of course, but luckily the goose had also seemed to find them. Fran would breath a sigh of relief if she actually did that.

The goose though did not seem ready to heal him yet so it was either wait it out and bleed a little hoping for the duck to recover or get an instant heal at the cost of explosions, but Fran made sure to keep quiet and still since even though they should know it is her she could not guarantee nobody would notice. She really hoped he would wait but it was his life and he needed to make the choice best for him.

The casual voice came from the fatigued duck lying on the ground next to the blonde.

"What's got ya' so angry, Mister?”

Demetri had ignored their presence and was somewhat embarrassed by his sudden vocal outburst. Luckily, the duck seemed to mistake his hatred for Elysium as concern for their allies below, not fully realizing his desire for Mercutio’s death. If he wished to ever achieve his goal, he needed to learn how to play the role of a good Adrestia soldier.

“...Seeing my home being attacked brings me great despair,” he’d say to the strange duck in an attempt to secure his image as a devoted citizen. “I worry for my friends down below.”

Of course, all of this would be a lie.

Below, the two factions continued to clash. Demetri tried his best to make out the battlefield. It appeared that the two bodies were so conjoined that making any attempt to target the enemy would result in one or two dead Elysians. Turning his head towards the ongoing battle of Mercutio and the blue haired woman, he was not able to hear the two’s ongoing conversation from where he was. Though, he was certain the two had history from how long they decided to chat. Demetri was not sure what he would be able to do in such a situation, especially with such a large beast such as Nala.

In the distance, he would see the invaders escaping towards the jet. This could be an easy target for the beast, in the boy's mind, but Demetri was unsure how well such a command would go. Continuing to release his pheromones into the air he would ask “How accurate would you say you are on a scale of 1-10?” Pointing towards the jet in the distance.

Nala

"Great, watch this." she bolstered, whipping her tail forward at the jet. Sure as she said, a straight shot was coming for the jet.

Chameleon

As the invisible member of Vitality prepared his distress signal to have their back-up assurance appear, he heard a familiar voice call out to him. Ezra, one of his teammates, confirmed the worst; both Abyssal and Huntress were downed, and they were looking to flee the island.

"Understood. Our jet is... compromised, so I'm working on Plan B." He spoke in that raspy voice of his, meaning to warn his teammate about the mess that he would soon be facing. Chameleon hesitated, looking around the central area of the battlefield that he found himself in. He'd wait until the ship was here and then go to collect whoever needed help, with his main thoughts being with his Office's boss and number one assassin.

'Just who on earth are these people...? So powerful to dispatch some of our strongest fighters...' The invisible man thought with disbelief as he made his way over to the waters just in time for the silent sailing vessel to slide up to the shore. It was powered by three speed boat motors, but had been tweaked in order to travel all but silently through the waters. Of their various Office gadgets and the like, this was a favourite of the stealth-favouring Chameleon.

'Hold on. I'm on my way.' He thought firmly as he hopped aboard and tapped on the door to the captain's hold, notifying whoever was driving that he was aboard. The boat whirred into motion, and started to wheel round to locate where Abyssal and Huntress were.

Mooks

Starting number of mooks: thirteen.

Two mooks were assailed by the Taylors' explosions. Both fell, leaving eleven.

Of the mooks that attacked Lyra, two are slain in the ensuing fight; leaves nine.

Crawford's usage of Arawn causes an unexplained high-pitched squee of excitement from somewhere, and successfully downs four mooks; leaves five.

Remaining mooks start to scatter.

Mihles successfully downs one mook in the confusion, leaving four.

Mordred cuts down a further mook, the rest of them in the area having successfully fled; three remain.

Last three mooks run to escape the island.

Tsukiko's Battle

She would show no ounce of restraint or mercy towards her opponent, because he had no mercy or restraint when he decided to kill her twin brother; her last remaining anchor to the world, and the remnants of good that she saw within it.

Tsukiko's face was filled with an eerie sense of calm as she launched her next massive attack, eyes focused and sharp as she kept an eye on whatever would be done by way of countering it. It was quite funny; in a lot of ways, she had learned from the man who tore her world asunder. She started to improve upon her quirk usage in ways that he might, and a lot of her moves were similar in their nature. The fact that she could condense void energies into something solid that she could use for flight spoke volumes of what she had witnessed in him.

She begrudgingly recognised his strength, and in some ways, she emulated it for maximum power and dominion.

A small shred of surprise flickered in her face as she watched Mercutio start mimicking her movements. Was he... mocking her? Anger spiked within her as she assumed that this was what he was doing, and immediately after launching the multi-directional wave of void, her body was taut as she started to dig within herself for a further attack.

Both masses of force, distinctly lacking energy, at first caused... nothing. The crimson and indigo collided in the air above the battlefield with nothing more than a small blow-back of wind. Half a second after the collision, however, a multi-coloured cyclone of sorts started to build together with great momentum as the two void forces interacted and fed off one another. By the end, a huge ball of intermingled crimson and indigo void were whirling, obscuring both fighters' vision of one another.

The very next second, an ear-shattering explosion rattled across the whole island as the energies were sucked into nothingness before exploding outwards. 'There's no way... how... how can he do such a thing...?' Tsukiko thought with absolute disgust and disbelief as she watched the explosive reaction of two voids imploding with massive force in the after-math.

The results of the implosion was a huge, shuddering force down below, and energy cascading downwards in a column of raw, concentrated power which blew a sizable crater in the middle of the battlefield. "My quirk... is supposed to be your Achilles Heel..." Tsukiko's voice came from behind the remnants of wispy void energy, filled with killing intent and raw hatred. "Tell me how...! How can you do this?! Why must you always ruin everything?!?" Her voice raised into a crazed yell, her whole body crackling with her indigo void energies like a cloak of power.

Without thinking, she launched herself right at Mercutio in the skies using a blast of void behind her; aiming to get in close with her entire body trailing dark void energy.

Upon arrival, the battlefield had already been a bit of a shit storm. He had been so focused on his own battled that he forgot that this side would have needed their help more than anything. There was hope that Chameleon could hold down the fort, but there was only so much he could do with his quirk. It was rather annoying, perhaps this is their karma. Initially coming, they thought Mercutio to be the only threat to the rest being minor annoyances. Hell, the only one high on their list as an issue had been the girl that could erase quirks, man how wrong were they.

The fact that he had amassed such a strong group of brats just meant he was fully prepared for this. Ezra was betting that he knew that one day he would have to fight against WISH or someone of great power so he got these brats. There were many in number, a good number of them had strong quirks, and there were children so it could gain sympathy from any hero that may attack. It was actually a good plan, Ezra had to give it to the bastard for that, at the very least. With all they knew now, they had to report back to WISH. He had to question if they knew this, they gathered so much info, so he should have known more than they didn't. Were they lead into a trap all along or did Mercutio purposefully kept things that no one would know except for those on this island?

Ezra would have to do some research later, but for now, he had to deal with this. Upon arrival, his threat was heard loud and clear as the two brats fighting Puff and Princess took off rather quickly. Chameleon had warned him of the jet, so he didn't bother checking that. He instead would scan the battlefield and the skies. He would spot the owl chick and someone in her grasp up top before speaking tot he other two.

"Alright, you two need to head to the other side of that wall. Chameleon is there and another form of transportation is coming. If able, get the attention of the owl chick, looks like she has another one of our men. Which means the other is somewhere. If we're unable to find him in time, we will just have to leave him, it sucks, but we have to get off this place. We were gravely underestimating these sons of a..." He inhaled quickly for a moment before exhaling, the pause would help to calm his nerves while he turned attention back over to the two.

"You guys go, I will get up top this damn thing and see if I can spot Illusionair." With that order, he would take to the top of the plane. As he was about to search for the boy, his eyes caught sight of something else. With the other two still in the midst of leaving, the tail that came from the big beast had been an issue. Along with his arms, his legs and torso would transform as he held out his arms. "You two need to haul ass to that wall, go through the water if you have to, I don't care, get out of the jet, now!" The tail that came would be met with Ezra's grasp as the boy attempted to stop it fully from completely destroying the plane. He needed to give the other two time to leave the area. Once they were clear, he would push at the tail to give him a second to launch himself off the plane and to the sand along the side.

Just before the little dragon had gone in for "the kill", the enemy that she had focused on turned tail and ran. The one that Mairu seemed to focus on also scattered, moving too quick for the boy to chase after, apparently. Chest puffed out with a bit of pride at successfully defending their home, Artemis moved closer to her friend, still looking around them to make sure any stragglers wouldn't pounce on the two, although it seemed unlikely. Still, better safe than sorry, and so arctic eyes swept over the battlefield.

One thing that Artie failed to take note of however was the fight going on above. The shocking boom that resonated from the combatants startled the orphan, making her jump and let out a frightened squeak. She bent down low to the ground and twisted her head up, glaring with fright at the two. The creature's hate for Mercutio aside, the two were a danger and it'd be better if Mairu and his friend were out of the danger zone, in case an attack went awry. 'So we've just got to get to the edge of the beach..?'

The orphan raised up on her hind legs and looked around, wondering where a safe place to watch everything would be. She saw Eizen, the man who had helped Mairu earlier, off to the side with Leroy, the doctor goose. They seemed to be tending someone and, after a squint at the person to see past the distance and injures, Artemis let out a happy peep of recognition. It was another one of her friends, one that she knew as Feraocity. Despite the situation, she was glad to see him again, although that emotion was rapidly turning into concern.

Artemis gently tapped Mairu's leg to get his attention. She signed "Follow?" before she turned around and padded quickly towards the small group. The little dragon made sure to keep a wide berth around the airborne battle, just in case. The closer she got the more serious her elder friend's injuries seemed. By the time the little dragon arrived, worry was clear in every line of her body, although a curious glance was spared for Fran. To Artie, it seemed like an odd fashion choice, although she figured that the stuffed toy looking hat probably either had sentimental value or combat value in some way.

An anxious glance was directed from Feraocity to the two healers. The goose seemed pooped, and too tired to even attempt a healing, although Eizen seemed relatively fresh in comparison. Remembering that the stranger had healed one of her friends injury from before, Artie felt like she had to have faith that he could do so again. The little dragon plonked herself down on the sand and raised up her hands, getting ready to sign. She had forgotten to put her harness on before she left, so she didn't have writing materials on her, and writing what she wanted to say in the sand completely eluded the child. "This guy is good at healing. He fixed Mairu's hurt, so he can fix yours!". A determined snort accompanied the signing, as if Eizen had no choice but to do so now that Artemis said so.

The fuck do you fly a jet?

Rainer spun back around, hastily running into the unloading area. "The jet's control panel is kinda fucked, we might need to-" His words trailed off as Ezra spoke, Rainer slowing his pace as he listened attentively. The man was the strongest vitality member present, so his words held a grave weight. "Alright," Rainer said, nodding. The bounty hunter grit his teeth slightly as the man mentioned how they underestimated the enemy. He knew this was a dangerous job coming into it, but he didn't expect their forces to be fucked over this hard.

"Alright," Rainer said, nodding his head. "Come with me." His smoky right arm grew larger and grabbed the little girl as he ran past her, not slowing down to talk as he did. He had a hard enough time protecting her from a distance, so he intended to keep her close as they moved around outside. Hopefully she wouldn't mind, since she seemed fine hanging on to Tapu earlier. Either way, her tiny body wouldn't be able to resist. Maybe he was being overprotective, but in this battlefield where he had little sway over anything, this was his own small way to control something, and protect an ally from dangers like that boy who was in the jet. Large quantities of smoke roiled from his arm, collecting it into a singular mass for use against any threats.

"What's your quirk do by the way?" he shouted over all the chaos, exiting the jet. If he at least knew her capabilities then he'd feel safer about having her out here. It could also come in handy if they had to overcome a danger. He said to get around the wall, guess we just go back to the shores and walk around it.. He turned to the right, running towards the magma wall. He was just thinking about how it would be nice to fly over it as a noise drew his attention away. "Shit!"

Rainer acted on instinct, putting everything he could into simply moving. The terrifying sight he saw sent chills down his spine, but he didn't stand around to watch it. A giant tail was slamming down towards the jet, and by virtue of its sheer size, Rainer himself. Rainer grit his teeth and sent the smoke he formed shooting at the ground below him, Rainer jumping into the air. Like a rocket shoot off from the ground, the impact sent him flying in the direction of the magma wall. He didn't stop there, taking desperate measures as more smoke streamed out from his right arm, draining on the smoky limb's size by half. Hitting the ground, Rainer instantly shot another blast, the impact of the smoke sending him flying once more, this time angled towards the shores.

His body hit the sand and tumbled a bit, smoke arm dispersing and dropping VIvi nearby if she was still being held by him. He couldn't even tell though, too many things numbing his senses. His momentum came to a stop, laying on his back as he let out heavy breaths. The magma wall was still a bit away, Rainer having nearly reached it. "Ahh, fuck.." Rainer rolled onto his stomach, wincing as he spit out some sand. His body hurt from hitting the sand, but he was holding up. "Motherfucker!... Rainer grunted, struggling up to his knees. "You good Vivi?" He shouted, wiping his face and looking around.

As the boy approached, Gjöll realized how small Eizen really was. He had seen him at a distance on the Dark Continent as well as a couple of times in passing on Elysium. He had never directly interacted with small orphan before, so the height difference between them had never been so apparent. Combined with the how nervous Gjöll already was about the orphan’s strange quirk, his unfamiliarity with the boy just made him feel more tense about the situation.

I'm... guessing you called me over because you needed something, so... How can I help?

Yeah..” the older boy began, still very uncomfortable with the situation. At least the boy seemed willing to help him, that was a little comforting. He would try to explain the situation the best he could. “A couple of us got singled out and walled off from everyone else at the start of the the battle. We got quickly overwhelmed and are honestly only alive because an old friend of Mercutio showed up to bail us out at the last moment. Both Satoshi and I got torn up pretty badly.” He would nod his head in the direction of where he had left Sonomi and Satoshi, before brushing aside the left side of his cloak so Eizen could see his wounds.

Through a shredded undershirt Eizen would be able to see the deep cuts the wolf woman had torn into flesh of the older boy’s chest and back. A knife could seen, still sticking out from the outside of his left calf. The boy’s left forearm was filled with large wooden splinters from the crushed gauntlet. His left hand nearly split in half by between the middle and ring fingers, was also filled with shards of obsidian shrapnel some of which pierced all the way through it. The interior of his cloak along with what remained of his undershirt were all now soaked in blood.

Leroy’s sudden appearance directly in front of would catch Gjöll off guard, making his heart skip a beat. Since when was the goose been a pink ghost able to just phase through things like that? Apparently he had taken up Mercutio’s habit of gaining strange new powers without warning. Unfortunately for the older boy, the doc was all out of juice at the moment, so he was still going to have to depend Eizen’s crazy healing power for help.

The unbelievably loud explosion resulting from Mercutio’s fight would draw his attention away from the group around him for a moment. Luckily near the battles edge they were far away from the devastation that occurred below the two fighters. At this point the exhaustion from his quirk had appeared to fade and his senses returned to their normal level. Gjöll focused on his senses further enhancing them to help him keep track of everything that was happening on the battlefield.

The boy would follow the Terrasque’s attack toward the jet with his eyes, watching as Ezra would attempt to stop the it. No wonder Satoshi had been fucked up so badly by the pro hero. Anyone who was confident enough in their own strength to try and stop the Behemoth’s attack certainly was not someone to mess with. He was now very glad he had followed his better judgement and not mouthed off. He caught sight of Rainer fleeing the jet and heading toward what remained of the wall that had separated the battlefields.

Half a dozen questions ran through his mind: What were they up to? Were they heading back over to back over to Abyssal and the wolf woman? They had both appeared to be alive earlier, just no longer able to fight. If someone from Vitality was able to revive either of them, it could mean serious trouble. What happened to listening to Star Lord’s command to leave? Now that he thought of it: what had happened to Star Lord? The man had been headed this way before them and was now nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately, Gjöll was in no state to follow them, but maybe someone else was.

Doc. It looks like they might be trying to regroup on the other battlefield.” Gjöll called out to the newly intangible goose. “Abyssal and the woman I got these injuries from are over there and most likely still alive. Can you try and get that info as many people as possible, at least Alana. Maybe Crawford and the Taylors would be able to help at the moment too. We can’t afford to let either of them get healed.

The arrival of Artemis and her concerned looks would again return his attention his injuries. He had gotten so caught up in the other events of the battle, his own situation had slipped his mind for a second. Hopefully someone would be able to relay his message to those who were able to help. “Sorry Artemis..I still haven’t had the chance to improve my sign language at all.” he apologized, giving a quick laugh which aggravated the gashes on his chest. It was fairly obvious from the looks that she was giving him that she was concerned about his injuries. “Don’t worry too much about me. I haven’t made it this far without collapsing just to give up and die.

The older boy would turn to address Eizen “So yeah.. As you can see, I got myself in a bit of a rough spot. I saw what you were able to do with Merc and Mordred’s injuries back when we were on the Australia. To be perfectly honest, it was a bit terrifying.” The boy explained, hesitating slightly before finally requesting Eizen’s help. “I’m not sure how your quirk works, or if it can even be used on fresh wounds like these, but would you be willing to try and heal them?” He would wait for the boy’s response before continuing.

If Eizen agreed to help, older boy would further explain himself: ”Thank you...Honestly at this point I just need to just get all this crap out of me and get the bleeding to stop.” he thanked Eizen, referring shrapnel in his arm and the knife in his leg. “I will worry about getting the rest healed once this battle is over and everyone is safe. I’m fairly certain my arm is bleeding the most at the moment so we should probably start there I’m going to start pulling some of these shards out.” Gjöll would shift huntress’s long knife from his right gauntlet to his mouth in order to free up his hand. He would begin pulling each of the large pieces of wood and shards of obsidian from his arm and hand, each one bringing on another wave of pain and more blood. Throughout this process he would keep senses sharpened and stay on high alert to watch for incoming attacks. Eizen would be able to help at any point in the process.

Eizen would listen to Gjoll as he spoke, trying his best to look as serious as he could.... and then that attempt at a serious face would be replaced by a furrowed brow as the older boy explained that he and some other guy by the name of Satoshi (he'd helpfully pointed Satoshi out with a nod of his head when he brought him up) had gotten beat pretty badly, crediting their survival to an old friend of Mercutio's. He'd then go on to pushing aside his cloak for Eizen to see the damage. It... it was horrifying to see, and even with all he had been through both in the Dark Continent as well as South America, what Gjoll showed Eizen caused him to take a step back. His entire arm was in terrible shape. Hell, from what Eizen could see the only thing keeping his hand mostly together seemed to be hopes and prayers. Eizen could see that the inside of the older boy's cloak was, for the most part, as well as his torn undershirt, soaked in blood.

Eizen's attention was pulled away from the older boy upon the very sudden arrival of the strange pink goose. Eizen nearly screamed when he began speaking. When had he even showed up?! Eizen would tense up a bit after the goose admitted that his quirk was 'still on cooldown' (whatever that meant), and that Eizen could help them before he was all charged up. Before he could wonder on this knowledge anymore, a large exploison from behind caught his attention. He turned around to see better, though he didn't quite understand what he was seeing. He could see the large creature they'd brought back bringing its tail down, as well as a large cyclone of colors, but beyond that, Eizen turned back around, staring at Gjoll's arm once again. The older boy would converse with the others for a bit, mostly relaying the situation to them and telling them some stuff that Eizen didn't really understand before he turned back to Eizen.

As the older boy spoke, Eizen's hands gradually clenched into fists. So he had come for his quirk's help, just as Overhaul had said he would. Granted, Eizen didn't really know who else could fix something like this beyond the currently disabled goose, so the impact of that knowledge was slightly lessened, but it still proved what Overhaul had said. Keeping his eyes on the boy's arm, Eizen would let out a deep breathe before stepping forward.

"I'll... I'll do what I can for you. Though I'm not sure how much of this I can fix. Your arm, maybe... but your hand... I don't know if I can fix that without... well, you know..." Eizen would bring his hands together before Gjoll and spreading them out in a motion similar to an explosion. If this had worked on Mairu, then it would probably work on this boy's arm, right? Regardless, Eizen would rub his hands together before focusing his quirk into his hands, letting the older boy go to work at removing the pieces out of his arm. When Eizen felt he was ready, he would gently place both of his hands onto the older boy's skin, mainly over the largest of his injuries. Once he felt a connection, he would do just as he did with Mairu and will the skin to obey him and knit shut. He doubted he could close a wound like this as quickly or as easily as the last one he'd fixed, but it would serve as a good learning experience.

With a huff and a puff, the boy landed on his rear, a bit tired from running up and down a beach without a good night's rest. Quite honestly, he wasn't expecting to feel this out of breath after a few attacks, but he supposed that working on gadgets instead of training had its drawbacks. What was more surprising, however, was that the mooks they'd been dealing with made a big effort to vacate the premises as fast as possible, seemingly giving up the fight. While the boy hadn't exactly beaten an army, he had at least helped a little bit in some way, kept at least a few safe from harm through his actions. He hadn't gotten to do anything cool with launches and combo techniques with Eizen like he'd hoped, but the fighting was looking to come to an end. That, at the very least, was a positive.

Feeling a tap on his arm, the boy looked down to see Artemis signing something to him, Mairu taking a moment to recollect the word. Evidently, Artemis had found something, maybe even someone, of importance amidst the battlefield. Dusting himself off, the boy was about to follow when he spotted a familiar face enter the arena, one he hadn't seen in some time. The girl was there the same day he'd landed on shore, when he'd first met Satoshi, Mercutio and Gjoll. Looking back, the boy was surprised to find the latter boy was actually in the direction of Artemis. Even from a distance, he looked badly hurt. On the other hand, the girl who'd just showed up... she was in danger just standing there!

"Artemis, go ahead! I'll catch up!" The boy called out, starting to move out before abruptly stopping, turning on the spot to yell a little bit louder so the strange pink bird could hear him, declaring, "Hey Mr. Dr. Duck! Keep Artemis safe for me, okay?" Now off again, the child ran towards Sonomi, a myriad of questions going through his brain as explosions went off overhead. Where had this girl been since his beach landing? Why was her arm so hurt? Why wouldn't the war just end?!

Coming to a stop next to the girl, Mairu looked up at her, taking a moment to catch his breath as he looked between her and the fight above and then her arm. Seeing it was a bit wet from... well he didn't even know what to assume, the boy wrapped two of his tails around the appendage, finding it a bit cold as he tried to help her some. While not having exactly spoke personally, she held a connection to his past on the island, so he wasn't all too keen on seeing her get hurt.

"Uh... hey, I'm Mairu..." The boy greeted, removing his tails from her now hopefully dried and at least a little bit warmer arm. Twiddling his thumbs, the boy realized he'd run over in a bit of haste, thinking a moment before he stated, "I don't think we've met or talked a real lot but... you were there on my first day here. And..." An explosion rocked the sky as the fox boy paused once more, yet his features remained fairly neutral. "And I don't wanna see you get hurt... I also don't think there's a lot more we can do here. There's a bunch of medical people over there if you wanna get fixed up..."

The boy jerked his thumb towards Gjoll, Artemis, Eizen and Leroy, letting his offer hang in the air. Far as he knew, he couldn't force her, but he still would've like to keep someone safe for at least a little bit longer.

Fuck are you looking at Mihles stopped cold at that, his hand twitching slightly at the insult, his breathing becoming tagged. It took every ounce of will not to turn around right there and fire a blast at all three of those assholes. But he didn't, instead flipping off the brown haired smoke bitch as he walked away, eye twitching from frustration. Now the mooks were more than just uninvited guests that needed crushed, they were an outles for the unbridled aggression that was willing inside him at the moment. And release it he did, even taking down one of the fleeing troopers as reinforcements arrived and drove them back. The fighting was finally over it seemed. And he'd turn to where the idiot orphan playing in the dirt was, and would get to see firsthand why playing next to a spinning drill was dangerous, as it tore the idiotic boys leg asunder when it suddenly went out of control. Mihles' eyes widened at the sudden bloodshed, he had had no idea what that drill had been, but this was not how he'd expected this to develop. FUCKIN HELL! Mihles looked around and quickly gathered that he was the closest to the dipshit brat, and while the kid was annoying he wasn't quite bad enough to abandon to die, so Mihles rushed towards him.

Mihles would run in and blast that stupid drill that was still running, having to be careful not to hit the dumbass kid on the ground as well. Once the runaway drill was dispatched he'd approach the unmoving orphan, though a quick check would reveal he was simply unconcious instead of dead, at least for now. This meant Mihles had to drag his dumb ass to safety, something that irked him to no end. This is what he gets for doing good deeds, his brother and sister would be laughing at him so hard right now. Before he could set off, he'd be met with another surprise however. The giant hellbeast thing had joined the fray, swinging its tail at the jet where he had been only momentarily ago. Never had he been so grateful for retreating from a fight, and fortunately for the two while they weren't close enough to be in any immediate danger from the attack, they were close enough to see the details, like one suicidal bastard jumping at the tail, and two others trying to fly away only to fail miserably and crash land. Which is when Mihles saw who it was who took such a rough fall, the brown haired ast from before. And as he stared at the boy struggling to rise, he realized, he could kill him. He could walk over there while the boy was obviously wounded and kill him, Mihles being completely fresh and without a scratch on him. As for the girl, well from what little he saw of her reaction, he was pretty sure he could take her even if she were in top condition, which she wasn't. He was fairly certain this was a fight he'd win. There was only one drawback, the orphan who was bleeding out in front of him would almost certainly die, though it was questionable whether he could be saved in the first place. It was a conundrum as whichever he chose, he would not be able to do the other, those two would definitely be gone by the time he returned if he had to drag this shite orphan across the goddammed battlefield by himself. And the temptation he had to let this dipshit die was undescribable, pushing him to let the boy fall into the sand and let the blood weep into its welcoming arms as he finished off those two bastards. But, he didn't. Instead he pulled the slackjawed orphan face to face as he growled at his closed eyes. YOU. FUCKIN. OWE. ME! And all that ran through his head as he retreated for a second time today was the brown haired boy telling him to fuck off. This orphan had better be appreciative, or he would kill the boy himself.

So he'd be carrying/struggling with the bleeding child, who was both taller and heavier than himself, as Mihles looked for a place to dump him off. At least he would find one, a group of unfamiliar people and one semi familiar one, the goose of the hospital who he saw around in there when his arm had been broken. At least he knew he was a doctor. So that's where Mihles would head, unceremoniously dumping the legless orphan in front of them, not really seeing a need to describe his condition. But as he started to walk back to collect on what was almost certain to be fruitless, he'd see an actual familiar face and white hair. The cat slippered bitch, Sonomi. With her was a fox boy who like everyone else he saw but that was all. He'd approach them, smirking at the worn looking girl. You look like shit. If anything was ever hypocritical, this would be it, his undershirt and dress pants all that remained of his usual fancy ensemble, and even these were now covered in blood.

"Withdraw, Arawn..." William uttered firmly under his breath once his shadowy monster had completed its blitz of the remaining mooks. The carrion was reveling in excitement, feeling vigor and bloodlust through its amorphous body, resultant of the damage it had just wrought. Once again, the crow's predatory instincts were honed, but it was far from losing control. The connection between it and its host was strong enough, that Arawn did not give in to its rage. It remained a conduit for William's ire, but returned to the old Warden, perching itself once again on his shoulder.

The battle was drawing to a close. The small army Tsukiko had brought with her turned out to be nothing more than cannon fodder, felled near effortlessly by the Elysian forces. All other threats seemed to be accounted for, bar the stealthy Chameleon and the source of the... odd... noise William had picked up a few moments ago. Mortimer Greenweaver also seemed to be unaccounted for, but given his cowardice earlier, it was highly probable he'd already taken flight.

And as for Tsukiko... Well, the explosion occurring a distance away seemed to indicate that that fight was as destructive and dangerous as ever. Fortunately, William had chosen to hang in the back lines, and had little intention of approaching the deadly light show for now. His interference wouldn't yield much for anyone, that much he was certain of.

Ever vigilant, William's cold eyes scanned over the battlefield, attempting to discern what remaining details he could from their current situation. Those who'd been combatting the other Vitality members returned, battered and bruised, and in seek of medical attention. They seemed to be in good hands, and William himself had little to no medical ability, so decided not to interrupt them. His efforts were best turned elsewhere. For example, toward the fleeing Vitality members by the jet.

The beast he'd been near before was seeing to it that they would not escape easily. Although Crawford himself had surmised there would be little harm in letting them flee, he now did acknowledge it would likely be best to lock down the positions of any remaining Vitality members until the fighting was truly over. Though it seemed unlikely among the proud and independent ranks of Vitality, the possibility of a medic amongst them would threaten the current superiority on the battlefield that Elysium displayed.

One of their numbers stopped the tail crashing down, and another fled close to the wall. So they really were attempting to retrieve Abyssal. Setting a harsh gaze upon them, Arawn uttered a strong command to his shadow monster. "Arawn... Display your dominance." A dark ire was channeled into the carrion beast, who heeded its host's command and flew from Crawford's shoulder toward the smoke-wielding man who was attempting to flee. As it approached, the rage flowing into it caused the monster's shadowy mass to grow large enough to carry a man in either talon. It must've been quite a terrifying sight, that great black beast flowing toward them...

Still feeling its earlier rush of vigour, the shadow monster rapidly sped toward Rainer and the girl he'd brought with him. Without warning, the beast would attempt to swoop up both of them in either claw, before quickly flying into the air and turning around to return to William himself, hopefully with two new temporary prisoners in tow.

Mercutio embraced the blast, knowing she was coming in and glad she was. 'A shame...' he thought as his clothes began to shred and tear as a few deep scraps cut his skin. Crimson cradled from behind him to keep him from being thrown and tossed about, but the force itself was enough to make his left arm basically immobile. It dangled at his side as time began to run thin for him.

The power began boil within him and he hoped that pressure wasn't something Tsukiko was capable of absorbing.

"Meta-Strike." he said with a swing of his good arm forward. A gust of wind rushed first, the smoke, dust and energy would be forced away and displaced by Mercutio's attack. The impact of pure pressure would create an explosive force like no other Tsukiko would have experienced before.

More of the grunts fell, but Taylor still had the urge to battle. Looking above they could hardly keep up with the actual attacks going on. Both siblings wanted to help Mercutio, but they also didn't want to risk becoming a liability. As energy clashed the fused being jumped back from the imploding column. If they hadn't stayed as far back as they did they could have been hit by the resulting column of energy. "Tch, can't risk doing anything here."

Spinning their neck around, Taylor took a look around the battlefield. Overhead another massive attack came, this time from the creature that was brought back from the Dark Continent. The vitality members trying to escape would be perfect targets, but the fused figure stopped as they saw a mass of darkness rush by them. In the dark, they could barely tell what was attacking, but it was heading for the people they intended to take on. "Oh come on!" the two voices groaned. The two felt like there wasn't even any fighting left to be done for them. But unfusing while the battle was still raging could cost them their lives.

Looking around more there was only one other option, the person they had let go earlier. They had transformed again and were carrying their friend away. Rosa piped up inside of Fusion-Ha's mind as Taylor started taking a few steps in the woman's direction, "Should we follow her?" "We did say the bone covered one wasn't a threat anymore, Sister." Negan responded matter of factly. While she agreed with her brother, the younger sibling didn't want to risk an unknown element. "If we just follow we can make sure they aren't trying to prepare a counter-attack." Taylor sighed as Negan did internally, starting to pick up the pace. "Alright. But we shouldn't go too far, I don't think I can keep us like this much longer."

With the internal agreement, Taylor sprinted after the glowing bird. While much slower, with it being the middle of the night it was easy to keep track of where their quarry was going. The fused siblings would be ready to dive to a side if an attack flew at them, but would throw no attacks of their own. If Vitality was planning any tricks, Fusion-Ha wouldn't let them pull their plans off.
