A War on All Fronts: Chaos

As Tapu bolted across the ground towards his target, a large movement caught his eye as the massive beast that hadn't really done much until now decided to join the fray. Unfortunately, he saw it too late to do anything about it, and as it slammed into the ground he lost his footing for a second as his forward momentum was mostly lost. Something blurred across the battlefield, matching his previous speed and aiming to put itself between him and the woman. It wasn't affected by the crash as he saw it go into the air, now able to tell that it was a person, before an explosion burst from their palms to engulf him.

He punched towards the explosion, releasing his pent up power behind it, and while it mitigated some of the force it wan't enough as even more cracks formed along his remaining arm, deeper than the ones he already had. That wasn't the only attack he had to deal with however as they continued flying towards him, lashing out with another extremely powerful attack that Tapu had no way of dodging effectively. Instead he once more put his arm in front of the blow, the force knocking him to one knee and into the sand, shards of bone flying off of his arm as even more damage was sustained.

The person then stated that he was just better, which pissed Tapu off even more. He was able to see the woman he had been targeting leave the area to deal with the new troops, and shifted his focus once more to the boy in front of him. Feeling his extra power starting to ebb once more he pushed off as quickly as he still could and tried to grab on to the boy, attempting to hold him still before surging what power he had left, losing control of his form as the bone mass surged back into his original body, bursting forth a split second later in a storm of spikes that went in a small sphere without control. If his hold went well then the boy would hopefully be skewered over and over again by being in such close proximity.

Either way he could feel himself get weak, staying in the middle of the spike storm as he tried to hold himself together. The damage he had suffered in his titan form was reflected in his normal form now, and he set to work on repairing the extensive network of cracks and missing bone. If he transformed back now he would be too severely injured to last longer than a couple of seconds, so he needed to do damage control to stay alive and the spikes would provide a basic defence.

As the ground steadied, Mordred rose to his full height and turned to see the remaining attackers surging towards himself and the others of Elysium. His right hand disappeared among the spines at his waist in the moments it took his enemies to find him. His eyes briefly wondered to the sky where Mercutio and Tsukiko engaged. The chaos ensued soon after and Mordred's attention was demanded again. His hand drew out a green stone as three of Tsukiko's men leaped at Mordred with weapons bared.

Swords and bludgeoning weapons flew at Mordred, but unlike some of the earlier portions of the fight, these men were nowhere near as powerful or skilled. Mordred shifted his body as the attacks connected allowing all of them to connect with his body. All the men that connected would recoil in pain as their weapons and/or Mordred's spines bit back leaving bloody wounds on their hands and arms as appropriate. Suddenly, the green stone in Mordred's hand exploded in size until it was a longsword in appearance and heft. Gripping the blade in both hands, Mordred struck out with wide powerful strokes. Each swing was designed to fell a foe or more by slicing them in half or removing head from shoulders. Mordred was no swordsman and relied more on his body to tank the blows of the footmen coming his way while his Olympian strength swung the blade around to hit them on the rebound.

Mordred would attempt to keep a space around him clear of enemies. If he became too pressured or it looked like they may move to surround him, he would back up or leap out of the enclosures to keep as many of his enemies in front of him as possible and where he could reach them with his blade as he kept it sweeping in the air. Over time, his spiney hide would likely begin collecting weapons in the tangles of his flesh and give off the impression of an indomitable force to the underlings.

She didn't seem to listen to what he said, not truly. Everything Derge said was true, he hadn't been trying to lecture her or take some high ground morally. That simply wasn't his intention. Derge was merely throwing his frustrations at her. He hadn't expected to be berated like that, She threw his words back in his face. It was fine, Derge had no reason to stay on the plane. The damage to the panel would likely prevent him from flying the plane, not that he could figure out the controls anyway. It didn't matter anyway.

Derge attempted to walk off of the jet, leaving the woman standing there. He tried to take the peaceful approach and just walk away. Despite turning his back on her, Derge hadn't dropped his guard. He watched her in the windows and listened for her. The sound of the floor creaking under her steps reached his ears and the reflection in the window confirmed her intentions His jaw clenched tight as he cocked his head. It was an unfortunate situation.

He had been so focused on what the girl behind him was doing, he hadn't even noticed the boy coming towards him from the front of him. Derge about jumped when a rush of air zoomed past him. He kind of sort of recognized his attacker's attacker as an inhabitant of the island, though the two never actually spoke to each other before. While Derge had been waiting for his foe to get close enough to make a move and surprise her with a sudden burst of speed followed by a quick counter-attack, this worked too.

Derge didn't waste any time, dropping down and spinning to avoid any potential strike from the foe if she had been able to evade the airblast attack. He was faster than he looked (BOOSTO (D)+2 Speed to C- -10lp). As he spun around a large solid light construct formed around his hand (Light Dragon's Claw (D) +2 Strength to D+ -10lp). Derge dropped under her strike zone. Charging in closing the distance, getting in real nice and close, he would try to deliver a strike of his own. A large clawed paw like creation speed towards the attacker's throat using the momentum from the sudden speed boost and dropping into the spin maneuver he had attempted. Derge activated his new ability, it would allow him to keep up the fast pace without using stamina for a short period. He wanted to end such an unsightly fight as quickly and cleanly as possible.

Her?

There was only a brief moment of time for Rainer to register what was happening. From behind the boy came a familiar face, the young girl that came here with him. It was reassuring to see that she lived. Rainer had little idea of how her quirk functioned, and quite frankly, her appearance didn't scream powerful. So for her to has survived up to this point, the young bounty hunter felt even more confident that they could make it out of here. But it was important that she stayed that way, and Rainer would instantly take action as he saw her.

"Hmph." Rainer's right arm was already transformed and pointed at the boy, so the moment he saw the girl leaping from behind, smoke would billow out rapidly from his hand. Shooting out through the air, he attempted to spread out to a large shield cutting in between the two of them. Once again, he had no idea how strong she was, or how strong the boy was. But at the moment, he wanted to cut any potential damages. The smoky shield would spread out as quick as possible to form a thick wall between the two.

But before he could move in to do more, footsteps would sound out from behind. Another one? The young bounty hunter would run deeper into the jet towards his ally, glancing back to get a look at the who was coming. Keeping his eyes on the newcomer, Rainer would see him shoot a blast of something. He could see from the corner of his eye that the girl and the boy were fighting, but they were located in an awkward position for him to intercept. "Fuck off!" The bounty hunter grit his teeth, pissed off that another person was coming to distract him further. Maintaining the wall of smoke without looking, his arm would expand, the smoky limb stretching out to cover the length of the jet's interior. Poof. With a soft impact, the blast of air would hit his smoky arm, dissipating out and doing little damage. His arm would retract quickly, Rainer sprinting back towards the girl so that he could more easily fight them without fearing for hitting her.

"Hold on, I'm coming!" His right arm arm would coil with smoke once more, the substance swirling around as he aimed his arm for an attack if need be. He refrained from any more serious attacks in fear of injuring the jet or his teammate. Damn. This would be easier if I could get her out of here.

Discord - The Bird of Hermes

"...all that I am, down to the last drop of my blood."

For Discord that was not just words. It was not just some idle statement for Mercutio's favor. It was a promise beyond that of blood.

She swore it into her bones.

Descending from the sky above clad in the ebony embrace of her cloak with crimson clouds, Discord came down with a thunderclap onto the battlefield. Her descent crushing any random grunt that would be unfortunate enough to underneath the Dark Angel.
A faint Scarlet elixer would veil the young woman before opening up to span out two red wings that surely protected her from falling such a great height unscathed. The red energy crackled along side her back as the brand on her chest would see the a deep radiating heat. This demonic visage would be paired with the void like ooze running down along the sand as she barred her sharpened fangs with eerie red eyes.
The initial landing would be like god slamming a door to the certainty of Nirvana as now there would be nothing but the echoing reverberation of her landing offering if anything a brief moment of battle around her. Her indigo locks were much different now, replaced by ebony strands that reached down her back. Her golden eyes revealed a deeper connection to the Seal that Mercutio placed on her, her original corpse like body molding from the new found energy that coursed within her as her veins pulsed red with Mercutio's energy that surged throughout her body into her wings.
She would quickly scan the battlefield as she rose up to her full height her eyes full of feral anticipation. She was the most unknown to vitality and despite being one of the orphans it was clear she came ready to fight and with the ichor shrouding her flesh and the sand underneathe her, it was clear she had ill-intentions for those who did not heed her appearance.
She began to rise from the sand, the Scarlet energy surrounding her form and intermixing with the void seepage. She was truly a sight to behold as she began levitating just above the earth underneathe her.
No more words or quips. She was ready.

Artemis paused, worried, as she realized that her question may not have been the most tactful. 'Is it a serious wound?' she wondered as she moved a bit closer to Mairu, her worry showing. The little dragon didn't have much experience with wounds, in fact she didn't have much experience with anything. But if she had to class this as something it would be a "serious boo-boo", not something to cry over.

Luckily for the little dragon an older man came along. At first she was wary and hesitant with him. This was, after all, a battlefield, and Artemis had never seen this guy around before. The two children could look like easy prey, after all. But the man seemed to be nice, and even fixed her friend's split lip. The girl gave a small, happy peep to the stranger when she was introduced. Someone so nice to take time out of a battle to fix an upsetting injury was certainly someone to get to know.

With introductions done and hopefully a new friend in the making, Artie turned her attention to the man that Mairu had pointed out. She raced after her friend, struggling a bit to keep up. 'What can I do though?' the little dragon wondered. So far her spit and claws had seemed ineffective. She would have preferred to be thrown up into the air, but didn't want to be so far away from the friend that she wanted to protect.

'Maybe I can trip him up?' the orphan realized. Her small size in such a fight was probably beneficial to her, if only she could manage to use it right. While Mairu went in for an attack at their opponents chest, Artemis ran around his legs to try and bump him in such a way that he'd stumble, or trip. If they were able to fell their opponent and he was still alive and ready to fight, the little dragon would steel herself to do what was needed. She'd try to leap on his back or chest, depending which way he fell, before he got up to slash at his throat, hopefully killing him and stopping him from hurting the two children.

Homicide Ruling

-Due to previous strain in combination to the shockwave produced by Nala, Tapu wouldn’t be able to block Taylor attack. Even though they have similar speeds stats, one has been throughmuch less exertion compared to the other.

-The culmination of damage, A-Rank blows and loss of limb has led to Tapu's falling unconsciousk, meaning he is unable to maintain his transformation, and has started to bleed out

-A small reminder, while it is more a courtesy to contact the other parties involved in a homicide call, it is one strongly suggested as there is a chance disputes can be worked out without interference, as well as giving the others involved time to formulate a rebuttal of sorts

Manaia nodded at Chameleon as he fled off towards the jet. His strength was his stealth. Exposed, he was completely open as a target and would do no good on the battlefield. It was likely time to start pulling out. She had no way of assisting the fight going above her head, nor did she have any true reason to fight anyone here on the ground. The children seemed to be quite strong. As much as she didn't want to admit it, they were doing infinitely more than what she could have done at their age.

She didn't fight the paper armor as it covered her body. It was strange... And also confusing. Her quirk was admirable, but that wasn't the confusing thing. Why did this girl give her protection, when she could have used it herself? Chameleon just made it clear to follow him back towards the jet, and yet she couldn't bring herself to leave just yet. There was work to be done. Words she needed to hold.

Taking a single step forward, she suddenly dashed off towards one of the mooks seemingly charging Lyra. Yes, she provoked them and killed a few of them... But never will it be known that Manaia was a liar. Instead of actually doing any true damage to them, she quickly swung out her leg to trip the soldier before her, grab him in mid-fall, and went to toss him back towards the rest of the men.

"If you think you can take out this child, you are mistaken." She let out a soft sigh. This was not the kind of conflict she had imagined getting drawn into. "I will not stop any of you again."

And with that, Manaia simply turned around to talk to Lyra. She seemed like a good girl, in spite of what was going on. This was her home, quite clearly. She was fighting to protect it. Maybe she was on the wrong side, but... Emotions and logic were conflicting in her head. "I must go. You seem more than capable of handling yourself. I'm going to grab the team I came with and extract out of here. This..." She pointed up above towards Mercutio and the strange lady. "This is beyond me. I came to hunt a criminal, not assist in someone's petty revenge or see children hurt... Don't hold back if your life is at risk. I do not blame you one bit."

And with that, she took off towards after Chameleon as fast as her feet could carry her. It was best to simply get out of there, in her mind. These children were clearly capable of combat, their teamwork seamless. No matter how strongly she felt against children fighting, she could not deny they were effective... She had alot to think about if she was able to make it out of here safely. Helping the kids would be traitorous to her side, but they were assisting and abiding a criminal force. All she could do was keep her eyes open, scanning for any of her teammates in danger as she ran. Tapu seemed to be having trouble with his arm missing, and the rest were somewhere she had no idea.

Her feet skidding across the ground as she came to a halt. With a sudden change in direction, she ran over towards Tapu, dodging around anybody that was in her path. All she wanted to do was get the hell out of here. Not to mention that he was the only person here she truly knew, even if a little bit. She would never leave a soldier to die if she could help it. He was the only man she knew who didn't just give in and accept Oni's rule when she moved on in. Manaia refused to leave him behind.

All of this was giving her a headache. Why the hell did she have to care so goddamn much?

It was quite boring underneath the island of Alana, an ironic juxtaposition considering the violent battle that raged on above him. Given how tired the literal energy drain had left him, the ghostly goose had actually managed to fall asleep for a few seconds. It wasn’t exactly too difficult, considering how well the water had muffled the horrors of war which partook above him. This snooze was short lived, however, as the literal shockwaves that rippled through the ocean was enough to interrupt his inopportune nap. Fearing the worst, the spent shaman would pop his up into the ground above, ignoring the man enveloped within the island’s crust.

The battle sure has changed since the last time he took a gander at it. Big Red was off fighting some of Little Blue, and an entire army had descended upon the Isle of Alana. More worrying, it seemed, was that the foot soldiers weren’t particularly well suited for the onslaught of war. It apparently didn’t take much for these trench-foots to falter, with many of them embracing death after one of two blows. However it seemed that death wasn’t swift enough for some, with the goose noticing enough of them suffering. For those his cohorts would be unable to fully eliminate, this floating physician would help them “pass on.”

While he wasn’t necessarily talking to anyone in particular, Leroy would still talk with enough authority in his southern drawl to ensure he was heard. It would be pertinent for his intentions to be clear, lest some red blooded yahoo decided they’d try and interrupt his work. Considering all he had to defend himself was a single blast blessed by Big Red himself, the southern fried goose whole heartedly hoped no one would force him into utilizing his “Destruction in a Can.”

”Hold on, I’m the doctor round these parts. Now I don’t reckon burnin’s too pleasant uh feelin’ tuh be dyin’ on, and neither’s gurglin’ down blood. Y’all fellers don’t mind me too much, just tryin’ tuh make sure yer pardners ain’t suffrin’ fer too long. If I can save ‘me, I’ll save ‘em. If not, krrrch. It’s more humane that way.”

Swimming through the ground like an elderly dolphin, the ethereal bird would begin to check upon those recently slain by his fellow Elysians. In an effort to placate the imposing army, he’d make it a point to find someone worth saving before going on his impending neck snapping spree.

Unfortunately, Leroy was hardly an actual doctor. He didn’t truly know the limits of the human body, nor could he properly gauge one’s likelihood for survival. He knew the extent to which his quirk could restore a person, but that’s about it. But considering the fact that the full extent of his ability was kaput for the time being, he wouldn’t exactly be too “particular” on those he’d deem beyond saving.

Anyone that had been downed, but obviously still possessing a chance for living, the kind doctor would give a few honks and wave his ethereal hand above them. Whatever wounds they shared would begin to close, and any minor bleeding would begin to clot away. They wouldn’t receive enough Kindness to regain consciousness, however, as the forgiving doctor wasn’t particularly willing to immediately revive a platoon of combatants. He was kind, but not stupid.

Anyone that was either questionably alive or narrowly clinging to life, the bumbling practitioner would insert a small, pink orb of pure Kindness into their forehead. Assuming they weren’t capable of staving off this bleak form of mercy, the glob of energy would begin to make its way through their cerebellum. Any fallen foe with sufficient enough brain matter would begin to feel an immense rush of pleasure, before their neck would violently snap towards the side. It was quite the eerie sight, as anyone who was spared the suffering of an agonizing death would die with a noticeable grin plastered upon their face.

As the target of their attack fell to the ground, Taylor didn't pay the bones flying off any mind. The leftover bones would bounce off of the tempered, rubber body of the fused siblings. Still next to the bleeding out body, Taylor turned their attention outwords. "I guess that was all he could do. Now, who is next?" Scanning the battlefield, Taylor would keep an eye out for any more incoming attacks. Their arms would deflate as no obvious threat was close to them. A quick glance over to Mercutio would be all the attention paid to the man before they realized some of the reinforcements were around.

We became the new form again. Echoed the voice of Rosa inside the mind of Taylor. This kind of power... It is something new. Except for the time in the Dark Continent, this is much more than our normal fusion. Can you handle it, sister? Negan's voice rang out inside the head of Taylor. In response to her older brother, Rosa's voice spoke out in their shared mind. Yes, I think. With my quirk able to take the shock of attacks, we can get so much stronger. Strong enough to be safe. The siblings were in a rush of adrenaline when they had last used their current form. Now they had a chance to let it sink in, they were not the same being they had become in the past. They were something, someone new. Someone with power.

Not wanting to put some of that power to waste, Fusion-Ha let off an explosion around them, trying to hit anyone still close and draw the attention of some of the reinforcements. They could handle whatever was thrown their way. Any of the WISH grunts that came closer to Taylor would get fist thrown at them. If it was more than two, Taylor would make a swipe, using their elastic body to get extra range on the attack. It was during this relativity calmer time the fused siblings noticed the woman running towards them. Taking a fighting stance their gave her their attention. She was fast. If they fought it might actually be a challenge. "Do you wanna go too?"

Eizen felt good to know that he had helped the tailed boy in front of him feel better. It brought a wide smile to his face... one that was quickly wiped away as the boy stood straight, standing over him. God, how he hated being short sometimes. Why couldn't that fabled thing known as a growth spurt just do its job and kick in already?! Regardless, Eizen would watch the boy claim that his work had done nothing to clear out the hell in the middle of the battle before introducing himself as Mairu. He would then introduce the tiny dragon with him as Artemis, the creature giving a small peeping noise as it was introduced. After that, the boy started running off back into the crowd, the dragon following after.

With nothing better to do, and deciding that being on his own in such a place would probably not end well for him in the long run, Eizen would reluctantly follow after Mairu and Artemis. He had wanted to avoid fighting in the center of this madness, but if those two were so willing to go back into the fray they had literally just gotten out of, then he could help too. Even at a full run, it took some time to reach them, as Mairu was ever-so slightly faster then Eizen. While Mairu had decided to hit a man in the chest with his tails, and Artemis did what she could against another, Eizen took a slightly different approach. A third mook was close enough to make Eizen nervous, and as a result, he wanted them gone.

Standing to the side of Mairu, Eizen would place his hands upon the ground and order it to remove the man from his presence. The ground beneath his hands would churn for only a moment before it began to rapidly extend into a one foot by one foot pillar of volcanic earth, aimed to barrel straight into the center of the mook's chest. The pillar would extend five feet before stopping and becoming another obstacle on the battlefield.

Chameleon

The stealthy Hero, who was no longer so invisible thanks to that very clingy and irritating rainbow goo all over him, dashed past the jet and whoever was present there. His goal hadn't been this point at all.

Instead, he sprinted to where the water lapped at the shore of this island that Vitality originally landed at. To his left, one of the colossal walls of lava that Abyssal created towered up above. However, at the point where the wall was supposed to meet the sea, some of it had crumbled away and there was a walk-way of sorts to make it into the central sectioned-off portion of the island.

'One that was not one of our operatives has probably done too much damage to the jet by now...' He thought, stepping forth into the waves on the island's shore and watching the rainbow goo substance start washing off him with every wave. The Vitality operative stepped deeper, and hurriedly washed the rest of the goo off him, the only trace of him having been there being the strange rainbow remnants that floated atop the water where he had been.

Invisible once more, he slipped through the water until he reached the desolation where Mercutio had been fighting Abyssal. The shoreline was wider here, and maybe they had a chance of their alternative method of escape being able to moor...

Tapping at a device on his wrist, he looked over at his office's boss with a concerned expression hidden behind his mask. Nevertheless, he sent out the signal of retrieval for their back-up to arrive. Nothing more than a small, inconspicuous boat that had been arranged as a potential get-away vehicle depending on how messy things became. This would be what he would use, and he would retrieve Abyssal along with whoever had decided to follow him.

It went against everything that Vitality fought for; fleeing like this. But Chameleon had self-preservation on the brain, and knew a lost battle when he was a part of one.

Mook Count

Starting number: twenty one.

One mook is successfully felled by the Lyra and Manaia combo (mostly Lyra). Twenty remain.

Three mooks engaged in battle by Mordred, successfully felled by either his spine armor or the sword strikes respectively. Seventeen remain.

One mook is engaged in combat with Mairu and Artemis. Mook is suitably baffled by tiny dragon and fox boy, falls down from the combo attacks of confusion. Doesn't perish, but will be down for a while. Sixteen remain.

Two mooks get in the path of the Taylors. They meet their end. Fourteen remain.

One mook engages in a fight with Eizen, is met with a pillar shoved into his chest. Successfully hit and downed. Thirteen remain.

Tsukiko's Battle

The comment of how she could have been allied with Mercutio in some alternate timeline or if he chose not to murder her brother in cold blood made the blue-haired woman laugh.

Yeah, right.

She focused on her blast of void energy sent right at her foe with the aim of removing his ability to fly. Seeing it have relative success before he was able to regain the usage of his power filled her with a little more confidence. Maybe this personal mission of hers wouldn't be suicide, after all. She had known from her first meeting with him that her quirk was potent against the Crimson Fucker, with the way in which void would consume all forms of other energy. Calling it void 'energy' was laughable, really; it was a complete and utter lack of energy, which was why she was even able to wield it against this man.

Her eyes remained fixed to her opponent, and she never let down her guard even for a second. Although her quirk was a perfect counter to his, she wasn't guaranteed victory in the slightest. True to form, he was quick to stop his freefall with a strange fluttering cloak of energy around his shoulders, and he started rushing her once again. This time, she spotted something in his hands.

As he rushed her with obvious intent to hit her with a physical attack, she had a very good inkling that he was aiming to ensnare her with whatever tape-like thing he held in his hands, too. Void-like portals on her hands swirled with power as she flung her arms out in front of her before Mercutio got within striking range, and she aimed to blast herself backwards and out of his reach. Mention of only training her quirk made the Hero Killer smirk as her body floated on the natural negative energy she produced, flipping over in midair and controlling her trajectory with those visible masses of void that were mutated into her body.

"I refuse to see him again until I do what must be done." She responded to Mercutio's quip, her whole body becoming coated in her deep purple void substance. Having narrowly evaded his strike on her, and being ensnared by whatever he was holding, she didn't want to hold back now.

From her body, she released a deep purple aura which rushed around her in all directions with rapid speed, staying on a level horizontal plane up in the air. At the extremes of this void wave, energy of reduced strength would start curving down as it fizzled out at the metaphorical edges. Whatever energy touched this void would disappear in an instant; sapped away with her power that could only ever destroy. What she used to despair over when she was but a mere child, when she was trying to be a Hero, was now her greatest strength.

"I think I actually... need help? I don't have Oars and her movements are to fast for Nala to be of useful here.." he thought to himself with stress mounting. "If I can't end this soon, I'll end instead... I refuse to die here' he said to himself, internally thinking.

Mercutio's advances were seeming to be a fruitless waste of his time and energy; nothing he did in the past mattered and in fact, it was her mental breakdown that allowed him the victory last time. If it wasn't for the death of her Brother, Mercutio would have been eaten alive by her bare hands. It was again that he would realize this, he was afraid to waste any of his energy using his quirk when nothing he did would make a scratch. Feelings of desperation set in along side doubt.

'She can't be stronger than Abyss, I'm running on fumes, damn it...' he thought, trying to find a bit of encouragement

Mercutio quickly began to realize that he was doing was what Abyssal had done to him and he too was losing the edge he knew he had on her now physically because of it. It was his arrogance, the very reason for two of the three losses he had received in simulation, that was causing him deja vu. It was that cloth that was blinding him and bounding his site he knew he had. It was the frustration of knowing he had the capabilities and not respecting that of another capabilities that was pushing him down and out. It was this blinding arrogance that if he did not lose, would take his life.

When he was matched against Abyssal he was full arsenal and still held cautious and reserve with his actions and movements. Coming in after defeating her, Mercutio realized he played himself to be an ass and that's why he found himself now on the receiving end of another vicious attack. Mercutio acknowledged his need for help and he accepted that fact as best he could, but Sonomi would be the only one who'd be of any use at all and she was a good ways away surrounded by walls. As frantic panic set in, Star Lord's presence filled him with a bit of hope and comfort. It was like a breathe of fresh air filled his lungs and cleared the fog from his mind.

"Even I make mistakes, move on" he muttered to himself.

With a bit of new found clarity, Merc had mere moments to make a critical adjustment with Tsukiko's speed being what it was comparatively to their last encounter. She also was going beyond what was right in front of her and employing methods to move about that he'd previously used on her. Witnessing your own moves stolen from you might sour a fair bunch of people, but Mercutio was more than flattered. It was watching her evade him that he realized something. Merc focused up as best as he could and met Tsukiko's gaze and actually began to analyze her.

A realization that no self-ran simulation could have taught him, she wasn't conjuring anything... she was releasing condensed space which lacked energy. 'She is manipulating the area.' he thought, 'She is a conduit!" that was why she could expel energy herself, she was filling that void... 'Void Energy...'

'I-I see it.. I.. I SEE IT! Dōsatsugan: SHADOW REALM!" he muttered before falling into a scream out of excitement. Mercutio braced his feet hard into, well whatever footing was below him in air as he mimicked each move to an obsessive pin-point. Without a moment left, he released a curdled, blood-red energy that held no glow internally, in fact it wasn't see through as Mercutio's Soul resonated normally. Light couldn't pass through it, nothing would radiate. The shade was dull and hollow and the static that charged the air crackled erratically as Mercutio pushed his limit and attempted to control energy in a way that wasn't energy at all. With what knowledge he held and a body full of pride and indomitable will, Mercutio created an absence of energy within the area in front of him to meet her force with that of his own lack there of.

Debts? What the fuck is this prick talking about? Ezra hated everything about this situation. The fact that Mercutio already had Star-Lord in his pocket was rather irksome. The fact that the #1 hero lost to a rogue hero was even more irksome, in fact, it was damn near unbelievable. It happened nonetheless, and now he had to rally everyone together and get them off this island. He had no idea how the battlefield was on the other side of these walls, but he had to make hasty actions if he was going to help these people.

Asking the man to tell Mercutio to stand down, he was met with snarky comebacks, by not only him but the other two as well. "The fuck are you two speaking up for? My conversation is with him, stay the fuck out of it!" With how his emotions were currently, it was easy for him to lose his shit at just about anyone at this point. Trying to remain calm, he hadn't moved just yet, his focus had been on Star-Lord. The bastard was just standing there, gloating to Huntress about how they were beaten.

His excuse for all of this was rather nauseating. Using the excuse of WISH being corrupted or coming for him didn't really matter to Ezra. He didn't believe it, nor did he cared. Fearing the worse case scenario, he decided to hurry over to help the others. They needed to get off this fucking island, and he had to act quick. The window they had was limited and they couldn't risk something happening tot he new recruits. They came of their own choice and they couldn't risk them being killed, not after what happened to the other two.

"Yeah, whatever."

Invasion

Making his way through the hole that was created when Abyssal flew through, his sensors pick up someone else. "Chameleon, is that you? If so, Abyssal and Huntress are down. I'ma go and gather the others, we need to get the hell out of here, while we can." Giving the other hero time to respond back, once he did, if he did... Either way, Ezra would scale the next wall, he needed leverage to be able to see the battlefield.

All of it was a mess, everyone was scattered about, there were multiple signatures and it was difficult to get an idea as to where everyone was located. He saw one, she was in the middle of fighting someone else. Another one of their men was out, and one look to have been in the middle of a smoke field. Given what he remembered of the quirk, that had to be him, so he wasn't sure if the boy was in danger or holding his on. There were two left that was uncalled for, it was possible they were in the smoke screen, but Ezra wasn't even sure at this point.

"Fuck sakes! Need to go on the plane." He spoke before running along the top of the wall towards the plane exit. Launching through the air, he had to weave through a shit ton of debris and hopefully avoid people that were in his way. Approaching the exit of the plane, eyes set on the smoke screen as he was more than positive that one of their own was in the middle of a battle. Hoping the plane didn't suffer, he moved his way closer in an attempt to use some intimidation.

"Get the fuck out of our plane!" Arms grew in size at that very moment, as a finger pointed the direction of the jet. "That is a warning, get out now, Vitality is leaving. Puff... whatever, where is everyone else? Shit, princess here as well? Good, keep hi...her steady."

Mind you he was rather rushing at the moment, but they didn't have a lot of time. His hope was to scare off Merc's fodder and they can be able to gather everyone else. Time was fleeting, Mercutio was distracted, and Ezra was too pissed to keep a level head, not when shit was getting bleaker as time went on.

In hindsight, Vivi was being far too brash with her actions. Her mind was clouded with desperation and a slew of other emotions. She couldn't call for back up, not anymore, her chances of living through the day had already gone down with the defeat of Abyssal. The destruction of what she thought to be the only way for her to call to help drove it down even further for her. So it was understandable that in her moment of emotional weakness she lashed out at her nearest and most righteous target.

Then a blast of something buffeted her side and robbed of her momentum. Her Mage Armor shattered under the attack and knocked her aside before she could even get in close to gouge out the boy's eyes or strike him between the legs. Her outfit was worse off than she was, sporting cuts that she was sure wasn't there before. She sure hopes it gets fixed whenever she transformed back. She jumped backed when she landed, seeing what the boy he had wanted to attack had in store for her. The blast of wind managed to save her from whatever the boy had in store by stopping her, allowing for more distance and time to react. She was going to have to be a bit more careful now, since the only thing that gave her the slightest bit of extra durability had already broken like sugar glass

Just as she was about to go again, this time she would try feinting to the side, Ezra had appeared. He yelled out for a bit and said a few words, she managed to process 'Vitality is leaving' and began to calm down. She looked at him, the boy who had destroyed the communications panel, and the new combatants from both sides joining this skirmish before letting out a sigh of relief.

She turned heel and went back to the jet. They were leaving after all.
