'As you wish...' Mercutio thought with a soft sigh. Tapu was headed in and Mercutio as well knew a massive group of incoming reinforcements were quickly approaching though due to the way Tsukiko was, Mercutio didn't realize it was her or maybe it was that he was too focused on making an example out of Tapu. Taking time and waiting for the best moment, Mercutio grasped the incoming strike with his bare right hand and spun a bit from the inertia he carried. Surprised, Meructio smiled and whipped his arm to fling Tapu up and whipped him down. With the downward whipping, at the end of the arch, Mercutio let loose a point blank blast from his hand to engulf Tapu in a a crimson glow that differed from the natural aura. It would impact him at his core, 'Crimson Impact Soul Rejecti-...Tsukiko..' he thought, letting loose a vicious blast before walking in air away from the boy he so easily and carelessly rag-dolled. Words began to write in the air as he made his way to her. Crimson Instinct would fade away, his eyes widening as thoughts of Anastasia drifted into his memory. "Look what you've become... I'm sorry for what I've done to you, but I never thought you'd end up like this." he said as he watched Alana fighting for a moment below. "Guess the World got to you too, but I must say before this happens I am not the man I was before. I literally had a condition, but my face is the source of your resentment." he explain, "I am impressed that you are able to use the abilities I once did, I see your quirk takes in energy and can put it back out." he analyzed. 'But... I know you know am already the Crimson pirate King, but you need to know before we fight." he said, "You all need to know!" he announced near screaming for everyone to hear. "I will become, no I am the World's Symbol of Peace! Not the one they want, but I am the one they deserve... Balance will be, maintained." he preached before looking her in the face. "People constantly lack what it takes and let mortal materials stray them from their path. My vice here, my dream and goal is to be powerful and my purpose is to use that power to keep the truest peace the World will know." he explained as he casted a waved of crimson in front of him to conceal himself from her gaze. Mercutio got softer again after asserting himself confidently as the World Symbol of Peace, a symbol they surely didn't want. "So, let's cut to the chase... shall we? Will we be ignoring those below, hmm?" he asked when he knew the answer full well. "You are on borrowed time with your only saving grace being my Quirk not working on you... I am no longer the man who needs to hide behind his gun and range." he proclaimed with a tug at his cloak to reveal his body unscathed and brushed the hair out of his eyes to show the scar she once gave him gone. "I've lived nearly 1000 years and I've fought you over 367 times in my head. I ran multiple variables, but in the end... you only won 7 times." he went on, "But, I would expect nothing less from a King." Summary, Techs, LP

With the way things were going, it seemed like this battle was approaching its end, but just as Mercutio finished his speech WISH reinforcements appeared. A blue-haired girl accompanied by a dozen of followers showed themselves. As she landed on the ground, a wave of purple emitted from her body. She had an intense aura, one that Demetri could faintly sense even with being on top of Nala, however, he was too preoccupied with his dismay regarding Mercutio to give her his complete focus. The more the teen thought about Mercutio’s words, the more enraged he became. Causing him to subconsciously began to emit a terrorizing pheromone, one that reflected his deep seeded revenge and hatred. The pheromone would cause the ducks under his command to stop patrolling and begin snarling at each other in response. The stranger duck, who appeared out of nowhere to assist the group in defending the island, had made their way on top of Nala’s back, bringing along several more ducks. The combination of the two fighting ducks and Demetri’s aggressive pheromones would cause the collection of quaklings to begin fighting and quaking amongst themselves. Shirou was able to ignore the immediate effects of Demetri’s quirk. They landed a few feet next to the blonde, close enough to most likely get a face full of the golden pheromones. Demetri turned his head to see them lying on the ground, attempting to recover from the battle. “Tsk.” Noticing the army of mooks storming the battlefield down below, Demetri realized needed something to take his anger out on. “GOD DAMN IT!!” Continuing to release his enraged pheromones, Demetri would recklessly command Nala to lift her front legs high into the air and slam them down into the largest body of mooks. There was no more appealing site to a carrion, than a corpse waiting to be stripped of its flesh. Arawn, the shadowy crow that barreled towards Chameleon, saw such a sight in the sorry excuse for a Hero. The fool just sat there, sighing and groaning, blaming his allies for his own ineptitude. Despite his complaints, it would be those some heroes for hire that saved his life ultimately, with the laser attack striking the bird's wing as it flew forward, causing a pained cry as the damaged shadowy mass was thrown off course, its damage not fatal, but still effective. It had ended up a debilitating strike, and one that had the taste of blood fresh in the carrion's beak. The shadowy monster's mass reformed around where it had been blasted, and although the beast was in pain and shock, it seemed more bloodthirsty than ever, flapping its now misshapen wings from past Chameleon as it angrily cawed. Fortunately, although the monster was seething with rage and fury, its owner managed to keep such feelings suppressed, channeled into Arawn, as William called out to his wounded friend. "Arawn, return!" William commanded, and no sooner did the shadowy monster heed his command, flapping up into the air and clumsily flying back to him with its wound, perching itself once again on the old Warden's shoulder. He wasn't about to risk his dearest friend any further, by pitting him against his very weakness. Their goal was achieved nonetheless. The bright owl who'd harmed Arawn seemed to at least admit she was in the wrong. Mortimer Greenweaver showed them how truly weak his spirit was. The smoke-wielding man and the hobo had fled, seemingly in the interest of self-preservation. And the only one of them who had the guts to follow his own beliefs to the bitter end would do just that. Chameleon remained a useless coward. Abyssal was defeated. And if Huntress and Ezra remained standing, there was little they could do even if they did defeat Mercutio's followers. The war was won. The arrival of some straggler meant nothing to the old Warden. Positioning himself once again at the back lines, Crawford took refuge in the shadows he thrived in, remaining on guard for now, in spite of Tsukiko's sudden appearance. The mooks she'd brought with her were equally as irrelevant, given that not a single Elysian seemed so much as scratched. Speeches were given, of course, the usual preaching that the veteran had grown tired of. Perhaps he was becoming more bitter with age. No matter. For now, William would wait in the wings, until his presence would do more than get in the way or have Arawn harmed by the bright lights, until there were more lambs to the slaughter. As Tapu flew through the air, his mind threatened to retreat and leave the instinct driven monster like before, as it sent flashes of his life through his mind even as his body was single mindedly focused on destruction. He could feel himself drowning in the sensations, but was able to hold on enough to keep his mind in the situation with a level of clarity. Even so, that didn't mean things were going to go his way, as he got closer and things started to happen against him like he had half expected. The duck from before shot up to reach their height, and once in range let off another impressive shockwave. The wave itself didn't deter him much, nor did it alter his path but the sound was enough to hurt his ears and cause him to lose focus as he swung his blade at Mercutio, which was a very bad thing. The bird was also sent backwards, presumably to prevent any attack after it's own, but they weren't Tapu's target anyway. His blade still went straight for his target, aimed for Mercutio's midsection but unfortunately things didn't end as well as he would have hoped. The man simply stretched out his hand and caught the blade, taking the momentum with little actual effect. Scared, Tapu let go of the blade before it was whipped up and down, saving him from the effects but not from what followed. The crimson energy rushed out and engulfed him, striking through his body as if aimed for his actual soul. The arm that was in front due to his attack still hadn't been withdrawn, and it took more punishment than the already substantial amount the rest of his body took. He was sent flying towards the ground much faster than he had gone up, slamming into the sand and stone and kicking up a large cloud of particulates. Laying there and feeling through the pain he was acutely aware of one body part that wasn't radiating his pain, as his right arm was now missing, sheared off just under the shoulder. Even so he made his way to his feet, grabbing up the other blade which had fallen with him, attempting to reconstruct what parts of his body had been shattered, but unable to much for his arm without a lot more time. Looking up he could see that Mercutio had either forgotten him or thought he wasn't worth following, as he focused on a woman he hadn't seen on the battlefield before, apparently being some kind of reinforcement. There were a lot of others on the ground as well now, but they were far less impressive. Tapu wondered if they were what Vivi had gone for, but he was unable to see her to confirm anything. Not ready to leave the fight just yet he pushed himself to stand straight again, pulling his remaining arm back and throwing the blade, aiming to either distract Mercutio or give the woman a weapon if wanted, realising that he was outmatched, especially in the air. Instead he set his eyes on the woman that Mercutio had been looking at, the one who had incited and lead the children to fight. While not as big of a threat as the Crimson Fucker, she was just as instrumental in taking away the freedom of the children there in his eyes, making her just as evil. And so he focused on removing her before his time ran out, knowing that the exertion of his body into this form would be incredibly draining. Releasing all his strength he kicked off towards her, crossing the distance in the blink of an eye. As he got close he pulled back his arm, forming a fist that he then tried to ram straight into her stomach, pushing forward with all his strength. If he was lucky that one blow would put her down, but he wouldn't be satisfied with just making her unable to fight, and so whether it did hit or was blocked he followed it up with a flurry of punches from his one arm and kicks that, while not as powerful or accurate as the first, would hopefully barrage her with blow after blow until her life was gone. "You people think you're gods or some shit, but you can't play with people's lives!" He continued to let out his anger by roaring and yelling the entire time, like some kind of maddened demon. As Mort slowly fought his instinct to pass out from breathing so quickly, he'd feel someone touch him. For a split second his quirk would react on instinct, with many illusionary blades surrounding the both of them out of fear, but as there was no clear intent to harm the blades would slowly fade as he turned to face who touched him. A small girl clearly from the other side, offering him a hug. Getting his breathing under control a little bit, he'd hesitate before giving a small nod to indicate she could hug him, giving a small left-arm hug as well. While he couldn't feel the girl though his cybernetic, he didn't need to as he felt the sand soften, her quirk clearly giving her some power over the earth like Mikhail did, but unlike the student looked like what she manipulated. But what bothered him was why. Why was she doing this? In a tired and shaky voice he'd ask. "W-why? Why are you showing me kindness when we were the one who attacked? When I could have easily been trying to trick you so I could get in a free hit? you put yourself in danger when you had every right to end me. I don't get it." More questions. More pain. Before that question could be answered though, he'd hear a loud thud and turned to face whatever the noise was, as it was fairly close. Apparently WISH had sent backup, but it didn't mean much to Mort now. They had already lost the fight, even as the newcomer and Mercutio spoke to each other. Apparently they knew each other and their last meting didn't end well. It didn't help that a good 20 people were clearly dead from falling, becoming statistics instead of dying a proper death. As he listened to the Merc, Mort was aghast to hear the man above claim to be the new Lucy. 'How..how can he claim to be the world's symbol of peace? No, that spot would not be taken from Lucy yet. She may be missing and assumed dead, but she would hold that spot in his mind as the true symbol, no matter what.' He'd think to himself. The would would never accept him, and neither would Mort. As the mooks that survived would come closer, he'd realize that they weren't there to help him, but there to attack this rocky gal. Mort would force himself up, shaking as he was still recovering from his ideals of heroics being shattered. He would hold his cybernetic hand out as a miasma of illusions formed before disappearing, revealing a dome of solid air around them."Well if...if I can't be a hero, I can at the very least...try to repay you for your kindness when we are at fault. I may think Mer...mer...Mercutio may be full of scheisse, but it's clear he has good intentions. I won't go back on my word, and I will keep my grandfather dream alive, just a little longer." He wanted so swear, to look brave, but with a child in his presence and with his body fighting him, he could do neither as he best his quirk could muster was the dome. The wreck that was Mort wouldn't let someone who showed him kindness when he deserved none get hurt. Summary/Techs&LP

With an innocent smile, Hiko wrapped her arms around the panicking boy. She was a bit surprised with his compliance as he wrapped an arm around her as well, normally this was the point where she got punched, or attacked. Looking to her side, she saw the reinforcements arrive, she couldn’t linger for long. Her body was rigid and had the faint feeing of marble, her hair, upon closer inspection was more statuesque than a weave of fibers. As she hugged she gripped tighter, making sure she had a solid grip on Mort. The ground beneath them would continue to soften, quickly becoming more of a liquid than a solid footing. Softly she rested her cheek on his chest, her ear listening to his heart as he calmed down. Suddenly the ground beneath the two of them would give out, both of them plunging into the sand beneath them. Together they sank like in a free-fall, the surrounding liquid sand quickly shifting from sand to the usually hard volcanic substance. At one time, Hiko had struggled to manipulate Satoshi’s volcanic stone, but after months of training she could now swim through it as easily as her own stone body. Just as quick as they fell, the firm touch of Hiko would seem to disappear, replaced by the rigid sensation of the ground rapidly solidifying around him as he was buried several meters underground, slowly sinking further and further down. Faintly in his ear, the stone would faintly hum, supplying her answer to his question. “I offer you this kindness, because the world is a scary scary place, strength is required to survive this world. There is no need for you to suffer this pain anymore… You’re pretty lucky you ran into me, I’m the nice one.” High above them, the ground would shake, the seismic tremor’s of Nala’s stomp would travel underground, shaking both of them, though Hiko’s liquid stone body would simply let the vibrations pass through her. It seemed that after attacking Rainer the smokey boy started to retreat, no doubt overwhelmed by the phenomenal power that the Taylor siblings possessed when they were together. That was fine, Taylor had no intention of killing the boy so if he wanted to run then he could run. That only meant the fused being could turn their attention to more pressing matters. Intoxicated by the power that was currently at their disposal, Taylor was very confident that they could dispatch any of their enemies right here but before they could test that theory Mercutio made his entrance. Apparently their crimson leader has managed to defeat Abyssal all on his own and in such little time no less. He truly was something else. With Abyssal gone it looked like things were vastly going in their favor. If she was down for the count there didn't seem to be anybody else powerful enough to even think of opposing them. Hopefully that meant that this could all be over soon. Negan and Rosa hated having to live in paranoia, scared that an army could show up on their doorstep at any time to take their heads. It was a stressful thing to have looming over someone but if they were lucky maybe WISH would learn to just leave them alone so that they could live in peace. Unfortunately it seemed that another threat to Elysium had just arrived. Taylor watched as multiple figures dropped from a plane, none of them wearing parachutes. The fused being wasn't entirely sure why they did that considering how dangerous something like that was. A lot of the figures ended up dying as well, splattering onto the ground of Elysium which only left Taylor even more confused. These new arrivals had only just got here and almost half of them had nearly been wiped out by their own stupidity. Was this really what WISH was sending at them? As it turned out not all of the new arrivals seemed to be idiots as Tsukiko made themselves known, challenging Merc and no doubt preparing to fight him. For whatever reason they seemed to have some sort of vendetta against the man but that wasn't even a rarity at this point. Mercutio had done a lot of bad things in his life and the people affected by those actions would surely hold a grudge. At the same time as this, Taylor saw Tapu move towards Mercutio with the intent on hurting him. Normally Negan and Rosa wouldn't even bat at an eye at an attack like that connecting properly but seeing as how the Crimson Fucker had just been in a fight with the world's number one hero, Taylor wasn't quite sure just how damaged the man was. This prompted them to take action and run at Tapu, intent on stopping the man in his tracks. However it appeared that their efforts weren't even needed as Mercutio was on the ball, slamming the guy into the ground and blasting him with crimson energy. Taylor figured that the blast had been enough to take down the bone man for good but aside from losing his arm, Tapu was able to get up after a while. This guy really could take a hit. Tapu didn't really waste any time as the moment he could properly move he began charging in the direction of Alana. Due to being so close after running to defend Mercutio, this meant that it was Taylor's job to defend the fiery matriarch. As Tapu began to rush towards her, Taylor ran to intercept them. While they did this, Taylor saw Nala raising their giant foot, no doubt preparing to stomp on something. Knowing full well just how powerful the beast was, Taylor jumped into the air to preemptively avoid whatever seismic attack that Nala might create. As they flew towards Tapu in the air, the stomp went off and stunned everyone on the ground which gave Taylor the perfect opportunity to strike. Holding their palms out in front of them, the fused being launched an incredibly large explosion at the bone man. The blast was primarily aimed for Tapu but Taylor hoped it could also take out some of the mooks in the process. After firing the explosion, Taylor continued on towards Tapu as they brought their hands down to crush the man into the ground for an extraordinarily powerful follow up attack. Taylor would land and admire their handiwork. They were confident that their efforts had been more than enough to stop Tapu once and for all. After all, the man had already accumulated a ton of damage and the attacks that Taylor had just thrown at him were nothing to scoff at either. "We're not gods.." Taylor said, referring to Tapu's earlier statement. "We're just better than you." Summary and Lp Stats Buff techniques being upkept Offensive Tech Ep in effect |

Derge watched as the girl used the console to bring the communications online. She knew how to use it, at least part of it and that was more than Derge was able to at the current moment. He watched, observing and learning at least some of the controls. Looking over the panel, he actions at the very least eliminate some of the possibilities. Derge was once again lost in the sheer amount of possibilities with the controls all sitting in front of him. He let out an exhausted sigh...Mayday? She was trying to call for help, for more people to come to the island and try to kill him and the others. Derge had watched exactly what she had done to get the radio going. "Why did you have to do that? I just wanted to leave the island and now I can't. I can't let you bring more destruction here. They just want to be left alone. You realize you're not heroes? Not here. You and your group are nothing but an invading force, glorified terrorists." he said looking back to the panel. She was so defenseless. Walking up and leaning over him like that only spelled disaster. She made her self an easy target for the boy. With one quick move, Derge could attack her and he doubted she would be able to react little lone defend against it. Why did she have to make it so easy? His foe, no the foe of the entire island was there an easy target, ripe for the picking. The teen was confused and the emotions he had been bottling up starting to come out under the pressure of the situation. He was under an immense amount of pressure, not from any outside force but from his own mental anguish. Anguish from what he wanted to do and what he knew he should and what he had to do now. Derge couldn't allow her to plug the communicator headset back into the panel. Derge had killed someone before, it wasn't something he liked to do. In fact, Derge, since the battle with Mercutio had been having nightmares about it. Instead of Derge killing Silas it was often Mercutio killing Derge in the same way. A flash of light lit up the cabin. Smoke wafted from Derge's finger as more of it billowed from the specific portion of the panel where the communicator was. A laser beam had been fired from Derge's finger into the controls of the jet, specifically targeting the communication devices. "I can't kill you. No...I won't kill you. I won't do that again, at least not now. Still, I have people I have to protect." he said turning to the woman. Derge had tears in his eyes, but a smile was spread across his face. It was clear he had been crying over the potential loss of the jet and the choice he had to make. Derge picked himself out of the piolets seat, walking past the girl. He continued towards the back of the plane. This time it was him that was being the easy target. His back was turned, and he had no defensive techniques activated. There would be little he could do against her. He closed his eyes as he walked towards the door of the jet, listening for footsteps. Summary

Queen Harmonia, First of Her Name, Ruler of the Realm

A field of battle with this much chaos and constantly shifting tides was where someone like Alana found her home. Or at least, that would be what she’d brag about and claim at the drop of a hat. When things didn’t make sense, when all semblance of order had failed, she would step up to the podium and have her moment to shine. Before, she had somehow scrabbled some order from seemingly nowhere in the ranks of the orphaned children who were here to fight and defend Elysium. But now, with the heavy hitters of their home guard stepping up to the plate, she was taking more and more of a back-seat. Her lover’s arrival to the scene filled her with relief, and only proved to flabbergast her even more than thought possible. “He just proves to get stronger and stronger…” She muttered to herself in disbelief, watching Mercutio at his position in the sky with his crimson energy surrounding him and flooding the battlefield. With a notable pause, she looked down to her empty hand, where a small wisp of her rainbow fire started to flicker into life. ‘Meanwhile, I only seem to get weaker and weaker…’ She internalised this thought as her face set into a grave line, open palm scrunching tight into a clenched fist as she gripped at her staff tighter than before at her side. As to be expected of WISH and their method of overkill to get a job done, there seemed to be some reinforcements dropping to greet them. Funnily enough, easily the strongest one among the group with all of their flowing purple energy, had a connection with Mercutio; enough to get him to stop in mid-fight with that bone guy. Wait, the bone dude wasn’t dead yet? And after he had taken a direct hit from her fire blast, with the following onslaught from their ranks…? The plucky duck, Shirou, flapped up and quacked with resounding force and sound right at the bone guy, plus Mercutio’s dispatch of him… he should be done after that. The fire-wielding Loli turned her attention directly to her sides, to check that those around her were safe. Leroy was still recovering from his quirk usage before, so she made sure to defend him if he needed the help. And to her right, she clocked the presence of Eizen and a few other orphans. It was nice to be able to account for all those she had seen at the start; it filled her with hope. Alana’s target from before up in the air had been a no-go, but she wasn’t too concerned. He had fallen and seemed to be retreating, before she lost sight of him in all of the hectic hysteria of their battlefield. Adding to this, the gigantic monster that was fighting for them in some fashion thanks to Demetri’s quirk lifted up a gigantic leg atop some of those who had fallen from the WISH jet before. The mage’s eyes went wide as she sunk down into her knees a little, anticipating what was to come and preparing for the massive fallout of a hit that the creature would deliver. Although not in their ranks at all, the aftermath would be jarring to say the least. Her eyes, back to their piercing icy blue hue now that she wasn’t actively using her quirk, caught sight of swift movement coming right for her. In that movement, everything seemed to slow down. Somehow, the man from before who had taken her attack and a huge amount of punishment from other people besides, was charging right for her. And he was fast. When the tarrasque’s foot impacted with the ground, her whole body shuddered as she took a knee, raising up her wizard’s staff with the special weave of her robes beginning to glow with rainbow light. No… she wasn’t sure if she would be able to activate the effect in time…! She was running out of room, and he was almost right upon her- A blur of a form leapt between her and the oncoming threat, and the sight made all breath catch in her throat. The combined form of the Taylors, something she had seen only once before, had effectively saved her. Alana immediately stopped the activation of her robe’s in-built effect of a melee over-shield of sorts, and all colour flooded from her face within a split second. The explosion seemed to echo in her head as she watched the white-haired humanoid fight back to push the threat away. Instinctively, she raised her staff-wielding arm and covered herself from the blow-back of the explosive ability, and allowed herself to skid back across the sand. One way to describe her expression and general rigidity in her body would be shell-shock; almost a picture-perfect definition of it. ‘Children…’ She thought in disbelief as she pushed her staff down into the ground, using it as a means to get back to her feet. ‘The children I was supposed to be protecting… they’ve protected me…’ Numbness filled her body as this realisation sunk in, and she closed her eyes for a brief moment. Her hair changed from root to tip from its platinum colour to that of deep, moody blue; almost black like a night’s sky. And when she opened her eyes, they reflected the exact same shade, making her appear as if her pupils all but vanished into those pits of utter disbelief, shame and inadequacy. She could almost live with her own boyfriend having god-like power and strength. But having to be rescued by kids… She all but deserved to have been killed in that attack. "We're just better than you." Those words echoed in her mind with great reverberation as she lifted her staff, storming towards the nearest group of new arrivals to the island; those that came with that purple-energy woman floating above the battlefield. From the base of her staff, rainbow fire scorched across the sands and burnt a path of glass beneath it before the tendrils started to form that of a circle around the group she targeted. There were perhaps no more than three or four, and they were a tight squeeze inside the binding circle she was creating at their feet. Flames leapt and sizzled whenever any of them tried to move. “Burn…” The sorceress muttered, hair and eyes remaining pitch black in colour in spite of her quirk being fully activated. With her free hand, she started to form a fist slowly. The circle on the ground trapping those people began to shrink. And it would continue to shrink, assuming that they didn’t manage to escape her clutches. Strength of the fire would leave bad burns, and if they remained penned in like that with the circle growing smaller and smaller… they would soon be alight like human torches. It seemed like the boy's howling had had a minimal effect on his targets, the boy giving a huff as came to a pause in his running to catch his breath, struggling to halt his speed as he gave Tapu a wide birth. Still on all fours, the tyke was fairly winded, the effort of howling as loud as he could, while running at top speed left him a bit tuckered out, but he was ready to give it another go! Shaking his head to focus, the boy tried to find a new target as he spoke over his shoulder to the dragon girl, stating, "Sorry if that wasn't close enough! I'll try harder this time!" Warning given, the boy turned his attention back to the battlefield, almost instantly closing his eyes in fright as a group of soldiers from seemingly nowhere landed on the beachfront with a rather... unfortunate impact. The number of dead abruptly rose, and through no fault of Elysium's side it seemed, as a new general entered the arena, calling Mercutio out for things done in the past. How much of anything was true anymore, the fox boy couldn't tell anymore, nor could he really focus on things like that the moment. A whole bunch of guys aiming to hurt him and his friends had just popped out of nowhere and needed to be dealt with! "I'm gonna run through, 'em, get ready!" The boy called back to his passenger, sucking in a breath before running forward at full speed once more, face down and skull ready to be used as a battering ram, aiming to headbutt a few of the mooks onto the ground while dropping his tails so Artemis had free shots to do as she saw fit. It was a new way of fighting, the boy wondering how effective he'd even be in his attack, but he wanted to help in any way he could! he just hoped he wasn't hurting too hard... As Mairu got to the other side of the mooks, head undoubtedly feeling a bit tender, a hefty stomp from their somewhat tall ally shook the ground, throwing the already off-balance boy for a loop. Tripping on his hand, the child's right palm slipped and his face met the dirt, Mairu's legs flying into the air as his spin curved back and he skidded some ways. Coming to a halt, the boy coughed twice, it taking a moment for the pain to register. A good ways from the fighting now, a few instinctual tears formed in the boys eyes, wiping sand from his chin as he turned over slowly, being mindful of his passenger. "A-are you o-okay?" The boy asked Artemis, a stinging pain in his chin as it dripped some blood, the wound small but the boy 9. He did try to at least seem tough though, holding back a full on tear fest as he got to his feet on wobbly legs and surveyed the fighting as forces of both titanic and personal natures clashed. This wasn't as fun as the stuff he saw on TV... Summary LP, Tech and Stats Items

"Agh...!" Rainer stumbled on the sandy shores as he got nearer to the jet, tripping over and nearly falling. Smoke sprouted out from his right arm and it morphed into smoke once again, extending out and pushing himself back up for balance. A searing pain shot up his shoulder, but only for a brief moment, as his right arm instantly felt much better. In this state, where his muscles and tendons were comprised solely of a mass of smoke, he couldn't feel the pain of them being badly injured. With some functionality restored in his arm, and a bit of pain relieved to ease his stress, the bounty hunter moved quicker over to the jet. He ruffled through his coat pocket for a cigarette, cursing as he remembered they were in his inner coat pockets. But as he was about to reach for them, something caught his eyes from up above. Woosh. A gust of wind caused his coattails to flutter, the result of some aircraft shooting by. Before he even knew it, a large group of people had leapt from the moving vehicle. Their thuds against the sand caused Rainer to stop and turn around, looking at them from behind as they got up and began moving. One person in particular caught his eye, floating up and directing their speaking to Mercutio. The fact that they would so brazenly spoke to him was either a representation of their strength - or their foolishness. Further down he could see some of his allies fighting on, Rainer looking in particular for that fused bastard who struck him. He was worried for whoever had to deal with him, but he couldn't even see the guy through all the chaos. "Fuck," he cursed under his breath, a pulsing pain bringing him back to the situation. He spun back towards the jet, moving quicker to it as he closed the distance. "All I can even do now is throw a few more fuckin' smoke blasts. Gahh, I feel so damn...." Rainer already knew that there were some serious gaps in strength between him and the other people there, but coming face to face with one such person was far more different than simply thinking about it. After getting hit so hard and easily by that guy, his only objective was to find a way out. He served no other purpose staying in, other than just dying. But when the reinforcements arrived, he couldn't help but see a small sliver of hope. As he moved towards the jet this time, he had another objective aside from just trying to save himself. A loud impact came from behind, shaking the ground and causing Rainer to fall once more to one knee. Thankfully he was a good distance from it, glancing back to the see the giant monster and the aftermath of its attack. Don't think about that, Rainer told himself as he looked back forwards, finally entering the jet. Shouts, explosions and yells flooded his ears and made it hard to hear anything, but Rainer strained his mind and moved into the jet. But right as he walked through the entrance, he would see someone else walking in his direction, someone unfamiliar. An enemy? He hadn't seen this person on the flight here, and there was no way someone from the group that just arrived moved past him and into the jet without him noticing. That only left one explanation; an enemy. "Fuck are you?" he shouted sternly. Rainer raised his smoky right arm, pointed at the boy, a dense cluster of smoke swirling around and forming a coil around it. Just moments ago, he would have fought this person out of fear, out of fear that they would try and prevent his only form of escape, fear that they would kill him. But now he wanted to fight them out of duty, a duty to make sure that this boy wouldn't prevent him and his allies' only wait out of here. Of course, if their side completely defeated every opponent and came out on top, there would be no need for an immediate escape, but things didn't always go so well in life. Summary LP

Despite her mad dash to make it to the cosmic owl, the masked woman wound up still having too large of a distance to cross. Heck, even as the woman transformed back into a human, Lyra was still far too slow to encumber the woman underneath the weight of her paper. Her own failure caused Crawford's own attack to wind up in shambles, that shadowy mass being countered by the energy lasers she owned. Another failure, another chance to show off her own growth dashed by the insane strength of another. Though, in just a few moments afterward, the appearance of someone Lyra hadn't expected for at least another couple of minutes appeared before them all. Crimsoul himself was there to save the day, immediately talking down the owl woman and start monolguing. God dangit, he always has to do that. While he was yipping his yapper, Lyra spied one of the orphans approach a very defeated young man who was accepting a hug from her. Cocking an eye, she was trying to figure out what the hell happened that would lead to this. Scanning over the field, it seemed that everything was in shambles for the enemy team, which was good for team Elysium. Though anti-climatic, the young masked woman was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Keeping up her guard in case others were going to act, it seemed that the bone douche decided to get off of his bum and... Oooooh this is gonna be good. Watching with intensity, the young woman watched as Mercutio quite literally obliterated the bone man. Clapping a couple times in watching King Crimson in his natural element, it was quite honestly amusing to see a moron get properly punished, especially with their arm being clean off. The Owl woman had then decided to address Mercutio's monologue with one of her own. God! Yappity yappity, all she had to say was that she was going to heed his words and get stronger to fight. Wait, hold up. "You want to fight that thing?" Lyra inquired, remembering the black mass of death known as Oni. Far long ago, almost a whole year in fact, was when that monstrosity obliterated the gala event on the ship, an even in which Mercutio was on the verge of death as he lost his own arm. Taking a deep exhale, the young woman would give Manaia some advice, "If you are that insane, then at least know this. He," Lifting up a finger and gesturing over towards Mercutio, ", is going to do so as well, despite getting near killed by that thing last time. And after witnessing it decimate a yacht with minimal effort... You two are probably going to die fighting it! I don't know, use that information how you wish." Standing with her guard up, Lyra was fully prepared for a cheap shot by this woman, as it was truly hard to trust anyone who was yourself after all. What she wasn't prepared for, however, the sudden appearance of a very strange woman? It wasn't the fact that she appeared out of nowhere from above that startled her, as pretty much everyone here had some sort of power that could easily keep themselves from getting hurt from a sky dive. PLUS it would not add that much more concern from her, as she was already on edge from every kind of new arrival. It was her casual aggression towards the leader of Adrestia himself, and the kind of aura that Lyra could feel... Or rather an emptiness that pervaded around her. Grimacing as she can sense such energies through her own sheets, it was obvious from any kind of onlooker that she was DEFINITELY on the list to be avoided. But soon, many others followed suit... A lot of them moronically clashing into the molten rock which Elysium was built upon, but three fifths of the second wave managed to live. Eyes widening as she was already getting ready for battle, recalling all of her paper back to her side, she watched as more than half of them were already overshadowed by a looming dark presence. Glancing upward, Lyra caught the movements of the blondie's monster girlfriend smashing its foot downward. Moving away from the situation, Lyra leapt up into the air as the terrasque's might foot caused the land to shiver and quake, avoiding the effects that could have been. Handling her own footing once more, Lyra watched as the bone man had gotten up in order to rush towards Alana in a vicious manner. And soon he was cut off by the Bagged-Milk Drinking Fusion Kid, who decided that now was the best time to put an end to his already null-and-void life. Which left her in a rather precarious position, as she was separated from everyone else thanks to Alana and Unity quite literally dividing the area in half. Or at least was good incentive to not try and dive into the battle field immediately, as one of the free-fallen mooks was trying his best to stagger up to his feet. With a wave of her arm, Lyra controlled the Paper on hand into a tendril of sorts, having it snake from a position near her and attempt to impale the lowly attacker right in the back of his own neck. In the midst of this action, her own eyes glanced over at Manaia, completely wary of what possible movements she could make right now. "Frick," Lyra muttered to herself, about to do something she had no idea would work at all. Honestly, it can backfire, but if Mercutio was able to at least recruit all of these people to assist him, despite how someone still harbored the desire to murder him despite such immense power gaps... Then it was at least worth a shot. Speaking at Manaia, Lyra kept her gaze upon the field, reasoning with her, "Well? What shall you do? You going to attack me on the spot and make use of this chaos? Or will you just peacefully walk away?" Hopefully if the woman was sane enough, she would choose to stand down on the spot and retreat. Having the enemy help her was far out of her own broad scope of trust, thus was why she couldn't bring herself to even suggest such a notion. Her own other sheets of paper loitered around her body in a protective manner, so if anything was going to approach her, she can easily block any kind of attack without a second thought. While Mairu had ran around the most threatening looking of the lot, Artie had taken aim and spat at him. The little dragon had done her best to make it the coldest as she could. But with the constant movement, she couldn't be sure that she had even hit him. Not to mention that he seemed to be covered in a strange material, so her attack may very well have done nothing. Knowing that she was at fault more than her friend, Artemis patted his shoulder slightly, a silent "it's alright", when he said that he'd try harder next time. 'Luckily that guy doesn't seem to notice us' The creature thought as Tapu wandered off to try and fight other people, completely ignoring the fox and the dragon. With their original target gone, Mairu had to select another one. Where before the number of enemies were dwindling, however, they now seemed to be suddenly increasing. It appeared as if WISH had sent someone else, just in case the lava lady couldn't do the job. Her men plummeted to the ground like they were weighted down with stones, some landing with a sickening crunch that made the 9 year old flinch every time. Mercutio's speech and the blind faith of the mooks made the little dragon rather angry. 'What is wrong with everyone?' she wanted to scream, but only settled for a cold glare. She could do nothing about either situation, so swallowed her fury the best she could and focused on what was going on now. Her friend was going to run through the crowd of recently landed men, it seemed like. and Artemis wasn't going to let Mairu down. Nor would she allow him to be hurt. As the two blitzed through the group, the orphan would slash at them with a paw, keeping the other firmly attached to her friends shoulder. Artemis was so concentrated on attacking and defending that even she missed the obvious attack from Nala. As her friend went down, the little dragon pushed off of Mairu's shoulder and snapped her wings opened. The rumbling of the ground didn't affect her much at all as she drifted through the air slowly down to the ground. Once she landed, Artie ran up to her friend, concerned. He didn't seem to be badly injured, not enough to need a soothing cold on him at least. "Are you alright?" she signed. While she made sure that her friend was alright, the orphan kept and eye on the battle, ready to cry out for Mairu to dodge something if need be, or to try and jump in someone's way. summary
