Fell God of Waffles

Despite everything going on, Eizen would keep his attention focused on Gjoll's arm. With Mairu, he'd really only had to keep physical contact for a short length of time to close the injury he'd sustained, but with Gjoll, it was proving to be a longer endeavor... and a strange one at that. He could actually feel the skin growing back under the influence of his quirk, and while the the feeling wasn't good or bad, it was just weird. Regardless of how he felt about it, he'd continue his work. Every so often, he'd change the position of his hands to focus on larger injuries, working across the whole arm to first reduce the severity of Gjoll's injuries so that there was less of a possibility of the older boy bleeding out. Once that threat was removed from the playing field, then he'd either go to work on removing the arm of all injury... or get around to working on that hand. Eizen heard the goose saying something about turning heads before Gjoll acted, his cloak leaving his body. Eizen didn't need to turn around to hear the sickening snap, and while he didn't lose focus, his grip on Gjoll's arm would tighten for a second or two before relaxing again. After that, Eizen made a more serious effort to try and tune out the world to focus on healing Gjoll instead... unfortunately, that meant someone else would be at the forefront of his mind. Doesn't it feel good, Child? Knowing that people can rely upon you... or rather, upon your quirk? It's... It isn't like that, so shut up. He needed help and the goose couldn't- Oh yes, the goose was out of commission, how could I ever forget. Tell me, do you ever tire of this deluded fantasy you hold onto so dearly? What are you- I've seen your memories, Child. Or rather, Our memories. First he slaughters your sires in the name of a greater good and brings you here, and then he ignored you because your quirk wasn't something he found useful. After that, you managed to go off the island with that blonde boy, and got yourself sucked into my little trial, where I gave you a power befitting of a God. After that, you returned to the island after who knows how long, and he just suddenly cares for you? For the boy that once smelled of condiments and cowardice? Please, do not make me laugh at your naivety. You and I both know you're smart enough to know what's really going on here... "Just shut up and leave me alone..." It was a small mumble that would only be really audible to those close to him, but Eizen didn't care. He just wanted Overhaul to stop talking, to leave him alone and never come back... but he knew that wouldn't happen. He'd go back to being silent, and would leave him alone for a time, showing up either when he needed guidance or when he just wanted to rub it in Eizen's face that he was right. Off in the distance, he could hear what sounded like Mercutio screaming, but for now, he'd pay it no mind. His mind was silent again, and the people around him didn't matter. What mattered was working on restoring Gjoll's arm to a more manageable condition. Eizen didn't want to think about or see what would happen if he just suddenly stopped. As Taylor continued to follow Manaia they would notice the bright bird dim themselves most likely in an attempt to become stealthier. However that was not enough as the fused being was more than capable of seeing them well. After all, their light may have been dim but it was still a light and that was enough. At this time one of the other vitality members would release a smoke screen as they tried to shield themselves from Crawford's vision. Taylor couldn't really blame them, that black bird thingy was a pretty scary thing to deal with. Unfortunately for them it didn't look like the smokescreen had been very effective as the old man took on a transformation and flew through it with incredible speed. If Crawford wasn't planning on showing mercy than those two were probably done for. The fused siblings ran along the edge of the magma wall as they looked around at what their teammates were doing. Mercutio was still fighting Tsukiko and he seemed to have just fired off an explosion that looked akin in appearance to what Negan's quirk was capable of. "Huh....that looks awfully familiar." Taylor turned back as they focused back on the task at hand. Their leader seemed to be doing fine which meant that they had made the right decision to leave him in the pursuit of another target. Tsukiko had obviously bit off more than she could chew. As they continued along the wall, Negan started to weigh their options. Manaia only really seemed to be trying to save her ally which meant she wasn't actually a threat at the moment. Negan and Rosa weren't killers so why would they follow the owl when they could be helping Crawford deal with actual threats? The man had set off in pursuit of that smoke guy and a girl who were doubt trying to meet up with their allies. That meant if things went south for Crawford he might not have anyone to hep him. "Alright, Rosa. It looks like all our enemies seem to be converging where that Crawford guy is heading. I know we've been kind of indecisive in what we've been actually trying to do but it's probably for the best if we go towards our allies." "Lets just be careful." "You got it." With that, Taylor changed their direction towards Crawford's location. They were no longer attempting to follow Manaia but they figured there was a good chance they would probably end up in the same place anyways. The two of them knew that there wasn't much time before their fusion abruptly ended which meant it was probably for the best if they were surrounded by a powerful ally when it happened. They would be weaker than normal after un-fusing but nowhere near useless. Upon arriving at the scene, Taylor soon found that Alana was also here, launching a fire attack at Abyssal and her incapacitated comrade. That was good, another powerful ally only pushed the odds further in their favor. It seemed that Crawford was also launching an attack of his own, only it was primarily directed at Huntress and not Abyssal. With so many people in one place, Taylor decided to play it safe and wait for their teammates to take further action. If Alana and Crawford wanted to take on the others instead of letting them leave then Negan and Rosa would be right with them, but if they wanted to go the peaceful route then that was fine too. "What's the plan?" The two voices asked. As the fused being waited for an answer to their question they eyed their enemies, extremely weary of any attack that might come their way. The devastation of this side of the island was something to behold, but Manaia would find herself refusing to focus on it for the moment. Let her mind wander back later, but for now her allies were in danger. Carefully, she followed Chameleon and dropped Tapu carefully onto the ground beside him. Abyssal and Huntress... What a shame. To think that such a might warrior and the most powerful hero were laid so low so quickly, she had no words. Instead, before she could even untransform and speak something can blazing through in bright, a lady engulfed in rainbow fires came running into the scene, fast. Manaia's owl eyes narrowed as she heard her speak. This was the same child who used the flamethrower before, right? Sure enough, the exact same attack came their way. Manaia simple stepped in front of all fo her allies and spread her wings as far as she physically could, hopefully preventing any and all fire from even reaching them at all. This worked perfectly last time, it made sense to work now. Given the fact that she was only barely glowing, her body would be illuminated by the colorful fire splashing up against her body. Of course, to Manaia it was all just different shades of blue. Being colorblind had its downsides. Only after she started to block the attack did she notice the giant shadowy beast from before flying over her head. If she had a mouth right now, she would be scowling. What a coward. Only trying to take on the targets that were already injured. As it stood, she couldn't really do much, but she could make assumptions. Shadows didn't like the light, and her lasers had repelled him once before from harming anyone. Manaia's owl head swiverled around to keep an eye on him as it began to dive. Not wanting to risk an attack so close to her teammates and possibly miss with how fast he was flying, Manaia simply immediately returned to full brightness. Illuminating the rest of the field that wasn't already lit by the flames. Only time would tell if simply light would repel the beast or if she didn't do nearly enough. Loose idea of Mordred's current appearence The monsters had won that day. Mordred's calm, grim expression, beneath his spine covered face, did not waver as it surveyed the battlefield taking note of the casualties. He noted the scorched piles belonging to nameless men which would make unmarked and soon forgotten graves. He could make out body parts poking out of the sand at impossible angles where Nala had smashed them into the sand, some so deep that their entombment was complete. A couple bodies were sliced to ribbons. Others were hacked into gorey chunks. Not far from Mordred was what was left of one fighter that likely experienced something similar to a bomb going off. All corpses of men, but no monsters present. The monsters, Mordred could see, were pursuing what remained of the attacking force to exterminate them as far as he could tell. He started to move but stopped short as Mercutio was attempting to finish of Tsukiko. A little storm of energy and sand blasted past Mordred who stood and/or moved back as needed to avoid any direct effect of the attacks. Should the attacks be powerful enough to throw Mordred to the ground at range, he would pick himself up. Regardless, the sand blew from his body, unable to get a good purchase on his ragged, thorny hide. Mordred had a choice to make. He could stand by and watch or he could move in to join what was left of the fighting taking place near the escaping attackers. It was not long ago he lost a lot and had to make more sacrifices in addition to getting roped into all this due to leaving his enemies alive. In parts of the world that knew his name, he was a monster already, and he definitely looked the part these days, but something about attacking fleeing enemies seemed off. Mordred picked up the pace and moved to join Taylor and Alana and presumably Crawford on the far shore. Upon arrival, he'd make his presence and willingness to cooperate obvious, "I'll support your actions as best I can, seeing how we are in this together." Mordred readied himself to move in to attack as well as defend himself against coming blows as the same time as he raised his arms in front of his body taking a boxer's stance while his tail coiled around him. When the little dragon arrived at the small group, she had basically expected Mairu to follow her. Him saying that he'd catch up made Artemis feel a little bit sad, as well as hesitant. There was still a battle technically going on, even if things had died down or moved elsewhere, which meant that her friend could still get injured. But it was only a possibility, not a certainty, and so the orphan simply huffed in annoyance and kept an eye out on her friend. With no one in the group really understanding sign language, Artie turned her head to properly see where her friend had gone off to. She saw him talking to an older woman who was wearing strange footwear for a battle. The creature huffed again, arctic eyes shooting off a small glare in the strangers direction. She would never admit that she was feeling slightly jealous, and rather blamed such emotions on the fact that now was not the time for small chit chat. Things had started to move a bit more quickly around the group now. Another person was dropped off, the Goose was talking about someone using their quirk on someone called "Yole" to erase it, which to the 9 year old seemed rather impossible. The new injured person seemed to be in a bad way, and Doctor bird instructed all of them to look away. The sickening crack that followed made the orphan flinch and her stomach drop. The little dragon was standing there, staring fixedly at the sand, doing her best to forget what had just happened. She knew it was most likely a mercy, and that the boy probably would've died anyway due to the injury. Luckily for the girl, Gjoll asked for someone to go check on another resident who seemed to have collapsed. Artemis pulled herself up to her full height and nodding firmly. This task would hopefully take her mind off of the snap that seemed to somehow echo through the girl's head. Artemis bounded over to the stranger. As she got closer she slowed down, showing a bit of caution. The little dragon circled the other, noting how she clutched her stomach as if in pain. Carefully, and slowly, Artie reached out a hand and prodded the other, concern starting to set in. There wasn't much that the little dragon could do, unfortunately. Instead she turned to look at the group of medics, worry in her eyes. The orphan peeped as loud as she could, hoping to get someone's attention who could drag the paper wielder the rest of the way to the group. If someone would come to help she'd first motion to where the injured girl clutched her stomach, indicating that something must be wrong there. summary

Hiko sat on the stony ground of the island as she caught her breath. Despite her kill count and intimidating ability, she was still a pretty weak little girl. When she saw Doctor Goose waddling his way over to the injured orphan, she let out a relieved sigh. The boy was in good hands... er, wings. Her sigh of relief was cut short as she heard the tell-tale crunch of the boy's neck snapping. Even with all she had seen in her life, she still winced as the boy's life was cut short. "Oh... if I knew he was beyond saving, I would have just given the baldy a neighbor." Hopping up and stretching she turned to some of the others, resting the claimed cybernetic trophy on her shoulder as she tried to see what else needed to be done to help. She had entered this battle ready to earn her place along side the others, but so far all she had done was clean up the trash so to speak. She was ready to play a bigger role on the island, but she was still just a kid. Unlike the others, she hadn't received any personalized training or worked alongside some of the other residents, she could barely keep track of everyone's abilities with how fast they kept growing and changing. Turning away from the body scene, she found herself moving toward the paper girl, currently doubled over in pain. Offering Lyra a concerned look, Hiko squatted down beside her. "Hey... you're also not looking too good." giving the surroundings a cursory examination, she whispered to the girl "Pssst... Don't tell the goose you're hurt, he's in a 'snappy' mood if you catch my drift." She offered her a hand, noting the little dragon who had also come to help. "So... where does it hurt, and do you need a hug?" She asked, wanting to be as helpful as she could. summary/LP |

While somewhat fearful of the girls response, Mairu was glad to see that she found the tails on her arm helpful instead of a hinderance. She held a cheerful disposition about her, and claimed that she'd just been taking some time to herself since he'd last seen her. Introducing herself as Sonomi, and giving him a nickname that he couldn't help but smile at, she declared she was fine but her brother needed some help. Spotting the man on the floor next to her, Mairu frowned a tad as he recognized him as Satoshi. The pair hadn't had the best of meetings to say the least. Hearing further noises from above, the boy nodded as he directed Sonomi to follow, declaring "Alright Ms. Sonomi, but we better hurry!" The girl had an angered exchange with another islander he didn't recognize, the two not seeming not to like each other all that much. Arriving back at the group, there seemed to be a bevy of medical attebtion going around, having just missed the goose's mercy on Derge. His eye did, however, catch Artemis helping someone on the ground. Rushing over, the fox supported Lyra by her shoulder, finding her surprisingly light as he declared, "I'll help! Oh and this is Artemis, and this is my new friend Mrs. Sonomi. I'm Mairu by the way, Mrs. Paper Lady... Summary

Honk.
|
While the ghostly goose was a tad concerned at the lack of emotion he found in Alana’s response, the small medic wouldn’t be able to focus too much on the implications of the fiery loli’s words. There were people to heal after all, and he couldn’t allow others to bleed out during this battle’s lull. He didn’t plan on snapping anymore necks today, and God help Vitality if he had. The small doctor swam underneath the ground, popping up unannounced once again after he made his way towards the group he had previously abandoned. Still a bit tired from Mercutio’s earlier healing, Leroy would keep his words succinct before beginning his doctoral duties. ”It ain’t much, but it should help.” The still pooped goose would give off a slight shimmer, before a rush of Kindness would feel the area. The two Suo’s and Gjöll would all feel a bright, bubbly sensation, as if they were becoming inherently happier despite the macabre scene that lay before them. Their wounds would ever so slightly heal, as a chorus of country sounding honks filled the chambers of their minds. A tad grating, yes, but atleast their wounds were starting to heal. While the damage they sustained was far from being fixed, it was a start. summary

The Master
|
Chameleon No words came from Huntress, so it became obvious that she was out cold. Abyssal was holding onto consciousness, but only barely. The invisible Vitality operative took pause before stooping down in order to carry each woman over to the waiting boat, when... The sound of shouting caught his attention. He stopped, knelt between the bodies of his two comrades, and looked at an approaching ball of fire. It looked familiar, he realised; it was that woman from before, who had successfully blazed a path in the battlefield early on with that long range she seemed to have. He tensed, instinctively seeing something he knew to be strong and recoiling at the sight of it. He had to shield them. Huntress and Abyssal... they were in awful states, so they likely wouldn't be able to withstand the incoming blast of fire...!- A glowing, owlish body landed in front of him, and he found another body was laid in amongst those who were dying. Chameleon remained silent as he sat behind the Owl Mother, recoiling away... Roll for Success of Block Just in time, a dark-winged being swooped in and took Huntress up in its claw, regardless of how much the Owl Mother managed to block. Tsukiko The blue-haired woman just wasn't able to grasp the fact that she had taken damage, and that her opponent had managed to inflict this hurt upon her. The quirk which her body harboured was a perfect counter to his, so why...? Now was not a good time to learn of one of the void's limitations. Although all energy that touched her void powers would be negated, there was only so much absolute nullification that she could do in a short time frame. Her reckless mistake of getting in close had been her downfall, and the reason why she found herself being hurt in the battle. She snarled viciously with what remained of her strength in Mercutio's direction when he referred to her as 'Tsukiko-chan', spitting on the mass of void beneath her to show her disgust for this. "I meant... what I said..." She heaved, eyes dark with hatred as she looked up at him. "I can't lose... so I guess now, I have to die... a failure..." Her hands clenched into fists at her sides, falling to support herself on both knees as opposed to just one. There were no real words to express the tearing pain in her heart; the realisation that she had failed her brother, the person who this heartless, disgusting man had killed for mere sport. Expecting Mercutio to be unnecessarily over-the-top when it came to these final blows, she summoned what remained of her strength. Blood started to drip from her palms, from the void portals present there, as she collected void energies around her. She managed to avoid being slammed down to the ground as she used the void to push herself just out of reach before that happened, but she was beginning to taste blood in her mouth as she started to surpass her limits. "I can rest easy knowing... everyone on this earth is aware, now..." She gasped, now helpless to stop any further onslaught when Mercutio flew them high into the air. "YOU'RE A MONSTER!!" That would be all she wrote, as Tsukiko proceeded to be hit with energy through her head. No matter how much void energy she produced, nor how much her body bled from the portals covering her body due to the strain, she would ultimately fall unconscious near the end of his onslaught. 'Everybody's eyes are open, at least...' She thought in her stupour, hanging onto the line between life and death by a thread. 'I won't be the last to try and kill him... one day, he'll get what he deserves... karma waits for no man...' With one final dreg of strength from her body, she coated herself in a thin armour of void, just enough to avoid being blown apart from the force of so many energy types flowing through her this rapidly. Once he presented her as a trophy to the Vitality scum, she crossed that gap to the land of the dead. Her quirk deactivated slowly, with void energy rushing from her as she took her last breaths. Her eyes glazed over and her mouth hung open, as if illustrating with the utmost finality that she was gone. Something bizarre glowed deep in her eyes for half a second, and a strange spike of void escaped from her even after she went limp. A final show of Tsukiko's willpower, perhaps? The void energy would eat through whatever crimson energy was clinging to Mercutio, but wouldn't hurt by any means. What remained of her fire... died out. |

Crawford scowled at the glowing bright light that attempted to stop him. It seemed a rather significant annoyance of his was no on the scene. The light did little more than irk him, however. Though it was true that light was his natural weakness, the aged veteran had no reason to fear it be warded off by its mere presence. He might've been strongest in the black of night, but that did not mean he would find himself deterred by the light of day. Other than her attempt to scare him, Crawford supposed he should be thanking the cosmic owl. She at least made an attempt to shield Abyssal from the incoming flames, regardless of how effective that might be. Even under the threat of this attack, it seemed Abyssal herself made no effort at all to avoid or block the flames. Hopefully, a testament to just how damaged she actually was. That was 2 of 4 Crawfords intended targets within reach now... And in a moment, 1 was in his grasp. As the claw retracted, Crawford had it revert to its original size, so that he was holding the unconscious Huntress by her throat as he remained in the air. That was 1 down. Abyssal was in his sights. Sub Zero Ego was surely on his way. And Chameleon... Well, he was bound to still be around the place somewhere. But before turning attention to his enemies and they're possible whereabouts, he first needed to address the allies that had come to the same place. "Hold fire!" A firm and resounding command was given, the half-crow raising one of his claws to signal a cease in their attack. At least, for now. "There is nothing to gain by striking down those too weak to harm us. Not when they are far more useful to us alive. Make no mistake, do not let down your guard!" His words would be loud enough for the others to hear, and as they came from his beak the shadowy mass provided some strange and otherworldly distortion to his voice, making it nothing short of demonic in nature. This was only aided by the rage he kept flowing through him, though he was sure to keep it under control. Crawford glanced behind him, to those who had followed, with a piercing and serious gaze. "Strike at the first sign of hostility. Do not give mercy to those foolish enough to waste their chance." He commanded, before turning back to the Vitality members below him. Hopefully, the Elysians would heed his words. Or, be even further angered by them, a problem he would deal with when he came to it. The shadowy monster descended from the skies, landing a short distance in front of the glowing owl and the two unconscious bodies at her feet. The piercing gaze of his red-eyed visage glared into her, but also, scanned the are about them. "Sub Zero Ego, and the others like you, will be arriving shortly, no doubt." He spoke loud enough for the other Elysians to hear, while raising a hand to signal that they keep an eye out for them in particular. Wordlessly, he dropped Huntress from his grasp, before placing one of his clawed feet atop her head, positioning a shadowy talon at her throat. "Chameleon is also likely skulking in the shadows somewhere. It would be unwise for him to intervene." A small glance down at Huntress indicated exactly what he meant. "That leaves you alone to make this choice." A clawed hand extended toward the body of Abyssal. "Tell me, who is that at your feet? Not her name. Who is she? The world's greatest Hero?" His words lingered in the air, his demonic tone becoming thicker. "Or the enforcer of the world's most corrupt organization? I doubt you could answer, and I would not blame you. You have not seen what I have seen. You have not borne witness to the horrors they created of human flesh and mind. You have not been exiled for rejecting the imprisonment of such an abomination. You have not been trapped, away from your family, by a manipulative bounty. But, like me... You are a victim of their manipulation." He brought both hands in front of him, looking dignified as he continued. "I was once their warden. I know what a criminal looks like, and you and your cohort are not criminals. Not yet. You may leave, and bear a message for WISH. But at a price." Once again, he looked to Abyssal. "You have seen her conduct. Her senseless attacks on innocents. She is naught but a hand of WISH. And you, fodder for her purposes. You have seen these people, you have seen their nobility and conviction for yourself. So make the choice." His dark wings flared out, talons tightened around Huntress' throat, and beady eyes glared into Manaia with undeterred fury. "You will allow me to take Abyssal as a prisoner, and leave without any more blood spilled by those who do not even know why they are fighting..." Arawn's influence seeped in, and Crawford grinned just a little at the cosmic owl. "Or you may choose not to believe my words, and suffer the consequences. I sense you are not like Vitality, you do not have their lust for senseless violence. The man wielding smoke, the girl with him, the illusion boy, and the man at your feet... I would hope they are the same. Just as deceived. Do not guide them any further into fights that aren't theirs." He sincerely hoped she didn't choose to fight, but if that's what a took, he wasn't planning to back down. She was a criminal the moment she chose to allow Abyssal to flee, as far as Crawford saw it. "Choose wisely, and quickly, for more of our number may soon approach. Do not die for a cause you don't understand." Summary Trump Card Techniques, Stats, LP |

As he stood on top of the hardened lava, eyes would once more scan the battlefield. There was one more of them left, but for the life of him, he could not find him whatsoever. It was at that point where he had to weigh his options. Risk the lives of the majority to save the one, or leave while they can with who they have. It was irksome, to say the least, and he wishes he had the power to be able to end this all right now, but he had no such power, yet. Therefore, he had to make the tough decision which meant leaving The Illusionair behind. As for the rest, everyone had begun to gather on the other side, but there were Adrestia members already heading their direction to stop them. As he was about to head that way, he heard the loud roar of Mercutio, forcing him to turn back and see what it was about. There it was, Tsukiko was being beaten to a pulp, the attack was relentless and... quite jarring to see from this distance. The message was already sent before that, but now he was just taking it to the next level. This was overkill, Ezra knew it, and he would believe so did Mercutio. He would go to help the girl, but at this point, his team was already in need of his assistance and they were a priority. He could only hope the girl was able to survive the attack, for this was not a sight that anyone should have to witness, let alone go through. Turning away, he took off the wall and began to make his way over to the others. At that point, one of their members had managed to swipe Huntress and now hew as standing before to make deals with Manaia. From the position he was at, he could hear it all, up to the very end when the fucker requested to take Abyssal. At this point, Ezra was already pissed, this just added on to it all and at this point, he was about fed up with each of these pieces of shit. "Fuck that! No, you're not taking any more of my fucking members. I don't give a fuck who you are, I don't care about your gripe with WISH. We came here to do a job, that job failed and now we are leaving. Hand over my member or I swear to god..." He paused for a short moment. He was tired of using his words, he was done with people constantly getting in their way. He wanted to leave with everyone, but at this point, he had to make the best decision for Vitality. Seeing Huntress like this annoyed him to no end and he knew how the woman thought. For them to put so much effort into saving her, she would be annoyed more than anything. Biting his lip, a foot stepped forward at that point as electricity began to surge a trail left and right. Rising up would be a wall of ice, that raised up to about 7ft, which still gave Ezra a view of the other side. To avoid them following after them, spikes began to launch out at Crawford and Alana. The wall was there last ditch and this was the time they needed to get off this island. "We need to leave now. Owl, fly us to the boat, I got Abyssal. The other two look to be over there getting out of the water, we need to sweep them up and get out of here, alright?" Still not sure where Chameleon was, he went over to grab Abyssal. He reverses his transformation so he was smaller and light enough to ride the back of Manaia. With any luck, they should have been able to get home free, the spikes were good to slow down the bastard and the fire broad. Summary, Stats, Items, Techs, LP |

Curled up against the sandy ground, Lyra felt the world shake underneath her. Wait, no, that's her own body shivering, muscle spasms running up and down her own body, the young woman knowing completely that her entire body wasn't alright. This felt like absolute hell, so much so that she did not notice the initial helper who bounced their way on over to her location, who was too small for her eyes to focus on. Though the next person to arrive was someone who accidentally said something very snarky, to which Lyra groaned at a simple, "Freaking right!... I'm not looking good..." Pausing as she pulled her face directly out of the sand, granules clinging onto her now sweat laden face. It was obviously not a natural sweat built up, as her own eyes weakened upon seeing the stony form of Hiko. Letting out an exhale, the young woman releases a simple, "S-sorry... It jus-... hurts a lot. All over. And I d-don't need a hug." Reaching a hand to the girl's offering hand, Lyra took notice that maybe she might be right about not asking for help at the moment from the neck snapper country yapper. At the same time, another person came to her aid by lifting her up by the other arm. It was a young boy, whom was close enough for her vision to not fade out and blur. Being helped up to her feet, Mairu and Hiko would feel that Lyra was unable to keep her own footing at the moment, despite the fact the only injury was a slightly red blotch in the paper covering around her left, robed forearm. Hearing his words, Lyra glance around and finally noticed the dragon thing. Narrowing her eyes, the young woman started to wonder if she was hallucinating or not as she was completely unaware of this creature's existence. Either way, she did not want to be known as the Paper Lady. Heaving out in such a thick breathy tone, "It's... The name's Lyra. Th-thanks." Keeping her words brief and simple as she was on the edge of exhaustion. Looking up in the direction of Sonomi, she moved her free arm in a waving motion towards her friend. Though, Lyra was completely unaware of something extremely odd that everyone else would notice. While waving, a ton of paper slid out of the sleeve of her own robe, while the fabric from Lyra's elbow and onward was flopping around, as there was nothing at the end of that arm. Shockingly enough, blood wasn't even splattering out. Something odd was at play here, and Lyra wasn't aware of it just yet. [/color] Summary

Taylor looked to the hold the dark creature had on the woman. She couldn't do anything to fight back. The eyes of the fused siblings widened as they realized what was happening. A shudder went down their spine as they could remember the screaming. Taking prisoners. Attacking those that didn't stand a hance to fight back. It was just like what happened to them. It was the African Elections all over again. Stepping forward, the arms of the fused being inflated. Using their enhanced strength Taylor attempted to leap to the top of the ice wall that had been made. But they would not take a step over the wall after the Vitality members. Turning to face their own side, one of the eyes started to tear up. Mercutio had said these people were their family. On the inside Rosa wanted nothing to do with what was going on, but Negan helped the younger girl keep focused. Calm down Rosa. We need to do this. Right. Right. We can't let this happen to more people. Tears still fell, but a fire was in in both eyes. Both voices spoke out, if they were unable to get atop the wall then they would just stand in front of it. "This isn't right! Just let them go back to their families! No matter what they did, they don't deserve being stuck on this island and losing everything they hold close to them. It isn't a fight anymore, just toture." Fusion-Ha paused, readying to try and stop anyone that kept attacking. "If you're going to make them go through what we did, then you'll have to go through us. We don't want to hurt anyone more, but we will stop whoever tries." Summary Techs, LP, Stats

Clarification on what the previous roll means... A singular d100 was rolled to determine how successful the blocking attempt was, due to the offensive technique used being conical, and therefore spreading wider than a singular beam, at the extremes of its range. The rolled number was 28 out of a possible 100. Higher numbers are better, as with any dice roll. As such, it is safe to assume that the block attempt could only really protect one of the four individuals behind the blocker, even if they are bunched up as assumed. Huntress was successfully grabbed with an aerial move. This leaves Abyssal, Chameleon (invisible) and Tapu as potential individuals to block the damage for. Only one can receive absolutely no damage from the flamethrower. |

This was it…! Time to start erasing her weakness, over-writing it with strength by purging those who had fallen; those who had torn asunder everything they had worked so hard for. She was fast, but very visible as rainbow fire burned all across her body. When she was within range of sight, spotting two bodies up ahead, she was ready. The fires extinguished on her skin, and orbs instead converged into her wizard staff so that she had the maximum range available to her. Almost there… when she was certain of a hit from the range she was at, she loosed the flamethrower of rainbow fire with a wave of her trusty staff; her final cry of her intention to burn these weaklings echoing in the otherwise empty space around her. A lot of things started to happen all at once after that. She heard voices, and after launching her attack, she turned to start taking in what was happening. That god damned preachy owl bitch swooped in, her dumb, energy-ridden body getting in the way of her beautiful flaming redemption. “No…” Alana gritted her teeth hard, grinding them slightly as her hair and eyes suddenly blazed blood red with anger. Then came some demonic thing with wings that swooped in and grabbed one of her targets, and the colour of fire that started to burn around her was that of building, dangerous rage. “No…!!” She repeated, louder and filled with all of her hatred. Alana stopped running any closer, rooted to the spot while flames continued to coat her body; scorching at the sand beneath her feet. She recognised the voice of that prison guy from before coming from the demonic formed creature, and her anger peaked. A tower of rainbow flames erupted from her head and her whole body went taut as the guy proceeded to lecture her, lecture everyone around them, about it being wrong to kill these monstrosities that had been waiting to be culled. “They don’t deserve life after that they did to our home!!” Alana yelled, the voice coming from somewhere deep down inside of her as its volume reverberated in spite of what one may assume from looking at her. “Are we okay with letting these… bastards get away with literal murder?!? With destroying our island’s only medical facility?!” She continued to scream, clenching her spare hand so tightly into a fist that she drew blood. She was absolutely livid. She grew deaf to all other preaching from this prison guy, somebody who had only hopped on board when he realised that WISH were a bag of shit, and probably someone who was so far up on his high horse that the saddle was riding into his anus. She had no time for such sorts, nor the patience at present. All the rest of his words, of other conversation, fell on deaf ears as she watched and stewed, and stewed, and stewed in unadulterated anger. Her taut, tense body reacted quickly to the wall of ice that rose between her and the bastards who chose to bring about wanton destruction in the name of some higher purpose, and she cried out in rage. “NO!!” Once again, her body burned bright with rainbow flames as she sprang backwards, away from the spikes that started to shoot out towards her. Movement was a blur as she sprinted to get out of range, and started looking for a way around that cowardly wall. You can’t expect me to know that these idiots killed our own without doing everything to stop them!! What are you, fucking retarded?!” She screamed at nobody in particular, the timing of it fitting in to respond to what the Taylors were preaching. Preach, preach, preach. Blah, blah, blah. We’re good, no we’re good, we’re better. “I don’t care about what’s right or wrong to the rest of the world, or even to anybody else!! All that matters is what I BELIEVE!!” Alana ran with all of her speed straight at the icy, spiked wall that separated her from the Vitality wankers who were escaping. She brought down her staff hard into the sand, vaulting herself up into the air with her highly increased speed in order to jump clean over the 7ft wall. “While they live… they illustrate just how weak I am! Weak… so weak that I couldn’t save anybody on this god-forsaken island!!” She yelled as she flew through the air before tucking into a roll to land on the wall’s other side, provided she wasn’t stopped by anybody. “Strike me down, o you righteous bastards who think you know better!! But I’m going after these shit-heads!” And with that warning issued of what her intentions were, she started sprinting; following wherever the Vitality bastards were going, and putting pressure on them with some weak fire blasts at their backs.
