Kibary boarded a train heading for Canada, a cheap one too but it was from America's pride and joy New york. It's been too long since this Canadian has been home, or even close to seeing another, he probably has but couldn't tell the difference. Summer time always hit his homeland gentler than the winter days, he breathed in the air of the train station, the chatter of people, the sounds of the train going 'choo choo' in his head was a childish thought. But the loud horn it blew was close enough, he smiled brightly while he had the money to buy tickets, he had sent them to the few friends he had via courier. Remembered having paid a kid to deliver these tickets, hopefully the runt didn't run off with them! Sighed with irritation as the thought passed by him, grumbled quietly. "That'll spoil my mood if Jasna isn't here, or Zeke even...If that kid takes off with that box for his own.." His thoughts trailed off as he'd not think of what he'd do to him, it was a kid. "Scold him? Tell his mom about what he did? nahh..." He chuckled with a shake of the head,. forgetting it since he wasted money. It wasn't an object of importance yet, no need to so stingy he thought. The train was unloading people and they flooded out like ants out of water, kibary waited while he carried his bag of goodies on his back with a strap unhooked to him. It was a fight or flight, but in this case it was a train ride. The blonde boy who had a fair bit of luggage with him, he looked to be an adult with some fuzz growing on each cheek, a leather jacket hanging on his left arm to hide the weight he had been carrying. When he got near the conductor he was a screaming "All aboard! The train will be leaving for Canada, Hamilton!" That conductor looked to be in his seventies, grey hair and a beard that went down to his chest. Kibary smiled over to him and offered his ticket, "Uh..here ya go, thank you! Heading home, for once." He smiled up to the conductor even when he gave him a stink meaner look, but was allowed to board as everything was in order. The conductor stamped his ticket and Kibary entered to find a beautiful interior unlike the exterior, it looked cheap but the compartments? High quality it was. ![]() Wandered down the hall until he found an empty compartment, he shoved himself inside before another passenger could steal it. He took off his jacket and sat back in his stained white and black zig zag shirt, looked like a touch of brown splattered on the shoulder of it. He looked down at the weight and got to work, pulling his arm up and down with the metal. "Still not that tough, working on it though.." He didn't bother pulling down the curtains for privacy, not like he'd be pulling any sketchy moves on the train today. |

With a light skip to her step, Marilla meandered her way through the train station. Her pace lacked any hint of rush, attributable to the ample time she had allowed herself before the train would be departing. On her back she carried a simple string bag, almost entirely bereft of items, after all, she didn’t expect to need any hefty amount of supplies given that this particular trip could be expected to be fairly brief. Living in Maine, taking a quick trip across the border by train had always been something fairly inexpensive, and made for quite the enjoyable couple days. A comfortable familiarity with the station aiding her in her journey, finding the particular train she would be boarding was a simple task. As she grew closer, she had to spend a moment navigating through a suddenly increased number of people, no doubt those who had departed from the train as it stopped. After passing the last stragglers, she reached the train itself, and casually handed off her ticket to the conductor, boarded the vehicle. Upon entering the cabin, she made a turn and began walking down the length of the train, admiring the classy woodwork of the compartments. The classic feel felt far more luxurious than other modern trains she’d been on, which always felt to be more focused on simply cramming in as many passengers as possible. If one were to ride through pleasant scenery, a train like this one offered one of the best ways to do so. Not to get lost in admiring the compartments’ exteriors, Marilla quickly moved forwards to look for one she could sit in. While she would gladly meet and chat with a new person, she knew some people prefer to travel in silence and solitude, so she tried to attain an empty one rather than barge in on some adult. Unfortunately, it was at this point that she realized perhaps she should not have been so quick to take a leisurely pace through the station, as much of the seats had already been taken, either by those who had gotten on at past stops or simply those who had beat her to the train at this particular station. Pacing up and down the train car to double check, she realized she would soon have to take her place, so figured she ought to look for someone with whom she could share a cabin for the ride. Ignoring cabins already full and those which contained either families or clear telegraphs that their inhabitants wanted to be left alone, she made her way along the lines of compartments with some haste, given the train’s departure from the station was drawing ever nearer. In a rush, she simply elected to enter a cabin which seemed at least semi-viable. As a result, she ended up outside a cabin which hadn’t been curtained by its occupant, looking in and knocking politely to enter. |

Kibary rarely thought of his upbringings, but as he was communicating with others the more he reflected on how better others were from him, stronger, interesting. He pulled up the weight a few more times as he just thought of the fight he had with Khari, he recalled pulling some asinine move he saw in a wrestling show. He looked around his compartment as he was just getting settled, he lifted weights for a short while but when a he heard a knock. Kibary's attention shot for the window, an excited and jovial expression riddled his face as he thought of a friend coming to see him. But it wasn't who he had been expecting, it was a younger girl, a kid? His initial thought was to wave her off but then again, it wouldn't be polite of him to refuse someone seeking a seat. He didn't let his smile fade for a moment as he set down his weights and stood up for the door, he opened it with a tilt of the head. "Hey there!" He piped while peeking his head out of the compartment to check each side, more or less forced his head out, hopefully she had given him some space. He wouldn't have if she hadn't, Kibary tried looking for someone of interest, someone he knew, but alas he was disappointed. He looked back at her with an apologetic look. "Sorry, I was uh..Expecting a friend, but I guess they didn't get the tickets. You're looking for a spot to sit down eh?" He'd ask having looked over the girl for her luggage, all she had was a bag. He sighed in relief before looking back up at her, he stepped back without a second thought and welcomed her in. "Ya can share this spot with me if ya like! I don't like hogging space if there's room to be shared." She wasn't like most people he's met, that was for certain. He thought she couldn't breathe with all that water on her head, but it isn't nice to judge someone simply based on their quirk. A boy who bled kindness as he adjusted the toque on his head, it was grey and with a small maple leaf on the front. His only worry about her was if she had been hiding extra luggage somewhere else, some people couldn't leave home without a dozen of their belongings, those types of people he dropped off faster than they can say 'Ring a ding ding'. Thinking of this, the train had been pounding the bells for another check for passengers who wished to board. He lucked out with what he could get, saving up all that cash from little jobs paid off in a fancy way. Throwing newspaper at people was a dream job, especially if they had garbage can heads. He looked at her oddly though it wasn't out of disdain or any sense of rejection, he just had been following one of the little Aquarium. A chuckle escaped him before he shook his head and eyed the girl with grin emerald eyes, he sat down with a little thud, reaching over his backpack away to the wall on the far side. Awkward actions as he fumbled around to move everything out of her way, he valued her comfort since he would be sharing the same room with her for quite a while, maybe hours? Hopefully nothing bad would happen on this trip, he pursed his lips thinking of his friend Jasna, Zeke too. Where could they be? "Alll aboard! The train will be leaving shortly. On route for Canada." shouted the conductor, chewing on a small tobacco leaf, nasty. |

The heel of her cowboy boots clacked against the floor of the train car. Not loudly, but softly liked the paws of a cat against a wooden floor. Audible, but not loud. Some may not have heard it over the clatter of train wheels on their track. The woman had been gasping when she first got on the train. She had just barely made it, but there was no sigh of that as she made her way down the cars, running her hands over other people's seats, taking in the feel of felt. A few men stared at her back, silently admiring her slender figure, and subtle curves, but most of the other passengers looked away. She didn't care ether way. She searched for a certain man. No one else mattered. Only for a moment did the view of the forest rushing past catch her attention. The rest was the search for this one man. Over the past few months the woman's life had been twisted and turned upside down. Her original community torn asunder, her life full of adventures that distracted form her life's work. There it all was one anchor. One person who stayed stable through it all. She peered down in every seat, and those that noticed peered away to avoid waywardness. She saw a man who's blond hair arranged itself into curls, and her heart raised. For a second their eyes met. His pupils dilated anticipating she might say something to him. Her heart sunk again when she saw the man's nose was too big, and brows to bushy to be the man she searched for. She turned away and continued. With each car she walked through she became her heart became heavier and heavier. He was supposed to be on the train. Where was he? But then so much what went wrong with her life why shouldn't he? Then there was a voice. She knew it. He was taking to someone. Leave to him to already have a new friend. the woman followed the voice. She approached his seat from behind, put an arm over it, and spoke herself. "Hey." |

As the door to the cabin popped open, Marilla made way for the stranger’s head to poke out, a slightly confused expression initially upon her own face at the sight of the stranger looking about with a smile. A cursory glance didn’t seem to give away any real information about the person, but their friendly attitude was more than satisfactory to qualify them as someone Marilla would be willing to share the train ride with. She was a bit concerned that perhaps she would steal a seat from someone given that they were looking around, but she was sure that if the expected additional members were so great in number that they could not all share a cabin the boy would tell her. ”Hiya!” Her offered response to his greeting was in a cheerful tone and her smile did not waver in the face of the apologetic expression offered, though she had somehow given off the impression that she had been offended by something. After the next question, she promptly answered, once more with a chipper voice. ”Yes, I am, though not if it’ll be a bother.” As soon as she was offered a spot in the cabin, she cheerily entered and sat back in the seat, somewhat casually sprawling across it. ”Thanks for shar’n with me. By the way, what’s your name stranger? Mine’s Marilla.” Her voice was pleasantly inquisitive, and her face wore a spreading grin that had been growing since she’d entered the cabin. Shifting slightly as she spoke, she withdrew her bag from her back and bent forwards to stow it beneath the seat, before rising back to sitting and taking a moment to more properly survey her surroundings. She immediately felt guilty for thinking it of someone who’d been nice enough to share the space with her, but the stranger seemed unremarkable in appearance, maybe even a bit sloppy. Marilla reprimanded herself for judging, that wasn’t a good thing to do. Particularly given her own casual attire of a t-shirt, sneakers, and cargo pants. Aside from the stranger, she also noted the presence of his possessions which seemed to include some weights. The room itself was just as pleasantly ornate as she would expect from the train. She was somewhat absorbed in her present surroundings and thus would not initially notice the approach of the new person. The newcomer arrived and her words caught the attention of Marilla, and her eyes followed sought out the source, settling on the somewhat imposing figure. Was she one of the friends which the boy had been waiting on? Or maybe just someone else who wished to sit by them? Either way, Marilla figured it would be best to first let the boy respond rather than jumping to conclusions and potentially causing confusion. |

When the girl sat herself on the bench near him, his eyes would not dare look away from her. Not out of any sorts of discomfort or dividing reasons, her fish bowl or whatever that was; looked pretty and neat. Marilla was a swell name, bright, original too, just like her it would seem. This white Canadian always had an eye for likable people, well, if he saw someone then and there he knew he'd get along with them. Or so he would try to, usually ends up with problems along the way. Sharing this cart with her, and more wouldn't put him down at all, in fact he welcomed company when it presented itself. He casually removed his Canadian hat onto his lap while he rolled the dumbbell with his foot so it was out of the way for her, "You? A bother? Please,a bother would be someone bringing in twenty cases of luggage! And I don't think we have enough room for that, do you?" With a smooth but bright and friendly voice he offered a hypothetical, a joke. He smiled as he said this, growing wide but on the inside; thinking they were already friends! "My name's Ki-...Ki..." He paused for a moment, blinking with a look that spelt he was out of focus. The very question hit him as if he should be naming himself by a real name or go by an alias, he wasn't in costume nor did he bring any of that junk with him for the ride. All that was in his bag was snacks, a map, and a coin a very special coin. One he very often named 'King' for whatever the reason, it was like an edgy thing to do but to him. It was a grasp for some sanity, so he knew what to keep close to him and what to drop. "...Did I pack that damn coin?" he thought to himself, clearly panicking as he reached down under the seat to grab his bag. Inside his bag, there was the coin in a little pocket. He sighed in relief and chuckled before looking back to Marilla. "Sorry...I thought I forgot to pack something important, but...I'd think speaking with ya is far more important than an object. Name's Kibary, and forgive me rudeness..: he chuckled further with some innocence illuminating off of him, scratching at the back of his nlonde hair. He saw himself having some charm, even if it were for passive and good conversation, he needed excuses to say words. The compartment door was left wide open, it seemed that Marilla had forgotten to close it or Kibary's foot was making it so. A familiar voice echoed in his head and without a moment's notice, he jumped up to his feet and stared down Jasna with a blank look, was this actually her or someone with a doppelganger quirk? there was no stance to indicate he was picking a fight, but this woman he had been looking at Jasna. Was not an enemy, nor would she ever be, but he'd hope for more when he'd go in for a bear hug, least hoping to get one in! "Jassie! You made i'! " But soon he would back up, having left his bag on the floor in the room. "I thought that kid would've ran off with the tickets, I'm glad you're here." There was merit to his words, in truth he more or less relied on this woman, to keep him both sane and happy. Now it wasn't the sort of lovey dovey happy, he just genuinely enjoyed her presence, if not a bit more than that. Relieved aboved all else, he sighed before glancing back at Marilla with a grin, mischief in his eyes but not the kind that meant 'You're in trouble now' but everything was about to get interesting. "Ya comin' in? Missed ya some." He didn't act like missing her was a big deal, but in truth he did. He sat back down with a nod, having kept the dumbbell under his seat, it rolled and hit his ankle. "Ow.." he whined quietly.. |

Yami had entered the train any other way a kid would enter the train…he walked on. However, there was one problem. He had no ticket. See, Yami didn’t necessarily know how these forms of transportation worked- actually, he didn’t know how any form of transportation worked. He had walked into the station and saw one of the trains exit the station really fast and he wanted to get on. So, he did. The young boy followed a group of people to one of the open doors and simply walked on In. He smiled up at the man standing on the platform who shouted something about a board before continuing along his own way. However, the moment Yami turned a corner, the man standing at the door shouted something to him and stepped on the train after him. Yami raised a brow and watched the man walk towards him, but the moment the man reached his hand out, Yami realized what was going on. This guy was it and trying to tag him! The black haired male immedaitely felt his adrenaline star coursing through his veins and grinned. He immediately turned and dashed off in the other direction. This big man wasn’t going to catch him! No, no, not today! Yami wasn’t going to be it today~ The 14 year-old boy scurried around a bit, pushing through the crowd and past people, before the big man had to stop and catch his breath. Yami ran a little bit more before slowing down a car or two away from the man. Wow. This place was fancy. It was just a nice hallway with a bunch of door handles. He wondered where they lead to. So, he grabbed a handle, only to reveal a small empty room. This caused Yami to frown ”That’s not fun.” He spoke before closing the door and crossing his arms. What to do to make this experience more interesting? Hmm..Oh! The teen grinned and decided to get some revenge on these stupid little rooms. Yami giggled and licked his hand, rubbing the infected saliva on the handle before moving on to the next one. He continued this slowly, one by one, before he heard the big man shout from down the hallway. Yami turned his head to watch the male before squealing happily and hurrying down the hallway again, skipping this time instead of running. Okay, maybe being chased wasn’t going to be the best way to get away from the big man. ”Ah ha! I can hide!” He said to himself and turned in to an open cabin door, which just so happened to be filled with a group of people ”Excuse me!” He said, dropping to the floor and attempting to crawl in between the seats and around anything in his way, like feet, to make it to the back of the cabin.
