It had been a long while since anything really happened. Mercutio left the island and the inhabitants to their own devices, and that was pretty much it on this very odd island of his. Lyra had pretty much done a whole lot of nothing honestly, just keeping to her own devices and trying to mess around with her paper powers. Honestly, after seeing Mercutio outright save all of them from that gala event, and then hearing the judgement he had on on her, it kind of left her in a really odd spot to think about how she wanted to go about things from now on. Obviously she wasn't going to be able to leave and go home. Honestly she didn't even know if there was anything to return to! She hasn't been able to visit the states in months, and by this time any kind of things she used to own was more or less sold off or repossessed. Whatever life she had before, it was long gone. There was nothing out there for an ex-convict like her. Which lead her to her new life on Elysium, just helping out whenever she felt like it. It was the least she can do, but without any real guidance or goal, Lyra reclused back into her own room. On this underdeveloped island which made her feel like she was in the stone ages. It honestly was utter hell, as she even had to use the ocean as her toilet, because F U C K using portapotties. Much time had passed, and Lyra had even started seeing Sonomi less and less, and a lot of damn kids. Like, a looooot of them. Out of nowhere, these brats started to run about on this island under order of Mercutio. It was more of a headache than it was honestly worth, but Lyra had no reason to argue back. But today was an odd day, as one of the orphans ran up to Lyra's room and told her to come with them. From what the little kid told Lyra, the white haired girl, who was more or less described to be Sonomi, had wanted Lyra to come meet with her. Smiling behind her own mask, the paper wielding woman finally saw a chance at creating some new memories. Following the orphan, she was brought out to an open field in the middle of Alana. Nothing in sight as Lyra tried to keep herself warm despite the winter climate. Not even Sonomi. Tempted to go back, Lyra at least played along with this ploy, raising her voice as she asked out loud, "Hey! Sonomi! You here or not?" |

Why was he still on this shitty island? He asked himself this question everyday he woke up in his room in this stupid hotel on this stupid island that seemed to just have the bare necessities of survival. There was essentially no spare water, almost all of it being used for drinking purposes so that everyone here didn't die of thirst, making showers and toilets go from an almost universal appliance to a luxury. This meant he had to settle for more...debased...methods of his more private moments, and hoping that the salt in the ocean was a decent decontaminant He didn't know why he was doing this to himself, especially for as long as he has. It was made abundantly clear he could leave anytime he wanted, or at least when the Crimson Cunt was on the island which was not the case at the moment. But even when he was, Mihles still decided to stay. He was doing this to himself by choice! And honestly, he didn't have a good reason, he told himself it was to prove his sister wrong, and make his family stronger by getting as strong as the monstrously powerful man that lived here. But so far he had learned and done absolutely nothing, and spite could only motivate a person so far. And really he didn't couldn't use caring for his family for an excuse, he wasn't able to contact his family here since there was no service, and he was pretty sure they probably thought he was dead by now. Of course, he actually probably would be if the Crimson Cunt hadn't been there, as much as he hated to admit it. Though that itself led to another strike against the one armed bastard, as he had killed his boyfriend in his attempts to save the rest of them. He should have left from the beginning like any sane person would have, and continued trying to expand his family name, but instead he had stayed for over a month. And in most of that time he had had a broken arm thanks to shooting that gotsan. After breaking his arm, he had stayed in his room away from everyone as it healed up, usually only going out when he needed to rewrap it. It had also made using the ocean to clean himself a pain given he couldn't wrap his cast in plastic, meaningbhe had to undo it and redo the cast every morning. He'd broken his arm before, but never had it been as detrimental and annoying as it had been here. But now he was finally healed, and Mihles had decided to go out in the island, if only to find some things to do with his arm to see how it felt. But when he opened the door to his room and started out, he almost flew into a kid who had been standing in front of his door. These kids had just appeared one day, as if they'd grown out of the ground. Mihles didn't like kids, and had been worried the island had been about to amazingly get even worse, but thankfully they were more focused on doing what the Crimson Cunt asked. The fact one of them was in front of him, something he went out of his way to avoid, meant today was gonna be different. They stated someone was asking for him, the white haired slipper girl who was another big reason he'd ended up here, as she had recruited him when they were on the ship. Mihles gave a very annoyed expression to the kid. That hwran really thinks I'm on her fucking beck and call? All he got was an unsure look from the orphan, and not just because Mihles was using some Welsh. The boy obviously was not expecting such a reaction from him. But instead of complaining further, Mihles asked where she wanted to meet and moved the boy aside as he left his room, now heading towards where he'd been directed. He wasn't fond of the idea of obeying such a summons as this, especially in the manner it was given, but honestly he had absolutely nothing else to do. Upon arriving he was met with another familiar face. The masked girl who controlled paper. She was also looking for their summoned, calling out her name several times. Mihles had mixed feelings of the girl, though he was pretty sure she disliked him. On the ship things had been tense between them, but then she'd actually attempted to save his boyfriend which while it failed had still made him go from actively disliking her to simply being annoyed by her. And while he hadn't had any problems with her since, he also had no reason to actually like her. So he watched her call out for a little bit before approaching. I really hope you're not as desperate as you sound for this ast. While somewhat rude and mocking, for Mihles it was actually an example of him playing nice given it was only just a little insulting. Though it was still probably best that she didn't know that he had just called Sonomi a bitch in Welsh. |

Sweet Baby Lemon Hands, the wizard, is here to the rescue!

Sonomi wasn't as chipper and confident as she usually appeared to be - anyone could blatantly see that upon the girl who shambled about on the island. It was unfortunate that she couldn't tell them why she'd been hurting so much and how she simply couldn't get over her rather sour mood. But that's how it is, isn't it? Sonomi thought to herself as she was putting on her white sleeved shirt with red accents on her arms. I suppose going out today would be the best... She continued as she tried her best to fit into some red pants that obviously was just a bit big on the girl. Sonomi was quick to find some suspender clips to properly keep the pants up on her small frame, heaven forbid they fell off when she was to go outside today! Now it was time to figure out what exactly the girl wanted to do today, knowing that there wasn't really much to do on the island that was up to date with modern civilization. There was always punching sharks like she'd usually done many times before, but today she wanted to do something just a tad bit different. She recalled that after the Gala that there was a meeting that she hadn't really rescheduled with two rather eccentric individuals. Lyra, the girl who was covered by papers filled with transparent burdens... and Mihles. That hot headed boy who almost acted like a Tsundere, if he wasn't one already of course. This wasn't to say the boy hadn't had his own struggles to deal with, more so after recalling the fact he'd lost a loved one during their disastrous cruise that night. "What a shame, those two." The abrupt thought verbally left girl's mouth as a pair of orphans had waddled their way up to her to ask her if she was okay. GUESS WHO IT IS? "Onee-san, onee-san! Are chu okay?!" The familiar twins spoke as they still wore their Pikachu outfits and smiled up at her. They could tell their big sister wasn't happy, it was more apparent ever since they left the elections and returned upon this island they now called home. "You hungry? We can ask big brother for food!" The older boy pleaded as he tilted his towards the white haired girl. "Mhm, we help big sis." The younger twin said as she waddled over to hug Sonomi's legs and leave but a warm embrace between the two of them. "It's fine you two, besides..." Sonomi's arms gently moved the younger towards her brother before kneeling down to the smile softly and rub the twin's hair in unison, "Mercutio-san isn't here right now. He had some important business to attend to, so we have to be on our best behavior." The girl knew why she stayed behind as she didn't want a clear repeat of the events during the elections - her eyes glistening against the ever approaching sunset that was meant to greet the water below. "Don't worry though, I'll protect you and those here. He left us in charge!" She tried to sound chipper about the whole ordeal as it was true in a sense. Mercutio always left the island in Sonomi and the gang's care - that much was obvious if it wasn't for the girl being a shut-in recently. "Actually, I have a favor for you two if you'd like to make your big sister proud." Sonomi began as she could see the sparkles in the twin's eyes. With their ever growing excitement did she let out a silent chuckle before continuing, "I need you to get me the girl made of paper, and the grumpy boy and tell them to meet me right here - do you know which ones I'm talking about?" The white haired girl asked slowly as she tried to do her best to give a simple but in depth description of the two of them. This took about a good ten minutes before they two were confident enough to look for the two people that fit their big sister's description. "After that, wait for me in my room okay? I'll be back soon and I'll read you a story - yeah?" She finished before the two were already off to find Lyra and Mihles. Sonomi's bare feet trudged around the sand that spread far and wide across the island that they were currently on. "It's been a ride, hasn't it?" She said towards herself as she knew she had more than enough time to think aloud to the open air. It was still Winter around this time and so it was only fair that the cold breeze nip against her sensitive skin. "Though was it all worth it? ... To be where I am now?" Her voice whispering as she walked towards the water but not enough to get her small feet wet just yet. "After everything I've done... was it okay?" She continued as she remembered the vivid pictures running through her head, a soft sigh leaving her mouth as she looked up at the few stars that preemptively showed up in the sky. The girl took her time to gaze up at the few stars that were excited to dance regardless of the sunset, a forced smile spreading upon her face as she remembered. "I hope your fine up there, in the stars that is.. Eu-..." Just simply saying that name was enough to make her heart hurt, her hands balling up into fists before blinking a few times towards the water in front of her. "If only you would of gave me a reason - anything was fine so long as I knew. If I was too much, I would of left. If I was too reckless, I would of stood back." Her voice hinting at the anger that rarely showed during her times of sorrow, but many minutes passed as soon she was seen releasing her hands and looking up at the sky one last time. "My patience is running out with you... soon, I'll come to accept the fact that you're dead." Her cold tone slithering before she placed both of her hands in her pant pockets. "So hurry." Sonomi didn't know how long it was, but it was soon heard that both Lyra and Mihles had showed up to the spot she had specified. It was surprising that they hadn't seen her, but she didn't pay much mind to that fact as she hollered back towards them. "Yah! Over here." She said before looking back at the two of them with what was a faint smile that spread across her lips. The short girl was calmly standing in front of the water as she awaited the close presence of the two she called for - not like she was their master or anything of course. "I'm glad that you two showed up, it's been a while - yeah?" Sonomi began as she remained still, not really feeling the need to move as she heaved out a soft chuckle and nod towards the two. "I called you both here today because I wanted to help you get stronger. This isn't to say I'm as strong as Mercutio-san, but I want to help you both physically. It's what I've been praised for, by him." She continued as her smile was seen to be wiped from her face and her head facing towards the water once more. Sonomi let the cold breeze brush past her hair before letting her thoughts fill her mind, "I want the two of you to spar amongst each other. I will be observing and throwing curve balls where I deem fit - should you both choose to accept my offer." She finished before giving them an off look and a stern face.

Lyra was becoming more and more acclimated to human interaction, which honestly was scaring her because she knows how scary the world is. No one was really your friend, and everyone out for themselves. And for the most part this was still true even when so disconnected from society. And exhibit A was the man known as Mihles, who had a bit of a grumpy attitude as usual. The very few times she's seen him, this boy was a raging volcano of emotions, just tossing out his anger without any real care. It was at least a little respectable that he won't hide his true intentions, but it was still annoying as all hell. Especially as he called her desperate. Lyra at least had half a mind not to respond to that comment. Then a more familiar voice rang throughout the orange skies, with Sonomi standing a bit of a ways from where they were going to meet. The white and red dressed lass was standing on the shore, just barely out of reach of the ocean which was lapping in her direction. From beneath the mask, Lyra gently smiled at the one exemption from the rules of the world. Sonomi, though her own person, still was able to genuinely care and worry about others. Such a rarity nowadays. "H-Hey," Lyra waved back at her, speaking in a much calmer, nicer tone that what was used before, "Nice to see you too! Really has been, huh?" Musing that aloud, the mask wearer listened to Sonomi talk about how she was going to make them stronger? And it was revealed that she was even chosen for her strength by the Crimson Soul himself. "I've heard you beat the hell out of some sharks, but still it... it's still impressive." Lifting up a hand to scratch an itchy part of her cheek, she watched as Sonomi gave them the slow turn to face the sunset, before telling them what they were about to spar. "Spar? With Mihles?" With her hands in her own pockets, Lyra started to manipulate the paper she always carries on her person, sheets of paper storming right on out of her skirts and floating in a scattered formation around her own personage. Smirking from within her mask, Lyra had a cocky look in her eye as she was now finally able to show off what she can do to Sonomi. "I haven't been able to use my quirk that much, so I apologize that I'm not holding back Mihles. I'll try not to break your arm at least," Keeping her cocky attitude about her, her eyes watched Mihles like a hawk's. Watching and waiting for her time to strike. Letting the sun shimmer against her own floating paper which idly floated around the paper wielding woman. And with swiftness, Lyra gather paper around her shoulder area, letting it all conglomerate until it shot out around and in front of Miss Masterson like a sharp tentacle, aiming to jab into Mihles' own shoulder forcefully. |

Weasel would wright silently in his tab journal, keeping track of his payments made to Mercutio, as well as his earnings from views on the rights to the news station. His Lohas were set off behind him as he'd slowly rise up from the sand along the path near the news station where he'd usually lie to do bill work. Elysium had treated him well up until now, as it gave him much of what he'd ask for on a daily basis in Japan. Silence and great places to take photos. "Mister! Miii~ster! Big sis wants to see you as well, she said you might like it!" The older orphan said before the younger then spoke up. "Bring cam cam. It's party there." The younger orphan finished before rubbing their hands together." Weasel's eyes would light up. He hadn't been called for much of anything recently since his time arriving at the island, though this would make up very little for the lack of transportation that came with no longer having his volvo. "Oh, evening..Kids. Don't suppose you two'r givin' me a ride there ,eh?" At that, the boy would stretch and begin walking off in the direction they'd arrived from, making his way to this 'big sister' of theirs. "Sister?..An orphan? Oh well, I'll figure out when I get there." The boy would continue on, his camera held tight in his hands, and his head slightly tilted down. After a bit of walking, as well as periodically asking for guidencefrom the small children which was met with odd, short, and very inadequate responses, he'd arrive in the presence of the older sister of both of the orphans, a matter which still slightly confused him. |

As Mihles got closer to the masked girl, he was able to start seeing the look on her face. She was definitely unhappy, though whether it was unhappy because he was here or because of what he'd said he wasn't sure. Probably both. It wasn't like they'd ever actually gotten along, and in fact have butted heads more than they have played nice together. As Mihles watched her, it became clear Lyra had chosen some type of middle ground between confronting him and ignoring him, opting to simply make her distaste for him as obvious as humanly possible while not confronting him. Instead of being insulted, this reaction only brought a smirk to his face, he found it amusing that his insult was able to annoy her. It looked like she was getting ready to say something to him now, and he continued to stare at her, still portraying a smug look on his face. But then both were interrupted by the voice of another person. The cat-slippered girl whom they had come to meet. Sonomi. As could be expected, Lyra reacted by immediately sucking up to the white haired girl. The sheer predictability of it caused him to laugh out at her tauntingly. Are you sure you don't wanna try groveling as well? His tone had gotten meaner, instead of the half-hearted mocking from before this time it was dripping with venom and derision. After that, he turned to the white haired girl famous for her kitty slippers. And why the hell did you send tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumbass over there for us? He'd jerk his head in the direction of the two adorable kids in pikachu costumes. As she answered, he raised an eye at her claims at wanting to make them stronger. And has that cunt asked you to do this, or are you just doing this out of the goodness of your heart? It wasn't like he'd seen that one-armed fucker since he'd tried shooting him since he was always leaving the island. But that entire train of thought disappeared as she revealed the method she had planned to better them. She was going to make them fight. This time, both of his eyes raised as he looked at the small girl. It seemed that Lyra was also surprised by the sudden orders, repeating them Don't strain yourself luv. As for you... At this he'd turn to Sonomi. Why would I be interested in doing- Before he could finish his sentence, he'd see Lyra start readying herself in his peripheral vision. His annoyed face became more solemn as he sideglanced at the girl. ...Ah. Of fucking course. I guess I should have expected this from a hwran like you... Of course the girl that'd jump off a bridge for this white haired midget would follow her orders no questions asked. As the staredown commenced, her papers flittered from her dress to the air, just as they had in the Gala. In return, Mihles started to take off his gloves. As his original white svelt gloves had been destroyed in a tantrum, he was now wearing black fingerless gloves he had gotten from one of the merchant stalls on the island. Where the hell the merchants had come from he had no idea, but it had been convenient. He didn't take his eyes off the masked girl the entire time, or her still hovering papers, though he also didn't turn to face her, keeping his left side faced towards her as he continued watching by sideglancing. At her taunts he simply scoffed, even as she formed a paper tentacle that went straight at his newly-healed shoulder. He responded by calmly lifting his arm. You really are a cocky bitch. And then a blast of air would come out of his palm in an attempt to destroy and scatter the papers. He'd then turn to face her, and lift both arms towards her and hopefully any remaining papers in the air. You should learn your place. And then a much larger blast would come out, and Mihles would attempt to cut both Lyra and her papers to shreds with the high wind speeds while also sending her flying due to the sheer density of wind he shot out.
