Mercutio was only able to pay attention to the intrusion that occurred and it grew as an irritant in his head. If it was not for Goose-guy, Haru would of handily taken care of and Mercutio attempted a calm tone, but sound a bit flustered; the man was running on little to no sleep just the same as the orphans for a reason and it was finally taking a toll on him, his quirk that is. Without any time for his body to recharge and regenerate during, Mercutio could feel his bone structures weakness, and the familiar brittleness of his bones were beginning to set in. Mercutio wondered if it was going to be more of a challenge than he previously intended to handle this group of young ones. Between focusing on the Orphans and focusing on the U.A Internships, he was stretched thin. He simply didn't need other sources of irritation or lag. "Goose-guy, please, he said no. Let's see if he can take a hit, no?" he smirked, his pale eyes beginning to illuminate like an animals at night, but would gleam a scarlet, red light. Mercutio would use kinetic forces to move individual particles of sand in great mass to manifest a wave of wet, heavy sand from the ocean bed bellow. It raised through the porous structure of the lava rock below their feet. The sand would quickly envelope directly around Haru with a crimson glow to the sand. "Sand Coffin." he muttered like a character from one of his mangas in monotone. The sand would seemingly appear to ensnare and trap Haru, but it was actually the pressure created from the outer most aura of crimson energy. It would feel much like a hand ensnaring the boy, but not one hand only, but a n army of many. Mercutio would face the direction of the barely finished Hospital and took aim, "If you live, we will talk, but I doubt you'll be walking for a month or three. YEET" he meme'd, tossing Haru in his Sand Coffin towards the building. "Anyway, now that we can focus. Damn kids." he muttered, turning around, but not before a few people had already made a choice to go. It was an odd situation to say the least, but Mercutio methods were always out of the ordinary and most of the time extremely drastic. "You can speak now, won't matter if you have time or not if you don't have the raw ability." he mentioned, allowing them a few moments to gather thoughts and make agreements on whatever it was that needed to be agreed upon. "If it helps you, my Quirk is called, Crimson Soul. In short, I manipulate energy. Shouldn't be too bad though, I am blind and only have one arm." he mentioned, chuckling softly as the group gathered to speak amongst themselves. This would be a moment that Mercutio could use to take in each of the people he was about to fight. "Cute Dragon, okay. Something that looks like Female Alucard Level 0. Oh, and she can speak, oh never mind." he said in regards to the girls shrieking about living. The rest of you, all holding reserves and emotions still. "Makes sense." he muttered under his breath as his eyes widened. 'Already, eh? Is all you know how to do, fight?' he chuckled as his right arm sparked with crimson electricity. "Rai-HIKEN" he muttered taking a spinning swing counter clockwise for a wind up. In the short lived spin, Mercutio hand took flame and the electricity wrapped itself around it. Quick to finish this light misstep and actually start, he through his fist forward, pushing it out from underneath his Akatsuki cloak as a torrent of flames launched forward into an extremely large column of fire to meet the oncoming assault. The pillar stretched forward with multiple purposes, but the fire would aim to burn and destroy her goo, and the goo that she managed to save, would be electrified, chasing along through her goo like an electrical line before grounding out on her. It was a dual threat, and even then, the shocking force could very well freeze up her body, causing her to take an addition strike from the heated blast again. "Hey! I never said start, alright." he said with a roll of his shoulders and a pop or two of his neck as he stretched out side to side. His arm hide underneath his cloak once more, and he smiled to them all. "Now, now when you are all ready. Start as one because, you never want to die alone." he said ominously. Summary

Lei Kung had been silent for the last bit of time, ignoring everyone else around him. As his eyes were trained on the blind man before them, Lei's rage was slowly filling him. He was like a toy being played with, as the info bomb dropped on them was so jarring. That apparently the orphans who died earlier was just an illusion? The few that went through the illusion through that entirety had believed that they other orphans had died, yet the young chinese boy recognized a couple of the orphans that he swore had died. Thus the feelings of rage and confusion were swirling inside of his soul, as Lei was now questioning what was reality anymore. Was he still in a dream, or was he in reality? He can't even tell anymore. Before the boy could even act, some of the other orphans were quite literally charging at Mercutio. And, because they were being dumb and fighting tactlessly, they were swatted down like actual flies. And the man spoke once again, speaking in English, which meant that he probably wouldn't understand Lei. Out of all the languages Lei could have been taught by his mother, English was focused on much less than Japanese. Though, the boy was able to understand a majority of what was spoken, recognizing some specific phrases which were very anime oriented. And just like that, all hope was gone before him. Shattered, as fast as the man dealt with those boys. Where did Lei come off as being superior? This man, who just stated he was blind, and obviously had one arm, was able to deal with a bunch of shitty no name brats as if they were nothing. Shitty no name brats like Lei. Figuring out his place in this situation, Lei just turned and walked away. Ready to just give up, since he had no chance in hell in dealing with such a monstrosity. This Crimson Monster. Negan wasn't quite sure why the girl had rushed in like that. Couldn't she see that this man was on a completely other level than her? This was not a fight that could be won by yourself; no, everyone would have to team up to fight someone such as this. Negan took his sister by the hand and turned to the rest of the orphans. "You've all seen how powerful he is. You should all know by now that we have no chance against him by ourselves. However if we work together there's a chance we can make it out of this alive." He tried to speak confidently to the other kids, hoping that they might come to their senses and realize that this was their best chance at living. He wasn't exactly the best at public speaking and his speech wasn't all that inspirational but he hoped it did the trick. This wasn't about beating Mercutio; as far as Negan was concerned that was out of the question. This was about proving to him that they deserved to live. "We need to attack him all at once. Otherwise he's just going to annihilate us." Summary

After witnessing the so-called demon of the underworld vanish before Rolphs eyes he was left in the dark caverns with nothing, he didn’t understand what was going on nor did he know why it was all even happening to him but before he knew it Roplh was brought back to reality as he slowly opened his eyes to see the world before him, his squinted gaze looked around as his eyes had to adjust. “Rolph feels as if he were hit by the hat of discipline.” His left hand reached up to grab his forehead, the throbbing pain of a headache leaving him in a temporary groggy state while being left alone with his thoughts trying to make sense of the whole situation. Yet within a certain time limit Rolphs rest hadn’t lasted for long as himself and others were gathered round in-front of the man they last saw before even appearing at this place and he confirmed it that they weren’t dead but they could easily change should they chose to stay, it was almost too good to be true but there was conflict in Rolphs mind as he wanted revenge for the dishonour Mercutio had brought upon his family yet he was given the gift to fufil his own dream still of returning to old country someday. “Life has many doors Merc-boy, Rolph will not fight you this day as Rolph has his own dreams to achieve first, but maybe one day Rolph will challenge you to a duel just like in the days of old country so Rolph will leave this door closed for now.” Part of him wanted to stay and see what happened, he wasn’t exactly stupid either knowing full well that this probably was going to end badly and in all honesty part of Rolph was scared by what this person could possibly do, was it only a small fraction of his power that they saw or was it the whole thing but Rolph couldn’t be too sure. With that all said and done Rolph began to walk away from the developing scenes and walked a very good and safe distance away and silently watched, he wasn’t going to wander an unknown island on his own that was for sure. Processing the information with he departed with of the knowledge that Mercutio was blind, had one arm and a quirk called Crismon Soul, that made no sense to Rolph as it but even he would admit that it all seemed rather fitting. “One day Merc-boy, you will face the son of a shepherd.” Rolph quietly muttered to himself but as he suddenly heard the aftermath of the incident with one of the orphans as they got YEET’d away, Rolph began to quickly pick up the pace and exited the scene after all. Act 4: Orphans vs. Mercutio "It is the nature of all living things to find some being greater than themselves and place their trust in that being, following it blindly. In order to escape from the pressure of that trust, those beings seek a still greater entity in which to believe, and those greater beings too seek still greater, still stronger beings to follow. This is how all kings come to be, and this is how all Gods are born." His words echoed in her mind but she could not understand them. They were just noise, until... "Rai-HIKEN" Despite all his extra movements, his speed was just so much faster than anything she had ever seen. Up-close, despite him holding back himself, his movements were fluid, timed, disciplined and flowed like a scarlet river. She wasn't even a stone in the stream, she was a pebble at the mercy of its currents. All of her efforts, obliterated in one fell swoop, shocked was an apt description but didn't cover all of her emotions that she felt. She charged it not out of stupidity, but just through her only method of survival as to keep pushing through all of her boundaries. Yet, that was pure desolation. She had never seen power before. But she recognized it as the force blew and incinerated all of her ooze that she threw at him. She was running full force at him, but came to a halt and attempted to leap, away from the lightning that would immediately follow as it twirled and danced with the flames. She yanked her arms back, but a trail of electricity would strike at her fingertips running up along her elbow and shoulder. She would let out a howl as she grasped her arm, feeling the waves and slight convulsions as electricity kept sparking across her arm and would tingle throughout her body. She found herself blasted away with a torrent of elemental abilities, and slid across the sand back at the other orphans. Despite being one of the oldest, she was swiftly defeated. However she saw upclose that he was simply brushing her aside. He wasn't even serious as continued to kneel, with only a single arm holding her up while tendrils of electricity kept shocking her body. The crimson man said something else afterwards, not being able to understand all of it except for the last few words... "...-you never want to die alone." She began cursing at herself, "vilg...Vilg...VILG!" she yelped to herself as a singular fist slammed into the beach. Maya felt like a joke, she wasn't even worth his real power that she saw before the bright flash at the elections. She saw the rest of her slime away-s from her, still either being burned into ashes or electrified. She watched the fowl waddle off as her head lifted up with a golden glint. She caught Lei's slight glance, his poise was refined and he wasn't like the other orphans or even herself. However, he still looked soft until his face of resolve as brought upon his face. It was after that and he began to make his move that Maya kept her gaze along the young boy observing his maneuvers. Then one of the orphans from before spoke up. He was with Mercutio when she originally woke up. Maya's attention darted along the entire beach. She hadn't even realized Haru was gone. Then again though, he was wounded greatly and this was no longer child's play. The previous boy, was speaking gibberish at them, almost pleading but not necessarily attacking. She only picked up a word or two but could not figure out what he was actually saying. English was just not something that common in Africa. She attempted to rise up slightly attempting to recover her wits about her, while groling lightly to herself. She tried to remember his words before she dashed at him. OOC Information

Artemis turned baleful eyes towards Merc as he continued to address the orphans. 'Blind and only has one arm? Yet you can see us and have more strength in that one arm than all of us together, most likely' she thought. The little dragon doubted that they'd be able to win against Mercutio at all. But they were expected to try, and try she would. The main problem that was posed to the little dragon was the fact that she was very, very little. At only a foot tall (she rounds up), she could easily be squashed by her fellow combatants, let alone the person she was meant to be fighting. Her fighting style, if you could call it that, was more of a 'ambush from up high" than a 'charge across a beach'. Artemis needed to get up into the air, but the beach was devoid of anything that she thought could help her do that herself. Which left the other orphans. The little dragon eyed them up, wondering if any of them had a quirk that could help her achieve her lofty goal. A quirk to shoot her into the air would be best, since she could only glide. Artemis moved a bit closer to them and opened her mouth, trying to get them to look down at her so she could mime what she wanted. "Kree!" she squawked at them, a determined look in her arctic blue eyes. Artemis pointed at herself, and then jabbed a talon at the sky. She them beat her wings, kicking up sand but not lifting herself off of the ground. She stared intently at the other orphans, hoping that they understood what she was asking and that someone would launch her into the air. Preferably saying so first. Summary

Simple energy manipulation, blind, and he only had one arm? It was all utter bullshit, every word that the man uttered was shit. Derge had just watched Mercutio deal with two different orphans with three different elements. Fire, lightning, and sand. If what he said was true about energy manipulation that would explain two of the elements however it didn't really explain to Derge how he could use the sand the way he did. If it was energy, what kind of energy was he using to control matter the way he did? The only thing Derge could think of was it being some sort of potential or kinetic energy manipulation or control. He couldn't be certain and that uncertainty annoyed him. He needed more information, he would have to conduct a little experiment. Derge knew full well that Mercutio could see somehow. Sound, it like seemed like a logical enough conclusion. Derge had heard that some blind people could use sound to create a mental image of their surroundings, it was like a comic book character he had heard of. If he was right, his light attacks would be sure to hit Merc. Derge held out his arms and began forming orbs of light in his palms, launching them at the man that stood in the center of the orphans. He would continue shooting the weak orbs at the man until either they hit or he reacted to them. Summary

Gabrielle watched in horror as one of the other boys who already looked to be injured was carried up in a bed of sand by the man and subsequently sent flying. Before she could even process what had just happened another of her 'allies' was dealt with as well, the man having used some kind of fire and lightning combination to just blast through whatever attack she'd been attempting. She looked back at the man, fear in her eyes as she tried to figure out how to deal with the monster before her. She thought he'd said something about his quirk but didn't really understand it, her English skills not being very up to par. She did remember him saying that he was blind, but how could that be? Was he lying or was he using some other means of sensing where everybody was? If he didn't have traditional sight though, perhaps they could exploit that? Though any plan Gabrielle thought up didn't seem like it would do much good against the man. Well, they had to do something. Gabrielle was about to step forward when suddenly one of the other kids, who actually happened to be a little dragon, began making noises. "Quelle?" Gabrielle looked down to see the little reptile making weird motions as if it were trying to play charades with her. "You want me to throw you?" That's what it seemed to be saying anyways. Thinking it must have some kind of plan, Gabrielle knelt down and gently picked up the tiny dragon. Casting it a look of uncertainty, she reared back and threw it as hard as she could straight up into the air. Looking back down, Gabrielle saw that one of the other kids had decided to take action, jumping up into the air and flinging something at the man, though what it was Gabrielle could not see. Whatever it was, hopefully it would draw the man's attention. Taking advantage of his attack, Gabrielle held her hands out palms up in front of her and quickly formed a handful of pearlescent marbles out of ice. She then heaved them forward, spreading them all over the ground at their opponent's feet. Since the man was supposed to be blind, along with the distraction from the boy's actions, she hoped that he might step on it and slip, or at least catch him off guard and allow the others to go in. How many things were going on at the same time? Assalire couldn't begin to comprehend the amount of chaos going on with the entire bunch of orphans simply attempting to take their own route to victory; a couple albeit had chosen to stay away from this fight as a whole and were hoping to walk away from this scuffle that might end in their deaths. One boy who attempted to try something ended with mortal wounds in fatal areas, Mercutio was likely very tired of dealing with this one child if he simply went in for the kill already on that boy specifically and nobody else. Another girl who was slightly older than the boy, an African girl to be exact and she was oozing out some eerie goo-like substance from her body while trying to direct all of it at Mercutio. While it definitely looked interesting, why did she decide to attack before the man even said "Begin!"? It made no sense, but then again. The girl must be very, very angry with the man if she was that hellbent on attacking him this early. "Man. What a drag, and here I thought we had a chance." Assalire whispered to himself as he witnessed fluid motions that just by looking at the man, knew that he had been training for years on end to attain this type of bodily movement. Flexible, aimless, almost elegant in a sense when he attacked both the boy and the African girl. Still, that African girl had peaked his interest greatly for the amount of determination she had shown just a couple of moments ago. The teenage boy knowingly with his brash nature would catch up to the African girl and stop her if only for a brief moment so that she would be able to be reasoned with and hopefully work together. With his broken English, Assalire tried to communicate with her as briefly and hopefully, as concisely as possible. "We. Need. To. Work. Together. We can't... die alone." If this really had any effect on the African girl, Assalire would only hope that he wouldn't become her victim instead of Mercutio. "Man, if only this girl could speak French, or Italian. Life would have been so much simpler." The boy thought to himself. Summary

Mercutio’s display of power had brought life to Roland’s life. Roland was especially impressed as he considered the ability Mercutio used in manipulating sand something he could potentially do as well. It was similar to what he had used to end Glory’s life. The sight certainly did add to Roland’s admiration for the figure. With new-found vitalization as the chaos ensued from the eager orphans, Roland couldn’t help but feel disappointed in the fact that it seemed so little of them understood their current situation. Had they not witnessed what had transpired back in Africa? Had they not seen how easily he had handled the event’s entire population. If it were a simple slaughter Mercutio intended, they would have been dead already. The reason they were here and alive was because he had taken a particular interest in keeping them alive. If they’d have just gone through the same test of character and determination he just had, how could they be so eager and stupid to throw their lives away by charging at him with half-assed individual tactics? Roland had just killed someone in the search for purpose, had he been the only one to do so? They were clearly dealing with something out of their league. It was evident Crimsoul wanted to see something out of them, and it had to be shown under the ultimate duress of being threatened with death. “No, no, no, no--It’s all wrong!” Roland finally spoke, as if an artisan witnessing someone butcher an art form. Roland dropped down to a knee and dug his hands into the sand, his initial idea was attempting to freeform crystalize the multiple minerals that composed the sand around the other orphan’s feet and hopefully allow them to reset their attempt. But he knew good and well it was beyond his ability to immobilize them, at most he’d make them feel as though something was tugging on their feet not unlike gum at the bottom of their sole. Not enough… He lamented in his head, as a feeling of powerlessness washed over. It was that feeling of not being able to manifest the things he visualized because of power limitations that made him want to come out successful from Mercutio’s trials. Roland hesitated to act as he tried to take in the multiple fronts of their attacks. Dragon girl, icy projectiles, orbs, sweat, there was no unified purpose. There was no tactic or end goal, they were simply chipping away in hopes they would get lucky and something happened. Savages… Roland knew their only hope was in attacking at the same time, or strategizing towards a goal, but it would could only be worse if he did not act at all. It was better to follow a bad strategy than end up having to face Mercutio by himself after the rest of the Orphans died, or so was his reasoning. From his kneeling position and with his hands sticking on the sand, he’d attempt to create a stalagmite-type crystalline spike that would be raised from beneath Mercutio to impale him, testing to see just how blind he truly was. He’d have plenty to take care of from other angles and hoped his sneak attack would catch him unaware. Summary, Techniques, Enhancement & LP Edited by JustInTime, Dec 15 2017, 09:44 PM.

The meaning of Mercutio's words was brought to reality when one of the orphans were cast away, crashing into a nearby building. Seeing the man's raw strength once again was unsettling, to say the least. Thinking back to the illusions he had put them all in, and his stunt at the election, it seemed Mercutio's powers had no bounds. The group was lucky enough to have him explain what his quirk was, though not very in depth, the information was useful. Control energy? Demetri asked himself, trying to figure out exactly what this could entail. Another orphan attempted to attack Mercutio and was met with a swift response yet again. At this rate, they were all going to be picked off one by one. The group was going to have to coordinate themselves if they wanted to do anything substantial. Demetri looked to the other orphans, gauging their reaction to the events that were quickly unfolding in front of them. If Demetri was going to be able to do anything, he needed to figure out what wildlife was near. This island did not seem to be natural, making it difficult for Demetri to narrow down the possibilities, considering Mercutio made this island tailored to his needs. "You've all seen how powerful he is. You should all know by now that we have no chance against him by ourselves. However, if we work together there's a chance we can make it out of this alive." The voice of another boy caught the teen's ear. Looking to a pair of what seemed to be siblings holding hands, Demetri was glad to hear that someone was on the same page as him. The boy looked like he had his wits with him still, and was not letting the stress of the situation get to them–unlike some of the other participants. Approaching the two from behind, Demetri placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "It would be stupid of us to attack him straight up, even in a group. We need to create an opening and strike with precision." Demetri paused for a second to gauge the boy, and hopefully the girl's, reaction to his words. "I'm Demetri, my quirk is 'Pheromone Control'. I am able to release and take in chemicals that can affect other livings things, allowing me to command animals and alter the senses of humans." He had hoped for the pair of orphans to disclose their quirks in response to his confession. "We need to look at our options and form a plan around our abilities." summary

Energy manipulation? Guinevere wasn't sure exactly what that meant, but she saw sand possibly kill one of the children. She had no clue if he survived or not, but it was clear the one armed man before her didn't care in the slightest, he was truly a monster in her eyes. A terrifying one, watching as a woman charged at him, the man responding with not only fire but electricity in some kind of attack she'd never seen anything like. If some people were only just barely holding on to their nerves that would have likely done away with it. Some others hadn't lost their nerve, an impressive amount the peahen thought. But they were all children, even herself, most of them did not no combat and the ones that did likely did not know strategy. He gave them time to prepare and some of the others seemed to shout out to formulate a plan but...what exactly would work? They were all soon inexperienced and were here because this man slaughtered people who were older, more experienced than them in only a few moments. Whatever plan they could cook up, she doubt a coordinate strike would not simply be swatted away. It was terrifying, Guinevere met men who gave her fear when she was younger, before she ended up with her father, but this man... this man was just something else entirely. Glenn was afraid, obviously. How could you not be? But her anger overtook her fear, she saw another boy attack him. Doing anything as a team would be difficult, but Glenn saw an opportunity she might have been able to take. She dashed forward, trying to catch up and close in to the man while the other orphan kept him distracted. She tried to attack him from where he had no arm, trying to attack a crippled man while using a child as a distraction. It disgusted her, but she had to take every and any opportunity presented to her, she lifted her arm and swung it forward. swiping the wings at Merc in a attempt to stab him with the bladed feathers. Her hands tightened around her older brother's as she watched Mercutio entrap and send one of the orphans flying. The strange goop girl also had her quirk ignited. Why? Why did they try to get the drop on the man that could easily kill them if he wanted? The girl's breathes got shorter as others started to attack. "We need a plan." she muttered. Something felt off to the white-haired girl. He displayed his quirk so openly, but why tell them exactly what it could do? After his display, the Crimson Soul seemed unbeatable. Maybe working with some of the others would let them get a hit in or two. Negan was trying his best to get others to help, but most of the others were already leaping into battle. Except for one boy that had explained his quirk. He seemed normal enough, but could she trust him? "H-Hi I'm Rosa. Umm, I can stretch and stuff, but with all the others fighting I dunno if we have time." Rosa said in a quiet voice. Turning back to her brother the girl pointed her arms out to a side shakily. "Should we do this now Negan? I don't wanna fight without you. Please." |

The orphans would be separated into two halves ones who were scared, and those who were calm. However there was someone who was about to enter the fray willingly. Psychotic as that may be Ezekiel had made up his mind to go into this futile fight, and fight his heart out. "All of you fucking cowards either fight or get out of my way!" The boy would bellow as he jumped into the fighting stage . Though nothing special he landed and kicked up some dirt. "Mercutio!" he yelled his eyes locking with the demi gods. ""You might very well kill me, but ifI were afraid to die what kinda fuckin man would I be? " "SO lets have some fun!" Zeaks egs would ignite, and the crackle of lighting could be heard in the surrounding area. Zeak busted in a zig zag line towards him. "Show me Mercutio what does the apex of a man look like?" Zeak had excitement in his eyes. The adrenaline Junkie didn't care for any other person here just mercutio. The difference between them was immense Zeak knew that, but he also thought maybe to try and provide a distraction.
