Mercutio sits on the Isle of Mia taking deep, slow breaths while he embraced the light breeze that blew, tousling his cloak about, whipping in unison with his hair as the tidal winds swept through. He found himself lost in thought as he waited for the students to enter Kame House so he could transfer them to the island to start their internships. Screams filled his memory, the smell of burning flesh and the feeling of warm blood sprayed across his face from the people he laid to rest. The recent death toll was beyond what Mercutio ever imagined he would need to do. He felt like his way of living, his feelings and ideas were that of a monster in hindsight. "I'm not unfeeling..." he muttered out loud, cooing to himself in attempts to reassure himself that what he did was the right thing. "There was nothing to do... I made the best I could of a horrid situation... and that guilt allowed me to make a poor choice. I should never had agreed with Sonomi. I should of left her weeping, over emotional heart burden my choices. I should have killed these orphans along with their parents..." ... he muttered, but with every life he took, he could see the people he loved in his mind and the feeling of exasperation building to a point where he'd pop, and pop he did. Now, will a clouded concious, he thinks over and over the count of kills on his record.. and all for what? "I am making these kids deal with this out of what sick sense of justice? Balance? Is balance worth this bullshit anymore? Is this balance at all?" he asked, looking at the world and how easily it could tip. Before he did what he did in Africa, the World was already reaching a point of break, and Lucy disappeared so they were left with nothing but a burning ship. Slowly, as he calmed, he began to rationalize it all again. "I did what was for the good of more than the few who died... this children are causalities of peace." he muttered as he rolled a pair of dice in front of himself, "Plus, the dice always read the same." he said, counting out five. "Fate has it that some will live, and if this children are to bring upon our World's psudeo-Peace, than it is what it is... I don't control what happens, I need to stay in my place and perfect balance." he angrily barked as his aura spun around him like a violent hurricane. Sand tore up into the air as Kame House reappeared behind him and he quickly gathered his composure. "Otherwise, I am no better than Oni." he growled with irritation. "Big Brother! I did it! I taught myself that song!" "Oi, you Crimson Freak. Let's have a drink, eh?" "Your quirk is amazing, my little Prince." "Why are we leaving Japan?" "Dad, I won't let your name go as a whisper into the dark." "You were in a car accident, you are lucky to be alive." "I will always protect you; I promise." "WE ARE THE SAME!" Mercutio sat lazily, back to the group as the door would open up and he would speak as he muttered past a joint, "First things, first. Name, and reason you want to be here. I am not some flashy organization, so I am interested why I was chosen over your other offers among other things?" he said, standing from his sitting position in the sand. "I am Crimsoul, but you can all call me Mercutio." he muttered with a smile before turning to Jack, "Have you come for another flying lesson?" he asked jokingly before giving a soft bow to the general populous. "The other Suos, very interesting that all of you are here. I have your better halves elsewhere right now." he laughed before turning to Kaito and off-handily muttering something about fighting him, "Nothing for you to grab here. You are actually gonna have to fight." he cracked, floating in air down the line of people. "Shigero, you are an unknown. You have the most to prove." he said as if they knew what they were needing to "prove". He waited for their questions and such and would answer them accordingly as a tea cup with deliciousness filled to the brim drifted out. "I usually have my interns fight me the first day they show up. I suggest you prepare to start there." |

Oh, what kind of hell did I sign up for this time... This was the main thought that went through Jack's head as the intern group headed down to Mercutio's weird island country. Of course, he'd been wondering that the moment he decided to sign up for Mercutio's internship, but it became more prominent when he saw Sumiye there. Of course the one person he would have any beef with would have to choose the same guy. Of course, he was going to respect what he had said before and keep his distance when he could, but...the moment Jack found out she was coming along, the memory of their first class played over and over in his head. The primary thing that bugged him back then was that she wouldn't even try to even get along with him, even though he didn't really do anything wrong to her. Oh, well. There was no point in worrying about it now. All he had to do was keep his distance when he could. He could pull that off...right? He also noticed that her brother Shinjiro had also signed up for this internship as well. Jack didn't really know the guy too well, but he could only really hope that at least they would get along. Unless he was like his sister, as well. Then things were just going to get annoying very quickly. At least, more than he already figured that they may be. He had his fingers mentally crossed. He also took note of Kaito as well, but, as with Shinjiro, he didn't know the guy all that well. He had the same hope that he wouldn't be difficult as well. However, his one saving grace was probably Shigero. His watery friend was one of the bigger reasons that he had decided to join this particular internships, but that reason was mostly outshadowed by his own personal reasons. Though, Jack was definitely grateful that he at least had a friend along for the ride, especially if things got hairy for whatever reason. Though, of course, it's not like there'd be any real situation where they might die...right? Jack honestly wasn't sure, to be honest. His last few encounters with 'Crimsoul' were...definitely something, to say the least. Speaking of which, before the boat that the students were on reached the island, he cleared his throat, hoping to get everyone's attention. "Erm, heya, guys. Um...I'm Jack, for those who don't know me, though I think most of you do? Um, in any case...I just want to say a bit of a warning before we start this thing," he said, turning his head, to make eye contact with everyone, just to make sure they were at least listening. "The guy we're interning under, Mercutio...I'm just going to be blunt. The guy's unpredictable. I honestly had no idea he was even taking interns before I got the offer. I don't know what the guy's motives are, but...just, watch your back. I'm sure he wouldn't put us in any situation where we might die, but...it never hurts to be careful. That's all I have to say." With that, he simply looked out into the horizon, where the islands were starting to come into view. He honestly hoped that the others would listen to his warning, but he at least felt more comfortable knowing that he did what he could for whatever they were about to get into. -------------------------------------------------------------------- A little while, later, when they reached the island, Jack happily jumped out of the boat, stretching out his arms and legs as he landed on the soft sand. His clothing was...definitely strange, at least for going onto a tropical island. He wore his usual attire, with his hoodie with the fur hood, which was zipped up for once, along with his black jeans and his sneakers. A tiny blue flame blazed on top of his ahoge on his fluffy, white hair.. All of these together almost literally screamed 'HEAT'. To most people's surprise, they would find that he looked quite comfortable, actually. Before Jack learned how to turn his Pyrokin 'off', he was almost always dealing with heat, especially in the hottest conditions in Texas. His body, at this point, was more than used to the intense heat. He felt quite comfy with the scorching hot sun, his Quirk on, and his fluffy hoodie acting as a bit of a blanket. It was no wonder that he usually seemed pretty happy. Once everyone was off the boat and got situation to their surroundings, Jack promptly made his way with the others to the bright pink house that was situation in the middle of the island. Jack took a bit of a deep breath as he knocked and opened the door, and stepped inside with the others. The first thing that hit him was the smell. Oh, dear God, what is that??? he thought, coughing a bit but mostly keeping his composure. Was that...weed?? Ugh. He hoped that they wouldn't spend too much time inside the house. Otherwise he might get a headache. Mercutio, who was laying down before, promptly sat up, his back to the group. He spoke past the joint that was in his mouth, stating simply "First things, first. Name, and reason you want to be here. I am not some flashy organization, so I am interested why I was chosen over your other offers among other things?" before properly introducing himself. His turned to Jack first, asking him if he was there for more flight lessons. Oh, god dammit... he thought immediately, getting the joke. He rubbed his arm as he remembered the last time he was here, but stopped about a second later. No point in remembering this now. Though, as he did remember, he couldn't help but let a bit of a grin form on his face. He's changed a lot sense then, and remembering how he was back then, he couldn't help but be at least a little amused by it. After Mercutio made his other little quips to the others, Jack waiting for a split second, to see if anyone else would speak up. If not, he would slightly step forwards, his hands in his hoodie pockets. "Um, I'm Jack. Jack Orion. But, ah, you might've already known that. I'm here because, in all honesty, I felt like I could get the most out of this internship compared to my other offer. I mean, I'm not the biggest on combat, but, y'know..." He scratched the back of his head, looking a bit embarrassed as he thought about how ironic it was that he, a fire user, wasn't the biggest fan of fighting as a solution. "I just feel I could learn something useful here about how I want to go about things. As for my own question, well...why me?" He finished, looking a bit of a mixture of confused and curious. "I mean, the first time we met, you saved me from, what was his name...Kull, right? Then the second time, as you implied, you kinda flung me off the island. Why are you interested in me now?" There was no malice or anger in his voice, but simply curiousity. After all, to him, it was strange that he now decided to take him up with the others and train him, but...why? Jack would wait for Mercutio's response, then he would promptly listen to what everyone else had to say. Edited by TheInfernoZX, Dec 5 2017, 02:37 AM.

For once, Shigero had actually slept well. Well, not really, but he had caught up on the sleep he'd lost the night prior to the ocean trip. Falling asleep on the ship had been surprisingly easy, the sounds of ocean around the ship acting as calming ambiance during his nap, taking up the majority of the trip. It wasn't often that Shigero felt ready to get up when his alarm went off, and though the heavy gray lines under his eyes were far from disappearing, he was in better shape than usual. Picking up the backpack he'd unceremoniously used as a pillow, he set off to the rest. Internship time. Even after every bit of research he'd done, he had no idea of what to expect here. He'd heard just a bit from Jack about Mercutio, but for the most part he was still completely in the dark. It did add to the element of mystery that drew him in in the first place, so he was more curious than anxious. The rest of his group was a bit of a mixed bag, but he had a contact to fall back on if all else failed. Jack was a good safeguard in the event of total social failure, but he'd try to interact with the others a bit. Especially seeing as he still felt he needed to get a better grip on what happened during the museum trip, Sumiye was on the top of that list. Sumiye seemed like an interesting case at first glance, an introvert with horrible trust issues and a very aggressive response if what happened to his firebending friend was anything to go by. But again, he couldn't go by that alone. It was too situational and he didn't see all of it, so he'd just try for himself in a bit. She seemed to get along well with the others around her back then, too, so there was definitely some way to get through those presumed iron defenses. Her brother was similar, if a bit quieter. Shigero didn't have much of a reason to approach him, but he still might at some point just because. What was more interesting was that Shinjiro and his sister both got an invitation to Elysium. They probably had a connection to the office, if it was the both of them included in the small list of invitations. Kaito was also present on the boat, the last addition to the motley crew. Despite some lingering fragments of resentment from the memory of his defeat during the Sports Festival, there actually wasn't much he knew about his telekinetic classmate. The guy wore a mask without a word for the entire duration of the match, making the only real possible conclusion something like the one he'd reached on the Suo's, namely introverted. He did seem like he might be a good guy to talk to, if he got to it. As Jack turned to the group, he caught Shigero's attention as intended, and the warning was welcome. It sounded like what he'd said back in the dorms, but with more focus on the unpredictability of their host. The fact they needed a warning at all was telling enough, he'd definitely keep his eyes open. He sent a quick nod Jack's way, before turning back away, awaiting their arrival. Upon finally reaching the sandy shore of Elysium, Shigero walked off the ship, looking around the island. He was dressed appropriately for the hot weather, wearing a black windbreaker over a simple T-shirt. Underneath were some comfortable sweatpants and a pair of unimpressive sneakers. It was all topped off with his usual hairdo, something akin to an explosion of purple strands sticking out in every direction. It was quite precisely constructed with a large amount of hairgel and -spray, and as such wasn't affected by the rather strong ocean winds too radically. The small pink cottage standing alone in the middle of the landmass was their destination, as he followed after Jack. The door was soon open, and it wasn't hard to notice someone had been injecting some marijuanas. Low-quality joke aside, the smell wasn't that bad, far better than tobacco smoke in any case. And right there in the middle of it, was the man himself. Mercutio, immediately rising up, addressed the group as he went along the line. Was Shigero the only one who hadn't met him before? That was some food for thought. If the rest was here because of their previous experiences, what was the enigmatic Crimsoul's reasoning behind inviting him? He was even told he still had to prove himself, though the specifics of what he had to prove himself in were left vague. "I'm Shigero Kado, nice to meet you," he said, getting the easy part out of the way. "I'm here specifically because you're not some flashy organization, and that was what made you stand out. The rest of my offers were clean-cut, but this one I barely knew anything about. So, you could sum it up by saying I was curious. Someone this famous yet mysterious has to have some interesting things to teach, as well." Now, the internship was kicking off. The mention of a fight instantly gained Shigero's attention, even if he'd have to work together with the others. If it was all five of them, it should be a good fight. There was one thing he did need to know, though. "What's his quirk?" he asked the rest of the students there. Mercutio's quirk was apparently a closely guarded secret, but seeing as everyone else here had met the man before they might know more than him. |

This was it. The starting point of a new chapter of her life. As Sumiye walked alongside her brother towards the mysterious island that was home to Elysium- and more importantly, Mercutio D. Regalis- butterflies were fluttering in her stomach in anticipation. Ever since the talk of internships that the Suo had had in the Common Room with her makeshift team of hopefuls, the only thing that had been on her mind was the set date that she would head to this very spot. Countless hours of research and preparation had led to to this point, and she was sure to leave her mark on her Sensei and the challenges she would face here! There were plenty of doubts in Sumiye's mind, but still kept herself as reserved and stone-faced as possible. The only indication that the girl was mentally doubled over with stress was the hand that clutched onto the bottom of Shinjiro's shirt. It felt nostalgic to do so- holding onto her older brother for dear life in the hopes that he'd protect her in any way he could. And he had, every step of the way. But even this was something he couldn't protect her from. Sumiye's own growth was rapid, her mind twisting and contorting to someone barely recongnizable from who she was just only a year ago. It felt as if so much time had gone by, seasons passing more like days. Her stubborness to reach her peak potential was something she grew impatient with with each passing second. Speaking of bull-headed teenagers, the raven-haired girl had indeed noticed Jack as he walked with the group. Though she did her best to put what happened behind her and keep moving on past him, it would be rather hard when he was legitimately right there. Not to mention that the rest of the company that she would have during her time at Elysium was lackluster as well- Jack's nosey friend Shigero and Kaito Kanzaki himself. Breathing a heavy sigh, Sumiye walked through the doors to what was sure to be an avid learning experience and was met with the man of the hour himself. Crimsoul spoke up, standing to his full height with a smile. Even if the curve of his lips were meant to be welcoming, the youngest Suo felt anything but. A famous hero had scouted her, and yet there was something chaotic about the way he carried himself. And it was this very feeling that urged her to accept his offer. An acute feeling of dread, one that she wanted desperately to mimic. The runt of the litter was tired of being what she was- weak and easily shaken to the large world around her. And now, as she stood in the same room as Mercutio, the hunger for strength grew unbearable. It was so close that the girl could taste it on her lips, which curved into a a faint smirk as he went around to say his piece to everyone. "The other Suos, very interesting that all of you are here. I have your better halves elsewhere right now." And, just like that, the feeling was gone. The sudden and fleet surge was only replaced with a quickly formed hole. It felt as if the words had shot straight through her lungs, the confidence that she oozed quickly sputtering and gripping Shinjiro's shirt in her fist,"What... what do you mean better halves?" The words poured out on their own, questioning the man before her,"Do you mean to tell me that... that S-Satoshi and-" Sumiye managed to stop herself before uttering her sister's name, stepping back before she spoke another word. It was outbursts like these, ones that were formed by the people who shaped her, that needed to stop. She'd gone too soft, lost all sort of composure she once had. It would all stop here. It had to. Sumiye, slowly, released her brother's shirt from her grasp. Her fingers were stiff and ached, but she still clenched her fist at her side. "My name is Sumiye Suo. I wish to be stronger to protect the ones I cherish, the ones that I will live and die for." Her mind went to Sonomi first, then to the two leading males in her life. It was Isamu's warm smile that led her to this moment, Gale's support lifting her spirits when she needed it. Thanking all three of them to herself, she looked on to Crimsoul,"And, forgive me if this is out of line, but if fighting you will get me closer to seeing her again-" "-then I will perservere through whatever you throw at me. I will see my sister again." |

It was the day of their internships and Shinjiro was surprised to find he wasn't as nervous as he thought he'd be. The Entrance Exam, The first day of school, Midterms, The Sports Festival, Shinjiro had always thought these events would get easier but every time he felt as nervous as he did that first day at the Entrance Exams always a bundle of nerves. Except for this time, this time it was his choice he wanted to be here and anything that happened was a result of that choice. That brought a strange form of comfort for Shinjiro he wasn't doing this for a teacher or for someone else this was something he was doing for himself. That wasn't to say Shinjiro was completely nerve-free he still had no idea what to expect from this office or their instructor but at least he was able to think about more than the impending event. Arriving at the isle the atmosphere of this tropical island was quite different from what Shinjiro was used to, it almost felt closer to being on the boat than even being on the beaches of Tatooin. It wasn't long before he felt a tug on the back of his shirt. Though Shinjiro knew what it meant when she did that he couldn't help but get a feeling of nostalgia from it. Though he didn't want to bring too much attention to it Shinjiro did turn to give Sumiye a reassuring smile. Maybe he wasn't right when he said he was doing this for himself. Shinjiro took this moment to look over the people he'd be with for the internship. It felt like quite a few people for an office he hadn't heard much about before receiving his invite. He only really knew 1 person besides his sister here which was Kaito, this was the second year they'd been in class together. Though he couldn't say they were friends he didn't mind working with him it had gone well the past few times they had. Besides that there was Shigero who he really didn't know much about and Jack who he didn't know much about besides what he had heard from Sumiye. Though he didn't like to judge people before and that he knew Sumiye was likely biased, Shinjiro couldn't help but not have the best opinion of the boy for having upset Shinjiro's sister. He knew it wasn't fair of him but it also wasn't as if he could just stop how he felt. Jack seemed to know whoever was interning beforehand and offered a warning before they entered the house. Shinjiro did appreciate the warning at least it was a nice gesture. Shinjiro wasn't sure how dangerous someone UA let intern students could be, there was always danger with these kinds of things and Shinjiro wasn't quite sure why someone would intern with someone they didn't trust. Entering the house Shinjiro listened to what Mercutio had to say to the group. "The other Suos, very interesting that all of you are here. I have your better halves elsewhere right now." after this anything else Mercutio had said was lost to Shinjiro. Shinjiro was both relieved and excited by this news. They're okay and they're here. His siblings were safe and he could see them again. What surprised him more than the news that his siblings were here was Sumiye's sudden outburst, Shinjiro couldn't remember the last time Sumiye had lost her cool. It at least showed she was opening up to people and Shinjiro couldn't help but feel a little proud of her having grown. Sumiye's outburst had shaken him out of his thoughts for the most part so Shinjiro could give his piece. "I... well I guess I'm here for similar reasons to the others, I wasn't worried about flashiness or anything like that. I just felt this is the internship that would be best for me." He hoped that would answer Mercutio's question. Shinjiro wasn't too suprised that Mercutio wanted to test them by fighting them in fact, this was along the lines of what he wanted from the internship. He just hoped he was ready for it. |

𝕱inally, after many months the time was finally here. Whether it be his first and last time to meet the man that so easily dispatched him mattered not, but Kaito was ready to look this man in the face again. He knew that he was still nowhere near the man’s level of strength but he wanted to see the one who he was aiming to eventually rematch. It was this feeling that kept Kaito punctual. Whether it was by air or sea, Kaito would be at the appointed destination of their travel and immediately recognized many of the faces there. Of course, the obvious set of siblings were there, however he wasn’t able to actually speak to them like he intended previously during their trip to the museum. Instead he actually got shut down by Sumiye. Not like it mattered to him, he’d eventually get the information himself through study and observation. Twas only a matter of time. Next was the one he had fought during the sports festival, Shigero. While Kaito did come out on top, the boy had given him a better understanding of his own body's limitations. It confirmed that his training on strengthening the parts of himself that were the weakest was indeed a good decision. It was one of the more entertaining experiences in UA. Jack was the final individual and one of which he only seldom had any interactions with. Even though this was the case, Kaito’s memory was sharp and he remembered him from both the sports festival and the entrance exam. During the trip to Elysium however, Kaito remained quiet. He was steeling himself mentally for whatever would come his way. Therefore during their trip there he spoke to no one. Not that he would have anything to really say to them at that time. It was once they stepped onto the place itself that what felt like sparks surge through him. He was here, finally going to see the man again face to face. Once the doors opened, the thick stench of cannabis assaulted his nostrils. While it didn’t exactly bother him it was still surprising. Nonetheless the man himself spoke up almost immediately, seemed like he didn’t really want to deal with them at the current moment. The introduction was immediate “First things, first. Name, and reason you want to be here. I am not some flashy organization, so I am interested why I was chosen over your other offers among other things?“ Although Kaito didn’t answer immediately, neither did any others they waited for him to finish speaking before daring to answer his inquiry. “Nothing for you to grab here. You are actually gonna have to fight.“ That little quip was of course directed at him. Kaito deduced that since he had a little comment that was directed at most of the people here, that he had met or affected the lives of each person here in some way. Seemed like the hands of fate had brought them here for some odd purpose. “I usually have my interns fight me the first day they show up. I suggest you prepare to start there.“ When Kaito listened to how he typically fought his interns on Day 1, and this immediately brought him back to the day when he faced him during the World Tournament. Perhaps this was an ominous warning of a repeat but he had gotten stronger since that day, and so long as he drew breath he’d become stronger still until he would eventually be able to challenged the man before him in thrilling combat that wouldn’t be as one sided as it would normally be. Kaito waited for the others to get their words in. Even more amusing was how he mentioned the other Suo siblings to which Kaito could not contain himself and chuckled at the thought. “Ha ha ha! You speak of Sonomi? What a small world. No wonder she is as strong as she is when I met her a few months ago.” he explained before the doors behind him shot themselves open and his hair whipped about due to his telekinesis rushing about. Iridescent energy whipping this way and that. He’d be lifted a few inches off the ground before he took an earthless step forward “ I had a feeling that people who meet you fall into two categories. They either die, or they become stronger. Which will it be this time? Will I perish or will I be able to grow as I did before? If Sonomi is truly here then I can’t die before at least see her again. I quite enjoyed our time together, if I vanished without a goodbye that’d be rather rude of me.” He added before taking a bow, mustering all the emotion he had in him that threatened to explode. The culmination of this moment was thrilling of its own. “I am Kaito Kanzaki. The boy you easily dispatched in the tournament. The boy you convinced to simply try to stand and fight. My reason for being here?..” He paused for a moment and raised his head to look Mercutio in the face. The atmosphere clearly meant that he wanted to indulge Mercutio’s combat request, and that he’d continue to try until his final breath. “𝕴𝖘 𝖄𝖔𝖚” |

How long had it been since she'd last seen her sister? How long had it been since she'd last seen her friend, Kaito? Her brother, Shinjiro? Ever since she met Mercutio, things just haven't been the same for the girl. Especially after the two major events of the Gala and the African Elections. "Far too long..." Sonomi said under her breath as she was about ten meters out from behind them, only being able to see the back of their bodies and hear only the slight sounds of their voices. One would think Sonomi should of been head over heels for the girl who stood just a way in front of her, Sumiye. She couldn't be, not after what she'd done since last time they've seen each other. "Test them". Those were the words that she heard from Mercutio prior to the internships and then arriving on the island they stood on now. Mercutio had instructed that she was to use her quirk on them just before they began their fight - she of course, didn't have any objections to this considering the idea of hand to hand combat was something she enjoyed watching. She'd just hope that she was able to escape the scene or keep in time with moving behind them so as to not draw attention to herself. The last thing she really wanted was for her siblings and friend to lose focus on the battle at hand, especially Sumiye knowing how she felt last time they met. Why her sister and brother chose Elysium was none of her concern, but it was apparent that the girl was confused upon seeing a tiny boy with white short hair show up. The boy wasn't THAT short, but the way he was presenting himself from what she could see did give her more than a hearty chuckle. "I guess I'll try this out..." She mumbled once more from underneath her breath before stretching one last time and looking over towards Sumiye and Kaito. "Just like in training.." The girl finished before a bright glow emitted from her eyes and honed in on the two people she was the most familiar with. The boy, Kaito, would feel that his levitation even if it was small - should completely cease to function as his feet would collide with the sand at an abrupt time. It was about the equivalent of an EMP grenade being shot off towards him as he couldn't even attempt to lift himself back off of the ground like he did prior - he was stuck. For Sumiye, her ability to produce light and create items such as her hoverboard just simply wouldn't appear for the unfortunate girl. She was just as helpless as Kaito was in their situation, and all Sonomi could do was keep her eyes on them and try to remain agile as she'd hoped it was a cue for Mercutio to move in on the 'marked' targets. Mercutio would look to Kaito and say, "I'm blind, not suffering from Alzheimer's. I remember you." he barked sharply, cutting him off and began to speak to the Suo's, "She is watching you right now. I think it's probably best to start the lesson here. Subdue me by any means with however much force as you deem necessary." he chuckled as the shift in Sumiye's aura indicated Sonomi had activated her quirk. That girl would be a great someday if she let herself, and Mercutio already knew it, if he could just break her shell. It was his hope that today would be another step forward with that as well as with his interns. After having no one make an attempt at him, or even seemingly attempt to prepare, he decided his next actions rather easily. Reaching out with his hand, he pulled his cloak free to reveal his body and missing arm. Taking advantage of his speed, he whipped his cloak at Kaito in attempts to wrap him in it around the head. This was to gain leverage would immediately spin regardless if anything came of it, because his rotation held more than one reason. He'd let Kaito or the jacket fly towards Jack as he spoke more, giving his teaching advice. "Every action must have more than one intention." he muttered, attempting to kick of Kaito's chest to propel himself forward, but would cushion or rather use his Geppou ability to do so. His dash went right for Sumiye. His feet took flame and he spun in air quickly as he rapidly built up speed before coming down hard with a flaming heel strike. "DIABLE JAMBLE!" he yelled, not letting up on his kick more than he would need too, taking into account the heat to be more just look than anything else. ![]() Fire would expand in a grandiose fashion that would be purely for effect, almost purely... the kick would send her to the ocean easily. He would laugh and look around, not touching the beach with his bare feet, "Come on, HEROES. I've just committed assault." he laughed, giving the sign to Sonomi to switch targets. "Show me what you can do before I test how well you take a hit, hmm?" |

Jack partially frowned as he didn't get much of a response for his question, but still stood respectfully as everyone else gave their own personal reasons for being here. Shigero went first, stating that he was here because of the fact that this place wasn't flashy or well known, something that Jack agreed with entirely. The only real purpose of the internships is to get something worthwhile out of it, and, while it's a risk, he felt that they could get the most out of this. Then Sumiye gave her own response, stating that she primarily wanted to get stronger to protect those she loved. A respectable reason, for sure. However, Jack couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the response, remembering how cold she was when they first properly met, even though they didn't even know each other. Of course, that was likely all a shell and there was a warmer person underneith, but until Jack has seen that side of her for himself, he can't help but wonder. Shinjiro went next, his reasonings fairly simple, the same as both Jack and Shigero. There wasn't too much to make out of that except that they likely thought similarly, which made him think that if they properly met they would get along. Jack made a bit of a mental note to talk with him later. Then...came Kaito. Jack would be lying if he said that something about the boy didn't bug him. His eyes narrowed at the way he spoke, like he was some enthusiastic person from the medieval times, or something. Jack didn't know if this was all just a front or if this is how the masked boy was like 24/7. He may have to talk with him more later to find out. He also had to admit, he was surprised to find out that Mercutio actually went blind since the last time Jack saw him. He wondered what happened, but decided that it was likely a story for another time. Jack's eye partially twitched, however, when Kaito exclaimed that the reason he was here was because of Mercutio himself, who bested him originally in that one World Tournament. With Sumiye, Jack wasn't really at all surprised at the way she talked to Mercutio. If anything, he respected it, as she showed her passion for her family with that statement. However, Kaito's was an overall base-less challenge, which told him that the boy completely ignored his warning on the boat. The thought agitated him, but Mercutio didn't seem to take much offense from it, though he did bark that he remembered the boy. It was his next quote that got him wondering. 'She's watching you now.' From what Sumiye had mentioned eariler, Jack assumed that Mercutio was talking about the two Suos' sister. He partially wondered what that meant. He shrugged it off, deciding that it was none of his business. Though, he WAS partially curious about what the other Suos were like...he supposed he would find out soon enough. And with that, practically out of nowhere, the lesson began. Mercutio tossed aside his coat, flinging it at Kaito, attempting to wrap it around his head. "Every action must have more than one intention," Mercutio stated, likely his first words of wisdom for the students. He then immediately jumped right at Kaito, kicking at his chest, then propelling himself forwards at Sumiye, kicking her with a foot full of...fire? Either Mercutio somehow also controlled fire or it was all some kind of effect. Jack honestly had no idea. It all happened so fast, and before Jack knew it, Mercutio's attack would send Sumiye flying. Jack blinked, taking this all in. He wanted to go and help her, but...judging by her overall pride and the point she made about being here, she likely wouldn't appriciate it. As much as it pained him to do it, he had to let this one go. He returned his attention to Mercutio, who was now hovering in midair. "Come on, HEROES. I've just committed assault," he mocked, making some weird gesture while he said it. He was clearly up to something, but it was hard to determine what. "Show me what you can do before I test how well you take a hit, hmm?" "Well, this went from 0 to 100 really quick..." Jack muttered, taking off his hoodie and throwing it aside. He wasted a second trying to figure out what to do, before deciding to go the physical route on this one. He was hoping to save it for another occassion, but...well, no time like the present. Jack closed his eyes for a moment, letting little embers of various colors fly up from his arms and his shins. Then, he quickly re-opened them, and flames roared across his arms, legs, shoulder blades, and, if one looked closely, little embers of various colors would emerge from the corners of his eyes, flying off and disappearing after a second. The air around him would become hotter, as he was radiating a lot of heat. He then stumbled a bit, clearly not used to using whatever he just used. "Ok, REALLY need to start using this more often," he said, shaking off the unusual feeling, opening and closing his hands to get a better feeling of this. He then glanced at both Shigero and Shinjiro, hoping they would get the message. If they did, he would charge forward with them, mostly trying to think of a proper plan as they did. Usually, losing an arm and going blind would be a hinderance for most people, but Jack had a bad feeling that this wouldn't go well no matter what. They at least had to try, though. Jack would feint a left blow at Mercutio, then immediately attmept to get behind him and go for a kick to his side. It likely wouldn't be successful, in which case he was more than prepared to fire a fireball in his face to distract him. If none of that worked, then Jack would at least try to go with whatever plan either Shigero or Shinjiro came up with. He just hoped Mercutio wouldn't accidentally kill them... "She's..." Sumiye's disbelief caused her words to trail off, the thought of Sonomi watching over her in this fight like a guardian angel filling her with anxiety. Just standing in the midst of a titan such as Crimsoul was enough to send chills down her spine. But, hearing that the person she'd searched all of Japan for was there, observing Sumiye so closely? That terrified her. Even if that fear threatened to paralyze her, Sumiye still persevered, bending her knees slightly and preparing for whatever it was that Mercutio had planned. It was unlike her to have a plan of attack, instead extending her fingers out to form the claws that glowed to familiarly on her hands. The ten talons that had carried her through training, combat simulations, and even U.A. were her weapon- a weapon that relied solely on her own strength. She didn't need Isamu's petals, or Hiroko's clones to make it work. They were her own. And yet, they didn't appear. The first instance felt like it was just an accident on her part. Perhaps she hadn't focused enough, or moved her fingers the right way to conduct the light around them. But the second time didn't work. Or the third. At this point, panic was starting to set in. Her breathing quickened as she stared down at her hands, waving them around frantically to try and do anything. The control over light she wielded was gone, replaced only by a sinking feeling in her stomach. As if she was stuck in quicksand, destined to keep sinking until the dread crushed her,"Shinjiro... my Quirk-" "Every action must have more than one intention." In the middle of a call for help to her brother, Crimsoul spoke up. Sumiye only had time to look up and shoddily block before his leg met with her left arm. She hadn't quite learned from the last time when Hiroko snapped her forearm like a twig from a trio of kicks, but her body moved on instinct now that her Quirk had disappeared. It was a blinding attack, one that she didn't expect to be quite so bright. Hell, she hadn't expected it at all. It was her own fault for dropping her guard, letting her feelings get the best of her as she tried to desperately use her Quirk. The youngest Suo felt no pain in that moment. Though her arm took the attack, the shock was negating the pain for now. What the shock didn't negate, however, was the flying part. Just one kick from the Pro Hero had sent her soaring toward the ocean they had crossed to get to this moment, and Sumiye was making both physical and emotional steps back. Everything felt like it was moving in slow motion. The force whipping her hair forward and into her face, the company she arrived with becoming smaller and smaller with each passing millisecond. Just as she would make the impact, a glimpse of silky white hair would catch her eye. In all her life, there were only two people close to her that possessed such beautiful, snow-white locks. Sumiye's mind first went to Isamu before- "So-" The first bit of her sister's name came out before she hit the water, the air being knocked clear out of her lungs. It was as if she had landed on cement more than liquid, sinking into the salty water that Crimsoul had sentenced her to. Water wouldn't have time to fill her mouth, nose, or lungs as she was quick to rise up to the top, the shore just a few meters off from where she landed. She was lucky to not have landed in shallow water, but definitely didn't see it that way. Swimming and then wading through the water to shore, Sumiye glanced down at her left and dominant arm. The pain was slowly creeping up, growing gradually as the time passed. In due time, there would be a familiar burn to it, much like when Hiroko herself had snapped her ulna. And yet, that wasn't what pushed Sumiye forward towards the others once more. Even if she had seen Sonomi, standing a ways off from where her classmates were, the raven-haired girl was rushing right back towards the battle. Not because she particularly had a death wish, or that there was enjoyment that was found from soaring through the air. Sumiye had something to prove before she faced her darling sister once more. A hunger to show that there was growth, and the potential to grow even further, that had to be demonstrated. The Solar Surfer would form her board, stepping atop it as water dripped from her onto it, sizzling away from the heat. Her left arm would dangle lifelessly at her side, aching as the right went to work with getting her back to the others. The construct hovered and glided along with a familiarity that made her want to get there faster. Just like the Sports Festival, there were people counting on her. This time, she wouldn't let them down. As soon as she arrived back, Jack was on the attack. And, for once, he wouldn't be alone. Jumping off and dissipating the board into the light surrounding the group, Sumiye would use her free arm in an attempt to tie the crimson man down,"Do not make a repeat of our Entrance Exams, Orion!" The raven-haired girl gritted her teeth against the pain shooting through her left arm but kept going out of stubbornness. Chains made of blinding light, ones that she amped up to make sure that contact with them would burn, would attempt to seize Crimsoul as she stood just mere feet away from Shinjiro and the others. The rest was listing off their reasons to have picked Elysium, the consensus being that Mercutio sounded like an interesting guy. Sumiye stood out, saying she'd protect the ones close to her, to which the response came that 'she,' assumedly the sister, was watching them. Shigero felt even more out of the loop than before, still completely unfamiliar with their temporary teacher and now also unfamiliar with the Suo family matters. Mercutio's blindness was mentioned, certainly noteworthy. Something to think about. Now that all that was out of the way, things could start getting a bit more interesting. He took off his backpack, opening it up to take out his weapon of choice, a shock gauntlet that slid comfortably around his forearm before being zipped up securely. He was still proud of making this item, a grin appearing on his face as he looked at it. Mercutio's attack was fast, and Shigero could barely register the few moments in which Sumiye was blasted into the ocean. A fire quirk? No, there wasn't any heat, and looking closer the girl didn't seem burned. Also, the guy had one arm? His eyebrows raised, apparently they were fighting a blind, crippled man who still had the speed, strength and accuracy to send one of them flying with a single kick. That last bit bugged him particularly, how could he see where he was going? It didn't help that nobody had answered his question about his quirk either, but that had to have something to do with it. Sonar, air vibration sensing, "energy" sensing, those were the three logical candidates, and only one could even remotely make something like that fire kick. Energy manipulation then, most likely, and that was not good. A massively powerful and versatile type of quirk, not to be messed with, even if he was fundamentally opposed to its scientifically ambiguous basis. The extent of this "vision" was unknown, so assume the worst in that he can see through objects, or around them, or something similar. A lot of guesswork had gone into his reasoning, but it was better than nothing in that he could act now. Jack was already running in, having given a quick glance to Shigero and Shinjiro as a sign to do something, presumably attack. Shigero nodded in return, his face turning stern from its more absent look earlier. As the air was heating up from the flame user's colourful display of flaming body parts on top of the tropical climate, it was nice to get a bit of distance between them. Kaito was likely out of commission for a second due to the coat flung at him, so they'd have to make-do, but help from the esper would be much appreciated if possible. Shigero glanced over at the boy, trying to form a gesture like Jack's in case it could be seen. He ran in from the right, opposite of Jack, while holding his arms back at such an angle that his gauntlet's fingers nearly touched the ring that was forming around him. The air was plenty humid, so while it was a bit barebones, the water from the air condensed into a perfect circle of water surrounding him. The way in which he was running also hid his right arm from sight just in case it couldn't be seen, in a way commonly described as "Naruto running." Every action must have more than one intention, as their de facto opponent had just told them, and however ridiculous it might look this certainly had more than one intention. Once he got close and Jack performed his feint, Shigero's ring sprouted a massive number of thin tendrils, all interconnected into a net-like structure to surround Mercutio from all sides except Jack's point of attack. His glove's fingers finally touch the liquid loop, sending an electric current through it and as such around the crimson hero, the threads closing in combined with the chains of light from the returned Sumiye around him leaving nowhere to go. Upon touch, they'd send a shock through their target, of course. The purple-haired student was prepared to defend himself if the man found a way through anyway, as well. Shigero's eyes remained focused on Crimsoul, looking for any kind of important movement in his target. Summary/Techs |

Kaito was quickly cut off though he was adamant in his reasoning. Perhaps no one else knew why he was keen on fighting this man again, but he had his own reasons. Kaito's development was partially influenced by this man. His defeat was what gave rise to his training in is weakest attributes which in turn got him where he was now. Kaito's declaration was one that Mercutio would probably fine immediately different from the boy he first met in the World Tournament. When they had first met, Kaito was just about to simply surrender the match because he knew for a fact that he would lose in almost every discernible scenario. He was one who didn't see the reason in fighting a battle that had a guaranteed outcome of loss. However Mercutio convinced him to fight. Albeit it was a mix of embarrassment that would come with surrendering and fighting ended up almost at the cost of his life with a single blow. But since his loss he had been filled with mixed emotion. One due to him scolding himself for knowing that he would lose but fighting anyway, and another the realization of his weaknesses. He strove to improve himself physically foremost during his months in the academy so that he would be able to hold his own. His newfound physique is what got him through the sports festival as well, for he knew for certain he wouldve lost to Shigero if he were at the same level of endurance he was at the Tournament. Now, now was a different story. Just when Kaito brought forth his quirk it was almost immediately turned off. His feet touched the ground once more and the feeling of his weight falling upon his feet filled him with. Momentary dread that was quickly replaced with realization. There is only one person in his life that he had ever met on twice occasion that his quirk simply did not obey his command, or rather, that he could even manifest it. "..Sonomi.." he said the word not with malice but with a smile on his face that was quickly wrapped in Mercutio's cloaked before being knocked backwards several meters. Kaito buckled over one hand clutching his chest while the other dug into the sand in attempts to keep himself from shooting back further. The pain he felt was severe, although he was not quite as hurt as he was in the tournament. He noticed that it felt as if Mercutio pulled his kick but he didn't realize it was actually Mercutio pushing off the air. In his pained moments Kaito managed to remove the cloak and see that the man that fought them did not look the same. His eyes were shut, and one of his arms missing. It was a surreal experience. "Just what in the world did that to him" was but one of the thoughts that tore through his mind. A disgusting realization that there will always someone or something that is stronger than you out in the world. He did not have time to think further on such a matter as he then saw Sumiye be blasted to the ocean by what looked like devastating attack. While he didn't exactly like the girl per say after her seemingly rude expression towards him, he did feel sympathetic to the pain she would probably be feeling, as he had felt that on another level entirely. It was Kaito's turn to act. Despite the pain he felt, he had already scrapped with who he considered to be his closest friend next to CeCe, Sonomi, and he lost miserably. But putting two and two together for someone like Kaito was not a difficult feat by any means. Both in the Tournament stands and in their sparring, Kaito's quirk was nonexistent and it just so happens that this is another one of those cases. As such it would safe to assume it was her who was the culprit be he did not know where she was nor had the time to look for her with Mercutio laying siege on them. Therefore, the only course of action was to move out of sight or create a method that would cause Sonomi to either have to come closer or cease action for a few moments. If there was any hope at subduing Mercutio it would take the combined efforts of all the interns capabilities, which could not be done if Sonomi was stifling everyones quirks. Kaito, through his pain, quickly began to move. He had a plan and he required the use of his quirk to achieve it. As he disengaged and ran he continued to call upon his quirk, and the moment it would arise Kaito would slam the ground with his hand. "Nothing to grab? I'll grab the earth itself." He stated and his influence spread into the sand below and up it went. In an whirling explosion of thick sand Kaito gained influence over the earthly specks and had this wall of sand swirl around the group to cut off outside vision. The swirling wall of sand's size and form was subject to his will. If Sonomi was out there then she had to come in close to assist Mercutio. And if Mercutio wished to stop him, then he would draw his attention and give the others chances to strike at him. Sacrifice, something Kaito too had learned to do in the festival. |

Sweet Baby Lemon Hands, the wizard, is here to the rescue!
|
Sonomi watched it all happen with her eyes as Mercutio wasted little to no time on attacking the two she had marked at the time. Sumiye and Kaito. "Come on..." The girl mumbled under her breath as she'd hoped that both of them had grown since the last time she saw them. She hoped that they could do something to impress the both of them, that they could come up with something up their sleeves - but it seemed Sumiye was panicking. "Wait... why is she..." Sonomi whimpered as she began to unconsciously take steps forward towards the girl, a part of her heart wanting to see if she was honestly okay upon the realization of one crucial thing. "Come on, move. Do something... anything." Sonomi never told her what her quirk was before she left. She remembered the scene so vividly between the scared girl and the regretful one between the door of a locked bathroom. All that talk between the two of them as to why Sonomi, "was a monster", "should be left alone", "no one to get close to" - yet, here they were. They had met once again after the long months of happiness and sorrow faded from view. Sumiye was afraid, she was scared that the one thing she knew she could count on was gone. Sonomi couldn't see her older sister's face but she knew by her posture that it wasn't pretty, she'd put her sister in such a situation that she couldn't help but frown towards the group. The white haired girl did the one thing that she herself was afraid of - making people scared. ". . ." It was only at that moment when Sumiye was the most vunerable that Mercutio chose to strike, forming a kick that vibrated in such color and intensity that Sonomi couldn't help but stop herself from looking at the crimson man. She didn't want a repeat of what happened last time when she looked at Mercutio and had her quirk active. When Sumiye flashed past her due to the attack of Mercutio, and when everything around them felt slow as if the world was gracing them with this moment - Sonomi's mouth whispered something to the girl who could barely make out their own sister. Her words were soft and unable to be heard between them, but she was sure to exchange them nonetheless before departing the flinging girl with a soft smile. "I'm sorry... for leaving you." With Sumiye temporarily in the water trying to regain herself, this left her to look over at Kaito and one of the other boys, Shigero. "I suppose I should switch now..." Sonomi said just before noticing that Kaito was still covered up in the jacket and that for some reason... her quirk wasn't working on Shigero. AT ALL. "W-Wha..." Sonomi took a few steps closer, assuming that she was just too far - but the more the stared at the boy with the water ring, it did not disappear. It remained on his body as if Sonomi was nonexistent to them. "What's the meaning of thi-...??" Sonomi glanced over to see the hot head, Jack, use his quirk to do something and move over towards Mercutio to execute a means of attack. "I don't have time to question why it doesn't work on him... I must mo-...NOW WHAT." The girl mumbled annoyingly under her breath as she saw both Kaito and Sumiye return to partake in the fight once more. Kaito even went as far as sealing off the area around them with some "barrier" to keep HER out - she knew by now that it was Kaito's intention seeing as he was the type to think strategically like this. "Well... I suppose I SHOULD move closer." She began as she made her way closer towards them, but still a ways away from the barrier. "I can't do much back here if I can't see them - hope he doesn't mind me joining in the fray.." The girl mumbled quietly towards herself as she continued on her walk until meeting up with the barrier of sand that seemed pretty weak and shabby for it's attempts to 'keep her out'. No time to sit around and stare, just go in and do what you got to do. Sonomi thought as she took one step forward and looked over towards the hot head and Kaito - stopping their quirks as her eyes locked onto the two boys, the 'barrier' Kaito had made would come falling down and Jack's beautiful array of colored flames would dissipate in front of the group. She knew that being as close as she was now, even while being at the spot where the end of the barrier would be formed that she'd be spotted if someone was perceptive enough to notice her. Regardless on if someone had spotted her or not though, a voice familiar to some would resonate as she couldn't stop Sumiye's and Shigero's actions in time - but was fully confident that Mercutio could easily get out of it. "Long time no see..." Sonomi said audibly as she appeared before them with her hands in her pockets and her glasses slowly easing their way off of her nose. She wore a bracelet on her left wrist and donned a simple set of shorts and a t-shirt. Though the main thing that was noticeable but wasn't part of the clothing was the numerous scars that ran down the right side of her arm and leg from what one could see if they were close. They were bite marks, but from what would be questionable as she kept a straight face and placed of hand of hers on the back of her neck. "Sorry I made myself noticeable Mercutio-San. I'm here to assist nonetheless." The girl said in a rather serious tone as she looked over towards Kaito and Jack with her eyes still glowing brightly - making sure that their quirks remained disabled before turning her body over towards Kaito who she was right next to. Sonomi's Outfit! ". . . Nice to see you again." Sonomi was sure to say softly before shifting her body and putting her hands out as if to portray a fighting stance. She didn't know if Mercutio was continuing the sparring session with the interns, but she knew she would pounce on Kaito seeing as he was the closest one to her. "Ready for Round 2?" She said just audible enough for him to hear as she made sure to position herself at a weird angle. She was like Kaito when it came to analyzing a situation, and was now moving her body in such a way that she'd always have the two boys in her sight for the mean time. This task was much easier considering they were on a bed of sand with no means to really obstruct her vision should they attempt to do so. LP&EP/Techs/Summary! |

God of Destruction
|
"Good, now this will be fun." he chuckled as he mentally braced for the onslaught. He rolled his neck as he watch the attacks roll out one by one and progressed forward, able to perceive them slower than they were purely based on combat experience. The kids this year moved so, freely, yet without intention. It seemed more emoptionally driven than passion bound regardless of the notion that passion is an emotion and not a state of being. In the end, the best information Mercutio took out of all of this was that, without words, they seemed to understand how to attack in somewhat of an organized formation. That was good, it showed they had the concept of basic battle tactics down and left time for Mercutio to focus on the bigger picture of it all. Sumiye found herself chased by sharks from beneath her, but nothing she could evade and her persistence was quite admirable. Shigero had his own plan and Koto seemed to find a healthy rivalry with Sonomi. This internship was hell in a hand basket. the queer thing of it all was that the boy Suo didn't do much, or move or talk... he was nearly a wallflower. Laughing a bit louder now, he let a red ribbon that was wrapped around his right arm untangle itself. He found himself gripping it tightly and the soft, velvet feel of the fabric made him chuckle a little more. It was mind blowing that it was so strong for something so seemingly frail and weak. As the group closed in on him he sighed softly and spoke in a stern, lecturing tone. "Come on now, U.A need to teach you better approaches or at least to dig a bit deeper? Coming at me like that is going to get you..." he muttered as crimson thickened around him, glowing softly, "...hit. Shinra Tensai! he bellowed, letting out a massive wave of energy from is current location, using his speed to maneuver towards Jack, passively slipping through his own ability he used. Taking the ribbon's ends in his hand, he aim to loop Jack in the red ribbon. He'd twist his frame in air and give a few spins. In doing so, he'd let go of Jack to cause a collision with the Shinra Tensei attack and this is when Sumiye would approach. Mercutio knew she was injured, but her speed gave her an advantage and by the time she was close and on her board, the Shinra Tensei would have faded. It was large enough to engulf the whole area of sand however. As he waited for a moment, Mercutio's appearance started to mimic that of his students. Crimson tendrils coming from his back and odd, flame like armor too mimic Jack. And it only went on from there. Mercutio wasn't one to underestimated anyone, but in this case he felt a great need to hold back. If he pushed this students too hard, he could very well kill them, but there is nothing gained if nothing is lost and nothing is learned if pain wasn't suffered. Sumiye would touch Merc's ass and the light would bind around him before immediately being consumed by Mercutio crimson energy and Crimsoul's hand would find the wrist of Sumiye. She would find that her own tech was used against her. "Another broken arm might help you learn, you are being careless now." he said, his words becoming more harsh and annoyed. "Sonomi spoke better of you all." he said, talking to the group he had there and not just Sumiye. "Next time, don't risk your own edge you have left." he said as he would hyper extend her arm a bit more to create some pain as he began his full body spin. Shigero's tendrils would begin to strike Merc and while annoying, it wasn't a pain he couldn't ignore for a few moments, he had a plan to deal with that. Making a snap decision, Mercutio's lips curled in a smile as crimson light would cuff around Sumiye and to her it would appear to be a nearly exact copy of the technique she just used. He used the leverage he gained and, unfazed, used Sumiye as a weapon. He spun on a dime, and would attempt to deflect away the on coming Tendrils of water in his own way. "Chidori.." he mumbled as crimson light sparked from his right fist and as he moved it, he would also end up dragging around Sumiye by his light-bound handcuff. Ass the next tendril was to hit Mercutio, he met one end of the water with the massively, charged electrical attack. In turn, he'd send a wave of electricity through the water and through Shigero like he was a grounding rod. Knowing Jack wasn't one to let something so simple keep him back, he made sure to give him an extra taste of attention. Using Sumiye as a wall, he ran up the front of her, kicking off into the air. Once his heels were directly over top his shoulders, he'd kick downwards off the air and spin in an oddly elegant manner as he screamed, "Okama Kenpō" he heel-dropped on Jack's head as best he could, but that wasn't the last bit. Using Sumiye further as a weapon, he'd swing over his head, pulling her along with him like an extremely large hammer to nail jack full-body to full-body. "You're going to see why they call me crazy... I tend to just call it passionate..." he cooed with a cheeky smirk as his energy violent circulated around him like an unstable storm barely being contained. Summary, Techs & LP

There were a great many things that Sumiye had expected out of this internship. A great deal of wisdom from a Pro Hero? Yes. Pain? Well, it was a given. However, the raven-haired girl could have never expected this- an all-out beatdown of her and the entirety of her internship group. And, not only was her missing half-sister there, but Sonomi was actually joining in on this fuckfest that was the annual U.A. internship batch. As Sumiye's own chains were used against her and taken ahold of by Crimsoul, the words that he spoke would hit her much harder than anything he did afterward. There was a truth to what he said, about her being careless, and she couldn't help but cringe at the idea of her becoming such. Where had the calculating strategist from just a year ago gone off to? Could she even still claim that she was the 'brains of 1-A' now that Mercutio's plan was unfolding before her eyes. No, she couldn't. But that didn't mean the youngest Suo would give up just like that. Even when he brought her body down on the Orion boy, Jack, there was a part of her that wanted to believe that this could be redeemed. Almost like, if she tried hard enough in this upcoming counterattack, that breaking her arm and being dragged along was worth it. And... maybe it was. This would all be a learning experience that she'd remember in years to come, one that could shape the hero that she'd be after U.A. Sumiye had nothing but admiration for what Crimsoul. As crazy as it was, it was the asskicking he'd delivered to her that smacked some sense into the girl. And as she laid on top of Jack, her body wanting to do nothing but stay on the ground as long as she could, the stubborn Suo wasn't having it. Blood leaked from her nose as she pushed herself to the limit, her mind refusing to quit even if her body did. When her right arm was used to try and push herself up, it felt... off. It didn't send shooting agony through her like her dominant one did, but it would be deemed wiser to not use it in the next fight. Still, she managed to get to her feet, briefly glancing at the fiery boy to make sure he wasn't too injured. It's not that she cared or anything... she was just being considerate! Sumiye would wipe the crimson flow from her nose onto her shoulder, her golden eyes never leaving the hero as she did,"Thank you for your teachings, Sensei." Her voice was hoarse from the beating, but it continued, even so, as radiant blades formed on her calves,"But, now it is my turn." Not once did she glance in her half-sister's direction. A promise to beat Mercutio first was already made, and Sumiye wouldn't break it just like that. To mimic his crimson aura, the light goddess herself would amplify the constant glow that surrounded her. It was purely for show, almost like a cat puffing out it's fur to look bigger. And yet, all of her wanted Crimsoul to be proud of the feral cat that she was. And, perhaps, even to see a bit of himself in her. If he advanced towards her, she'd do her best to copy the kicks that were used against her so long ago. Two, heavy hitting kicks with the blades attached to her legs- a painful lesson given by Hiroko. They would be aimed towards his head, just as her friend had once done to her. As bull-headed as Sumiye was, she wouldn't back down. Time and time again she would rise, too stubborn to prove herself for her own good. Summary
