God of Destruction

The enclosure grows quiet as winds start to roll through and a soft, purple gas hazes through. Users whom begin to inhale it begin to cough up blood. Users must pay 2 LP per turn to ward off the effects of the zone. Other than that, the arena is wide and flat with no obstacles. |

Music Maya walked along the platform looking around for a bit. A gentle breeze began strolling throughout the floors of the arena, blowing through Maya’s strands. She took a deep breath, folding her hands together meditatively. “Phree-Dum” she spoke with a heavy accent as she outstretched her hands. She was immediately met with coughing and hacking up slightly. This air, thick and purple, she took a much smaller whiff just to fulfill both a morbid curiosity and her suspicions. This air wasn’t natural, worse than the desert. She immediately brought a single hand to wave in front of her face, as she made a face disgust. Different look but the same atmosphere. This tension was familiar, she didn’t need to speak the common tongue to understand the murmur of the scarlet and ebony judge lurking about as the reaper of their immature souls. She could feel this pressure. The same atmosphere before a desert raid, or before a slaver raises his hand. This was simple. As she firmly placed her boots onto the arena floor and gradually got low to the ground placing one hand along the ground, she would immediately begin purging out her slime and surround herself. It bubbled and dripped and slid from her body. Her otherwise mocha skin would look a bit disgusting and hard to see underneath the crimson goo that ran down her body and face onto the floor. It would become wider and wider, as she would also just shed more ooze until her essence had surrounded the floor underneath her. She would walk forward, looking around and keeping an eye out for any movement as she kept low in a crouching position, only bringing her knees up to make short dashes toward the center of the arena. Prowling like an animal who was stalking their prey, she didn’t want to take any chances. For her, it might’ve not been Africa, but that doesn’t mean that this new place, this foreign place was any different than the desert. OOC Technical Stuff

Jakob stopped to take in the arena, hoping to find something he could use to his advantage. Unfortunately, he couldn't really see anything except for a mist of something purple covering the entire area. A few breaths later he felt a pain in his chest, and started coughing involuntarily, indicating that it was some kind of poison. Not what he would have expected from a death fight, but after what they had been put through he wasn't surprised. Trying to push the pain out of his mind he tried to focus on the situation, and maybe actually survive the hell he'd been thrown into. Hoping that a bulkier form would help fight off the worst of the mist's effects, he focused on his newest transformation, one he had picked up in Africa before everything had happened. His muscles and bone structure warped quickly, and his outward appearance changed with the rest of him, and after a few seconds a lion stood in his place. He smelled the air, trying to smell whoever else was in the arena trying to kill him, but the mist was so pervasive that he couldn't tell anything apart. When that didn't work he started moving into the centre, adopting a low stance as he began stalking his prey. He could feel the lion's natural instincts pushing on the edges of his mind, but rather than fight it he tried controlling it. It would take a killer to make it through, and he wasn't sure he had what it would take. Either way he continued slowly making his way through the fog, keeping his senses open and hoping he saw the other person before they saw him. OOC

Battle Theme for Maya The young orphan muttered to herself, "Frana yna drao.." as she continued her slow prowl to the center. ![]() A smile crept up on her face, it was this thrill of life or death that excited her nerves so much. Survival, slight bloodlust and a need to prove herself in this new environment mixed to create someone who was simply ready for the battle. She didn't see much need for anything less than forward. She's survived the worst that Africa had to offer and this man, named 'Mur-Cue-She-Oh' gave her a new gift of life. All he requested was the death of those who weren't worthy. How could she deny him? The only present she could offer was death, so her first offering would be this boy. The frantic body warping in the distance is what cued Maya to even glance in that direction. The fog wasn't that thick, it was clearly just the hue of the poison that hummed across the entire arena. Her golden eyes would reflect off the sun for a bit as she kept darting her eyes all around the arena. Making it to the center, it wasn’t that far from her original starting position, keeping her fingertips gently along the arena floor as she twisted her head all around, she kept one leg outstretched with her slender but nimble physique while she kept allowing the ooze to continue to seep off her body. Her eyesight was a bit better than her opponent’s and with a slight squint she could see through the fog as she noticed movement a small distance away. She didn't know what type of person or quirk she was fighting so she only got close enough to see them but maintain her distance and influence. The contortion of body parts made them stick out like a sore thumb. She found herself looking at the lion that was in front of her and it didn't seem like he detected her yet, probably because of the transformation itself. Maya, wasn't someone who wasted time. She wasn’t going to give up her position at the center of the arena and instead began having goo shootout in multiple directions away from her, forming little globs all around her and placing them all over the arena, manipulating them to seam into the arena floor through the cracks and tiling. She kept them within her range of influence as she began stalking the shadowy figure in the distance, while moving all of her slime with her as well. She maintained a solid distance to the center of the arena however and was not going to allow anyone to have it, only on all fours for a brief moment, she remained crouched low and kept both the center of the arena as well as the boy in her range of influence, before outstretching a single hand and pitched out a bit of slime toward her enemy. The scarlet sludge while within her range of control would separate into not one, not two, but three streams of muck in which she would aim for the shadow’s face, chest and legs. It would be more of a nuisance than anything if any of her attacks connected. No pain from the initial impact but miniscule pain at most from a slight numbing or burning sensation, but it was hardly lethal. Other than that, it was just unpleasant at most, given the nature of disgusting slime. She kept her swamp of slime following her just as slowly as her movements while it bubbled around her, slowly increasing its span by 1m as Maya did not stop generating slime. She looked like a creature crawling through a deluge of vermilion while her piercing daffodil colored eyes looked up from under the grime, keeping her eyes locked onto her opponent she anticipated some sort of retaliation and she needed information on how the boy would struggle before being culled. As Jakob continued moving, he started to smell something different through the poison. It was subtle enough that he could have missed it for a while, but once he noticed it was unmistakably separate. It also happened to be getting stronger as he went, meaning it was in the same direction he was headed, probably his opponent or their quirk. Unfortunately, his smell was still majorly hindered and unable to distinguish anything specific, and whoever it was had been able to hide so that he couldn't see or hear them. Until he got closer taste and touch were out, so any advantage his animal senses could have given him were nullified. He then heard splattering sounds, something soft or wet hitting the ground around him in multiple places. It didn't hit him so it probably wasn't aimed, but it gave him some sort of expectation as to what to expect. Even without knowing what it was, unless the other person was insanely fast they wouldn't be able to hit every spot he heard in that time without it having a ranged component. He stopped and waited, and not too much time passed before the actual attack followed, the only tell a faint whistling through the air. It was so quiet that normal human ears wouldn't have heard it, and even he would have missed it if he wasn't trying to already. Turning to the right spot he saw a shadow flying towards him, and got ready to jump away, when it split up into different shadows each still aimed at him. Realising he was too big to safely avoid all three, he jumped, once again willing a transformation, this time back into his own body. It happened as he was in midair, and he twisted, just barely missing them, and one of them grazed his left arm, leaving behind some kind of ooze or residue. As he landed on his back, he felt it cause a stinging sensation as it soaked slightly through his sleeve. Not wanting to keep it on him in case it was worse than it felt he tore off the sleeve, leaving his arm unprotected but stopping the slight pain. Feeling a need to retaliate, and with his senses dulled back to normal, he didn't know exactly where. Getting up quickly into a stable stance he launched a side kick in the direction the attack had come from, throwing himself into it to create a shockwave that would hopefully clear out enough of the mist to let him see, and maybe even hit the opponent. Maya's Battle Theme She stayed low to the ground observing him and watched as he narrowly dodged her attack, the rest of her slime balls just simply landing elsewhere in the arena, past the young man. She chortled a bit as she realized that was a narrow dodge for him and he even reverted back to his previous form. She dashed slightly closer, while he went into mid-air, staying crouched and low to the ground. Her swamp still following her as well as other slime that she had shot throughout the arena, surrounding him. Without even moving or giving off any clues, the moment he landed from narrowly dodging, the slime behind him that originally missed would launch itself toward his back. She would aim for when he landed so he couldn't escape. She would be hard pressed to believe he can do that acrobatic shit again. His shirt would cover most of it and as such it wouldn't hurt or do much damage unless it began soaking through. She only momentarily glanced at his sleeve, recognizing that he didn't know what her quirk was but kept her golden piercing eyes at him, incase of an attack as they both were quite visible to one another now after she had gotten closer. She didn't want to see him flipping around anymore and would allow her slime to rise up from the tiles under him that she had seeped under the arena from before to fly up at him. Panels with her slime underneath would shoot from under him at the same time as the slime that originally missed would attack him from behind. The slime from under the tiles would outstretch and form what looked to be... A hand! A slime covered arm would outstretch and make an attempt to grab him and keep him still as the tiles also flew at him toward his body, attempting to pelt him with multiple attacks from different angles. All the while she continued to emit more slime to the ground she increased the swamp around her by another 1m, almost 14 feet of slime was surrounding her and the panels around her. She would only let slight amounts trickle through the tiles but she kept most of her bog surrounding her, only using the most basic of her manipulative skills do most of her work while she stayed and maintained a solid distance from him, the edge of her crimson mire creeping up on the boy's feet. She wondered what his retaliation as but did not expect him to kick... air. She was about to laugh before she saw the shock wave that pierced through the pink haze. Her eyes widened, but she had been watching him for several moments now, it was a blind attack. She was confident that, either he did not detect her through the fog or he was panicking. Both were good, but she had to act quickly, she saw the lion transformation and now a kick, she didn't know which as his quirk, possibly both? She didn't want to give him a chance to do that again either way. As soon as the kick parted the pinkish cloud, she figured she could defend herself as well as limit his options. She erected a sizable wall from her finger tips that she used to push down onto the arena floor, a ton of slime formed and accumulated itself from her hands before launching itself toward's Jakob. About 16 feet wide as it completely snuffed out the shockwave, with the thick muck acting as a wave toward the young boy, her slime assembling itself into a wall that she decided to have rush itself at him. She let out a deep huff, she thought that the boy would just roll over but it seemed he would try with every ounce of his might and usage of his abilities. She hadn't seen someone kick air at her before, but she did hear rumors of people who had so much strength that they could change the weather. Maybe he was one of those fated people? Maybe he had some sort of air quirk? If she hadn't been watching him so closely, she probably would've been struck. All it meant was, in order for her to survive she had to pay closer attention. These next series attacks was for her a present to her fellow Orphan. She was no longer underestimating him. OOC Information

In the middle of his kick, Jakob noticed the feeling from before, but now on his back as the ooze started soaking through his shirt once more. He hadn't even felt it hit him, as focused as he was on everything else, but he must have gotten hit by another round of shots. Seeing as it didn't have much force to it, he felt right in his original assumption that it wasn't meant to hurt at first, but do something if kept on the body. Unfortunately, he doubted he would be given time to rid himself of his shirt, considering a much larger amount of slime was coming at him. Even as his shockwave started launching, a bunch of ooze was coming from the ground towards him, in the rough shape of a hand grabbing at him. He threw himself into a dodge roll, forwards and to the side to go under it, but ended up still being pelted with a bunch of tiles across his back, and he noticed that the same ooze was covering the ground he stopped on that started coming up his legs. The shockwave had travelled while he was dealing with the rest of his situation, and had displaced the mist enough for him to see his supposed opponent. It looked to be a girl, but covered in the ooze at the same time as she seemed to be secreting it. In fact, she created a large amount just from her hands as a defence against his kick, sending it out towards him even as it swallowed the air. It was to large for him to simply sidestep, and tall enough that a normal jump wouldn't clear it. Without knowing exactly what the ooze would do beside provide an annoying sensation, he didn't want to get hit with it, and without knowing how thick it was he wasn't going to try climbing it. Instead, he did something he could only hope would work and dove towards it, aiming a punch towards the ground as he did. Instead of the resulting shockwave being used to attack something, it pushed him upwards. The move pushed him to the top of the wave, and he curved just enough to miss it, once again getting grazed but this time on his legs, joining what had gotten on there already. He could see the other person as he kept going, flying towards them still in the air. Rearing back his arm once again, he let loose another punch, hoping that they would be surprised enough that he got through their wall in the way he did to get some kind of hit. Even if he didn't get a solid, direct hit like he hoped, the shockwave would still hit them if they were close enough. Either way, he would land on his face in the ooze around them, getting it over what little clean body space he had left. The pain was significantly worse as he got more and more of it on him, almost like being bitten by insects over every inch of his skin as it soaked through the fabric of his clothes and made contact with him. Whoever this person was, they were a monster, but that would just make it easier to finish things when the time came. For now, he just needed to wait for an opening. OOC

Maya's Battle Theme That sealed it for Maya, one of the aspects of his quirk had to have been some sort of air propulsion. She didn't see him dodging her wall of scarlet mud, the eerie ooze looking ethereal as it rushed towards him before resting itself on the outskirts of her influence. She saw him take to the air as she continued secreting the crimson goo. She slid along her muck like an ice skater now that she had 4m of it covering the ground underneath her. She controlled the slime underneath her feet as a surf board and would use it to slide backwards right after she launched the attack, manipulating the slime around her to stay around. She stayed on the edge of her own pool. The arena was soaked in slime as she manipulated her wall to begin to find its way back to her. She watched the boy as he as mid air, his back and leg covered now, he brought his shoulder back and looked as if he was about to attack from mid-air. 'Nuh-uh' she thought to herself. She slid backwards before to gave her some extra time to react to the incoming missile of a boy. She saw that he was falling toward her and her quag of muck. She waited till he hit the peak of his height and couldn't control himself falling anymore. She would erect another wall of muck. This time standing upright in her own swamp. Around her feet it began bubbling and her ooze became more irregular in it's movements as she just simply stared up at the boy, taking a low wide stance. The ooze began to swell and grow from underneath her feet before she fabricated another wall from her slime, shot up towards the man. She had the wall curve around her, another 16 feet upwards as she saw another blast of wind connect with her thick ooze. She would allow him to fall into her wall this time as she continued secreting more ooze onto the arena floor. She would wait for the man to land in her pool or wall, as manipulated her previous wall to turn around and slink back toward Jakob, leaving tons of residue behind. She would sandwich him between her two walls that would soak him completely to the bone in slime. All the while, secreting more goo into her pool increasing it by another 2m, having bits of it continuously seep into the arena tiles. It was clear the boy was trying to get close to her while limiting his exposure to her attacks, but these next series of attacks was a sign of her seriousness, nothing was left to chance as beads of sweat of hers was simply immersed in her own slime it was impossible to tell the difference. She was happy to oblige. After she erected her wall, she would manipulate about 3m of goo within her own pool to attempt slam into him upon landing. Her quirk was more reminiscent of torture with the type of pain it caused, but that wouldn't stop her from covering this boy from head to toe. Her skin pulsing with an eerie bloody red glow. Staring into it would be similar to that of staring into a void. She got ready now, as she formed 4 compressed balls of slime around her, ready to fight at close range as this boy clearly wanted. When he would land, she would also rush towards him, utilizing her slime to dash toward his aforementioned landing spot. OOC Information

Maya's Battle Theme 24 Hours. Posting Again She saw him land into her pool, barely catching himself as both of her goo walls slammed into the boy. There wasn't much impact or force behind them other than maybe the same pain as one would get belly flopping pool Oobleck. And then the stinging sensation of the residue, but not quite burning. More like a papercut...for his entire body. Maya dashed passed him, only feinting like she was going to fight at close range, but given his earlier transformation that was not going to be the case. Dashing past him utilizing her Slime as a water slide to rush past him swiftly enough, she took a quick look at him as she watched him surrounded and 'enjoying' her double goo wall. Every inch of him was covered, head-to-toe as one would be if they fell in the equivalent of gelatin. Once she ended her quick dash, she couldn't help but be almost like a child. She wiped her brow and let out a sigh, sweat and secretion flowing from her body while she kept panting. He was a tough opponent and surely if he counter attacked again, she didn't have enough to defend herself. In fact, her dashing offensive was a mistake on her part. She began to mentally bang her mind among her own opinions. 'Dryd fyc cdibet. Cdyo yfyo Maya.' she mentally yelled at herself, before giving herself a quick strike to her own dome. She crouched down again, despite giving up the center of the arena, he was completely covered from head to toe and would be dealing with that tingling pain. But that was the least of his worries. She launched her four Slime balls under the arena as she continued secreting more, forming 1m of goo under her, watching him and just taking the moment to catch her breath from his barrage of attacks. She stayed a good distance away from him just watching him, preparing defenses in case he tried to rush her. She would manipulate the goo around him to simply make it more difficult to comb through the muck, but she was largely crouched and waiting for him while just having her scarlet ooze drip down onto the floor ready for more combat. Her balls vanishing into the arena tiles and Maya just consistently keeping up the slime all over her form as well as around the balls of her feet for quick dashing, thinking of adopting a hit & run strategy from his obvious visual impairment within this pink haze. Jakob watched as yet another wall appeared to swallow up his attack, right before he fell into it. There was a hardness to the initial impact that he didn't expect, which then settled into the soft ooze he had gotten used to. He pulled himself mostly clear with little resistance, but then the other wall crashed in on him, apparently having changed its course like a boomerang. By now he was almost completely soaked, and his body was screaming in protest at whatever the substance even was. He started struggling to get free, knowing that a finishing attack could come at any moment while he was in effect rendered useless. As such, he missed Maya making her way past him. Finally, he pulled himself free from the larger masses of goo, but was still covered in a heavy amount from head to toe. He started clearing his face so that he would be able to see and breathe to some extent, and succeeded, even if it was more like pulling it away than wiping himself clean. He looked around to make sure he wasn't in immediate danger, but the girl seemed content with messing with him and wearing him down. It was difficult to find her again, but now that he knew what to look for a bit better he was able to find a shadow he was sure was her. He thought quickly, trying to analyse her fighting style up to that point to figure out what to do. So far she had focused on defense and manipulating him, every time it came close to a direct fight she escaped rather than facing him. Probably because she had seen his transformation earlier, but also probably because she wasn't very good at a brawl. That led him to one real conclusion, and that was to keep rushing at her like he had been already and hope he could break through. He ran towards her, making sure to keep an eye out for anymore of her tricks. The goo slowed him down a bit at first, but once he got used to running on and through it, he was able to move almost at normal speed. There was nothing he could really do about the goo already on him but hope it was already doing what it was meant to by hurting him just by being on him. "Stop fighting! This has to end soon anyway, I don't want to hurt you more than I need to!". Assuming he got close enough in his charge he would throw a punch, not as powerful as his earlier ones as he wanted to conserve his energy, but if it faked her out into thinking he was trying for another one that was more than fine. He was aiming for the body, remembering something about the it being much easier to hit than the head and all he was really trying to do was stop her from running. OOC

Act 2: On The Wings of Hermes! It wasn't long now, he was covered. Everything from his hair to his feet are soaked, their flesh almost matched with hers being scarlet from the use of her quirk oozing down upon her form, completely replacing her caramel skin as she continued to ooze more slime onto the ground, her entire form soaked in a void of crimson hues. She was watching his movements now, despite him running at her his movements weren't anything she hadn't seen before. Yet, this was the first time he rushed her in such a direct moment. Her golden eyes glinted as she kept all of her goo around the boy, moving with him. His sprinting wasn't all that fast, not as instant or strong as his earlier movements with his shockwave kick and shockwave punch. She feared taking one of those while rushing at him, but if he wanted to brawl at close range, she wasn't going to run. She'd be happy to oblige. As the boy ran at her, her pool, her walls and her goo would follow. There was 6m of muck around the boy's feet, he wasn't going to run from it as it continued to follow him all the way to her. She heard him scream at her. She barely understood the majority of it. "Stop.... fight....! hurt...." That's all she could make out. Words that she was used too. Stop, a word that was screamed from her previous father figure when they took her. Fight, a word she only remembered when she would be given new orders. Hurt? He seemed to have gotten used tot he minor pain. More was yet to come. Maybe he as pleading for his life? No, she doubted his pain tolerance was so low. Was he... pitying her? Taking it easy on her? Her golden eyes locked onto him before he launched a fist toward her, the fist wasn't as fast as his other movements. She would launch several tiles upward toward his face and body, while she kept low to the ground, crouching and ducking under his fist, only being nicked very lightly by the corner of his fist, scarring her lightly through the slime. She realized that his speed when not launching those shockwaves matched hers, and he was stronger than her it seemed in terms of a pound-for-pound knuckle fight that she could ascertain by the stinging graze on her face. Dashing under his fully extended fist, she would leap upwards away from him, but towards her incoming wall it seemed! Her feet would plant on her ooze covered wall that followed the young boy and she would jump off of it, brandishing her filed down nails and filed down canines at the young boy's back. Attempting to grasp and latch onto him, so she could sink her claws and teeth into his flesh, hoping to draw blood. Her acrobatic skills were not one to be underestimated at close range. Nor as she afraid of the young boy, both of them covered and soaking in slime, completely moist and dripping like a runny nose, she would add another 1m during the chaos. Now at close proximity, especially with all her slime following them both it would be improbable for this fight to be 'clean'. It was all coming to plan and fruition. Regardless if she her attempt at chomping, she was going to cover all her options. She would have all the goo she was manipulating at the moment to crash ontop of both of their heads, similar to several gallons and buckets of mucus just thrown onto each other would be the only equivalent, but from all sides? They would probably both be slammed by her own mutually assured attack. She was preparing for the climax. Even if he somehow dodged the goo slam, he would create a distance between them again instead of embracing the swamp with her. OOC Summary

Jakob watched as the girl ducked to avoid his punch, and adjusted to be able to just graze her face. She apparently used the movement to counter him as well, as a few tiles shot up from the ground, but even as they hit him the slime was actually able to stop him from feeling it. Returning to a neutral stance he expected her to fight him up close, but instead she ran away again, jumping away from him towards the wall that continued to chase him for some reason. As she jumped off of it back towards him for her own attack, he saw his opportunity finally as she would be unable to change direction midair. Timing his attack to be at the right time, he let off yet another punch, catching her directly before the force sent her flying back the way she had just gone. She managed to scratch his arm with what seemed like claws before being knocked away, which sent a different kind of pain through his forearm. Unfortunately taking the time to make that hit meant he wasn't focusing on their surroundings, and by the time he noticed the goo ready to slam into him it was too late to really get out of the way. Even so, he tried, stumbling through the slime already on the ground that sucked at his feet before he was hit. The impact knocked him down to the ground, the sheer volume making him unable to move as he was enveloped absolutely. He held his breath, waiting for it to stop moving so he could try and get free, but it blocked his mouth and nose like he was swimming in water. He couldn't believe it, after fighting as hard as he could and getting as far as he did, what was going to kill him was a puddle of red goo. OOC

Act 3: The First Step (Warning: Loud Screaming) Thwap! Maya went flying, her face contorted from his deep hit. She dashed directly into it and collided head first. Her ponytail bursting open as her hair sprawled out while she ricochet off the ground and rolled backwards. After such a facial strike, her secretion stopped. The glowing goo simply becoming void like as it slid down her body. Despite the boy's drowning, she was no longer manipulating it. Stunned from the initial hit. Maya was one who did not like surprises, they were her bread and butter weakness. She lied on the ground for but a moment though, as one punch was not enough to take her out. She wiped her face and began to rise from her lied down position. Her skin returning to its mocha form. Blood just ran down her face, along with her shattered jaw. ![]() She rose completely now, staggering slightly from the pain but adrenaline covered the majority of it. She was knocked 5m away from him. Almost outside of the range of her abilities. She would simply begin walking forward, stumbling slightly as she did and panting. The sweat along her brow clearly apparent as the goo simply washed off of her, every centimeter of it. Coming off like a latex mask. She outstretched her hand, beginning to manipulate her goo once again, throwing globs of it ontop of him over and over again. Making sure he kept drowning in it. Her piercing yellow eyes, that of a huntress who's finally cornered her prey. She walked closer no 2m separated them as she did not have the look of someone who's a mass murderer, or someone who derived pleasure from murder but simply someone who was trying to survive. It was... 'balance' Mercutio saved her life, so she had to take one. It was the cycle of nature and order of things. Survival rarely has two winners and just like him she was trying to survive. It was no surprise, she had two more years of experience on the young boy. Growing up in Africa versus a boy who traveled and lived a good life was not a fair comparison for combat. SIZZLE! There it was, her terrifying quirk's real nature. The ability to consume living flesh. As she outstretched her hand, she simply began clenching it above her head as if she were clenching at the moon. Her yellow gaze watching his burn. She was not a coward and would never dishonor her meal. Never would she gaze upon her new potential and look down on it.
