General Appearance: Kang Min-Hwan is a man with a deceptively grim appearance, his almost sickly pale complexion and thin frame giving him an ominous quality. This aura borders on monstrous when one factors in his height and dark hair and eyes. Strangely enough, though, his noble facial features betray a more accurate picture of the man, showing a level of shrewdness and charisma in his expression. Lastly, one peculiar aspect of Kang's appearance is in relation to his Quirk. It gives him a constant, soft golden glow that can occasionally intensify depending on his mood or control of it.
| Clothing: Kang's clothing can be described with two words: dark and dapper. There's not much else to it, he likes to wear greys and blacks, and will almost never be seen in anything remotely resembling casual wear.
| Personality: INFJ - The Advocate
On the surface, Kang is a very withdrawn and private man. Thanks in no small part to his appearance, he can seem the kind who prefers to stay home alone or stick to the shadows, with his overall presence being quite weak at default. With his almost fragile frame but shrewd expression, it wouldn't be hard to mistake him for a conman or some other shady individual, but either guess would be far from the truth.
In reality, Kang Min-Hwan is a man with a deep sense of idealism, a great believer in the strength of human potential and a figure of great ambition. But he is not an idle dreamer, and strives with passion and purpose to enact his visions, desiring to leave a lasting impact on humanity by shaping its future. Though soft-spoken, his opinions are strong and he will fight tirelessly for his guiding principle: "The golden light of enterprise", he calls it. The idea that aiming for personal excellence through initiative and resourcefulness will enlighten oneself and those around them.
Always acting with conviction and imagination, Kang's a brilliant mind that he uses in his role of leadership. With a natural talent for inspiring and captivating people with his powerful ideals, Kang finds it easy to make connections with others, often finding potential in them where others have not. These connections, however, are rarely more than shallow, and there are very, very few people who could truly say they have a close relationship with Kang. More effective as a figurehead than a friend, Kang retains an air of mystery in spite of his seemingly straight-forward nature.
Although an idealist, Kang is also a businessman, and is aware of humanity's capacity for trickery and deceit. Insightful and decisive, Kang deals very carefully with those who he cannot charm with his charismatic idealism. It is these few people who come to understand just how shrewd and at times cunning Kang can be, it is these people who see just how far he is willing to go for his convictions.
As his appearance would tell you, at the core of Kang's golden brilliance is a deep darkness. His zeal is the basis for his vision, but it has sown something far darker within him. He's a tireless perfectionist, and as such can burn out very easily in his pursuits. This has left him with a strong cynicism, almost contrary to his usual view on humanity, that has convinced him that in order for his dream to be achieved, moral boundaries must be broken at times. Only in his most private moments, only with those closest to him, will this darker view be seen. Only then will another one of his core philosphies be illuminated.
The idea that to create a bright future, some parts of the present must be sacrificed.
Because at the end of the day, the ends justify the means. Always.
| Quote(s): "There is potential in all of us, no matter our circumstances." "Wherever I travel, I will bring with me the golden light of enterprise." "The ends will always justify the means." "We are the Architects of the Future."

History:
History: Kang Min-Hwan was born in Seoul, South Korea. Much of his earliest childhood, however, is a blur to him, and he couldn't even tell you what his own parents were like, as he was orphaned at a very young age. All he does know is that there was no immediate family willing to take him in, leaving him stuck at an orphanage and at the bottom of Seoul's social structure.
If one was to ask Kang to describe his early childhood, he'd simply describe it as 'boring'. The orphanage was a lifeless and dreary place, with very few children actually getting adopted. They were but a speck in the shadow of Seoul, one of the world's greatest capitals of technology and industry. And the fact that Kang was born with an incredibly weak constitution didn't help his seemingly insignificant position in the world.
Born with a thin, weak body and sickly pale complexion, Kang encountered his fair share of bullying from a young age, especially among the other orphans. He ended being very bookish and quiet, in a futile attempt to avoid their attention, but achieved very little. Although his position made him some protective friends along the way, he was nonetheless trapped in the harsh reality that he was at the very bottom of the food chain, doomed to be overshadowed.
Awakening to his Quirk was a double-edged sword. On one hand, the heat produced was very effective in warding off bullies. On the other hand, the golden hue it gave him made it increasingly difficult for Kang to remain inconspicuous. For the longest time, he simply wanted to fade away, to go unnoticed and unmentioned, but it seemed fate would not allow for that.
The bullying continued to get worse, especially the physical aspect. At first, emitting heat was enough to ward off his aggressors, but when they awakened to their own powerful Quirks, it only ended up making them angrier. One incident, in particular, had him badly assaulted during an outdoors expedition with his few friends. After taking a solid hit from a kid with enhanced strength, he was left unconscious, seemingly left for dead.
He would, be some miracle, end up surviving the strike with the help of a passing stranger. Said stranger had apparently managed to heal him, though the stress on his body had resulted in the white streak now in his hair. His mysterious savior helped the young Kang back home, but not before leaving him with a cryptic message. "I can see, you have a bright future ahead of you," he'd said.
Harrowing as the ordeal had been, Kang had felt truly blessed by the luck he'd encountered. Those around him would've noticed a strange change in the boy, a glimmer of hope. Shortly after the event, that glimmer would explode into a brilliant beacon.
Living in one of the lower socio-economic areas of Seoul, Kang rarely got to see the more built-up areas of the city. So when a simple school excursion to one of the most prominent company's in the city came around, he could not help but find the experience incredibly inspiring. In but a few moments, he knew exactly where his bright future lay - in the brilliance of enterprise and technology.
Dedication and passion were fostered overnight, as Kang set out to achieve his dream. He would, unfortunately, find he'd no talent for tinkering, but with a great degree of study and hard-work, he became proficient in the sciences and trained himself to be a competent businessman. His schooling years flew by, time with friends often foregone for time spent preparing for his future. But as his passion grew, so did his zeal.
His philosophies developed, shaped by his past, and he began to truly believe in the 'bright future' he could create. Awakened to his own potential, he began to see the same in others... But that was not always a good thing, as he saw both potentials for greatness, and potential to do harm. The latter of which he'd find in another one of his bullies. His growing successes throughout his high school and early college years brought the ire of one of his former bullies from the orphanage, who attempted to assault him yet again.
But what happened to that bully... No one expected. Though he refuses to reveal many of the details, one thing is known for certain. Kang killed the man without hesitation.
He was sentenced to a brief stint in jail, on account of his actions being deemed provoked by his attacker. In spite if his incarceration, Kang held steadfast onto his dream. Or, perhaps, it was calculated from the start. With much time to himself, he developed plans for the future company, the name 'Daedalus' being derived from old stories he'd read as a child. But this was not the only thing he fostered during his imprisonment.
Through his intellect and economic expertise, Kang actually ended up making a few powerful friends in prison. One of which was an influential businessman with ties to the Korean Mafia. After several years of questionable dealings and unspoken deeds, Kang earned the man's trust, and a job when he finally got out.
He'd work under the Mafia-affiliate for several more years, biding his time and rising through the ranks of a struggling company. Time spent plotting would not go to waste, and as his old prison-friend's influence waned, and Kang's own bank account grew, he would eventually cull his employers in a single strike, using his position to reveal their scandalous connection to the Mafia.
The company was bankrupt, Kang left with a hefty severance pay, finally having enough influence, experience and wealth to pursue his original plans. Now, it was just a matter of creating a place in the world for Daedalus, by whatever means necessary.

Combat, Stats & Earnings:
Combat: Kang Min-Hwan is a businessman, not a fighter. He rarely ends up in combat, and when he does it's never without his security force by his side. In these rare occasions, however, he will not run. Instead, he uses his Quirk from a distance as a means of support and long-range attacks whenever he can. All in all, even when fighting he takes the role of general rather than a front-line fighter.

Quirk was rolled for here
| Tier 3
| description Ability: The user of this quirk has special glands located throughout their body which are not only capable of exerting high amounts and pressures of heat, but they have very strong colour pigments as an aside function. They can choose a singular colour hue which their heat techniques and abilities appear to be. They are naturally almost scorching in temperature but are perfectly healthy.
Limitations: It takes a good deal of control for the user to fully understand and comprehend their own heat glands, which can lead to inadvertent injury of allies if they aren't careful. They are susceptible to the heat in their body directly affecting their mood (e.g. getting angry will lead to spikes in heat, etc, etc). As a passive effect, they occasionally emit hues of their chosen colour, which makes it difficult for them to be stealthy. Overuse of their quirk gives them a -3 Stamina debuff for two posts.
The color of Kang's heat is gold
