Slow, booming footsteps echoed through the area as the two children ran into the forest in fear. They couldn't have been more than 5 years old, thus they staggered over roots and small bushes, panting the entire way. "Hurry, she's right behind us!" Cried the little girl as she looked back. About 20 feet away cast in shadow was a massive looming figure, female in appearance. Her tail swished slowly as she took one large, booming step. Her eyes glowed red, focused on the two. The boy tried to catch up but eventually staggered and tripped. He yelped, causing the other child to stop and go back for him. "Go! Run!" He cried as the girl tried to pull him up. "I can't leave you, she'll get you!" She responded. Another boom of the massive creature's footsteps could be heard as her face broke the shadows and revealed itself. Her human face was covered in thick, reptilian scaling on the jaw and forehead, her teeth sharpened to a point and filled her devilish smile. She exhaled, letting loose a small gust of hot air as she looked down to the kids. The children screamed. The boy struggled to get to his feet while t he girl ran into the forest but it was too late. One one more massive step the giantess was on top of him and staring straight down. "No! No! Don't!" The kid pleaded as he scrambled on his back to get away. "Found you...." The woman boomed in a low, powerful voice. She bent down and with one hand began to reach for the child. "And now! You! Are...." She said as she slammed her fist towards the kid. The child screamed and covered his face as best he could, right up until the monster woman slowed her thrust and gently poked him in the stomach with a single finger. "It!" She finished with glee. The child groaned in frustration. "Aw, nuts! Stupid roots, they tripped me." He yelled as he tried to pull himself up. The giant woman used one of her fingers to help him to his feet as she sat down in front of him. Standing ten feet in height, even sitting she towered over him. She chuckled. "You're the one who ran into the forest." She said sweetly. "Nuh uh! That was Kichi's idea!" The women held up her clawed finger and wiggled it. "Upupup, you can't blame others. But now you're it, and no tag-backs now Shinji." The boy groaned as he looked around for someone else to hunt as the giantess stood back up and cupped her hands to her mouth. "Shinji's It, everyone!" She called out in her massive voice. A few giggles could be heard from the forest and nearby buildings. More children peeked around with grins on their faces as they looked to Shinji, who responded by charging them. The children screamed and jumped b ack into hiding just as a bell from the village could be heard. The woman looked to town. It was 3 PM. "Alright, kids, time to go!" She called out. She was met with a chorus of disapproving groans and pleads to go five more minutes, which she immediately shut down as she knelt to the ground. Ten children walked over to her and began to climb onto her back and tail, with Shinji and the girl from before- Kichi- in her arms. "Everyone ready?" She asked. the kids yelled with joy as she stood up and walked briskly into the town. The kids held on, giggling and screeching in joy as the giant woman moved at the speed of a bike through the streets. Adults looked on with worry but dared not approach the monstrous lady out of fear. The woman did her best to ignore them but it was easy to see a frown on her face. She should be used to this by now. Luckily the children riding near her shoulder managed to snap her out of it by boasting about their favorite part of the game. By the time he had finished she had arrived at a daycare with a middle-aged woman waiting. She waved up to the giantess as the kids departed and lined up in front of her. The middle aged woman approached. "Oh, they look all tired out, Ara, you didn't work them too hard?" She joked as she looked over the kids. "Just a game of tag, ma'am." The giantess responded. "Well, they look like they had fun. Did you have fun, kids?" The kids yelled unanimously in agreement. "And you'll be here tomorrow for them?" "Hopefully, ma'am." The middle-aged woman nodded and walked the kids towards the school. "Thank you again, Ara. The kids adore you." She said before heading inside herself. Ara stared at the kids leaving as they waved to her before turning around and heading for the village exit. "Glad someone does, ma'am..." She muttered to herself. She stood in front of the school for a moment and looked at the surrounding crowds passing by. They made a distinct arc to avoid her, giving her intimidated glares and worried looks as they hurried past her. Her smile faded as she sighed and began walking down the street towards the village exit. Edited by shogungari, Oct 6 2017, 04:33 AM.

Kentaro walked down the street, on his way to pick up his little sister from school. School had just started, and things were still a little hectic at home for his parents. Schedules hadn't been adjusted yet at work, and since Kentaro had missed the application window for UA, it was his responsibility to pick up his little sister. Not that he minded, it was a pretty nice day, and he loved her very much. Ken always found walking relaxing and was about a block away, when something totally threw off the vibe. A huge voice boomed out from the direction of the school. It sounded like "Shinji........ Run!" but he couldn't make out the middle bit. Kentaro cocked his head, straining to hear anything else. Was something going on? Was Kanna in danger? Kentaro broke into a run, quickly closing the remaining distance, arriving just as school was released. It took a while to navigate to the correct class room, and find his little sister, but everything seemed to be fine. He sighed a breath of relief. Thank goodness. The two left the building together, ready to go home, when Ken spotted quite literally the largest, and probably coolest, woman he had ever seen. Kanna pointed to her "HEY, HEY MRS. JIRA" She said, quite loudly. Ken looked at his sister incredulously as she ran up to go talk to the large, tailed lady. He followed suite, keeping a protective, yet trusting distance. "You know her Kanna? I'm so sorry, I hope we're not bothering you" |

Ara turned around and looked down to see Kanna with an older boy she didn't recognize. As Kanna ran up to her, Ara knelt down to pat her head. "Going home, Kanna?" She asked with a smile. She looked over to Kentaro who had the same defensive stance others did. By now she was used to it. "Not at all, I was just finishing my trip with the kids. Is this your sister?" She asked as she continued to play with the child using her massive lizard-like tail. |

Kanna smiled ear to ear as she got affection from Ara, and as her attention shifted to her older brother, Kanna chased after Ara's tail, trying to hug it. "Yep, she's been my little sister for the past five years" He said, cracking a smile. If Mrs. Jira is this good with kids, she must be a genuinely good and caring person. Despite appearances, Mrs. Jira seemed to be very gentle with his little sister. "How long have you been teaching here? I feel like I would've remembered meeting you before" She must have been an X-Form, like him. Though she was the biggest he had ever met. And now that he had a real chance to look at her, one of the most barely clad. He understood, to a degree. Finding clothes as an X-Form was hard, and a person her size it must be nearly impossible. He realized he was approximately at bust-height, blushed violently and looked away. "I definitely would have remembered seeing you around." Ken hoped desperately he didn't make it weird, but he just couldn't look at her directly. |

Ara slowly lifted the end of her tail up and down as Kanna rode on it happily. Her attention was on Kentaro however. The resemblance was uncanny, to say the least. Both were equally spikey but at least the little girl's quills were shorter and not painful. "Not really teaching, more of a.....gym teacher. I was asked to entertain the kids and....well, basically tire them out." She replied. She noticed Kentaro blushing and looking away, chuckling a little. "I'm new to the area, however, probably why you haven't seen me around. I'm Ara." She said, holding out her hand. It's massive size would easily engulf Kentaro's. "The kids call me Girlzilla though because of...well....it's obvious." She flicked her tail, eventually causing Kanna to jump off and pretend she's an Olympic gymnast before running back to her brother. Ara stood back up to her full height and looked down to the two. "Perhaps I could walk you home while we talk? I wouldn't mind seeing where Kanna lived. She's always talking about her favorite books and toys and how great her house is." Kanna giggled loudly as Ara's tail brought her up and down, like a see-saw. She made her gymnastic dismount, gave Ara's leg a quick hug, and returned to her brother's side. "Yes, that makes sense," Kentaro said when Mrs. Jira explained her situation. "You seem well suited for physical education, and it looks like you're pretty great with kids" Ken reached out his hand to meet hers for the handshake. His entire hand would fit into her palm. "Yes, that would be nice. We don't live too far, about six blocks." They began walking towards Ken and Kanna's home. The group got looks from other passersbys, but that was something Ken and his family were used to anyways. X-Forms always get plenty of weird looks. Ken was sure Ara was familiar with the feeling as well, probably to a greater degree. Ken looked at Kanna, happily skipping alongside them, humming a children's song. He would do anything for her, and it made his heart swell to see her so happy. "It's so nice of you to make time for the community, not a lot of pro heroes think about those things. So thank you. It means a lot to her." Edited by Ogaman, Oct 6 2017, 09:26 AM.

"Pro hero?" Ara kept her gait small for someone her size as well as slowed down so Kentaro and Kanna could keep up. Yeah each footstep was met with a thud that both could feel. Not only was she tall, she must've been incredibly heavy. "I'm not really a pro hero....no license. I figured they wouldn't want someone like me. I'm mostly a caretaker for the town. Stop a few crimes, protect the kids, nothing really impressive." People stared as the three walked past, causing Ara to frown and avoid eye contact. "I doubt the people would want me to be a pro hero as well. Someone with my size and strength would just cause more destruction than they'd prevent." Ara looked to Kentaro before realizing she never got his name. Kanna would talk about her brothers but she wasn't sure which one he was. "Sorry, what was your name again? Are you Kentaro?" She asked sheepishly. |

Ken's eyes went up in surprise. "Oh, yeah, I'm sorry! I never introduced myself. Yeah, Kentaro's my name, but I usually just go by Ken." "I'm surprised you're not certified though, really." He said after a moment's pause. "With how crazy the world seems to be getting, we could really use a hero as impressive as yourself. And it seems like you make a great effort to be conscientious of your size, I bet you'd do great if you went professional." Kanna had taken a break from her childhood jubilee to listen to the two grown-ups. "Yeah Mrs. Jira!!! You could be the bestest hero! No bad guy could get you!" She said, beaming brightly up to Ara. |

Ara smiled and patted Kanna's head. She was modest but it was obvious she loved positive attention and compliments as much as the next person. "I don't know if I'm strong enough to be a professional hero. I don't even know martial arts and all I have is my mouth laser." She responded, "The pro heroes I've read about all seem far more powerful than anything I could achieve...That Lucy woman, for example, there's no way I could compete with her. Though, I suppose I could give it a try...by the way, are you a student at U.A.? You have that...air about you." Edited by shogungari, Oct 6 2017, 09:08 PM.

"Y-y-your mouth laser?" Ken asked in surprise. Mrs. Jira certainly wasn't like anyone he had ever met. Her size alone made her an impressive character, let alone the ability to shoot a laser from her face. "That's super..." he tried to find the right word, but it escaped him "Super." "No, I'm not a student at UA just yet," Kentaro said, his hand reaching towards the back of his head. "I'm a couple of weeks too young, they wouldn't let me apply this year, despite finishing school." "Sucks though, I don't really have anything to do while I wait around for next year's exam. I don't know what to really do with myself." |

"I'd show you but it's pretty destructive...I only use it when I'm not near the village." She said with a prideful grin. It's one of the few things she liked about herself. Despite it beginning as a typical scream of anguish years of controlling her anger and frustration had given her control over it. Ara listened to Kentaro speak and thought to herself. This kid is looking to get into U.A. and she needed a hero license. The answer was clear. "Well...perhaps I could tutor you?" She said after a moment of silence. "I would like to get my license as well, by training you I train myself. I normally don't have anything to do after I play with the kids. I don't even have a home to go to. Plenty of free time." |

Kentaro and Kanna both were appreciative of the company on the walk home. It was always nice to meet good people, and it seemed like Mrs. Jira needed friends too. "That's probably appreciated, death lasers rights are usually reserved for the pros," Kentaro said with a smile. "Really, you think we could do that?" He said with a hopeful glint in his eyes. "I could use as much help as I can get, and you seem like you're more than capable!" The three rounded a corner this time instead of crossing the street. "Well, this is my street." He said, almost regretfully. Mrs. Jira didn't have a home to go to? And wherever she did live, it was out of town. What a rough life. "Would you like to come over for dinner later tonight? I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind, they'd be happy to meet one of Kanna's teachers, and I'm sure they'd want to meet someone who was gonna tutor me." Kanna bounced up and down excitedly "Oh PWEASE Mrs. Jira, that would be so cool!" |

Ara looked over the house. It was so small to her. "Uh...I'd love to, but I don't think I can fit..." She said, chuckling nervously and scratching her cheek. "But yes, I'd be happy to train Kanna's big brother. We can meet up every day you come to pick her up if you'd like. I live outside of town- you can't miss me." Kanna looked just about on the brink of tears. "Tha's okay Mrs. Jira, I understand." It was obvious she was trying to be mature about it, she was a lot like Kentaro in the sense. Always trying to act older than they were. "Maybe another day," Ken said, nodding to Ara and trying to make Kanna feel better. "We could have dinner in our backyard or something, where you don't have to worry about ceilings." "I would really appreciate that, Mrs. Jira," Ken said after Kanna seemed to have calmed down. "I'll see you soon" With that, Ken and Kanna started walking up the driveway towards their front door. |

Ara nodded and waved to them as they walked inside. She felt bad about having to deny dinner but with her size she would most likely destroy the house. Hopefully Kanna forgave her, the last thing she wanted was seeing a child cry. Her heart wouldn't be able to take it. One good thing occurred though- a chance to tutor someone into getting U.A. Her walk home was happier than normal because of that thought. It was something she not-so-secretly looked forward to. The smile on her face remained strong as people avoided the giantess' movement out of the village. (Exit) Edited by shogungari, Oct 7 2017, 12:01 AM.
