Hikaru would display a slight frown as Akira was not to fond of the nic-name. It was ok though Hikaru was sure he would grow to like it. Akira would then Use her cane to hobble off the bus , and go help other injured people. Not before thanking her by name though , which made the girl grin again..Meanwhile Hikaru would talk to the Kabuki kid. Who had commented on meeting new people, and how it was nice. Hikaru simply had to say "Likewise."

In this moment another boy would call her name , and she would look over. He clearly looked as though there was something important on His mind. "I'll go get Aki-chan." She proclaimed hoping off the buss , and walking over to him. Though he seemed to already be walking over so Hikaru just ended up following him. Was he shirtless? Hikaru blushed a bit. The blue haired boy was close to shirtless at least.

Hikau would ask questions on the way to the other two boys. "What happened to your shirt? How tall are you? ar-are those wings?" The girl would wait for a moment before saying "Aki-chan?" with a quizzical look. The two would arrive over to the Kabuki, and a new boy. "Hiya I'm Hikaru." She would say but not before being interrupted by the wad of cash.

The boys seemed to be talking about the money as if they have never seen that much before. "It's just 90,000 yen." The concept of common wealth was slightly lost on Hikaru. Maybe not everyone thought of it this way either way though it didn't matter. They had to get it back to the rightful owner.

The kabuki would then summon a small ghost dog. "Is that a Puppy!" Hikarus face lit up . Her eyes gleaming Like one of her swords. "That's so cool." the dog would then dispersal and return. Kabuki then would explain his quirk. After hearing it Hikaru would whine a bit saying "Aww that's so cool. All I can do is make steel out of my body." The girl would then hold up her fingers and change them to mundane house hold items. Such as a key , and a letter opener.

Returning to Normal Hikaru would look at the cash , and offer an idea. putting her fist into the palm of her Hand. "How about we ask them how much money was lost. If they get the number right then it's theirs!" Though their were many flaws with this plan . Hikaru had a triumphed look on her face.

Modoru loosened his grip on the money as the others joined him. While they discussed the possibilities Modoru began to pace in a small circle. At the mention of a possibility of someone having stole the money Modoru shook his head. He stopped his pacing to turn to the others as he spoke. "This money is odd, but some people are like my grandparents and don't trust banks to hold it."

Their discussion was paused as the man, Dongo he thought, said he had something that could help. Modoru's eyes widened at the ghostly hound that appeared next to the white faced guy. After the explanation of the ghostly images, Modoru nodded along. Then Hikaru suddenly changed her fingers into various metallic shapes. Suddenly Modoru was feeling out of his depth. The heroism book was probably one of theirs.

With a nervous smile Modoru bent over to grab a stone next to his feet."Well you two have quite the quirks. I suppose fair is fair, my quirk lets me make things I touch bouncy." As he finished his explanation, Modoru skipped the rock along the hill like it was water. With that out of the way it was time to get back to business. "Asking people about money might be risky if someone lies about it. But if we don't have any other options...

When Modoru noticed the shirtless boy limping in their direction he dropped the money in the friendly kabuki's lap and jogged over. He offered the taller boy a hand, walking on an incline with only one good leg would be difficult even with a cane."Here let me help you with that. Also I ask you to not make a big commotion, but we have found a large sum of money that was lost by one of the people on the bus. As the two joined the group a few steps away Modoru spoke to the blue hair boy in a quiet voice. "Also I'm sorry if I got your name wrong."

Now that they had four people here they could surely come up with a plan to solve this money dilemma. As much as Modoru would like to just ask people, he knew from a number of test that a lucky guess was all they needed. If one of the injured had the lost money, their newest arrival would know. Modoru made one final suggestion as the group talked about what to do. "I say we give the money to whoever lost it. It doesn't matter how they got it, that is for the cops to decide one we can get help here."

God I hope this legs heals in time for the exams... I'll have even less of a chance. He sighed to himself, barely able to make it up the hill even with the help of the cane Hikaru had given him. He was exhausted from using his quirk to heal and aid so many people, but he enjoyed it greatly. Despite the fact his bed side manner had been dreadful for every adult he aided, it still put a warmness in his heart that he was able to help people. It was not enough for him to drop his guard, but it was enough to make him smile to himself. Just barely.

The real joy, however, came from the young children he was able to help. Their ages had ranged from two to nine, and helping each one of them brought Akira and almost giddy sense of joy. Watching the tears and grimaces of pain give way to smiles and giggles before his eyes was indescribably satisfying. Even so, he felt a slight twinge of pain in his chest, remembering all the time he had been able to heal and comfort his younger brother. Even though helping other children made the Faerie feel a bit better, it could never even begin to make up for what he had lost.

"What happened to your shirt? How tall are you? Ar-are those wings?"

The words Akira heard pulled him out of his minor reverie and back into the real world. "Shirt? What do you mean wear's my-" Before Akira could finish uttering his question, he glanced down at himself. He had intended to look down so he could gesture to wear his shirt was, but soon realized he barely had one. His skin was completely exposed. Though his body was certainly nothing to be ashamed of, he couldn't help but feel intensely uncomfortable and bashful. "What the hell?" the boy mumbled to himself in utter shock, struggling to maintain an expressionless face.

It was then it occurred to Akira that he had most likely used scraps of his shirt to help make bandages and splints for the people in the crash. He had been so caught up in the moment he hadn't even realized he had left his torso mostly naked. All that was left around his neck was the collar of what used to be his dress shirt, but he quickly tore it off and threw it aside. It was of no use to him now. The way his body glowed when fully exposed like this, especially with how uncomfortable he felt, was more than enough to light up the area around him. As he finally turned to meet Hikaru's gaze, he realized something. Is... Is she blushing? The way her eyes seemed to study him was enough to make Akira blush as well. Did she really have to look so cute?!

He shook the thoughts out of his head as quickly as they appeared. No, don't be stupid, Akira. She's blushing because she's embarrassed to see a stranger like this. You know that no one could ever admire you like that. Though he certainly wasn't happy about his current situation, the Faerie was more than happy to stretch his wings out. The way the his fluorescent pink and blue wings caught the light gave them an almost ethereal appearance. The way the dust he exuded from his skin shimmered in the light was all too eye catching, which only served to deepen Akira's feelings of discomfort. "If you really must know, I'm 6'1, but these shoes make me appear taller. And yes, these are wings. Did you really need to ask that?' His tone was filled with condescension, though he was unsure if the girl could even detect it. He kept his gaze steely, his expression completely blank as the two made it up the hill.

There was that name again though, the one that had made him blush and freeze up back on the bus. "Aki-chan?" This time, however, the boy didn't let it have such an effect on him. Though his expression wavered slightly, and the intensity of his glow heightened for a mere second, he kept himself level headed. He would not slip up any more. As much as he wanted to deny it, it was truly difficult to stop the warmness from rising to his cheeks. The girl was undeniably cute, and coupled with her bubbly manner, it was hard to avoid giving in a bit. The blue-haired boy towered over her, only making her appear more adorable in comparison. He would really have to try his best to keep himself in check.

As the two approached, he noticed a bag in the short boy's hands, though he couldn't quite make it out. Before he could get much closer, the bag was dropped into the lap of the kabuki kid as the original holder rushed to Akira's aid. It didn't take long for the boy to explain himself. "Large sum of money? That's what that bag is then." The Faerie stated the last bit simply, standing over the young Kabuki boy as he stared down at the unmarked bag. He hadn't even noticed the boy call his name directly in the first place, so he didn't much care if he had gotten it right or wrong.

Akira was suddenly startled by two spectral dogs floating down towards the kabuki faced boy. He instinctively began to stumble backwards, barely able to keep himself upright with the cane. What the hell are those? Before the blue haired boy could form his thoughts into a question, it was answered right before his eyes. The boy simply explained it was part of his quirk, and that he could manifest them at certain distances. It was certainly interesting, and the dogs were pretty cute themselves. Despite you know, the whole dead thing.

"That's stolen." Akira announced plainly, using his free hand to gesture down at the bag. He had seen his parents return home with similar unmarked bags before. It was possible the money wasn't stolen, but the blue haired boy was sure no one simply carried such a large sum of money around like that in a plain sack. "I'm sure the authorities will be here shortly. Just hold onto the money until then. Try not to show it to anyone else." Akira asked no questions and didn't very much listen to the other boys. He was sure just holding onto it and waiting for the police to arrive was the right solution.

Then something occurred to Akira regarding something he had seen earlier. "There was a man earlier. He kept mumbling about money. He was acting suspicious. He just boarded the bus again before I got here. We should be careful." Every word the boy said was monotone, without a single ounce of concern present. It wasn't long before a loud stomping sound came from the doors of the bus, the suspicious man angrily stepping out of them once more. His eyes darted around wildly, looking for some sign of the cash. IT wouldn't be long before his eyes fell towards the group of four.

It wasn’t until both of his ghosts had faded back into the void that he noticed the reactions of the group. He was met with eager admiration from the girl, tacit approval from the shorter boy, and what seemed like abject horror from Stretch McSparkles. These were roughly the reactions he was used to. Occasionally he would meet someone who appreciated the aesthetic of how his quirk manifested the way this girl did, but in time most grew distrustful of the skill set such a quirk implied.

More than once, incidents that didn’t relate to him had been pinned on him simply because it was the simplest explanation. Someone’s lunch went missing? Ghost boy must have fed it to his pets. Strange noises heard in the girl’s locker room, chalk-face must be perving on them with his shady dogs. Most of these accusations stemmed from misunderstandings on how his quirk actually worked, the ghosts couldn’t eat, nor did he share any sensory communication with the hounds beyond their empathetic link. Heck, they could barely communicate with him.

What was worse than the speculators, were those who knew full well what his quirk was able to do. They were the ones who kept their distance, silently interacting with him only through cautious glares. Like his father, his quirk could get into peoples heads, and it wasn’t hard to assume the apple hadn’t fallen far from the tree. Even if he didn’t admit it openly, he harbored the fear somewhere that they were right. Trying to clear his head of the pessimistic train of though, he instead payed attention to the explanation the others gave regarding their own skill sets. His face smirking slightly in disbelief regarding the trivial way the girl played down her own quirk.

Crossing his arms Kongo looked to each of them as they weighed in on the situation. He quirked up his eyebrow a bit as he found differing opinions amongst his peers. “I don’t think confrontation is in our best interest." He had been canvasing the crowds as he spoke, trying to place the individual mentioned by the Bishonen Butterfly. "Regardless of the questionable innocence of the funds, I get the impression the police will be better suited to sort out the matter of locating its owner.” He cocked his head as his eyes fell upon the bus and locked gaze with the angry individual. “Cause its either that we’re holding onto a nest-egg of the disestablishment... or we’re way in over our heads.”

Hikaru found it hard to track everything the boys were saying, but when it got boiled down her plan wasn't good, and they needed a better solution. She listened to each of them speak carefully. Clearly none of them had the proper training for this sort of thing. However the other boys seemed all nice so she was glad they found it. Hikaru put her fingers to her temple to think for a moment. It was certainly an odd situation.

This is when Akira had mentioned the shady man who had entered the bus. Very noticeably Hikaru snapped her neck to see the back of the bus. Just in time to see a shady man as aforementioned exit the bus. His angry gaze locked with the group of four teenagers. It was clear he had hostile intent towards them. Hikaru wasn't one to bet, but if she did it would be on this man owning the money. legal or not that wasn't for them to decide.

However on the off chance they were wrong? Hikaru's head began once again like times past to berate itself with questions. Who was he? what did he want? Was he going to attack? Is he innocent ? or was he guilty? One thing was for sure he had a look to kill as he began to take a step towards them. The other passengers were still around the front of the bus. So it was this man and the four of them. If the enigma was anything the like the last villain she had fought. It could prove to be problematic.

The shady man would proceed to take another step. Hikaru reacting before the boys would put her hand out as if to protect them. Hikarus hand would end up on Akiras chest. "Wait here." she would say in a monotone voice that was dripping with gravity. As if her personality took a complete 180 degrees. She took a few steps forward. The shady figured man would stop in his tracks. Continuing her death stare she would ask "May I help you?" Her words as serious as her tone. The man would reply with a gravely voice "Yeah, I know you kids found my money!"

At this Hikaru would think for a moment. The tension had gotten so thick one might be able to cut it with a knife. After thinking carefully of her response. Hikaru would say "We found money , but it belonged to The Kabuki over there." She would say gesturing to the boy. "A measly 200 yen is enough to get you riled up?" The man's face would look confused , and then angry. He would then brush the girl off , and go back to the bus. Hikaru would let out a sigh of relief before joining the boys again.

Her demeanor and voice were back to her bubbly cheery self. Hikaru would look to Modoru and say. "Well I think that will take care of him if only for a little while longer." She would pause to go into a thought, that she would think out loud. "I hope he doesn't want a fight. I really don't feel like going to the hospital again." she would say nonchalantly. "He was scary looking." She would say recounting the events of the past two minutes. Then it hit her that she Had touched Akira's chest.

The girls eyes widened as she looked to Akira. Hikarus heart started to pound as she realized the error of her action. In the moment she had just done it without thinking about it, but now... Her face would turn almost completely blush red. Her hand's would bring themselves to her face to try and cover her embarrassment. Hikaru would crouch down knees locked together she would stand crouched for only a second before plopping down on her side in the same position. all that would be hear after is a mouse like squeak of a voice. "Gomenasai Aki-chan".

Wiping the sweat from his brow, Modoru sighed in relief. The white haired girl had a strange personality, but she got the shady man off of their case for now. Everyone else seemed to think the money stolen, and his gut was starting to agree with them. Modoru watched as the strange man walked away from the group, and whispered to the others. "If the money isn't good to have here, maybe when we go for help someone should take it with them?"

Modoru stopped to look down the road the direction the supposed help would be. He couldn't see whatever was down there, so it would be quite the walk. If they stayed here too long the shady man might try to start a fight. "I can go with some others to keep money safe, but it looks like it will be a long walk. I feel like taking the money with us might be a safer idea, but I'll leave that up to you three to decide on," Modoru said before heading over to the crowd of other victims of the accident.

Once there he assured everyone had all of their belongings, but the shady man kept quiet. He finally relaxed enough to smile thanks to calm nature the small group had. Modoru announced to the crowd of people, "Listen up everyone. Some of us that aren't injured too bad are going to try going down the road to make a call for help. It shouldn't be too long, so please stay safe." Hopefully the walk and help getting here wouldn't take too long. Modoru noted the sun had started to set, probably getting close to evening at this point.

Returning to the smaller group, Modoru rubbed the back of his head. "I've just told the others and they seem fine with it. I'm not sure who is coming with me, but I feel like only two of us should go. The others can stay here to make sure that shady guy doesn't cause any trouble. Also I would feel bad asking someone with a bad leg to walk so far." Modoru said as he stared at the cane the tallest of the group was using. Hopefully Akira wouldn't take it as an insult, but he was already walking around much more than Modoru expected someone with that kind of injury to.

Having done everything he could for the bus, Modoru started back up the hill to the road. Whoever joined him would make good company, all the others seemed like good people. While it was tempting to use his quirk to speed up getting to the destination, Modoru knew it wouldn't be the lawful thing to do. He waved goodbye to the others around the stranded bus as he walked along side the wooded road. "I suppose I should formally introduce myself. Subete, Modoru. And should we put the pedal to the metal?" Modoru asked as they started down the empty road, unsure of what their destination even was.

The Kabuki boy truthfully did have a good point. Confrontation was not in the best interest of the group. A situation with a shady bag of cash plus a fight wouldn't end well for anyone involved, but it appeared they wouldn't have much of a choice. Though he wanted to address that the Kabuki had been right, the suspicious man Akira had seen earlier began making his way towards them.

Shit he sees us. What do we do? The Faerie's fight or flight response was the first thing to kick in, trying to decide what his best option would be. He wasn't quite sure how he didn't see something so obvious coming. He should have put two and two together immediately after the shorter boy had told him about the money, but failed to do so. Why else would the man look so paranoid? Why else would he have stormed on board a crashed bus? Running wasn't exactly an option for Akira considering his current leg injury, so he just stood, trying to keep a steady gaze trained on the man who was now angrily stomping towards the group. He considered trying to take action or to intercept the suspect's approach. The boy's faerie dust was incredibly distracting and could probably deter the man from approaching further, but such an act wouldn't be smart. Akira, however, wasn't thinking very rationally at the moment. He was prepared to hobble forward as fast as he could and throw a cloud of dust in the man's face as if to say Stay away!. But just as he began to take his first step forward, that was when Hikaru reached out to touch him.

It wasn't forceful, in fact it didn't even appear to be intentional, but nevertheless it still happened. If it was possible for Akira to become even more of a deer in the headlights in that moment, he definitely would have. Sure he wasn't necessarily a stranger to human contact, but this was different than what he was used to. Of course there had been plenty of times he had taken care of his younger brother, holding him even. It was quite usual for his little cousins to hug him and jump on him and all things of that nature, but this was far different. The touch came from a stranger, yet the skin to skin contact somehow made it far more intimate that Akira was ready for. The blue-haired boys lack of a shirt certainly didn't help the situation. What do I do? Do I just knock her hand away? It actually feels kind of... Nice. Hikaru should have certainly felt his heart rate drop and then suddenly quicken, even if her hand touched his chest for only a mere few seconds. No, don't get used to this. It's not like she meant to or anything. You have to make sure nothing like this happens again.

Whatever Hikaru had said, he didn't hear it. Whatever Hikaru had done, he didn't see it. He was too wrapped up in his own thoughts.

All he could feel after that was the heat rising to his cheeks, despite the fact that this contact for anyone else would have been fairly normal, even welcome in many cases. Hikaru was certainly attractive, and most boys Akira's age would have been overjoyed to have her attention. Akira himself, on the other hand, became so shocked by such a simple act he was frozen in place. His hand was locked on the cane she had given him, clamped in his fingers as if locked in a vice grip. It was honestly a bit pathetic that a wannabe hero like Akira was so shaken up by just an unexpected touch. By the time Akira had fully shaken himself out of this, the man had walked away and Hikaru was standing in front of the group once more.

Wh-What happened? Where'd the guy go? I didn't think we could get out of that easily but... He looked to Hikaru, whose demeanor appeared to be completely happy and bubbly as she talked about how scary the man had been. It looks as if she got us out of this one. Perhaps I didn't take her seriously enough... Whatever had happened, the man was currently out of their hair, and that was surely the most important part of the situation. Modoru suggested that the money be taken from the situation, and though that was probably the best choice, there were a few glaring flaws in such a plan.

Before Akira could begin to address these flaws, however, he noticed Hikaru suddenly acting strangely out of the corner of his eye. Her legs locked up, her eyes widened, and her body appeared to start shaking. It looked like she was going into shock or maybe having some sort of seizure. What the hell?! Is she okay? What do I do if something bad is happening? I don't have my medical tools on me and I-"

"Gomenasai Aki-chan!"

A-Aki-chan? Again with that name?! Akira had no idea what was wrong with the girl despite the obvious signs of embarrassment. Unfortunately, the blue haired boy was far more used to experiencing embarrassment first hand rather than seeing someone else go through the emotion. Though he was quick to assume her embarrassment earlier, his mind had currently jump to the assumption she had been injured. Had something happened to her when he zoned out earlier? Has the scary man hurt her? Hikaru?! What's wrong? Are you okay? I told you not to call me that name!" Akira began to crawl in her direction to try to access the situation. After realizing nothing was wrong, the boy would sigh with a mixture of relief and frustration. "There's no need to make such a fuss like that. You might worry someone. He scolded before getting a hold of himself, turning so he could sit and face the other two boys as he addressed them. "Baka..." He muttered almost inaudibly.

"It's a lose lose situation." Akira remarked, lowering himself slowly down towards the ground to take the weight off of his leg. Though he tried to make it seem as though he was just taking a rest, he couldn't endure standing on his injured leg much longer. The adrenaline had warn off long ago and the pain was too intense to handle. His face, if only for a second, contorted into a grimace as he sat down. "Leaving the money here with such an aggressive person looking for it certainly isn't a good situation. The man will come for the money and confront whoever is left here. We won't exactly have a big numbers advantage if one or two of us leave to find help. That leaves whoever is left behind in a dangerous situation." The boy took a break in his thought, laying the cane down beside him, rubbing his left shoulder, which had begun to ache, with his right hand.

"On the other hand, taking the money away from the scene appears better on the surface, but is riskier than you might think. If that money is stolen like I'm sure it is, it has the potential to lead to an unpleasant situation. If that money was stolen, the authorities are looking for it. If the authorities see two strange looking kids, walking along the side of the road by themselves with an unmarked bag, well, you know the rest, I'm sure." Akira said each word as if he knew he was absolutely correct, his tone sprinkled with condescension. This, was of course, nothing but an act.

"The best bet is probably to leave the money here with me." He looked over at the bag that was still resting in the Kabuki's lap before he began once again. "When the man came over here, the bag was in his lap." He continued, gesturing towards the painted young man. "So if the man comes back and sees he's gone, he'll probably be looking for him rather than search for who actually has it." Akira gazed around at the other three, trying to gauge their reactions. "Finally, even if he does realize I have the money, what is he going to do? Attack a cripple? Even further, the doctor that just healed all the men, women, and children aboard the bus? Not likely. It's a risk I'm willing to take." Akira finished strong, but worried about how the other three would respond. The boy suddenly realized how long he had been speaking, the urgency of the situation having had taken him over momentarily. He clammed up and waited to hear what the other had to say.

Akira allowed himself to listen to Modoru just long enough to understand what's happening. "Yeah go ahead. I can't walk anymore anyway. Like I said the money is best off with me. Just leave it here, I can hide it under some rocks or branches or something." Akira simply left it at that, expecting the two of them to listen and give him the cash before they walked away.

Tensing up as the man approached, Kongo’s lips began to curl as he braced to whistle. He dreaded the idea that the situation would descend on a fight, but if aggressions continued to rise he would have no choice but to defend himself. Moments before he signaled his hounds to materialize, the silver haired girl took initiative and disarmed the situation. "We found money, but it belonged to The Kabuki over there…” He had a name… “A measly 200 yen is enough to get you riled up?" It wasn’t until he had turned his back and wandered away that Kongo dropped his guard, letting out a long sigh of relief. “That went better than I expected… That was some quick thinking Miss Silver.” Smirking he raised her a thumbs up, but found she was already enraptured with the sparkling adolescent. With a slowly rising brow he watched the continued development of what seemed to be the cheesiest rom-com blossom before his eyes. This was becoming a little too dramatic for his tastes, and that was coming from a man wearing theater makeup. He cleared his throat before crossing his arms and facing away from the group to stare in the direction his pets had signaled. “Ghosts aren’t too good at gauging distance… this could be a bit of a hike.“

He placed the bag down beside the fairy, and listened to his explanation of potential events. His theory was sound, but the small details weren’t fully adding up. A whole bag for just 200 yen? The money had been identified as his, so why would he leave his money with a stranger? In consistencies were adding up, and if their deception was found out the one who would would have to face the clearly violent individual was an injured doctor. Kongo cocked his head, intricate plans were not his forte, games like chess and shogi were better suited for the patient, his game of choice was cards. He wracked his brain trying to think of a way to keep the lie up while still going for help, but most of his strategizing was done on the fly. “I’m not about to dump all the danger onto an injured ally… I have an idea but I need you both to follow my lead” He fished through his coat and retrieved the plastic GameShop bag containing his prized Neo-Goemon, swapping the wad of cash and the game. As he straightened himself, tossing the bag to Akira’s feet, he offered them an apologetic wince before shutting his eyes and getting into character. His sweet goofy composure seemed to warp as he furrowed his brow and scowled at Akira and Hikaru.

“Finder’s fee!?” he shouted as he swung the bag over his shoulder, making a bit of a spectacle of himself. Spitting at the ground in front of Hikaru he puffed up his chest. “Fat chance, I don’t care how nice the bag is, I can smell a rip off when I see one.” In a dramatic huff he spun around, nudging Modoru with a wink as he started to walk in the direction the ghosts had shown. “C’mon, he said gesturing to him with his head. “Let’s ditch these losers…” Regardless of strategy, he hoped his makeshift ruse would cover their asses should the dangerous man grow suspicious. If he decided to go after them, they would have a lead and could always toss the bag to shake him off their trail. If the two were questioned by the police, they technically didn’t have anything illicit on their persons. The only real casualty in this scenario was most of the bystanders would think of Kongo less as that strange Kabuki boy, and more as that loud jerk he yelled at an altruistic cripple and a high school girl.

As they cleared the first bend, obscuring them from the view of the gathered passengers, Kongo whistled out to bring one of his hounds back to join them, “Ok… lead the way girl…” and turning to grin sheepishly at Modoru with a nod, “Nice to meet you formally, I’m Kongo Danjuro… lets hit the road!” Picking up the pace a little, the dog began to veer a bit off the road, guiding them through a bit of wooded area. A good ways out, the forest cleared to reveal a semi-busy highway, two lanes closed off as a road-crew worked to resurface a segment of the road. As they arrived, Kongo gave the helpful hound a thankful pat on the head and let her slip back out of existence. “Someone here has to have a working phone or radio.”

Hikaru could barley hear what the boys were talking about. Caught up in her own embarrassment. She had touched a boys chest, and it was Aki-chans chest. She kept replaying the scenario in her head. What did Aki think of her. Maybe he was mad at her because she touched him. It was an accident no doubt. So why did she feel so embarrassed. The girl thought about the way it had felt. It was firm, but cold on the surface. Though that was most likely because it was breezy day. Still It was going to be an awkward uphill battle to come back from this. Hikaru also had though she felt his heartbeat flutter, but convinced herself otherwise.

Then he yelled at her again for using the nickname Aki-chan again. Her body would rattle before tensing up. Why was he so mad at her for that of all things. After all it was just a nickname, and a good one at that. Then He would yell at her again before telling not to worry people. How could she not worry people she was worried about herself. Why did she feel this way , its not like she liked Akira or anything she barely knew him. Hikaru would hear the plan that Akira suggested, and that's when her embarrassment vanished. She got herself to a sitting position , and looked at Akira.

"We shouldn't put ourselves in Danger!" her tone , and voice serious. "People who put themselves in danger thinking they are some kind of hero will get hurt!" Hikaru said getting angry. It was noble of Akira to offer to put himself in a dangerous situation, but Hikaru wasn't having it. "No ones going to get hurt, because of me again." She said with a somber face. Hikaru would then have flash backs to the scene in Tokyo. The flames that had engulfed her ,and seared her skin , Then the image of Kawa a child who was burnt to a crisp because she made a mistake.

Hikaru would Look at Akira directly to his eyes. Her eyes glistening on the verge of tears, "I'm staying here with you, men aren't beyond attacking a cripple." If men could attempt murder on small children then a cripple was no different. This would be when Kabuki had an Idea. In what seemed like a flash he executed it perfectly. After he spit , and began to walk away. Hikaru would stand up , and yell "Well who needs ya!" Though it was clearly forced. After the two boys left, she would look to Akira. Taking off her sweater she would be wearing a Tank top underneath it. Hikaru would put the sweater on Akiras back. "Here its cold out." She would say before sitting down with her knees up and her arms crossed over it. "Gomenasai... Kiyoshi- san" The girl would say clearly upset.

From his spot down the road, Modoru winced as he watched the group seemingly get into an argument. He was sure it was an act, but did they really need to make such a big deal out of it? After Kongo introduced himself Modoru felt more at ease, hopefully, he could remember it. "That quirk of yours sure is interesting. Do you have to feed them or anything like that?" Modoru asked as he pointed at the ghostly dog. A quirk like this was new to Modoru, but being able to learn about it could be valuable.

The increased pace wasn't an issue for Modoru to keep up with. The real trouble he had was dealing with the various insects and branches in his face as the pair followed the ghost dog through a section of woods. When they finally reached their destination, a semi-busy highway, Modoru squinted to find someone with a phone. Thanks to Kongo pointing it out, Modoru sighed in relief at the site of a construction crew. After making sure no cars were coming, Modoru would dash across the highway to the construction area. "I'm sorry to bother you all, but do any of you have a phone I could borrow? There was an accident some distance away and we couldn't get a signal over there. And my phone's battery died before the accident." Modoru explained while motioning back to treeline.

Most of the construction workers just gave Modoru a confused look, but a larger one with a tail coming out of their back approached him. The man spoke in a deep, masculine voice to Modoru, "Are you doing alright kid? You pullin' a prank or somethin'?" In response, Modoru shook his head, "No please I only need a few minutes. There are a large number of people that are stuck in the middle of nowhere right n... The pause came from Modoru stumbling back. Running his hands through his hair to regain his composure, Modoru found a smear of blood in the palm of one hand.

"Oh shit, someone get me a water!" The man shouts to the other workers on the patch of road before handing over a cell phone to Modoru, "Here, make a call quick." Modoru bowed to the man before turning to Kongo with a soft smile. "Sorry, but I think it's best if you explain the whole thing. I'm gonna go take a seat over and make sure this is nothing serious. Thank you." Modoru would say before heading with the tailed man to one of the trucks used to haul construction vehicles around. Today had been a long day for the boy and at this point, it was safe to say he was done running around to help others.

"Look. It's fine. Don't worry about it." Though Akira wasn't even sure what it was she was upset about, he tried to calm her down anyway. He wasn't sure why she seemed so suddenly flustered after she had supposedly handled the angry man with ease. Though he hadn't seen what happened between the two of them, for he was too lost in his trance, could that interaction have had something to do with it? Surely it wasn't possible this came from the way she touched him... Right? No, no don't be daft. Perhaps it's... Delayed shock from the accident? Or maybe some adverse emotional reaction from her confrontation with the suspicious guy? Whatever the case, it appeared that she hadn't received any new physical injury, aside from that broken nose of hers. It was still a bit unsightly to look at, but the boy was sure he had set it properly. However, once had finished going over his plan, it was clear he had touched a nerve.

She collected herself all at once, berating him for trying to be a hero in this situation. It was almost as if she was worried about him or something of the sort, but it couldn't possibly be worry. There's no reason for her to spend time worrying about a half-naked stranger. Shouldn't she be worrying about herself? Why is she so worried about this? What did Hikaru mean she said no one would get hurt because of her? "This isn't about you. This isn't about me being a hero. It's about making sure this money ends up in the right hands. I'm not in this to be a hero." He tried to push himself to stand, as if to prove he was alright, but the opposite happened. He made it up to a crouching position before his broken leg gave out from under him, knocking him back down to quite the uncomfortable sitting position. It's no good. The adrenaline has warn off. If I try to stand without help again, it'll make it worse. Through a grimace and a bit of humiliation, he continued. "I'm not getting hurt because of you either way. This isn't about you." He seethed through clenched teeth.

Though Hikaru was right, Akira didn't seem to care. His eyes showed no sign of backing down from his position, glaring at her with his eyes but not turning his head towards her. "Fine. You can stay, but-" That was when the Kabuki slung the bag of cash over his shoulder, shouting something before taking off down the road. "Wait! That wasn't the plan!" His words in general sounded genuine because they were. The boy had completely ignored Akira's plan and ran off with the money. Unknowingly, this had gone along perfectly with the Kabuki's idea. As the suspicious man came into vision once more, he looked in their direction again, but his eyes clearly did not find what they wanted to. He ran around the scene of the crash with a sense of panic, frantically looking for any sign of the Kabuki or his money, but found none. It was clear he was unsure of what to do next, but Akira stopped paying attention to him. Perhaps my plan wasn't very good after all. It was crazy of me to think they would listen anyways.

Akira's whole body started once he felt a sudden softness and warmness wrap itself around his shoulders. Quickly turning his head to see what was going on, his eyes saw Hikaru putting her sweater around his shoulders. Though he wanted to refuse this offer, she had put him in a position where it would be difficult to. He certainly wasn't the nicest of people, but simply tossing her sweater onto the ground seemed like a bit much. So rather than cruelly shrug the sweater off, he did the next best thing. "I'm fine. I'm not cold. It's not like I need this." Despite his protests, it did feel rather nice to have something cover him, even if just a bit. "You need this more than I do, you know." She didn't seem to care to listen as she sat beside him, clearly frustrated.

He wasn't sure how to go about this, or why he even wanted to. Perhaps it was that the girl had shown him a bit of kindness, but that had never stopped him from being rude before. How do I even do this? I've never exactly learned... Here goes nothing. Even though he was truly an expert at soothing and calming young children, doing the same for people his own age was so incredibly alien to him. So, albeit a bit awkwardly, he scooted a bit closer to her, so he could put a hand on her shoulder. Though his eyes were aimed towards the ground, it was clear he was speaking to her. "Stop apologizing, you didn't do anything wrong. Whatever you're upset about, I'm sure it's fine. I'm safe here anyways, see? Isn't this what you wanted? " Without thinking, his thumb rubbed itself forward and back over her shoulder, almost like a nervous habit of sorts. "No one got hurt because of you. Like you wanted. So everything is going to be okay, right? I'm sure help is on the way.

He wasn't sure how long the two sat there like that, but it seemed like it lasted some time. He pulled the sweater closer around him, for despite his protests, he was a bit cold. "I have new jackets and clothes in my shopping bags but I'm not sure where that boy put them and I can't exactly get up to get them. I'm not the only one who's cold, you know. He eyed the girl, who in just a tank top, must have been quite chilly herself. He asked no questions about why she got so upset, it wasn't his place to. He didn't move any closer or any farther away. He just sat there with his hand on her shoulder until the ambulance arrived. It felt kind of nice, albeit quite strange for him. The contact wasn't some sort of sudden surprise for him this time, like when she had so suddenly put a hand on his chest. No, this was pleasant and comfortable, unlike anything he had ever really felt before. Perhaps he should try this more often... No. You're not to ever let this happen again, Akira. Don't let yourself get used to this.

There were a few reporters, medical professionals, and police on the scene tending to the situation while Akira was helped towards an ambulance. To deal with his broken leg. He was sure someone would mention the blue haired boy who had tended to the wounded, despite the fact he didn't want any attention whatsoever. He had done none of it because of the fame or possible attention, it was simply the right thing to do. In any case, as he boarded the back of the ambulance to make his way to the hospital, his let himself wave goodbye to Hikaru. Though he would never openly admit it, he hoped he'd see her again someday. In fact, he'd hope to get another chance with the two boys as well. Someday... Akira thought, laying down in the back of the ambulance. Someday.

"That quirk of yours sure is interesting. Do you have to feed them or anything like that?"
Kongo had been thinking about his quirk a lot more lately. They had a while to walk, so a conversation seemed like a great way to pass the time. He stared down at the ghostly canine as he pondered the question himself “No, I’m not actually sure if they are even sentient beings, or just figments of my subconscious that my quirk manifests. When I was little, I could only make simple projections. Closer to balloon animals than an actual creature.” He smiled a bit, thinking back to the early days.

“I faintly remember my neighbors used to have dogs they let me play with when I was really little, I think they used to babysit me. My mom also used to take stays in when she found them, giving them some food and a simple bed before taking them to the pound… Guess overtime dogs just had that sorta effect on me.” There was no way of really proving whether or not his quirk used real ghosts, or if they were a strange construct of his mind. When he was young he though his quirk was just years of friendly dogs paying their respect to a woman who was kind to them by protecting her son.

After he dispelled their guide and called out for a phone, Kongo followed Modoru across the highway, tailing him as he asked around for help. When the tailed man stomped up to him, he almost felt his words catch in his throat. After everything that had transpired, he wasn’t sure why now of all times he was finding himself tongue-tied, thankfully Modoru stepped up to handle the introductions. Things got a little more unnerving once Modoru withdrew his hand to find a smear of blood on his palm, a sight that spooked even the pale ghost commanding Kabuki. "Sorry, but I think it's best if you explain the whole thing. I'm gonna go take a seat over and make sure this is nothing serious. Thank you."

“N-no problem… yeah I can handle the rest, you go sit down and get that looked at.” Taking the phone from him, Kongo dialed the emergency services number. By the time he had gotten through with the dispatch, several of the construction workers had gathered around the spectacle, filling the boy in on any information he didn’t know about their surroundings. Before long an ambulance had arrived to pick them up, and despite his objections to being injured, they gave Kongo an examination as well. An EMT flashed a light in Kongo’s eyes and poked and prodded the boy, which led to the discovery of a surprisingly large bruise surrounding his shoulder. “Oh… must have gotten that when I was thrown from my seat… didn’t think I landed that hard” He brushed off the paramedic’s concerns when he explained how he had thrown himself out of his own seat to save a video game. “Yeah yeah, seatbelts and safety… Wait, you don’t need to tell my folks about this… Right? Mom will kill me if she knew I blew my allowance on a video game.”

Hikaru had a pursed lip, that was a show of her melancholy. Hikaru had heard Akira move closer to her, but she did not look at him while he did so. This was until a warm hand had clasped her shoulder. Hikaru taking quite off guard by it looked at the boy who was in turn looking at the dirt. Hikarus heart beat would begin to rise. What was he doing? was he trying to make a move on her? now of all times? Then Akira had begun to talk telling her it wasn't her fault that any of this happened. At the mention of him being safe , Hikaru had to agree. However that was only because Buki-chan had enacted a plan of his own accord, and Hikaru had refused to go with them.If it wasn't for her stubbornness , and Kongos random plan that wouldn't of happened.

Akira continued to say that no one was hurt because of her. This time at least, but it was the small victory's that counted. He would then mention that , he had purchase jackets that were still on the bus. That's when it occurred to Hikaru that the people had yet to receive their stuff. Standing Up a little abruptly Hikaru would say "Thanks Kiyoshi-san. If the scary man comes for you call for me." The girl would then run off to the bus, and begin to grab bags , and distribute them out to their correct owners. It took some time , but everyone received their belongings. That was of course except the shady man.

As the police, medics, and reporters showed up Hikaru knew that Kongo and Modoru were successful in their attempts of reaching help. Before parting ways Hikaru would give the bags belonging to Akira to the medics of the ambulance. Then looking at Akira one last time he would wave farewell to her. Hikaru would smile ,and wave back saying "See ya later... Aki-chan!" loudly enough for it to be audible to the young man before they closed the doors. Only a moment would pass before Hikaru was swamped with people talking to her. The medics to make sure she was ok. Aside from the broken nose Hikaru was fine, and it was said that it would heal perfectly thanks to a certain Fairy.

The police questioned her on what had happened. Hikaru would explain the entire situation to them. From the crash to the four of them helping the people, and even about the cash and the shady man. It was a good thing she had as well. The money was in fact stolen from an old rich couple a few days ago. The shady man had matched the police reports perfectly. The police officers would arrest the man, and put him in the back of the police vehicle. Later they would contact the kabuki man and Modoru to retrieve the money. Hikaru asking one of the officers to take a package to Kongo. It would be none other then the Neo-Goemon game he prized so dearly. The officer obliged without hesitation.

After Hikaru was done with the Police the reporters would come asking her about what happened. The girl would explain everything for a second time. However she was interrupted with many questions so the story was spotty at best. They asked her many questions , and the girl would get a bit flustered. Though one question struck out ,and needed to be corrected. "How does it feel to be the sole hero of the bus event!?". Hikaru would correct the man immediately. "It wasn't just me. In fact if I am to be honest. I really didn't do much." She would scratch her head before continuing. "There were three boys who remained calm, and helped everyone." The male reporter would ask a follow up question. "What were their names?" Hikaru looked the man in the eyes, and answered without fail.

"The first was named Subete Modoru. He helped gather the belongings of everyone." Pausing to think she would continue with her thoughts."The second was Akira Kiyoshi! He was some kinda of doctor in training. Aki-chan helped the injured." She said with a bit of optimism in her voice. "The last , but by no means least was Kongo Danjuro, and he helped all the injured off the bus, and to a safe place." Hikaru smiled at having retold the tales of the three boys. "And what was that you did miss?" the reporter asked her. "I helped Everyone get their belongings that Modoru-san gathered.".One last question would come to the white haired girl. "What's your name?"

Hikaru smiled, and said "Hashira Hikaru"

An old cane that Akira obtained during the bus crash, while it's strong enough to carry his weight it's too worn-down to be useful for combat and will shatter beyond repair if hit by a D-tier technique or higher.
