Between cities a cramped bus traveled down the windy country roads. Those with open windows could feel the cool, clean air blow through their hair. The radio was playing a recent pop song from a band growing in popularity as people relaxed in their seats.

Without warning the bus driver slammed on the breaks and tries to control the bus as it skidded to a stop. But his attempts to correct went too fair, and it sent the bus back first sliding off the side of the road. Everyone in the bus was shook as the bus finally came to a stop with the front wheel still on the road and the back tires stuck in a small stream. There was groaning, crying, and the sound of a radio as the bus driver tried to contact someone.

Modoru checked the back of his head for blood and looked around at the seats next to him. His quirk meant he wasn't use to blunt force, so everything was still spinning to him. "Uugh my head, did anyone see what happened?" Modoru grumbled to the others seated around him.

After asking, Modoru would slowly get to his feet. Luckily he was at the back, so he didn't have to worry about sliding back into the bus more. This was really bad, if someone was hurt the nearest doctor could be miles away. "I think I only got a few bruises, how is everyone else doing?"

The boy carefully leaned next emergency exit in the back of the bus. When he noticed the stream he eyes went wide, but he couldn't say anything that might cause even more worry. If everyone from the bus all tried to rush out the back they might just make the bus slide into water that wasn't only a few centimeters deep.

It was unusual for Akira to go out of town, but he had decided to make an exception for today. He had become a bit bored of the shops and sights that were closer to his home, and figured a change of pace might remedy things. Nothing a little retail therapy can't fix! He remembered telling himself excitedly as he shut the door to his apartment on his way outside. However, now he found himself on the long bus home after an exhausting walk around the neighboring city.

He had collapsed on the bus, letting his bags drop in between his feet with a sigh of exhaustion. He wasn't used to the layout of the city, which resulted in quite a bit of extra walking on his part. It certainly didn't help that he had bought himself three or four large shopping bags worth of new clothes. He wasn't even sure how he would manage to fit all of the new things he bought into the closet in his apartment, but he would find a way. Even if that meant turning his pantry into a second closet, he would figure it out one way or another. Perhaps his priorities were a bit backwards.

Somewhere along the way he had picked up a present for one of his younger cousins, since little Yukiko's birthday was approaching. She wanted to become a hero the most fervently out of all of them, and he had decided to try and get some sort of merchandise from her favorite hero. Luckily for Akira, he had arrived just in time to pick up the limited edition box set of figurines one of the stores was carrying. That only added to the weight he forced himself to lug around all day.

To drown out all of the annoying chatter the other riders were making, Akira decided to put his earbuds in and listen to some music. However, even through his songs he could make out the sound of a child crying towards the front of the bus. Despite this, his eyelids began to grow heavy. A little nap couldn't hurt. He told himself, beginning to drift off to the sound of his music. A little bit of rest would certainly be welcome, and would almost definitely make the bus ride more bearable.

Before Akira knew what was going on, he was being thrown from his seat. His headphones were torn away from his ears as his body went tumbling towards the back of the bus. His bags went sliding around as well, the contents of them beginning to spill out , though that was the least of his worries. His back collided with the emergency exit, knocking the wind out of him. Pain shot through him as he began gasping for air, a feeling of complete and utter disorientation taking over.

As Akira's mind caught up to the situation, his breathing began to regulate again. You're okay. The bus crashed but you're okay. Just breathe. He began to cough as the air struggled to reenter his lungs. He forced himself to sit upright, his eyes scanning his surroundings. His shoulder certainly didn't feel right, but he could worry about that later. The pop song that had been on the bus radio continued to play, despite the seriousness of the situation they found themselves in.

It occurred to him that he may be the only one with medical experience. He could hear the piercing sound of children screaming and crying. The poor things. He thought to himself. They're probably terrified. With a bit of effort, Akira found his legs, pulling himself up by one of the standing rails. The sound of flowing water caught his attention, turning his head to look out the emergency exit. The bus must have landed in a river or something, or at least some of it. The way the bus was tilted, it seemed only the back half had found itself in the water.

He couldn't have people on the bus shifting around too much. Despite the fact his legs felt weak, he would have to make his way around the bus and tend to the wounded. He had trained for situations like this, but had never actually been in one before now. It was time to put his skills to the test. He took a deep breath in, preparing himself for whatever came next.

"Everything is going to be okay!" It felt so strange for him to be talking to a large group like this, especially in these circumstances. He couldn't even remember the last time he had really spoken to anyone outside of his family. "If you are wounded, stay where you are. I'm a medical professional. I will make my way around to everyone."

There was no time to waste. I guess I can kiss that nap goodbye

Kongo had been waiting what felt like months for today. He had saved up his allowance for the past several months with one singular goal in mind, NEO-GOEMON. The original game had been one of the only happy memories he had with his father, sitting in his lap while his father moved the little digital ninja around the screen, then handing the control to him when the scree feared to black with a morbid Game Over appeared above the little ninja burning in oil. This was all before the arrest, long before they fled the life his father cursed them with. Now that a sequel was finally out, he knew he just HAD to beat it, maybe out of guilty nostalgia, though more likely as a petty attempt to replace that memory with one free of his father.

As he sat on the bus, bouncing his knees in excitement to make it home, he knew he couldn't wait that long, and dug through the shopping bag to retrieve it, rubbing the prized item against his cheek in glee. Tearing off the plastic seal, he opened the case and breathed in a long breath, shuddering a quiet moan as he reveled in the exquisite 'new game' smell that came with it. Leaning back in his seat, intoxicated off his own excitement, he looked out the window to try and gauge how much longer he would have to wait as the bus putted along at a tortuous pace.

As he turned his head back to the interior of the bus, his face slammed into the back of the seat in front of him, making a perfect kabuki print as his makeup left a red and black residue in the shape of his face. Trying to grasp the situation as the bus shifted out of control, he found his grip on his prized package failing as the case slipped free from his outstretched hands, tumbling through the air. "NoOoOoo..." he called out as time seemed to slow around him.

Now unconcerned with his own safety, Kongo stood to try to catch the escaping valuable, the boy spinning back into the air as his fingers just graze it. Now climbing partway over the seat in front of him (Much to the dismay of the elderly woman seated there) he launched himself after his game. "Goemon!" he cried out as he wrapped his fingers around the case, sliding a short bit through the aisle between sets before colliding with the legs of several concerned individuals. As the bus careened to a stop, he was sent bouncing, clutching his prize close to his chest. It was after everything settled that Kongo realized he was clothing a warped and destroyed box, he hopeful eyes filling with sorrow as he let out a wail one might mistake for the crying of a child. He was so wrapped up in his anguish that he almost didn't realize the small hand tapping him on the head. As he looked up, tears welling up in his eyes, a young child half his age was holding up a familiar game cartridge. "This fell out of your box mister... Big kids like you shouldn't cry so easy..."

Widening his eyes in shock, Kongo grasped the game in one hand, his other attempting to wipe his eyes as he tried to get to his feet. With a smile he nodded to the boy, "Wow kid, good to know I had a hero watching over me" before tucking the game into his pocket and looking over the rest of the bus in it's disorder. Returning to grab the rest of his things from his seat, he found the old woman in front of his had taken quite a nasty fall, but with only a couple whacks from her umbrella he was able to hoist her back onto her seat. He moved down the aisle as he found others who had been knocked from their seats in the chaos, lending a hand with each one as he assessed their condition.

Hikaru was riding the bus home from visiting some friends at the mall. She was out all day , but the girl never seemed to never get tired. Most people shop till they drop and others like Hikaru shop , and then shop some more. She had seven bags filled with items that one would expect of a girl her age, and a few that one wouldn't. Most notably combat training and how to become a pro Hero, both of which are for dummies.

Hikaru was deciding what to do when she got home. The Idea that was most appealing was taking a bath. No not a bath a bath with bubbles! The girl would think to herself as she brought her hands to hold her cheeks. "It will be so relaxing." she murmured to herself. Like clockwork however the timing was somewhat too perfect. As she had said that the bus would swerve out of control.

Hikaru in a day dream was not prepared for it. the poor girl ended up slamming face first into the window actually cracking it. After that she would be dazed for a few moments and hear a high pitched ringing in her ear as her brain tried to reset. Hikaru looked around and saw some chaos ensue. In her confusion she saw what seemed to be a ghost jump across the the bus. "Wha -what?" she asked as she questioned her consciousness.

Hikaru's head was throbbing as this would be her second concussion in a matter of a month. Wait i need to see if people are ok she thought. Yes, That's definitively what a hero would do. Though she realized she was late to the party as some proclaimed to be a medic and another was asking questions. Hikaru stood up to talk to both of the boys. "I'm fine , but i will check on the opt her passengers." though Hikaru was very wrong.

The girl had yet to notice that her nose was bleeding and quite a lot as well. Her sweater was drenched in it and the bottom of her face as well. Hikaru's adrenaline kept her from noticing it. The girl looked like something out of a Horror movie. Her appearance would alarm quite a few people on the bus and cause a few kids to start crying. With a very puzzled look on her face Hikaru just asked a general question "What did I do?"

All Modoru wanted was a peaceful ride back home, but now wasn't the time to focus on that. When he saw the ghostly figure fly across the bus he could have sworn he hit his head rather hard. When Modoru heard the sounds next to him he saw the rather tall guy on the floor he offered a hand before he pulled himself up. The boy announcing he was a medical professional was shocking to Modoru, but also put him at ease. Thank goodness for him, he thought to himself.

As he was about to wish the boy good luck a bleeding girl insisted on helping as well. When she turned to the rest of the bus even more children started to cry. "Excuse me, ma'am. I think you should lay back in your seat in a minute. You are bleeding quite heavily from the nose. Once the bleeding is stopped I'm sure you can help plenty." Modoru tried to say in his kindest tone. He wanted to help people too, but he lacked any real medical training.

Modoru sighed at his apparent uselessness in the situation. The icy gazed boy, the strange guy with a ghostly look, even the bleeding girl were all trying to help others while he just stood by the back of the bus. As his eyes drifted around he noticed a large amount of shopping bags at his feet. "I'll take care of anyone's things that rolled back here. Once we are righted we can make sure everyone gets their belongings!" Modoru announced to the rest of the bus as he started to fill his seat with bags, books, devices, and anything else that wound up by his feet.

On the opposite end of the bus, the horse headed driver turned to everyone. "I'm sorry to say I can't get a signal on the radio. It's my fault for this happening and I deeply apologize to everyone. A sika deer was on the road and I tried to bring us to a gentle stop, but the ground was wet from recent rainfall." The driver explained as he wrestled with his airbag.

Modoru was still putting items into his seat as the bus driver spoke. Hopefully someone else had a working signal for their phone. The boy continued to sort similar bags together, careful to make sure any loose items were placed in the empty seat next to his. When he came across a copy of "How to become a Pro Hero for Dummies", Modoru paused. Now may not have been the best time, but someone studying this could have good ideas. He held up the book and spoke softly, "Excuse me, who's book is this?"

"What the...?" Akira found himself murmuring as what appeared to be a small ghost child flew over a row of seats. He checked the back of his head with his good arm. It was certainly tender, but there was no blood and his cognitive function appeared to be perfectly normal. Perhaps it was just his vision going temporarily fuzzy, but in any case, he would be sure to check in that area later. Whatever was over there was making quite the eerie cry over something, but then suddenly stopped. What have I gotten myself into? Akira wondered before getting to work.

"I'm fine, but I will check on the other passengers." Akira turned to see the boy who had previously spoken walking over to a girl, whose appearance was a bit frightening. The lower half of her face was covered in blood, with her sweater being quite caked in it as well. Well that's not going to wash out, there's far too much blood. That most likely should not have been his first thought, but he had just been shopping after all.

In any case, he started limping his way towards her, using the seats and standing rails to help himself along. "I uh-" He cut himself off short, his words cut in his throat. Even in this situation, he struggled to find his words. As his nerves began to overtake him slightly, the glow from his skin intensified further, enough to be clearly visible even with the lights from the bus. It was truly pathetic in all honesty. He shook his head clear before proceeding. "You took a bad hit to the face. Don't stand for too long." He stated plainly to the girl, putting a hand on her shoulder and leaning down to access the injury. He couldn't help but notice the cracked window not far behind her with a blood splatter on it. "D-Did you-"He stopped himself short. She just broke a window with her face, don't startle her. He looked away from her for a short moment, clearing his throat before continuing.

Akira paid little attention to whatever the bus driver was saying to him and the rest of the passengers. He had a job to do, and if he was going to get to checking everyone on the bus, he couldn't waste time. Upon closer inspection, the girl's nose was broken very badly. He would have to set it back in to place, then check her cognitive functions and motor skills. "You might want to hold on to me, this is going to hurt. I'm sorry." Without any further warning, Akira quickly moved one hand up toward her nose, putting the other on her shoulder. With a couple quick movements and a few unsettling snaps, he had pushed her nose back into place. As he did so, he let loose a bit of Faerie Dust from the tips of his fingers and onto her nose. That should at least dull the pain and speed up the healing a bit. He thought to himself.

Akira gave the girl a few moments to process what had happened before he moved forward. "How does your head feel? Can you tell me your name, your age, and where you are right now? Do you remember what you did today?" Though none of his words came out with much emotion, he silently hoped she was okay. Luckily for Akira, he had a small flashlight on his key chain, in case he was ever walking home late. However, it now occurred to him that he produced his own whitish-golden glow from his skin. He wondered why he had even bought it in the first place. In any case, it was useful now. The light wasn't very bright, but he still shined it into her eyes to get a better look at them as he awaited her answers.

Kongo rolled his neck until he heard an audible pop, releasing some of the strain of his tumble earlier. He was still young enough to have more bounce than break in his body, yet he felt he wouldn't truly know just how bad he was going to hurt until the adrenaline wore off. Looking about the bus he noticed certain individuals stepping up to the occasion, helping out and taking charge, then turning back to the front of the bus he listened to the explanation provided by the driver.

Climbing his way to the front, Kongo gave the doors a small shake, before the driver opened them from his seat. He was no mathematical genius, but he could see how the weight distribution needed to be treated carefully. The chaos had left the bus much more heavy in the rear with the clutter of items and people, if those in the front started evacuating now, the bus could begin to slide back into the water.

Chewing his lip, Kongo fought the urge to blurt out the situation, the last thing they needed was panic or a rush to start. With a slap to his own cheeks he willed himself out of his indecision. "We need to start shuffling people up to the front before they get off the bus" he told the driver, hoping the adult would understand the situation. Turning back to the slowly stabilizing bus he waved his hands, trying to garner as much attention as he could. "We need to start clearing the bus, but rushing will only cause more chaos. If you can move, please gather in the front at an orderly pace."

With luck, his plan would shift the density of bodies further away from the water, while clearing room for those in the back who were tending to the injured. He watched as they crowd seemed to hesitate, not ready to take orders from a child. "You heard the weirdo! Get moving" chimed in the little old lady from before, making her way to the front assisted by the boy who had saved his game. Perhaps the crowd was more open to taking orders from their elders, because shortly afterwards people followed suit.

Before long, most the uninjured had congregated at the front of the bus, leaving only the few injured and those tending to the wounded scattered through the rest of the bus. Kongo let the other children assist the elderly off the bus as he tried to clear some of the crowd without jeopardizing their role as a counter-weight. With a small sigh he looked back to the crowd tending to the injured, just in time to see the lanky boy fix a girls nose manually, Kongo's already pale complexion lightening as he felt faint for a second.

AT being told she was covered in blood the Tall slender boy walked up to her. Hikaru put her fingers to her nose and the dripping red substance stained her hands as well. "What the hell? When did that happen." Let out a bit of laughter the girl smiled. "Does it look bad?" She asked maintaining her smile. She had already caused a disturbance so she wanted to try and let everyone know she was alright. Looking up at the boy who seemed to tower over her she spoke a few word of praise. "Thanks for helping me, sorry to get int the way."

When he had told her to hold on to him she was a bit confused. Was he hitting on her? Now at a time like this? The n suddenly without warning he would snap her nose back into place. The pain piercing her face like a thousand needles. Hikaru would bring her hands to cover up her face. Looking at him with slight annoyance. "Ok you know , I know you had to do that but more warning would be nice "

Hikaru would rub her nose a bit more as the pain began to fade. Though this was due to the fairy dust which tickled Hikarus nose a bit. She would sniffle a bit before the dust would cause her to sneeze. Turning away from everyone to do so Hikaru would sneeze a silvery substance that would pierce the bus window she had previously cracked. In both instances she had lost control of her quirk and used it by accident.

Turning back to the boy she would proceed to answer his questions. "My head hurts, but it is nothing terrible. My name is Hikaru Hashira, I'm 16 years old." She would pause to breathe before continuing to answer questions. "Not sure where we are, but I know I'm on a bus." Then the big one came in asking what she had done today. The poor boy had no way of knowing what would unfold. Hikaru began to answer.

"Well I woke up, and wanted to hang out with my cousin so I called her. However she is still mad at me for running into a burning building. So when my friends called to come hang out at the mall I said yes.I took the bus there because My parents wouldn't let me take the car. After getting there i met up with them , and we wen't shopping I bought about seven bags worth of things because I needed some stuff. Then we ate lunch and decided to head home so I hopped on a bus. It was this bus that happened to crash or something. That's when I busted up my face , and you came to help me."

Hikaru paused for the first time since starting her story to take a breathe. The girl would bring a finger to her chin to think if anything else had happened today. "That's it I think." She would look at him then get a bit flustered. "Oh how rude of me. What is your name?"

Modoru sighed as he set the heroics book back on the seat. The person it belonged to probably had bigger things to worry about, and so did he. The boy cupped his hands around his mouth to help his voice carry up the bus. "Excuse me everyone! All of the loose belongings are safe back here. I'll be going through this back door and come around to help lightly injured down the slope we are on. If you need assistance from me just ask for Subete Modoru."

With that being said Modoru quickly opened the rear entrance to the bus, triggering the alarm. It only lasted a second before the bus driver shut it off, but it was enough to shock the lad and cause him to trip into the shallow stream. Modoru pulls his face out of the water, gasping for air for a few seconds. "I'll just be a moment!" he shouted back as he got back to his feet.

After taking a moment to wring his shirt out Modoru rushed to the front door of the bus. As the door opened an old lady nearly jumped out, but Modoru took her by the umbrella-less hand."Please come with me, that is quite the step there," he said before getting a umbrella to the shoulder.

Despite the insistence she was fine, Modoru helped the old woman up the hill to the side of the road. When back to the door for the next person Modoru paused to look at the larger boy with snow white skin. "I can handle everyone here. I think they might need your help with getting the injured off here." As Modoru helped a more heavyset woman off the bus he turned back to the door and nodded. "Now let's break a leg." Modoru said in heavily accented English, not even sure of what he said.

"Yes, it looks quite bad." Akira would say in answer to the girl's question, quite surprised by her seemingly cheery demeanor. Even in such an uncomfortable situation, she was smiling and laughing. Her eyes gave Akira such a friendly look, he could swear he was glowing twice as brightly. "Th-Though I'm sure it's not nearly as bad as it looks. The blue-haired boy felt a bit of remorse for how bluntly he came off, and felt even more remorse as he snapped her nose back into its proper position. stopping the bleeding with his magic dust.

Akira's eyes widened, jaw dropping slightly as she watched her sneeze a metallic bolt out of the bus window. W-Was that her quirk just now?" Akira pondered in disbelief, his mind coming to the only conclusion that seemed to make any sense. "Is her quirk some kind of super sneeze!?" Of course, Akira wouldn't ask her that right now. In a normal situation he would have, but now simply was not the time.

She knew her name, her age, and her general location. This relieved Akira, his shoulders visibly relaxing as he continued to check the way her eyes moved, checking for any odd dilation of the pupils or something else that may tip him off. Before he knew it, she was rocketing her entire day into his ear. Beginning to realize the girl was completely okay, Akira would slowly lower the pocket flashlight, turning his head so his cold blue gaze was staring at her face. Despite his obvious attempts to interrupt her, she showed absolutely no signs of slowing down. Eventually, he just resigned to listening through until the end.

"Akira. Akira Kiyoshi." The slender boy stated flatly, putting the flashlight into the pocket of his black blazer. It wasn't until now Akira realized how out of place he looked. His attire was meant for a black tie party, yet he had worn it for a simple shopping errand. Perhaps that's why so many people had looked at him strangely when he had announced himself. It was probably his tall stature and bright glowing skin, though Akira would not accept that.

He also suddenly realized how close his face was to hers while he had been examining her. At first he had been caught up in the moment, though now he was painfully self aware, stumbling back so far as to land in a now empty bus seat. Empty? With nothing in the way? After taking a quick look around, he noticed two young boys had managed to round up just about everyone and lead them off of the bus.

"I can handle everyone here. I think they might need your help with getting the injured off here." Akira heard a voice say, turning to find one of the young boys who had been helping others off of the bus speaking to him. He was curious of why the boy had decided to use such a strange English phrase before departing, but didn't question it. "Yeah. On it." Akira said, attempting to return to his usual icy demeanor. With a significant struggle, he managed to haul himself up out of his unintentional seat. The boy put on a notable grimace as he put weight down on his right leg. Shit, maybe I did break a leg. Even through the initial adrenaline shock I can feel it. However, with or without help, he would make his way outside of the bus.

As he made his way off, he saw the uncomfortable expression of a younger boy wearing strange makeup. At first Akira was confused, racking his brain until he realized what must have happened. "Oh uh, sorry you had to see that, kid. He wasn't sure how young the strange boy was exactly, but he was young enough to warrant a small apology from the usually cold boy. He couldn't help showing his soft spot for children every now and again.

Though he took as soft and slow of a step as he could manage, a splitting pain rushed up through Akira's right foot and through his whole body, bringing him down to one knee. "Shit." He muttered audibly, trying to right himself. He called out to the crowd through failed attempts to put himself back on his own two feet. "I must have injured my leg... Either someone is going to have to bring the injured to me or someone is going to have to help me over to them... He felt so embarrassed, being too frail to move in a tense situation. All I want to do is help and I can't even do that right. He told himself, sighing with disappointment.

Recovering from his shock a little too late, Kongo gave a bashful nod to the tall lad whom had apologized. "Y-yeah..." Seeing his limp, he stifled a wince and offered him a shoulder as he helped him past the bus and to the crowd, easing him down. Looking around he saw people recovering from their confusion and falling into supportive roles, he needed to step his game up a little if he wanted to be more than a hindrance in this crisis.

Breaking away from the crowd a bit and crouching down, he lifted two fingers to his mouth and let out a faint whistle as if calling out to something. With his back to the crowd he watched the ghostly canines manifest, one yawning as it scratched it's ear. "Ok, I need you two to listen to me... really listen this time." Both dogs seemed to snap back to attention as he flicked their noses. "I want you two to try to find help then come back, but try to stay out of sight, we don't want to startle or scare anyone... we especially don't want a repeat of the grocery store." At the mention of the event, both dogs drooped their ears bashfully... they knew what they did.

As the ghostly hounds veered off, he watched them vanish back into the either to which they came to do their jobs. With luck no one had seen his this exchange, ghosts never really sat well with people in a crisis. Climbing back into the bus, he made his way to the next person he could find, helping a middle aged man support another elderly fellow, his father by the look of it. One by one he lent his shoulders and arms to those who needed a hand, coaxing those with injuries to the sparkly tall boy with medical training.

Before long, the bus was beginning to empty out, until only those who needed to be carried out remained. By this point several of the uninjured had begun assisting in clearing the bus of items and personal belongings while the physically capable were clearing the last few with a patient delicacy. With an exhausted sigh, Kongo collapsed on the ground to catch his breath, sitting up after a moment to turn to the bus driver. "Any new word from the radio?" he asked with mild hope. But the bus driver simply shook his head, "Neigh."

After the tall slender boy fell backwards into his seat. Hikaru apologized as she thought she thought he startled him . The boy proceeded to walk to the front of the bus before getting a noticeable limp. Had he hurt himself she thought. Here this stranger was helping her , the least she could do was return the favor. Hikaru witnessed another boy help the guy out. That would be a momentary fix , but what about long term?

Hikaru spawned an idea thanks to Akira using his quirk she thought why not use her. "Excuse me Aki chan!" greeting the boy as if they were long time friends she walked up to him and the Kabuki. Standing next to them she asked "This might help I think." The girl said as she her forearm changed to a silver color. Then it proceeded to liquidate and form. Grabbing the silvery substance with her hand she pulled it out of herself. The form of the object took that of a cane.

Her forearm would return to normal but not before the liquid turned hard and then back to flesh. The item was a shiny brand new cane. Holding it with Both hands she handed it to Akira. Looking at him closely she smiled. "I hope this helps." She said with her signature optimism. Hikaru would then look to the other boy. The girl would gasp and bring her hand to her mouth. "Oh my gosh are you a , kabuki?" She asked with bewilderment.

Hikaru had never seen one in real life, but she recalled when she was a child there was a Kabuki movie that she really enjoyed. Hikaru probably watched it about a thousand times. However she eventually grew out of it, but to see a real life Kabuki that was awesome. "My name is Hikaru , pleasure to meet you." She said again smiling almost ear to ear.
"What's you're name?"

With the emptying of the bus almost done and not being exceptionally good at lifting things himself, Modoru climbed into the back of the bus. To Modoru it was painful not being able to help the people that needed. He knew it was best to leave it to people better suited for the job though. Growing up on his family's orchard he learned doing a good job is making sure people do the jobs they are best at, even if they may not like it.

Modoru carefully hopped out of the bus again, his pants legs soaked at this point. As he walked up to the hill to the area people had grouped up around he asked, "Excuse me. If people can tell me what items they lost on the bus I can return it to them." After asking he was swamped with people telling him of things they lost. Modoru did his best to find what people had dropped in the near crash, trying to avoid shaking the bus too much as he climbed back on.

It didn't take long for most of the items to be returned. Shopping bags made carrying easy, and people didn't seem to be lying about what was actually theirs. On one trip through the bus to the back Modoru gave the boy treating the injured a curious look. Did he always have that cane? I hope he didn't find my expression in poor taste. Modoru thought was he grabbed a bag of new pants someone had mentioned. With everyone off the bus seeming to have everything they had asked about Modoru took one final look at the seats.

There was a small collection of unclaimed items, but were likely from the others that were helping or injured people. Without anything much else to do he crouched down to see if there was anything he was missing on the seats. Moving a piece of torn magazine page aside, Modoru's eyes went wide at what he saw. With a reflective band around it, there was a wad of yen. With a shaky hand Modoru reached under the seat and pulled it closer. Counting out the money it came close to 90k yen (800 dollars). With a gulp, Modoru tucked the money into a pocket. Nobody outside had mentioned loose money, but if nobody did they couldn't just start asking. Thoughts rapidly filled Modoru's head as he looked up the bus aisle. If nobody mentioned the money who would get it? Would anyone even notice if I took it? No, that's wrong. This has to belong to someone. But who?

This wasn't his money to take, he knew that. It looked like the other three on the bus were busy, but if this was found out about it could cause some chaos. For the most part things seem stable, so Modoru took his chance. Looking out one of the windows, Modoru spoke up, "Hey umm..." Modoru paused to try and remember the names of the others. "Can Acura, Hikaru, and uhh Mister Kabuki meet me outside in a minute? I wanted to talk about how we can help others more, but not be too loud."

Modoru hoped they weren't too mad about the names. They had just met in stressful circumstances and he was already bad with names. Also lying like that didn't sit well with Modoru, but it also gave him the best chance of keeping things quiet. The other three people around his age all seemed to have good morals, so they all would have good ideas on what to do. Carefully Modoru hopped out the back again, but went to the side of the hill with nobody at it.

After a few moments, Modoru would wave over whoever came out to meet. He would keep on hand in his pocket, gripping the money as the others walked over.Normally Modoru would like to formally introduce himself, but time was of the essence. "We have a small issue. Someone on the bus was missing a large sum of unmarked money." Modoru said in a hushed tone as he held out the rolled up bills for the others to see.

"Excuse me Aki chan!" Akira heard a familiar voice call from behind him as he made his way off the bus, stopping near the young kabuki boy. A-A-Aki Chan?! He had never been referred to as something so friendly or affectionate before, aside from when his younger cousins who could not pronounce his name yet would use such nicknames. But for someone of his same age to call him something so friendly, a cute girl no less, completely shocked him. He was surely glowing bright enough to light up the entire bus at this point, and was quite possibly the brightest his quirk had ever caused him to glow before.

Akira slowly turned his body, his muscles nearly locking up from embarrassment. "Y-You shouldn't use such cute names for people you barely know... Baka." Even though he protested on the outside, he couldn't deny the heat that rose to his cheeks and the warmness he felt in his heart from being called "Aki-Chan". Even though his face was pointing down towards his shoes, his eyes were able to peek up and watch what the silver-haired girl did. He looked on with both shock in amazement as she turned her arm into a silvery liquid, then pulling a cane out of said arm before it returned to normal. "I hope this helps!"The girl said as she handed the cane in his direction, her voice dripping with cheer and optimism. It was impossible for Akira to stop himself from muttering "Th-Thank you, Hashira-Chan." The Faerie quickly put the cane to use as the Kabuki boy helped him along, making it off of the bus with relative ease.

Though the cane made it possible for him to stand, it was still difficult for him to hobble around on a leg that was most likely broken. He leaned heavily on the cane with both hands, peering out over the crowd. He saw several people of all ages, shapes, and sizes laid out before him, some standing and nervously tapping their feet while others seemed to injured to stand. Though he had hoped someone like Hikaru or the short, dark haired boy had offered to help him, it wouldn't stop him from making sure everyone was taken care of. Despite my injuries, I have to push forward and help these people. I won't let them hold me back. Not this time.

The first people to receive his attention would be a father-son pair who weren't far from the bus. The man had a few minor abrasions on his face and neck that he could see, but the way the man was sitting as he cradled his child suggestion he had sustained some sort of injury to his back. It truly must have been an odd sight to see, a tall, blue haired boy with lowing alabaster skin making his way towards them by the use of a cane. Akira could only imagine how bizarre it must look to those who saw him.

Very gingerly, Akira allowed himself to lower onto one knee. You can do this, Kiki. Just act professional. Make sure they're okay. With a deep breath and a bit of self encouragement, he began. "Sir my name is Akira Kiyoshi. I know I might look a bit young to be doing this, but I'm a medical professional." The man appeared to be quite weathered and weary, probably somewhere in his mid-to-late forties. His glasses had been broken in the crash, the remains of them tucked in his jacket pocket. His son appeared to be barely three years of age, and the poor thing was crying like it was the end of the world. It was clear that he had been banged up by the purple bruises along his arms and on his face, but his father probably took the brunt of everything.

Akira began to reach a hand towards the boy, but the father instinctively pulled his son away, cradling him a bit tighter in his arms. "Please, sir. There are a lot of other people waiting. I can help the both of you, I promise." The boy was clearly in pain, crying and screaming despite his father's attempts to comfort him. This time, when Akira reached towards him, his father did not pull back. Akira set his head down so both of his hands were free, using one to cradle the boy's head as he looked over him. Without thinking, his instincts kicked in, and he began to treat the child as if he was the little brother he had lost years ago.

Before he knew it, he was humming along to a tune he had sang to his brother when they were younger. After feeling around the back of the boys skull, it felt as though there were no major injuries, but the poor kid was quite shaken up. With his free hand, he made fluid motions in front of the boy, leaving trails of pink sparkles behind it. By reflecting the light off of the dust in different ways, he was able to make simple shapes and letters to distract the boy. As the dust feel onto the young child, his bruises began to shrink, disappearing all together after just a few moments. "It will all be okay, little one." He whispered, a smile plastered across the Faerie's face.

It wasn't long before the boy laid quiet in his father's arms, fast asleep. "That was really something else, kid. The father whispered as Akira felt around the man's back, looking for any breaks or cracks, gauging the man's reactions to determine his pain. While the Faerie went along, he let some of his dust fall onto the man's neck,
closing up his abrasions and other minor wounds. "Don't mention it." Akira responded, his tone turning flat and cold once more. He hoped the man wouldn't press it, because Akira knew in his heart that his quirk was useless. No amount of compliments from strangers could change that. "Ah here we are. I'm no chiropractor , but-" With a quick push and an audible crack, the man's position shifted as Akira pushed his spine back into its proper position.

"Thank you-" The man began, rubbing his back. However, as the father turned to look behind him, Akira had already moved onto another child, hobbling over there with his new cane. There were four other children on the bus that day, and the blue haired boy tended to each one of them with care and compassion. He would hum a new tune to each one of them, making pretty shapes with his dust as he checked their injuries. Luckily none of them kids were harmed too bad, though the parents had some broken bones he had to set. Luckily for Akira, there were a few tree branches by the river he was able to use to make splints. Along with shreds he tore off of his clothes, he was able to ensure all of them were in good condition. However, it pained the boy to rip up such a wonderful outfit. Perhaps this was punishment for all of the new clothes he had splurged on.

By the time he had managed to set and splint all of the broken arms and legs, Akira's entire torso was nearly exposed. Luckily the boy was too engrossed in his work to be embarrassed by his own condition, still tending to the injured. After using his quirk for so long, he could barely stand. Despite this weakened state he found himself in, he couldn't help but let his eyes wander to a strange man. He stood in the middle of the field, mumbling about money. He wasn't quite Akira's height, but he wasn't far off. He had aggressively refused the boy's help, even though his left arm was badly wounded. He paced relentlessly back and forth the entire time Akira did his work, before finally boarding the bus once again.

Though he paid little mind to the strange money-obsessed man, he did recall the short haired boy waving the Hikaru and Kabuki somewhere behind the bus. Perhaps I should see what that was all about. At this point he was probably late to the party, but whatever it was the boy wanted, it seemed vaguely important. Deciding it was for the best, Akira slowly began to limp and shuffle his way in that direction.

"Oh my gosh are you a , kabuki?" Kongo turned around to catch the gasping question of the girl. “Yeah… I mean not like, professionally but it’s the look I was going for,” He said smiling back. He could pick up on the excitement in her voice, where he normally found awkward bafflement. His reason for spending an extra hour applying his face every morning was more about his perception of self, rather than an impression he was trying to make… But for it to brighten someone else’s day, that was a very added and welcome bonus. As she introduced herself, he responded with a broad grin as he jabbed his thumb toward his chest, gesturing at himself. “Always nice to meet new people, I’m Kongo Danjuro.” Before he could further gab with his new friend, his attention was grabbed by Modoru’s announcement.

Joining him and the others called, he squatted down to a comfortable position as he listened to the issue with the large mass of bills. A faint whistle escaped his mouth as he looked over the startling wad of cash, there was enough there to easily buy a copy of Neo-Goemon for every game system available and still have a bunch left over. There was an unwelcome knot in his stomach that arose as he stared at the money, it reminded him of his father. His last memory before he split was watching him pack a duffel their families savings and a change of clothes. Money brought the worst out in people. Did this boy intend to pocket the misplaced wealth? Why was he showing it to them?

"Well there's no point in asking, I doubt we'll get an honest answer... Besides that, there's something sketchy about that money." Eyeing the bills he though back to his father again, remembering the list of felonious charges he had accumulated over his career. Protection rackets, smuggling contraband, even armed robbery, there were numerous ways someone like his father could wind up with a stack like that. That thought got him thinking. "Call it a hunch, but I get the feeling a sum of cash that large didn't just fall out of someone's wallet... and I can't think of too many innocent reasons someone would be carrying so much on them."

As they discussed their options, Kongo's attention was momentarily pulled away from this as he felt the familiar etherial tug of the ghosts that lay dormant in his quirk, his dogs had returned. He had reservations about displaying his quirk in a group, especially when he was unsure of their intentions regarding the seemingly sordid bounty of wealth... But they were still stranded and people were hurt, now wasn't the time to keep his cards close to his chest. "Hold on just a moment, I may have something that can help."

Letting out a soft breath he clicked his tongue, calling to one of the ghostly hounds. He gave it a rewarding scratch behind the ears. "Ok, is help on the way?" The ghost let out a soft whine. "No... Did you find someone who can help?" The hound made a faint grunting bark and began to paw hastily at the ground, their etherial body leaving no sign of disturbance. "Good, and their close by too." The ghostly dog then spun in a small circle before looking back up at Kongo, it's ears folding back. Being emotionally linked to his ghosts meant they were receptive to his moods, it seemed this one was reading his anxiety regarding the money. "It's ok, good boy though... Tell your sister I may need her in a little bit" the dog let out a bark of affirmation before fading bach into the air.

Without needing to look at the others, Kongo knew an explanation was due. "That was my quirk, my ghost hounds were able to locate a some trucks with people, I think a road crew doing repairs, up the road about half a mile." He rolled his head as he made sense of the message his pet had sent him. "I can't be certain but they should be able to get in contact with emergency services to send an ambulance or two to take the wounded and maybe send a ride home if we can't get the bus back on the road." He rose from his crouching position as he stretched "They can lead the way, but they can't manifest if they stray too far from me" Cocking his head, he looked to the others "So what's the plan...?"
