"Ahhh, how exciting." Kyousuke looked down at the man who was laying by his feet, both of them seemed to be roughed up, their clothes slightly dirty but unlike the young man on the ground who seemed to be both winded and worse off, Kyousuke had a wide smile on his face as he relished in the rush of a fight. "Better luck next time pal." He bent down and patted him on the shoulder with an ever so slightly mocking smirk. "B-bastard." The injured man barely uttered out before groaning in pain once more. He brought himself to his full height once more and dusted off his shirt, his red gloves seemed to be entirely fine. "Whooa, they weren't lying when they said these were tough." Kyousuke held them in front of him, inspecting them for any damage only for none to be found. He had paid good money for the gloves so to see them holding up was something that Kyousuke was happy to see. His hands found their way to his pockets, it would probably have been smarter to take them off but if he happened to stumble into another situation like what he was just in. Stepping out of the dim alleyway into the brightly lit street Kyousuke winced, the darkness of the alleyway had seemingly affected him more then he expected. Kyousuke looked up and down the streets, compared to the bustling streets of both Tokyo and Osaka, Sendai was a lot more calm but Kyousuke was alright with that. Having to many people around him ended up making Kyousuke feel a bit jumpy. Being able to feel the cool breeze brush past him without being shoved left and right by crowds of people. Kyousuke started to walk down the sidewalk, the cool wind blowing through the city. Kyousuke shivered slightly, maybe he should've worn an actual jacket rather then a shirt over his t-shirt, seeing some businessmen walk by Kyousuke mused for several moments as to whether or not he should commander one of their suits for the greater good before he decided that would probably be him getting into a pointless fight that he couldn't solve with his fists. A small gasp of mist escaped his mouth as another shiver wracked his body. Kyousuke needed to get some food, something warm. He noticed an open Izakayai up ahead, surely they'd have something nice that he could eat. Kyousuke pushed the cloth hanging in the front of the entrance aside as he strolled into the Izakayai. He sat down at one of the empty seats on the bar as he began to read the menu. "Bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen and half a dozen gyoza boss." He lowered his head respectfully as the chef nodded in response and got to work cooking the food. Kyousuke glanced around the rest of the Izakayai. "Quiet day, Huh boss." There was only a few other stragglers at the tables and no one was currently at the bar. It wasn't that surprising really, it was that twilight time between when tourists and families would come around to eat and the later time when salarymen and their bosses would go out for drinks. It was a perfect time for Kyousuke. His attention was drawn back to the bench in front of him as a cup of green tea was placed down, his eyebrows raised in surprised, normally water would be served. "Thank you." He nodded respectfully once more to the chef who grunted in approval before he returned back to making the food. He took hold of the cup and lifted it up to his mouth, taking a small sip of the drink before placing it back down, the cold breeze mixed with the heat from the cooking mingled together into a nice warm temperature that Kyousuke enjoyed. A banquet with the immediate families of both the Inoues and Umezuka's had just come to a close. The suit that the flashy heir wore was unbuttoned, the tie undone and hanging loosely from around his neck. Though being in such attire again was suffocating, Haruka Umezuka danced across the sidewalks through the city of Sendai, his long legs gliding elegantly with each step. His smaller partner, Hisoka, followed patiently, the rather formal dress she was wearing blowing in the wind along with strands of silky, salmon pink hair,"Hisoka-chan, Hisoka-chan- we need to eat some ramen-chaaaan~!" Haru outstretched his arm to swing around a lamppost, his smooth voice never faltering. Loud hums continued to come from him, making up the noises as he went along with his twirls. Hisoka sighed, adjusting her glasses with a stern look to her ex-fiancee. It was a sixth sense that Haru now had- the ability to feel when his lady friend's eyes were drilling into the back of his head. His whimsical hums trailed off, his hand lingering on the lamppost as he looked at his much more serious partner,"How can you possibly be hungry after-" With a long stride towards Hisoka, Haru took her hand in his, twirling her suddenly as his hums began picking up again. It cut off her sentence, letting Haru have his moment with her. The twirls stopped gradually, slowing after Haruka's arm got tired. A perplexed look was painted on her face,"-After a banquet?!" The question she wanted to ask finally came out, making Haru look a bit offended by it! "I'm not hungry! Ramen shops have a better atmosphere than stuffy banquet halls!" He stuck his tongue out childishly in disgust,"Blegh!" The heir of a fortune, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, would never have stepped foot in Sendai, let alone in an Izakayai,"Ramen shop? How would you know?! You've never been to one!" The taller man gasped at her accusation,"How cruel! Though my body may not have graced an Izakayai, my soul has!" Before Hisoka could argue further, a familiar hand reached for her wrist, being dragged along like she had been for so many years. The back of Haru had become so much more known to her, and she noticed so much more about it- the way the hair in the back curls out, the mole he has near the nape of his neck. Such small details, yet they meant so much. The poor girl was pulled from place to place, following behind the man whom she always loved. From the outside looking in, it would have looked wrong. An oblivious womanizer leading the poor girl on. But, it wasn't like that. Hisoka knew she'd never been Haru's happily ever after. There wasn't a second in her life that didn't go into thinking that. Anywhere they went, there would always be someone that caught his eye. And, sadly for her, she was never the one. Though, hearing the smile in Haru's voice when he finally found what he was searching for was enough for her. Looking after this overgrown child gave her a sort of purpose in life, one that she never thought she'd have,"There!" He perked up, pointed excitedly to the Izakayai just down the street. The two bustled over, sweeping the curtain past as they walked in,"Let's sit at the bar, shall we?" He smiled at his companion, keeping his hand on her back as they walked over. "Shio Ramen, if you will. My dear princess and I will be sharing~" The two relaxed a bit after ordering, Haru escaping the confinements of his suit jacket while Hisoka cleaned the lenses in her glasses. It wasn't off enough for him, and he began rolling up the sleeves of his dress shirt. Though, as he went to roll up his other sleeve, his green eyes wandered up to the bespeckled figure sitting beside him, and his mysterious presence had him hooked. The boy felt so broody and stern, yet his face and eyes remained soft. The more he stared at him, the more he wanted to talk to him. An urge to run his hand through his fluffy, raven hair was just barely resisted, and it took the steaming ramen placed in front of him to snap him out of his daze. "Thank you." Haru smiled at the chef, letting Hisoka take the first couple of bites. Though she said she wasn't hungry, she still dug into the bowl in front of her. He smirked victoriously, letting the food be the perfect distraction to take more of the beautiful megane's features in. Haru leaned into the bar, his elbow finding it's way onto it. His chiseled jaw rested against his knuckles,"Tell me, Megane-kun, just what is someone so handsome doing alone on a fine evening such as this?" The triumphant smirk from before had turned much more playful, bright eyes looking expectantly at the fluffy-haired boy next to him. His sixth-Hisoka sense was going off, but he tried his best to ignore it. While she had a date with that ramen, he would try his damnedest to sweep this boy off of his bespeckled feet. |

His food had yet to come but that wasn't something that Kyousuke was particularly put off by, he was willing to wait much longer if the current atmosphere of the izakayai remained. Cheap, nice places like where he was present were places that Kyousuke very much enjoyed eating at. It did help that it really was the only type of place that he could actually afford to eat at comfortably without worrying whether or not he was dipping a bit to heavily into his savings, on top of that he could almost always guarantee that the food would be good, most smaller places of business had a certain pride in serving people well to the point where they chose a local 'place' that they went often. Kyousuke picked up the small cup filled with green tea and took another small sip from it, the heat from the tea warming his body. Apparently the owner also knew how to brew a good cup of green tea, it was better then most cups he had happened to partake of before. The curtain was pushed aside once more and Kyousuke glanced back to see a pair of strangers enter, both seemingly heavily overdressed and also surpisingly around his age, give or take a year. It was hard to tell honestly, from his time in the orphanage Kyousuke never really got a grasp on seeing people age since he was mostly around the same people for years upon years at a time. To his annoyance, they had decided to sit beside him. Kyousuke let out a small sigh and just looked forward, retreating into his head and musing anything to not be brought into a conversation. The pair of them were probably arrogant to boot, Kyousuke had to admit at a bit of a surprise seeing people like them walking into somewhere 'common' like where they were. From a small glance out of the corner of his eye though it seemed like the boy might have been less of a stuffy 'elite' than Kyousuke expected. 'Probably wouldn't be much in a fight.' Kyousuke silently mused to himself as his eyes swung back forward to look at the space in front of him once more. Noticing the chef place a bowl of ramen down for the new visitors caused Kyousuke to lightly scowl. He wouldn't verbally complain, not only would that be unreasonable considering that he had been shouted green tea but it also wouldn't do him any favours either. It was best to just sit and not mention anything. Only a few moments after the ramen had been served to the two beside him that the boy had began to talk to him. Kyousuke tilted his head ever so slightly to the right and glanced at the boy with dull eyes. "Megane-kun?" He spoke questioning for a few moments before he realized what he meant. "Ah." Sometimes he forgot that he even went around with glasses on considering he actually didn't need them, it was weird when he thought about it like that. As if on cue to help him with a somewhat witty response a plate of Gyoza and a small saucer of soy sauce was placed down in front of him with a small grunt of acknowledgement by the chef before he returned to his pots and pans. "Eating, mostly. As you can see." Kyousuke replied to the boy as he picked up his chop sticks and with surprising deftness picked up a piece of gyoza, he held it in front of his eyes for a moment as if deciding whether or not to dip it in the soy sauce, with his decision made he lightly dipped the end of the gyoza in the sauce before popping it into his mouth. It tasted good. His eyes glanced over somewhat lazily at the boy once more before moving slightly past him to look at the girl who he was with. A sense of curiosity was blooming as to why the boy was engaging him instead of the person that he had come with. It didn't really matter though. "Nothing particularly interesting." Kyousuke spoke once more as his eyes returned to the small rectangular plate that sat before him and he poked one of the gyoza dumplings with his chopsticks. Talking about getting into brawls would probably send the wrong message to the chef and could get him kicked out, or worse. |

The disinterested look that the bespeckled boy gave him sent chills down his spine,"Ah~! The stoic types are always my favorite!" The strange boy hugged his arms, wiggling in his chair from the pure excitement. Such a handsome stranger in his midst! It had been too long since he'd found someone who looked at him like that, especially when he brushed him off like he did! Just thinking about how cool and collected he was made Haru grin from ear to ear. This would definitely be a nice catch if he could reel it in. His childish wiggle came to a stop when Hisoka slapped his shoulder, bringing him back to reality,"Oh! Where are my manners? My name is Haruka. Haruka Umezuka." While the handsome boy extended his hand out to meet his, his smaller partner focused back on the ramen in front of her, occasionally stealing glances up at the scene Haru was starting to create. It felt like everywhere they went, Haru always ended up the center of attention. Even if it was unintentional. His loud voice and ability to get overly-excited very easily didn't win over everyone, but it left quite a surprising amount wanting more. Though Hisoka wasn't aware of the act that Haru had put on for years, he did it for that exact reason- to keep people coming. To make sure that no matter how many individuals came and went from his life, he'd always have replacements. He'd never be left alone if the facade kept people craving his presence. Haru shrugged, the same winning smile as bright and fake as ever,"Typically I do go just by 'Haru', but I wouldn't mind being called something else by those lovely lips of yours." He crossed his legs, one foot resting on the bottom bar of the barstool. Just thinking about the stranger calling him 'darling' or 'his sweet prince' had him fanning himself with his hand,"Pheeew~! Chef, could I get some water over here? It has suddenly become so hot!" With a quick downward tug at the buttons on his dress shirt, he practically tore his shirt open. His collarbones and the top of his pectorals were visible, porcelain skin shining from the sweat. Wow. He wasn't kidding. Haru really was getting hot and bothered over this indifferent nerd. One of his buttons flew off, shooting into the bowl of ramen that Hisoka was still enjoying. Small droplets of broth hit her glasses, and she sat in silence for a good while, accepting that this was her life. Without a word, she removed them, cleaning them on Haru's suit jacket that was hanging off the small back of the barstool. The chef brought over the water he had requested in a small glass, and he nodded in return. His hand was reaching out to take it in his grasp when he noticed the boy going in for another one of his gyoza. Before it reached his mouth, however, Haru went in for the kill- taking the entire piece of gyoza into his own mouth. He chewed and swallowed, smiling at how close the two were now that Haru had done something so blatantly stupid,"Thank you, Megane-kun! Though, I'm sure it wasn't nearly as tasty as you~" Whether Haru knew what he had done and was confident enough to ignore it or he was simply too stupid to realize what he had done was unclear. Even Hisoka had stopped to watch Haru's death sentence. He may have seen it was cute and endearing, but it is an unspoken rule to not come between a man and his gyoza. Especially a stranger's gyoza. |

The stranger went on and on, Kyousuke couldn't help but feel put off by his words. The more he flirted the more that Kyousuke was irritated, he couldn't even grasp why it was as irritating as it was to him. Maybe it was because he was sticking his head and just about half his body into someone else's personal space or the fact that he seemed to be completely ignoring his companion. Even if they weren't an item like Kyousuke assumed, it seemed incredibly rude and self absorbed for him to just completely disregard her. "..." Kyousuke lightly shook his head for a moment at what was ending up being effectively a strip show, he was starting to feel really bad for his friend. It wasn't even like Kyousuke to care but his annoyance at what was quickly becoming every word and action of the boy was just helping to colour his other perception's of him. When the gyoza that he picked up was taken from him in a quick and cruel manner Kyousuke's face darkened. He followed up with a sigh as he turned towards the boy with a cold, calm frown. "Guess we'll never find out." He took a deep breath as he placed his now contaminated chopsticks down on the bench, fishing another pair out of the cup full of them sitting to the right of him. "Also generally taking other's people food is pretty impolite." He pointed the chopsticks towards Haru, he knew that it was rude but this boy was really starting to get on his nerves. "And that's not even getting started on exposing yourself in public." After the words left his mouth Kyousuke almost face palmed, if his previous behaviour was any indication he had just given the boy about a small munitions factory worth of ammo to comment on. Realizing his mistake Kyousuke simply turned back towards his food and started to eat some of the ramen in front of him, picking the noodles up and eating them. The quicker he ate his food the quicker he could get away from this annoying guy. Picking up one of the pieces of pork he plopped it into his mouth, seemingly attempting to ignore the stranger. In his speed he some of the broth fell on his cheek, unrealised to him. |

The handsome boy's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. First, his invaluable lips had touched the Megane's chopsticks and he didn't enjoy it. And now he was being shamed for opening a few buttons?! Haru could understand playing hard to get, but this was becoming a bit ridiculous, even for him."You think this is exposing myself in public?" He questioned in a low voice, standing suddenly enough to nearly knock the stool he was sitting on to the ground if Hisoka hadn't caught it. A smirk curved on his lips and he chuckled to himself as he turned to his victim, "Now, my dear Megane-kun, that's where you're wrong. because-" A swift and forceful foot was planted on the bottom bar of the bespeckled boy's stool by Haru as his hands moved to the last remaining buttons on his white dress shirt. One might expect him to simply unbutton the rest like a normal person, but Haru was painfully far from normal. With an exaggerated pull from both sides, his shirt burst open, revealing the toned chest he was hiding underneath. He made sure to keep the shirt from falling off of his shoulders, the scars that covered his back remaining hidden to all. "This is exposing myself in public!" Though there were few souls in the Izakayai, all of them looked at the commotion being brought up at the bar. It was strange-looking, to say the least- a tall, rich looking boy revealing his bare chest to an unsuspecting and cold nerd. Even the chef, who had stayed rather quiet throughout all of Haru's advances, was beginning to look quite peeved with what he could only assume were wealthy tourists. With the lack of manners and strange clothing, it was possible. A loud slam was made behind the rich boy's back, causing him to turn around in shock. The petite girl that had sat through every annoying thing that Haru had done thus far had slammed her chopsticks onto the bar, her bangs hiding the anger that was growing in her eyes as her head turned slowly to face her partner, "Haruka Umezuka." There were many things that scared the Haru that he didn't show to the public- being abandoned, whips, being confined, tight spaces. But the only thing that could send chills up the socially-acceptable Haru's spine was a very angry and very cute midget. A squeak escaped his lips, taking the foot off of the stranger's stool and running around to his other side. He peered over the mess of black hair that was sitting atop the boy's head, watching Hisoka as she glared at him with harsh, copper eyes. It was sexy when other people did it, but it just spelled out 'death' when she did! His hands were pressed firmly on the boy's shoulder as he continued to glance over his head,"Y-You can't touch me now, H-Hisoka-chan! Megane-kun will protect me!" He practically yelled it, not taking into consideration that the poor boy would be deafened by it. After he taunted the rage-filled girl, he sunk down behind the boy's body in an attempt to disappear from Hisoka's sight. It wouldn't work, of course, considering she could switch her Scanner on to see his rapid heart rate behind the bespeckled teen, but it didn't occur to him at the time. Now that he was hiding behind the stranger, Haru noticed stray droplets on the boy's face,"Oh, Megane-kun? You have some broth on your cheek." A slender finger pointed uncomfortably close to where the broth had splattered, so close that he almost touched the Megane's face itself with his bare hands. "Here, I'll get it." If the stranger wouldn't swat his hand away first, Haru would reach for the bottom of his open shirt, wiping away any trace of ramen broth that had splashed upon such a cute face. His tongue was peeping out of his mouth determinedly as he did so, as if it was taking all of his concentration to do such a simple task. This wasn't an attempt at trying to get into his pants, but just a kind favor that Haru didn't mind doing. His shirt would surely be stained afterward, though, but he didn't mind. |

Kyousuke was a fool, a stupid and foolish person for not believing that the stranger would go even further. Why that thought hadn't crossed his mind was something that even Kyousuke wasn't aware of until the very moment that he placed his foot onto the bottom of the stool he was sitting on. Not through any want Kyousuke noticed the relatively well built chest of the boy, he was admittedly a bit surprised. He figured that he would probably be some scrawny spoiled kid but he seemed like he would be able to hold himself reasonably well, at least if his build was any representation of his capabilities. For all Kyousuke knew he could just be all brawn and no skill, something that he had seen quite often before. The chef of the establishment gritted his teeth as his mouth turned to a frown, he calmly walked off to the back of the restaurant, before he passed through a small curtain separating the kitchen and bench from the backroom Kyousuke noticed him pulling out a phone. Was he about to make a complaint to the police? That would be fine, it might get him away from the annoying boy. If it wasn't the police however then things were about to get a lot more messy. His eyes were pulled back behind him as the annoying boy was using him as a shield, he sighed and lightly turned towards the girl expecting something to (rightfully) be thrown at Haru with him potentially getting caught in the crossfire. He winced as sound erupted right beside his ears, his irritation rising to a height that even Kyousuke wasn't aware that it could reach, his façade as a calm, collected person starting to crack apart as he wanted nothing more then to force him to calm down. When the boy cleaned up the droplet on his face Kyousuke glanced at him for a second, he was expecting much worse from that situation. Maybe he did have some self control after all. He grabbed hold of the piece of shirt after it had wiped off the droplet of broth and with a sharp sense of concentration got to work. Unless the shirt was pulled away Haru would find his shirt seemingly stitching itself back shut, regardless of the lack of buttons. "You really shouldn't be making that much ruckus." He sighed, why was he getting so involved with someone like this. Did he anger some greater being and this was his punishment? With one of the problems solved Kyousuke leant forward slightly, abandoning his role as an obstruction of line of sight between the two of them. "Also I don't think I said anything about protecting you." Frankly speaking he was all forward for the small girl to properly berate the boy for behaving as rudely as he had been. Tech

The Megane's sudden touch made Haru's heart flutter, not truly expecting for him to even breathe in his direction, let alone place a hand on his chest! Bright green eyes watched as the shirt he had torn open was closed, stitches locking it in place to prevent further tearing. Though the bespeckled boy may have done this as an attempt to stop Haru's cheeky tactics, it only made the raven-haired boy even more excitable. Curious hands and eyes looked over the patchwork, checking for mistakes. But, there was none. A gleeful smile appeared on Haru's face, and he grabbed the stranger's forearm with both hands, shaking it excitedly,"That was amazing, Megane-kun!" The seductive Haru from before had all but melted away, leaving nothing but the obnoxiously cheerful Haru in its place. Had he given up on trying to make this boy his lover? Most likely, now that the stranger had made it blatantly obvious that he wasn't and never would be interested in the Umezuka bachelor. Megane-kun's strange Quirk got Haru just a bit excited, prompting him to bring up his own,"My Quirk is booooring~! It's only useful in fights and it's not flashy..." Ah yes, the Umezuka clan's bloodline technique. It was an odd one, no doubt, but it had been passed down in the family for generations. With just one kiss, the user would be filled with a burst of energy. As if those chosen lips had unlocked a gate that burst through the user's entire nervous system. Fighting felt too easy when he pecked someone's lips. The whole battle would be a blur, forgetting the adrenaline that pumped through his veins after it was all over. The thoughts of his Quirk were brought to a screeching halt when the bespeckled teenager... began looking after him? Or so Haru thought. What the stranger thought was a verbal beating sounded almost welcoming to the raven-haired boy. It was kind of him to keep his persona in line, and he almost immediately calmed down after the Megane had said so. "No protection?" Haru began to whine but reeled it in. His signature pout turned into a faint smile, tapping on the bar as he still stood next to the Megane,"Ah, I guess that's fair. Sweet revenge for eating that gyoza of yours~" A soft chuckle left his lips, and Hisoka could finally relax since the moment she stepped foot into the ramen bar. She hopped back onto her stool, picking up the chopsticks she had previously slammed down. "Now, Megane-kun. As much as I love calling you that, you must have a real name." The whole point of this mask he kept on was to hide. To hide the parts of him that the public wouldn't like. That this stranger didn't like. His new, tame nature may come as shocking to the bespeckled teenager, or he might just not care altogether. Whatever happened, Haru would still stick close to the bespeckled teenagers side, tapping the bar rhythmically with his slender fingers. |

"It's nothing." Kyousuke responded at the amazement that Haru had shown in response to the use of his quirk. Out of the two quirks that he had happened to be gifted with it was the lesser in terms of strength but where it missed strength it made up for in terms of incredible versatility. "A small trick." He looked at his own shirt that was resting over a t-shirt. The idea of always carrying around a weapon with you was one that did make it a bit more useful then Kyousuke was initially expecting it to be. Hearing Haru talking about how his own quirk was useful in a fight caused Kyousuke to raise an eyebrow in curiosity. He wondered what that meant, to him it sounded like a really interesting quirk. One that he would like to go against. Unfortunately though Kyousuke knew that he couldn't really cause a fight in the izakayai and on top of that he had a sneaking suspicion that he couldn't goad the boy into a fight, it seemed like Haru was of a far to cheerful disposition for that to be possible. He was genuinely starting to be unsure as to whether this was an act or if the boy was just that incredibly cheerful. It seemed like Haru's companion had managed to calm herself down, Kyousuke was a bit annoyed. He was sort of hoping to see the boy get pulled up a bit more for the ruckus that he was making. He reasoned that the girl probably wanted to avoid making a bigger scene herself which Kyousuke could fully understand. "Tokikaze Kyousuke." He had no problem giving his name out to someone, it wasn't like the name did much if at all. People would have to dig pretty deep to find out anything about him beyond the fact that he had grown up in an orphanage. "That's my name." The chef walked back through the curtain, clearly off of the phone now. His eyes glanced at the three of them before walking back to his pots and pans and continuing to cook for everyone else. Kyousuke felt a small shiver of excitement run down his spine, that kind of secrecy most likely meant that he called someone who he paid for protection purposes. That meant that people were probably going to be coming pretty soon to try and kick them all out, a prime opportunity to get some more brawling in before the night was done. A sense of excitement almost radiating him as he waited for the opportunity that would hopefully present itself. |

Haru gasped as the stranger finally told the excitable teenager his name, "That's such a cute name!" Returning to his seat with a twirl around the back of Kyousuke, he rested his elbows back onto the bar as he had done previously. His viridian eyes watched the boy happily, but he noticed the chef appear once more into the main room. It wasn't like Haru was blissfully unaware of how annoyed the owner was with the trio. He may play the fool, but he is far from it. Keeping the older man in his vision, he smiled back at Kyousuke,"I'm going to call you... Toki-chan~!" The ramen bowl that his smaller partner was eating was slid in front of him, and he gladly dug into it. The commoner food was just as good as he would have thought! It was a bit too salty for his liking, always enjoying spicier food than anything else, but he still continued slurping the noodles out of the bowl like he hadn't eaten in weeks. The owner of the izakayai looked over to the entrance, where new footsteps had broken through the near-vacant ramen shop. Hisoka's hand grabbed her partner's forearm, his muscles tensing up from the sudden contact and stopping his chopsticks from reaching his mouth. He knew all too well what it signified, and he looked over his shoulder at the izakayai's entrance at the two figures that had appeared. The Baddies One was much more inhuman than the other- a large, brown bird dressed in thuggish looking clothing. The other, gray-haired man was wearing much similar clothing, but a strange mask and covered most of his face. A scar ran across his nose just above the mask, looking as if it cut his face in two. Before Haruka could ask her to do her thing, she was already activating her Scanner. Copper eyes shifted to an eerily bright teal, shining brightly behind her square spectacles. Her eyes looked intensely at the two men,"The bird is just as he looks. The gray-haired one, however-" She let her partner and the newly acquainted nerd next to them, but was cut off when the bird-man's voice rose,"Oi." It was low and raspy, one that someone wouldn't expect from a bird. Their appearance silenced the restaurant, the few tables that were taken up quieting down to murmurs. Haru spun around completely on his stool like a child, leaning forward to rest his arm on his thigh with a playful smile, as if a cat had just found new prey,"Is there a problem?" They looked a bit taken aback by his sudden openness, sharing glances between each other before looking back at the trio. "Yeah. There is." The same voice from before croaked in response, his large, taloned feet moving towards the bar slowly. An innocent outing between new friends had turned for the worse,"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Haruka hopped off his stool, welcoming their new opponents with open arms. The bird stepped closer to Haru, not hesitating to attempt to swing his wing at the boy's head. It was not before the flexible boy swiftly dropped down to a squat, the feathered man missing narrowly,"Tsk tsk." Mocking the birdman, his avian head would meet the same ramen bowl that Haru was eating from just moments ago, courtesy of Hisoka. Stumbling back and reaching for the bowl with his wings to knock it off, Haru would shoot up. The second he'd manage to get it off, his beak would meet the bottom of the trust fund kid's shoe- a swift roundhouse kick knocking him down a few pegs,"I did warn you, Beak-chan!" He snickered, relishing in the new fun they were about to have in this izakayai. As soon as the violence began, the innocent bystanders rushed to the exit. This might be an inconvenience for the trio, the stories of what happened here surely being heard by law enforcement. Beak-chan stumbled back to his partner, looking much more aggravated than before. Haru would do nothing but chuckle to himself, cracking his knuckles with a toothy grin on his face. Before he could charge forward at the two, Hisoka spoke up, now able to finish the sentence from before,"Be careful of the gray-haired one's mouth. My Scanner is picking up toxins and a gland in the back of his throat with much more." Haru nodded, the same smirk still plastered on his face. This was a game to him. And it was one he knew he could win. Techs

"Fine, I guess." He didn't really have any arguments against whatever Haru called him. Besides he wasn't exactly expecting to run back into the boy any time son so it wasn't like he would be hearing the nickname that had been given to him. Besides if he was right they would soon have bigger problems to contend with which weren't just something as silly as what nickname he had been given by the boy. As if on queue he heard heavy footsteps enter into the store, a smile appeared on Kyousuke's face. It looked like he was right, the owner had called in help and to make it even better, it wasn't law enforcement. If things went how he expected he couldn't even get in trouble for self defence, it wasn't even like the owner had asked them to leave to begin with. He glanced back as well, the pair of them were one hundred percent not law enforcement and he would be willing beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were not heroes either. They were likely street thugs that were getting protection money from the stores around the area. Kyousuke eyed the pair of them before listening in to the conversation beside him, it seemed like the girl had some kind of informative ability, that was kind of an amazing ability. Kyousuke was about to try and taunt the pair of them into a fight but much to his own surprise that wasn't even necessary, Haru himself had started to effectively taunt them even if it wasn't what Kyousuke would've said. He was surely aware of what they were there for right? It was pretty obvious to Kyousuke but he admittedly wasn't sure whether or not the situation was clear to Haru. Then everything started as if on queue, Haru had approached and mocked the birdman and in something that surprised Kyousuke shown quite effective combat skills. He moved with a fluidity that was not untrained, maybe he had been wrong about him. Kyousuke's grin grew a bit wider as he tossed his glasses down onto the bar alongside the bowl of ramen that he was now abandoning as he stood up himself. "Leave something for me." He kicked the stool out from behind him as the gray haired man noticed his involvement in the fight as well and moved forward to attack him. The man charged at him with his arms held high in an attempt to grab him and from what Kyousuke had heard the girl say likely end up biting him or some other equal bad situation. "Really, you think that low of me." Kyousuke asked the man who was charging at him as his right foot lifted off the ground shooting into his side while the recoil shot back through Kyousuke's limb the kick wasn't done yet as a shock wave of vibrations shot towards the man causing him to be launched into the wall. The man looked at him incredulously as he picked himself up, rolling his body as if to try and disperse the pain. "Troublesome brats, aren't ya." He voiced aloud earning a laugh from Kyousuke in response. This seemed like it would end up being quite the fun fight, especially considering that at least the gray haired guy didn't go down after a single kick. The owner of the izakayai watched on in horror, he had expected that they would just convince them to leave, not that a fight was going to break out inside his pub that would cause damages and disrepair and also bad press. On top of all that the police would get involved and likely end up making trouble for him since he had connections to petty criminals. How did everything go so wrong? If he knew this was going to occur he wouldn't have done anything in the first place. Tech Used

The two boys were both on the same page when it came to fighting, it seemed. Though it was Haru that started it all with his teasing, it seemed the Megane was willing to fight alongside the rich teen. Well, he at least thought it was because his presence was growing on his bespeckled companion. Not that Kyousuke just loved to fight. A kick from Kyousuke sent the gray-haired man flying into the wall, leaving quite the mark against it. The loud impact made Haru flinch, but his face lit up when the enemy still got up. Such resilience was fun to toy with! "That was amazing, Toki-chan~!" From watching his strange new acquaintance kick ass, he had let his guard down. The irritated bird-man from before brought his left wing up, a half-dozen, razor-sharp feathers shooting out like bullets at both Hisoka and Haru. It wasn't as if he hadn't expected the bird to retaliate when his attention was elsewhere. Haru was already reaching for a nearby stool and Hisoka's hand when he lifted his wing, pulling his companion behind him while he hurled the seat from the ground toward their opponent. Half of his feathers were already being sent out by the time the stool smacked into him, three feathers slicing a cut into Haru's cheek, forearm, and bicep. It stung, but not as much as it would have to see his ex-fiancee and partner in pain from the razors. The feather at his bicep cut his sleeve open and shot past Hisoka's head, hitting the wall behind the bar. The other three feathers that would have pierced the boy were shot astray into either the stool or the bar next to them."I thought you said he was just a bird!" Haru winced as he wiped the blood on his cheek, the cut much deeper than he would have thought. In quite the panic, Hisoka's words poured out as she looked upon her love's wounds,"S-S-Slight mis-miscalculation!" The response was jumbled as she tried her best to wipe away the blood from his arms. While the bird was recovering from the strange makeshift weapon that was thrown at him, Haru spoke up to Kyousuke,"Toki-chan, I need to kiss you." His voice wasn't the same cheerful one he always put on, reflecting more urgency in it. After those cuts, it had slapped a sliver of sense into Haru. This was an attack. Hell, if the feathers had grazed his neck the wrong way. It would have been a blessing. But, not for Hisoka. He didn't want to terrify her like that. He sighed, realizing what that sounded like after his advances,"This isn't a lame pick-up line this time either! I need mouth contact to activate my Quirk! God... it sounds fake when I put it like that..." They were running out of time for him to do what he wanted. A small peck on Kyousuke's mouth was nothing to write home about, but it was life or death now. Haru would try to go in for a kiss on Kyousuke, grabbing his hand and attempting to bring him close. Though, if there was any resistance, he would scoff and reach over to Hisoka. Regardless of who he smooched, that boy was determined to activate his Quirk! The second after their lips touched, it was if a floodgate had opened inside of Haru. Adrenaline pumped through his veins at a supernatural level, eyes shooting open and glowing a vibrant green as he broke the contact between the two. Power coursed through every part of his body and his fists ached for something to strike blood out of. And his first target would be the overgrown chicken that dared to make him bleed. The sudden and overwhelming strength was never something Haru was never used to, and he knew once that kiss was made that the battle would end very soon. Everything would become a blur in his memory after this one moment. The fists that would fly would be fuzzy in his mind, only his bloodied knuckles a reminder of what had happened. A mischevious snarl left Haru's toothy grin, and he lunged forward at the bird with his hand at the ready. The sudden leap from the boy took the enemy slightly aback, his beak opening to chomp down on the hand that was quickly approaching his face. The bird's attack did go through as his beak came down on Haru's hand. But, he persevered. With the way he positioned his hand before impact, the bird's attack was focused on the sides of his palm. The frenzied teen felt his pinky pop out of place from the force, but he continued through with his plan and slammed the back of the bird's head into the table behind him as he landed. Haru, half expecting the table to break in half, was surprised to see that the bird hadn't fallen through broken pieces. However, it didn't surprise him in the slightest to see that his assault had knocked his avian opponent out cold. Stolen Kiss sent immeasurable power into Haru. It wasn't something he could control well, and he always forgot everything that happened when it was activated. It was a huge drawback, given that with the energy that came pouring out of him, his emotions weren't being held back either. The damaged person wanted to bring pain, and bring it he would. With the bird out cold, the overwhelmed boy grabbed his shirt and pulled his entire feathered body onto the table. In his power-hungry state, it made sense to him to keep the pair that intruded on their pleasant night from leaving. Haru clutched one of the ankles of his opponent with an almost rabid look in his eye, positioning his elbow over his knee. Hisoka had already looked away and plugged her ears, knowing how sadistic her partner could get with his Quirk activated. All she could do is pick up the pieces when he eventually snapped out of it,"STAY DOWN!" The voice that erupted from Haru didn't sound like his own, pushing the bird's leg up higher just to bring a strong elbow down on his knee. A sickening crack resounded through the izakayai, fortunately not heard by the frightened girl standing near the bar. The teenager walking around the table to reach for the other ankle of his opponent wasn't Haru. It just... couldn't be. Techs and LP

Kyousuke paid the comments from Haru no attention as his opponent brought himself to his feet, he didn't really have enough time to respond or even think of a response when his head was so fully in the fight. To do so would only be putting himself at a disadvantage especially when his was someone that had had to be on guard against. One careless move and whatever toxins he could produce could quite easily end up in Kyousuke's own system and would ravage him. He noticed that Haru had been wounded by the bird man, it seemed like they weren't just the thugs that Kyousuke was expecting them to be. It was starting to make sense that they were the ones responsible for actually following up on the protection racket being run, Kyousuke wouldn't be surprised if they were some of the stronger individuals of the racket. He couldn't think much more on it as a punch was thrown towards him, Kyousuke quickly held up his arms in a cross to soften the blow, he felt the force behind the blow push him back and send a shock wave of pain through his arms, taking a step back he found himself near the other fight. He couldn't let himself get pushed into that fight or it would only end up hurting the pair of them. Suddenly he was requested a kiss from Haru? The world seemed to slow down to a stop. "W-wait, what?" Even his opponent was a bit taken back by what he had just heard to the point where it stopped. "What?" He only somewhat comprehended what was even being stated. A light blush crossed his face at the thought occurring, if he had been asked that when he wasn't revelling in the fight he would be able to assess it calmly but why was it asked there? Whether it was due to actually being fine with it or just overclocking completely in an attempt to understand what Haru was even on about, Kyousuke didn't react at all and felt Haru's lips touch his. Before he could even make any more comments to even try to assess what had happened Haru had returned to his fight and Kyousuke heard a mocking laugh from his own opponent. "Heh, you're into that ey." The muscled grey haired man taunted Kyousuke and suddenly his own confusion gave way to a surprisingly raging fire inside of him. "You know, I was going to let you off with some small injures." Kyousuke's eyes locked onto the man as his mouth turned into a sadistic smile and he cracked his knuckles. "Now I think I'm going to break you." His opponent began to run at him throwing an overhead punch towards him, Kyousuke deftly stepped down forward and past him ending up beside the bar, his hand reached out grabbing a stool which he swung around towards the man's back, a crunch echoed through as the stool broke upon impact sending the grey haired man to the floor with a cry of pain. Kyousuke took a step over his body to continue his assault only to hear a loud crunch echo from over near where Haru was. When he turned to witness what was happening he could scarcely recognise the boy as the jovial jokester he was previously talking to. There was nothing there but a monster, one that was about to go to far for Kyousuke's own personal code. "B-bro." He looked down at the man standing beneath him who weakly reached out as if to try and stop Haru from what he was about to do despite his own personal state. "Damn it all." Kyousuke jumped forward throwing his arm forward as his overshirt began to unwind launching itself towards Haru from the side, if he didn't move then it would quickly wrap it around his waist and with a forceful tug would pull him towards Kyousuke whose free hand was waiting to grab hold of his head in an attempt to push him down to the ground. "That's far enough." He hated actually having to do this to someone who was on his side in the middle of the fight but this was more then what he was willing to let happen. Someone's death was never the right way to go about a situation, even if the situation was as tense and real as it was currently. Tech Used

Haru's harsh punishment was about to be repeated on the other leg of the bird until Kyousuke intervened, sending the crazed boy to the ground. His head shot up to see who his attacker was, but it was quickly slammed into the ground. "That's far enough." The Megane's words only fueled Haru's scorching anger, but he was powerless against the hand keeping him down,"You think they would have done the same for us?!" It was hard to stay still when his Quirk wanted him to do anything but. The pinned teenager tried and succeeded at escaping Kyousuke's grasp on his head, falling back onto his ass. Scrambling to his knees, his Quirk's power now draining from him, he reached for the teenager's collar."I was only making sure they understood who they're dealing with!" Fists clenched around Kyousuke's collar, Haru practically yelling directly into his face to try and get his point across. The initial boost of energy from the kiss he stole was fading fast, but the fire in his chest was too large for it to be doused by his self-control,"You're either the butcher or the cattle, Tokikaze Kyousuke!" His eyes stung with tears as the words came out, his intense gaze into Kyousuke's brown eyes broke, his head dropping as he became more and more choked up. Haru's hands were shaking as he tried desperately to keep the strength alive,"And I..." Brimming to the point of nearly falling, hot tears swelled in the boy's eyes. The monster from before was going back to hide beneath the boy's skin, his consciousness slowly returning to him. Anger had subsided, his head raising back up to look into Kyousuke's eyes,"And I am through with being the cattle..." His voice trailed off along with his strength, the hands on the Megane's collar dropping. The dizziness and weakness piled up on his fatigued body, and Haru would have fallen onto Kyousuke's body had it not been for his petite companion. She grabbed the back of his collar before he could get any closer to the Megane,"God, you're heavy," Hisoka complained, pulling the boy up to his feet. With her help, he managed to stumble over to one of the remaining stools at the bar, leaning against it with heavy breaths. The avian man was beginning to come to, groaning as he shifted around on the table. Though she looked so small, Hisoka Inoue was always ready to clean up all of Haru's messes. Looking after him, even if it felt sometimes like babysitting, gave her something to do when they traveled. She walked over to the bird, holding him down as best she could,"Moving him would just injure his leg further. I have a friend who can come and heal your friend right up. And, by the time she gets here, we'll be long gone." Before either of the thugs could protest, her phone was already in her hand. Multitasking was second nature to the girl, her finger moving across the screen as she typed in a text,"I'm sure we can all agree that we shouldn't let this get out, yes? We all used our Quirks without a license. No need to trouble ourselves further over something this pointless." Finishing up contacting her friend, she swapped the wallet in her pocket for her phone, pulling out a wad of 10,000 yen bills and placing them on the bird's chest. Whatever the owner was paying them, she would try her damnedest to one-up him. Sighing, she walked back towards Kyousuke and offered him a hand up. Whether he took it or not, she'd try her best to make things right,"Tokikaze-san, I am sorry that this happened. Haru's Quirk is... damaging. Sometimes to those around him, but always to himself." Though her words felt so cold, concern was held on Hisoka's face. Since she practically fleed from Japan with Haru, she was always looking out for his image. The role of the caretaker was just something she fell into, whether she wanted it or not. Without Hisoka, there would be no Haru. It was yin and yang. He kept her alive in combat, and she made sure he was alive to make it to the next fight. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a business card. Inoue Industries was written across the top in bold, gold letter, along with contacts for what looked like Hisoka's father,"Thank you for intervening. If you need anything, this is the number for my father's private phone. Tell him that Hisoka owes a favor, and he will do all that he can." She wanted to say more but was interrupted by a feeble voice behind her. "Toki-chan..." Haru's face was flushed of all color, dark purple bags resting beneath his eyes. Sickly would be one word to describe it, but he just looked so different from his typical cheerful facade. He rested weakly on the bar, muted green eyes looking at Kyousuke,"The kiss... or what I can remember of it..." A forced and strengthless smile tugged at his lips, his deathly pale features looking as if they might crack just from the faintest movement. "It was nice." |

Listening to Haru's words Kyousuke was surprised that they were coming from the boy, then again he was being full of surprises right now. Literally less then twenty minutes ago and Kyousuke would still have the point of view that he was nothing more then a playful fool who hadn't seen a single bad thing in his life. Slowly the truth was being revealed and even if that was the front he put on, it was clear that through the use of his quirk Haru quickly became a monster, one that even Kyousuke found hard not to criticise. "Maybe, maybe not." He didn't really hold a grudge against the two that had attacked them, at the end of the day they had reaped the results from the path that they had chose, nothing more and nothing less. It would be no different from holding it against a security guard for throwing you out of somewhere else for being rowdy after all. "I think you've already proved that." He parried Haru's further complaints as he continued to scream at him. He was truly broken wasn't he. "You can see it like that but I won't." Kyousuke replied calmly despite being screamed at, he knew that if he got angry it wouldn't be solving anything. "A life of constant fear whether suffering or causing it is something that I'm not all that interested in." Kyousuke released the boy who at this point was seeming to lose just about all energy, he felt his collar loosen as the boy fell forward towards him. Kyousuke's arm moved forward to hold him up only to see that his companion had managed to steady him and moved him towards the nearby bar. Something had obviously happened to him to make him see the world like that. Even though Kyousuke liked fighting, even to the point where it was one of the few times he truly felt alive, it was never to scar someone permanently, whether that be mentally or physically. Kyousuke watched Hisoka assist Haru and then with a surprising level of professionalism began to tidy up the situation, more metaphorically then literally of course. Not only did she offer the two thugs healing and a reason for all present to stay quiet but at the same time she made it pretty apparent that they had some connections, Kyousuke couldn't even begin to fathom how she was willing to just throw away that amount of money. While he never really wanted for much since he was fine as long as he could fight, it was still such an alien action to him. Guess that was just another indication of how people were different. "No, it's fine." He waved Hisoka's apology off, it wasn't something that had affected him personally so he didn't really have any problems with it himself. "Just make sure he gets some rest, almost looks like he needs it more then these two." He took the business card that had confined his suspicions about the pair of them before pocketing it. He never really liked calling on favours, made him feel like he was making people do things for him out of a sense of repayment rather then want. It was then that Hisoka was interrupted once more by Haru, this time his comment was a lot harder for Kyousuke to take and he ended up frowning. "Or better yet leave him here." He growled under his voice at the reminder of the fact that in the middle of a fight he kissed him. The gray haired man stood brought himself to his feet and hobbled over to the unconscious bird man. "Look, fine." He was shaken up and even though he tried to put on his tough front it wasn't even remotely convincing. "This is way to much trouble for what it's worth." He seemed to just want everything to be brought to an end. He held a hand hovering over his friend's broken leg as if he was going to touch it before his hand curled into a fist and found rest on the desk beside his friend. He wasn't expecting something like this to happen. Kyousuke on the other hand began to walk towards the exit of the store. "Well, now that it's all sorted I'm gone." He glanced back at Hisoka and Haru and the bird man and the gray haired man before resting on the chef who was hiding in the back, peering out. He had to close up his shop eventually and when he did Kyousuke would be waiting there to have a 'talk' with the man. Despite his earlier feelings talking to Haru he couldn't help but feel angry towards the shop owner, not only was he not fighting his own fight but at the same time he didn't even have the decency to ask them to be quiet. The thoughts bubbled in anger in Kyousuke's head as his hand closed tightly into a fist. "Maybe I do hold grudges sometimes." A quiet murmur escaped from him as he left the exit of the store, in no time at all it would be like he was just another face in the crowd, an advantage of being on his own home turf but he would be back soon for his 'talk'. [Exit] |
