Artistic Infatuation!

Ability: The holder of this quirk may instill strong romantic feelings into their target, like a "love at first sight!" crush that fills their lonely heart, by illsutrating the target's depiction over any medium [No photography] and showing it to them.

Limitations:
This quirk will not work fully on those who is already in love! The user would only appear more physically attractive to the target.

This quirk can't work unless the target sees the illustration made by the user of the quirk.

Limit Pool Break Debuff:
Should the user of the quirk breach their limit, they take a -2 debuff to their Accuracy.
Blinded by the backlash of romantic feelings!

What is your goal out of this?
Mm.. I'm not really sure how to take that as a direct question, on the forefront, my goal of submitting this quirk is to have it accepted so that I can claim it on my character that I built around it earlier yesterday.
I can't say whether or not I ever had any kind of serious goal in mind when I thought of the quirk, other than the fact that the character I made was based on a certain personality type and I felt that this quirk-idea was best fitting for it.

So if the point of your question is to unearth some alterior motive, or if you're looking for some kind of drawn out explanation of my future wantings in MHARP, Im sorry to disappoint, most of this was generally on a whim and I've just come to enjoy the idea : )

ICly, really I've always enjoyed RPing as characters that start off with weak or relatively useless quirks so that the character has to be creative and generally use their own honed skills and power to excell. It's like creating a challenge for myself, as well it adds to future character development. The quirk itself is just something I based off the character's personality type, I'm less a combat RP-er and more just in it for the roleplay : D

Goal as in how is this applied in character? What does being "infatuated" do?

Generally, this would be described as being inspired with an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for whatever it is in question. So, what does being in this state of mind actually do, would it buff them, would it make them obedient, are you able to literally just draw what people find most pleasing? While being open ended is fine, the quirkiness about it just throws me off and is quite refreshing; however, it is beyond vague.

How do people RP that if they don't understand what type of infatuation it is, some may be infatuated with idea of murdering someone and find that quite romantic, unless that is completely up to them and fully RPable no matter the situation? There is a lot more too it and to be honest this isn't a "weak" quirk at all, I can think of a million ways to use this an make an army of people. I don't see why you need to go on a longer, drawn out explanation about "starting weak" and "getting strong" because that is how the site works?

Powerful quirks are always dominated by versatile, creative quirks. Powerful things generally can only be worked one way and do one thing while quirks such as secreting Marijuana Oil from your pours, takes more forethought to be useful. It worries me that you felt the need to explain that when all I asked was what was your goal with the quirk (other than getting it passed, honestly not sure if you thought that was cute or what, but I didn't).

For clarification, I hadn't really intended for it to -be- strong, and whether its "how the site works" isn't something I as a player who just joined but a day or so ago wouldn't really know that well. So apologies, if I've somehow offended you, you seem somewhat agitated. That wasn't my intent, by saying my goal was "to get it passed" I merely meant that your question confused me because I wasn't at all sure what you were asking particularly about, so I generally went over everything I could think of at that moment.

In regards to what in particular infatuation would do, think of it as a 'crush at first sight' highschool love kind of thing, there's not story suddenly behind the attraction the victim feels to the user, they're just suddenly "infatuated" with them, all in all, it wouldn't really have much of an affect on the character's stats, it's more so an RP quirk. Depending on who the victim is, it could be up to the player how they react. For instance, if Amatarasu were to use this quirk on a sociopath, or someone who for some strange reason has completely ignored the feelings of romance their entire life, they may not know whats happening, and ignore it, or become completely confused and not know what to do. It's meant to be versatile in that particular sense, and I can easily add limitations such as distance, maximum number of targets at one time, etc. Whatever you believe would even out the quirk itself.

I know Im answering these out of order sorry, ah. As far as how it fits into the character specifically, I can't actually say, because I thought up the idea of the quirk first, and built the character around it. I wrote her backstory based on how I thought having such a quirk would affect someone so young, and what sort of personality she would develop, growing up as a girl who could do those kinds of things. At the very least, I'd say the two things are 1 in 1. They go together, if the quirk I proposed ultimately is denied, then I'll scrap them both and think of something new : )
