"Hm. Hell's Angels...?" Vigo muttered under his breath, trying to guage the meaning of them. He had never heard of these 'Hell's Angels'. In context, they sounded like a gang-- likely the one that the chained boy had mentioned being a part of. Gang fights, and similar such activities... Vigo never took part in such things. Never had time, really. Living life was hard enough as it was without getting involved in disputes between groups on the topic of turf, or honor, anything of the sort. Perhaps Vigo owed his livelihood to the fact that he hadn't been involved; In Japan, he'd heard stories of what came of people who crossed members of the dreaded Yakuza. Trials like that would just make life harder for a kid who already only barely had his health. "It's fortunate that you were able to succeed among them, then. It's also good that they seem to have some sort of dignity... That's good." Vigo cautiously replied, somewhat unsure of his own words as he moved to search another portion of the beach. Not all gangsters were bad people. Not all upstanding citizens were good people. He knew this for a fact, and his quirk was proof of it. Unfortunately, where the lines grayed, it became harder and harder to tell what 'good' and 'bad' truly were. It was in these situations that he trusted his quirk most of all... it'd never led him wrong before. |

Hirohito already knew he had said the wrong thing. His only friend in this foreign country was becoming more and more distant and it would only be a matter of time until they parted ways. Dulls eyes followed Vigo as he slowly tried to walk away. Suddenly Hirohito shot straight up, completely ignoring his withdrawal lock he made. For a brief moment he stared at the boy silently, trying to think of what to say in order to keep him around. "Y-You know I used to live around here as a child. I can't remember much but it was enjoyable from what I can recall." He seemed almost frightened while saying this, who would have though that leaving his own habitat would instill such fear in a hardened criminal. The lock around his foot suddenly unlocked without the biker even looking down and he shook off the chains. Hiro was so close to gaining his first "tie" in this continent, he wasn't going to lost him now. You need friends in order succeed in the hero field and every possible chance at the seemingly more distant occupation should be considered. The only hard part now was to try and pass the offer of a partnership without seeming like a creep. "Hey, uh don't you think our chances at becoming a hero would increase if we worked together? I don't think you've seen my quirk but it's pretty cool. I can make platforms on anything I touch." Pistons began to separate the joints of Hiros fingers as he lifted his hand. It looked almost as if his quirk were to stretch his body, but this was completely untrue. With a piston placed on his wrist he shot out his hand like a grapple hook into the tree where he placed his suitcase. The hand retracted and pulled the suitcase down with it until it was back on his arm. "Oh uh, sorry about the suitcase. I can't help messing around with people sometimes." Once again that unnervingly innocent smile flashed on his face. "I call my quirk Pistons, I won't tell you its full extents in case we end up against one another somehow... But know having me as an ally would get you far." |

Vigo paused for a moment’s time, first stopping in place as he moved to look for the briefcase in a different area before turning to look at the boy once more in response to his words. “You’re… from Japan? But you moved away, and now you’re back here…?” The strangest of things tended to click in the young boy’s mind, odd as it worked to begin with, and that statement was one of them. He didn’t have anyone to rely on, despite being from here? Strange. Still, it was only partially the words he spoke that caused Vigo to stop; another part was how he spoke them. Somewhat hastily, almost as if he just wanted to make an attempt at keeping the conversation going. His confusion only increased as, shortly thereafter, the chained boy… stopped being chained. Was he not stuck there, after all? Earlier, Vigo wrote off his claim of such as mere boasting, but as it happened, he seemed just fine. The confusion must have been apparent on Vigo’s face by this point, as the no longer chained boy started to explain himself. Quite intent was he, apparently, on the idea of their working together—something he’d mentioned earlier. It wasn’t a strange idea in and of itself; Not only heroes, but people in general needed their connections and associates to rely on for one thing or another. That was just how society worked, though Vigo was very rarely allowed the chance to be a part of said society. But why him? He began to ask, before an already perplexing (at least, to Vigo) situation became even moreso. With a unique display that slightly took Vigo aback and caused him to assume was the boy’s quirk, he reached up into a nearby tree and retrieved his briefcase… that Vigo was pretty sure he’d mentioned moments ago was somewhere buried under the sand. He frowned; Apparently that’d been a joke, a whim for his amusement. At least, that was how the boy probably wanted to convey it. Vigo, never the type to beat around the bush for what he wanted or believed in, shook his head. “You just wanted company, didn’t you?” He said in the least accusing tone he could manage. This boy was a good person. He wouldn’t waste someone’s time for no reason at all; That much, Vigo was certain of. |

Hiro froze, stared at Vigo for a good 30 seconds, slowly turned away and ran off into the darkness. Leaving the open cooler and the bike lock in the sand. Something seemed to glimmer in the sand for a moment until a large wave came by and unburied it. It was an empty medical syringe... guess Hiro wasn't doing to hot on his probation. The distant sound of glass breaking could be heard but the boy was nowhere to be found. Chances are he won't even remember you were here. [Thread Exit] (This threads been kinda clogging up other available RPs and it's been going on for like a month, figured I'd end it. |

Comments: The entire scenario of Hirohito trying to overcome his addiction through more harsh methods was quite interesting, seeing him be more 'sober' than what I see during the LA event gave a rather different view of him. The whole story about his connections with the Hells Angels and the concern his words might be offputting Vigo showcased a certain concern from Hirohito I didn't expect, what is kind of pleasant to see that he does value the opinions and what other people think about him. Still, the empty syringe at the end kind of gives an ominous feeling... better don't take those into U.A with you! Vigo's ideology and his outlook on the world and heroics in particular, partly due to the nature of his Quirk makes me look forward to seeing how he will continue to grow in the future. Hopefully, we'll see more of you two again in the future~ Just a note for Hirohito: At some point you changed Hirohito's name to Juno, any reason behind that?
