General Appearance: Kasai stands with a lean athletic build, not too bulky. His hair is about 6 inches long, which he usually lets fall down naturally instead of brushing it back like he once used to. He doesn't have any recognizable marks on him except from a nasty scar on the left side of his abdomen from getting badly stabbed with the stinger tail of a scorpion x form, along with two small bullet wounds (9mm) from a faulty attempt to stop a bank heist. One of the bullet wounds appears on the front of his left shoulder and the other is on the right side of his abdomen.
Clothing: Keeping things simple, Kasai usually wears a simple monotone T shirt and jeans, with black sneakers.
Personality: Kasai tends to be reserved most of the time, and is often lost in his own head, thinking about a lot of random things simultaneously that don't actually matter. When in a conversation, Kasai can often seem absent minded and drift in and out of the conversation while being distracted by his surroundings, though it still usually looks like he's paying attention. In more serious situations, Kasai tries to pay attention more closely to what is going on and when it comes to other people's actions, he will try to be understanding in a diplomatic way for the sake of not making others upset, but can quickly lose his patience and become frustrated. Despite any frustration, he is used to keeping it pent up because he's learned that most people respond negatively to his lash outs.

History:
History: General Background Kasai was born the oldest child of his family, with a younger brother only 2 years apart. While his quirk manifested at an early age, similar to most others he grew up with, he always felt disappointed. He always felt that his quirk never let him do anything cool like all his friends, but they could be more courageous or stupid in how they used their own because they could use him to fix up their scrapes and bruises. Always getting to see his friends get to shine and feeling obligated to fix them up afterwards but never getting the thanks or recognition he thought he deserved for at least helping them made him feel unappreciated. It was almost like one of his classmates that would let the popular kids copy homework for no real reward. His mother being a surgeon and father being a physician, they both tried to push him into the medical field, even suggesting a career as an emergency responder to make it seem more exciting, but Kasai never actually felt any sense of caring about strangers or duty to save them. As he grew up, he just wanted to find a way to develop and use his quirk in a way that made others with more exciting quirks see him as an equal, instead of an afterthought to fix their mistakes.
Development of Quirk A few months after his fourth birthday, Kasai was running up his driveway to greet his parents when he tripped and fell face first onto the pavement, scraping his palms and getting some road burn on his face and forearms. While his parents rushed over to console him, make sure he was okay, and try to bring him inside to tread and disinfect his wounds, Kasai had a hysterical crying fit and spontaneously combusted into blue flames. Never showing his quirk before, his parents weren't unsure and froze momentarily, before noticing that the broken skin was mending back up and within minutes, he looked completely healed barring the leftover blood from the previously opened wounds. Nevertheless, they rushed him to the hospital to get him checked up and relayed the events to the doctor, who in turn performed some tests and came to the conclusion that Kasai's quirk allowed him to produce flames that shared almost no qualities of most other flames such as heat, but still healed wounds and injuries.
Quirk Development Aftermath After several years of only moderate suggesting and attempted steering of Kasai towards the medical field as a professional avenue, his parents forced him into volunteer work for a local ambulance unit with EMTs and First Responders. Reluctantly, Kasai fulfilled his parents wishes and rode along with the professionals and occasionally other volunteers, gaining real world experience for not only what the front line soldiers of the medical field deal with, but also seeing heroes in action as the non heroic side of emergency workers would come to do their part. Not only was this something that Kasai disliked doing in the first place, despite his parents' orders, but seeing the heroes get all the credit and fame while the non quirk using emergency responders were basically ignored when all was said and done left some bitterness and resentment in Kasai's heart. For better or worse, Kasai still learned much of his experience, seeing how without using a healing quirk, or any quirk for that matter, deal with casualties of varying degrees, from mild concussions to sever and gut wrenching injuries. This would come to serve as a foundation of knowledge upon which Kasai would learn to apply his quirk to and expand as greatly as he could.
Up Until Current Now nearing the age where he would soon be entering high school, Kasai was growing into the person he would likely be for the rest of his life. His younger brother, someone for whom Kasai felt much love for, had also developed his own quirk and was able to use it quite effectively for his young age. It was something known as Hellfire. Also a fire type, similar to Kasai's, but this one had offensive and destructive capabilities. Given Kasai's previous feelings about his own quirks and experiences working in the field his quirk was supposed to lead him down, this caused even stronger feelings of inadequacy within him. Not only was his brother's fire better suited for combat, it was somehow unable to burn anything or any person that wasn't evil. He literally had the perfect quirk to be a hero, someone who's quirk literally could do no harm to the innocent, and as much as Kasai loved him, he couldn't help but feel jealous. Being the introverted type and not one to express himself or display his emotions, Kasai tried to deal with these complicated feelings all on his own, eventually leading him to the conflicted decision to try to attend the prestigious UA, and prove to himself that he could become an actual hero, and not just some random generic helper that blends in with all the other non-heroes at every emergency situation.
Combat, Stats & Earnings:
Combat: Kasai likes to stay on the outside of his range and force the other person to approach. Kasai will almost never throw punches, but prefers to throw kicks to wear his opponents down, or launch a really powerful kick to catch an opponent trying to rush in. If someone is able to get into a tighter range, Kasai tries to either get a clinch on the opponent's head to throw knees to his face or abdomen before either shoving them back and putting more distance between them, or going for a trip or judo toss. Kasai will also use walls and close platforms to launch himself off of to get more height and torque into his kicks.
With this advancement a character is able to reach as high as "B+" Speed.

The user of this has mastered knowledge of the medical field and has surpassed what is known and is capable of doing things unknown. Able to suture limbs back on, help with concussions, ect. The biggest strength is the ability to save someone from death. The user automatically gains a technique known as ‘On the Cusp of Death’. By cradling the target in their arms, the user can drain their LP pool to maintain someone's life force, keeping people alive long enough to successfully operate on them or let them naturally comeback and regain their strength. Take three turns of defenseless immobility.

Kasai's years of working in the hospital and in an ambulance unit has taught him the dangers of too much medicine. Kasai's flames are now able to damage people by forcing drastically sharp increases in blood cell count (both red and white) as well as forcing increases in body temperature (fever's are the body's way to fight of infection). If there is something a human body could reasonably do as a response or function to maintain health, the healing flames can basically push that function into a dangerous "overdrive." Any effects of offensive techniques caused by this EP only affect living organic matter. This enhancement allows Kasai to use his flames to create debuff techniques on others due to tricking or forcing their body to focus on recovering from nonexistent ailments.

While many situations of sudden danger may begin with Kasai near those he cares about, the lessons he's learned about teamwork have ingrained an understanding of being able to rely on others and have them rely on him as well even if they need to split up to work together in order to accomplish their goal. This lessons has helped him develop a resiliency to never completely extinguish on their own. Unless affected by a water attack equal to or higher than Kasai's control rank, when his quirk has assisted an ally (healing or buff) a small ember remains even after the technique has ended. Because of this, reactivating the same technique is treated as delayed upkeep instead of using the technique again. If 3 consecutive turns pass without reactivation, the ember exhausts and the technique must be reapplied all over again as if it was never used in the first place.

Ability: - The user can emit a colored flame from their hands. The fire has medical purposes, and as such the user of this Quirk has the benefits of the First Aid Enhancement from the Medical License tree for free. This quirk able to cauterize cuts/gashes, take care of basic injuries and also provide warmth to others. Fire color is chosen upon character creation. The user is also able to achieve S+ Stamina without any enhancements due to the quirk's natural healing abilities.
At B Rank control, if the user of this Quirk has the Battle Nurse Enhancement, while healing someone; their target gets a +2 stamina buff for 1 post after being healed. The user also unlocks super regeneration if they have the Super Surgeon Enhancement. On top of this, if the user has the Super Surgeon Enhancement, they also unlock 'Rebirth Of The Phoenix,' allowing the user to automatically self revive should they die, at the cost of a -3 letter grade debuff to Stamina and -1 letter grade debuff to all other stats for the remainder of the thread.
At A Rank Control, if the user of this Quirk has the Super Surgeon Enhancement, while using 'On The Cusp Of Death', they are only immobilized for 2 turns, but suffer a -1 stat grade debuff in Stamina for 2 posts after the immobility ends as if they went over the limit. The user also unlocks an advanced version of 'On The Cusp Of Death' called 'Flames Of Revival,' where, only once per thread, the user is able to revive and restore a PC that has been killed in the same thread back to full health. When 'Flames Of Revival' is used, the user suffers a -2 letter grade debuff to stamina for the remainder of the thread as well. 'Flames Of Revival' is a standard A rank technique (Costs TP equivalent to a tech of the user's rank) but still drains the user's entire Limit Pool, albeit only over the course of one post.
Limitations: - The fire holds nearly no offensive purposes, it is easily put out. The user suffers a -2 debuff to stamina vs. cold based techniques. When going over the limit, the user of this quirk suffers a -1 stat grade debuff in Stamina for 2 posts.
