Hanta sighed as he sat down in one of the chairs outside a small cafe. He had been studying quirks for most of the day and was burnt out. He pulled out a small notebook and pencil before setting the notebook onto the table and started to draw in it. Once he was finished he held up the picture revealing it to be the super suit he had wanted since he was little. "Now if only I had a giant spork which I could use as a weapon. That would be so much fun!" He squealed before laughing loudly. "Then all the vermin would die." He muttered with the same happy expression on his face, an expression similar to that of a little kid waiting to get his hands on the new coolest toy. He then put his notebook and pencil back into his pants before relaxing in his chair and watching as the cities people walked by and the cars drove past. He couldn't wait until he could join U.A, but first, he would have to get famous by imprisoning some baddies. Who would be today's target he wondered, thinking about all the different quirks and bad guys who roamed the streets. |

Things were going pretty well for Diego. His second school year had began in U.A, he finally picked the Hero Office he was going to be an intern at and he was in a good place. The worries that came from the Sports Festival had nearly all washed away and now he was focused on the good as oppose the worse. One thing he has come to realize is that he has barely used his time here to get a good luck at the country of Japan. He has mostly only been in Tatooin, actually, which was weird given how close Tokyo was. He just never had the time to actually travel around and see the beauty that is Japan. Which was why he decided to use the free day he had to... live. His first decision was to go to Tokyo and walk around, but he got a better idea from his sister. The girl admired Japan, she has visited a few times actually, which was shocking because neither he nor his parents knew of this. He didn't bother to question her though, she was a grown woman so it was not as if she had to tell them. Either way, she suggested for him to visit Kyoto. It was a three-hour train ride from Tokyo to there, which meant if he left early he could get there by noon and look around. A list was made from the suggestions of places he should go to, and he was quick to be sure he was prepared. The day after he woke up early and made his way to the station. Traveling on the train, he used the time he had to either sleep, listen to music, or watch videos on his phone. Once he made it to Kyoko, he didn't bother taking a moment to look around. The first place suggested was a small cafe in the city that she believed had some of the best tea and pastries she has ever had. Not sure if he believed her or not, the two did have different tastes and likes, so there was a strong chance he would not like what he gets. Nonetheless, he trusted his sister, which was why he followed the map on his phone and made it to the cafe within a couple of minutes. Passing the outside seating area, he spotted another young male about the same age as him chuckling to himself. Raising a brow, he wasn't sure how the people of Kyoko tended to act, but he had hope they all had their heads on strength. Entering inside, he received a warm feeling from being inside a place such as this. Heading towards the counter, he observed the menu and decided to go with a pastry and a drink. "Ugh, yes. Two of the Sata Andagi and a cup of Uji-Cha." The two bowed towards one another before he paid his meal and went to take a seat outside. "Man, this place is name. Feels different being here, I am so used to Tatooin. Speaking of which, I should check and see when our internships are supposed to begin. It's a bit of a relief to not have class right now." Speaking to himself, hee pulled out his phone and began to go through his school calendar. Keeping his eye out for his food, he was actually rather hungry. While this would not fill him up, it would do the job for the time being. "Hey, you know any cool places to go to around here?" Deciding to ask the gentleman that was laughing to himself earlier, he wanted to see what the locals thought about the place. |

Hanta's ears perked up as he heard the other man speak to him. He turned and looked at him strangely for a moment before it dawned upon him that this person was a tourist. "OH! You're a tourist! Well, I have quite the place for you then my dear fellow!" He said jumping out of his seat with excitement. "The name is Hanta Fuichi. I'm the best guide in the city if there is a nifty little area in this city I've seen it. So come one, come all! For the most spectacular tour in all of Kyoto!" He said smiling and turning his back to the man while stretching his hands out towards the sky. He then turned back to the man while grinning from ear to ear. "Here let's go now friend of friends. I'll take you to my favorite area in Kyoto." He said before marching off towards a street. He would stop after taking a few steps and turn back to the man with a smile before waiting for him to follow. If the man began to follow him Hanta would lead the man to a small building about five minutes away from the previous location. Once there Hanta would open the doors to reveal a spork museum. On one side there was the history of the fork, on the right side a history of the spoon, and in the middle was Hanta's favorite part, the history of the spork. Hanta would rush towards some of the sporks and look at them gleefully before waving towards the man so he could look at them too. They were essentially just ordinary metal sporks with some plastic ones in the display as well. |

When the idea of asking someone that was from here dawned on Diego, he didn't know what type of reaction he was going to get. His expectations were for the person to either ignore him completely, actually give him suggestions, or to tell him to fuck off. All of which were normal reactions from people he has come across in his lifetime and he didn't expect there to be any difference from the guy he was asking. At least,t hat was what he had believed. The reaction he got was one that... left him in a slight state of awe. For one, upon him asking, the waitress arrived at his table with his plate and drink. "Arigato! He greeted the woman once more before she bowed and made way back inside the cafe. Gazing over his meal, his stomach groaned in annoyance as his hunger longed for the food that was before him. While it was not much, there was something to be said about the taste being satisfying all on its own. Not that he would get a chance to savor his meal, the immediate response of the boy beside him startled him into a frozen state of shock. The boy was just so... enthusiastic. It was as if he was just waiting for someone to come and ask him something, which left Diego perplexed. Just what did he get himself into by asking this guy such a simple question? It did not take long for him to hop out his seat to give his... possibly planned speech. Is this guy a pro at this or something? Maybe this was his profession or occupation? I don't know, not much I could actually say or do at this point. His thoughts were all over the place at the moment, only to get snapped out of it when the boy began to tell Diego to follow. "Ugh... B-but... My f-f-food? Shit." Taking his drink, he was quick to down the delicious sweet tea as he didn't even have much time to take the fluid in. Grabbing the Sata Andagi, he bowed to the shop owners inside before heading over to follow the lad to wherever it was he was taking him. Eating his pastries along the way, he couldn't help to take a second to just enjoy what he was eating. It was light, but also savory. The sweetness was not something he was used to, but it was delicious none the less. By the time they made it to the museum, he would have already finished both treats. Entering through the doors of the museum, his immediate expectations was to see art, statues, maybe even some form of clay molded into a person. However, what he saw was... not something he could say he would ever be able to express to someone with a straight face. "I-it's a museum... about forks... spoons, and... sporks? Uhm... well, that's interesting... I didn't know Kyoto had a place such as this. Is it fairly recent?" Diego struggled to try and be serious while in this place. He just had no idea what he was getting himself into when it came to this place. Then there was the look on the boy's face... it was just all so WEIRD. |

Hanta looked up to the man while laughing before answering his question. "Well, it is kind of new. The owner made it after I beat up some villains for him. He knew I loved sporks so he went ahead and made this place for me." Hanta said enthusiastically before thinking for a moment with his head resting on his finger. He then moved his finger up into the air signaling he had an idea. "Idea! I love to get acquainted with everyone's quirks. Want to go spar for a bit?" He asked walking towards the door not really waiting for an answer. He would stop outside the building and wait for the other man to follow as he would take him to an abandoned area full of trash where they could spar. |

Calming down from the shock, Diego decided it was best to just go with everything instead of being awkward. He did ask to see some of the places of Kyoto, and this was one of them. Besides, it was not as if he actually knew much about the history of spoons, forks, and... sporks. He may very well learn something interesting at the very least, he only hoped that this guy's head didn't have too many screws loose. For the most part, he came off like a nice guy, so it was not as if Diego had to worry about him doing something ridiculous. Walking around, he gave the forks a look while reading up on their history. From what the boy told him, the place was made a while ago as a favor to him for saving the creator. A bit farfetched if you asked him, but it sounded like a nice way to pay someone back. However, it is weird to meet someone that cared this much about something that you could go out and buy rather easily. Hell, the only sporks he has come across was the plastic ones, so it was not as if there was a possible priceless golden spork made for kings to feast with. Never saw much use for sporks, they weren't as sharp as a fork, and they didn't hold as much as a spoon. The fact that it does both is interesting, but honestly... I rather just use one of the other two utensils. "Having a museum made just for you must be really interesting." Occasionally, Diego would look over his shoulder to make sure things were okay with the boy. He still had yet to call his name so he didn't really have anything to refer to him by. He was going to introduce himself and ask, but the boy interrupted to ask for a... spar? The suggestion came out of nowhere and Diego really didn't have a lot of time to respond either before the boy was out of the door. "I don't even think my quirk is made for sparring..." Muttering under his breath, he made his way out of the museum and followed the boy to an abandoned area. Searching the area, this looks like the sort of place you bring someone to jump, rob, kill, or all of the above. Diego definitely had his guard up and was prepared for anything at this point. His raised suspicion made it difficult for him to actually concentrate on anything other than making sure he was safe while being here. "Ugh, I don't think my quirk is the best for this sort of thing... Most of my techniques are made to inflict pain, the kind that pierces the skin. Besides, U.A isn't fond of its students using their quirks outside of the school... Neither are the police. You sure we won't get... arrested or worse?" |
