In His "Uniform" (Costume)



General Appearance: The most prominent thing about Marx is his size. While nothing inhuman, between height and sheer bulk he can be an intimidating presence. Should he not be on one of his self destructive benders, he stands tall and formal, save for a small bend towards the back. As for his face, it's like his body: Strong. Sharp cheeks, square jaw, and a piercing stare. His blond hair, is cut in a grew cut, with the remaining hair draped down the back of his neck.
Clothing: Marx's everyday clothing consists of pair of an olive green pair of cargo pants, and a pair of heavy duty pair of brown combat boots. For his upper body a simple sleeveless undershirt of variety of colors usually white, black, or grey. Over that he wears a olive green military jacket with a patch of the German flag displayed prominently on the shoulder. To top off his casual wear is a pair of American Ray-band Aviators. For a costume Marx made one to resemble pieces of German's' past. A pair of uniform pants, under a pair of high topped jackboots. He wears a custom modified version of the M43 Tunic, with added pockets and a heavy duty weave. The belt that holds the tunic, bares the Iron Cross of Germany, as do the shoulders of the uniform. He tops off his costume with peaked cap with the Iron Cross on the front of the band, with the German Imperial Eagle, seal of the Holy Roman Empire adorned above.
Personality:
ENTJ-The Commander

The most noticeable trait about Marx is that he commands an incredible presence. His size, loud, powerful, and incredibly strong willed, combined with a touch of charisma, and a strong ideological belief. This is essence who Marx is. The same traits combined with a touch of tactical brilliance makes him an effective commander of his men. More so Marx comes off as efficient, a bit self-confident, and more then plenty eccentric. That said, he is a man who also quite stubborn especially when it comes to his ideals and by the same coin he comes off as a bit intolerant to nearly all others way of thinking, often trying to make them understand his world view. He is also quite self confident, even in face of some one far stronger then himself. Marx, despite his eccentric personalty can be utterly ruthless and cold, willing to sacrifice any number of people to achieve his and his groups goal.

Marx, also suffers for a strong mental, and ideological need to be part of something bigger then himself, and for something to believe in. Yet, as he discovered it needs to be something, human, physical, and material. Since he discovered religion did not satisfy this need. With out the required belief, he enters a stage of self destructive behavior, such as not regard of his or any one else life, inability to focus, consent anger, and a lack of self. Each time he has broken down, it gets worse. The last time he was on the brink and was about to kill him self, had it not been for Vera to show up and fill his mind with a idealistic talk. That being said, since their meeting in the bar he has become entirely consumed with the idea of Solo Dawn being his only drive or goal in life, and effects all of his plans.

Solo Dawn is both a complex plan, and a ideology put together by Vera. While the plan in full is only known only to Marx and Vera, with only parts of it being told to those who need to know. The ideology is one that for Solo Dawn to succeed they hope to spread it far and wide. On the base level Solo Dawn is based around the fact that in the modern world of heroes and villains, states have become more inward focused due to the high danger of the criminals in their boarders. A such over the years the need for large standing militaries has declined, as funds are directed towards paying hero organizations. The crux of the belief is that soldiers have been thrown aside, and need to reorganize. It also serves the idea that those who are genetically strong thanks to powerful quirks, and Solo Dawn gives faith to those with weak quirks that they can be powerful with the right equipment and training. That is the basics of it, with those who follow such a belief each doing so for personal reasons.

The original (or real) idea behind Solo Dawn was hypothesized by Vera during her time at the Bundesnachrichtendienst. The fact that data, algorithms, and patterns show that because Quirks are passed genetically, those with strong quirks, will have children the same quirks. Right now many of those with the strongest quirks work as heroes. Vera believes that in only a few more generation the Hero era will runs it's course. Those who were gifted with powerful bloodlines will start to come together and interbreed for the sake of getting stronger quirks, and children. A process that has already started. Theses people would form powerful families, and due to the inherent unequalness of quirks, the strong will dominate the weak. Beyond the rapid rise of Eugenics, those powerful families that can produce resources form near nothing will eventually use it to dramatically cut down on production costs. Such a shift will cause massive damage and most likely collapse the worlds economic system. Around the same time, political systems unable to handle the power of the families would fail, be forcible overthrown by the families, or loses all legitimacy. Vera and some in the Bundesnachrichtendienst estimated that their grandchildren, or their children would end up living in a world that resembles more the feudal ages than the modern world, based on the strength of Quirks and Genetics over Religion and the current world order of states and governments would be nothing but a distant legend.

  • Despite his dislike for Heroes, he actually likes those students who are studying to become heroes, manly since he hopes to convert/teach them and avoid for fears of Solo Dawn from coming true.

  • After spending time both in Japan and around Akil, he actually likes a few of those cartoons the Japaneses likes. He favorite are the slice of life/comedy series (though he will take that too his grave, only a very few know)
  • Soldiers, in particular his own squad, to him: their dysfunctional but still family

  • People who insult/mess with/hinder/ or other wise interfere with his crew and their well being.
  • English Food, that stuffs nasty compared to wonder that is German Cuisine.

  • Clear blue skies: most bad things that happen, happen when their sin't a cloud in the sky. As such he sees a clear sky has a bad sign.

Despite never meeting her in person or interacting in any way, he both likes and dislikes the "Worlds Number 1 Hero". He admire and respects her strengths, as well as her commitment to an ideal and her near selfless nature form he was seen. That said, she stands for everything that is wrong with the world and why it needs Solo Dawn. Also the fact that she has become the poster child for the hero system. He recognizes for Solo Dawn to succeed, eventually she will need to fall. He never says her name, only referring to her as Fräulein

History:

History:
Marx was born Albrecht Kohn to a Helmut and Ilana Kohn in a small town outside of Hamburg, Germany. His father worked at a steel plant there, and family was just able to scrape by on his meager income. Albrecht could trace quite clearly his families blood line back to the height of the Holy Roman Empire, where they were know as the Seeckt. A von Seeckt sat on Bismark's inner council as he unified Germany. A von Seekt was responsible for what German victories their were in the East during WWI. The same von Seeckt would go on to modernize and standardize the military into the fighting war machine that nearly took over the world during WWII. His son would be an officer in the German army for most of the war. Though after the fall of what was supposed to be a thousand year empire. The family lost most of it's historical influence, but those men in the family continued to serve in the military of the Fatherland: Germany. Though, over the generation the name has been lost.

To him, this history and the history of service was a badge of pride. Even after his quirk manifested (the same of his fathers) he didn't see it as much more then a tool. When kids his age all the way through middle school played hero, he played soldier. Usually this meant if he was playing with other kids he was considered the villain. Not that it bothered him or anything, he had a destiny to be part of the great force that protected the Fatherland and it's people. To him they were the real heroes. speaking of school, he did about average. He did well in physical activities as by this time his large physic was becoming apparent. He also did well in engineering based classes and in history. Everything else he did relatively poorly. Though, this was probably since as soon as he was able be began to work, be it at the local garage, or part time at the steel mill.

While some of his friend applied for hero schools, he went to a technical high school, and on the day of his 17th birthday. Albrecht went down to the recruitment office and signed up for the Army. After basic training he was transferred 21st Panzer Brigade, part of the Bundeswehr; Specifically the Panzerpionierbataillon 130(130th Armored Engineer Battalion.) There he served with distinction for eight years, rising to the rank of Lt. Colonel. During that time he served in missions in Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Niger. He became very close with his men, being a very hands on commander spending as much time has he could working in the motor pool and on the military equipment. Sadly, every year the government would cut and downsize their remaining standing military forces, and it was the Panzerpionierbataillon 130 turn. It was to be integrated with another battalion, with a large number of soldiers of both groups being discharged. While Albrecht was not one of the aforementioned soldiers but after being overly problematic to the higher ups, he was discharged as well. Also with in a week his father passed, not long after his mother followed suit, and his baby sister ran off with some Russian bachelor and he has not heard from her since.

It's this point that Albrecht realized his need to believe in something greater. He started to fall into an spiral of self destructive behavior. As he wandered around Germany drinking, fighting, and taking the odd job (mostly the unsavory kind) in order to get money to drink and fight. It was also during this period of a year that in attempt to grasp something to save himself from his decaying mental state, his obsession with his families and German past and when he changed his name to Marx von Seeckt. Yet, luckily before he went to the point of no return, one of his old army buddies found him in a bar in some part of Bavaria. Apparent a good chunk of his former battalion had joined up Eastern European PMC, which was absorbed into a East Asian PMC, which operated mostly within the various Chinese seas. Marx's buddy sold him on the idea by telling him if he survived he could make enough money to retire on a beach somewhere, like the rest of his former battalion members were planning. Nothing to lose, Marx joined Asia Risk Solutions.

For the first two years things seemed good, while not raising through the "ranks" as he once did, it was enough to be able to believe in something, in this case his fellow security contractors. They did jobs across the globe, and had an extended tour working and protecting with a U.N group in Syria. It was actually there that he learned Japaneses, so as to communicate with his fellow contractors (and to impress a Japaneses analysis working with the U.N). Though, this peace in his life did not last long. During what was suppose to be a simple escort mission in Japan, the shit hit the fan. By the "end" of the mission half his team was the dead, and some heroes showed up and treating the surviving members as villains, incapacitating them so they could be arrested. Marx managed to escape, but wounded. By the time he came to his senses, and tried to check into his company, it had been shut down. With most of it's members arrested by Chinese forces, or vanished into the wind.

This pushed Marx over the edge, more so then the last time. To what seemed like the entire world his men were villains, but to him they were soldiers who were abandoned by the groups they were sworn to protect, and then treated like scum by the self proclaimed heroes of the world. So, to him if the world saw him and his men as villains, he would become one. Complete with a over the top costume. He failed to gain any traction, money or fame. He mostly spent the next year the same as the last time he had a self destructive spiral, drinking and fighting. This time, it was worse and before the end of a year he had found him self in a bar, with no money, no hope and no plan. He was in such a bad way, he had planned to end it all after he had finished his drink. Then as if it was fate, an ex-Bundesnachrichtendienst operative named Vera. She had a plan, idea, and a belief, and she had been looking for him. Without any thing else, and what she said resonated with him. He accepted the responsibility as both the face-man and leader. Together with Vera resources, they put together a small team of people who were either crazy or desperate to accept a mission with very little expectations of pay, at least for the start. People such as an ex-Serbian nationalist, A retired Delta force operator, and an ex-Italian police officer kick out of the force for taking bribes to help feed his family. Together Marx, Vera, and the 10 others formally, created the Stray Hounds PMC, so as to set the first stages of Solo Dawn

Combat: Despite being an able-bodied tactician and commander, Marx is the type to lead from the front-line, so to speak. In combat the Panzermensch prefers to overpower his opponents with firepower created via his quirk, or by getting in close to crush his opponents using his quirk to augment his strength and defense. Even with out his quirk, Marx is trained and is above average in handling firearms, and is trained in CQC. He normally always fights with back up of his team.

Description: Marx turns one of his arms mechanical. The hand open up and three 16 gauge barrels emerge. Upon creation Marx can chose between either standard 16 gauge shells or non-lethal anti-personnel rounds (read: Heavy duty beanbags) and each barrel upon creation has one. To "reload", The technique would have to be used again. Both the lethal and non-lethal rounds are highly effective at really close range, and against unarmored targets. Should the target be wearing suitable protective gear, the majority of the piercing damage would be mostly nullified save for discomfort.

Description: Marx turns one of his arms mechanical, inside the arm is technology and parts similar to a Heckler & Koch UMP. He can then put his pointer and middle fingers together, the tip of the pointer slides over to reveal the barrel of the gun. The arm fires 9x19mm Parabellum rounds with a "clip" size of 30 rounds. Due to the high speed and small caliber of the ammo, the range of the gun is only a few meters. The small caliber also means it has trouble piecing any sort of protective material.

Eisenarme (D): It's a D-Rank technique so only a +2 Power Buff.

Dreifach-Fasschrotflinte (D): This is slightly a bit much for a D-Rank technique. I'm going to say you'll have to choose between having the rounds do damage, or do kinetic knockback. Something like this would be more acceptable at C-Rank, but for now being able to do damage substantial damage and to considerably knock each other away from one another is a bit too complicated for a D-Rank.

Maschinenpistole (D): As long as you know that the multitude of 30 rounds will only have D-rank power then this technique is mostly fine. But it can't simply be 'reloaded' for half the cost, it has to be reused again like any other offensive technique for the same cost.
