General Appearance: Mocha is a thin, though toned young lady, with little to no bustline. Despite her height, she is capable of taking on a fairly imposing stance, like that of a giant, though she usually carries herself with slumped shoulders and a bored, uncaring gait.
| Clothing: Mocha is usually seen wearing a long, thick red scarf and a newsboy-like black cap with gold trim. She also tends to wear brown knee-length boots with golden buckles and 3 horizontal black straps. She wears a pair of brown baggy shorts with golden buckles on the cuffs to cinch them off at the end to hold tight against her thighs. Her coat is a black and red bellhop-like affair with gold trimming and buttons to boot.
| Personality: Mocha is an odd mixture of sorrow, depression, and determination. She holds fast to her word and her promises, and is usually willing to give everyone a second chance, but she also has an overly-experienced, jaded and oft cynical outlook on life, leading many to question why she bothers to put faith in people at all. She does little to hide her inner turmoil when she doesn't think anyone is looking, and it slips out in her body language or speech patterns at times, but she still pretends not to be in great emotional pain while speaking to people or while being watched, putting on a somewhat convincing fake smile and talking as cheerfully as she can manage. Due to this level of emotional strife, her judgment often becomes clouded, causing her to be overly stubborn or violent in her actions, and she can seem disturbingly cold and uncaring when confronting extremely heavy and dark issues like the death of loved ones.

History:
History: Though Mocha was technically born to American parents, she was left behind in a Japanese orphanage, causing her to grow up facing a lot of racism from real Japanese children. They would always make fun of her difference despite her having grown up alongside them all her life, and may as well have been Japanese, herself. They didn't care about that, though. During her time at the orphanage she began to resent them, eventually feeling completely isolated, until she was finally adopted at age 8. She was so excited to finally start life with a proper family that would love her, but it turned out that her new parents only wanted a child so that they could make her do every bit of housework. They didn't even try to put her in school, or give her decent clothing, and she would be beaten and abused by her 'father' any time she did something wrong, mouthed off, or he simply felt like it. When she was finally taken away from them months later, it wasn't even because they were clearly unfit to be parents; they just couldn't afford to feed her.
So they pawned her back off on the orphanage, and the teasing was worse than ever. The kids would tell her that it only made sense that she should be worked like a dog, and that nobody would ever love her. She knew it was a load of crap at first, but these things start to become real when they're always being said, day in and day out, and nothing ever happens to prove them wrong. Eventually, she was adopted again, at age 13, by a very kind American man that had moved to Japan. She thought that he would treat her well due to her parentage, since up until now, her entire life had been hell just because of race. But it turned out that the nice middle-aged man had adopted her, but had really wanted to make her his wife without having to get officially married, since that would have drawn a lot of negative attention. She ran away the first time he tried anything, and never looked back.
Mocha learned that day, and in her years following it on the streets, that there was nobody in the world that could really be completely trusted, and nobody did anything unless they got something out of it. That's when she decided to try and live her life the opposite of how she saw the world, choosing to put trust in people she knew didn't deserve it, and helping out even when she had nothing to gain. She started training, exercising, and learning swordplay by using a stick and a dummy made of trash bags and ruined rugs. She did everything she could to help out in the community, acting as a neighborhood watch of sorts, but always operating from the shadows to avoid attention. She didn't discover her quirk until she was 15, and she had fallen into such a deep depression that she just couldn't take it anymore.
She wanted to end her life, but she didn't have a knife. She tried praying for death, but when that didn't work she tried willing a knife into her hand, as if her imagination would be able to kill her. The shock shook her from her depression when she saw a deep purple dagger made of translucent energy appear in the palm of her hand. The feeling came back when she let it go, but it was being balanced out now, by a feeling of newfound hope and determination as she realized she had a quirk after all. She tried testing it out a few times before she discovered what it did, but when she learned she started using it very frequently, making herself go to her limits as often as she could to try and train herself to use her ability more effectively. Now, she's set her eyes on attending a Hero school in order to turn helping others into her career, despite her use of... unorthodox methods of bringing justice.

Combat, Stats & Earnings:
Combat: Mocha uses a mixture of street tactics and advanced level swordplay, creating a no-holds-barred style of sword fighting that is both relentless and brutal. She doesn't hold back while fighting, to her every fight is a fight to the death, which is why she usually does what she can to avoid having to fight, using stealth, speed, and her quirk to overcome enemies. Still, when it does hit the fan, she doesn't stop until the opponent admits defeat or is dead at her feet. Without a weapon in hand, she is still a skilled fighter, using palm strikes, elbows and knees as well as grappling maneuvers and joint locks to take people down. In either case, she isn't afraid to play dirty, and puts a large focus on staying mobile and acrobatic. Finally, she has a habit of absorbing the sorrow and despair from a baddy's victims and then inflicting that sorrow and despair back on the baddy.

| Name | Tier | Description | Sorrow Flow
| 3
| description Ability: The user of this quirk can absorb feelings of sadness, despair, sorrow, and depression from people store it in their bodies along with their own feelings, and then manifest these feelings of sadness, sorrow, depression, and despair into weapons. These weapons don't actually cause physical damage but make the person struck with them feel the sorrow made by said weapon. This sorrow can induce crying, breakdowns, flashbacks, depression, and in severe cases thoughts or compulsions of suicide.
Limitations: The weapons are ethereal in nature and do no physical damage. Weapons are based on free form techniques. The feelings can be overcome through an excess of another feeling (Joy, anger, fear, etc). Excessive storage leads to the user feeling depressed while excessive usage causes the user to hallucinate. When going over the limit, the user of this quirk suffers a -2 stat grade debuff in Stamina for 2 posts.

Pierce (D) T.P Cost: 5 Limit Cost: 10 Type: Offensive Range: Melee Stats:
| Description: Mocha takes a brief second to aim her strike before darting the tip of her blade out as quickly as she can in an attempt to puncture all the way through her target. Requires a bladed weapon or suitable substitute.
| Even the Odds (D) T.P Cost: 5 Limit Cost: 10 Type: Offensive Range: Melee, AoE 2 meters Stats:
| Description: Mocha takes a step forward before quickly pivoting on her forward foot, swinging wildly at anyone within range while stepping between targets and finally returning to her starting position. Can be used with bare hands as well as a blade.
| Emotional Overload (D) T.P Cost: 5 Limit Cost: 10 Type: Offensive Range: Melee Stats:
| Description: Mocha, upon striking a suitable target with one of her ethereal weapons, may choose to flood additional emotions into the target in one large wave, attempting to overwhelm them with an excess of one emotion, or simply a confusing mess of other negative emotions.
| Parry (D) T.P Cost: 5 Limit Cost: 10 Type: Defensive Range: Melee Stats:
| Description: Mocha steps to the outside of an attack, catching it with her own weapon and pushing the attack away. This requires precise timing, and generally leaves an opponent open to counter attack. This technique may be used bare-handed, but only against weapons with no sharp points or edges. When parrying ranged weapons, Mocha still must be within melee range, and the parry merely targets the weapon itself (ie; pushing a gun aside before it fires).
