General Appearance: A giant of a girl, Alake is the reason why U.A. doors are so huge. Her tremendous height and muscular figure already make for an intimidating combo, and combined with the volume of her mane-like hair she hardly breaths an aura of gentility. She does nothing to help these assumptions with her playful smirk and larger-than-life attitude, but in reality Alake wears her heart on her sleeve - a very large sleeve. Her skin is of a golden hue with copper stripes trailing around each side of her waist and up her back and while she does not have fur, her skin is covered in very fine, soft hair of which is very pleasing to touch - though I would advise you didn't without permission. Alake can deliver a very intense glare with her amber eyes and feline-like pupils, but when relaxed they can appear very welcoming, despite her menacing attributes. Though this is hardly taking into account her claw-like nails and the sharp canines in her toothy grin. Overall, she embraces her x-form and carries herself with confidence and pride, as to be expected of a King.
| Clothing: While she finds restrictive clothing irritating, she makes an exception for the uniform, though her tie is often loosened or "misplaced" and she tends to go without socks, preferring just to wear her ankle boots that allow her claws to slide out.
She tends to wear these boots more often than not and her hero costume is no exception. The design is rather simple and keeps from overheating her or inhibiting her movement with a high-neck crop top and shorts, both made from burgundy spandex - the shade echoing her "royalty". Around the neckline of her top are three rows of fire opals, again another reference to her brand as a King.
Her casual clothes tend to be handmade, as she learned to sew very early on due to her physique. Her style is an eclectic mixture of Afrikaan and Bohemian roots, examples such as long dresses, knit-throws, boots and hefty jewellery. She has a fierce obsession with clashing colours and somehow carries it with grace and confidence.

Like a firework, Alake is a colourful soul bursting with energy. She thrives under the spotlight and the attention of others often gives her a boost in her confident stride - whether it was a gawk at her physique or a compliment towards her clothing. Her pride in herself is constantly thrumming, like a major chord being strummed on a guitar and she loves every second. I wouldn't go as far as to say she was vain, but she certainly took her Quirk to heart, embodying the persona of a King in most aspects from a very early age, especially when it comes to nurturing and protecting others. Given her size and capabilities, it has always been natural for her to believe that she is one of the best and because of this, it is her duty to embrace her role as a natural-born leader to guide those around her down the right path and keep them from harm.
Despite this, she is hardly the gentle giant she wishes to be. Easily excitable and very playful-minded, Alake has a tough time trying to rein herself in, often forgetting many aren't as durable or strong as she is. It’s a rather silent struggle she goes through every day when she notices someone flinch as she stands or weakly hide a wince when she jokingly nudges them. But so as not to cause people worry or lose their faith in her as a strong individual, Alake will always tuck that gnawing ache away - out of sight, out of mind. Instead she apologises (for being herself) and makes a joke with that same old toothy grin.
But when she does lose herself to those feline-like tendencies, Alake can lose track of herself, becoming a potentially destructive force of nature during play, yet on the other end of scale, she will also grow drowsy and sluggish after bouts of energy. She can often be found relishing one of her many daily naps, usually in a sunny spot or by a radiator - although she’s also found that on top of something someone will later need is also very comfortable.
This humourous attitude is a byproduct of her curious nature and mischievous flare and while it can sometimes get out of hand, Alake will do her best to act responsibly should it get to that stage. She is a free-spirit however and turns her nose up against anything that limits a person’s dreams or their fun. She believes that while we are here on this Earth, we ought to have fun and enjoy our lives to the fullest, without of course disregarding the rights of those around us.
This is probably why Alake has embraced learning about her culture on her father’s side including dance, dress, music and craft. Eager to connect with him in anyway, she now practices the dances of her father’s tribe with passion and dedication.
All of these aspects to her multi-faceted, vibrant and strong persona never fails to leave imprints on the lives of those around her. Following her ambitions will undoubtedly take her down a path she has not yet travelled and will open her eyes to the wide world which she has thus far not truly been exposed to.

History:
History: Alake never knew her father, but the thought of him never once brought with it bitterness. According to her mother, he was the wildest and most exciting memory of her life; one night of dancing and passion beneath a sky filled with stars. Her mother often recounted the single day and night she had spent with Alake’s father like a magical dream, her only regret being that she never knew his name.
During her early twenties, Miyu, Alake’s mother, travelled across Europe and Africa for a few years. In the last month before she returned to Japan, she ventured to Kenya with the intent to learn about the culture of some of the tribal villages in the area. Alake’s father was a man of the Maasai tribe, one of the older warriors of the village Miyu was visiting and one of the hunters. Alake always remembered the look on her mother’s face when she described meeting her father after he had just returned from a hunt; it was not one of love but complete adoration and awe. He had strolled back into the village, still in his lion transformation with a younger boy riding on his back, their kill held in the boy’s grip. She was drawn to him instantly and when he returned to his human form, he greeted her with a beaming grin. Miyu and Alake’s father hit it off, despite only being able to communicate in broken English, but it didn’t deter them as he showed her around the village and the crafts they practiced, especially how their culture had changed since the growth of quirk users. That evening the tourists were fed by the village and while they were eating the villagers entertained them with traditional music and dancing, Alake’s father determined to woo Miyu. He succeeded and that evening invited her to stay the night with him. His free spirit was intoxicating and Miyu could hardly refuse, and what followed could only be recounted as the second best night of her life.
Miyu left the next day after bidding him farewell and returned to Japan a week later. Her parents welcomed her back into their humble home in Ōkura, a village in the Yamagata prefecture and she picked up a job as a chef in the small cafe her parents owned, using her enhanced sense of smell quirk and her knowledge of other cultures to create food with exciting twists. When she found out she was pregnant a month later, she was torn between fear and joy - the natural fear of a single mother in her mid twenties but also the joy of having a constant reminder of her night with her ‘Lion’. The night she gave birth was the best night of her life as she cradled this bundle of joy, her little lion cub and gave her an African name in tribute to her father, Alake meaning ‘one to be honoured’.
Miyu’s parents supported her through the early stages of motherhood and rejoiced in fussing over another child, especially when her quirk was revealed. Her hair grew to the length of her body in a single night, as did her claws, resulting in the girl running downstairs crying with her claws embedded in her teddy and few toys tangled in her messy mane. Her height came soon after as she shot up leaps and bounds in the space of two weeks before Alake was the same height as her petite grandmother. Due to this her grandmother decided to teach the youngster how to sew and soon enough the pair of them bonded over the craft, creating pieces her mother could only describe as the realisations of a child’s colouring book.
In school Alake thought of herself as a rather popular student, as mostly everyone was happy for her to play with them and would always share their snacks if she asked. She never quite realised that to them she was a beast with a craving for flesh, her increased size, sharp claws and canine teeth making her the perfect predator, someone they would rather remain on the best side of, if possible. But reality came crashing down on her one day when she was playing with a boy she was crushing on. It was a rather unfortunate mistake but to her it was monumental. Her claw snagged his sleeve and as he moved away, she clawed his arm. He cried out in pain and her world crashed down around him. He flinched away from her, tears in his eyes with something else she couldn’t quite place but as she looked around at her so-called friends, she saw that same something else and she slowly began to understand. They feared her.
Broken she ran home and despite her mother’s urges, refused to return to school. Miyu decided there and then that her daughter needed to be somewhere new to push past this and so gathered up all her savings and prepared to move to the Chikusei in the Ibaraki prefecture, close to Tatooin, thinking that perhaps living in the city would help her daughter find herself and find herself she did.
Alake blossomed living so close to the city and Miyu loved indulging her daughter on day trips into Tatooin to explore the busy and vibrant atmosphere. Alake re enrolled in school and repeated the year, now the oldest of her class and being so close to U.A., her school were more prepared to deal with quirks such as hers, providing her with mittens for her claws and a uniform she had no need to alter. This greatly improved her mentality and she soon began to truly accept her quirk, her self confidence and pride growing with every day. As did her interest in her father’s culture and roots which soon began to heavily influence her fashion sense, which well and truly made her stand out in the city.
Day by day news of hero work in Tatooin and Tokyo started to capture her imagination and her growing interest in her own capabilities. This coupled with her almost blissful innocence started to fuel her heroic aspirations and her attraction to the spotlight, while her mother encouraged her to embrace the usage of her quirk for positive outlet.
With these flourishing dreams, Alake is working hard with her studies and keeping on a watch on alternative U.A. enrolment having narrowly missed the heroics entrance exams.

Combat, Stats & Earnings:
Combat: Alake hasn't yet developed a fighting style, but relies heavily on her beast-like instincts, much like a brawler however if she can remove herself from a situation with a quick tongue, she's more than likely to take that route. What she hopes U.A. can teach her is a controlled method of fighting with the aim to protect and utilising her strength for self-defence.

| description Ability: -This quirk sees it's user take on the Physical characteristics of a Male Liger even if the quirks user is themselves female. The smallest know user of this quirk ever recorded was a staggering 7 foot tall and it is not uncommon for the possessor of this quirk to grow up to 8 or even 9 feet in height. They become intensely muscular with wild shaggy hair that grows at an accelerated rate and their skin turns a golden hue of tan (although ivory white skin is possible but in these cases hair will also be white) and may or may not have faint stripe patterns on their skin. They have sharper then normal teeth and long hard nails without exception. Some acquire even more cosmetic features resembling the largest and most powerful feline in existence. They have exceptional eyesight and a well developed sense of smell. They can use their strong tough nails as weapons or tools to climb with. They are exceptional swimmers and are usually fairly good natured despite their aggressive appearance.
In addition the user of this quirk can Reach B+ Ranks in Power and Stamina without needing enhancements to raise their natural cap.
Limitations: - The users of this quirk tend to be mellow and lazy in their outlook and are not usually very aggressive unless they feel their personal space is being invaded. Dogs and Cats alike give the user of this quirk a wide instinctual birth and may even cower in their presence unless they are used to the quirk's user. Due to the fact they have a very active metabolism and very sharp, Liger like, teeth their diet requires a large amount of meat and they have an odd craving for raw meat. They are very much build for explosive bursts of activity despite their sturdy and powerful frames so they tend to be active only in short intervals and then laze around procrastinating to recuperate their energy. If they go over the limit their natural lethargy sets in due to their lack of energy and they receive a -3 stat grade debuff to Stamina and Speed for 2 posts.
