Valiant Hero!? Or Driveling Coward!?
General Appearance: A frail-looking young woman, with a petite figure. Most of her pale white skin is covered with tracks that go across her skin and at times look like blood vessels and scars. Her brown hair usually rests around her shoulders, and curls slightly at the end. With a modest chest and muscular legs, she's not quite the definition of usual physical beauty. But her soft and cute face usually give her the appearance of someone a little bit younger than 21 despite the scars and damage that's worn on it.
Clothing: Farren usually wears her college uniform in public, a white blouse with a violet tie and a navy blue skirt that goes a few inches above the knees. Usually accompanied with knee high socks and simple dress shoes. But she also works for a construction company and lumber mill, where she wears blue overalls and ties her hair into a knot to keep it from getting caught.
Her eventually 'Execution' suit, will include a brown mask that covers her face and leaves little tracks that allow chains to roll across her face. Her hero suit will lack any true protection, and simply be loose clothing that doesn't get in the way of her chains. Though another alteration of her suit will have tracks along her body for her chains to move across.
Personality: Farren is a simple girl, wanting many of the simple desires of any other person. Success, money, fame, purpose, love, in that sense she is rather ordinary. But there exists a dangerous passion in her heart that drives her to do rather nefarious acts and seek to kill and strike down the heroic world, person by person, corrupt agent by corrupt agent. She views many heroes as simply using their quirks to get what they want in life, to falsify the image of perfection and to make people believe that help is always coming... when in reality it rarely does. And if it does, it never comes in the way that you want it to.
She is rather scornful and spiteful towards heroes and hates villains with just as much spite. Finding the common man and woman of the world to be the people she ought to emulate and aspire to be. Her views are that heroes need to be purged, culled, eviscerated from the pool of those honest and good and do their work not for money or for glory, but for the ideal that they know they can protect, save, and change the world for better. Not corrupt it with their sinful desires.
Her hatred from villains is the same as any others, finding their attempts at gaining things they don't deserve through heinous and unforgivable acts. She doesn't believe them to be redeemable, that once they've corrupted themselves with the taint of villainy that only their execution is enough to pay back for the sins they've committed. Some may see her as being too violent and harsh against these sort of people, but she believes that they're the food for corrupt villains. The source that causes so many vile and terrible people to shroud themselves in the cloak they call 'heroism'.
These usual traits only show in her persona as 'Gearlock', the part of her that actually ends up executing, chasing, and criticizing lavish heroes and terrible villains. Usually denoted by a deeper, darker inflexion of her voice. This persona is much more uncouth and wild, usually losing itself to wild bouts of violence when shredding foes apart and violently lashing out. The persona mostly came to effect from the trauma of having to one of her parents killed by a villain, and the other left to die by a hero that was too afraid and weak to save them. Thus she absolutely hates cowardice and weakness, especially when combined together in a single person.
She normally keeps these feelings hidden from most people, since she's sure she'll be seen as fanatical and probably have people looking for her when she went off 'hero' hunting. Usually, she just plays it off, telling people that heroes are overrated and that maybe they ought to be more virtuous.
She usually gives off a friendly first impression, trying to be on good terms with people as best she can before getting more energetic and humorous with other people. And she tries her best to preserve friendships that she can hold close to other people. She enjoys surrounding herself with many friends as possible and hates being alone for too long.
Though when she is alone, she loves to read American Comic books with old fashioned style superheroes. Often writing her own notes and thoughts about them, drawing parallels to heroes in real life and noting their pros and cons, wondering what made them heroes back in the era of their conception.
Her energetic nature usually has her chains running wild, meaning that sometimes she has to be careful around people when she's exercising. And she loves to burn off excess energy running, biking, and grinding on rails with the chains on her legs. Often doing her own style of parkour that involved her grinding and clinging to walls and rails using her chains.

History:
History: Farren was born to a modest family, a middle-class family that enjoyed the simple pleasures of life in Tatooin. Living so close by the prestigious U.A. Farren had aspirations to be a hero like every other child in the city, Constantly looking up to the many heroes that saved civilians, put down villains, and did other amazing feats that would be deemed impossible for normal people's standards. And so she trained herself, practicing her use of chains and carefully making sure she could move them along her body so that when she became old enough she would be able to go to U.A. herself and enjoy a life of heroism with enough training.
Of course, life never goes as expected. And in a world filled with mighty heroes, heinous villains always struck when least expected.
At the age of thirteen, Farren and her family were simply enjoying life in a small apartment. Watching television and the famous U.A. Sports Festival with baited breath to see the upcoming future heroes. It was at that time, that her building had been attacked by a villainous organization. Collapsing the building and sending rubble, flames, and smoke through the whole building. Farren and her family were trapped on a higher floor and were slowly becoming overwhelmed by the smog and flames.
Their family cried out for help, hoping, waiting, praying that someone or something might save them. A mircale, a vision, a hero, they plead through the smoke and flames as they shielded Farren from the worst of the damage. And their calls for help had only managed to invite trouble a villian immune to the toxic effects of the smoke and flames they were part of. Farrens' parents pleaded for help, offering money, favors, anything to get them out of the hellhole they were in. And yet they were only gifted with death, Farren's father burned alive to prevent him from crying out for help.
The mere sight had made Farren wail out like a ghost, her chains moving across her body as she tried to cut the villain that had attacked her. Only managing to graze them before preparing to burn her in a violent inferno. At this time a hero had crashed through the walls, escorting numerous civilians out of the blaze from higher floors and had began to combat the villain. Yet it was a losing fight, and the hero had been badly injured from the blaze and smoke, the villain had fled by the time, but with the damage sustained to the hero he had made the conscious decision to abandon Farren and her mother to the fire.
Anger and despair in equal measure called out to her as she chased after the hero. Cutting through falling debris as she called out for him to save her mother, chasing after her in hopes that he'd come back, because that's what heroes were supposed to do. That's what heroes were meant to do. They didn't run... they didn't hide... they were supposed to save people.
She lost consciousness through the chase, the smoke and smog making her lose all power in her body before she collapsed onto the burning building. She only awakened after she had been saved by a separeate hero and as she was recvovering in the hospital for burns and scars across her body and face. When she asked whether her mother was alive she was told that she had perished in the flames, enraged she demanded to know the hero that had abandoned them. Said hero was revered as a courageous and valiant hero, despite having run away from Farren's family, the man had gone and saved countless others. Boasting about the fight he had to stop the villian and speaking up about himself as if he were invincible.
In enraged her, to think he was basking in the glory of knowing he had left her mother to die. To think that he would cast her aside as just some number that wasn't part of the one he had survived. He wasn't a hero, that wasn't what heroism was about. She thought that it was just him... that maybe he was just a corrupted soul in the pool of great heroes. But ovetime she saw the pattern repeat itself, heroes more willing to boast about themselves than to mourn about those they couldn't save and think about how they could do better.
After being accepted into an adoptive family she continued her education, eventually avandoning her ideas of becoming a hero and slowly growing a persona of hatred and distain for traditional heroes. Eventually coming to the conclusion that she had to go about and prevent the world from being polluted by the toxic masses of heroes that were only in it for money, fame, and other sinful vices. For now, she simply goes to college and attempts to pursue an education in mechanical engineering... but her passion... lies in slicing and dicing away at the corrupted sheep of 'heroes'.
Combat, Stats & Earnings:
Combat: Farren's specialty lies in quick movements, grinding around an opponent using her chains to crunch through teh ground, on the walls, or on objects to move around her opponent and then striking when least expected. Each attack she makes moves her faster, gets her blood boiling, her chains revving, until she reaches maximum speed and unleashes a finishing 'Execution' to kill or severely injure an opponent. The best way to describe it would be a slow build up of power into a finale.
Most of her strikes, light or strong, are usually centered around her legs, and mostly uses her chains to slice off body parts or to decapitate with a high-speed chain around her shin. Alternatively, she sometimes grapples opponents before shredding them with chains across her body. And in rare occurrences, she uses her chain like a lasso or rope to restrain and possibly hold down opponents as the chain slowly grinds against their skin and possibly through their bone.
Farren's chains rev up to high speeds the longer she stays in combat. And her body efficiently keeps up with the increased speed.
When Farren uses offensive techniques consecutively of the same rank, she gains +1 Speed that stacks to a maximum of +3 Speed.
She only gains +1 Speed per post, so she has to 'Chain' attacks post after post to get the buff.
The buff is lost if the chain is broken or if she uses a Revving Chain Finisher.
A chain can be broken if Farren doesn't use an offensive technique or is restricted from using one. Or if she uses a technique of a different rank from the previous rank.
Revving Chain Finisher
2 EP
After getting enough speed through Revving Chain Attacks, Farren can deliver a powerful blow by focusing all the revving speed into one finishing blow.
When Farren uses a technique of a higher rank that her previous chain attack, the speed is transferred into a power buff for that one technique.
Hence if she has +2 Speed from Revving Chain Attacks at the moment of use, she would gain a +2 Power Buff for that technique.
Doing so ends the chain, and removes the speed buff given by Revving Chain Attacks.

description
Ability: Ability: - The user is born with tracks along their skin, from these tracks sharp steel chains can pop out and move along the tracks at varying speeds. The user can control how fast the chains move along their body and isolate it to specific parts of their body as well. The chain can be pulled off the body but must still be connected to the user's tracks in some way shape or form to complete the chain circuit.
Limitations: - While the user can vary the speed of the chains, it usually take a warm up period to get to max speed. If the chain is jammed then the user cannot move it across their body. While the chain can be pulled, it cannot be fired off or shot out as it is connected to the user's body. And if it ever is removed forcibly causes extreme pain to the user, resulting in a -1 Stamina Letter Grade Debuff.
Going over the limit causes a -2 stat debuff to the user's speed stat for 2 posts.
