Keelo's life had returned to its mundane nature for roughly a week or so, but it seems that along with her own influence to make it so, the universe has stacked the odds of something chaotic happening against her. This chaos came in the form of 4 thugs who came storming into the building that Keelo was cleaning. Keelo was alerted to their entrance not only by the rushed footsteps but also by the slamming of the door. If it was daytime, Keelo wouldn't have given it a second thought. The store being well past closing hours, Keelo gripped her crafted broom, [Graveyard Shift], and slowly walked towards the stairs, not wanting to take undue aggression unless whoever barged in here came in with actual harmful intent. They all came rushing up the stairs, lost at first, but as they all found Keelo, the 4 quirkless thugs came to the same conclusion. They found their ticket to safety. While they weren't a match for Levi, the woman who was in pursuit of them before they all broke in here, if they had a hostage, things would be different. With this plan silently formed, they all started to inch towards Keelo. To their misfortune, however, Keelo was a worse option than simply going up against Levi. She was not only slightly stronger, she also had the element of surprise to her advantage. In a few short moments, Keelo moved like a glowing blur, dispatching of the threats one by one. By the time the all fell, Keelo had barely used her quirk and stood over them with her arms crossed, looking slightly menacing with her annoyed look. With a sigh, Keelo sorted through her disgruntled thoughts. 'Damn, that was unexpected. They just started attackin' me, not even searching for the cash, why did they even come here?' |

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" An irritated voice said with some worry as the frost haired girl made her chase. "I can't believe I let them slip away for just a moment! But no worries when I catch them I'll send them into a frozen getaway." *cue flashback* This entire day of shenanigans started with Levi going to a sports shop to view some new MMA gear that just came into stock. Unfortunately the friendly princess frost wouldn't be able to go along with her plans. "Ooooooo! I like these black and iceberg blue shorts and gear." Levi said with delight after seeing a few things that caught her eye and attention. Many things can catch a girl's eye, but only certain objects, food, or people truly grasp their immediate attention. In this case what caught Levi's attention was a bunch of color combined MMA gear for practice; maybe even eventually some type of pro circuit, or tour to gain a little extra something. "I really need to get thes... What?!" Levi was abruptly interrupted via price tag after seeing that all good things were sadly expensive. This broke Levi's heart, but she knew that she would get these things one day sooner or later. Screams for help ensued the store just moments after Levi was bummed out from the price range on the tag, and her ears perked up from annoyance. "Okay... Who's trying to set me off today?!" Albeit the words were that of any normal person being annoyed much more than they were at the moment. Levi's words came out in a more... Feral manner so to speak nicely say least. Levi rushed straight over to the entrance of the store and guess what she saw: four thugs wearing masks who were trying to rob the counter clerk while threatening him with a slightly larger than average knife. "Give us your money old geezer!" the thugs ordered. "You guys make me sick." Levi stated as the clerk was just about to hand over the money, she stepped in once with her right foot to be right next to the left. Unknowingly the thugs didn't know what was coming. "One step closer and we'll ki-" "Who said I needed to move?" Levi interrupted them when they were about to do the unthinkable against the store clerk. They paid so much attention to their own egotistical selves that the frost approaching was never noticed. 'Chhnnnck!' the sound of ice bursting out from under the thugs, it was like the ice geyser, but instead to trap or hurt them it was made as a miniature kaboom to scare them. A warning before really using all of her power if you call it, but Levi just wanted to torture them all. The four goons were sent flying just a couple of feet, and they fled from Levi out of fear. "Damn you all! Get back here!" Levi shouted as she began chasing them. *end flashback* After a few minutes, the day was already approaching nightfall and these guys were just barely visible. The thugs forced their way into a building that was already closed for the day. Levi entered a minute after and simply walked her way towards the sound of the running steps; something unexpected occurred in the form of another individual being inside her as well, and lots of hitting sounds were heard before the groans and yelps of those thugs were silenced. "What the hell?" Levi thought as she walked towards that scene. When she arrived there was a janitor standing above the goons triumphantly. To which Levi was really pissed off about, and confronted the woman standing before her. "What the hell?! Those were my prey damn it!" Levi said pretty angrily at the woman. The young girl was ready to fight and take these guys back frozen solid if she really had to do it, "They're coming with me now." her time softened up at this moment, but still firm since she had a moment to cool off. Would things go the way Levi is hoping for? Even if they didn't she was already planning far ahead to take down the woman, if she so felt compelled to fight back. "Man... I hope my favorite black outfit doesn't get ruined." |

As Keelo heard the woman behind her complain with a sharp, tempered tone her back tensed up. She turned around slowly, her unintentional, antagonistic stance still present. As Levi continued on, Keelo became more and more unsure of Levi's real intentions. Getting lost in the moment, Keelo twirled the broom at her side with one hand in a few rotations, letting the bristles of the broom smack into the ground as she contemplated Levi's "offer". "Well.. I dunno. You call them prey, yell at me for taking out what I thought to be a threat n' all, and then you demand that I 'hand them over to you'? I usually don't get in other people's business and all, and even if these guys wanted to take me hostage, your little display tells me maybe things aren't all that black and white here?" She extrapolated, her disapproving look continuing even after her small speech. "Point is, until you prove to me you 'aint some shady punk goin' after other shady punks, I'm not gonna let you take another step closer." She declared, taking a sharp, long inhale before her chest stopped moving. She prepared herself for a fight. |

Swift action was taken by the woman's part who just so happened to actually get in Levi's way. Now it was certain that the resolve to fight was the main concern for the young lass, because simply put she didn't know how powerful this opponent would be. The woman standing before Levi as an obstacle twirled around the mop that she carried around. Almost indirectly saying that this lady was proficient in using that thing "Ummm, that could be a problem." she thought before the woman said what she did. Okay so it was true that Levi called those people she was chasing her prey, but that was simply due to an incident relating to Levi's favorite goodies shop being robbed by these guys. While she had been no less. Actually Levi just wanted some new MMA gear, but they ruined it for her and that just set her off. "Things aren't all that black and white you say?" Levi said with low and menacing tone. This, however, was not directed towards the janitor looking woman, but rather directed her gaze to those four men with cold intentions. Then something kind of just upset Levi further: being called a shady punk. If there's anything Levi dislikes, it's definitely being called shady despite trying to do some good. Levi had to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was a good guy... errrr girl to this woman. "Just prove that I'm on the good side? Easy enough." Levi stated to the woman. The young lass got into a fighting stance while getting onto tiptoe status, similar to those who use the split step in the sport of tennis. In the efforts to attempt predicting what the woman would do after taking that deep breath; in which Levi would likely see a faint white glow emitting from the adversary at hand. |

Keelo grew more unsure of Levi's intentions as she continued her slow descent into aggression towards her. Levi was either a really inexperienced hero/concerned citizen, or Keelo was right in her judgment about Levi's real intentions towards these men. She never expected to be defending thugs that, seconds ago, ambushed her, but she had came far enough in her mediocre career as a vigilante that it was time for her to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. 'This is supposed to prove your righteousness in the matter?' Keelo wondered to herself as Levi got in a defensive stance. 'Well, I ain't able to get her to explain her half of the story either way, so it's just gotta let it play out like this, I suppose.' With that, Keelo's resolve to fight was set, and she moved into action. Deciding to finally make use of her new broom's ability, Keelo whirled it around against the wall accompanying the stairs that Levi just climbed. She focused most, if not all of her equilibrium and center of balance towards the wide, bristled end of her broom before pulling it across the side of the wall towards her, launching her own body at Levi's. To start out, Keelo's leg was positioned as if it were going to hit her, but in reality, it was fairly easy to see it was going to miss, and Keelo would sail past her head instead. This misdirection was important as, if she was able to get her lower body past Levi, the length of her broom would be aimed right at Levi's neck with a Precise Strike (-5 LP) to which she aimed to knock Levi over with. 25 LP ==> 20 LP |

Levi knew in her heart that words aren't her best way of expressing the situation at hand, but it was obvious without being able to talk her way out of this there wouldn't be a way for Levi to get those people back. A fight would calm her nerves however, since being blinded by anger is bad enough as is presently. "Okay then, I need a quick fight to ease my emotions." Levi stated to the woman in front. Though by the time this was said the lady already made her assault on Levi, and using her broom at that. A white aura was visible on the bristles of the broom as the woman had it "sweeping" the wall. In reality sadly enough the entire assault didn't actually faze the young girl since Levi had been takes by her parents since entering childhood; that didn't mean Levi was unbeatable however. The action was swift enough to place Levi somewhat into an immediate, and premature reaction in order to attempt fending off the attack done by the opponent. Rash if your wish to call it that. Levi was caught off guard however, by the sudden zip of the woman by her head and more-so by the broom actually making contact with Levi's neck. The bright side was that the distraction caused Levi to turn her attention to the zipping janitor and the broom only hitting the side of the neck. While it didn't cause as much damage, it definitely threw the young girl's course off and some pain was felt from that strike. Furthermore, she was sent flying to the wall and crashed her back on it. "Gaahh!" Levi grunted. What the Janitor didn't realize was that Levi's hand was touching the floor and was now utilizing Cold Steps and caused a bunch of thick ice to begin surrounding the two individuals. At the same time assuming that the broom would be on the floor after usage, the ice would passively start consuming the broom and even the woman's feet. Making it much more difficult to move around as freely as she would like to. The attack that connected seemed to calm down Levi more than irritate her, almost like she needed that discipline. Though the lass wouldn't verbally admit it; Levi's breathing became much more steady and calm as white mist came out from the breathing. Signifying that the temperature was much cooler in this particular spot than outside this patch of ice. "Okay," the girl began as her voice was much more relaxed at this point. "I'm good now." Levi sprawled out on the floor not from the fatigue of earlier trying to catch these crooks. A huge sigh of relief came from the girl as she waved her hand in a symbolic manner. Almost that of one waving a white flag or handkerchiefs. "Can you make sure these goons don't wake up and leave? I would but... I'm beat." Levi asked the woman in front of her. The ice wasn't as thick as anyone would think it to be, rather it was just a frost coating on the broom and feet. Nothing too serious to worry about even if the woman were to forcefully take out her feet and broom. LP: 25/25 LP Used: 25-10= 15 LP After Regen: 15+(25×.2)= 20 |

20 LP + 20% (5 LP) ==> 25 LP While her attack wasn't as successful as she would have liked it to be, it was important to gauge how much Levi knew. Someone who was supposedly chasing down a group of grown men all on her own must have shown something powerful to get them running. This meant that Keelo's opponent Could be more powerful than her. With a possibility like that, her initial attack was a test, and Keelo was eased by the results, if only somewhat. She found herself skidding to a stop quicker than she expected, having flung herself across the room with a centrifugal force she wasn't even sure she could muster. Looking at the ground around her and the low-hanging cold front, Keelo figured out why. Her shoes were frozen to the floor along with the bristles of the graveyard shift. Keelo knew that she'd have to waste time breaking out of the ice to continue her assault, but as soon as she tried to think of a scheme to turn this to her advantage, she saw Levi's gesture. She wasn't sure what to make of it and her words at first. On one hand, if her request was a ruse, then it'd leave Keelo open for a few attacks before she could react to them, which, while justifying her suspicion about Levi, wouldn't help with the fact that she'd have to fight an opponent injured. On the other hand, if she was genuinely concerned with the escape of the strangers, then continuing the act would mean that Keelo was no better than what she was worried Levi might be. With this in mind, Keelo made up her mind. Still not breathing, She knelt down, untied her shoes, and slipped out onto the ice with socks. She didn't have any trouble balancing on ice with just her socks, however, for as long as she had her quirk up, her balance was impeccable. Walking over to the thugs and giving them a discerning eye, she looked over a Levi, holding onto the stair railing as she exhaled, the faint aura around her dissipating. "Yeah, they're out for a while. wasn't sure if what I used had worked, as it only knocks someone out for sure if they're already exhausted enough." She explained while holding onto the railing tightly, no longer looking as if her balance was as graceful as it was mere moments ago. "Look, I 'aint looking for the details on your life story or whatever, but as long as you're actually turning these guys into the police for something they did, then I've go no reason to fight you." She explained, unfortunately not looking as cool as she sounded as she wobbily shuffled to the broom to support her weight. "I only acted so defensive because, from my perspective, it was a little hard to see what reason you were chasin' them for. As long as you can uh, help me defrost this area before the owners get back, we can just both walk awar from this feeling slightly awkward, but even." |
