General Appearance: Maxwell appears very slight and lean for a male, especially when one considers his very outlandish clothing preferences. His body is lithe and wiry in terms of build, and he appears somewhat feminine in appearance (which a lot of women find 'pretty' and 'attractive'). Her has rather angular features, as well as slender fingers and limbs. His skin is pale, but has a healthy glow to it unless he is actually sick. His face always appears kindly and warm, and he rarely seen without that charming smile of his. People would never have guessed, because of his rather well-dressed and formal appearance, but he has two tattoos which hide underneath his elaborate outfits. He has one on his left pectoral, an anarchist symbol, and one on his left shoulderblade, a strange black tribal design. Otherwise, his skin shows no signs of scarring or imperfections, much to other peoples' dismay. His unusually long hair is always properly preened and kept plaited.
| Clothing: He look as if he has stepped out of the 17th century, and as such, isn't often attributed to belonging in this era. He dresses well; that much is obvious, and he is very particular about what he is seen wearing in public. He made the decision long ago to dress in such a way to separate himself from his family ties, and because he much prefers the era of chivalry to what has currently emerged. He typically wears a ruffled white shirt, over which he sports a fitted black waistcoat with golden buttons, and a long sea green jacket. As well as this, he wears a pair of fitted white trousers and black formal boots over which are a pair of white boot protectors. His ears are pierced, and he wears earrings of the same shade of his marvelous coat; often hanging. For more casual occasions (if there were such a thing for Maxwell), he wears much simpler dress shirts and suit trousers, with dress shoes.
| Personality: Certainly, on the surface Maxwell Smith appears to be very easy to figure out. When one delves deeper into his psyche, however, one will find that it is quite the opposite.
First and foremost, he is a showman. He loves capturing the attention, hearts and minds of those around him, and his naturally oozing charisma allows him to do just that. His winning smile and smooth, charming words are typically all it takes to have women falling over him and willing to do whatever he wishes. He is a very gifted speaker, which helps when he is standing up on his soap box making speeches about the corruption in their world; the conspiracy of Heroes and Villains that nobody is aware of aside from him. He is utterly convinced that he has seen through the veil of Heroism that is present around the world, and continued influx of Villains. If people listen to him long enough to him, he can always end up making at least a few people start questioning the life they know. Is everything an elaborate conspiracy made by the governments across the world to hide something bigger; a plot to keep populations controlled? The very idea seems utterly absurd and farfetched, but Maxwell's speaking abilities know no bounds at this point. He is very practised in this art, and works on it every day to further establish himself as a leader for an Anarchist Movement he is working to create.
He is a very creative soul, and loves spending time dabbling in the arts to relax himself after long days campaigning. Primarily, he adores the art of painting, sketching, writing, pottery... the list is rather long, and he always works to expand his repertoire, if only to say that he tried something at least once. He often applies this thought process to life; always eager to try new things and new experiences, if only because he wishes to say that he has done it. He also enjoys reading, and does so while on long journeys between countries for his campaigns, favouring romance novels, fantasy, medieval, historical fiction, and all else in between. While he is very creative, and an amazing gifted orator, logical pursuits certainly aren't his forte. Numbers and figures hurt his head just considering them, and it is part of why he never uses statistics in his speeches. His speaking abilities have to be able to move the masses instead of swaying them with specifics, which is both a blessing and a curse all at once. He is a person who very much lives in the moment; he is very passionate and intense, but always makes his decision based on whims and what he fancies doing at that point in time. While he is very committed to his cause for world-wide anarchy, this is the only thing he feels such a way about. Everything else, whatever it may be, he struggles to keep a handle on. Relationships? Permanent homes? A solid job? Forget about it. Anything which ties him to one thing for more than a fleeting moment is deemed an absolute no-go zone for this man.
He has been to a lot of places already in his relatively short life, and as such, has developed a rather rich understanding of other cultures. He has also developed a large amount of 'street smarts', and the ability to fumble his way through foreign languages. He is awful at speaking anything but English and Norwegian, but he is able to find very lovely looking ladies and speaking the language of love to find whatever it is he is seeking. People also don't seem to care that all of his impassioned speeches are delivered in English, because he can do enough with his body language and facial expressions, plus the tones of his voice to whip up the desired feelings he wishes to instill in people.
As one may be able to tell simply by watching how he conducts himself, Maxwell spent a good many years treading the floorboards of many a theatre. He has acted in a great number of plays in his home country of England, specifically in London, and been across the world in a huge number of travelling productions as well. This only adds to his literally oozing charisma, and ability in social situations. He is also an expert at picking up on subtle hints to see if people are being untruthful with him; very in tune with people and how they portray certain emotions. Lies are very easy to detect for him. He also manages to act in whatever way he wishes, in an utterly convincing manner, and can adopt many roles depending on his needs at that time.
It comes with the territory of both his appearance and typical mannerisms/ beliefs that his sexuality is wholly fluid; transitioning between preferences for each gender to suit his current agenda. He finds it easier to woo women, and does so in earnest, but he certainly isn't against winning a man over if it can get him what he wants. If he were to label himself, he would probably claim that he were Bisexual; attracted to both genders sexually. It is perhaps a little more complicated than that, and what he truly likes/ looks for in a partner remain hidden at all times. God forbid he gets involved with anybody beyond a casual affair.
He is also very notably ruthless, especially when it comes to his ambitions to incite anarchy wherever he ventures. He isn't afraid to tear apart friendships if it means he can advance in his goals, and has indeed very forcibly removed himself from his own family so that he can focus on said ideals. People, to him, are merely tools; cogs in a huge machine which is ploughing forward to a revolution in which he is the leader. As such, he feels no remorse in stepping on or over people who he is supposed to love, and doesn't allow himself to get bogged down in such things either.
A beautiful, highly sophisticated man with the ability to disassociate with people on a whim, all for a much higher cause. He certainly makes for an interesting individual...

History:
History:
Chapter I: Born to Mediocrity Maxwell was the first, and only child born to the relatively poor, working class Smith family in Croydon, a very poor area of London. His family home was an apartment in a huge high-rise complex, and poky even for a small family of three to live. His father was a British born and raised contractor, and a failing one at that; struggling to find work for his self-employed business. His mother was a Norwegian born waitress at the local worker's cafe, and was earning very low wages. They were in huge debt when their son was born, and often argued over money as he grew up. He never had much to his name; hand-me-down clothes from his many and numerous cousins, second-hand books and toys, and so on and so forth. He always found it unfair that his family had to be so poor, of all the others he knew from school that were wealthy.
This was the point at which the seed of rebellion was planted in him, and only grew as the years passed by...
Chapter II: A World Apart The differences in class even in his home city of London drove Maxwell crazy, and he was blown away by how unfair the world could be. Even in a realm of Heroes and Villains; previously only depicted in kids' story books, such things as class divides remained, and were amazingly vast. He grew up with this unfairness, and he was always treated differently for how low-born he was.
He learned from a young age how to get close to people, so they wouldn't view him as a threat, and he worked with his natural gifts with charisma and the arts to start slowly gaining renown in his borough. He was deemed a child prodigy with the arts, and was accepted into a special school further within London which nurtured children with such exceptional talents: an Arts school.
It was here that he studied from the age of eleven, and refined his abilities in art, acting and charisma. He amassed a huge following within his school, effectively destroying the previous barriers which had been inhibiting him from forming friendships. He proved that with the right amount of cunning, one could work around even huge divides in a very class-orientated society. Working hard to separate himself more and more from his family, whom he saw as pathetic, he formed an entirely different life for himself; only building upon the seed which had been planted in his formative years.
Chapter III: Man of the People Maxwell worked hard to create meaningful contacts while he was still at school, and he amassed a huge amount of acting contracts for when he graduated at age eighteen. With the huge pay packets that he was given for the roles, he moved out of his family home and moved instead into the very affluent, buzzing borough of Westminster. He spent a year acting every evening, and venturing out into the City of London proper to preach on a literal soap box; wearing his newly bought affluent clothing. Working on his image tirelessly, he was able to not only appeal to the working man when he spun narratives of class divides, but to the higher classes due to his looks and well-educated mannerisms. Having been working hard to perfect this balance of reaching everybody, spreading his message, he began to resonate with people; regardless of class.
His message was simple: why, in an era of Heroism and Villainy, was there still such a huge dividing line between the people of their countries? His explanation was this: their governments, across the world, deployed these figures of wonder and awe to distract from the real issues at hand, to further tighten their control over their respective country.
Drawing upon his amazing oratory skills, borne out of his years of acting experience and natural talent, he started amassing huge throngs of people to his soap box protests and speeches. Before long, he had moved from a soap box to a specialist stand; he used a microphone, he had signs and banners and a literal movement:
Anarchy For Freedom, better known plastered across London's streets as 'AFF'.
Chapter IV: Next, the World Maxwell grew weary of his acting career, and left aged twenty after two years of consistently raking in a good fortune. He turned his attention to the world, and began travelling using his huge fortunes. While doing as such, he was able to spread his message even further afield, and succeeded; even in foreign lands. To earn extra money he performed freelance in plays after auditioning under numerous different names, and sold his masterpieces for huge amounts of money. Soon, his name became very well-known and respected in numerous fields of artistry, specifically in painting and writing. His political allegorical tales started fetching for high prices, and his poetry lamenting a fake world were being discussed at large in poetry classes across the globe.
As he has for the past five years, he wanders wherever the need takes him and whichever country requires his guidance next; never staying for too long before moving on. The tattoos present on his body represent his undying dedication to his cause, represented with the anarchist symbol over his heart and an ancient tribal symbol representing freedom on his left shoulderblade. Symbolically, it really speaks volumes about his dedication to the cause, that it permeates through and through his being.

Combat, Stats & Earnings:
Combat: Flashy, in your face, and wholly irritating is a good way to describe Maxwell's fighting style. He isn't much of a physical fighter, and instead relies on his quirk to disorientate his opponents so he can move in without fear of being too roughed up. Needless to say, when one looks at him, he isn't the type to be able to take a lot of hits, so he tries to keep his battles short. That, and he is very careful which ones he picks. While certainly a militant anarchist, he relies more on his charismatic persona to move people into action on his behalf. However, when he is cornered, he will certainly use all of the cards in his hand to fight. Not one to fear about integrity in a fight situation, he will pull out any tricks to win as well.
