A seemingly impenetrable darkness loomed with a dank alley for within the intercity of Japan's capital, Tokyo's hoodlums more worried about their next fix or which gang was on which turf to bother with the soft cries of a dying soul. A bog of crimson drifted along the dirt cement, spiting outward like a snake spraying venom.

"Mercutio... I thought you loved. I thought you were different." she cried as what was left of her mechanical arm sparked , wires flailing wildly as she thoughtlessly attempted to maneuver an appendage that was no longer there. A soft chuckle rolled through the air at the pathetic attempts, a bare foot wrapped in smokey crimson crushing down on her immobile leg, crushing it.

"Love makes you blind, Sweet Lady. What is done, is done and you were just a stepping stone... maybe a bridge to cross." The voice rattled, the clanking of metal rhythmically pounding against something solid keeping his words in time. This man stood before the woman known as Ana, the man holding the name of Mercutio, her former lover, leader; the man that she thought of as her other half. The man she knew to be a Demon, but never knew just how demonic he was... until today.

The psychopath paced before her drumming a little beat with Ana's severed arm like a bat in his palm, the twisted metal appearing more as a weapon as a familiar crimson mist wrapped around it like a snake a began drifting into the air.

"How did you not know? Were you that stupid? Who could ever love you?" he said with spite, hatred and restraint mixed in his voice. His body appeared still, hard like steel with his eyes holding a sharp gaze as he snapped his fingers and the metal drifted toward Ana, twisting and molding into a fine point, a makeshift spear.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU WERE MY.."

"I am nothing, and soon you will be nothing too.. in a way, we will be together forever, nowhere and everywhere all at once. Goodnight... my love" the Demon said as his former teammates screams became gurgling gasps. The spear punctured passed the skin of her throat, into and passed her trachea. Mercutio's pale tones illuminated the darkness as his crimson soul brightened his gaze. The sounds of splitting bone sounded as Ana's head sank against it, the spear tip holding her in place as it pushed into the brick wall of the alley behind her. A bit of blood dripped from her lip that he promptly wiped away before his back turned on her and he strolled out of the alleyway fussing with the bangs of his hair.

The microphone around his neck flew to his hand and shifted, his fingers seemingly dialing as though it were a phone and he spoke aloud.

"Gavin, did you forget about dear ol' Mercutio? The demons of your past never truly go away, it's not like you exorcized me." he chuckled. "I believe you have something that belongs to me?" he cooed, a devilish grin crookedly twitching across his face.

Gavin awoke a bit earlier than usual as the sun was barely shining into his loft. He felt refreshed like every morning after going out for a crazy night of drinking and dancing. He felt bad for the poor saps that he passed his dehydration and this so called "poisoning effect" from his drink of choice off to. They mattered little in the grand scheme of things while he had a life of importance.

Of course the ability helped him considerably with the ladies that met him on the dance floor. He started pouring his morning tea and took a long draw of the bitter sweet water. Refreshing as expected since he imported it from the Queen's country. He poured a second cup and spun toward to his room down the long narrow hall way. It was getting rather dusty lately ever since the cleaning lady from the studio stopped showing up. What a bother.

As he was pushing the door open to his room his pocket gave him a ring. Maybe some fun from last night, but he didn't think he left anything in there. He decided to leave his sleeping maiden laying ever so lovely and placed the cups on the counter. Reaching in his robe's pocket he found his phone was ringing, but the interesting part was the name lighting up the screen. He was rather nervous actually considering it was close to a year of not hearing from the group. He looked around at the bus remembering the few times they shared here at Demous Regalis. Then the pain in chest lazily rolled upon him. Not all of them were pleasant.

He swiped the call to connect and listened to see if it was truly him who called today. McMaster.

The voice seemed like it was Mercutio, but it was confirmed with the mentioning of demons and devils. Ever the edgy lead guitar trope of a man. That is name I have not heard for a long time. Yea I got the bus whats it to you? Yea leave me, your mate, here to hold the fort and everyone dips out on me. Where the bloody hell are you lot?

"I was following a lead; a memory you gave back to me brought light to many things." he mused carelessly, his words barely escaping his lips as he walked under the afternoon sun, his mask bouncing at his hip.

"In the end, Ana made a grave error and I had to do away with her inner ramblings of 'love'." his words accenting love in such a way it came out as a burning, something easily felt without his expression being seen. "Her negligence and inability to perform became self-evident. She wasn't who I thought she was, or maybe it was just I who didn't know myself. This is what I have you to thank for; nevertheless, I digress from the real reasoning of the call." he continued, his words swift, but not rushed.

"I see you as valuable, an actual comrade in a world at war... you're hung-over aren't you? Nevermind, it doesn't matter." a slight tone of irritation crisping his words before relaxation took back over.

"I think we would best work as a band of two, people can come and go, but I see us as the ones who really can make waves in the world. Plus, I think we have the same idea of fun." he said, the familiar sound Mercutio drawing a toke from his smoke, the white roll dangling precariously from his lip, the sound buzzing in the phone.

"Plus, you can keep quite the beat." he gestured, a smile not only creeping across his face, but it was somehow audible.undefined

OOC= Italics is while on the phone he talks to his guest.

Well it seemed to say the least that the post pain transfer wacky fun loving Mercutio had died out. His over zealous word choice and accenting choice words gave Gavin some concern for the red headed guitarist. Without outright saying what he was saying Gavin hoped he was just taking it the wrong way.

Uhhh...ok. Hope I'll be seen as more valuable than her. She was a saucy head case though.

Arms wrapped around him behind and it was a little frightening. He would expect Ana's sick sense of humor do something of sort, especially after talking about her. However, this red head was quite different than Ana. More so now with whatever Mercutio has done with her. With her gone though it did erk him about the scar she left him. He was a brilliant physical specimen. Luckily the ladies though the long gash was aces. She grabbed her cup and with a tug on the robe she left back to the room giving a devious smile.

Whatever works for you. Some one else to liven this place up would be appreciated. No of course you liven up the place. Yes especially last night. Just hold on for a second. What did you have in mind?

Gavin strode back into the room sitting on his bed. Taking another draw of tea washed him with relaxation, and his lady friend's hands sliding up his back didn't hurt either.

A deep inhale resonated in the microphones receiver, Mercutio holding his breath for quite a bit as silence took over before his exhale broke it.

"Aye, I was thinking we could roam as we wish, do as we wish and play with whatever comes before us as we wander along. As well, I know you saw my memories when you banished the mental block in my mind. I have men I need to kill, I have a sister to find, the girl from the concert." he ranted in typical Regalis fashion. His words weren't monotone, but very plain and forthright in speech, much as the man was in the present day.

"Plus, I am sure there is something you want to do, other than the woman you are fucking in my bed... So, where is it parked; the bus not the bitch?" he said, a bit of malic biting in his words.

Mercutio paced slowly as he glared at the street rats and poverty stricken orphans lying in the street. Not to say his guard was down, but he didn't really keep any eyes trained around him as others would, not that he needed his eyes at all.

Someone is following me... cute. he thought to himself moments before that presence took a fast paced leap at him; the funny thing was, Crimson Darkness may not be on guard, but his soul always watched over him. With speeds that matched nearly the fastest human a wave of crimson engulfed the would-be assailant that surged from Mercutio's very form. The man fell into a sort of mummified stasis, his body held no movement, but his mouth rambled and cursed as the Crimson Demon passed on. A snap of his fingers echoed the hushed street as screams murmured in a roar as one, all signaled by the popping and cracking of bones.

Pfft.. normies. he laughed internally paying no mind to the gathering crowd as the body fell to the street in shambles, the crimson fog dissipating as Mercutio made his way out of the slums.

Her hands worked into the muscles of his back sending waves of zen through him. He had magically fingers, but they paled in comparison to this woman's touch. His robe rolled down his shoulders and in the mirror she gave the most devious smile. While Gavin was surprised he had to hop away as phone calls with this bloke didn't need anymore problems.

Walking through the bus he separated the two. Mercutio spoke of his prior plots before dissapearing yet again. Luckily he had met his sister and he could remember some of those people he had plans for from retreiving his mental loss. He wanted to meet...Blerg. I certainly remember those fantastic memories we created and shared together before being abandoned for some time. Well, I parked in west Tokyo near uhhh.

Gavin hadn't really looked around the parking area the bus was currently at. Peering through the windows he saw some take out places and a rather large park. Luckily he had been picking Japanese up pretty well these days so the park sign made sense.

Uhh Ha ni kakusa reta kōen (葉に隠された公園) it says? Does that pop up on gaagle maps for yea?

Hopefully he was far enough away that his lady friend and him could savor their fleeting moments together right and proper.

"Aye." he said before clicking his receiver, the mic transforming back into a gun that he promptly tucked into his waistband to conceal, just in case.

Tokyo seemed rather calm today, no smoke or shattered windows unlike most war-torn days around since Yuuei opened. Mercutio knew that a school of Heroes would only invite more Villains to test themselves. It was a rather sad fact, but the young man knew that both were needed in the world; in fact, they coincided. It was a marriage with no in between... other than Mercutio. He thought of himself as their child.

A young group of girls, soft faced but not tight laced walked and bubbled at the sight of the man. As he passed he heard words of his concert more than a year prior which surprised him and even brought a soft smirk to his face. Music still was quite the passion of his, but this bitterness in his heart has truly tainted his soul. Something that would only get better with time.

Mercutio had been a resident of the Tokyo area for around a three years or so ever since he left his Father in Seattle and the park he was heading was a spot he had played a few times. It was a quite place, seclude and not a bad spot to hide out... he knew Gavin was a good choice of companions, he had always felt that way about him though even after his memories returned, granted... if he were to fail him or make him lose the trail as Ana did.. who knows.

Mercutio wasn't heartless and he would be lying if he said he didn't miss her. It was truly his temper that ran away, his emotions polluting his judgment and that's truly how he lost his lover. Tears were being held back as he noticed a blotch of blood on his thumb from wiping the blood she had on her pretty face. He wanted to demonize her, he wanted to convince himself what he knew was false and yet he failed... and the whole in his heart was apparent, hopefully only to himself. This is why he even considered Gavin, it wasn't the bus; he missed his friends, but Lord knows he wouldn't speak of it.

The familiar green grass and lush trees brought more memories pouring back in, but he resisted upon seeing the bus. His walk took about an hour, his wandering thoughts causing him to take longer than it should have, but nonetheless he arrived. A soft face and casual smile approach the bus, the doors opening before him as his crimson fled in.

"Oh, Gavin... wakey wakey." he cooed awkwardly.

Gavin heard the bus door open and he knew Mercutio had returned. His lady was getting dressed already as she like everyone else besides Gavin had work. As he tried to rush along he pushed him back down.

Tenoh Haruka
I'll hold him off for a few seconds.

Gavin watched her move toward the door, but pause in front of the mirror. She pulled something out of her pocket and wrote on the mirror.

Call me. She wink and disappeared.

She turned the corner and saw the red head. Surprising as he seemed a bit young to hang out with Gavin. Unless he was a client of Gavins. Maybe later she'll ask about it, but she was late to work. Might want to give him a second deary, he had his hands uh busy for a bit. Don't rough him up too much for me.

She slid past and left the bus.

What a doll, ah she was aces!

Gavin scrambled after she left the room to grab some semblance of an outfit, green trunks and a purple v neck were close at hand. Inspecting himself in the mirror he messed his hair up some more for the sweet bed head style he could rock. The number distracted him some as the ladies never tended to ask for a call back. But he needed to return to the band leader waiting in their bus for him. He slide his berks on and strode into the living area of the bus with hand behind head rubbing his hair.

Theres the bloke, the man, the lead, the legend. Thought you were dead mate.

Gavin flopped to the couch and tossed a set of keys to Mercutio.

Here's your set. Don't lose them because I don't have the time or care to make you a new set. Where you been? Whats the plan?

A familiar crimson would catch the keys and take them slowly away to the ignition as Mercutio plopped down on the couch adjacent, his mist fetching his tea, a saucer and water. The crimson fixed it all into one as the water began to steam.

"Eh, up north a bit. Not a lot going on and currently no plan. I wanted to show Tokyo I was back, but I don't know... not sure who, what or where to hit. There seems to be a lot of bias attempt murders in Tokyo recently, we may want to go and check some of those out." he said, evading the question of where.

His cup came to his lips as he softly sipped his tea, hands-free. His Soul pushed his hair from his face and nonchalantly began to tidy the room.

"Have you heard of a garbage can, you fucking pig." he sassed, his words coming off harsh, but in a joking manner. It appeared that Mercutio had begun to ease back into himself, the thought of his former love still lingering in the back of his mind.

Nobody knew better than The Twins.

Since the sudden disappearance of their self-proclaimed arch nemesis, they had been frantically working to track him down. He had ruined so much for them, and they were in far too deep. They had lost their Hero licenses, but at this point, they no longer cared. All that mattered was taking revenge; revenge for their lost innocence, and their lost career. It was all his fault, and her fault, and they would see to them being brought to justice.

Between them, namely Hikari who was always the smarter and more technology-savvy twin, they had managed to track the pair to the Tokyo slums, after they had moved around all over Japan. It was why both azure-haired twins were here, of all places, staring at the bloodied mess of the red-headed cretin. Now that they had seen everything on offer in the world, they weren’t fazed by this sight staring back at them. Tsukiko sighed deeply and turned away, burying her hands deeper into the heavy winter coat she was wearing and beginning to walk away. “Well, it appears that your prize has been taken away from you.” She claimed flippantly, but her twin was still examining the remains. She frowned and turned to look at him, wondering what on earth he was doing. “Hikari, let’s go-…”

But he wasn’t budging. Instead, he was touching the blood with his remaining arm, his left sleeve hanging loose and swaying in the wind. It still creeped Tsukiko out the more she looked at it, and she still felt huge pangs of guilt that she couldn’t save his arm entirely from the bane of their existence. “This blood… it’s still fresh. And don’t you think it’s strange that we tracked him here, only to find her… without him?” He mused to himself, continuing to busy himself around the body, which was starting to creep his twin out. “No drug addict would have the strength to do this…” A penny seemed to drop in his head, and his face twisted with pure disgust. And this was supposed to be his lover, by all accounts? They were certainly seen together wherever they went. “With no remorse…” He shook his head and sighed deeply, straightening up and moving over to his twin’s side. She always had been the slower one of the two. He would have to spell it out for her, as he always had to. “He killed her. That’s my deduction, and it makes the most sense given the circumstances.” He claimed bluntly, and his sister’s face contorted in much the same way as he had.

“At least now we know that there isn’t any level he won’t sink to.” She muttered as they resumed their hunt. Hikari took point, following the small blood trail a short way, and then observing the environment to continue tracking their target. It was strange; their journey had first been one of duty, of Heroism, and it had sunk to the depths of behind-the-scenes undercover work, bent on getting the kill at the end.

Their work took them to a park, not far from the slums, where they spotted a very familiar bus on the other side. Tsukiko immediately took the lead as she stormed across the park, face set with thunder as she made a beeline for the bus on the other side. Hikari would otherwise stop his sister, tell her to show restraint, but after losing an arm to the people inside that bus, he had lost all patience he once had with them.

“Knock knock!” Tsukiko roared as she swung her arms up from her sides in a sweeping motion, a huge surge of void energy pushing underneath the bus and immediately flipping it. She certainly hadn’t been slacking in the time that their nemesis had gone AWOL, and she was fuelled with pure rage and anger at this point. And so, with the bus flying through the air, headed towards a nearby building, she pushed off from the ground and started to use her void to soar after them, her brother following close behind her.

“It’s time to pay up for what you’ve done, and stop hiding behind that so-called band of yours!” Hikari shouted, his body flickering angrily with bright white light. “Come out and face us!”

At least its in one piece! This would have been stripped down and a bunch of hobos living in it if it wasn't for me. I figured some decency and respect came my way.

A show offey punk still resided within him. He need some fan fare to his glorious quest and Gavin was all the pleased to watch the mad man run rampant. With the bus starting up he was interested in where today would lead and possibly who would die. Gavin didn't remember anyone really in the memories that they shared so as to who they would chase down was a mystery.

So who is the first chap to cut down?

As he waited for the bus to roll back and an Mercutio to answer Gavin he could have sworn he heard someone yelled outside the bus. He stood to look out the side window and see the ruckus. Two small people stood outside with crazy colored hair.

Aren't those the tossers at the concert ?

The one on the left dropped down and the bus shook violently. Next thing Gavin knew he was floating with the bus as it was lifted into the air. His body tensed up and a frightening feeling spread across him as the sound of metal impacting the ground with a great force shattered his hearing. Pans, garbage, plates, pillow, and anything you could think of was strewn around the bus. Luckily this was one tough mother of a ride so it didn't look caved in or and windows broken.

Gavin's head was ringing as tough as he was the bus was tougher and his body hitting it let know in spades. Some blood ran into his eye and he felt gash from something on his brow. His hearing was impaired quite a bit as well.

This better not leave a scar! And Im' pretty sure those are the same ones. You ok?

"I'm not okay..." he said, slightly dazed as he stood to his feet, his cup shattered to pieces and tea sloshed carelessly on his shirt, but his Soul kept his body from being tossed and thrown too much. Pulling it off, he growled with anger as a familiar crimson flurry would ripple outward from Mercutio.

"They made me spill my tea, someone has to die..." he cooed, slipping his Leather jacket along with his hoodie off and to the newly trashed floor. From under his shirt he drew his gun and tossed it to McMaster with the safety on.

" I hope you know how to use one of those, be careful, it kicks. *sigh* I just cleaned this place up and these bastard twins trash it faster than I could blink. I have had enough of these rejects." he snapped as the door to the bus creaked open. Mercutio would be seen pulling his mask over his eyes to cover his lips as he was revealed to the two failed Heroes

"I see you've missed me; cunt, whipping boy, neither of you appear to have changed. Probably won't be a fair fight in that case, so are you sure you really want to bother us? Wasn't society rejecting you enough? Don't you remember us framing you to look like the criminals, was THAT not enough to make you kill yourselves or are you that much of a fucking failed abortion?" he chortled, mocking them as per usual, though he seemed beyond his normal level of sass. Was it that he really wanted that tea or was it more to do with the people confronting him as Mercutio never treated women in such a manner; not even those he killed.

"Master, do you think we have time to play? I mean, we didn't talk much but I think our schedules open, no?" he laughed as if the obvious aggression and destruction of property didn't faze him. He saw a scratch in the paint on the buses bummer and his aura frenzied as he started peering back in their direction.

"You'll pay for that.. this was really expensive... " he cursed as his eyes darted back and forth pondering which life to take.

The cyan-haired pair watched as the bus rolled and slammed into the ground at least forty feet away from them, following Tsukiko’s very abrupt ‘welcome’. As it stopped moving, landing back on its wheels (remarkably), their nemesis stepped out and immediately started to try and rile them up. Because both were used to this by now, it didn’t visibly shake them at all. His words about them being failed abortions made the girl of the twins raise an eyebrow and shrug slightly, stepping forward a little more and cracking her knuckles loudly in a menacing manner.

“Wow, how creative.” She claimed in a deadpan tone, tilting her head to the side as her cyan eyes glinted darkly. What one might recognise as the famed ‘Yandere stare’ fixed itself upon Mercutio as a flicker of void energy rippled across her body, lighting up her form in violet briefly. “You’ve ruined what we had built of our lives… I think taking your life, and the life of your dumb band mate will be decent compensation.” She muttered, her voice managing to carry in spite of the distance between both parties. A soft breeze raked through the small clearing, little more than a back street in Tokyo by the park, and tugged at the empty sleeve that Hikari sported. A phantom pain started to shoot across his shoulder, remembering the searing pain of the day his arm had been ripped away from his body; courtesy of the man in front of them. “As if you hadn’t caused enough pain and strife, you took the life of your lover without mercy too. How must it feel? Knowing that you’ve completely gone off the rails?” The taunting was responded in kind, by the taller, male twin as he raised an eyebrow. Much how his sister’s body had flickered with void energy, his body flashed brightly with the light it was composed of.

Between them, they came to an unspoken agreement that the time for talking was through. Without a further word, or even indication that they were ready to attack, they pounced. Tsukiko sank low into her knees and a blast of void energy propelled from her feet, swiftly covering thirty feet out of the forty that separated the two sides. Hikari flickered and disappeared entirely, reappearing on top of the band’s precious bus. With a sweep of his one remaining arm, a sweeping beam of pure light hammered against the bus’s roof. It was made of tough material, but his white hot light certainly left its mark against the reinforced ceiling.

His twin, meanwhile, went for a frontal assault on their nemesis himself. Stepping on her void energy in mid-air following her leap, she opened her arms wide to either side of her body. Her palms glowed brightly, and from them both, six basketball-sized orbs of pure void energy were produced. Now filling the vacant space between her outstretched arms, she launched them by opening and closing her palms. Four of them hurtled with disturbing speed right for Mercutio, and the other two barrelled for the door to the bus, aiming to smash into their nemesis’s apprentice should he choose to exit the bus.

“Just try and stop us.” Tsukiko claimed darkly, coming down in front of Mercutio in a controlled fall and landing cat-like in a crouch. She’d immediately follow up by going in close to attack, keeping him busy the whole time. Meanwhile, Hikari had disappeared in a flash of light once more. They certainly weren’t holding back.

Maybe it was the knock on the noggin, but Gavin didn't remember these guys being so strong at the concert. Of course they had who he now knew as Takeru rampaging across the crowd as help. Maybe Mercutio had weakened on his hiatus or maybe the duo had gotten stronger on their hunt. All Gavin did know though was he couldn't do all that much at the moment. Without anything stocked up to transfer he wasn't able to fight and if they flipped a bus...what could they do to him. But the ace they had was that the two didn't know his quirk unless they had followed him closely.

He looked to Mercutio and a gun was flying at him at an alarming speed. It plopped in his hands like a cricket ball, but a bit heavier and missed shaped. He wasn't worried about missing it rather than it mis-firing into him. Luckily nothing happened this time. Gavin hadn't really handled guns so it was beyond foreign to him.

Oi, what am I suppose to do with this do hickey? He just pushed it into his pant waist snugly.

Their banter had started and they were tedious to hear. 3 little children screaming about their abysmal lives now before him. Gavin's life was pretty bangin in all honesty. His room might be a bit messy now...but they could always hire the maid again now that Mercutio was back.

Can't do much into I get some speed for my ultimate attack! You'll have to toss me!

Gavin prayed a little that he caught on to his over zealous speech otherwise he would probably be smashed and not helpful. He ran past Mercutio tapping his palm onto his back shoulder to plant his mark. Hopefully he would feel some sort of push to get him to their back line...or the air support since he was above.

[colo=orangered] Little kids shouldn't be out with their babysitter especially with that guy on the lose. You punks ready to take this? [/color]

Cocking his fist back he had a bit before reaching the kid in the back, but if the response was right he would get his part underway. He spun around and started charging back at the bus if the toss didn't come he would...probably just run into the bus.

Mercutio ignored the cross-examination the best he could, Ana wasn't a subject he wished to think over in detail at this time nor would it be wise of them to do so. McMaster seemed to usher himself in front of Mercutio without a second thought as the notably crippled Sun Bro leaped to the bus' roof as their attacks came on.

The Twins were smart and appeared far more organized than their last confrontation. They were timing their attacks with misdirection which was admirable, but not enough to save them. The Crimson Demons gift gave him a sight beyond the sight known by even the most evolved user of a mutation, it was something only thought to be held by Gods. While the living and heat could be felt above him, the complete absence of space was hurtling toward him at a faster rate than he could move unaccompanied.

In a split decision, he made his first move. A counter was best, but what brewed up in what little time he had was going to have to do. In order to remove the element of confusing misdirection, Mercutio knew one of them would have to die. The arrogant man wouldn't admit it, but he was no match for the girl despite all her downfalls. Grabbing McMaster, Mercutio spun as quickly as possible, sending a blast from his free-hand downward in order to propel himself airborne and away from Tsukiko's attacks. With his hand free once more he slipped past Master's shirt to snag his gun once again. The added speed and momentum would place him inside the safety of his Bus; however, McMaster was left headed for the rooftop to meet the Sunshine Daisy once again. Mercutio hoped it was for the last time.

Crimson flooded the room, the door sucking shut behind him as though the mist did it in subconscious defense. Mercutio looked to the roof and smirked.

Hard to dodge what you can't see, but my poor roof... he internally cooed, weighing the options once more as he took aim for the center point of Hikari, the point he learned of in his last encounter. Mercutio designed the bus as a fortress with no way to see inside besides actually being inside. The windshield was bullet-resistant glass and worked only one-way like an interrogation room while leaving all other windows out of the equation. Using the full power of his gun, he took a single shot whilst keeping Tsuki's position observed.

I hope Master gets his pretty suit bloodied from this. he laughed to himself, but feeling a bit faint as his internal energy levels took a hit, light coming now throw the small, bullet sized pinhole in the roof.
