Gale had been staring at his phone for the past ten minutes. His body leaned over the bed as he looked at his contact list, it took him awhile to actual gather the strength to pull himself partially out Shiori's bed as the low light made it difficult to tell if he had been sleeping for hours or minutes. But his circadian rhythm told him that it was time to wake up and confront the day.

He was only half clothed as his shirtless body was lightly illuminated by the pink nightlight, his face slightly more illuminated from the brightness of his screen. Scrolling through his small contact list his finger stopped as it landed on his father's phone number. His current phone plan would be charging a bit more for the international call but he had to call him and let him know that his stay in Japan might go a bit longer than expected.

He held the phone to his ear, hearing a few rings before his father picked up clearly disgruntled and annoyed from the call. "Why are you calling me while I'm at work?" It took a few seconds to register the time difference between Tokyo and London he had just assumed that they were going to be in the same timezone for some reason. "Hey dad I uh... I just came to tell you that I'm probably going to be in Japan for a little while longer than expected." His voice was in a hushed whisper looking back at the sleeping Shiori. He didn't want to wake her with her conversation after all.

"Why? Something happens to the plane or something?"

"No nothing like that..." He hesitated as he thought about how he was going to lay this down on his dad. "There's a... girl I think I might be staying with." He wasn't completely sure that he even would, but the last thing he wanted to do was up and leave after the events of last night... morning? He wasn't even sure about what had happened while he was there.

"...What are you talking about?" It seemed the message wasn't quite getting through to him completely.

"Look It's complicated, like two nights ago I got involved with this dumb psychotic killer and then I couldn't sleep and then one thing lead to another and we made a rocket fist and... and..." Trying to put all the events in a few words was only adding to the confusion as his father couldn't make heads or tails out of it.

"You're making no sense. Just tell me what happened."

"Alright alright... here's what happened" Over the next few minutes Gale spoke to his father about the intricate details of how he had gotten involved with a group of villains and saw how murders happened right in front of his face. Following that night how he had met Shiori, going back and forth with one another with their feelings until... certain events transpired at night.

The line was silent for a few seconds as his father began to put the pieces together. "Well I understand now why you'd need a few more days to get everything figured out. But we're going to chat about this later so don't go thinking that you can just stay over there and forget about us! Make sure that the girl is alright." He paused. "You... used protection right?"

"I... think so?"

"You better damn hope you did! Do you know how hard it is to raise a kid when you're that young!? Your mom and I-" He cut himself off seemingly realizing that his voice was getting too loud. Gale could hear his mother's voice in the background. "Look, just get this figured out and call me when you get the chance alright? We'll talk later." The call ended as he slumped over starting to feel some of the pressure of his actions.

He didn't regret the events that happened last night, he was blissfully aware of every small sensation that occurred in the sheets. But it seemed that he should've at least thought a bit more about it... human urges were sure powerful things.

He looked over at Shiori once more wondering how she felt about the whole thing. 'Hey Shiori...?" His voice was soft as he tried to wake her up from her sleep.

"Urgh..."
A muffled grunt was the first response Gale received for his efforts to rouse Shiori. The second, more forceful response, was the fact that she flung one of the pillows towards his head before turning over with her face into her own pillow like she was going to continue sleeping. Appearance were deceptive however. She was awake, of a sort at least, and dropped her arm over the side of the bed. She definitely seemed to not be a morning person from the way responded but with her beet red face turned into the pillow it was hard to tell that she was just having a moment to come to turns with everything that just happened. She grasped around on the ground next to the bed with her hand until it found what she had been looking for and her arm disappeared under the pink coloured covers dragging a rather essential part of her wardrobe with her. A certain lacy black part that is.

A few moments of struggling with the bed sheets later she cast them aside and sat herself up on the side of the bed. Her long blonde hair was hanging across her back in a dishevelled manner. A decided case of bed head plaguing her as she ran her left hand through her hair in a futile attempt to tame some of her wayward locks. She raised her cybernetic hand in front of her mouth to stifle a yawn in that calm but groggy manner that morning usually brought over people. All this time she had yet to face gale. In truth she was having a freak out about everything that happened in the sleep deprived euphoric blur that had been this morning and her body was just going through the motions of getting up by itself.

It had been terrifying, amazing, awkward, adorable and so many more contradicting things all at once. There were questions forming in the back of her mind to, most of them along similar lines as the ones gale was asking himself. What now and what does this mean being the biggest dilemmas to face. But there were other thought racing through her mind too. She felt around for her phone on the bedside table, the twilight gloom cast in pink hues by the nightlight making it a little hard to find as she typed up a message. It was short and to the point and maybe even a bit emotionally distant in the way it was delivered. She held up her phone over her shoulder towards Gale, not even turning to face him. The screen lit up as a much brighter source of light then the pink coloured lamp did.

She felt sweaty and awkward and many more things she couldn't place. She felt good too, a weird sort of lingering sense of euphoria taking the edge of a much darker voice screaming in the back of her mind that she wanted, needed to scrub and clean herself. As hard as she could. Her mind was telling her two very conflicting things. The irrational part was telling her sensations her body felt were horrifying and she felt defiled and unclean. While her conscious mind felt dulled by a happy uplifting and sort of floating feeling that she really tried to focus on right now.

She got up and walked towards the stairs leading out of the projector room, giving gale the tantalising view of the rather minimalist clad cyborg's back walking away from him. She was still slightly dazed and it didn't dawn on her how insensitive this must all feel towards Gale until she had already put her foot down on the top of the stairs. She turned around towards him and when she looked at him for the first time since waking up her cheeks shot back into that reddened state that now seemed to come default from just their eyes meeting.

"I..."

She stopped after stumbling out just that word. Hastily covering her mouth with her cybernetic hand as a shocked expression momentarily overtook her face. She typed a single character into her phone and held it up as she looked at him with a guilty sort of apologetic look in her eyes as she tapped the Heart shaped emoji on the screen.

Warning - Possibly NSFW Image - Warning

Turning, if possible an even bright shade of crimson, she turned around rather abruptly. She very nearly ran down the stairs and the last thing he saw of her was her long blonde locks of hair dancing through the air behind her as she disappeared down the stairs, followed by the muffled sound of a door shutting behind her.

The pillow smacked softly against Gale's face. He turned to see Shiori turning away from him, presumably to keep sleeping. He sighed as he wanted to try and rouse her up once again, he wanted to talk about what happened even if it was an uncomfortable subject. Her hand patted around the floor for something and when his eyes glanced at the undergarments he turned away quickly as he didn't realize that she was still undressed.

He still had worries in his head, everything seemed to go so fast last night. How did you even start a conversation like this? Did you try and play it off cool? Talk about how amazing it was? His heart was still beating as he recalled the experience. He was still grinning as a little bit of pride welled up in him. As awkward and fast as the experience had been he still felt rather happy about it all. Did she feel the same?

Noticing that a bright light was casting a larger shadow behind him he turned to see that Shiori was holding the phone up to him. Figures, it wasn't like one night would fix everything so the fact she was still using her phone didn't surprise him. Though his cheeky grin seemed to dim once as he read the message. Maybe it was because she was groggy, or maybe she was feeling unpleased with him for one reason or another.

"I- er... okay. I probably should take one as well..." The room had a heavy sweaty smell and he figured that he ought to clean up himself too. He looked expectantly, hoping that she was going to write down a few more lines talking about the situation but she simply stood up and walked towards the stairs. He found himself staring at her figure as she walked back, she was just pudgy enough that it was just another cute feature of her body. When she turned around and spoke he realized that he must've looked like a pervert watching her around like that. Though his still kept his eyes locked on her as she covered her mouth and typed out something onto her phone. He was somehow surprised that his eyes didn't wander away from her face and down towards her uncovered breasts...

Seeing the heartful wink emoji on her phone before she hurried back down the stairs only seemed to confuse the young man even more. An emoji like that could be interpreted in so many ways... did he perform well? Did she like him? Was it meant as some sort of flirting remark? What... what the hell did it mean!?

He slumped back onto the bed as he searched around for his shirt. "Things are so crazy..." he mumbled as he managed to drag himself and his clothes out of the room. Still a lot of unanswered questions and unresolved feelings but for now he'd just have to take care fo some other business he had in town while he was around.

Shiori apparently only had one shower inside the fortress of a theatre, forcing Gale to use a rather unsanitary and open shower that was outside. It was cold, the water pressure always seemed to change from dripping low to spraying him like he was some kind of animal. Though in the end, it did the job of cleaning him off and leaving him feeling somewhat refreshed.

Putting on his clothes he checked his phone for directions, one small thing that he hadn't told his father when he went off was that he had some plans to find himself a sponsor. He had managed to make some money on his own but getting admitence into U.A. would be difficult without some figure of power or influence to back him up. He had a few ideas as to who he ought to go try and convince to sponsor him. The most notable were the HIGH hero agency in Tatooin but they were more or less of the last resort. The plan was to get a sponsor, get admittance, and then surprise his family with the surprise but that plan had gone out the window partially.

Shiori had cleaned herself up and met him outside the theater, despite everything it was actually not morning but a bit early into the evening. "I've got some errands to run real quick. I had come here to Japan for two reasons really, the first was to see some technology at a... shady convention." He paused already hating the fact that he had to speak of that event already more than he had to. "The second was that I was looking to get a sponsor to get into U.A. and surprise my parents with good news if I could get in. I've got a big of a streak creating some interesting things and a business going so I was thinking that might help me out but..." honestly he didn't know how this hadn't occurred to him earlier when he was planning this whole trip. "It's going to be hard to talk to people if I don't know the language that well... and speaking through a translator can lead to... interesting problems. So if you could... I'd appreciate it if you kind of just translated some stuff for me? I hope it's not too much to ask but... I really want to surprise my family back at home and I don't want to screw this up." He looked pleadingly at Shiori, granted since she spoke mainly through a phone it wouldn't be much better but it would be more understandable. "You don't have to talk of course. Like just writing it out is good enough for me." He pulled up a map on his phone. "The first place I wanted to head out to was a bank owned by Raika Industries. They've got a thing for engineering so I think if I show them some of my previous work that convinces them to sponsor me in."

The glimmer in his eyes reflected the genuine excitement and enthusiasm he had for the trip. He knew that it was a rather quick thing to ask but she was probably his best bet to be able to actually get in. Plus... he didn't really want to just leave her alone after all that, maybe there would be a chance that a few words would be swapped between them as they walked along and things would slowly get less awkward between the two of them.

Despite the fact that she had left her clothes where they had landed the night before, scattered across the floor of the projector room, when she had left to take her shower. It seemed that Shiori had either managed to collect them without Gale's notice or she possessed multiple iterations of the same black shirt and Khaki shorts that she had been wearing the night before because that was exactly what she was wearing right now as she walked along with him outside of the theatre. She wasn't really sure where they were going or why she was going along yet but before she had a chance to ask it seemed that Gale had decided to make up for the lack of talking of the previous night by launching into an explanation of his plans from here on out.

There were a whole lot of things they should talk about, things she wanted to talk about but she had no idea where to even begin. Gale on the other hand seemed to have decided to start at the beginning. As he explained the reasons for why he had come to Japan she raised an eyebrow. Attending shady tech conventions seemed like a really bad reason to cross half the world to her. She was already typing up a response to say just that on her phone when he continued on talking after a brief pause that did not leave her enough time to form a full retort.

As the deluge of words continued she frowned and held her thumb down on the virtual keyboards backspace button to start on a second message. Before she was done though, it had already become obsolete and she took advantage of the pause he took after explaining his intentions to get money from some place called 'Raika Industries' to put her hand over his mouth and show him the short message on her screen that accompanied the slightly annoyed look she was giving him.

She looked at him sternly but didn't remove her hand from his mouth just quite yet. She took a deep sigh and gave him a slightly friendlier look as she took the time to write a second message out for him and show him the question that seemed to be the most logical one to ask first.

She gave him another look to make sure he got the message about slowing down before she slowly removed her hand from his mouth. She was giving him an inquisitive look, wondering why someone who seemed so smart was doing such dumb things like getting involved with big corporations and shady business deals to begin with. She had left the question about translating for him hang in the air unanswered for the moment...

Gale froze as Shiori put her hand to his mouth. Some parts of him would likely never change, and his big mouth and extensive use of words would likely be one of those things that stayed with him He seemed slightly guilty as he realized that he was likely overwhelming her with the flow of words. "Sorry." He said plainly. How did she manage to get through life using that phone to speak with everyone? Maybe conversations were short and to the point?

Listening to her tap on her phone he felt somewhat anxious about what it was she wanted to say. When she finally did show him the new message he had to wait a few seconds and re-read it a few times to make sure he understood it. It wasn't the message that was making him pause but rather him formulating how he should respond. Best to keep it straight and to the point right? Though this was something that he was passionate about to some extent. He'd just have to find the right time to actually go into depth.

"Short answer is simple, I'm not really interested in getting into a heroics class." That answer probably confused Shiori, why bother applying to U.A. if you weren't interested in trying to get into their Heroics class after all? It was what they were famed for. "Let me explain though, I know that based on how you do in the exams that you could get placed in a whole lot of different classes. I'd rather focus on my general studies of technology and things like that right now than worrying about how to be a hero."

He crossed his arms and tilted his head as if trying to read a thought cloud that had formed over his head. "I just kind of think that everyone's way too focused on being a hero and stuff like that. If I got put into a heroics class they'd know me as 'Gale the Hero' not 'Gale the Technician' you get what I'm saying? I mean I could've just gone to some other University for that kind of thing but U.A's got some resources that you wouldn't belive... or so I've read."

He still felt that he wanted to put more into his answer but he didn't want to overwhelm her. Besides he could elaborate more on the topic later when the time was right.

"So summed up, it's a technicians dream but I don't want to have to deal with all the heroics stuff. At least... not yet."Thinking about it now he felt somewhat childish. His earlier motivations actually had him wanting to try the Entrance Exams, after all, what better way to get popular than by scoring high on the exams? Part of him still desired that kind of attention but he was realistic to know he'd be better off trying to impress people with the things he could make in a workshop than using in a practical exam.

The trip to the bank wasn't necessarily long but all the silence between them despite the crowds still felt awkward and unsettling. He always felt like he ought to say something, though he really didn't know what. After all they really only spent a few hours with one another... what were the boundaries?

Luckily coming across the large towering bank gave his mind something else to think about. How he would go about convincing the people inside to give him a nice sponsorship into U.A. he had a game plan set up of course, explaining his business, his track record of good grades in school, so on so forth. Of course the issue of translation might be overlooked, after all they were a bank. Surely someone in there would be able to speak English or they could direct him to someone who did.

"Wish me luck." He said to Shiori as he entered the Raika Industries Bank.

“I certainly thought that would never end, Mademoiselle Sagiri, I shall never understand how you can sit through those meetings without getting restless.”

The pinkette teen feel back in his black leather chair, looking over the long conference table from his place at its head. He was sighing to himself, finally getting a chance to relax after sitting through several droning presentations about his father’s company business. His hand went to his neck, going to loosen up his pink colored tie. Rosiahn wore a light grey colored suit, a white undershirt with its collar sticking slightly up. He wore formal business attire since the day was a business attire type of day. His father, had essentially forced it upon his son to oversee the matters of the bank and business since he was returning to France to visit his mother. It was such the coincidence that Rosiahn, now old enough and apparently responsible enough, should take his father’s place at the company. Of course, the pinkette couldn’t say no. Furthermore, considering the disaster that was his first day in Japan, Rosiahn realized that his father’s decision to tie him up in the family business was more of punishment, a prison sentence to keep the teen from escaping yet again.

And he certainly couldn’t as easily escape from an over packed schedule and the watchful eyes of his father’s own secretary, Mina Sagiri. She stood beside the pinkette teen, tablet in hand, her golden brown eyes skimming over data and dates on the screen at a rapid pace. Her blue hair was cut short, professional, and she wore a blue gray suit dress to match. Mina looked over Rosiahn, and while the woman preferred to keep affairs strictly professional, her golden brown eyes still held a rather soft tone. A smile escaped unto the older woman’s lips. “At least, you put on a very good impression that you were interested the entire time.”

Mina Sagiri

Rosiahn’s clear blue eyes blinked several times at the secretary’s teasing, shaking his head with an sincere smile back. “Well… I honestly was.” Though, it honestly wouldn’t matter if he was telling the truth, both of them fully realized the true reason as to why Rosiahn was in the building even in the first place. And both weren’t overly fond of the man who so arranged his own son’s temporary imprisonment. Sighing again, Rosiahn reached into his pocket, pulling out a small 3 X 3 cube, something quite familiar to the eyes, though just modified enough to give it a worth of few extra glances. One each face of the cube, was a differing color, split into a grid of 3 x 3 colored squares. The colors themselves, a navy blue, light pink, yellow, orange, green, and white, lining each separate cube was a metallic silver. His eyes changed color, coming to an electrifying light pink. Upon his fingers tip, a current of electricity danced atop his skin, making its way to the cube in his hands. Once the current reached the cube, it appeared to near come to life, pink electricity lighting the metal up, even making the cube levitate in his hands, all the while changing and rearranging itself like magic, until the puzzle seemed just a mixed up, unsolvable mess that the Rubik’s Cube often was mistaken for. Within the next few moments however, Rosiahn kept his concentration on the cube, turn by turn, face by face, the cube seemed to solve itself and once again returned to its correct state of six distinct colors on each side.

Mina’s own golden brown eyes looked up from her tablet, gazing on to the un-solving and re-solving of the puzzle by the pinkette teen. The sectary then turned to the window, looking out onto the blue sky and across the other skyscrapers of the Tokyo Metropolis. The only sounds between the two being that of the crackling electricity and sounds of the cube’s faces turning.

“Raika-san, you don’t have another meeting until much later in the afternoon. Much of what is left, is mostly secretarial in nature, affairs I can handle myself….”

The pinkette teen stopped with the puzzle, holding the cube close to his chest. Of course, he hadn’t ever said aloud his desires to be free of such stuffy business affairs, but it seemed that Mina was able to read the pinkette very clearly. He couldn’t help but feel a little guilty, knowing that if he was caught sneaking off again the punishments would be even more severe, not to mention the repercussions upon the secretary herself. But at the same time, he couldn’t help but also feel so excited! Here was someone practically inviting him to go off and do whatever he wanted!

Rosiahn jumped up from his seat, his long legs taking him to the door of the room about as quick as lightning. Without waiting for Mina to even finish her words, Rosiahn let out a laugh and gave a wave of his hand. “Merci! Mademoiselle Sagiri! I will surely be back in time for that meeting!” And with that, the pinkette simply ran down the hallway, happily relieved to be free of his professional duties.

“I… didn’t even tell him the meeting time.” Muttering under her breathe the secretary immediately felt like she was going to regret her decision, but in the end she let her shoulder shrug.

You were only young once after all.

Humming to himself some children’s lullaby tune, Rosiahn walked freely through the halls of the Raika Industries tower. Few people gave the pinkette teen any second glances, and if he did get any, it was easy enough for him to give a smile and wave back. His aloof demeanor by nature caused even fewer people to come up to him, after all it certainly wasn’t an everyday occurrence to see a pink haired teenager wandering the halls with a floating Rubik’s Cube. Yes, in one hand Rosiahn kept toying around with his self-made puzzle, the metal cub floating and changing its faces by the properties of some nigh supernatural electromagnetism properties.

The teen soon found himself in a somewhat crowded elevator, silently amused with the fact that he stood a few inches taller than most of the other Japanese in the small room. He didn’t know exactly where he was going, but just like in the movies, adventure always found the un-expecting. The elevator let him out on the ground floor, Rosiahn following along with the exciting crowd. Stopping to look around, he now found himself in the somewhat grand foyer of the building. This was the regular customers and consumer’s level, open to the common public for whatever investment, banking, or financial needs they so desired. He gripped his Rubik’s cube with his fingers, stuffing the thing back into his pocket for the time being.

Looking on the entrance where people were so coming and going about their regular business day, Rosiahn tilted his head just slightly. It had not been so long ago that he had been in a situation where the two story glass windows had been shattered and villains had so attempted to rob the bank. But it seemed that business was back to normal, as if nothing had ever occurred in the first place. Observing the room further revealed to the teen that among the crowd and standing near the important entrances and exits, were men in black suits and dark glasses. A much need improvement in security, it seemed, father’s personal security detail.

This new adventure already had its air of danger. His face was one that could be recognized.

However, Rosiahn remained calm, keeping his pace to a brisk walk. Though he had next to no idea where he was going, his step had the silent impression of determination as if he did. His hand went back to his tie, quickly fixing it properly. Though he always did dislike looking ‘professional,’ he was rather practiced in the ability of doing so.

He made his way to the main reception desk, swiftly getting to the other side of the counter with a single swipe of his all access security card, being the son of the president certainly did have its perks. His youth really was the only betrayer in his appearance, but with a single showing of the security card, his presence needn’t be questioned. After all, only employees had those cards.

And so that was how Rosiahn found himself face to face with oddly, another teenager of his own age and even more curiously, his own height. He certainly didn’t appear Japanese, what with the blonde hair and tall figure, just what was it with all the foreigners on this island? Out of the corner of his eye, the teen spotted one of the men in black about his turn his way, but Rosiahn kept his head low, casually running his fingers through his hair, dually blocking the man from seeing his face.

It was what… something like one of those spy movies right?

Keeping his thoughts to himself though, Rosiahn kept his smile reserved and his tone of voice gentle.

“Hello, sir, how may I help you?”

As he walked into the bank he was overwhelmed the size of the building. He was right about one thing, these guys had money. I mean any bank had money, but to have a bank this big, glamorous, and magnificent was certainly a sight to behold. Getting an endorsement would be a surefire way to get into U.A. or at the very least get the funds to be able to enter in without having to worry about his own pockets getting emptied.

His original plan was to bring in some samples of his work for display, but because of... events... he had to just go bare and would have to convince them otherwise. After all, he still could access his files from another computer and show what he was working on and that an investment in him would surely yield to good results. At the ver least they might be able to put in a recommendation for him, a bank this big had to have some kind of sway on the politics in the area right?

He was first approached by what looked like a tall pink headed guy. Not many people were usually as tall or taller than him, but it seemed that this city was filled with eccentric exceptions to the rules that he had grown accustomed to. After all, his first experience was a girl that was his own height too.

He spoke to him in Japanese, probably some kind of question-based on the way that he was using his voice and raising his tone towards the end. Really he should've considered getting at least some basics of the language down rather than trying to stumble about with his phone. "S-Sorry! I don't speak Japanese." What other languages were common in Japan? The obvious was English since it was the language of business and since this was a bank surely this guy would at least know someone who would understand the language.

"Do you know English? Or anyone that knows it?" He smiled as best his could despite the rather awkward delivery of the message. "I have a meeting with a representative of the bank. Trying to get endorsed so I can get into U.A."

"Wish me luck."

Gale had said, well he had said a lot more. Despite her earlier request not to keep rambling all in one go it seemed like his nerves loosened his lips faster then his mind could control them. She was busily typing her response when he decided all at once to gather his resolve and step into the bank with just those three little words. It was only a moment before she looked up from her screen and saw him slip in between the doors and out of sight.

At a busy bank like this that momentary hesitation had been enough to put a few people in between them before she hurried after his silhouette disappearing into the crowd. She was trying her best to make up the distance and get back to gale's side. She was hurrying so much that she barely noticed the increased security at the door until a loud and shrill noise alerted her to the fact that she had just squeezed her way past someone and through a metal detector. Between her rush to get inside and the very obvious reason why she'd never pass a metal detector test she was immediately stopped by the security guards sticking their hands out and blocking her part.

"Miss, please wait for a moment."

It was of course the most inopportune thing to happen at the most inconvenient time. While gale was being regaled to an interview by the corporations heir apparent, Shiori was embroiled in a bitter but very one sided argument about whether or not her cybernetic arm was to be considered a concealed weapon or not. The longer her furious typing went on the louder and more annoyed the security personnel's voice became. The argument carrying across the lobby of the bank while multiple of the bank's patrons started throwing disturbed looks towards the battle of wills going on near the entrance.

"S-Sorry! I don't speak Japanese."

Those words definitely weren't in the land's native tongue.

And English speaker, a foreigner. Rosiahn had certainly been meeting a lot of those lately. But the pinkette kept his smile easy and spoke back with remarkably fluent English, just the slightest hint of a soft French accent in his tone. "A meeting Sir? Well, then I can surely direct you to the conference room on the twenty-fifth floor..." Rosiahn looked over the brunette Englishman before him, the words somehow coming out of his mouth without much hesitation. He was looking to get into Yuuei, so that must've meant he wasn't much older than Rosiahn himself. It was certainly a curious thing, going to a bank to get an endorsement type scholarship going on. But that would have to mean that the teen that stood before him had a natural talent with technology, perhaps even gadgetry and cybernetics? A man after his own tinkering type heart, and that brought a slight smile to the pinkette's lips.

And it would only take a few moments for the pinkette to know, that certain meeting was one that he, the 'representative' of father, was likely the one he was suppose to attend. It just so happened that in a twist of fate, this was a meeting he rather didn't want to miss.

"In fact, Sir, I can personally show you the way..." But Rosiahn would soon trail off, his eyes catching sight of a peculiar happening at the bank's front doors, one garnering the attention of several onlookers and passerby. A young blonde woman stood at the door, apparently being held up and being very adamant about being let in, despite the guards protesting and questioning otherwise. At first as well, the pinkette would should confusion but his clear blue eyes looked carefully to find that the woman's hand... was a cybernetic one.

There was just so many very curious people in Japan, wasn't there?

Rosiahn turned to his customer with a apologetic nod of his head. "Forgive me, Monsieur, but I must attend to this matter myself. Afterwards, I assure you will have your meeting." No longer needing to hide his identity, the pinkette allowed his natural French accent to come through with his words. And with that, he stood up from his place a the desk, put his hands on top, and in one swift motion jumped over the counter to the other side. Landing just beside the Englishman, he nodded again and made his way to the door, not particularly caring if anyone would now see him or recognize his face. Of course, most would be too busy with looking to the blonde and the security gaurd.

His steps deliberate and now purposeful, Rosiahn came to the doors without so much as a second look, keeping his blue eyes trained upon the security guard that just moments ago, he had been trying to hind from. His voice switched to Japanese, just was fluent though still spoken with a rather soft undertone.

"Does there seem to be a problem?"

The guard was at once surprised by the site of the boss's son being so forward, especially when it was quite obvious the pinkette was very out of place. He instead went on the more pressing matter of the woman with the cybernetic arm, which was not exactly something he was sure was allowed in the bank. But of course, the gaurd would then set about questioning why the younger Raika was there in the first place.

"Raika-san, you aren't supposed to be on this level. You know your father-"

Raika.

The name echoed an empty sound in the pinkette's head. And surely for any and all now listening in on the conversation would know, that was the very name that graced the building they all stood within.

"My father assigned me the duty of overseeing the operations of this office. And that includes ensuring all contributing patrons of Raika Industries are allowed to come and go peacefully." And though his voice was soft, it still held an air of authority, one that Rosiahn himself knew and very regrettably realized, that it echoed something like his father's own tone. However it was time again to put on another mask, and this was the mask of the heir to a corporate empire. "I am afraid I cannot have you so rudely hindering a potential patron as they enter the very building they are meant to do business within. Perhaps you can not even see that the cybernetics on her are fine pieces of craftsmanship that even more so define her as an exceptional associate? "

The gaurd looked to the pinkette wordlessly, left in a peculiar state of confusion of what the younger Raika had just said. In the end, the man would sigh in apparent defeat. If this was business, as the teen had somehow worded it out to be, then the boss's son was doing exactly what the boss wanted, whether it be with cyborg associates or whatever it happened to be.

The guard allowed the girl into the building as she so had demanded, with Rosiahn also soon sighing out in relief. He turned to the blonde with a light smile on his face, letting his hier apparent persona casually melt away, but not before he did give an apology to the young woman. "Je suis désolé, I am sorry for the inconvenience, Mademoiselle, though it is only true that some people do not fully appreciate the beauty of technology and human cybernetics." Of course, the word 'beauty' referred to far more than just the girl's hand, Rosiahn himself had long ago noticed the full figure and fine feminine features of the young woman before him. What he found most intriguing however was the girl's eyes, yellow irises surrounding by pure black sclera. Beautiful, almost mesmerising in their stare, and certainly not like anything he had witnessed before.

Japan was just filled with curious characters.

"Thank goodness..." He sighed in relief finally finding someone who spoke English. Though given that he had a refined look he probably was some representative of the bank. Meaning that more or less he had to be versed in the many languages, or at least enough to get the job done. Hearing that he would take him right up the conference room and save him the trouble of having to try and explain himself to multiple people. "Thanks, you're a life saver."

Though his relief was only short lived as after solving the issue of having to deal with the linguistic barrier he turned to see that Shiori had to deal with a metallic barrier. Or rather, a metallic detecting barrier. Right... banks have those things. It really was a miracle that his own glove didn't trigger the metal detectors, but that was mainly because it didn't have any metallic substances in it, just a pouch of chemicals and a plastic nozzle at the knuckles to actually spray it out.

Before he could even take a step the man had leaped over the counter and went to assess the situation. Part of him was relieved to know that someone was going to take care of it... but he also had to worry that Shiori's reluctance to actually speak might've made things only more stressful for her.

Walking back himself to see how things were paying it out seemed that the representative was talking to the group of people and managed to get them to move along. Well, he certainly handled the situation well, whatever it was that he had said to them had managed to get them all going along. Though he didn't understand it, the tone he was speaking to them all sounded authoritative, for a representative he must've held some kind of weight or was just good at talking.

He turned to the man bowing slightly. "Thanks for that." He may not have known the language, but he was near certain that bowling was good for showing thanks... or was that something else? He was saying other stuff to Shiori, but he couldn't make it out. But it was probably only good things, like asking if they were okay if they would be willing to take some kind of gift card for an apology, all that customer is alwaysthe right stuff.

He then looked at Shiori, who was probably frustrated and annoyed about the ordeal. And part of him felt guilty that it was his own fault for having gone ahead without really making sure she was ready. And thinking back he had probably said too much to get a rather simple response. He looked apologetically at Shiori looking down slightly. "Er... sorry for going ahead like that." He said simply knowing full well that anymore would probably just make him look stupid to her.

Earnings:

  • Gale Prism - 17 XP, 1,500 cash
  • Karakuri Shiori - 13 XP, 900 cash
  • Rosiahn Raika - 10 XP, 600 cash

Comments: I genuinely wanted to see Gale and Shiori talk about what happened the night prior, so I'm going to both praise and scold you for that. Making me care, how dare you? Also that drawing of Shiori was a perfect touch haha. I would've loved to see how the three of them all interacted, especially what the relationship would be between Rosiahn and Gale, whether it was one built upon work or a friendship. Maybe this can be explored in a future SL. Good stuff everyone.
