Out of all the places in japan a mother and child could've been, this pair of black haired humans were headed to the beach in atami without clothes on top of their swimming clothes. The child's parent wore an all black bikini, standard, but with her ample figure it proved to be quite the challenge. It wasn't like it had any spectacular features about it, rather it was the parent herself that provided all of the bewitching attraction that bought a lot of attention just by them setting foot; or sandal, on the sand. Makoto, the boy I was talking about, had on a basic pair of clothing as well, the regular white swim trunks he had. This gave off a normal appeal, meaning that most of the attention he was grabbing was of that of his mother; a person that didn't much care for the brought attention nor was she begging for it. This was just a regular old mother son bonding trip, so it was just him and her all the way. Well, at least that's what she aimed for, the child himself was getting distracted by all the Asian tail, and other tail that was out there, starting to shift his head to and fro while the lady had her arm's crossed over her plump breast. " Ow! "Slapped back to reality, his mama gripped his head, belittling him while trying to explain the situation. They weren't going to get a tent, maybe they could splash around in the water together and race or something. Both of them agreed on the racing, getting started to take off in the direction the water was in but, his mother suddenly vanished from the spot she was standing when he peaked over. "huh?" Carried away, metaphorically, by a bunch of ripped men and fuck boys alike, his mother could be seen reaching out to makoto as if she was trying to get out of them, heard shouting something along the lines of catching him later, and warning him not to get in any trouble. |

It was a bright day, and Arie had come to the beach of Atami for a nice break from the rush of Tokyo. The hot springs at the hotel where he was staying held their own draw too, but with such clear skies, going to the beach was the thing to do. Now, Arie generally wasn’t all that fond of both heat and sun, but nonetheless, on a day such as today, the best chance of meeting people came with going to the beach. Plus, Arie didn’t often get the opportunity to come away from Tokyo to this type of area, it would be a shame if he were to find himself neglecting one fundamental aspect of this sort of town. Thus, here he was, entering the beach. Upon his head, he wore a broad sunhat to ensure protection from the sun, and his eyes were covered by a pair of pink rimmed sunglasses. Beneath the hat, his white hair rested in its normal position, further keeping the sun from his right eye. Unwilling to fully commit to entering the water, Arie wore a loose white t-shirt on his upper half, with baggy light blue swim trunks on his lower half. Over his left shoulder was slung a pale pink beach bag, which matched his brand new flip flops, and housed a towel for him to dry himself off should he enter the water. The walk down the sidewalk to where the beach was proved support of Arie’s purpose for heading down, with the light patter of his feet hitting the ground being drowned out entirely by the sounds of the many other people similarly heading down to the beach. The bustle of people held such a variety, with all genders, ages, and a variety of races represented, natural given the tourist drawing nature of the location. As he continued the walk, Arie found himself growing somewhat warm, evidently the pleasant weather remained in opposition to his personal preference. Let’s see if I can find something around to cool off with. Eyes scanning the area through the crowds of people, Arie spotted his target, a small shack selling ice cream, popsicles, and other frozen delights. One brief wait in a line later, Arie was successfully holding his prize, a lemon popsicle. After stripping it of it’s wrapper, Arie gingerly let his tongue touch the popsicle, letting the flavors wash over him. Truly, this is great! All the tasty tartness of a lemonade, but far more refreshing! Savoring his treat and now better able to handle the heat, Arie continued onwards to the beach. As sandled feet sank into the hot sand, Arie surveyed the beach, and found, unsurprisingly, the area to be well populated with other beach goers. And so many too! The variety was astounding, Arie noted the many body types present with wide eyes behind his glasses. This makes all the heat worth it for sure, I’m bound to be able to meet some people here! With unbridled enthusiasm, Arie continued forwards, only to notice a commotion ahead. Though he couldn’t quite discern the source, it seemed someone had been taken away within a horde of admirers, leaving behind a boy. Someone left behind, looking perhaps a bit confused? Perhaps a potential friend? Walking towards the boy left behind, Arie ran his eyes up and down the boy. His appearance seemed somewhat unremarkable, simply being fairly standard for the japanese, though Arie wouldn’t call him entirely unappealing. As he came closer, Arie realized the boy was also a bit shorter. Nonetheless, Arie had become determined to gain a relationship with this individual, so the boy would be his friend, regardless of any averageness inherent to his physical form. Once close, Arie would take a brief lick of the ice pop, before completing his approach and talking to the stranger. ”Hai there, I can’t help but see your previous source of company’s been stripped from you. The beach’s no fun alone, mind if I join you for a bit?” |

A scene all too familiar to makoto. One where his mother was stripped away from him to either tease or fend off potential candidates for makoto's step father was one he'd seen to many times, and he didn't know why he thought it would be different in another country, even if it was toned down extremely. The sigh that didn't coincide with the gentle wind would tell it all, he wasn't happy, but this seemed to happen a lot, so maybe it was more of frustration. Whatever, he thought I'll just do what I came here to do. I'll just look for him, he thought, not realizing someone enjoying a frozen treat was headed his way, or could see the sudden disappointment cling to his face for a split second. Once he noticed, he turned slightly, making it so he could eye the taller male with one eye as he talked about how "the beach was no fun alone" and joining, and whatever, which didn't bother him; but didn't make all the sad emotion fade at one time.Turning to face the yellow lemon pop guy, his eyes looked from his head to his toes to give him a good grasp on who he was going to be dealing with. Young, Pretty, Femboyish, and weak. "Ah. Sure." He stated briefly, hinting that he wasn't against the sudden attention, but he was pretty open minded. Shifting his hand up like a person from the u.s. would, makoto offered it often when greeting people from other countries, somehow expecting them to know what he was insinuating. "Name's Itou Makoto. Or how we say it in new york, Makoto Itou" Speaking in a mild new Yorkie accent, his was a lot calmer due to him growing up with his mom that didn't exactly have it herself. It was something he didn't tend to talk about and most people didn't either but, the thing that most stuck out was how his attention wasn't on the guy in front of him any longer. Said attention shifted towards a group of girl's starting to leave a purple umbrella they once were gathered under, one's that were in their age group, and one's that were native by the looks of it. While most of them had on childish looking bikini's there was one voluptuous ten that stood out in the group, having a red hue over her cheeks as she was pulled to the water. This chick was wearing the most revealing thing he'd ever seen on the beach thus far, but was bound to be far from the last. Target Acquired. Blinking away from the stunning creature to the kid with the strange hair (He's one to talk), he started to feel a rush of happiness wash over him. Was it the thrill of the chase that would be starting up? or was it the sheer amount of beautiful females that visited the beach? Didn't know but, what he did know was that they or, he needed to get over there. In an effort to not seem rude, he had to make sure this came off just the right way, and seemed like he wasn't trying to avoid the person he was talking to. After all, his reputation as himself was one that he valued above all ease. "So, how would you feel if we went over annnnnnd, i don't know. Possibly talked to that group of girls over there?" He asked, trying to, and not trying to give off what he was aiming to do. Folding his hands behind his head, in attempts to give him the feel he was sort of "chill", his main focus rested on the dude about now... Which was weird because dudes usually had a problem with him. |

When the stranger proved himself willing to allow Arie into his company, Arie was most pleased. A lack of company was far from something which Arie desired, and it struck him as most convenient that he’d happened to stumble across this youth. When the stranger held forth his hand in an offer of a handshake, Arie responded in the typical Japanese response, extending his own hand to shake the boy’s, but doing so with little physical force. The resulting lackluster shake would seem to reflect some weakness in Arie, which he supposed was fairly accurate even if the lack of force was an intentional part of the Japanese attitude towards the act of the handshake. When the boy introduced himself as being “Makato Itou” and even properly used the Japanese conventions at first, Arie was briefly confused by his foreign accent, evidently from New York as per the admission of Makato. I guess appearances aren’t everything, but I would’ve guessed him to be a local. Oh well, doesn’t matter. Though foreigners are a lot more interesting, so I suppose I’ve actually lucked out. Arie promptly responded to the latter’s own introduction, providing his own identity for Makato. ”A pleasure to meet you, I’m just called Arie. I think I’ll call you Ma-Kun.” For a moment Ma-kun’s eyes drifted past Arie, and though he wasn’t so rude as to turn about to look, Arie was more than a little bit curious as to the cause of the distraction. And evidently, it seemed that an answer to this mystery was immediately making itself present, as Ma-Kun was now suggesting they went over and proceeded to talk to apparently, “talk” with a group of girls. Turning his own gaze in the indicated direction, Arie found himself gaining a solid amount of insight into the motives behind the desire expressed by Ma-Kun, partially because it was one he shared to some extent. Gazing upon the bountiful bikinied beach beauties, Arie could certainly see the appeal in getting to know them. A similar age range was certainly a plus, and while Arie immediately noted the most endowed member of the group, he found that some of the more modest ones possessed their own degree of youthful innocence and “cuteness”, equally endearing, similar to part of why Arie had maintained interest in Makato despite the latter’s lack of any extraordinary physical traits. ”Oh Ma-kun I’m sure that it’s just “talking” you want to do. Not that I have any objections, this is a beach after all, such a thing is expected.” With this, Arie waited for Makato to begin moving towards the group, upon which he would follow beside him, his stride being closer to a slight skip in appearance. As he moved, he continued to enjoy the cooling tartness of the ice pop, each lick of the ice pop seeming to hold off the heat of the sun beating down upon him. Well, this is certainly a promising beginning to the day. First I get to cozy up to Ma-kun, and now we get to “talk” with some other cuties. Oh, that’s so demeaning to them, but ugh, I want to be sociable. Hopefully, if all goes well, I’ll even end up with some company to enjoy the hot springs here with too. |

Ma-kun? He wasn't sure if everybody in japan was this forward or if it was just lady luck, blankly looking down on him with her neck craned to one side per usual. He couldn't figure out why this guy was so damn cheerful when he was almost the exact opposite but, dwelling on it would only make his head hurt. Instead, he raised an eyebrow at the sound of him catching on to the true intentions makoto had in store, not throwing him off in the slightest. Instead this made him that much more interested in the strange guy. Without another word the boy turned and began making his slow way over to where the females were playing; not even noticing that they were even heading towards them. Least that would have been true if the pair wasn't so abnormal. It might have been somekind of curse/blessing that made "Ma-Kun" only stand out like a swore thumb when next to someone that was even slightly above average. On one hand, this was a good thing that some were starting to notice them on their venture across the warm sand, on other hand, that bastard standing next to him with the ice pop stood out because... He was the above average dude and he had an ice pop. Makoto himself was fairly oblivious to all of this because he hadn't had any real guy friends in his fifteen years, so he mirrored the curious smiles and giggles sent their way and just assumed they were just the excitable type. "Hello, how are you girls doing?" He started off when he got there, his eyes trying their hardest to look at them as a group instead of just jetting to the elephant on the beach. They stopped in their tracks prior to them getting close enough to talk because they were having a humorous argument about fear of going to deep and inability to swim. When the ones that weren't already closely expecting both of them locked eyes with the pair,he formed an opinion on them from their chilled body language; THE TIMING WAS JUST RIGHT! One with a black pony tail (One of the cutest ones btw) spoke for the entire group with a delight filled "GREAT! We were just about to get into the water!" To which some of them rubbed their foreheads. There image was ruined at that moment, if it hadn't already been from that argument not to long ago. All in all it was fortunate that the ice was demolished. |

Earnings:
Comments: Now, as always with things of this nature, I am wholly disappointed the thread did not go on longer. It was interesting to see Makoto, cute pet name by the way Indigo, interacting with the continually playful Arie. Mm, I can't make this a long spill on the thread because, frankly, it was cut down way too soon but from what I could tell it would certainly be fun to write and fun to read. Seeing two villains interact with innocent beachgoers and possibly lead into some heist nearby or some other nefarious actions~? Ah, getting ahead of myself... Nice job overall though, you two. You managed to keep the narrative serious enough to paint a picture but relaxed enough to show that nothing too serious was going down. Easily this could've been flicked on though like a switch, which I like. Dynamism in writing. If I have one bit of advice, It's for you, Kid. Try to space out NPC dialogue either on a separate line or by using any generic color. Hiding it within writing like that may make people skim over it especially if they read it too quickly. Granted nothing was wrong with doing that, it's just it'll help the flow of your narrative if you make dialogue stand out from writing. Just like how you could potentially take a step and make thoughts italicized. In the end both of your writing styles were solid, so enjoy your spoils. You both earned them. |
